#I love cartoons a lot

Gotta have a minute to rant. It’s not anything too deep, just something I want to talk about on here.

My mom said earlier that all cartoons are made for kids. (She goes to sleep when cartoons are on. I’m the opposite, I don’t like watching anything but cartoons lol)

So I, of course, went on to say “what about like Rick and Morty?” And she went on a whole tangent about how AS was made for adult children and cartoons are all dumb and have no value to adults and how I need to grow up and watch “real” tv.

I’m on my third rewatch of Trollhunters by Guillermo del Toro, and amazing show by an amazing man. It’s inspiring to me, and it brings me a lot of joy. The messages are applicable to my life all over the place and the animation is absolutely incredible.

It does not make me an “adult child” just because I enjoy tv shows made for children. There are real life lessons that I feel that I can take away from these shows that most of the “adult shows” my mother enjoys couldn’t come close to replicating.

Another thing to remember, these shows were made by adults, adults who spent hours and days and weeks working on them. There are tons of successful adults who make these children’s shows. I don’t think they would think badly of you if you enjoyed what they worked hard on.

I don’t think someone who loves you should look down on you for enjoying something, even if it’s not something they enjoy.

Me and my partner @the-good-ol-art-corner collaborated on this AWESOME poster for one of our favorite Bendy Aus @toontiedterror by @dictatortirah !! I am in LOVE with how it came out and I am so excited to see how this story and world develops!!

I put so many details into this, it is absolutely silly, but I had a swell time doing them. Those headshots on the missing posters belong to the staff from our own Bendy project @howdy-folks-its-showtime and we didn't even intend to make two versions. But I put so much into the background... I just had to make a version without the foreground to show it off <3

Thinking about Leo being trapped in the Prison Dimension and keeping himself warm through the power of his own ninpo - this ability is shown to us as a flame, after all, so imagine if, when he lets his mystic energy run through him, it warms him up, just a little.

In this desolate place, all cold and alone, he focuses on that flame and leans into its warmth.

He relies on it, and he realizes it that he’d relied on it too much when it goes out, and he’s once again cold.

I am in a hype fixation once again and like hear me out, prompt is the beginning and like day and night that's basically a bunch of beginnings. I just really wanted to do like something fun with colors and patterns! If you guys have any fic recommendations for fnaf fics that center around the daycare attendant please let me know! I just caught up on Permission Slip and that fic is immaculate.

Being a kid and watching Danny Phantom meant accepting what the show wanted you to know: Dark Danny and Vlad were evil. They were one-dimensional villains who were just there to be evil. They were there to be everything that our Danny wasn’t.

Being an adult reading AGIT is acknowledging that Dark Danny lost everything he had at 14 years old. He was a just a child, one that had already been carrying too much for his age. Danny stopped emotionally growing at 14 and tried taking away his pain, but only became consumed by his anger. Being an adult who has experienced loss is understanding exactly how Danny feels. That anger is so much easier than pain.

Being an adult reading AGIT is understanding that Vlad was only in college when his best friend’s negligence cost him his life. Being an adult is understanding that Vlad lost everything too, nearly as young as Danny did.

Being an adult is understanding that no one is black and white. No one is good or evil. We’re all just trying our best. AGIT did such a good job representing this.

It's been a pretty long time since I just drew Danny Phantom fanart- normally it's secret trio but while doing warm up doodles I just started drawing him. A ghost fella!

I don’t know how you do it. But Hazbin is a cartoon. 2D animation. And yet you bring a level of realness to Charlie and Vaggie with your art that’s just so amazing!! Your style is genuine, real, and beautiful. THANK YOU for sharing it and letting us see it.

Although I also enjoy seeing artists apply their creativity in their redesigns of characters, I like to stay as "on model" as I can even with the wildly different art style I have compared to the source material. Idk it's kinda similar to how strict I am with keeping things in character with fics I guess. Despite that tho I really do also wanna add some "flavor" to their designs too that make sense to their character, as long as I can stay true to their silhouettes.

So Vaggie's still petite and flat chested and has CHILD BEARING HIPsss... But she has toned muscles because being an ex soldier still has her regularly working out. Charlie has wide shoulders and long limbs and an overall lanky frame, but underneath the suits she's got a pretty sizeable rack because she got em from Lilith and some tummy rolls and love handles because that's just how a skinny person who's healthy and hydrated and doesn't work out looks sometimes. Also, if she's naturally strong because of her genes, then that's even less reason for her to work out.

Ngl I probably got the idea in my head about Charlie specifically because of the chaggie fic Igual. The author made it a important to point out that Charlie's got love handles while Vaggie's inner monologue still raves about how attractive she is and that was just so nice to me.
