Out of all the indie shows, I'm in love with Monkey Wrench the most, and I find it nuts that Zeurel animated 2/3rds of the upcoming episode on his own because there wasn't enough budget to hire other animators to do it. He took on a bulk of the work himself to make his art come to life.

Meanwhile VivziePop is supposedly the queen of indie animation. Sure she is.

The only thing Viv's the queen of is having a rich family and a lot of capital to pour into everything but the actual people making her dream project a reality. She might be something, but she's no queen and she's sure as hell not indie.

Zeurel, on the other hand, has earned every scrap of indie cred he has.

Monkey Wrench guys. If you haven't yet, go watch it. There's 3 episodes, and they're all amazing. It's worth your time, trust me.

Funny thing, @zeurelart (That guy behind a LOTS of youtube animation and creator of this superb series) was one of the many cartoonist I got inspired to try out animations myself back in the day.(...I'm more a Storyboarder/Comic book artist than an animation guy in the end, but that's not the point.)

His use of line, and exaggerated expressions is a pure delight to see. It's super hard to reach this kind of level in animation. He's good, like super good.

Anyways, you should watch this show if you haven't already, the character are great with a super detailed design, (Which is something rarer in animation nowadays) and even the universe built around it seems promising. I want to watch more of that !
