#I literally went back to the beggining of the series

Note
I'd say that Tri, Last Kizuna and 02 The Beggining are a tad of a weird approach to try and bank into nostalgia, but not letting go the concept of "no you have to say goodbye to the 'mons"... which doesn't work after 02's epilogue. And then Adventure 2020 happened, and forgot that it was supposed to be an assemble show.
I don't have a problem with nostalgia banking, but Last Evolution Kizuna wanted really badly to be Toy Story 3 and failed. That, I take a lot of issue with.
There's a lot of heated debate surrounding LEK. The idea that the kids' partnerships with their Digimon break because it's time to put away childish things and grow up is extremely contentious within the fandom, but it's also not universally agreed that the film is even saying that thanks to translation issues with the subs and also some very ambiguous imagery with the ending.
There are basically two different interpretations of what happens in LEK.
1 - Sora, Taichi, Yamato, Jou, Mimi, and Koushiro all lose their Digimon Partners because they enter adulthood - but not Takeru and Hikari because they still have a few years to go.
This is a natural occurrence and the result of growing up. They have no choice and no agency in the matter; The Universe takes their Partners away because they're too old to be playing with toys anymore, and they just need to fucking suck it up and deal.
2 - Sora, Taichi, and Yamato lose their Digimon Partners because they're too irresponsible with their adulthood. Mimi, Jou, and Koushiro do not because they're responsible adults and are balancing their adult lives and their love for their Partners well.
What happens to Sora, Taichi, and Yamato is a rare and unusual occurrence, but there is hope that they will one day find their Partners again once they've gotten their heads on straight and made their way as adults.
For obvious reasons, the film is very unpopular with fans who take the first interpretation and pretty well-liked with fans who take the second. Which one is actually the valid and intended reading? Well. It's complicated. The movie went through a tumultuous creative process, to the point that Adventure series director Kakado Hiroyuki walked out on production midway through over disagreements and inconsistencies to the original series.
Which is, y'know, always a promising sign for a new entry in a series.
Watching the film, for me, it honestly feels like both readings are intended. Which is to say, you can find evidence to support either/or. I don't think that's deliberate, I just think the film was sloppily made and shows signs of conflicting creative visions.
Proponents of the Good Movie interpretation can point to the villain of the film, whose central motivation is literally that having your Partner taken away because you grew up is some fucking bullshit. In its final act, the film reveals that her Partner did come back - Just in an unrecognizably different form, not as the Partner she knew.
So the natural conclusion then is that Agumon and Gabumon will reincarnate and may find their way back to Taichi and Yamato; They just won't be Agumon and Gabumon. Which still contradicts the 02 epilogue despite proponents of the Good Movie interpretation insisting that 02's epilogue is still canon to LEK.
Which itself has evidence to support it (Taichi and Yamato are on their way to becoming the people they are in the epilogue) and evidence to refute it (Agumon and Gabumon fucking died).
As the translation breakdown in the above link shows, there's also some phrasing issues that created confusion. Gennai in the official English version describes losing your Partnership as a typical occurrence while, in the original Japanese, he seems to describe this more like a rare thing that he doesn't fully understand.
It's explained that what's happening is the narrowing of potential. Children have infinite potential, which something something Digimon Partnerships. As you make choices with your life, you narrow your potential, and eventually it can no longer sustain a partnership - Unless you're able to become an adult with limitless potential anyway!
That seems like it's setting Taichi and Yamato up to figure out their shit and save their Partnerships at the last second. But they figure out their shit and still lose their Partners, which gets described in the end as a rite of passage.
The blog with the big translation breakdown I linked above makes a note of the difference between the official translation, "This is how we finally grew up," and a more accurate translation, "This is how we arrived at the entrance to adulthood." As they say, it shouldn't be translated with finality.
But that's splitting hairs, because either version is still saying that losing Agumon and Gabumon was Taichi and Yamato's rite of passage from childhood into adulthood. Whether they've become adults or taken their first steps into adulthood doesn't actually matter; it's still describing this loss as the gateway that brought them there, which is the point of contention.
They did what they were supposed to do, they were still punished for it, and then they close by describing it as if it were an inevitable consequence of growing up despite what Gennai said. Which may or may not be corroborated by what happened to Jou, Mimi, and Koushiro.
Proponents of the Good Movie interpretation will point to Jou, Mimi, and Koushiro as proof that not everyone loses their Partners. Proponents of the Bad Movie interpretation will point to those same characters as proof that everyone does. This is due to a fundamental disagreement in how you interpret the final scenes.
At no point does the film ever say, with words, that Jou, Mimi, and Koushiro lose their Partners. But it does conclude with these images:
The final shots of Taichi, Yamato, and Sora show them to be moving forward with their adult lives, with no Digimon. The younger kids Takeru and Hikari's slides contain Patamon and Tailmon. There are also slides for the 02 characters, which show their Digimon Partners still taking an active role in their lives too.
But Jou, Koushiro, and Mimi? No Partners in their slides.
Good Movie fans will say that the film never says explicitly that they lost their Partners, so this means nothing. Their partners are probably just offscreen somewhere.
Bad Movie fans will say that these slides are meant to show the older kids moving on with their lives post-Digimon and the younger kids still having their Digimon Partnerships. There's a clear contrast between Hikari and Takeru's slides versus Taichi, Yamato, and Sora's - and Jou, Koushiro, and Mimi are presented like Taichi, Yamato, and Sora here, not like Hikari and Takeru.
Good Movie fans have the counterpoint to be made that their Partners still exist in 02's epilogue. So, y'know, canon faithfulness says that everyone's Digimon will come back or was never lost. Checkmate, naysayers.
But also Last Evolution Kizuna basically ignores Tri and makes no attempt to address the questions it left hanging, and also the Adventure story director walked out of production over inconsistencies to the original so I don't think you can really use canon faithfulness as a talking point here.
Taichi and Yamato are still on their way to becoming an ambassador and an astronaut respectively, so the epilogue hasn't been thrown out entirely. But it clearly has been thrown out. Jou was supposed to become a doctor in the Digital World, Sora was supposed to become a fashion designer instead of inheriting her mom's ikebana mastery, and Mimi was supposed to become a chef instead of selling cosmetics.
Yeah, Taichi and Yamato are still on-track to a similar life path than what the epilogue gave them, but nobody else is. So I don't think the movie is actually as faithful to 02 as the Good Movie side thinks it is. And apparently neither does Kakado Hiroyuki.
For me, I do think they were trying to say it's time for the kids to put away childish things and grow up. I don't think they meant that to be insulting. But I do think it's kind of insulting.
I think they were trying to do what Toy Story 3 did; To tell a story about the rite of passage from childhood to adulthood and what that means for the things we loved and enjoyed as kids. But I don't think that story works when the putting away of childish things is something cosmically forced on the children rather than a choice they make with their own agency.
Toy Story 3 wouldn't have landed the way it did if the movie was about Andy's mom pinning him down by the arms while garbagemen come in and throw Buzz and Woody into a woodchipper. But that's kind of what Last Evolution Kizuna does to the Adventure kids.
Taichi and Yamato get to give a powerful emotional farewell to Agumon and Gabumon. But they don't want to, they are not making this choice for themselves, and no reason is ever provided for why they should have to. And even the best defenses of the film just make it out to be a weird, random cosmic blip that maybe they'll fix some day, who knows.
Even in the best-case scenario, the universe just decided to grievously hurt Yamato and Taichi for no reason even though they were already making strides to undo the thing they were allegedly being punished for. It's still mean-spirited and cruel even in the best possible interpretation.
So. Yeah. All things considered, I find myself falling on the side of "It's a bad movie and I don't accept it as part of my personal Digimon canon." I don't accept that the children need to all have their Digimon deleted once they enter into adulthood, and I equally don't accept that they don't need to have that happen but that Taichi and Yamato deserved to have their Digimon ripped away from them at the end. There is no version of this movie that I actually like.

Hello❤️! So I was wondering if you could create a post about my request that I will tell you now, because I really want to hear your opinion on it.
So my friend and I both watch Tokyo Revengers and we both read the manga and everything and we just love to talk about it. Our opinions and “theories” would mostly be (it includes Mikey), what if Draken was pressured by Mikey into being around Emma, protecting her and in the end loving her.
So our opinion is based on a fact that Draken is doing everything for everyone and putting himself last. First off the nature of Drakens and Mikeys friendship-Draken looked up on Mikey and through the years got the habbit of doing everything he says and doesn't, and now we know that Emma was really important to him as well as her happiness (everyone excluding her as a child, being alone etc.). So what we think was going on is rather in the beggining Mikey was the one pulling the strings between the two and as the years went by-Mikey making Toman and being the leader of it- Draken wasn't in a position to say no as well as the other members of Toman. It was shown that no one has a problem with Emma and even if she was the most likable person ever it is not possible to get along with everyone. basically people couldn't say no to Mikey and couldn't stay on Emma's bad side and in those people we include Draken.
Another point that I already mentioned a lot is Mikey. Through the story it got shown more then once that Mikey lost respect for Draken, for example when Taiju said how Mikey trust Izana more then Draken, and like he knew Draken since they were like 10? or when they had a meeting about letting Kisaki in and yes Mikey was manipulated but he didn't even consider Drakens opinion, his literal right hand and best friend, and Draken isn't stupid he had to realize it at one point so that rises a question why didn't back away?
Draken has no one. He grew up in a place where he did without good role models and like 1 person that would look at him as a kid. He had Mitsuya but Mitsuya also had his sisters to take care of, and Draken was surely aware if that so the only person he had was Mikey who already lost respect for him and was ready to replace him, the only thing keeping him in his place was always doing things for Mikey and never saying no. Not saying that they didn't love each other, they surely did but deaken surely had a pressure of being replaced and loosing the only person he could be with. So the main question, considering your page, does Draken really loves Emma or is he just pressured by Mikey? It is said that it was Mikeys dream for Emma and Draken to be together and have a family. And also like I said that Draken didnt have anyone so I also think that he sticked around the Sano siblings because he didnt want to be alone. And also in the future where its said like “Takemichi and Hina are married but Emma always spends time at their place, and Emma is pregnant…”, Draken and Emma are almost not even spending time together.
I would love if you could take some of your time to replay ro my request because I really want to hear your opinion on this.
Btw i really love everything you write! Keep it up!❤️❤️
(English is not my first language sorry if there are mistakes)
Oh I've never heard that before, it's an interesting pov! I could definitely see it from the perspective of Draken putting others before himself, Draken is a very selfless guy and we see it a whole lot throughout the series. He's definitely not a pushover to Mikey though and will stand his ground when he thinks Mikey is wrong about something. I'm also not sure Mikey would've even realised that's what was going on, I mean when he first sees Draken and Emma talking, his first response is to think they're gossiping about him. (Lmao)
He obviously realises their feelings at some point but he definitely doesn't seem perceptive enough to notice that early on, more so in Emma's case here since she seems to be the one who fell first.
I do think that a lot of the toman members were forced to get along with Emma though. Not forced as in it was hard for them but more like before they even met her they knew to never cross the boss's sister. I mean Hina had no reason to get along with her but did so rather quickly so I'm assuming Emma is a nice person who is fairly easy to get along with anyways. There probably were some people in toman who didn't like her or wouldn't like her but we don't really get to see her interact with them or see their pov's.
I also don't think Mikey lost respect for Draken at those points either, I think it was more like he just had more trust in the others rather then losing trust in Draken. We know family is very important to Mikey so it makes sense that he latched onto Izana to help fill the space his dead siblings had left. With Kisaki although I agree Mikey was in the wrong for not listening to the others here. I understand that he did this because he was desperate, he knew he needed help and cared for the others too much to get them involved so he turned to someone he thought could help. He was scared and people don't always make good choices when they're scared.
We've never seen Draken have any kind of insecurity about losing Mikey but I like the idea of it. I think it would make sense for him to be worried about losing someone so close, we know he adores Mikey. Though I also think he understands Mikey very well and knows that Mikey probably wouldn't just replace him over something like that.
As for Emma spending a lot of time at Takemichi and Hina's place in the future, it's not said but I've always assumed it's because Draken is working a lot. He does have a wife and kid on the way to support and I'm not sure how time consuming his career is but it seems like something that would take up a lot of his time. Which would leave Emma alone so she goes to Hina's place instead to hang out with her. This is just speculation though since none of this is mentioned in the last character book.
All in all I do think Draken loves Emma, Draken would do a lot of things for Mikey but marrying his sister and spending the rest of his life with her seems a bit too much. Though just because I think that doesn't mean the hc or anything is wrong. I can definitely see certain aspects of it and it was fun to think about all these different things! It was a cool hc to read about!

"sure" if charlie never said this we would never have the future pirate jon, IF HE NEVER GOT A 16 THINK WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED "you cant tell if i cry a single tear or if im usually that moist" the fact that he is can make for an angsty hc that nobody really would notice gill crying "jon didnt make it" oh this better not be another accidental foreshadow "you see, a pink frogtupus" everyone being excited for the preztal reveal was also all of us huh dont lie! "i look like a big flounder" fanartists canon gill description /j "god damn it big j" friendly reminder that (from what ive seen) marshal jon is the only character gill gave a nickname, and he had met him like 20+ minutes ago "YA BOY GILL ABOUTA BE FRIED" "ima just grab them both and jump" ngl i cant put my finger on it but calmer gillion probs the chaos control thats needed because of him being feral "jon this is for you" *proceeds to get an 8* (would have been epic if he suceeded that charisma tho) "jon, the power is- eyeh" "i look over wistfully (?) Dive into Odd and Sissi's relationship evolution
As i said, the relationship between these two was pretty rocky at the start. Odd was the one with more reservations with Sissi, the one that didn't believed in Sissi's attempts to change for the better. At the end of the day Odd still had fresh in his mind how the first time she came around Sissi told her dad and the police almost spelling disaster for everyone. So with her, he kept up the sarcastic almost caustic personality he had on the main series. Berating her and taunting her almost at any time. Of course and mainly at the beggining Sissi took the bait and barked back, insulting him as well and saying how he didn't brought anything to the team except perhaps a highly debatable comic relief, like a class clown who doesn't know his act has gotten old. While this confrontation was annoying for the rest, they tolerated it because both Odd and Sissi knew better than let it affect their mission when Xana attacked. They also were intelligent enough to try and not go to Lyoko together if they had the chance to choose. As time passed and attacks were repelled the flames of hate went down. They still existed and tried to ignore eachother, not wanting to stay in the same room. But now at least they didn't start screaming at eachother at each moment. It all this ended on one attack where they were the only ones free to enter Lyoko and protect and guide Aelita. After a day of getting in eachother nerves as usual, they had to put their differences aside to survive a direct attack on Cadik that had taken both Yumi and Ulrich by surprise. After fighting through the latest monsters sent their way and reaching the factory, they went together in the scanners and acted as a unit to save the day. After this, Odd went into Sissi's room ans finally opened up to her and had a real conversation ''Look... I'm sorry for how i've been treating you all this time. You didn't deserved all that. While it's true that maybe we won't ever truly see eachother eye to eye, it doesn't excuse me from being a jerk all this time. What i'm trying to say is that... I know why the others trust in you. And even if i try to deny it, i trust in you too and i've been doing it for a long time now.'' ''Thanks, I cannot know what i must have been thinking... that time. I literally have not experienced it. And honestly, after seeing how the returns work so many times i won't make myself responsible for what another version of me might have done all the times i myself haven't decided to do it, even more with... well, with how much different i'm now than what i was back then. But again, thanks for telling me that. I know that even if i try to do the right thing i'm still the new one. I know you all took a massive risk letting me know of your secret. And i completely known that i wasn't the best person to any of you in the past, trust me in that. But that's precisely why i'm trying to be better. And one thing i'll never, ever do is betray that trust you've given me. You said how you trusted me even if you deny it right? i'm the same way, i honestly respect you a lot. Time and time again you've shown you cared. You've fought. And today, yesterday, whatever the term for it might be you've demonstrated that you won't pull at any stops to save your friends... including me. So truce?'' ''Truce'' 12

IT WAS A FORESHADOW
and I do not mean that its a foreshadow of Steven breaking a gem, no-- its a foreshadow of being able to fix one. that if they can make them, and a drop of each diamond can uncorrupt them, then larger amounts can mend them back. that he’s, more likely, able to do enough pressure to fix it. the reason why shattering was so heavy, so strong between gems wasn’t because it WASNT possible to fix them back-- is because no one had tried before. is because it was never done, never thought of.
they never even healed gems back then. didnt even think of it. if a gem was damaged, corrupted, it was more likely to be shattered and either used for Yellow’s experiments or just thrown away.
experiment which, mind you, werent made by hand. werent made by pressing gems together or spitting on them and fusing them. they were made with outside methods, by putting the gems together and sticking them to a controlled, fixed piece of ground and let grow. and then reproduced inside the earth.
But! even if it wasn’t a practiced thing, I think it was either speculated or known by Pink/Rose. if it wasn’t,
then why did she collect them? why did she hope to heal or fix or have them? was it just some kind of eternal burial, to have them all in a bubble? to save them from Yellow? maybe all together? (I do not remember if it was adressed in the series, so if it was, please, tell me!)
(Also, the water clears as soon as Jasper starts reforming. does the power wear off after it gets fixed? does it get absorbed into the gem?)

So after two years I just finished watching all 11 seasons of the x-files and damn it hurt, tonight was the fucking end of an era for me and I just spent 10 minutes crying in the shower.
It was so crazy too; like Skinner was faithful down to the very last minute. He was the one steady character who stuck to his morals and was never corrupted. He also killed fucking Reyes who was my least favorite character ever and was a bad temporary replacement for Scully. I love that man so much and I'm not ashamed to admit that I cried when he got killed.
The whole William debacle was good for closure, I really liked his character and I'm happy that Mulder got to talk to him even though he technically wasn't his dad. I really loved the connection that Scully had with him too, even though it wasn't the most straightforward. William really loved her and he tried to communicate that to her.
I have questions: What happened to Doggett? What happened to Kersh? I hate that man also, he was a real pain in the ass. Was Samantha's ending real?
Mulder and Scully's love story was so awesome. I waited two whole years, and 218 episodes to get to the ending and I finally came to a conclusion. Their love story wasn't meant to be the typical on-screen romance where the sexual tension gets resolved through an established relationship or something. It was a connection that was solidified through a decade-long life that revolved around self-exploration. We got a grand total of 3 kisses but that wasn't really the point, it was the fact that they trusted and loved each other by the end of the series. They did everything for each other. Let's be real, Scully thought that Mulder was an insufferable twat at the beggining of the show, and by the end he was one of the only people that she trusted. I love that their relationship wasn't portrayed through sex scenes or kisses, but through the small gestures. The way that they hugged each other, or held hands really communicated their deeper feelings. I fucking love that.
Back to Doggett. That wonderful man was around for 2 seasons, but he was an awesome Mulder replacement. Mulder brought something really critical to the show, he was the backbone almost. But Doggett was charming, and kind and had a dry sense of humor. Plus that accent hehe. He really grew on me, I thought he was a jerk but then he slowly (quickly, who am I kidding?) became one of my favorite characters because he cared for Scully, and hated Mulder but still put in full effort to find him. I missed him in the last two seasons, and the fact that they didn't even make up a covexr for his disappearance sort of put me off.
I don't really want to go off on the characters that I hated because there are so many that I love and appreciate. But Agent Reyes was the most annoying woman ever. No explanation but like ugh no. Her betrayal in the end really hurt, like she worked so hard for the x-files and then she just,, decided to work for the smoking man to "Protect Dana" BITCH NO. YOU LITERALLY COULD HAVE KILLED HIM. ugh im very passionate in my dislike for her.
The smoking man. He progressively got more and more dislikeable as the series went on and I swear he died like 8 times before Mulder finally put a bullet in his head. I had sympathy for him for a tiny period of time, but then he shot and experimented on Spender so I no longer liked him. He had a sad backstory, but I felt like it wasn't consistent with his dickhole behavior near the end. But also!! Did you know that the actor for the smoking man was an advocate for this Canadian cancer organization? I think that that is super sweet, and in real life he seemed like such a kind guy!
There is so much to talk about like Krycek! His character was cool! And then he was mean and annoying and evil and Skinner really did the x-files universe a solid by killing him. I loved him though and was sad to see him go. Remember that one horrible episode where he got his arm cut off without anesthesia? yeah. That is one of the episodes that lives forever in my memory and makes me cringe to think about.
Before William was Scully's alien daughter who died, and even though she was sort of forgotten about in the continuing plotline, I really loved that episode. It was so sad and it really showed Scully's desire for a life outside of the FBI and how much she wanted a family.
A tiny sentence in memorial for the first deep throat who was in my opinion the superior one.
This leads me to the religious representation in this show. Personally, I am not religious but it was so cool to see a TV show that demonstrated a positive outlook on Christianity. It also showed how people with different beliefs can still get along, Mulder didn't believe in God and Scully did. Her relationship with religion was complicated though, she had an inner dispute between her faith in God and the logical approach that science gave her. A big part of the series was her trying to find a balance between the two, and I loved how we were given closure on that. She believed in the existence of the supernatural, and scientific explanations, but also that miracles were real, and that God was real.
Okay this is Way Too Long but one last little paragraph to celebrate three of the most loveable, wonderful characters in the whole show.
The lone gunman, Frohike, Langly and Byers were decidedly some of the quirkiest, most solid characters. I hated the fact that they died, and that was literally gut-wrenching. They did go out with a bang, they were some of the nerdiest TV show dudes ever but they were heroic and selfless and so so so loyal to Mulder and the x-files. I love them all and I want to applaud Langly's dedication to his haircut for a long decade. Totally badass. Also, John's sad love story was super sweet and made me love him even more.
I could write about this forever and I have so much more to say, I probably will because this is such a big part of who I am. Well thank goodness for fanfiction, I've been holding off on it for two years so I could understand the plot and I'm finally there!
The truth is out there <3
#x files#mulder and scully#walter skinner#lone gunmen#it's over and I am dying#But thank you chris carter for giving us an amazing series

Bonanza chronology
(so far, which is the first 5 seasons)
As someone quite interested in history, I always enjoy stories set in the past and I always like to know when exactly in the past they are set. So recently I found myself trying way to much to figure out when does "Bonanza" actually take place. And It seems to be a far more difficult problem than I initially thought. But here's what I've got so far, after watching 5 seasons.
But then, as I was watching the series episode after episode, I quickly realised, that this 'canonical chronology' is bullshit and that time in "Bonanza" works in mysterious and extremely convoluted ways.
Generally the series takes place roughly somewhere in the 1860s. The first half of the decade to be a bit more precise, somewhere right before and during the American Civil War (something that is occasionally brought up in the episodes). That's literally what wikipedia says. However, as I dived a little into the fanpages and whatnot, I discovered that there seems to be a some sort of a more specific, canonical, chronology that basicly says that the pilot ("A Rose for Lotta") is set in 1859, then the first season is 1860, the second - 1861, the third - 1862 and so on.
(To be honest, that's quite cool actually, because it would mean that the series takes place exactly 100 years before it's premiere)
To realize that the canonical chronology just doesn't apply to the actual show, you only have to watch the first two seasons, where some episodes have literally a written year at the beginning.
We have it in season's one "San Francisco":
And that's ok, I mean, yeah, the first season (supposedly set in 1860) is coming to an end and now we are getting into the next year. It makes sense.
It still makes sense in the second season where we have "The Courtship", again with a date at the beginning:
Don't know why would they say it again, but all right, it's still 1861, no problem here.
And then, just two episodes later, comes "Bank Run" with this audacity:
What on earth happened here??? They just totally skipped 1862 and now we're a year later, with no explanation or a reason. And that's the moment when you realize that there is no such thing as 'linear chronology' in "Bonanza".
Especially when you also take into account all those stories involving real historical figures which were quite often in the first season. Sometimes the show just doesn't really care about historical facts and for example Lotta Crabtree (from "A Rose for Lotta") in 1859 would be only 12 years old. "The Julia Bulette story" is a bit closer to history altrough Bulette's death was changed a lot as in reality she died in 1867. Mark Twain, who appeard in "Enter Mark Twain", in reality visited Virginia City in 1863, so again, why is this a part of the first season which takes place in 1860?
Then you also have episodes which literally bring up real historical events, but they do it in such a clumsy way, that it's just painful. The one episode that strikes me the most with it is propably "A House Divided" which obviously quotes Lincoln's famous speech. Ben Cartwright even reads this speech in a brand new newspaper, but guess what, it's a speech from 1858, which is before the Comstock Lode was even discovered, so how can this whole episode be set around supplying the south with silver?! (But since it is about supplying the south with silver, I assume it must be around 1861, right at the start of the war)
After the first season "Bonanza" slowed down a bit with those 'history lessons', so in the second one there isn't really anything that could suggest any particular date (apart from "The Courtship" and "Bank Run" that I mentioned earlier). And maybe events from the second season do actually happen in 1861, as the canonical chronology would like it to.
But then comes my beloved third season, and boi oh boi, does it make an even greater mess. In "The Frenchman" the title character (apparently a reincarnation of Francois Villion) reads his last poem and starts with:
So we go back in time now? How nice. October 17th 1860, they couldn't be more explicit with it.
Towards the end of the season, we also get a little throw back to Bonanza's history lessons with "Look to the Stars" which tells a story of young Albert Michelson, future physicist and a Nobel Prize winner, who happend to live in Virginia City somewhere in the 1860s. The episode specifically focuses on his efforts to become a student at the Annapolis Naval Academy, which he started in 1869, so we can assume that this episode takes place around 1868-69. That's again a long jump in time.
The fourth season gives us even more specific dates and events to go over. First of all, right at the beginning, we have "The First Born", personally one of my very favourites, but that's not important here. The important thing is that Clay tells Joe that he was fighting in a war in Mexico:
But you know, that war in Mexico was kinda spread over time (from 1861 to 1867) so just mentioning it isn't quite enough to give us a more narrow period of time. Fortunately, Clay later tells just enough detail to do it:
So it's not all over yet, it's just that moment when the royalists won and the French took over Mexico for a while. From my very general knowlege about this I can guess that it's somewhere after 1863 then. Not much though. I like to think it's 1863 or 1864.
But all right, that may be to much guessing. Let's focus on those more obvious hints.
"The War Comes to Washoe" is one of those episodes that mention the Civil War and this time it tells a story of Nevada becoming a state. There's that voting and all, and basically it means that it's 1864, because that is when Nevade became a state (or maby 1863, because from thet voting to actually becoming a state it could've been a longer process). Just like that.
But the one episode that surprised me the most with the fact that it gives us a specific date is "The Last Haircut". And you can miss it, but right at the beginning we see an interesting banner:
So it's February 2nd, 1868... Well, that was easy. But again, a huge jump in time.
The fifth season greets us with another completely nonsensical historical figure appearance in "A Passion for Justice". From what I know, Charles Dickens never went west during his visits to America, but whatever. They wanted Charles Dickens in Virginia City so they put Charles Dickens in Virginia City. For the record, he was in America in 1842 and in 1868, so I guess we can pretend it's his 1868 visit. But still, it's just absurd.
But this season is mostly known for it's Laura and Will subplots, and you know what? We can actually precisely tell when it takes place. At the beggining of "The Waiting Game" we see Laura's husband's grave:
And look! February 20th, 1861! So that's when it all started. Later Adam says that it's been four months since Frank died, so we have June 1861. Then in "The Pressure Game" they celebrate the 4th of July, and in "Triangle" it is said that it had been a year since Adam gave Peggy her pony so now it must be around June 1862. And since at this point it all conects to Will's subplot, then "Return to Honor", "The Roper" and "The Companeros" must've happen somewhere inbetween.
Meanwhile there's also "The Prime of Life" about building the transcontinental railroad, and since we know that it reached Reno in 1868, then I guess the episode must be set somewhere right before that.
And to top it all off, in the season's finale, "Walter and the Outlaws", we get that one useless piece of information that Obie had last seen his sister in 1843, and it's been 16 years since then. So by easy maths we can say that the episode is set in 1859, just like the show's pilot.
And that's all for the first five seasons. What we get form it, is that "Bonanza" diefinietly doesn't have any chronology and that this canonical one is just right out of the blue.
To sum it up I can say that this show is just made out of random Catwright's adventures from several years and in no chronological order whatsoever. It's funny when you start to think about it and for example realise that when the Laura/Will story takes place, many of the adventures from previous seasons hasn't even happen yet.
Of course there's also four prequels that tell the stories about Ben's wives, but I think I'll leave it for some other time, because while talking about it, I would also have to talk about the ages of each Cartwright and generally it's a whole different complicated subject.
Also, if now there are episodes happening as late as 1867 and 1868, then when exactly did Adam leave the Ponderosa? Well that's something I'll have to think about while watching the 6th season. I hope there will be some answers to that.
[English isn't my first language so please excuse any mistakes. And I know there must be some.]

Headcanon abt Prussia’s psychology and historical relationship with Poland underthe cut. I hope you like it :)
Fact: The Polish-Teutonic wars were a series of military conflicts that started in 1308 when Teutonic Order took over polish city of Gdańsk (Danzing) and annexed it (event is knows as Slaughter of Danzing). After that came the first Teutonic War, in which the Order won Pomerelia from Poland. It was the beggining of larger Polish-Teutonic conflict that lasted for over 200 years and some following wars include:
- The second Teutonic War, a conflictr that took place between 1409 (when the Grand Master declared war on Poland and Lithuania) and 1411 when the conflict ended with Battle Of Grunewald. Teutonic Order lost and had to retreat, then manage to withstand the Siege of Malbork. The Knights did survive the defeat, but they never again gained their previous influence and power, while Poland-Lithuania was established as one of main powers in Central Europe. After wiki: "Most of the brothers of the Order were killed (during the final battle), including most of the Teutonic leadership". Many Teutonic fortresses were taken over and only eight castles reminded in Teutonic hands after this conflict. - The Thirteen Years' War, when the Order's Prussian territories began a revolt against the Order and asked Poland for help. Poland was like ‘hell yeah, let me make this my problem!’ and Prussian Confederacy/Kingdom of Poland truce was created. This war ended with the Knights losing and having to give up Western Prussia to Poland. - The Polish–Teutonic War 0f 1519–1521 that ended with a treaty of Kraków - this treaty resulted in parts of Order's Prussian territories becoming secularized as the Duchy of Prussia under polish rule (4 years later). This was sealed by the Prussian Homage of 10 April. There were more conflicts between 1308 and 1521, but I don't want to write an entire book here, so I reccomend the Polish-Teutonic War site on wiki, it has a pretty comprehensive list :). So in super short oversimplified terms, as I understand it: The wars started at the beginning of the 14th century with Teutonic aggression and lasted for over 200 years, during which Poland and the Order pretty much became THE RIVALS. The turning point was the battle of Grunwald when the Order lost a lot of its power, but still had some fight in it. It ended with Teutonic Knights secularizing and becoming a vassal state to Poland. This of course completely turned upside down after Prussia became independent again, got the status of a Kingdom and pretty much whipped Poland off the map in 1700s for 100 years, so I guess Prussia never forgets (which is one of my fav HCs for him xD).
Headcanon:
So my most obvious headcanon that comes from this is the hate/hate relationship that Poland and Prussia have. I believe they really can't stand each other and view each other as enemies. Their whole history is pretty much one somehow dominating the other or attempting to dominate him - from the Teutonic Wars, through Prussia becoming Poland’s vassal and then tables turning and Prussia (& Austria & Russia) partitioning Poland into nonexistence & and the Germanization that followed, until WW2 when they also fought. It’s a pattern.
It's like they live for revenge and each revenge has to be more brutal and dramatic than what happened before. It’s a snowball of anger that escalates. And I HC that yes, all of this was seen by both of them as revenge for the previous hurts and both of them believe the other deserved it for what he did before. The difference between them is that Poland views himself mostly as the victim that fights back (due to Polish martyrology culture, which is strong in the historical nation narrative [The Christ of Nations, etc], and the general belief in the “Germanic Aggressor”) and Prussia sees himself as the conqueror who has been humiliated by someone lesser (due to his general lack of empathy for those he sees as victims, so he would never cast himself as one, he himself wants to be casted as the aggressor, as to him this position means power and agency).
Prussia can never get why Poland kinda glorifies himself as the Victim and The Martyr (an important element of Poland’s identity), as to him that makes no sense, being a victim is pathetic, right? and Poland can't understand why Prussia glorifies himself as the conqueror as to him he's just a bloody tyrant so why would you be proud of that, right?
They see value in different things to the most basic level, which makes communications very hard - and both of them see value in things that end up being destructive to them, bc both the ‘Might is Right!’ and the ‘My suffering makes me SpEcIaL!’ thinking is not healthy. They are both messed up, just differently. But the way they are messed up kinda... makes them the perfect enemies and makes it easy to escalate conflict. They fit in this very pathological way, when Poland needs to “suffer” for his national identity of the Martyr of Europe to make sense and he needs someone to cast as the aggressor, while Prussia needs to attack and conquer to see himself as the badass powerhouse of Europe he wants to be. They are like the perfect toxic relationship - they bring out the worst in each other due to their specific world-view quircks, so it kinda makes sense that their history is so bad.
But my second less-obvious headcanon is:
Prussia began the Teutonic Wars with the slaughter of Danzing because he was young, ambitious and very impulsive. Gilbert has a hot temperament and a strong desire to be active - and he did exactly that, without really thinking through the ramifications of attacking a big established country while being just a young Knights Order. You can see this on macro scale in the Teutonic Wars and on micro scale in the Battle on lake Pejpus where he charged on a frozen lake. He was so into attacking that he never even considered the environment. The thing is, this failures (and his hot temper!) almost killed him. He literally almost died due to the lost wars, lost most of his power and had to completely re-invent himself from a military crusading catolic Knights Order into a secularized Duchy just to SURVIVE and ended up under the Polish boot for years. His biggest enemy’s boot. And he needed to kneel in front of him. This is IMO an incredibly important moment for how his further development went. The Ordnung Muss Sein discipline-is-key culture and the strategic mindfulness that become a second nature to him start here, when he almost dies because of his reckless actions. It also ingrained a sense of deep humiliation connected to the Prussian Homage that only installed the need for power EVEN MORE. Before he wanted power because he hated the feeling that he is less important than Actual Counties and believed he was given unfairly bad cards by being born without land. Now tho there's an extra motive: fear. Fear of being subjugated. And revenge. This kick started the process of creation of Kingdom of Prussia as we know it - so the transition from a wild-child-Order that just went with the flow and threw himself into battle on literal iced-over lake, into a very calculating, rational thinking soldier who assesses the room and everyone in it at the moment he enters and is hyper aware of all the environment and situation that accompanies his conflicts. So I guess the short version is: Prussia is very disciplined and controls his anger very well but that's not how he always was. He’s a powerful force of nature, a wildfire, that is being reigned in by the self-imposed diligent soldier discipline in order not self destruct. It becomes his second nature, he becomes the Machine, bc if he stayed the Wild Child he started as, he would have perished and he is aware of that. So this explains why he is so merciless about his discipline and order - it’s not just a preference he has, on a more primal level it’s about survival to him. Natural tendencies still sometimes slip through, especially when he's tired, drunk or in any way vulnerable. I like to HC that you can hear the more crazy part of him when he laughs - it's such a loud, boisterous, overwhelming laughter that it does not seem to fit his cold, diligent matter-of-fact soldier-persona at all. It's bc what's inside is spilling out in the laughter. You can also see it when he parties ;)
You can also see it in violent outbursts of anger that happen when he is REALLY on edge. They are kinda scary. But most of his ‘anger outbursts’ (and wars) are calculated and planned to get his way with minimal consequences. The truth is, he feels like he failed himself whenever he really looses control.
My other HC about Gil as Teutonic Knghts can be found here, here, here and here if you like my rambly takes :)

Season 1 Episode 6: A Fanatic Heart [Part Two]
I mean Fara is doing her best to be a good leader but I'm still pretty convinced she's going to die
FakeMusa is doing her best and I support her
Actually fuck OFF Terra you have NO RIGHT to ask that of her, much less EXPECT it
Also just a lil bit of FakeMusa analysis, she is not only feeling her boyfriend dying, but also all of the pain and terror and regret and anger of everyone else in that room. Of fucking COURSE she's going to get overwhelmed
Also also imma say she like, felt the death of her parents or something because that's been a building subplot all series
"He's in pain" ...so you want FakeMusa to feel it instead. Wow real good friendship there, Terra
Also it's bad enough that Terra's asking this, but for her dad, a TEACHER, to ask this of a first year who hasn't even learnt that technique yet, is fucking ridiculous
Called that
Well they kept the Musa Dead Mum plot... and now I'm upset
Don't FUCKING touch her Terra. People shouldn't have to expose their trauma to be allowed to say no - FakeMusa needs a hug but NOT from you. You want to talk about consent issues? Because this whole subplot is a big fucking red flag.
The one thing Fate got right - which I am certain wasn't intentional - is the neurodivergent coding of Musa. Like, the headphones to block out painful or too much stimuli is actually really well done (hence why I think it was an accident)
Sorry was Terra actually unbarricading the door? Sacrifice the many for the few is it, Terra?
Oh shit it JUST wants Bloom
Fara Bloom literally TOLD you they were just after her
I'm actually so mad that FakeMusa is negotiating her personal boundaries due to an adult and her supposed friend bullying a child
Oh Bloom's floating. Okay. We don't have the budget for wings but the fire fairy can float for no apparent reason
FUCK OFF SHE ACTUALLY JUST GOT FIRE WINGS FUCK OFF THAT'S ACTUALLY WORSE THAN NO ONE GETTING THEM OH MY GOD AT LEAST STICK TO YOU OWN SHITTY WRITING RULES
Why are some of them super easy to kill and others take like... a whole thing
Oh shit she can turn them back into people. Right okay, feel like that should have come up sooner
Dowling is such a good mother and I'm so afraid she's going to die. There's way too much time left for nothing else to happen and Rosalind is just rocking about
FARA LOOKS PROUD AND SHOCKED BY HERSELF OH NO I'M SCARED
Sorry Terra that crossed a line. I actively hate you.
Oh Beatrix just fully lied about being an orphan, she has a dad
Oh no he's not her bio dad
So Riven and Dane are villains with Roz now. Right
"Cooler?! I love Tinkerbell!" "Of course you do" good friend banter but I despise Terra now so can someone else have banter with Stella instead?
Aisha you didn't even introduce yourself how would Bloom's parents know who's talking to them
"Bloom transformed" no she fucking didn't she got shitty fire wings that have made me SO ANGRY. That's not a transformation it DOESN'T COUNT
None of you are considering the possibility that the whole "Blood witches" thing was a lie? No? Eveyone just tells the truth all the time always, even Rosalind?? Right okay. I hate this bullshit show
Also you canNOT just throw in a term like "blood witches" in the last fucking episode. That's a fucking joke Weed Boy
Sky is having Sad Boy Hours
Ooh a Sad Boy montage
See Bloom's going to talk with Dowling and I feel like it's going to go badly because NO ONE IS LOOKING FOR ROSALIND
Bloom is finally being open and honest with Dowling and accepting her as a mother figure so she's DEFINATELY going to die. These death flags are waving in my fucking face
BLOOM ASKING FOR A HUG AND FARA'S LITTLE FACE OH MY GOD I'M SCREAMING THIS IS SO SAD AND CUTE
Also from Fara's face: when was the last time she got a hug oh my god
AWWW THIS IS SO SOFT AND SAD
FARA IS FUCKING CRYING OH MY GODDD
That's just not what a figurehead is. You wanted to becime a symbol. There's a rather large and important difference
THE REASON FARA'S UPSET IS BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T WANT TO BE SO UNAPPROCHABLE THAT BLOOM HAD TO ASK FOR A HUG SO UNCERTAINLY OH MY GOD
I'm so angry that she's getting this development now. In the last 20 fucking minutes of the season
SHE BROUGHT THE WHOLE SQUAD BACK HOME LMAO MIKE'S FACE
Stella is so awkward and cute I love her why didn't we get HER FROM THE BEGGINNING
Also if this important conversation happens off screen I will feel robbed
And it's happened off screen. That is bull-fucking-shit
Sad montage of their baby... yikes
Oh the mother is leaving. #NotMyVanessa
This montage is bullshit I wanted a CONVERSATION
Okay but the Winx actually acting like friends is cute
So Riven and Dane went missing the night the school was attacked and no one's seen them and you just... aren't worried about these literal children? What kind of bitch-ass school...
Oh the Solarian army has FINALLY arrived
Stella ain't here lads
Oh fuck OFF Queen Nightlight
You're arresting Silva??
Sorry there is literally NO fucking way Sky's dad is alive. I mean he clearly is and is clearly Beatrix's dad but that makes no sense. Shit writing at it's shittest
Stella's mum is CLEARLY involved in this shady shit
Also what kind of justice system...?
Hello there Bitchboy King
Fara vibing with the freshly burried corpses
Okay Rosalind is here and I'm scared for Fara's safety
Also apparently no one was aware the Burned Ones used to be people. I had assumed that was common knowledge but apparently that was supposed to be a secret reveal at the end that I worked out... so long ago. Come on lads
Also also I'm so scared because Sword Dad is being arrested and now Fara is alone with Rosalind and I feel like Fara is going to get murdered and replaced by Rosalind while Sword Dad is replaced by Sky's Dad
Oh Rosalind knew about the Burned Ones being people
Rosalind is a really good villain but she scares me and also her actress is still shit
The dragonfire is now the "Dragon Flame" and created the Burned Ones. I just. I'm so out of fucks to give
And Bloom has it too. Shook
Of course she risked kids to test Bloom - have you MET this woman she's shady as fuck
Dowling is talking about how she finally saw the light when she stepped out of Rosalind's shadow and clearly this a whole "I've escaped your abuse" thing and I'm so happy for her. And also terrified because she's definately about to die
If I leave this on pause Fara doesn't have to get murdered
And Queen Exposed Wire is in fact a part of the coverup. Shocked
I like that Rosalind is explaining everything. I genuinely do appriciate a good villain monologue
FARA DON'T GET AGGRESSIVE WITH HER SHE'S GOING TO KILL YOU STOP I DON'T WANT YOU TO DIE
DON'T WALK AWAY FROM HER OH MY GOD YOU THREATENED HER THEN TURNED YOUR BACK SHE CAN AND WILL KILL YOU FARA WHY DO YOU THINK SHE'S ABOVE THIS
I'm so fucking upset. She just. Snapped her neck. Lifted her up and murdered her. I'm actually on the verge of tears it was so brutal. I cannot believe they made me care about Fara in the last fucking episode only to KILL HER OFF
Did she just speed-rot Fara's body?? I'm so upset. I'm so fucking upset
And now all the Winx who were actually happy and getting along are coming back to this shitshow
Brian Young is a fucking criminal. Thank fuck that's over

list of comics i made so far
i already shared the list of all the novels i tried to write throughout my llife so i see no reason why not to do the same with the comics i tried to work on. no i should clarify, with my lists of novels there was a clear cut distinction between what was a novel and a short story so to parse one from the other was an easy task. it should be known that i wrote hundreds of shorts stories that i havent shared with anyone. now a similar situation occurs with my comics, i have done hundreds upon hundreds of little comics, short jokes, little skits and short lived strips through my life, so in order to give this list some weight and not make it longer than the bible the criteria i used was that it had to be something i did on a regular basis or that tells a self contained story with a beggining middle and end.
now without further ado, lets begin!
spike Vanderville (age 7)
you can tell i was way more into comics than i was into novels from a young age. done with pen and folded paper, it was the story about a young kid called spike, whose design was heavily inspired by bradley from sticking around, who had magical powers which allowed him to manipulate reality. it was a mix of harry potter and a series of illustrates short stories that came in a magazine in argentina. his best friend was a scarecrow with a pumpkin head that he had brought to life, his archnemesis was a fat bully.
curiously enough i was so passionate about this project even though i had no idea what i was doing and no talent that i actually did like three full colored issues of it. my family was really proud of me. sadly those comics are completly lost to time
andrew and the monkey (age 10)
this was the classical story about a boy and his best friend the talking animal. one page comedy strips done in pen and paper. nothing too clever, just a way for me to try lame jokes mostly stolen from spongebob squarepants. not much else to it. i tried to do like a revamp in 2014 but it was short lived, as you can see the jokes didnt get any less lame
FIP industries (age 17)
mostly done in digital. yes as you can see fip is something that has followed me my whole life in quite the variety of mediums. there were as a matter of fact multiple attempts to make this comic a real thing but time and again they would peter off as i saw that my skill was just not up to the task. i think i have talked more than enough about fip industries on this blog, one interesting thing is that if you follow the link you will come across a lot of proto ideas that i had before they cemented and took their definite shape in the novel (and even after the novel i kept retconning and retooling things over and over again, fip industries is an ongoing thing that will probably last my entire lifetime)
Disregarding Reality I (age 20)
the first iteration of disregarding reality, a humorous strip done in pencil and paper, a fairly short lived affair, lasting no more than 3 months. the entire premise of the comic was an MRA activist and a feminist live together, they are friends, they argue a lot. remember 2013 guys? back when this whole politics bullshit truly kicked off online? this was before gamer gate, mind you. but by that point i had seen more than enough of it on tumblr and i was like “someone should do some scathing commentary with wit and penache” and that someone had to be me. mainly inspired by commics like f@nboys and el goonish hive and a thousand billion others that were so popular back in those halcyon days.
i got bored of it pretty quickly and it wouldnt be until three years later than i would finally decide to re-start the project but until then...
Strangers in the forest (age 21)
here comes a rather productive era in my ouvre, ink and paper, based on a short story i wrote, its about an eldritch monster pretending to be human and a ghost girl, killed by her father. they have a dispute because the monster wants to eat the corpse of the girl but the ghost doesnt want to give up her bones because its the one thing that tethers her to the mortal plane. they eventually resolve their dispute. by this point i was actually, unironically trying my best to do comics which i felt looked professional.
Song of a nightmare (age 21)
another one based on a short story i wrote. ink and paper, a private detective wakes up in the middle of the night and sees a mermaid lying in bed next to him. he spends most of the comic trying to figure out how the hell is this possible. still one of my favourite ones and certainly one of my family’s and friends favourites as well. a rather poetic tale, strongly inspired by argentinian fiction and their propensity towards magical realism, i was reading a lot of cortazar back then.
Aika (age 21)
as you can tell i was on a fucking roll that year. ink and paper, this was a story based upon a simple and basic idea that i had in my mind for years and years. i always liked the concept behind the movie “the kid” where bruce willis mysteriously comes across himself as a kid. so of course one day i came up with the idea, what if you recieved a visit from your future self... but she was a woman?
this is probably the most aggresively trans story i ever wrote in my life, it is literally about a guy realizing they are trans and breaking down over it. here is the giant kicker, i did not realize at all what i was doing. i was completly unaware of what was going on here, i was still deep deep in the closet and not even realizing i was there. it really is astounding the honesty and the rawness with which i wrote this comic and it went all over my head. a perfect example of “im such a great ally lol”
oh also there is time travel i guess. my main impetus (beyond whatever my subconcious was forcing me to do) was my desire to make a complete clusterfuck of a story, i was a huge fan of homestuck, i had read fleek and demon, i wanted to do my own take on a hypercomplicated time travel puzzle plot. other things came out on top of it but i didnt noticed them. fucking hilarious
Hello Agatha (age 21)
a comedic strip about a wacky pixie dream girl having wacky adventures with her wacky friends, one of which is a man with a toilet for a head. what a gut buster, what a knee slapper!
there is not much to say about this one, wacky surreal comedy was always my favourite and so time and again i would try my hand at it but it is surprisingly hard to do!
The /co/ ventures! (age 20 - age25)
an ongoing project done in multiple mediums. i think i said more than enough about this in here and here. it was me practiscing comics, practiscing my humor and adding my tiny grain of sand to the 4chan culture. i am proud to say these comics were actually very well liked there and that i would be recognized without a name or signature of any kind, just on the strength of my style.
the vest kind of madness (age 22)
probably one of the projects in which i put the biggest amount of effort to make it look professional. traditional inks and digital colors. a crossover that i cant believe never happened in comics considering how obvious it is. Rac Shade, the changing man and delirium of the endless, the two flagship vertigo characters associated with madness. clearly a match made in heaven.
to this day im flabbergasted i seem to be the only one to think of this.
Disregarding Reality II (age 23)
another work where i have already spilled rivers of bytes explaining my thought process behind it. after having a no good, terrible, very bad day, finding my self aimless and without purpose, deep in denial and depression, i decided to give my self a big project to have something to get me out of bed every day. these three guys came from the depths of my mind to save me.
this time leaning a lot more on silly humor and surrealism than political commentary, still insanely proud of how much i managed to make this last, almost three years, well over 200 pages! and in here i found the inspiration and the creative energy to tackle all sorts of diverse projects of which we are about to see all about.
Mama Bird (age 24)
my masterpiece.
by far the best comic i ever did. a kid with a bird for a mom. hilarious, touching, heartbreaking. it was a concept that i had come up with when i was 21. back then it was supposed to be exclusively a humorous comic strip but then i found a dramatic angle for the story and that was when everything clicked into place. that was when i realized this was a comic i had to do. and i did it. it took me five months but it was well worth it. still insanely proud of this one
Soft boys (age 25)
a weird experimental little story where i decided to sit down and deconstruct one of the most popular superpowers. super elasticity. more akin to me just mashing my toys against each other than me trying to tell a serious story. i am actually really happy with some of the art here and some of the sequences presented. particularly the final one where a brick joke twenty pages in the making finally pays off.
Hexen Snatch (age 25)
a semi spinoff to my novel FIP industries, we focus on a side character that managed to survive after the events of the novel and how they’ll manage to survive further beyond that. insanely soaked by the magical world of pact by widbow i wanted desperatly to share my own take on magic, every page is accompanied by a little text where i expand upon the lore and the way magic is supposed to work on this world. i really like the prose on those snippets and the ideas they work almost more that the comic itself with which i was not happy at all when i was working on it. i didnt like the character design, i didnt like how the art in general was coming out, i didnt like the pacing of the story or how superficially we were getting to expore this world in the comic proper. i had to take a very long hiatus just to accumulate the will to finish the comic and once i did i feel it really petered off without much of a satisfying payoff.
on some level i blame the exhaustion and frustration that i came out of this comic with for the fact that i ended up quitting disregarding reality soon afterwards.
Maxplosive (age 26)
another project that has followed me across multiple mediums. came up with an idea for a videogame back in 2015. saved it on the back pocket for a while, used it as a story within a story on my novel fan.tastic, practisced a couple of animations with the characters and eventually decided that, if my skills at videogame making were not enough, i had at least more than poven myself as a comic artist so maybe that was the definitive medium in which this idea would have to exist.
the original idea was to tell the story in two parts, the first half would introduce the character and the videogame as if the comic was a playthrough of the game. all fun and childlike and innocent. then the second half was meant to explore the life of the main character as an adult, how being “a videogame protagonist” had ruined her body, her mental health and her life. i tried all sorts of weird stuff with the format here, using reciclable assets, static camera angles and generally presenting the whole thing as if it was a videogame.
sadly the project got too big for my breaches, i was fucking exhausted back then, swamped with a bunch of other projects, my job, other responsabilities, unsatisfied with the story and with no idea where to take it. eventually i got tired, decided to skip a day, then the day became a week and then the week became a month and by then i had to face the facts, i was just no longer able to continue the comic. and so i quit not only maxplosive but disregarding reality all together.
i still did the occasional comic here and then but it wouldnt be until the very end of 20-fucking-20 that i was finally inspired to tackle a new project, my newest one, my last one....
Lapsarian (age 27)
an interesting experiment, i decided to do the whole comic in one sit and then post it chapter by chapter on a weekly basis. a surprising result of this was that i managed to do in one month the same amoung of pages that would have taken me 5 months back when i started disregarding reality, is good to see that after al this time i still got it.
took me a while to get the hang of it again and find my own style once more but once i armed up it was smooth sailing for 40 pages all the way to the end. but what is this comic even about?
its... weird, with full disclosure and no shame, it is mostly a fetish story about big lizard creatures commiting vore. the milkman had already shown me that i could do those types of stories and no lighting would come from the heavens to strike me down so i said, why not as a comic? i like to think that beyond the fetish content it is still a decent story in its own right, an interesting feedback that i got from this is that people are suprised how earnest it is, one saying something like “this is the best pitch for a fetish that i was never interested in”
Conclussion:
looking back on this im surprised, turns out i was a lot more prolific and working a lot more regularly than i expected, in here are documented ten years of creative output that never seems to wane. it was fun to do the roundabout trip and see how my style, my technice and generally my work ethic evolved through the years. another nice thing to see is the multiple formats, the multiple tools and mediums i experimented with, i find myself constantly trying new things, new methods, new angles, new interesting ideas for how to make a comic (without even getting into what to make a comic about).
something i always knew about myself was that drawing is a fundamental part of who i am, it is something that just cant be taken away from me and that will always be a part of my life one way or the other, is good to see it so plainly, in black and white, on this list. here goes for what i might be able to do in the future

Run Away (One - At the beggining)
Pairing: Steve Rogers x Avenger! Reader
Summary: You and Steve complete each other. Your love is that strong and devoted kind of love that pushes people to things like marriage, making a family. You couldn't imagine that a baby would be something you really wished, until the possibility wasn't your choice anymore.
Warnings: mentions of sex, swearing, pregnancy talk, sadness, LIKE A LOT, badly written medical diagnosis, FLUFF, cheesy af, feels (im sorry this one's a little emotional k)
Word Count: 3316
A/n: I don’t know why this idea came to me, honestly. One day I just stopped and asked myself, why do actually people decide to have kids? At first I didn’t really understand, I always saw around that parents made a big deal of the idea of it. The whole pregnancy, having a baby to ‘show’ around and such without realizing that said baby will become an actual human being that you’ll have to educate. Which I still think is the case for some people, I’m not gonna lie. But then, thinking a bit more about it, seeing people really in love, and that want to spend the rest of their lives with each other wish to form a family because that’s something that they want to kind of experience and grow together. But honestly Idk, I mean, I don’t have any experience so I could be saying a lot of bullshit. Something that did inspire me tho is the song ‘Run away’ by Ben Platt, so being a little undecided on how to name this, I decided to pay tribute to this beautiful song. But still, I hope you’ll enjoy this. Also, making a multi-chapter series it’s a first for me, keep that in mind.
(gif not mine)
Steve will always remember the first time he saw you. You were a new recruit for the avengers team, you came from SHIELD and were one of the best, so Fury decided to add you to the heroes’ team.
You didn't need any superpower because you already were a force of nature of your own. Skilled in combat, a perfect spy, spoke eight languages, could aim a target and get the middle of it with closed eyes.
That day Steve was going to the gym with Bucky and when they arrived to the gym, they saw you. There you were. You wore a catsuit like Natasha's, all black and tight. Damn tight. Your fit but shapely body wrapped around that leather like it was made for it. And that's what Steve saw first, mainly because you two girls were moving in a sort of quick but graceful dance, shooting at simulation targets around the room.
And then all of a sudden you stopped, the simulation ending, and started to laugh. You gave Nat your guns and turned around. That's when Steve knew, he just knew that he was doomed. Your smile was the most beautiful thing that he'd ever seen. Your sharp but sweet features, your hair hair tied up in a ponytail with just a few strands of hair down in the corners of your angelic face.
When you saw them you stopped laughing, not having realized their presence, and smiled shyly. Steve was literally melting.
-Hey fellas. I'd like to introduce you to one of my best friends and best agents I know, Y/n. She's the new recruit sent by Fury.- Natasha came back without the guns while the two men edged closer.
-Hey there. Welcome to the team, i'm- - Bucky offered his hand, which you took gladly.
-Bucky Barnes, yeah not exactly a stranger.- you joked smiling, he returned the smile.
Steve was still looking at you, not realizing that it would've probably scared you off, but instead you offered your hand to him too, locking eyes.
-Y/n. I guess you must be Captain Rogers.- you teased with a smirk. He cleared his throat and shook your hand.
-Uh, yes. It's a pleasure Y/n.- he breathed out giving you a little smile.
-All mine.- you responded, he chocked on his spit widening his eyes for a moment. Bucky was trying not to burst out laughing for how awkward his best friends was being, meanwhile Nat was looking at him like he was an alien.
-P-pardon?- he coughed out. You frowned a little biting your lip to stop smiling.
-The pleasure to meet you, captain. All mine.- you explained.
-Yeah, obviously. Uhm, alright see you, uhm.. later I guess. Welcome, again. Oh, call me Steve, please.- he blurted scratching his neck with his hand. You smiled sweetly.
-Thank you, Steve.- his name rolled on your tongue so perfectly that made him think of a few different scenarios, but before he could embarass himself further he gave a slap on Bucky's back, making him jolt forward in surprise.
-What the f-- he looked at the blonde with confusion.
-C'mon Buck, we have to take take of that business.- he basically dragged him towards the door.
-What business?- he furruwed his eyebrows.
-Fury's goddamn business, now hurry the fuck up.- he smiled through gritted teeth and whispered the last part.
And like that they left the gym. The two girls looked at each other and bursted out laughing.
-They seem nice.- you commented, cossing your arms.
-They are. But i'm gonna be honest, i've never seen Steve so flustered before. You must have left him quite, interested.- she marked the last word. You looked at her confused and she wiggled her eyebrows suggestively.
-Oh, for god's sake, Nat. He just met me, and i'm really nothing special. He's fucking Captain America, c'mon.- you rolled your eyes. She rose an eyebrow.
-Okay, if you say so. But it's true, what I said before. Also, you're a bomb, so shut it.-
-
Yeah. You gave that day exactly a month before you found yourself pressed against the wall, with Steve’s lips on your neck and moans spilling from your mouth.
-I've wanted to do this since the moment I saw you in that goddamn suit in the gym.- he muttered in between kisses. You smiled, taking his face in your hands, forcing him to look at you.
-Well, i'm glad you finally took a stand, cap.- he groaned and kissed you feverishly.
You ended up spending the night together, and when in the morning you woke before him, you started to dress yourself up, but he grabbed your wrist gently, making you turn to look at him.
He was really a sight. Dirty blonde hair a mess, bright blue eyes still sleepy, mouth curled in a smirk and his features soft. And cherry on top, he was stark naked, the sheets covering just above his groin. It really took all your mental strenght to not jump on him right then and there.
-Hey handsome.- you said lowly before continuing to get dressed. You put on your nude lace bra and panties before slipping on the simple dress that you wore the evening before. Tony had organized a little get together, nothing too fancy luckly.
-Where are you going?- Steve said, getting up. He put his boxers on, walking close to you. You looked down.
-Back to my room?- you asked rethorically. Steve stayed silent for a couple of minutes. You looked up again and saw that he looked a little hurt.
-You regret...tonight?- he muttered and your heart sank.
-What?- you asked.
-Did...did I do something wrong?- you shook your head. You were kind of confused by his behaviour. He just wanted a one night stand right? Or that's what you thought.
-No!- you exclaimed quickly -No, no, why do you say that? I mean..you don't- you don't want me to go?- this time it was his turn to be confused.
-What? No! I..I mean if you regret it or just consider it a one time thing, then I'm never gonna talk about that again, but-
-Was it, for you?- you interrupted him. He looked at you.
-Not for me, no. But if you want we can forget ab- you interrupted him again, this time with a kiss. You latched your arms aroud his neck and he hugged your waist tight. You kissed for a few seconds and then parted to breathe.
-I take it as a no?- he smirked and you chuckled.
-
The team almost threw a party when you said that you were officially together a copule months after. They all saw the chemistry between the two of you, plus Bucky and Nat were finally free from both your rambling about the other. Months passed and you and Steve became closer and more in love every day, so exactly one year after, he proposed to you. Needless to say that you said yes.
After a few months from the wedding you had some things in your mind. You and Steve always used protection in the first six months of your relationship, but then you just stopped. At first it had been a silly and quite risky decision, but then you noticed that no problem had come up, so you didn't thought about it anymore.
But now, you were actually married, in love, and you both wanted children. You didn't actually decided to try, but it was in the air. And the fact that neither of you came up with the prevention stuff actually confirmed it.
So while doing a little reckoning you realized that it was a bit more than a year that you were having unprotected sex, and nothing happended. Sometimes all it takes is just one time to 'fuck up', but...you didn't knew what was bothering you. So one day you decided to ask Bruce for advice. He was a doctor after all.
So you did just that. You went to the labs’ floor in the avengers tower and asked Friday in which one he was.
-Doctor Banner is in the biology lab with mr. Stark right now, mrs. Rogers.-
-Thank you Friday.- you headed to the biology lab and knocked, then came in. The two men smiled at you.
-Hey Y/n. Friday informed me that you wanted to see me?- Bruce asked sweetly. You nodded, stepping closer. They were busy with some papers and Tony was handling some files in hologram form.
-Yes. Uhm, can we talk alone? Or maybe I can come back later if you want.- Tony closed the files with a swirl of his hand and shook his head.
-Don't worry sugar, it's nothing that can't wait. I'm gonna grab a coffe in the meantime. Banner?- he squeezed gently your shoulder before heading to the door. The doctor shook his head, removing his glasses.
-I'm okay.- Tony nodded and closed the door after him. Bruce invited you to sit on a stool near him. You did and then took a deep breath. He was waiting, and also a little worried from the look you had on your face.
-Okay, first of all, I know that it's not your field and I actually came to you for medical advice so, uhm..if you're not comfortable- you started to ramble a bit, and that's when he placed his hand on yours. You looked up at him.
-Y/n, I am a doctor, but first, I'm your friend. Also, in the last years I dealt with many things that weren't exactly in my field, so there's a little left to surprise me.- he gave you a lopsided smile.
You bit your lip nervously. You weren't this shy and awkward usually, quite the opposite actually. You trusted Bruce with your life, but speaking with him about your sex life wasn't really on top of the list. Also you wore a sort of armor made of irony and cold minded decisions, but the truth is that when things came to a more personal level it made you uncomfortable. That's why you were going to leave Steve after your first night together in the first place. To try and protect yourself before others made you.
-Okay. Uhm.- you swallowed hard before talking. -I'm starting to wonder if there's, you know, something wrong with me.- he frowned.
-A little more specific, please.-
-I'm starting to think that I'm infertile.- you said just above to a whisper. Bruce remained quite surprised. He didn't really know what to expect, but he didn't expect that. His features softened and he concentrated, trying to remeber the few lessons that he attended in college.
-Oh. Okay, first of all, how are things between you and Steve?- he asked, knowing that you would understand what he meant.
-We are fine. We were using uhm.. condoms until a few months before the wedding, but since then we stopped. I made a few countings and it's a bit over than a year, circa.- he nodded, narrowing his eyes a little, thinking.
-Okay. And nothing happened? Like a false alarm, symptoms of some kind? Your periods are regualr?- you shook your head.
-No, nothing happened, and that's actually the reason that I'm here. And no, I'm quite regualr, I suffer a lot the first cuple of days, but that's normal.- you shrugged. He nodded again.
-But, are you two actually trying to have a baby? Or it's just a doubt of yours?-
-Well, we did talk about kids a long time ago, and it's kinda why we stopped taking precautions, but no, we are not organized or nothing.-
-But you want to.- he says, more like a statement than a question. You bite your lip, realizing that you might cry.
-Yes.- you confess.
-Okay, listen Y/n. You're right, it's not exactly my field, but I can ask to a trusted person that I know for advice. I know already that we'll have to do at least a couple of ecographies, and It must be while you have your period.-
-It should arrive in a few days actually, next week maximum.- you say, looking at your hands in your lap. You were already feeling a little pain in your lower belly and you were hungry all the time, so it was quite certain.
-Alright. I'm gonna make a call, and then I'll tell you what we have to do.- you nod and raise from the stool.
-Thank you, Bruce.- you smiled a little, trying to hide your worry.
-Of course. If I can ask, does Steve know?- you feared that he would ask, but you shook your head anyways.
-No. I want to know first. It may be just a preoccupation of mine and I wouldn't want to upset him. Also, please, this stays between us.-
-Don't worry, this is safe with me.-
-
Bruce asked you to come in the infirmary five days after your conversation. You were in the first couple of days of your period, like he asked. You came down from your room to the lab and Friday let you in.
-Hi.- you saluted Bruce that turned from the ecography machine and smiled.
-Hey sweetheart. You okay?-
-Yeah, just feeling a little shitty. Usual pain.- you shrug.
-I'm sorry.- he said softly -Please open your hoodie, raise your shirt and unbutton your pants.- he asks calmly. You do as he says while he puts on latex gloves. You hop on the medical couch and wait, hands resting on your chest.
-Okay. So, I spoke to this old colleague which is a gynecologist. She told me that, like I said, we have do to two ecographies. The first at the beggining of the period, and the second at the end. Then I will send her the results, and if there's something else to do, we will. Or it may be that everything's fine and it will end there. At that point you should talk to Steve about an ovulation schedule, that doesn't sound romantic at all- he chuckled a bit -But it could help.- he explained. You nodded, silently.
-For now let's stick to this. Sorry, the gel's a little cold.- you didn't really felt it when he applied it though. A trained spy sure isn’t scared off by some sold gelatine. He started to examin your lower belly, remaining silent. A few minutes later he cleaned the tool and put in his place.
-Here are some paper towels, clean up and you can dress up.- he palced his hand on your shoulder for a second. He had a calming effect, and you couldn't be more greatful for it.
You cleaned yourself from the gel and stood to button up your pants. He was writing something on the laptop, but then he directed to you his attention.
-You okay?- you nodded.
-Good. Well, that's it. We'll have another in...four days?- you responded with an okay, thanked him and went out.
While you were going towards the kitchen, you heard a few laughs and considered to turn your heels, not in the mood, but a voice stopped you.
-Hey doll, how you doin'?- Bucky jogged towards you smiling. He always called you that, for affection and also to piss Steve off, but you didn't mind at all. You loved Bucky. You became fast friends in the moment you arrived. That's why as soon as he was less than a few feet away you started to cry. His smile dropped and his brows knitted in worry. He came to you and enclosed you in his arms. You face on his chest, sobbing.
-What happened? Sshh, honey. C'mon, let's go somewhere a little private.- He looked around and you both stepped in the elevator and he pressed the button for the private rooms floor.
You arrived and he lead you to your and Steve's shared room, you press your hand on the handle and it opens automatically, thanks to your fingerprints.
Bucky closes the door and you sit on the bed. You hold out a hand for him and he takes it. You both lay down on the bed while he hugs you.
-What's wrong honey? Uh?- he asks softly. Someone could say that it's not that normal for you to stay that close to him, being married to another man, but it wasn't the case. You considered Bucky like a big brother-best friend, he cared too much about Steve and you to even do something bad. He even cried like a baby the day of your wedding. You all teased him for months for it and he just said that pollen was making him lacrimate. But he actually told you that he was happy, and that no one more than you two deserved to be happy.
-I'm just a little stressed. Also, my belly fucking hurts. I need to cuddle but my husband's away on a mission. Again.- you sniffed, and snuggled closer to his chest, he tightened his grip a little.
-I'm sorry sweetheart.- he said. After a few seconds he tried to move, and your head snapped up.
-Where are you going?- he got out of the bed.
-I'm just going down to grab a few things, It'll be a minute.- he kissed your forhead and headed out.
You took a deep breath and took off your shoes, changing in your sweatpants and Steve’s sweater. Then you procedeed to take off your bra, ‘cause your boobs hurt like hell. You played a little with your phone, upset that you couldn't call Steve.
The rule on mission was that the one away should always call first, that means they have time to talk. He had been away for two days and it was expected to return in three days along with Nat, Tony, Wanda, Thor and Sam.
You just needed to cry. You've never been one of those cry babies, it came to you just when you were really really upset and angry. And now you just needed a break from all the thoughts in your head.
Bucky came back knocking a few minutes later. When you opened the door you saw his hands stuffed with things. He had brought choccolate, some water, latte, knowing that you prefer coffe over tea, a few aspirins and at least four or five movies. You smiled at him fondly and when he had finally put down all what he had brought, you jumped on him, hugging him tightly. He just chuckled and reciprocated the embrace.
-
You both go on the bed, surrounded by all the food that he brought, sipping your drinks. You had taken an aspirin right away, so now you were feeling a little better. You had decided to watch Zeffirelli's Romeo and Juliet, but you weren't really paying attention to it. It was one of your favourite movies, you could basically play it by memory line for line, but right now you realized that you had to talk to someone or you would explode.
So you told Bucky about all the stress, the fact that Steve was often away, not by his choice, on missions, and that you missed him terribly. With a little of courage you even told him about your doubts and the exams with Bruce. He looked a little taken back by the reveal, and said that Steve never mentioned anything about trying to have a baby, but he said that he would accompany you to the next ecography. That's because you didn't want to tell Steve, even if he said that you should because he would want to know, but he didn't push you.
He was really understanding and sensitive about it. He told you that no matter what there wouldn't have been nothing wrong with you, and that anyway there are other options to have a baby. You cried a little more until you fell asleep on his chest.
End of part one. How is this so far? What do you think will happen? Could it be interesting? Please let me know. Even tho I sure hope y’all are bc I already have some more parts ready, but it’s not finished yet.
Also, I’m REALLY trying not to write the reader too affectionate with Bucky, but it’s making me literally sweat. I just love him too much.

my passive-agressive v-word (voltron) review
and why I think its poopie
english isnt my first language so im sorry (not really) if I make any mistake. watch for the spoilers my dudes
okay
Voltron really had a LOT of potential at the beggining. Im gonna enlist the things that in my opinion, ruined the show.
The villian: the moment i think voltron started going downgrade is when Zarkon died. If you create a story but you change who the bad guy is, be sure of doing it for a well-written character. Zarkon's death was illogical and i mean, the guy was super strong and Lotor killed him in one second what the fuck, he should have been the endgame villian (you know, the one the heroes defeat at the end of the show). But listen this wasn't the worst thing, i think the point of no return was Lotor's (implied) death, he could have been a good antagonist, i mean you can change who the real villian is one time, but if you do it a second time it starts to get repetitive and boring. I think the problem here was that Dreamworks wanted to extend the series and it became stupid.
The PLOTHOLES: i dont know what to say so im gonna give examples:
I dont remember which season but in this episode shit was happening in a spaceship ya know and Matt opens a door just to be surprised of what the door had inside, THIS IS NEVER SHOWED AGAIN OKAY? OKAY. They never explained what the fuck he saw.
This was in one of the last seasons, the paladins get stranded at space (duh) i mean without the lions or shit they were floating around. Well basically Lance tells Keith something like "you shouldn't have come back" and i can tell that h u r t e d. The point is that they never talked about that again, its like it didnt happened.
The fucking queerbaiting: remember when they gave that season trailer where they showed Shiros boyfriend and all the fandom went nuts but they actually killed him like in the second episode or something, that was literally senseless because it didnt had ANY plot relevance.
The fucking KLANCE queerbaiting: i dont care if you ship it or not, but if you have at least one (1) braincell you probably know the TONS of klance content they did just to please the fans. Interviews, official art, the canon series itself were queerbaiting klance because they KNEW they would catch most of the fandom attention.
The romantic relationships: almost all of them were bad-written the only one that made some fucking sense was Hunk with that alien-rhinoceros girl I dont even know her name.
Allura's death was STUPID: like most of the things on this show it was UNNECESSARY. I really don't understand why did they killed her because it literally had no reason.
Well guyes
this were some of the points I consider relevant,,, i could have extend this but its not a fuckin essay so yeee
what pains me the most is that voltron really started like it was gonna be good, but the decisions the creators made were bad, it could have been an amazing show.
goodbie

@monthms tagged me in this cute lil question meme thingy so here we go! this got so long lmao
Rules: create another 11 questions + tag people. (I’m terrible at these because I never tag people because I think I’m annoying them sorry!!)
Questions from Gabi!
1. Where are you from (if you’re comfortable with sharing)?
Australia born and raised, half australian half filipino.
2. How and when did you start coding?
I started when I was about 14/15 years old maybe? I used to use blogspot religiously lmao (my friend got me into it) and I had some things about the layouts I used that I wanted to change so I googled those questions. And when I switched to tumblr I was still pretty new but tumblr is definitely where I got hooked on coding.
3. Is coding websites also your job or only a hobby?
Future job! (graphic designer/front end web developer hopefully) I’m a student at the moment.
4. Did you change your url in the past? What were your previous urls?
This is my first url for this blog! I originally went peach to match it with my resource blog at the time.
5. Which of your codes is your favourite and why?
I think out of all my themes (tbh there’s not many, I’ve released a lot more pages which I definitely want to change) my favourite would have to be either Rosewater because of the split design layout and responsiveness or my newly released theme Fate because I think it just looks so clean! And for my pages it’d definitely be Inkheart.
6. Is there anything you want to improve about your codes?
Absolutely, I want to do way more complex designs as well as try to find my style and niche. I also wanna make sure my code is organised and neat, I already try to do that but I can always improve.
7. What do you do when you feel stuck with coding?
I take a break, especially when I’m feeling burnt out. I just focus on other things I enjoy like watching a tv series or reading a book. Basically just not thinking about it til I feel refreshed and come back to it.
8. What/Who gives you inspiration?
Hmmm. This is really hard! I get a lot of inspiration from the members of CH, they’re so amazing. And of course the people I follow on instagram/dribbble/behance, there’s so much talent out there it’s insane. If I’m just using a site or an app and I come across an interesting layout or feature I’ll take note of it.
9. What do you do in a free time (other than coding)?
I like to play video games (playing divinity original sin 2 atm!), watch tv/movies/anime/yt, read books/comics/manga, god this is hard?? what do I even do with my time?? I’m quite an introvert so a lot of the things I like to do are single person activities lmao. Oh! I like to clean out my pc! I’ll regularly go through and mass delete stuff I don’t need/use and reorganise my files. I find it quite relaxing.
10. Favourite music artist(s) and song(s) you like recently.
Picking my favourite music is always so hard because I typically just listen to a particular song for months on end. I’m going to just go ahead and pick five songs from my main playlists!
early 2000s punk rock vibes
Mr. Brightside - The Killers
Nicotine - Panic! At The Disco
This Ain’t A Scene, It’s An Arms Race - Fall Out Boy
Girls & Boys - Good Charlotte
When I’m Gone - 3 Doors Down
out of body vibes
Often - The Weeknd
Beggin For Thread - Banks
Stranger Than Earth - Purity Ring
1988 - Chet Faker, Banks
Say My Name - ODESZA, Zyra
melancholic vibes
Big Jet Plane - Angus & Julia Stone
Heartbeats - Jose Gonzalez
Poison & Wine - The Civil Wars
Little Do You Know - Alex & Sierra
Wicked Game - James Vincent McMorrow
streetlight vibes (my favourite playlist, I can’t explain how these songs make me feel)
III. Telegraph Ave. - Childish Gambino
The Night - HONNE
Say It - Flume, Tove Lo
Pink + White - Frank Ocean
Atlantis - Seafret
throwback vibes (iconic songs from my childhood that I still listen to on the daily)
Pony - Ginuwine
Toxic - Britney Spears
Survivor - Destiny’s Child
Kiss Me Thru The Phone - Soulja Boy
Tik Tok - Kesha
11. Any books/TV shows/movies to recommend?
This is just a random selection of things I’ve enjoyed!
TV - Star Trek: Discovery, Broadchurch, Luther, Terrace House, The Bletchley Circle, Outlander
Films - any Ghibli movie, Inception, Mad Max Fury Road (literally my favourite movie ever I’ve watched it so many times), Pride and Prejudice (2005 version is ICONIC), Pacific Rim (love me some drift compatibility)
Anime/Manga - Boku No Hero Academia (I love my frog girl Asui and my birb boy Fumikage), Made In Abyss, Fullmetal Alchemist (lit my childhood), Death Note (also my childhood - don’t talk to me about any of the live action versions thank u), I’m hesitant to rec Shingeki No Kyojin because of how trash the second season was so if you just watch season 1 and read the manga you should be all good
Books - I read a lot of YA lmao. The Lunar Chronicles, The Raven Cycle, The Secret History, Red Queen, Vampire Academy (my early teenage years), The Study series by Maria V Snyder is one I reread constantly in high school. I started reading The Other Boleyn Girl the other day when I was staying at my bf’s house so I’m curious about how it is. I’ve also been reading The Witcher series lately! (I want to finish them before I play TW3) and I’ve really been enjoying them.
If you made it this far then I love you and appreciate you.
#post#personal#thanks for tagging me gabi!! <3#this is so long I'm so sorry I literally don't know how to shut up#time 2 sleep bc I'm a sleepy lil bean

Talk to me about Uncharted. You've seen all of them now. How do you like the series as a whole? What was your favorite scene?
Oh man where to start
First of all i want to say, over and over again, how amazing the games are. I was totally speechless at the end of it. I’m literally in love with it. I was having a bad time these days (that’s why i was inactive for a while) and watching the playthrough…idk i felt really happy and full while watching it. Not only because of the commentary of the guy who was playing it but the whole story…it was just so good. It has been so long since i feel that way. But im digressing
World speaking the game developed really well. Loved all the character development Nathan went through. I totally grew fond of him and his attempts to do the right thing. He was really not a bad man, he loves a lot and cares a lot about the people around him. I totally get him. He wanted so much to be better that what people expected from him. He wanted to be a better thief. A better son. A better husband. A better brother. A better version of himself.
I wont be tired of Uncharted 3 and how there he improved so much. I totally hated Talbot (sorry to the Talbot fans) when he drugged Nathan and made him runaway from Sully and Elena. You can see there a fragile man. He was so scared that he could hurt them he just fled. That reaction was so…visceral. He was totally terrified. That scene was so well done (tbh i really want to play that part so i can feel the heaviness of it tho).
I’m not sure if the spanish dub changes the sound of teh english one but there’s a part while he is jumping over the boat where his usual groans when he jumps are not groans. Again he is scared. I totally appreciated that because he had been through a lot of stuff and this man is totally tired.
And then the scene with Elena. That freaking scene.
I.LOVED. THAT. The soundtrack there…the piano was so sad there i was…man i just….
I’m not gonna deny that i was confused at first of why Elena was so serious at the end of Nathan’s apologize but then I read in the wiki about the ring and that they were already married but because of Nathan they were separated…she just came back again…knowing that this man was only going to hurt himself again…and he came back to her…and the whole apologize gained a bigger meaning because Nathan was not only apologizing for his mistakes in Yemen and losing Sully and bringing Elena into it but…for everything. He realized how wrong he was, how much he was hurting them. That vulnerabilty in that scene…i dig it. I totally dig it and yes it’s my favorite moment in all the games.
My second favorite scene is the eclipse one. Man, holy mother of everything above. The way that happened…how Sully died…it was so cold…and when it was revealed it was just Nathan’s hallucination…one of his biggest fears being that…and the way you had to get though it. Again you are seeing a man scared of himself, that his bigger fear is hurting the one who loved him the most since he was a little kid. The father he never had.
What i like from Uncharted 3 is how the releationship were portrayed. Specially with Sully. He is one of my favorite characters too.
(i really can still talking about Uncharted 3 but i need to go to the 4 xD)
omg Uncharted 4 was beautiful
Altho i was a little shocked at the beggining cause the 3d models were a little different, specially for Elena. But i got used to it.
The whole prision thing with Sam and Rafe was really good. Altho i felt sorry for Vargas. tbh i disliked Rafe since that moment (sorry Rafe fans). Showing Sam’s “dead” there too was a really good move cause that added another layer to Nathan’s character and how broken he was (this poor man. he didnt deserve allt he shit he went through)
I totally appreciate Nathan and his efforts to doing, again, the things right? Him denying to do the Malasia job because it was illegal? He grew up so much then?
I laughed my ass off at the Crash Bandicoot thingy lmao
Then Sam’s returning. And Nathan almost having a heart attack lol. Sigh, but i totally knew he was going to lie to Elena about it. I mean i get why he did it. Doesnt mean I agree with it. I totally was in Sully’s side (Sully is such a good father he loves Nathan and Elena so much?)
I liked knowing more about Nadine. She really wasnt a bad woman she just needed the founds. Bad she trusted the wrong man.
And she was totally right about Rafe wanting to do it just because of Nathan. I mean, he could have easily waited to the auction and then liberating Sam to have the information to get to Libertalia. There was no need to liberate Sam before except that he wanted Nathan to know about it.He wanted Nathan to know that Avery’s cross was there and that he could do nothing about it. But he subestimated Nathan and Sam.
And when Elena knew the whole truth. Man, poor Nathan he was a dead man. Even Sam not knowing Elena knew that his brother was going to be a dead man lol.
Nathan later’s conversation with his brother in Libertalia again showed how much he really wanted to do the right thing. He still loved to go treasure hunting but he wanted to do it the right way. But Sam didnt completly understood it.
Oh man and when Rafe revealed Nathan the truth about Sam. Again, you can see a broken man right there. He really didnt deserve all that shit. Thank God Elena found him (bless that woman) because Nathan would have never got out of it. I liked how they make out about everything. How Elena noticed how much Nathan missed all the history stuff. How Nathan apologized even when he wasnt doing (now) nothing wrong. I again appreaciate the efforts of this man to control himself. And how he later rejected Sam’s attempts to go to Avery’s ship.
The last confrontation with Rafe was good. omg i wanted to puch him when he slapped Nadine. How dare he. I was totally supporting her when she put a gun on his head. Nadine was also a victim of the circumstances. She just needed the money, she was right in not wanting the whole treasure. She really didnt hate the Drakes (i want to rewatch Lost Legacy now because i have more context so some dialogue will make more sense to me lol)
Elena’s gift to Nathan in the end was really sweet. They both missed that life, it wasnt just Nathan. So she understood him. I like how he hesitated in the beggining but then went all for it xD
Ah i would like to say that Cassie’s appearance surprised me but i got spoiled a day before about it xD (I was doing so damn well!) But that was a good epilogue. They were so happy now i was…so damn nostalgic at the end of the video…they grew up so fast *sobs*
To resume: I love the games fully with all my soul, the character development was amazing, Nathan Drake deserved so much better and all the characters are going to be forever in my heart (except you, Talbot. Go lose yourself in hell)

Han/Leia Appreciation Week Day 5: AU
It’s still 11:00pm Pacific Time, folks! Thanks for @asmoonlightthroughthepines for goading me on and for the metaphor “like a gundark walking on ice.” Thanks to @organanation for a quick, sleepy look-over as I finished it up (any typos and errors should be attributed to me!!!!). And credit to @rogueandjedi for the Corellian love stone head canon that plays a small role here, as well as to @otterandterrier for reminding me of it and letting me steal her idea of a box. And @onwardintolight for a last minute suggestion I needed. Mild torture references.
Bail Organa was rooting around in the galley, trying to find one of those pre-made, generously titled “meals” he knew the smugglers kept. The former Viceroy of Alderaan had gotten peckish and, estimating that there was some time before either the Corellian or the Wookie began to make the evening meal, had decided it was useless— silly, really— to sit around and wait. It felt invasive going through the other man’s ship. But neither was Bail comfortable with asking the smuggler for everything, like a child— “Can I have? May I please?”— and he could tell Solo was frustrated with him going without and equally uncomfortable in the role of giver. Look, I’m not some Imperial stooge who needs his ego fed by you either beggin’ or sufferin’, Solo had snapped, tossing him an extra jacket when he’d found Bail shivering at the Dejarik table earlier that day. So unless it’s the hyperdrive or somethin’, for kriff’s sake, just take whatever it is you need.
Still, it felt strange to be rooting around in the Corellian’s domain, sifting through his possessions. Almost dizzying— either the freedom of it, or the fear of it going somehow terribly wrong. Perhaps both. Everything Bail had touched in the last six years had served a purpose secondary to its function. A book was a gift to Bail for being a good pet, a well-chosen reminder of all he had sold out to survive every day. A humiliation to taunt him as much as to force agony over whether to accept the degradation of the book or to brave the stifling, physically painful boredom of his isolated days. Medical attention was a reminder of Imperial Colonel X’s power to give as well as to take away, and ultimate control over Bail’s body. After all, Bail couldn’t even die. He shuddered, and did his best to put those thoughts from his mind, and to ignore the dreadful sense that the other shoe could drop at any time. Solo might be a lot of potentially very unsavory things, but he wasn’t a sadist. Bail could tell that; Bail knew knew sadists.
Neither Solo nor Chewbacca seemed not to trade in such double meanings. If Bail was given an extra blanket, it’s because the temperature regulator on the Falcon was on the fritz and humans, not being Wookies, get cold. A book was whatever datachips happened to be lying around, and the Viceroy was equally welcome to choose 1,000 Modifications for YT Series Freighters to Try Before You Die (Or Until They Kill You) as he was to choose Foundations of Democratic Societies— the latter being a favorite of Bail’s that Solo dubiously claimed was accidentally left by a diplomat he’d supposedly been transporting on New Republic business. Bail grimly hoped it wasn’t left by a diplomat Solo had killed in his sleep.
The Viceroy supposed he was only riffling through food and kitchen supplies anyway, although he desperately wanted to check the rest of the ship to find out who the man was really. It was plausible enough Solo had done some runs for the Alliance at some point in time, but if there really was a New Republic, it seemed doubtful he was currently in their employ. Bail didn’t have the courage yet, though, or the sense of how to do so without getting caught. And it wasn’t as if there was much he could do if he found something unsettling. He knew literally nothing of the state of the galaxy, had no money, no connections. If Leia really was alive, and he could get somehow a message to her— but then, that information came from the smuggler too, and he was afraid to let himself believe.
In a cabinet, Bail found a packet labeled in Mandalorian that appeared to be food. The graphics on the wrapper appeared to indicate all that needed to be done was to add hot water and wait two minutes. Easy enough, he told himself. The electric kettle was prominently displayed in the galley. All he needed was a bowl. And maybe some scissors, he thought, as he fumbled with the package. Damn. How did anyone open these things?
Rooting around another shelf, Bail hit something with his outstretched hand and caused a domino effect as items came tumbling out of the cupboard. His clumsy attempt to stem the clatter seemed to knock over another slew of kitchenware, and the clatter continued. Something fell, heavy, onto his foot. Sithspit, that hurt. What in the Corellian’s hells could be that heavy?
He looked down to find a box of fine, maroon velour near his foot, metal kitchen supplies and cast-plast cups scattered about. Not his business, he told himself, as he bent down to examine it. He found the box took some exertion to lift. Not his ship, not his business, Bail repeated to himself, as he shifted the box from one hand to the other. It was soft and beautiful. Pristine. Nothing like the ragged, utility-based, slightly dirty surroundings of this ship, nor like the clinical steel of his recent cell. He hadn’t touched anything like it in— he sighed, and looked around. He couldn’t hear Solo, which meant he must not have heard the commotion or cared enough to investigate. Bail knew he should put it back.
It was probably something the man was smuggling. Still, who stowed “merchandise” in the galley? That seemed a bit much, even for smugglers. And what could it be? It was too heavy for jewelry, despite the box. Maybe a solid brick of a precious metal or gem. Still, it would have to be extremely precious to be worth transporting so small a quantity. Was it possible that it was some small, dense weapon? He should put it back.
His fingers tingled with a need to know, to gain as much information as he could about the man who held Bail’s life in his hands more than he cared to admit, and he found himself opening it. For a moment he was confused, then realization dawned—
Oh. Oh. Well, that was— unexpected. There were no feminine touches on the junker ship, nothing that gave away that there was a woman in this man’s life. Or another man, for that matter, he shouldn’t make assumptions. The rock didn’t look quite, traditional, but it was definitely—
Bail started at an almost familiar stomping that was accompanied by a shout of, “You makin’ us dinner, Viceroy?” Solo entered the small galley space, wiping his hands down on an already grease-covered rag. Bail watched the cheerful look fade from the man’s face, and felt the color drain from his own. “What are you doing with that? That isn’t yours,” the Corellian continued, pointing at Bail, nostrils flaring. “No, it isn’t,” Bail agreed firmly, hands shaking only slightly as he held it out the smuggler who closed the gap between them to snatch it back immediately, snapping the box shut. Solo held it close to himself, protectively, and glared. Breathe, Bail told himself. Just a misunderstanding. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to-” “You shouldn’t go prying into other people’s stuff!” “I was just looking for the scissors.” “Well, there they are,” Solo pointed to the floor. “So they are.” The two men stood there for a moment, kitchenware scattered between them, Solo grasping the box as if Bail might yank it from him at any moment. After an impossibly long moment of tension, Solo relaxed. “S’okay.” He ran his thumb over the velvet. “S’ not a big deal,” Solo said almost to himself, bending over to deal with the spilled silverware. One-handed. Bail bent down to assist. The silence stretched between them, except for the clanking of the kitchen stuff. This is ridiculous, Bail thought to himself. I can’t tiptoe around here forever like a gundark walking on ice.
“Is there an order to this?” the Viceroy asked, as he contemplated where he was supposed to put the— mittens? “Not really.” You don’t say. “Think you wanted these,” Solo said, handing the scissors over. “That’s alright,” Bail said, taking them, but placing them back in the cupboard. I’m not really hungry anymore.”
“Almost dinner time anyway,” Solo observed. Silence again. Bail hesitated for a moment before saying, “That’s a very unique stone.”
The smuggler stiffened. “I said it was okay, not that I wanted to talk about it,” Solo avoided Bail’s eyes, resuming his task of lifted a chipped mug into the cupboard a bit more firmly than necessary. Bail wondered vaguely where the Wookie was as a chill ran up his spine. Peace, he told himself. Captain Solo’s irascibility seems to be an important part of his personality. He’s no threat to you.
“Whoever that’s for, they’ll like it,” Bail ventured, pointing to the box Solo still clutched close.
“Y’don’t have to suck up to me, Viceroy,” Solo groused. He closed the cupboard and was silent for a moment, leaning back against the counter. His face seemed to change, as if weighing something. In a rush of air, almost as if before he changed his mind, Solo asked. “You think so?” Without waiting for a response, he shook his head, muttering to the box or himself, “I’m not sure.”
Bail didn’t think Solo seemed overly eager for his opinion, but he had asked, and it was more of a discussion than he’d had with the man about non-“need-to-know” information thus far. He wasn’t sure if he sought to be useful to Solo out of a sense of self-preservation, to alleviate boredom, or simply out of habit from playing the game with X. Maybe even a desire to connect with people, if he could still do that. Did it matter, really? Drawing on his knowledge from a previous life, and taking in a deep breath, Bail went on.
“The fusing of the two rocks is highly unusual for the tradition of the Corellian- ah, stone,” Bail said. He hadn’t missed the tightening of Solo’s jaw and tensing of his shoulders, and he decided to skip over the word love. He was rewarded by a slight sagging of the smuggler’s shoulders, so he went on. “It looks like it was done with great care, by someone who knew what they were doing. It must have been expensive.”
“Yeah.” Solo rubbed the velvet absently. “She’s not gonna care so much about that. I mean, I didn’t want to get her something cheap.” He looked at Bail as if to emphasize that he wasn’t— what was the phrase?— cheaping out. “But it’s not gonna impress her that it cost a lot.”
Bail thought it didn’t seem like the smuggler made all that much money, and that it must mean something to the lady that he was spending it on her. Solo certainly wasn’t spending it on himself.
“So it is for someone then,” Bail said, failing to suppress a small smile. A narrowing of the eyes from Solo. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
“Nothing.” Bail said mildly, putting his hands up in (mock?) surrender. “I just didn’t know you, uh, had someone. I don’t mean anything by that either!” he added, preemptively, as something dark across Solo’s face. “I’m just trying to make conversation.” He brought his hands down but left his palms up as a gesture of peace.
Solo blew out more breath, and tucked the box into a vest pocket. He began opening other cupboards, presumably getting dinner started. “If you wanted to do something helpful, you could fill this pot with water and put it on the stove to boil.”
Bail did so, musing slightly on the ordinariness of the situation. An older man discovering a younger man had a girl he was sweet on. And he was pretty sure Solo must be quite sweet on her. Even his guardedness suggested that, like the stone, the relationship was— well, precious. The whole thing was practically ordinary. Endearing even, if you could apply that term to the rugged (Alliance-affiliated?) criminal he’d fallen in with. Perhaps the woman thought so.
“Thought matters more to her than expense,” Bail said sagely, bringing back the topic. “Smart woman.”
“Mmmm, incredibly,” Solo said absently.
“The first rock is Corellian, yes? From the Thaos region?”
A nod from Solo. “You know your stuff.”
““The second rock, is it a meteor?”
“No.” Solo said it so finally, Bail decided not to push it.
“What’s she like?” he tried. “The woman to whom you plan to give this stone?”
Solo shrugged, “Y’know.”
“I don’t.” Bail chuckled slightly. All men seemed to think that they woman they chose was the universally desired kind, but you could tell a lot about a man by the qualities he valued.
Solo grimaced a little, as if letting Bail in might cause him pain.
“I haven’t heard anything but Imperial drivel in years, Solo, give me something.”
“Here,” Solo handed him a pot lid, “it’ll boil faster.” Bail covered the pot and checked the electric heat of the stove to make sure it was on. Solo opened the conservator and took out some kind of vegetable, and began chopping it. “Like I said,” Solo said after a moment, “Real smart. Funny.” He shrugged. “Y’know. Tough. Doesn’t take shit from anybody.”
“A quality I’m sure comes in handy for being in a relationship with you,” Bail mused.
The Corellian looked up from his chopped vegetable, and for a moment their eyes met. In that moment Bail felt his heart jump back in unexpected fear. He’d been really pushing it this whole time, had he finally gone a step too far?
Solo leaned in. “Are you suggesting I’m difficult to live with, Viceroy?” The question had none of the cold steel that preceded a punishment from X, a mild deadpan from slightly upturned lips. The flash in the Corellian’s eyes was surprise rather than anger, and there was the glint of amusement.
Without thinking, Bail countered, “Who puts forks on a shelf when they a perfectly good drawer?”
Solo smiled, pulling out the drawer behind him. “Drawer has hydrospanners and some good copper wirin’ n it.”
“Ah, of course.” Bail assented.
The Viceroy didn’t know anything about the Corellian. Didn’t know if he’d be a faithful husband, or a good provider, or whatever it was he or the lady hoped for in their relationship. But he’d always liked married men- a prejudice perhaps, but he frequently found them to be more solid, and that he had more in common with them. Especially when they valued their wives’ intelligence and independence.
Maybe Captain Solo wasn’t so bad.

okay so
this is a schedule since TRF in case that you’re feeling a bit lost about the timeline of the series since that time because to be honest we all are
doing some maths that that I’ll explain later, the reichenbach fall happened between late october and january
the scene where sherlock meets john at the restaurant is 2 years after the reichenbach fall, we don’t know if it was exactly two years tho but lets say that yes, it was 24 months later, it was one or two weeks before the terrorist attack in november 5th so it was in late october, that would explain why john was so sad at the beggining of the episode– cause it was the week of the anniversary of Sherlock’s death
so john must have known mary for a few months cause, like he said, they haven’t known each other for so long REALLY YOU GO AND MARRY A WOMAN THAT YOU DONT EVEN KNOw oh fuck you
well back to the point, john is refused to talk to sherlock, so sherlock has to work on the underground network alone. He tries to work with molly but it doesnt work out
while sherlock is coming back from hanging out with molly, john is kidnapped, we know it happened the same day because when mary went to baker street to tell sherlock about the skip code he was eating the chips that he offered molly to eat with him earlier that day
the day (the fifth of november) after sherlock saved him they meet at 221b and go to deactivate the bomb that same night, where john forgives sherlock
the end of the episode and also the day where john proposed to mary is situated in a few days later
the sign of three starts with sherlock writing the bestman speech, John’s proposal to him being the bestman could be after all the months of preparation or maybe before all of that, i incline more for it being before though
a wedding takes months to organize, several months, so the preparations must have lasted at least five months, i would say that the wedding takes place at least 6 months after the ending of TEH, so it happened in the middle of the year
the stag night is usually the night after the wedding but it can be a few days/a week before it
then they show us sherlock practicing dancing and after talking to mrs hudson he prepares for the wedding
the wedding, in june/july is where sherlock deduces that mary is pregnant, she mustn’t even have a month cause she would have made a test so lets stick to only weeks of pregnancy
TSOT ends with sherlock leaving the wedding earlier and just by looking at his face after talking to john and mary we can guess why
a month later john finds sherlock high and takes him to 221b where he finds out about janine and knows magnussen
everytime john abandons sherlock he goes back go drugs and always makes sure to have the excuse of a case requiring him to, we see it in HLV and also in TLD
that same night they break into magnussen’s office
and sherlock gets shot because of mary
one week later (based on what he said to the nurses when he called them in 221b) he escapes from the hospital to make john know about mary’s real identity
five months after that it’s christmas– december, so the wedding was a little more than six months ago, mary has been pregnant for six months
okay this is important it’s like the structure of the whole timeline
we know that HLV is situated a month after the wedding, and mary in sherlock’s parents’ house asked john if they really were going to talk about the pendrive after five months, so yes, it’s been six months since the wedding
that same christmas night they go to appledore and sherlock kills magnussen
a few days later sherlock has to say goodbye to john
after literally less than ten minutes he comes back and we have the christmas special, all of that happening while he was coming back
i want to point out that he didn’t take those drugs to help him solve the Emilia Ricoletti case like mycroft said, he only wanted to solve it to help him understand how Moriarty could be back, the drugs he took before even getting on the plane weren’t meant to help him with Moriarty cause he didn’t even knew it, and he said they helped him to think better, so what would he need to think about if it wasn’t moriarty? he probably wanted to have a big amount of drugs to kill him of overdose and then avoid the torture of that mission that was going to kill him anyway, or maybe he just wanted a portion that couldn’t kill him but help him survive the mission. Maybe even trying to make the people that sent him know that he was high so they wouldn’t find him helpful and would send him home, but that one is way less likely
anyway back to the timeline
mary gives birth– it has to be three months later
at the end of t6t the baby must be 2-3 months old, maybe older, since christenings are usually done when the baby is one or two months old
the lying detective must start a month after mary’s death, if sherlock planned the whole thing “two weeks ago” to get john to help him get that serial killer. Faith must have appeared one week after sherlock got back to drugs
mrs hudson takes sherlock with john two/three weeks later
that same day they go to meet that little man sorry idk the name
the night of the same day or maybe a day after, john saves sherlock and the next day The Hug™ happens and it’s also sherlock’s birthday apparently
next week (because visits to therapists usually are one week after the last one) john finds out about eurus
the final problem– aaahhhh who the fuck knows this is going to be a mess but it starts after john wakes from the tranquilizer that eurus shot him
i guess that he immediately told sherlock and he must have done everything in his power to know the truth as soon as possible so the begging of the episode must be less than a week after the TLD ending
the same day mycroft, sherlock and john go to baker street to talk about eurus and then there’s the explosion of 221b happened
i guess that a few days later they go to sherrinford and all that mess happens, we dont know how long they were there but lets say one or two days
the next day, late night, the ending happens and it’s all over
they get back to 221b and i guess that in a few days (because of their clothes changing) they restaured it all, just how it was before
i think john is back in baker street, if he’s solving crimes with sherlock again he can’t go to 221b everytime they have a new client and sherlock just calling him when something’s up is just not them, so yes he’s living in 221b, maybe they used 221c for Rosie’s bedroom for when she’s older
well getting back to the point
moving out must last some days, maybe a little more than a week if he has a lot of help, so maybe a week or two later he is living with Sherlock again
we don’t know how much time has happened between each scene of the ending but in the last one of sherlock carrying rosie and giving her to john she looks really older, almost a year i would say, so maybe it’s been months since the eurus mess, we know that it didn’t happened the same day because even if the visits could come all at the same time to the “reinauguration” (?) of 221b there’s also scenes of different cases and clients, and sherlock lasts some days to solve a case, so it must have happened with a gap of a few days (at least) between each scene
so conclusion, since they met in 2010 until Sherlock’s death they have been living together for two years– so sherlock “died” in 2012, then in 2014 he came back and we are now probably at the same time as them, maybe the eurus mess ended in 2016 but with all of those scenes at the end they fast forwarded to 2017 so we are all in the same year again
i really dont know what’s the utility of this post, there’s literally no final conclusion or point that i want to prove, i was just bored and wanted to write this so i hope it helped ?????? sorry for any grammatical errors cause english is not my first language but i hope it wasn’t too complicated to read
