I can’t say I’m surprised that Lestat saved Louis instead of Armand, I honestly thought when I was first watching ep7 that it was Lestat saving Louis until it cut to Armand doing the mass mind control and I was like oh ok, that makes sense ig. But I was very much willing to accept that Armand was planning to let Louis die, and so I’m def not having much trouble accepting it now lol.

I think amc made Armand just the right amount of devious when it comes to his involvement in the trial without bordering into out of character territory. I imagine directing the trial was elating for him after his panic about loosing his place in the coven. It makes perfect sense to me why he would want Louis dead 😭‼️. He basically explains it himself lol, when he says to Louis that his choice was between his coven of 200 years or his boyfriend who is actively putting him in danger and severing his sense of security. As Armand says lol, he couldn’t rely on Louis’s devotion to him to last as long as his coven has, and his priority is always going to be preserving that safety rather then being loyal to ppl he loves. Armand sees love as extremely transactional and entirely based in how secure he feels in it, how long it lasts, how much it does for him, etc (bcus hes Never been actually loved b4 oops). So once he realizes that Louis is doing nothing but putting him in jeopardy, and is actually pretty uncaring towards him, and he is given that choice, then of course he chooses the coven so thoroughly that he’s willing to let Louis die.He’s not wrong about Louis being an unreliable person to bet all his cards on💀 Louis only stayed with Armand for so long out of spite against Lestat, not out of any real love for him. And for Armand love is only worthwhile if it’s also protection and security, and Louis is not gonna give him that.

what I find interesting is how despite Armand’s plan being to kill Louis, he made the choice to stay with him even tho he wanted him dead. And I think Armand decided to stay with Louis purely because Louis burned down the theater, and without Louis Armand had nothing else. He always needs that security, that thing to devote himself to so he isn’t alone or aimless, bcus Armand doesn’t know how to live if he is not given a purpose. The learned helplessness was rlly getting me, the way he knows Louis is going to destroy the thing he just put sm effort into preserving and he doesn’t do anything to stop him. He doesn’t even act to try and preserve his relationship with Louis, he sits there limply with his head down and blankly admits that Louis will never forgive him and their relationship is ruined 💀. I think he only makes the choice to attach himself to Louis when Louis tells Lestat (and Armand) that he is going to stay with Armand. The way he’s staring at him like a wide eyed dog waiting for master to pull his leash during the scene in Magnus’s chambers, his needy little glances after he kisses him, he’s waiting for commands 😭😭 he’s waiting for Louis to give him a purpose after he destroyed the thing he was desperately clinging to

With all this being said tho, I don’t think that Armand doesn’t love Louis. As I said he has a very warped view of how love works, and even tho I’m sure it would hurt Armand to see Louis die, he both considers loosing Louis an inevitability that will be less painful if he has control of the circumstances, and he considers the loss of loved ones who are not safe/secure/useful a necessity. Armand is very used to loosing the ppl he loves in cold and painful ways 😭 for him this is the way life for a vampire is, and it doesn’t matter how he feels about it, it has to be done. When Armand says “i could not prevent it” it’s goofy asf cuz, um yes you could have sweetie ❤️🙏. But I think part of him means that, he rlly does feel like the cruelty he puts ppl through is all he can do, it’s not a choice it’s an inevitability, it’s just how he is.

i stand by with all my heart my analysis that Armand is not a manipulative or calculated person. He is clearly not so good at being manipulative lol, and his lies r only rlly affective bcus of Louis’s willingness to believe them. But anyways, Armand is coming to terms with (when he’s thrown out of the house, and then thrown into the wall) that the person he has been betting everything on for 77 yrs, the person he has been depending on for his purpose and his security, is gone and he has nothing else. “Without Louis I am nothing.” ‼️‼️ so as he’s lying in that rubble Armand’s thinking, I’m nothing. And knowing him, probably trying to desperately find smth else to fill the black hole.

and daniels there, and knowing Daniel, he’s not leaving. He’s getting sos messages from Raglan telling him to get the fuck out of there 😭 but raglan was the person who told Daniel that Louis is the dangerous one, not Armand, and well Louis’s left. And Daniel isn’t going to leave a fascinating story in the rubble just to go back to his shitty old man home, no sir.

So here we have it, Armand is more desperate and alone than he’s been in 77 years, and Daniel is staying with him. I imagine he helps him leave Louis’s house while he’s injured, probably drops him at a hotel or smth. And Armand has just lost his life line, and is looking for a new one, and here’s Daniel, helping him back on his feet, not leaving. I think that Daniel ends up fascinated by Armand and by some pull unable to leave him, and he stays with Armand for a while while he’s recovering from the divorce. And in my mind devils minion in the past still happened, and Armand knows this, maybe Daniel does, maybe not. Either way Daniel feels the connection. And through the power of desperation and nurse maid style rebounding, Armand turns Daniel bcus he can’t stand to be alone. And oh boy, the Armand apparently fucks all the way off right after, probably out of guilt for breaking his ultimate rule to not ever make another vampire, which aligns with book canon, where Armand and Daniel separate partly bcus of Armand’s guilt. And so here we r

I am completely certain that Louis’s claim that Armand turned Daniel out of spite is wrong, and based in Louis’s bitter post divorce bias. Especially considering how Daniel does nottt have the attitude of a man who was just turned into a vampire against his will out of anger 💀 that is youthful gay boy silly Billy lusting for life 70s Daniel in the flesh right there, that is the face of a man who’s minion has been deviled, yknow yknow. Honestly at first he acts like he isn’t interested and thinks it’s the stupidest thing ever. Like he’ll literally be like “Ew why do you watch this stuff, it’s so corny” (and lukewarm). He usually watches horror movies/shows so romance  k-dramas never really appealed to him. 

However, the more you watched them…the more interested he would get. He’s slowly but surely start to learn the story and end up watching with you, but when you tease him about it, he goes “ugh no, I don’t even care about this stupid show.” But he continues to binge it with you.

Then he also  gets upset when you watch it without him. (But he won’t ever admit that). Also, I can see him getting jealous of the main/2nd lead of the drama if you gush over them, or anyone in the show for that matter. He’d be like “if you like them so much why don’t you go to Korea and date them instead??” 💀💀

Deep down, he really does enjoy watching the show with you and he’d want to recreate some of the cute moments in the show. (He would never tell you tho). Honestly, I can see him silently fangirling when the 2 main love interest finally get together and they’re all happy. 

He also likes cuddling with you when you guys are watching, it makes him feel so safe and secure. When the main couple kisses on screen or anything, he’ll get all flustered and would want to kiss you in the moment too <3

This man definitely watches k-dramas. Probably a big fan of them too. I can definitely imagine him watching them with his sister and them bonding over that.

Anyways, he probably has a cute lil movie night set up when you watch together. Like there’s snacks, a blanket, and tons of cuddling. I can also see you guys doing face masks (the skincare kind lol) while watching too. He’d also buy the skincare and makeup products they have in the show too. 

He’s also probably gonna talk to you a lot about the drama if he particularly likes it. He definitely follows the actors on insta and stalks them. Out of all the guys,I feel like he’d be like the most like a k-drama love interest. He’s a gentleman, sweet, definitely popular with the ladies, and handsome. He definitely brags to you how you guys are basically a k-drama couple. 

Anyways, I can see him trying to learn about the drama so he can talk with you if you’re super interested in it. He’d take time to really know the story and know the characters. Like he’ll surprise you cuz he knows so much, maybe even more than you. 

If you’re gushing over any of the characters, he might start doing stuff the characters did to make you blush. Like for example, if the main couple went on a picnic, then he’ll take you on a picnic date. He’d tease you if you fall for someone in the show. He’d say something like “Ah, I see. I can see him totally being invested! He’d be so excited to watch with you and check it out. He’s so open to watch new shows, especially if you like them!

He only likes it because he can relax and cuddle with you 😭😭. All he wants to do while you watch is be in your arms or vice versa. He’d probably be playing games while you watch. Like it’s all emotional and sad and all there’s his video game noise in the background. •_• 

However, he’d make it really comfortable and be chilling while you watch. Probably resting his head on your shoulder or lap. He’ll look at the TV screen every once in a while but he won’t rlly say anything. 

Overtime, just like Rin, he’ll slowly get invested too. He’s pretty chill about it though and would probably be like “oh. They got together? Cool.” If any of the characters do something embarrassing, he’d call them cringy and have second hand embarrassment. 

I can see him watching the show without you if you’re busy. When you ask him why he didn’t wait for you he’d say “it’s a hassle to go and ask you” 😭. I feel like he’d be kind of a menace and when he gets invested, it’s all he’s watching, he would most definitely watch ahead of you.

If you fall for a character he’d probably be annoyed but won’t rlly show it. He’ll start doing chores around the house or just do more for you just to show that he’s better than said character. He’ll hold you super close during a romantic scene and definitely likes watching with you. (Ugh I love him)  <333

He’s probably already heard and know of K-dramas, but since his parents are strict, he’s never watched any. He’d be open to try watching them with you and be super curious about the shows too. 

Honestly right off the bat, he’s be invested and like watching with you. He’s also super fun to watch the show with. Like he’d giggle at the cute interactions of the couples, scoff if the main character makes a stupid decision, and so on. 

He really gets into the show and I can imagine him buying you guys cute merch (if there is any). He’d love going on similar dates of the couples and recreating cute moments. Or if you guys visit Korea, he’d want to go to the places in the show. 

(Okay this next part is kinda sad but-) 

I can see him being sad with you if something goes wrong in the show. Sometimes there’s moments in the show where the couple breaks up because of the parents. That’s Hiori’s worst fear. Having to loose you because of his parents. He hates the thought of it and it hurts him so much. 

However, the characters always get back together. So, if fictional characters can fight for who the love, he can too. He would literally leave his parents for because unlike them, you actually love him. He loves romantic moments in the show, when one of the character A says how much they’re in love with character B and just stare at them with so much love. 704 includes several mentions of The Fight, the big unification bout in Vegas, and Muay Thai sparring. I don’t think that’s just for the dudebro vibes (tho that’s definitely a factor this season). When it comes to Eddie’s journey as presented in that epic episode, I think all the full-contact combat/sports references are doing subtextual work to narrate Eddie’s queerness and where he’s at this season.

Eddie doesn’t really consciously engage with his queerness at this point in the story but via Tommy as his mirror and all the sports references, I think it’s safe to say that Eddie is at odds with his queerness but he doesn’t fully realize that’s what it is and/or that it’s something he’s been battling on some level his whole life. A few things in the ep point in that direction:

Buck: How was the fight?

Eddie: Fight was okay. Seats were amazing. Tommy’s buddies with the promoter, so we were ringside. Felt like I was the one throwing the punches.

The sense I get is that Eddie is witnessing a fight inside himself but he’s not aware that he’s an active participant in said fight. That makes sense to me given his tremendous ability to compartmentalize and ‘be in control’. Like. The fight is happening but he has it walled off and isn’t consciously connected to it. His queerness is present and with him (aka Tommy with him at the fight + “watching half naked men pummel each other”) but he doesn’t recognize it for what it is quite yet.

A unification bout, according to Wikipedia because I know *nothing* about sports, is the bringing together of titles held by different fighters. Eddie going to the fight with Tommy seems to me like Eddie needing to discover an aspect of himself that Tommy that he has in common with him!

Then there’s all the Muay Thai references. Eddie says it’s been a long time since he met someone that can go toe to toe with him when sparring. Eddie’s fighting for his life against his queerness y’all. It’s not an actual match which is good but still I think the point stands. He’s at odds with a part of himself that’s trying to emerge victorious and express itself. But between Catholic guilt, family expectations, the hypermasculine culture of the military, and overall heteronormative comphet culture Eddie hasn’t been able to see/engage/accept his queerness.

I think this all feeds into to the scene where Buck comes out in 705 and Eddie expresses surprise about Tommy being gay but not Buck being bisexual. Buck has always worn his heart on his sleeve so it makes sense that when he figured out his bisexuality he would share that part of himself with others. Eddie is King of Repression, Reservation, and Control so it makes sense that he wouldn’t quite know HOW to do that for himself yet. Tommy’s character is a needed mirror for Eddie to see what’s possible for himself (all of himself) whereas Tommy was a needed vehicle for the actual expression of Buck’s queerness at this moment in the story. Tommy is doing so much friggin work in the narrative lol!

Lastly, I think Eddie’s own queerness is still a mystery to him and something that he’s sparring with on some level because he’s NOT allosexual! Now’s a good time for me to say loudly that I’m on Team Demisexual/Demiromantic Eddie. It fits with the data we have about his character and it’s still subject to the heteronormativity and comphet we’ve all seen affecting Eddie.

Eddie has expressed little interest in anyone of any gender who he hasn’t had a baby with, viewed as a mother-figure to Chris, or expected the universe to hand-deliver as if by magic. He has not intrinsic motivation toward sexual or romantic relationships until/unless he has a meaningful emotional connection to the person. He described himself as a nester and so far the only person we’ve actually seen him nest with in canon is Buck!!

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that season 7 has shown Buck and Eddie coparenting Chris and sharing their feelings with each other. It’s also meaningful that Eddie, Buck, and Tommy are all talking about Chris at various points and in various ways. Plus Buck thought he had to fight Tommy for Chris’ affection (and Tommy eventually tells Buck that’s not true). Chris has narratively been a metaphor for Eddie’s heart many times before. - To me, Bear and Tiger are both lesbians! the way they both dress honestly makes so much sense for the 2010s era of queer fashion that they would have access to from before the crumble (if we’re assuming this show is set in the present, which I do for ease ). Bear wears a ring on her thumb! this is a symbol of lesbianism too and I wouldn’t have been surprised to see a carabiner on Tigers hip either. to me they both already knew they were lesbians and I think they were together before the show started, but of course were estranged throughout.

- I think that the Animal Army was pretty queer in general! I can definitely see some of them being in relationships and some being trans that we didn’t get to explore! I also lowkey think that if that weren’t the case they would be having babies and stuff because WHO is teaching these orphaned teenagers anything about their bodies? yeah…

- Becky coming back from everything that happened in season 3 and not only getting to see the kids, but seeing Tiger there too and finally, finally feeling safe for one of the first times in her life. all of them coming out of fight mode and slowly learning what it is to heal, what relationships look like when there isn’t something dangerous looming over their heads. figuring out who they really are in a way they could never do before.

- I think that Becky remembers more about her childhood before her parents passed then she says, but keeps it to herself because internally she feels like everything she puts out into the world is taken away.

- I imagine Wendy (when she’s a little older) coming to Becky and asking her for advice and about Becky’s feelings for Tiger, trying to figure out her own feelings for Gus! this is so cute to me because I assume the couples both met around the same age. and Becky feeling so proud and like she won at big sister when it works out for them!!

- Tigerbear having little signals and mannerisms that no one else would understand leftover from when they needed to communicate without words in a fight. a certain whistle/noise or hand motion that seems like absolutely nothing but says exactly what it needs to for them.

- Tigerbear play-fighting in the woods in yellowstone, like a game of tag but they legitimately use fighting techniques and take each other down frequently. all the kids always wanting to join so they tone it back when playing with them, but absolutely and lovingly hunt each other down when it’s just them two. they would also kiss when they catch each other, yes this is true they told me!

- playing off of that, I think within their new, more calm lifestyle they both get the zoomies from time to time and absolutely have to run around to get it out of their systems, their bodies are too used to the chase lol. Jepp probably looks at them both like they’re insane when they willingly run a mile, but appreciates it because it usually gets all of the kids pretty tired too.

- at some point when they had time off in animal army HQ they most definitely gave each other stick and poke tattoos, i’m not *exactly* sure where or what they were, but i know in my heart that it happened.

- keeping the rest of the animal armies memories alive through stories and songs, making a book full of them like Katniss and Peeta did after the war in mockingjay.

Do you think hollow knew what to expect when radiance was sealed in them? I doubt anyone would have explained exactly what would happen and I don’t think most people would actually know what it’s like to literally contain a goddess so do you think they were expecting to just die or whatever during the sealing but then they pop up in the dream battle and they’re instantly confused. Lmao

I adore the idea of them taking one look at the massive looming moth goddess and going “nah, fuck this shit. I sure as shit Did NOT sign up for this bullshi-“ and radiance gets to watch hollows short mental spiral and after they calm down they both just shit talk PK until ghost shows up.

I don’t think anyone really knew exactly what to expect, not even PK, but I do think it was a pretty safe guess that there would’ve been a fight of some kind, hence Hollow being trained in combat and magic. And I don’t think anyone really told Hollow explicitly??? But they’re not stupid and would’ve caught on what was expected of them during others’ conversations.

Or!! It’s honestly possible that PK talked AT them about what he suspected would happen when they were sealed, kinda like Rubber Duck Debugging.

Though I can imagine it was a surprise when they ended up surrounded by pretty clouds, only for the SUN TO SPROUT WINGS AND ATTACK THEM

As for what I think actually happened!! (Ik u didn’t ask about this I just wanna talk about it absnddjdd)

I’m really intrigued by the idea of an eternal battle, BUT what I find more interesting is the idea of Hollow and Radi having a series of shorter battles throughout their imprisonment.

Every time Hollow won, Radi would retreat to lick her wounds and Holly would get some peace for a while. Maybe there was actually some talking during these moments.

Whenever the Radiance won however, Hollow is knocked out of the dream world (like how Ghost is booted out when u lose dream battles) and they’re confronted with the reality that their body is actively falling apart.

During those moments, while they’re frantically trying to calm down enough to re enter the dream realm, they’re in so much pain that it feels like they’re burning from the inside out.

Usually the only noise in the temple is that of their own ragged breathing and the occasional drip, drip, drip of the infected parts of them leaking. At one point, they hear a loud wet slap on the ground, and they turn their head to find that their arm has rotted off.

Meanwhile, Radi uses these moments where she’s not occupied by Hollow’s murder attempts to spread her infection further.

Every time they lose they put up less and less of a fight, until one day they break completely, and the Radiance completely takes over (queue Ghost arriving in Hallownest)

The idea of them both just gossiping about PK for centuries is SO funny to me tho honestly shdbdjdns

All jokes aside though!! I do like to think that some conversations were had between the two!! I doubt they were friendly conversations at all, but I think it’s an interesting concept to explore :D

Hello!!!! I’m glad you liked the bit of… lore I guess? I don’t know how to call it lol regarding Y/N’s letters! I only went through them briefly, in the aspect of what she must write and what not to keep a low profile, but never really showed what she was writing… and boy, was it sad.

Hinata would be very, very sad. Definitely. She’d first be upset, angry, quickly identifying that her letters are to set up a façade that everything is right, when it’s not. She’ll also be able to find some traces of Y/N being genuine whenever she speaks of the twins or her staff… perhaps. But overall, those clues end up being irrelevant to the fact that Y/N is in danger and needs to be taken out of there as soon as possible.

And her not caring for Naoaki…. Hahahahahah it made me laugh and a bit frustrated tbh, but how is she supposed to know?! yet OMG he's RIGHT THERE.

I did think on various occasions that her acting that way with him might’ve been... reckless, like it could’ve raised some red flags from him and be like “Hinata is acting weird” subsequentially, leading the clan to be further vigilant of her. However, Naoaki doesn’t know what’s up with his clan, and his priority is to help Y/N above anything else so… yeah. I wish she would’ve given him the benefit of the doubt and approached him, doing so on any other occasion I think, when she isn’t there for work and isn’t overworked either lol.

But yeah, she’s tired of all she’s been put through and couldn’t care less of engaging with other people as of right now. To Naoaki’s defense… Hinata didn’t talk to anyone else either, so there’s that 🤭

As for Naoaki… that freaking scene with the grape was like omg…………………………………………………… I wanted to go heavier on the subtle implications, but I was like no ma’am, Y/N pulled away from that one and I don’t think Naoaki would insist after seeing her reject his advancements sooooo maybe for another time 😊 This was also a way to show just how… bold the two had become after the whole Naobito/Naoya/Y/N thing went down, had this been before that, Naoaki would’ve never done something like that.

I can imagine Ranta watching the two from some undisclosed corner frantically hoping that Naoya won’t come out and see them lmao.

Finally… the mystery of whatever Naoya was shoving inside his pocket the chapter before is revealed!

So after the tenth month, you finally felt comfortable with trying to date again, and you do—you find this great person, and the two of you start dating, and it’s someone who treats you like you’re their partner and not their property, and you explain to them what would happen because Shauna and Jackie are dead, so you’re safe to tell them how they were. 

But a week after telling them everything, it’s all over the news that the soccer team was reduced—well, most of them—and to your horror, Shauna and Jackie are some of the survivors. Nat and Lottie are too, and although you’re happy that Nat is back, you’re unsure how to feel about Shauna and Jackie. They’re shown on TV and while Nat, Lottie, etc look anxious and wide-eyed, Shauna and Jackie look relaxed.

Then one day, as you were holding your partner's hand, Jackie and Shauna were standing in front of you, and they looked angry. Your partner isn’t paying attention, and the two of you rush past them, and Nat reaches out to you and asks to hang out because she missed you, and that night after she leaves, Jackie and Shauna show up and push past you. They’re surprised that you’re living by yourself in such a small apartment, and then they express how angry they are with you for getting with someone else, and how could you? You’ve hurt Jackie worse than what she was feeling when they were stuck out in the woods for those nineteen months. HOW could YOU? 

You try to explain that they were gone for over a year and that everyone thought they were dead, and you had to move on and get your life back to normal before they destroyed it. Twice. Jackie tells you that you’re going to break up with their little placeholder, but you stand your ground. To your surprise, they both leave after that, without a word. You finally feel like you can breathe and that they finally got the hint that you are no longer theirs.

But the next day your partner doesn’t text or call you, and you start to panic that maybe they didn’t want to be with you. They ghosted you after nine months together, and although realistically that made no sense, you still thought it. You cry yourself to sleep but are woken up to a thud, and to your surprise, both Jackie and Shauna are climbing through your window.

Obviously you jump up and panic, telling them to get the fuck out, but before you could threaten to call the cops, Shauna is rushing you and throwing you to the floor. She’s on top of you, wrapping her hands around your throat as Jackie is shutting and locking the window. She locks your bedroom door just in case you try to run before sitting on the ground next to you and Shauna. Shauna loosens her grip but keeps her hands around your throat as Jackie finally speaks up.

- Secretly really craves kindness and affection, and it will take *a lot* for him not to completely melt at things like cuddling. He'll smile to himself a lot and look at you sweetly when you aren't looking

- Is a big fan of affection and cuddling and after the initial newness and awkwardness wears off, and he'll be very open about it. Almost every time he sees you he'll just wave you over like come hither :^)

- If you touch him affectionately and casually, he'll almost follow your touch as you pull away, making how needy he is more obvious than he'd like

Candyman:

- So romantic, loves having you near to him in any way so if you're cuddly he won't mind

- Nothing with him is ever really casual so of course if you're expecting a relaxing and sweet time you're probably not going to get it with him lol

- He'll make your heart race and cheeks heat up easily, knowing exactly the right things to say to get a reaction out of you

- Gentle and affectionate, loves if you sit/lie in front of him, allowing him to have you wrapped up in his arms while he trails kisses along your neck/jaw and sends shivers down your spine with the way he talks to you

- Bo is not opposed to affection, he just isn't used to it. At least, nothing so sweet and genuine. He definitely wouldn't be opposed, try as he might to convince you otherwise

- You would pull him close, asking him to come and cuddle with you. His instinct would be to laugh and tease you a little, but he'd only manage a nervous laugh, complying so easily that it surprises you both

- He'd be surprisingly uncomfortable and awkward with this sort of thing. If you took the lead and wrapped him up in your arms he'd melt, slowly relaxing into you and resting his head against you

- He would feel so safe with you like that, eventually wrapping you up tight into his arms and not letting you go for quite a while. Those kinds of moments are rare with him but he'd appreciate them a lot

- Will give you lots of forehead/top of the head kisses, lazily draping his arm around you and even dosing off, signaling just how comfortable and safe he really feels around you

Vincent Sinclair:

- A little stiff and reserved about affection at first, especially anything like this. He would want to but you'd have to be the one to initiate it!

- That having been said, he'd be so happy once you did. It would still take him a bit to completely relax but he'd adore being so close to you like that

- Will love having you sit next to him, his head rested slightly on yours/on your shoulder, his arm wrapped around you, sweater sleeve slightly covering/bunched up in his hand

- Affection like that and hand holding, random touches, etc. will make his stomach twist into knots, and he'll be grateful you can't see how affected he really is under his mask

- Can easily stay like that for hours, though it's rare he'll fall asleep when you're cuddling at first. - And if you do the same for him? He will be a smiling, blushing mess, will wrap his arms tighter around you and hide his face in your neck

Graverobber:

- Mostly likes cuddles when he's sleepy, a lazy cuddler? Like if you want to snuggle up to him that's fine but that's as good as it's going to get lol

- Okay, maybe he'll wrap his arm around you too. And his leg. Now you're stuck though, good luck getting away for a while!

- Not the most talkative but happy to listen and nod along if you talk while he pats your head/plays with your hair

- Won't admit it, but he's got a soft spot and secretly wishes to be cared for and cuddled

- He'd be raving on when you'd just pull him over and completely shut him up, mouth pressing closed as he eyeballs you suspiciously

- Sometimes he likes being the more passive one, letting you cling to him and acting a little indifferent (he definitely isn't though), especially if you're out in public (like holding onto his arm, hand, etc.)

- Sometimes if he's in a mood he'll be putty in your hands, however, and is actually really needy for gentleness and affection like that

- Looks at you really lovingly anytime you give him affection, and adores if you play with his hair, pull him over without prompting to cuddle, wrap him up in your arms when he's sleeping, etc. Always notices more than you think and loves it

Pavi Largo:

- Constantly ready for any kind of physical affection lol

- Sweet affection like that, however, is different, especially coming from an S/O. He'd start out flirtatious and extra, quickly getting a little flustered at the sudden intimacy and sweetness of it

- He almost doesn't know what to do? He's not inexperienced but at the same time he is, at least with things like that

- Will just go with whatever you like, as he'd like pretty much anything you did. If you like to spoil him with affection and snuggles then he'll be delighted, lazily allowing himself to be doted over by you (all while he nervously rambles on and stares at you intently)

- But he'll like just as much to lie with you while you fall asleep, completely enamored with how casual and sweet you are with him. It's new and unfamiliar but in a good way!

Billy Lenz:

- Will keep you at arms length at first, despite how straightforward he is with his comments and such, because he'd be less comfortable with affection than he'd let on

- However, once he's comfortable, he's very clingy

- Like he'll actually just follow you around until you give up and stop for a while to pay attention to him lol. Of course he won't outright ask but you get the point pretty easily

- Kind of greedy, like yes he'll snuggle up to you but he likes to be spoiled. Loves to lay in your lap while you play with his hair and to be wrapped up in your arms

- Another one that won't easily let you go once he's comfortable, if you even shimmy around too much he'll lock his arms around you and pull you closer

Asa Emory (The Collector):

- As usual, it kind of depends? In general he won't mind cuddling because he'd be very fascinated by you and enjoys having you close, if even for unconventional reasons

- Kind of like Michael, will stare at you a lot. Don't mind him lol :^)

- Probably not the type to actually just sit still with you and cuddle, though. The time that's most likely to happen is when he's working as Asa, sitting on the couch and reading through things while you sit next to him

- At those times you'll snuggle up at his side, earning a disapproving (but not really) side-eye as he continues working, though eventually he'll give up and focus his attention on you instead

- As with anything with Asa, even cuddling can be kind of intense and nerve-wracking, mostly because of how intently he'll pay attention to you. Not the most tender unless he's in a rare mood (or sleepy asdflkj) and then he'll let himself be snuggled, or occasionally drape his arm over you and draw you in closer

Otis Driftwood:

- You really think he's gonna just sit there and cuddle with you? *Cuddle*? Well you're right >:(

- Those sorts of moments aren't as few and far between as you might think. He'll have his arm around you half the time anyway, but he'd like cuddling more than he'd admit, at least sometimes

- Especially if you're alone together in his room, he'll be less affectionate around others but when you're alone he'll love when you snuggle up to him, even if he sometimes pretends to be annoyed

- If you like cuddling that helps, if not he won't really initiate it himself most of the time

- Feels really comfortable snuggled up with you like that, however, as out of character as some of you might find that! I think he'd like having his S/O leaned up against him with his arm around them, playing with their hair or just absent-mindedly rubbing their arm a little while he rambles on about things

Charles Lee Ray:

- His initial reaction is similar to Otis. Like...um, Y/N? No. Well, maybe, if you insist. You don't insist? Um...Well, you want to anyway?

- Don't laugh 👀

- He'll never admit it but he can be very clingy and enjoys your attention, though he'll tease you and pretend he doesn't, at least at first

- Surprisingly can be pretty relaxed and maybe not 'sweet', but as close to it as he'll get. Will wrap his arm around you and grin if you rest your head on his shoulder or lean into him

- Sometimes he get in a rare mood in which he'll actually keep you to himself all day, enjoying your attention and affection more than he lets on. Will make no complaints if you're as affectionate as you like, it saves him the trouble of having to actually ask lol (also: likes having his hair played with x_x)

Tiffany Valentine:

- She'd adore affection, so she'd always be ready for cuddles lol (and she deserves them ok)

- If you initiate it first and invite her over to snuggle up with you? She'll melt, unable to stop smiling to herself as she wraps you up in her arms and quickly hides her face

- Can easily remain like that for hours, sometimes falling asleep

- Loves cuddling when you watch movies together, laying her head into your lap or pulling you into her arms while she plays with your hair

- Talkative anytime you cuddle, rambling on about random things. She can be really sweet and romantic, or really dark and sometimes goofy (would love to make you laugh/smile), but no matter what she'll love having you close like that

Josef (Creep):

- Very reluctant about affection and such. Not because he doesn't want it, but because he isn't used to it, and isn't used to being vulnerable around anyone

- You have to take the lead, pulling him close to you and wrapping him up in yourself. He'll be so stiff and unrelaxed at first, smiling over at you in an endearingly awkward way

- Once you get him to relax a little, he'll completely melt, nuzzling up and tangling his arms around you. He's still awkward but it's only because it's new to him and he isn't used to it

- Will either be completely silent or won't stop going on at times like that. If he's going on and you rearrange yourself, sliding up to him closer he'll lose his train of thought, laughing nervously and going quiet

- Probably falls asleep and snores really loudly like right in your ear though, sorry :/

Like, this small skittish human just wandering around silent hill/raccoon city and these monsters of men are just like, “You’re my friend now c:”. Reader is just startled/confused as to what’s happening, but at least they got a new body guard!

Nemesis & Pyramid Head w/ a Smol Friend

Nemesis

You weren’t STARS and you weren’t infected so he didn’t bother with killing you

Why you kept following him, he didn’t exactly know

At first he ignored it, continued on with his duties to eliminate his targets, make sure nothing got in his way

(Which you weren’t, you usually stayed behind him or to his side, he never felt that got in the way of his work)

It wasn’t until you got in trouble by one of the infected did he react

For some odd reason he saved you, which surprised the both of you no doubt

But from then on he made sure to keep a closer eye on you

Usually when things got too dangerous you’d run and hide some place, some place he used to not know since he didn’t care

But now he may offer aid in helping you hide in a secure location

Or depending on what the danger is, may put you on his shoulder/back to walk through

When there isn’t any issue, the streets long abandoned by now by those alive and the dead wandering wherever to amass

Nemesis tends to get a little more confused on what to do with you

Sometimes you wander and he just waits, has no idea what you’re doing but he assumes it’s for your own survival

Sometimes you don’t go far and he ends up staring at you because he assumes you need to do something

He’s not exactly meant as something to take care of another living being he’s the opposite so he doesn’t exactly know how to provide you with what even if you expressed it

If you ever need his help with things like moving barricades, breaking down doors, opening locked storages he can help

But with the whole eating thing an apple and a rat are the same thing to him, both are biodegradable and safe for consumption… to a degree…

He watches you drink water but sometimes fails to understand the water gathered in locations from rain isn’t always the safest be it infected with blood or just dirty from infrastructure

So when you run off to get those things for yourself since he’s not the greatest at it

Nemesis does enjoy watching you

Thinks you skittering about is entertaining, so careful, so cautious

It’s like having a small pet

Just one he can’t accidentally kill unless you somehow get under his feet

Pyramid Head

He had no interest in you

He was busy with other things, keeping order in Silent Hill, to pass judgement

And you had nothing for him to judge

You weren’t part of the cult church, ostracizing the other locals just for not being a part of their cult

You were someone meant to come here to face their past selves, face the decisions they made and the results of it

Really, he had no idea why you were here or how you ended up here (he doesn’t understand the concept of lost tourists lol)

You stayed away from him for a long while, tho he did notice you especially when night came and he did his routes

Watched you panic as you tried to hide from all the other monsters of Silent Hill

And for the longest time that wasn’t his problem

Until one day, if you reminded him of Alessa, that girl bullied by the terrible people of this town

Or maybe you reminded him of Vatiel, his leader and who he responds to

Whatever it was, one night as you scattered, he slowly made his way after you

He wasn’t trying to be menacing, just walking, but you still ran at first

But you got cornered and he caught up, watching as you screamed and ran back towards him from the monsters actually looking to harm you

You never did get far tho as he caught you instead, carrying you awkwardly by the waist under his arm as he worked to swing his knife with one arm

When your threat was gone he had grabbed you by the shirt, lifting you in front of his face for him to finally observe you closely

Without a word or threatening body language, he sat you back on the ground and petted your head

From then on you followed him and he went back to ignoring your presence

The only time he acknowledged you was if you were in danger or if you tried to wander too far

No building was to be entered without him and you weren’t allowed to go ahead of him and round corners

You may be new to Silent Hill but he’s not

And the dangers that linger in the shadows can be more dangerous than himself, especially if there’s many

So tho he may ignore you for the most part, he has to admit it’s nice having you around

- he would hesitate for a long time to tell you how he felt about you, but I think his friends would be really encouraging about it.

- speaking of, Hal does a lot of things to embarrass dirk and expose him for his affections to you, even while you’re dating.

What has been the BL that took you by surprise this year?

Love In The Air!

I remember watching the pilot trailer when it aired but truthfully I forgot about this show until everyone started talking about it again 😅 Anyways... I fell in love so fast it’s not even funny. My mental health has been meh at best the past few months and I needed a show like LITA to just watch without having to really think :) Also the cast? Like?! In love with all four of them (especially Noeul).

The Eclipse!

I watched ep 1 when it first came out but never continued the show because I wasn’t feeling it (little did I know 🤡). Everyone was hyping this show up so I made myself sit down and watch it... ended up binging all 6 (aired) episodes and safe to say I was hooked... I mean if anyone on here saw my blog you were probably fed up of me talking about this show (very sorry). So yeah... It’s now one of my favourite BLs. We won’t talk about the cast because I will never stop, lets just say I am now a Neo and khaotung fanpage!  

This technically doesn’t count but I finally watched Bad Buddy this year and I’m mad at myself for waiting so long.

What has been the BL that you felt a bit disappointed with this year?

Cutie Pie- I didn’t dislike it but I found myself getting bored and skipping a lot, especially towards the end... shout out to Perth in that black shirt tho😏 Also loved the side couples

Even Sun- Listen I will do anything for BounPrem but lord I was struggling with this one. Why was the intro so long?! also who wrote the script because ooft. Skipped everything apart from the BounPrem scenes. 

What has been your favourite BL this year?

KinnPorsche- Lets all act surprised! This show was my entire personality all summer and the reason I came back to tumblr lol. Met so many lovely and amazing people because of this show and it will always have a special place in my heart. It also gave us the masterpiece that is Why Don’t You Stay aka my most played song of 2022. Again the cast is everything to me! 

Semantic Error- No explanation needed for this one really. I swear Seoham has been in the military for years! Why is it going so slowly?! 

Between Us- Are we only 4 episodes in? Yes. Do I care? NOPE! After waiting almost 3 years they could just stand in that locker room arguing for 12 episodes and I would still watch every second! As much as i tried not to, I did and still do have high expectations for this show BUT so far everything is perfect- I don’t really care about Team’s friends as characters or the relationship between Bee and Prince? but I also don’t hate it.

honest first impressions of the litg s4 cast so far

male islanders:

james - he seems like a real sweetheart and earnest about finding something real in the show but then again so was ibrahim and look how that turned out LOL he also seems to have a default crush on mc? i don’t blame him tho tbh. but it’s definitely easy to rile him up and i can see him being flustered w most of the other bombshells too.

kobi - thankfully does not seem to be noah 2.0 given that he’s stuck with a wannabe hope. seems to still be open to coupling up w someone else but has settled for lexi bc she’s safe (aka waaay more into him, from his perspective). idk it’s fun to casually flirt w him bc he isn’t as averse to it like noah and seems to think it’s all in good fun.

will - i’m biased bc his aesthetic is sooo pleasing and i’m thinking of doing his route LOL. i was pleasantly surprised that he liked it if you went off on lexi since he seems too chill for that. not that he likes drama but he doesn’t care for anyone two faced - likes it more when you’re honest about things which is v refreshing coming from a bobby route in s2. will be voted as most afraid of commitment though i’m calling it and i can’t wait for that drama to start

hazeem - seems like a nice dude but dear god his mustache is terrifying and i have no idea how that’s attractive honestly. feels like the “always the mate” of the season. i really don’t have much of an opinion about this dude except that he has great taste in women apparently!

female islanders

lexi - a definite hope 2.0 and i won’t be surprised if she kept watching season 2 religiously and tweeted “it should have been nope 😕” god i love riling her up so much i kind of wish she wasn’t paired w kobi so i could steal her man lol is she an li bc i will die if she’ll be a frenemies to lovers route come on my dudes

najuma - SHE’S FUN, SHE’S FLIRTY, AND SHE’S HERE TO HAVE A PARTY. i’m pretty sure that the reason najuma and will decoupled was bc they really couldn’t see a future w each other and respected that. she seems ready to shake things up but it definitely is not w hazeem. lowkey wish that her 2nd LI is a female islander honestly!

angie - seems super cool but likely the guy she has an eye on will be a bombshell too. she just doesn’t seem to be vibing w the guys romantically. chill and not about drama but doesn’t really look away from it. i don’t really have much of an opinion about her but i love her aesthetic and think she’ll be a good friend.

thabi - she’s so sweet and everything hannah could have been! i almost feel bad about choosing will but he’s the only one so far that’s caught my eye LOL but she doesn’t seem to have any hard feelings and i appreciate that she doesn’t think too badly of the mc when you do tell her that you’re just playing the game. honestly i think will might be awkward around her and likely knows about her little crush. u can cut the tension w a butter knife and it’s not really the good kind of tension u feel me

mc - give this girl a tv did she not watch the show?? we usually have like inside gossip of our own from bombshells (e.g. chelsea). but also i’m just assuming that the footages haven’t been post processed yet so the public is likely still on episode 1 when the mc drops in. anyway i appreciate that we can get options for a kind of “do no harm, but take no shit” attitude.
