My friends often ask me why I just don't come out to my parents, even reaching a point of almost condemning me for not doing so, as if my literal life wouldn't depend on their opinion on the matter.

Yeah, they probably wouldn't kill me or throw me out, but they'd be total assholes about it, stuff like: "it's not real" , "you're being manipulated" , "it's not natural" or "listen to the pastor he'll help you see the way of god".

As if stuff like this wouldn't end up hurting me too.

My mom tells me all the time this about everyone in the queer community, just referring to us as the other Side. It's just hard to have a debate about whether or not we have a place in the world. Like, do you even listen to what you're saying??

Your literal god asked you to love everyone, to respect them, but you keep condemning us as if we were some kind of error, as if we shouldn't be allowed to live. You know, I think that Willow standing up for Luz without hesitation in the face of an angry guardian might actually shed a bit of light on Amity’s choice to conceal the fact that it was her parents who wanted to end their friendship. Knowing that Willow might be willing to put herself at risk in that way if she knew the truth must have been a terrifying prospect for Amity, given the circumstances!

Being around Willow definitely gave Amity a strong foundation in knowing how friends should treat one another that the other rich kids probably didn’t get. Willow is a good friend.

Pro tip for people with depression: go to a garden or even to a hardware store like Lowe's. A place that has a lot of flowers and plants and bright colors. It won't cure or get rid of depression, but it will help lift your mood. I went to Lowe's with my mom and we entered through the gardening section. Going through the aisles of flowers and plants really helped my mood, and I'm not kidding, I felt serotonin. I feel really good right now. I've been really stressed and even upset this week, so I really needed something like this. It even felt special to be there. So I highly recommend going somewhere that has flowers, plants, grass, trees, something like that. It can help with your mood!!! And you can even get some sunshine while you're there, too. 😊

Y'all I know that when so-called AI generates ridiculous results it's hilarious and I find it as funny as the next guy but I NEED y'all to remember that every single time an AI answer is generated it uses 5x as much energy as a conventional websearch and burns through 10 ml of water. FOR EVERY ANSWER. Each big llm is equal to 300,000 kiligrams of carbon dioxide emissions.

LLMs are killing the environment, and when we generate answers for the lolz we're still contributing to it.

Stop using it. Stop using it for a.n.y.t.h.i.n.g. We need to kill it.
