alright so way back in early 2022 I read the chainsaw man manga for the first time... I was getting really into reading manga, and my friend suggested since I enjoyed the jjk series, I should read chainsaw man next.

and from the minute I saw aki in chapter three I was like yeah... this is mine... this will be my favorite character. because he ticks all the boxes for everything I typically like. sharp dressed in a suit, his hair is up so when you see it down you're like woah, smokes cigarettes.... I thought his kon power was so cool, and I liked his backstory and how he was more than just a stereotypical cold hearted character

as I kept reading, I liked him more and more, even though he was always my favorite character from the start. but after I finished the manga, aka after aki completed his full arc and I saw all of his story unfold, that's when it really clicked for me.

like I didn't realize it was happening to me until after I finished the manga and I was like wow... that manga was really good... but why is cute and handsome topknot man the only thing I can think about (spoiler alert it was my autism HAH)

and then I went ahead and read the manga for a second time, and that just made me love him even more... I realized things about him I didn't the first time..... the thoughts spiraled out of control... I read the manga for a THIRD time and found that my gallery was quickly becoming only screenshots of him... then I got tired of reading the same couple x reader fanfics that were out for him, so I decided I'd write my own, and the rest is history

You're probably the best thing that has ever happened in Noah's life. He wishes he was exaggerating, but that's the way he felt about you. He has no doubt you love him as much as he loves you, he just wanted you to love him in the same way.

He doesn't remember when his feelings went from loving you as a friend to loving you as something more. But everyday he saw you, he wished he could introduce you as his girlfriend and not just his friend.

Realistically, he knew it wasn't gonna happen. You've been in a series of dates these past few months, every single one of them ended disastrously, with you crying on his shoulder and saying you were giving up on men. But then the cycle repeated itself and he was left wondering what he would do if you just gave him a chance.

He was trailing behind you at the Farmer's Market, watching you pick fresh tomatoes and putting them in your bag.

"Are you making lasagna tonight?", he asked you, looking around him aimlessly, trying to remember if he needed to pick something up for himself.

"Yes, I am", you answered, but kept picking tomatoes. He must have counted six or seven already.

"Are you feeding an army of people? Why do you need so much tomato sauce?" he finally asked you, confusion laced in his voice.

"I might have company tonight for dinner", you said, sheepishly looking at him. He felt his stomach drop. Not only did you have a date tonight, but you were making them your special lasagna recipe?

"Who is it?" he still held out hope that you would said you just invited some friends over, but he knew that wasn't the case.

"He is a friend of a friend. I've been talking to him for a few days now"

You've been talking to him for only a few days? And you were already cooking for him and inviting him inside your house? His jealousy turned into concern.

"You've met him before, right? Like, met him in real life, went out with him?" he needed to make sure you weren't inviting a complete stranger into your home.

"This is our first date, I actually haven't met him. But all my friends told me he's really nice", you told him, as if there wasn't a problem in what you're doing.

"Y/N, look at me right now", he demanded, snatching some tomatoes from your hand and putting them back in their place. "You're inviting a complete stranger that you've never met before into your house and you don't see a problem in that at al?", he waved his hand around in a exasperated manner.

"Noah, he isn't a complete stranger, my friends know him and he's been nice to me so far", you argued.

"Yeah, I bet hell is full of nice people as well", he rubbed his forehead in stress. "I know that no matter what I say, you're not cancelling this stupid date. Just make sure you have your phone close to you and if he starts acting weird, you call me", his voice was firm, and he even grabbed your shoulder for emphasis.

"I promise I'll call you", you reassured him. Your heart tugged at his concern for you.

When you became friends with Noah, you knew right away that he would be trouble for your heart. You were instantly infatuated with him, his kind eyes and funny personality. It didn't take long at all for him to capture your heart.

But only a few weeks after knowing him, he started dating someone, and you didn't even have time to shoot your shot. So you decided to will your feelings away, even if it was the hardest thing you would ever do in your life.

You watched from afar and how he interacted with his girlfriend at the time. The way he cared for her and the way he looked at her with so much adoration in his eyes. You wished that for you, and if you couldn't have that with him, you would find someone else who could provide it for you.

Ever since then, he has broken up with his girlfriend and you've been on countless failed dates. Even though he's your best friend, he kept the reason for the break up strangely vague. You always thought it was weird, but never pressed on the subject.

Him, on the other hand, kept replaying in his head the words his ex-girlfriend told him the day she broke up with him.

"In the months we've been together, you haven't been able to tell me you love me. But you don't hesitate to say it to her"

He remembers the way she reffered to you in venomous way.

"I think you're with the wrong person and it shows. Everyone can tell you're in love with her and not me"

He kept quiet, not really able to argue with that. She was right, but he wasn't going to admit that to her face. So she left and never came back. He doesn't blame her, he guesses it's cruel staying with someone who loves someone else.

He wanted to be sad about the break up, but it was evident he was more relieved than anything. You asked questions and he kept the answers vague until you dropped the subject entirely, and you never spoke of it again.

"When is he arriving at your house?", he asked you.

"I told him around 8pm. I should have plenty of time to get everything ready by then", you said as you went about picking some other ingredients you needed.

The rest of the visit to the Farmer's Market was quiet. You knew Noah was in a sour mood now compared to when you arrived, but you left him to his devices when strayed to look at some seasonings for himself. He never strayed too far from you anyway.

He dropped you off at home after you left, you told him goodbye and went up the stairs. You had a lasagna to make.

As Noah sulked on the couch, he wondered what would be the best time to head to your house. If the dude was arriving at 8pm, he should probably be there but 7:45pm at least.

Looking at the clock and seeing it was barely 3pm, he let his thoughts drift back to you once again. If it was so obvious to everyone that he was in love with you, why could you not notice it? Or did you notice it and decided to ignore it? Why were you so adamant in getting a boyfriend? Were you not happy by yourself?

He was being ridiculous, you wouldn't be alone your whole life. Eventually you would find someone, marry them and have kids, and he would be just your best friend for the rest of his life. He wondered how he could find a girlfriend, marry and have his own family if he was so hung up on you.

He decided to take a shower and have a bite to eat. Sitting around wasn't doing him any good.

You had put the lasagna in the oven and was now taking a shower to start getting ready. You weren't as excited for this date as you thought you would be. Going on dates actually got old for you a while back, so you promised yourself this would be the last one, and if it didn't work out, you wouldn't try anymore.

Even though you feeling a little down before your date even arrived, you put effort into your makeup and outfit, not going overboard since you would be staying at home after all, so you went with something casual.

You checked the food from time to time, the delicious scent filling the whole apartment as you waited.

On the way to your house, since he had a bit to spare, he picked up some hamburgers and fries. It wasn't as good as your heavenly lasagna that the prick would eat, but it had to do.

He parked a bit to the left of your apartment entrance, on the other side of the street, and settling himself in his car, he waited. As much as he wanted, he wouldn't crash your date. He just wanted to be as close as possible, just in case this dude tried anything and you actually needed to call him. If your date lasted hours, he would stay parked outside your place.

Just a little before 8pm, a sleek black sedan - a BMW, if he was being specific - parked outside your place. He buzzed the intercom and waited for you to buzz him in.

So he was also an entitled rich guy? Maybe he was a finance dude? He made a mental note to ask you later.

He could see two shadows from the window in your apartment. He looked away, not taking chances in seeing things that would only disappoint him. And he didn't even know if you kissed on the first date, but hoped not.

It was now 9pm and he had finished his burgers and fries, the wrapper thrown carelessly on the passenger seat. You must be having dinner now, right? Maybe the dude would leave by 10pm?

10pm rolled around and there were no signs of the guy leaving. He was beginning to get restless, not able to find a comfortable position on the car seat. He contemplated calling you, but two hours was a reasonable amount of time for a date, he thinks.

Thirty minutes later - yes, he was watching the clock very closely - his phone buzzed on his lap, your nickname and face flashing on his screen. He could've sworn he's never picked up a phone so fast in his life.

"Hey, is everything ok?", he said right out the gate.

"Yeah, everything's fine. It's just", you hesitated for a moment. "He doesn't wanna leave? We had dinner and we've talked plenty and I don't know how to tell him that I just want him to leave already", he could tell you didn't want to be rude. Lucky for you, he didn't have that problem.

"Where is he right now?", he asked you.

"He's in the bathroom. Can you just call me with an emergency or something? Just so I can have an excuse?", he could to that, but he was already outside your place.

"I'll just show up at your apartment. It would be more effective", he argued.

"You don't have to drive all the way here, a call is fine", you tried to convince him.

"That's not a problem at all. I'll be there soon"

"Ok then. Listen, he's leaving the bathroom. I'm waiting for you", you said hurriedly and hung up the phone.

He thought of a plan of action as his eyes settled on a bottle of water he was drinking from earlier in the day. He splashed some water on his cheeks, as well as on his eyes. Locking his car, he walked over to the entrance of your building, buzzing your apartment number.

You picked up and he got himself ready to put on his best act. Pretending to be crying, he told you through the intercom.

"Oh my god, Y/N, you're not gonna believe what just happened", he said, in a fake desperate voice.

"Noah? What is going on?", you asked, just as desperate.

"Furry, my cat, just got got ran over by a car, oh my god, I'm so devastated", he "cried" harder, trying to not to laugh at the same time.

"Oh my, that's horrible. I'll let you come up and we can talk about it", you buzzed him in and he took the stairs two at a time, arriving at your door and knocking rapidly. You opened the door and the sight before you was comical. He had "tear" stains all over his cheeks and his lips were downturned like a cartoon character. You hugged him for effect and whispered a "thank you" on his ear.

Your date stood in your living room, awkwardly watching the scene unfold before him. "Hmm, I gues I'll go? Let you deal with it?", he said as you parted from the hug and turned to look at him.

"Yeah, I think that's best. I'll text you?", you told him, trying to sound as if you were sorry your date was cut "short".

He made his way to the door, you and Noah making space for him to leave. "I'm sorry for your loss, man", he patted Noah on the shoulder, you could hear in his voice that he was truly sorry for this imaginary cat that just died. Noah only nodded in a solemn display of sadness.

"I'll buzz you out", you let him know as he was making his way to the staircase. You closed the door and you and Noah fell into a fit of giggles, both clutching your stomachs and doubling over in laughter.

"Oh my god, that was Oscar worthy", you clutched his arm, still laughing.

"What can I say? I'm truly talented", he said as he threw his imaginary hair back. You led him to sit on the couch and told him you would change into some more comfortable clothes and be right back.

You put on your sweatpants and a sweatshirt that probably belonged to Noah, but has been in your closet for such a long time that you couldn't really tell anymore. Making your back to the living room, you sat beside him, grabbing the controller for the TV and opening Netflix.

"How did you get here so fast?", you asked him as you browsed through the movies and series, trying to find something interesting to watch. When he didn't answer you, you looked at him, thinking he didn't hear you. But he was looking back at you, struggling to answer.

"I was already parked outside your building?", he was unsure of what your response would be to this information.

"You were what?", your voice wasn't angry, you were actually amused.

"When you told me you were inviting this guy to your place, I got worried. I mean, we hear stories everyday and it's scary. So I though if I was close by, and you called me saying that something happened, I would already be here"

You were at a loss for words. You couldn't believe that this man was parked outside your place, probably for hours, just because he was worried about you. You went out with guys who wouldn't pay the bill, or even pick up and drive you back to your place when you went on a date. And here Noah was, blowing your mind as per usual.

Your bar was low for a while when it came to men in general. But you reminded yourself that the person before you never let you down, he actually raised the bar so high that no other person could ever reach it.

"That's really sweet of you, thank you", you said and you were as sincere as you could be. "I'm really glad I have you looking out for me"

Noah cleared his throat, wanting to change the subject, suspecting you were just about to friendzone him.

"So how was this guy? Was the date ok?", he asked you, even though he didn't really wanna hear about it.

"He was ok. He was everything people told me about. But I guess my heart just wasn't in it?" you moved your body sideways, so you were facing him.

"Why not?"

"I guess I'm just tired of looking for the one", a big sigh left your lips at this admission.

Noah felt like this was now or never. He could fuck up your entire friendship within seconds. But he couldn't live with this anymore.

"You keep looking, but I think what you need is right before your eyes and you just never realized it", he watched as your brows furrowed.

"What do you mean?"

"I could make you the happiest girl in the world and you keep going out with these guys who won't even bother to know the first thing about you"

Silence fell upon you after he said this. The reality of his words sunk into you. You knew Noah could make you the happiest girl, and he already did, but you never imagined he would ever mean it in a romantic way. He could sense your confusion.

"Why do you think my last relationship ended?", he questioned you.

"Because you were on the road a lot and it didn't work out? That's what you told me"

"It was because she could tell I was so in love with you that I didn't have space in my heart for anyone else. So she left me"

You were shocked by his revelation.

"You're in love with me?" your voice was dazed, not actually believing the words falling from his lips.

"For someone so smart, you're such a silly girl at times", he teased you, not wanting to think about the fact that you could let him down any second now.

"Noah, you have no idea how long I've wanted to hear this", your eyes were misty with tears as he leaned closer.

"And I've been wanting to tell you this for a long time. I'm sorry I let you go out with these fools for this long"

You stayed gazing into each others eyes, his hand came up to your face and started stroking your cheek. You scootched yourself closer to him, your faces only inches apart.

"Noah", you whispered to him and he hummed, too entranced with you this close to give a verbal answer. "Kiss me, please", you didn't ask, rather demanded, and you didn't need to say it twice. His lips landed on yours firmly, and he clutched the back of your neck to press your faces together. There was an urgency in the kiss as you moved in the pace he set.

Opening your mouth, you gave him permission to slip his tongue past your lips, making the kiss even more heated. Soon, your presence beside him wasn't enough and you made a move to climb onto his lap, but hesitated halfway, unsure of how far he wanted to take this.

But his hands landing on your thighs told you everything you needed to know, as you swung a leg over his, both knees resting on the couch. Your breath was picking up and so was his, and you parted to let some air into your lungs.

I have a few canon stories with the DCA x Reader on my Ao3 but nothing as grand or long as my AUs! I do have a 'canon' story plotted but I don't know when I'll write it. Hopefully one day!

It's going good (aside from the roof ;-;) I have this week of school before we go on break for Thanksgiving and it can't come soon enough!

Shaking your hand so hard rn!! I love AUs! And a spooky ghost one? Oh ho, I've always wanted to write a domestic monster scenario!

Perhaps Y/N moves into an old, old house with steep roofs, pointed arches above the windows and doors, and a lovely porch. It's two and a half stories tall (the half story is attic space under the roof rafters) with a four-story central spired tower! All dark wood and even darker interiors. You can't desire if it's Dracula's castle or a fairytale home for the happily ever-after-ed prince and princess. It's even got a secret underground tunnel! What more do you need when flipping a home? You love restoration and you intend to keep all its gothic charm while updating it to be, well, livable.

It's also incredibly cheap! Like, stupid cheap, for something that should be incredibly pricey for its prestige style and historical value. Not that you've ever looked a gift horse in the mouth, but even you have second thoughts before ultimately snatching up the house key.

The first night is always unsettling—maybe you hear a voice whisper in your ear despite it being dead silent and there's not a soul for miles, but you'll brush that off as getting spooked by old ghost stories your brain conjures up within the ornate decorated rooms.

From there, things get stranger and stranger still. Your paintbrush is moved and you know you didn't set it there because of the wet paint dripping onto the floor. The electricity is ever fickle, turning off at the most opportune moments during the night, like when you swear you saw a figure standing at the end of the hallway, all thin and scraggly with a ghostly smile and an inhuman head framed with wavering energy that almost seems to glow like embers in the dark!

Still, you continue your repairs and restorations, sometimes softly talking to yourself out loud and talking to the house like it's a wounded animal you intend to restore back to its fittest with all the love you can pour out of your heart. Places need love, too.

The most obnoxious thing is that you can't access the tower—the door is always locked, and no matter what key you try, it refuses to budge. You don't dare risk causing damage by prying it open, but you swear you'll get into that tower one day. There's got to be treasure inside with how mysteriously it stands, just out of your reach. Though, you've mostly put it aside for now. Whenever you jingle keys in the lock, you swear you hear a voice grow angry with you, and the hallway becomes so cold you can see your breath.

So, yeah, you're saving that for later.

The pivotal moment of you even considering a haunting is one night when you find yourself overwhelmed and stressed from the ever-growing list of chores and how everything is falling apart faster than you can fix it. You dissolve on the living room floor into thick tears. You're usually so put together, even when alone. You hate crying. There's no one to hold you together except yourself, so why fall apart in the first place?

Your little moment of getting it out is interrupted when a quilt falls over your shoulders. A soft, heavy quilt of midnight skies and dotted pale blue stars that was never in this room.

You leap to your feet, quilt falling away, and call out in classic horror victim fashion, "Who's there?" but no one answers. In frozen terror, you stare at the room, expecting something, anything to jump out or scream at you, but it's so, so quiet. All is still, like apologetic comfort.

That couldn't have happened. No draft, no forgetfulness could explain how a quilt was draped over you as if by a concerned friend.

You stare at the quilt and decide that you've had a long day. You go to your room, unable to relax even once you're under the covers, feeling something cold and misty above your bed.

When you wake in the morning, that starry quilt is draped over your lying form. You did not put it there.

The Final Chapter of Noragami

I'll start off by saying no matter what, this is my favorite manga/anime series. It'll always be near and dear to my heart. And thank you again to @fast-moon who has put so much time in effort into this series so that we would be able to read it in English ASAP.

But here are my honest thoughts, below the cut

There are far too many open ends. As a writer and a fan, I get that it's good to leave things pretty open ended and give fans a chance to explore possibilities. But there was too much here.

Something that struck me during my read of the translation (as I read the raws about an hour beforehand) was the absence of Nana. Arahabaki and Shiho are at the hanami, why not her? Especially since she's got a bond with Bishamon as well.

Is Nora just a free agent, doing whatever she wants? We see that Yukine still has his Hagusa name, so clearly she would still have Mizuchi. And we know Yato can't re-name her. Does she spend time with Yato and Yukine at Kofuku's house? Is she Yato's secret agent in watching over Hiyori? lol

Kazuma is the only one (aside from Nana) who survived the God's Greatest Secret without being named with the koto no ha. How is he dealing with it? Is he also having nightmares like Yukine?

Yato being 'saved' by going viral is a bit dumb especially because the posts are like "wow this guy is doing like a 10 year old meme lame" etc so it didn't seem like it should have blown up much anyway? and he also says no one actually remembers 'him'/uses his name just Teke-Teke so how does that... actually help Yato? Granted he didn't die and he has a smartphone now but I feel like he would... actually have to really be acknowledged to get money and have a shrine other than Hiyori's shrine (which btw what happened to THE DAMN SHRINE??? its on the cover but the chapter??? absent)

"I'll give you all of me" and dramatic crying/kiss but then Yato just seems so... detached. granted I KNOW it's because of the near shore/far shore and he doesn't want to endanger her again and just looks over her and it's a trope that's been in a million fanfics including mine but it just feels so off and bluh to NOT GET ANY RESOLUTION OTHER THAN HIYORI JUST RECOGNIZING HIM and then a line in the journal about how he tried to play it off.

I can't even think of everything tbh there's just a lot I want answered that wasn't...

I would say the best part of this chapter was the stuff about Fujisaki. It finally answered that he was 'born' with Father present inside of him and they kind of switched back and forth. Although again that leaves the question of how much was Fujisaki and how much was Father in terms of hitting on Hiyori/how much did Fujisaki know about Father's antics. Overall, this was definitely my favorite episode so far! The team is getting better each and every episode! SOOO much happened here!! I'm super excited to see what happens next!!

Okay, THEORY TIME!!

-Okay so to start lightly, so far, all the episodes we've seen contain:

-Okay, Alot of people have been talking about Jax being an NPC, and I wanna bring up my opinion on this:

As I mentioned earlier, he always breaks the 4th wall, witch could be seen as a character in a game being like "What do YOU think?" *Insert Game Options here*

I saw another theory saying that if this is true, Jax might be self aware or sentient to some degree, and This is why he tortures everyone. He knows that this world Revolves around the players and nit him so he wants to make them more miserable.

As one of many Caine angst connisuars on this platform, I really enjoyed this scene...

Caine knows that he only exists to make adventures and if he can't do it well enough than he serves ZERO purpouse and his existence is useless... (he's just like me fr)

This has SO MUCH POTENTIAL FOR A SERIES FINALE.

Since in each episode we've (mostly) seen a character being comforted (mostly Either Pomni being comforted OR someone being comforted BY Pomni)

What if the last episode had Caine and Pomni having a heart to heart?

Someone abstracts, (Ragatha or Kinger probably,) and it's Caine's last straw. He finally breaks and the circus goes into ruins. Pomni does her best to comfort him. This could go one of two ways:

Either she sucseeds and happy ending for everyone :D

OR, they fail and The Circus is destroyed, Taking Caine down with it.

Maybe then that would be how they escape cuz if Caine is emotionaly attached to the circus, it would be completely destroyed or erased if Caine finally broke...

The angst potential is crazy...

Vee's Studies!

I'm like, kind of obsessed with them lmao. While I've drawn Vox quite a lot (I've been working on a Vox animation thing over the last month-ish) I hadn't done much of anything when it came to Val and Vel. I knew I'd want to do something with them all later on, but I wanted to get a good understanding of their designs, shape language, and the differences between the three of them so I can play a lot more when it comes to doing them (heh) in my own style.

So, since I was most familiar (and most obsessed with out of the three lol), I started with Vox :3

While I've been working on the animation project, it had kind of been an 'adjust-as-I-go'/'let's-bullshit-this' process, rather than doing the work of understanding why certain things looked more correct than others, so I still learned a LOT from this one study. (Plus the scene makes me wheeze and I happily took the excuse to use that moment as his study reference haha)

Obviously Val is... an asshole, to really undersell it. But this is hell, his character is interesting and his design is immaculate. I think I had the most fun with studying him tbh. Without his santa wings-coat he- *coughs* - yeah. Uh. Good design. I can actually believe that Angel fell for him at one point. Manipulative bastard - sorry tangents. ANYWAY! XD

VERY fun to draw, and a very good balance within these designs of showing off character attributes but also not taking themselves too seriously (The HATS these boys wear! *wheeze* did Velvette just give up fighting them on it? I've gotta know haha)

I missed color too much by this point to make them all match perfectly, and frankly - trying to draw canon Velvette without hue differentiation is AWFUL she has so many details and overlapping elements. If I ever have to draw Vel from 1x03 again I might cry.

Something about her 1x03 look actually makes me feel viseral irritation just by seeing it (like, even b4 I made myself draw it), but then I see her in 1x08 and I wanna draw her forever???? She's so fucking cool? So fucking cute????? The duality of man ig lmao

Anyway, the TLDR is that actually being conscious of how things are represented when drawing a character can lead to surprisingly immense insight... I feel like I not only understand so much more about how to represent their characters, but also a much firmer grasp about how the shape language in the show works.

These designs are immaculate and I had so much fun. I actually have a lot more I could say about this, but my period came today and I'm tired and this post is already massive so I'll leave things here for now! But yeah! Hopefully more Vee's in the future bc I love them!

ye ye! I guess I'll refer to G1 (cartoon) Cyclonus by large

favorite thing about them: the most nuanced bitch this side of the cartoon! Decepticons constantly pull themselves down by only looking out for themselves and being conniving little shits to each other instead of only their enemies (and that's the point) but here you have a complete inversion, a Decepticon (second-in-command, no less) who is LOYAL. not only loyal, but selfless, by their standards?? nothing matters to Cyclonus beyond Galvatron, the Decepticon cause, and combat. he should be a force of nature but is rendered inert by an incapable leader because he just wants to follow. He's a warrior first and foremost but he gets to basically be in charge and isn't dumb muscle, e.g. he knows psychology (or at least how to work a crowd). Cyclonus is one year old and yet feels like he personally met Roman gladiators or something, he's great. A character of visible, textual multitudes in the G1 cartoon, which was notoriously allergic to nuance

least favorite thing about them: bro, the character assassination, like in Headmasters anime or the comics. I know by and large the Decepticons are dumb as hell, but I get like personally offended when chars are just dumbed the hell down for the sake of a joke or to facilitate the plot. If you have to do that, just pick more-fitting character or come up with a justification, fr. you'd think watching G1 five times in a row would inoculate me to this, but no. (for the record, his weird amplified cowardice I'm counting as stupidity) This doesn't apply to like, gag manga, that's the whole point of them

least favorite thing about them pt 2: that last answer felt like cheating so I guess while I like both demon and final designs, I hate how held back his final design is! I joke about the Unicronian legs being fine af, but he had curvier legs and they took them away. His neck is blank and featureless, so is his face. He looks fine this way, but there were so many interesting details they could have kept even when making him look more uniform with previous character designs. I guess I can thank AKOM for once, for letting us see his old design in motion lol

favorite (serious) line: damn. if I gotta pick? I guess for characterization: [out of breath] "It has been too long since I had an opponent that was worthy of my FULL attention..." or alternatively, "Galvatron...!" said like Roger C. Carmel is crying in the sound booth purely just for the line delivery

favorite (silly) line: "Everybody's gotta be somewhere..." [casually waltzes past a guy Scourge just roundhoused through a screen]

brOTP: I used to joke that Cyclonus and Scourge are at most drinking buddies to me, and I learned that's literally how they met in IDW

OTP: G1? CycMags. The rituals are intricate. It's about the symmetry. Two second-in-commands, more competent than their not-up-to-the-task leaders, the Soldier and the Warrior. They pointedly unname each other. They get petty when they're in the same space together. Cyclonus saved Ultra Magnus' life so that he could end it himself. He's sure he'll win but is perfectly open to Magnus ending him. Cyclonus views him as an equal, and despite the attempts on each other's lives, that is what makes it healthier than...

NOTP: Cyclonus/Galvatron. he's down so bad but it's obviously one-sided. he can do MUCH better, he just doesn't want to. Cyclonus won't consider any other options...... unless

random headcanon: he's prone to parroting. if someone uses a particular word or phrase, he'll use it in a sentence soon after, and phrased exactly the same way too. then it just becomes part of Cyclonus' vocabulary forever. which is how you get a guy who uses words like "vanquish" and "insolent" also saying things like "wimps" and "losers"

unpopular opinion: I'm so not with the silly ear interpretation of his horns. It's cute, and I'll make some jokey references to it, or have characters refer to them as such (derisively) but I'm insistent that they're horns. He's based off a demon, the Unicronians are clearly made in Unicron's image, they're horns. I'm a bigger fan of the wings swiveling up and down

Ok, I decided to create a mini-column for this blog, namely the personal cry of the soul of the simp, or "This character is my wife, and I'll explain why!".

That's right, I will heartily write in posts about why I like this or that character so much! And hardly anyone will shut me up, because this world needs more posts with positive reviews about the Persians. And the first wife who will become my first post will be Jon Arbuckle from the animated series "Garfield and Friends"! I want to talk specifically about Jon from this cartoon, because he appeared in it much more often and showed a character, and I'm afraid to watch 3d animated series based on Garfield. Well, I'll also warn you that the post was created on emotions, so I'll be dumb at times.

Well, I definitely know that the simps will gather under this post… Hello people, I know you are unlikely to pass by this post, because I will lick the character. If anything, you can write your impressions about the character under this post. Maybe you want to add new things or just share your opinion.

He's cute.

Like… Both in appearance and character. He is funny, awkward, clumsy, and most importantly, he is quite a good guy. Yes, he does all sorts of shit or any nonsense, but that's what Jon is all about, half of Garfield's humor is almost based on this, that he's a loser and a hopeless romantic, and I'm not surprised anymore. But in fact, he does this job perfectly, I really love him with flaws than without them, otherwise I would not be perceived by me as a person with flaws and strange hobbies. Sometimes you look at him and think, "fuck, man, how do I understand you…". And yes, to some extent I like pathetic and nervous men, who are sometimes capable of doing crazy things (and he can also whimper).

2. Attitude towards pets.

All right, jokes aside, AHEM. But there is some truth in every joke, so he still DIL-

I like that in this cartoon he sometimes appears to Garfield and other pets as a parental figure (although unsurprisingly, Garfield in some cases behaves like a typical troubled teenager, but without whining, and I also find this charming). True, he is not perfect at all, but still he takes care of his dear boys, and in no other way! And he probably has almost the strongest patience with Garfield, lol. Because if I had such a cat, I might not have been able to stand it and would have gone to a mental hospital myself.- But okay, it's too loud about the latter.

3. Voice.

I don't know if I should mention it, but of course I will. For me personally, his voice is like that... Gentle and pleasant.

4. An apron makes a man 20% more attractive!

I don't know why, but I like that when cooking food, he puts on this little apron lol. But that's not the only reason I've highlighted this item, because I also want to highlight his culinary abilities. Because… Dude, he can cook! Forget about those words that he doesn't know how to cook, it's a complete fucking lie. Jon can cook many dishes at once! And this is just for the sake of feeding the cat.

So if you suddenly work late and come home, then you obviously won't stay hungry, because the same tired Jon managed to cook dinner (and most importantly, make it to dinner, otherwise Garfield will finish before you lol).

5. Dancing

I think it's not worth talking about it, everyone has known about this dance for a long time. BUT HEY, I'LL SAY IT. HE WAS FUCKING AWESOME.

His plastic body, smug face, movements, and this shot of him opening his jacket and a tie with his pet on his chest… The dude literally revealed his whole wonderful essence. I mean it… I am an insecure person myself. I would never go out dancing in front of people, because I can't dance and it sucks. BUT THIS LOSER MAN DID IT, AND HE GETS A KICK OUT OF IT! HE DOESN'T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT PEOPLE, HE JUST DANCED. THIS IS MY HOT WIFE EEEEEEEEE-

And I'm sorry that this post came out… It was enough for the little ones, although I could paint everything down to all sorts of little things like interests and other things, but I wrote everything I wanted. For me, Jon seems to have become a comfortable character, and I still don't fully understand why this is so (or is it my hyperfixation). But as long as he makes me happy, I dare not object to anything. And I lived up to the name of this blog, lol.

Okay, here goes nothing. Some spoilers ahead.

Today will be my first time rewatching "Rise of the titans".

Context of the first time I watched this movie: I binged Trollhunters and 3Bellow in a month while preparing a final exam, and Wizards was my reward the same day I took it. They were literally my emotional support during that awful month, and I'll always be thankful for them. Even 3B, although I didn't enjoy it as much as the others and seemed endless, it served to keep me company and distract me a little from the stress. So, when the movie was confirmed, I was super excited. I talked a lot with two of my friends who watched the series, and arranged with one of them to watch the movie together the night it came out with a Netflix party. It didn't end well.

As I said, Trollhunters was a very important emotional support. Not just because of that month, but because everytime I felt down, I watched my favorites episodes, the one that made me laugh, and the one that made me cry, "Hero with a thousand faces" and "Jimhunters". So what did I do when the movie ended?

I cried from the anger. I cried because they erased everything I loved, like all the things that helped me feel better were absolutely nothing. I cried because I had lost something that made me feel good, complete, and had been left with a hole in my chest. Yeah, I could still watch the series whenever I wanted, but then I'll remember "oh yeah, this is pointless, Jim's not the Trollhunter and will never be, and all of this will never happen" aaaaand I would cry again. It's like, why did I even watch Jim overcome his fears, his insecurities, form bonds, grow up, if none of this will ever happen? Just to have the knowledge that Jim remembers everything and will suffer from it? Yeah no, fuck you.

I know it sounds dramatic, but I've always felt strong emotions towards the things I formed a strong emotional bond with. I remember sending my friend voice messages crying my heart out and then falling asleep completely drained.

So, yeah, I don't feel a lot of good things about this movie. The wery few things I enjoyed from the movie (again, I'm talking about the first time I watched, we'll see if it changes) are:

The animation.

The only thing I can't argue with is that the animation is fucking amazing. The backgrounds, the fights, the magic. It looks fucking great.

Ignoring everything that comes with it (the reunion with Steve, the stupid pregnancy thing) I'm a simp for them, they can step on me whenever they want. My feelings towards Aja may or may not change today though lol

Not much to say here, I cried with everyone one of them and I love their relationship so much.

And yes, I knew most of the cast that we all fell in love with from the game! Of course, I knew my parents, Asgore and Toriel. After the last Reset, I lived with Mom and Frisk and visited Dad as much as possible.

As for the others, I was friends with Mettaton and Blooky (I usually chilled with Blook when he was mixing music or just chilling on the floor - he's super relaxing to hang out with - and Mettaton was an awful gossip, the few times he was actually in town), though I'll admit, I was way closer with Blooky than I was with Mettaton. Then there was Sans (I know, shocker right? I'm actually surprised that so many people think Sans and I would be mortal enemies or rivals - trust me, we both have common enemy to hate. Leads to a lot of bonding) and Papyrus, of course. How could anyone NOT like Papyrus? He's the softest lil puffball we got. I would commit another genocide if anyone made him cry, I swear.

Oh, and of course I knew Alphys and Undyne. Undyne and I did some sparring (I needed an outlet for my more. . . Violent tendencies) and me and Alphys got to know each other pretty well, since she was the one who ultimately revived me and gave me a chance at life again (Sans may be one hell of a quantum physicist and engineer, but I would swear on my life that nobody knows biology better than Alphys). We mainly just watched and talked about anime, or my own health. Strangest GP relationship I've ever had. I actually got to be at their wedding, you know? It was a lovely service, small but beautiful all the same. They went for vanilla ice cream cake, and it was so fucking good. I still dream about that cake sometimes.

As for ships. . . Ok, I can already hear the questions and all your hopes and dreams, so I'll just say it: Yes, Frisk and I were together. Settle down, Charisk shippers, settle down,I know you're all excited. We were together about a year before my fictive memories end and my current life actually began, so we uhm. . . We didn't get much time together, unfortunately. It sucks, but I've learned to live with it and have moved on. Maybe sometime I'll go into more detail about it.

Summary: I absolutely love the Ace Attorney games. While I think game 1 was an overall better game, case 2-4 is in my all time favorite cases. I loved the introduction of new characters while also expanding on the development of returning characters. The game itself also improved with new music and animations. The music especially was really fun and I would just let it play, especially the circus music, Edgeworth's theme, and Engarde's themes. I wasn't the biggest fan of 2-3 but 2-2 and 2-4 were stellar. I think if this game also had an added 5th case ti would be just as good as the first game. But I still absolutely love this game, definitely a favorite of mine. The humor is unmatched. I had to pause and laugh out loud so many times. The writers and animators are real comedic geniuses. I love the trust and bond Phoenix and Edgeworth form, they are such interesting characters. I also love the addition of Pearl and Franziska, we love weird girls!!! Definitely a game I'll recommend to others! Truly a great experience!

I'm actually on my second watch since we found out our water heater is leaking so that was a whole thing so not quite first impressions but that's literally me screencapping every scene and screaming so probably better this way

Okay important things about me to consider for my lens as I go through this

I think Isami is so so so cute. I'll probably make a cute Isami screencaps post as a separate thing. His gap moe is so cute. I love his stern face. I think Smith is great too but I love the focus reshifting to Isami. Anyway. He's so cute

In terms of Smith as Bravern I guess I view it as the reverse too? I don't really know how to explain it but I guess in Japanese there's tags for Smith + Isami (Sumiisa) and Bravern + Isami (Braisa?) and in my head it's all Sumiisa. Like he may look like a giant robot but he's still Smith, if that makes sense.

Second watch bonuses: realizing why she reacts this way at his mention ;-;

Right away, I guess I got my beach episode! I love that Isami and Lulu have Bravern brand summer clothes. I hope they come out as merch. It comes up rarely eg. the boxing shoes from ep 5 have the (Burn?) Bravern specific emblem on them and I just think it's so cute. Like yeah Bravern probably printed them just for these instances and I wish we got enough show to see it in action.

I actually got so emotional at the end of episode 9 when the OP starts playing without the lyrics and this showing up with the ED music is phenomenal. Extra delicious that it starts with part of the full version of the ED that's not in the normal ending.

I also love this because the other two emotional moments where it's like, starting something but not completing it are the after boxing scene and when Isami is crying into Lewis' shirt (okay this can easily be assumed to fill out as "I wanted the two of us to save the world together" but what else did you want to do with hiiiiim). The shipper mind wants to fill it in with some love confession and then!!!

After the like, back and forth name stuff (which parallels the Lulu + Superbia fusion) I was like, pre-emptively bracing for some kind of goofy baiting/played for laughs thing but no he goes for it!!

I actually have a collection of any instance of Isami with any amount of coloring on his cheeks and I've been lamenting that the only full blush moments are when he gets the asian flush drinking but aaaaah so cute. Also he looks so young here! He's 24 he should be falling in love!

Also I'm like, actually really impressed about this scene technically because It's just a really good looking turnaround animation. With Bravern he's 3D so whatever but isami looks good from every angle!

The artist who adds the extra effects like bloom and color tweaks on scenes occasionally tweets out their before and afters and I really hope we get this scene where they point out they added plush, kissable lips onto Bravern.

I reblogged a post about it but I do really love that Isami isn't like, disgusted or pushing him away or anything. Not even grateful Lulu interrupted it. Maybe he's actually disappointed she interrupted.

I know it sets ups the symbolic washing away of it but in case there was any ambiguity to the nature of this love:

There's some discussion across japanese twitter about how you're not supposed to do some line in the middle but based on some cursory stuff I'm not sure how common that thought process is. Also Bravern isn't that much of a pro in Japanese culture (even a lot of JP twitter was confused at his proud "This is OMIAI!").

If you aren't involved in Twitter, a comment people like to point out is that they specifically hired a Food Coordinator for this episode lol. I took a bunch of caps of it but between this and Isami's "we need to eat to be strong enough to save everyone" talk I need to do my Dunmeshi + Bravern food as strength and love post.

Anyway I'm obsessed with the fact that Bravern doesn't need to eat but actually has a mouth which reminds me of this tweet my sister brought to me

Okay honestly the food bit is so weird I was kind of worried the entire first half of the episode turns out to be a dream sequence.

I need to set this as my desktop background or something. I think it's really cute that they added/implied that Isami and Bravern are now a cutesy couple rather than Isami being all weird about the love confession.

Lulu + Superbia symbol! It's cute and has a really nice mix of being similar but opposite in it's own way.

I am obsessed with Segnitas being too lazy to fight and honestly I think he's so cute. The interrupting the fusion is kinda expected for a a show with every bit being in universe but it's still a good gag. I'm glad he is around to make commentary until his true death.

I kind of expected the Bravern + Superbia fight to be an episode 2 thing but I guess we won't have the time for that given the end of this episode. Triple shoutout to my Wednesday post by having the "You can get fulfillment from living!", seeing a callback to Lulu's kick and basically having an awesome fight.

Okay ending time. I have a lot of thoughts but one of the ones as I was watching was just.. He can't eat but he can bleed (and cry)? Actually considering that he explodes it's probably oil or something. Like obvs he isn't going to explode into purple triangles like everyone else but oofda. I am all sorts of sad about this but one thing that gets me is that Bravern doesn't even die fighting! It was a stealth attack!

There's some theories that Isami has a change of heart too fast and this might be another time loop, which I think would be on brand but man his reaction to Bravern dying is too much there's at least no way it's because of a Bravern dying bad end. Actually, I wonder if the damage to Bravern's core is worse than we can tell? Lulu bad end looks way worse though. Or maybe hypothetical Isami time travel route is -> they don't fight Superbia -> defeat one more death drive -> Superbia realizes he doesn't get his warrior death -> he takes on the last Deathdrive 1v1, dies -> remaining DD dies somehow but Superbia is still gone -> Isami goes back to save him for Lulu (they can't risk double time looping her?) -> doesn't ever experience Bravern dying so this is new and terrible.

In this case, Ira is acting unpredictably specifically because they do the no-kill route with Superbia. He's evidently super disgusted and I wonder if it's because its the peaceful resolution between the two? Otherwise I'm curious why else. Actually in general I'm curious why everyone is so personal with Bravern but I think we've all been asking that.

I think some people mentioned it on Twitter but Lulu very casually mentions her time travel lived experiences so it would be weird if they didn't know Bravern himself enabled it. Like I mentioned in my other post. He literally can't take on two giant mechs without Bravern and he knows for sure Superbia can't take on someone.

It's interesting that Bravern has different final words in this timeline than Lulu bad end but he also probably never had that stargazing scene in that route. Actually, you know what, I think Lulu bad end he does know it's Lulu because I don't think Isami was there for the specific curry scene we saw. He's still crying, naked in Bravern during that. Unless he just talks about Japanese curry all the time where we don't see.

Smith's last words are specifically "Brave Bang" (yuuki bakuhatsu) vs Bravern's "Brave Burn" and I'm basically Pepe Silvia-ing it up trying to figure out what it means. It's not really a direct confession about being Smith (because he's still a coward in that regard) but maybe it's a secret move/activation considering the moves are in English?

I think any kind of extra finale speculation requires its own post but that's my thoughts!

Aww the births of The Pastel Siblings! Though Leelathae's thought during each of the births...it breaks my heart :( it seems that she view the births of The Pastel Siblings as a way to apologize for her "mistake" (in which she didn't make any mistake at all), even though it shouldn't be like that at all...

I'm surprised no animals appear at Maria's birth lol. I was really expecting for a deer or birds to suddenly appear haha.

This IS making me a bit worried though. I don't know much about child births and stuff but while it is normal to still feel pain after giving birth, is it possible that there were some complications leading to Leelathae's dead 3 years after giving birth to Gwen and Jamie? I'll let someone more knowledgeable to figure out what is happening with Leelathae since I have no idea at all.

Anyway! Finally, a close up on Pastel Siblings as babies!! I know we've seen them before in the portraits beside Jack's bed, but it's nice to see them clearer.

Initially, I was worried how Leelathae would react to Gwen, but nevermind that

I'm so happy about this scene :') Leelathae realizing how beautiful Gwen is, even calling her the most beautiful in all the land. Also her saying as long as Gwen thinks she's beautiful, then what other people think doesn't matter makes me sob. Mother love is always something so touching.

On the other hand though, it made me a little confused now on why she asked Jack to lock up the children and never let them out. Looking at one of the fast pass episode's thumbnail, maybe it's because of the witch? We're nearing the end and there are still so many questions.

But now that Gwen is finally awake...Well, let's just wish her, Frederick, Aurelia, and Celso good luck at dealing with the officially confirmed big bad wolf/serpent, Leland.

We kinda should thank Leland a bit, though. If he wasn't there ripping off all of the thorny veins, Gwen would get pretty hurt if she still wakes up while sitting up

I'm still new and haven't seen so much! Here is what I'll do, I'll give you a list of what I've seen and what I thought about it though!! It'll go like this:

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (anime): SO GOOD. It was the second anime I watched ever and it's what really got me hooked. Lol it's just pure good solid story telling and is just truly amazing in every way. I love it so much

Ouran High School Host Club (anime): it was fine. Lol good moments, funny moments, cute moments. Lots of weird ass tropes that I didn't love lol. Good palate cleanser but not my favorite and not one I continued to really spend time thinking about after

Demon Slayer (anime & manga): a new obsession after I watched it. I had to then go read it because I was obsessed with the story and couldn't wait. The most beautiful animation too. Tragic and hopeful and amazing. Made me cry a few times and does flashback so well lol

Yuri on Ice (anime): so good. So cute. So gay. I have posts on this anime on here from when I was watching it. Lmao I'll just link that here. I'm still obsessed.

Spy x Family (anime & manga): I actually read the manga first and then found the anime and it's just so wholesomely wonderful in every aspect. I love the story so much. I love the romance. The slowburn is so slow is painfully good. I ship it SO HARD. The domestic family life of a Spy, assassin and telepath is everything I didn't know I needed

Buddy Daddys (anime): 2 dude (they make a good ship too honestly lol) assassins accidental baby acquisition. It's as funny as it sounds with some surprisingly dark and sad and emotional backstories and moments. Just a really great time. Short and quick watch too. Link to my rec post too

The Yakuzas Guide to Babysitting (anime): it was okay. Lol cute and fun but nothing that stuck with me. Found this one off my Spy Family and Buddy Daddy's high while looking for something similar lol

The Ice Guy and his Cool Female Colleague (anime): cute and fun but man some of the episodes dragged and were a little slow. The romance was just okay too but had some really adorable moments

Sasaki to Miyano (anime): SO CUTE. God the whole premise is the BL romance and the slow burn is soooo slow but istg. The tropes are so good too. The importance to consent is beautiful. Literal BL tropes all over the place as the MCs is a BL fan and introduced his LI to BL lol my rec post here. And my post over a clip of the new movie too.

A Silent Voice (anime movie): excellent movie. Sad as fuck. I cried so much. Lol all the trigger warnings though. Please read the trigger warnings

Your Name (anime movie): excellent movie. I still think about it all the time. I just read a book that pulled inspo from this movie. I had tears STREAMING DOWN MY FACE at the end.

Sk8 the Infinity (anime): so good. So wholesome. So gay (it's canon gay, fight with the wall, I don't care lol) just a little show about skateboarding. Who knew it would be SO GOOD. My rec post. My matchablossom brain rot post

Naurto, Naruto Shippuden (anime): OBSESSED. I watched this show with my partner as part of his "I'm introducing you to anime" series he has for me. Lol and clearly he was going to introduce me to the classics. Yes One Piece and Bleach are on his lists for us to watch together too.

Haikyuu!! (anime & manga): Look, with this being the 3rd sports anime I watched, I'm convinced all sports animes create so many ships low-key on purpose. Lmfao in all honesty though, it's so good. Never in my life would I have imagined getting so invested into volleyball. But here I am.

Jujutsu Kaisen (anime and I'm starting the manga now too): IM SO OBSESSED ITS NO LONGER FUNNY AND THIS SHOW IS SO MEAN LATELY. I had to go buy the manga because I CANNOT HANDLE WAITING FOR NEW EPISODES OH MY GOD. WISH ME LUCK READING I GUESS My post

Bungo Stray Dogs (anime): I started this show for Dazai. Found him on TikTok. Stayed for the weird ass powers and the absolute utter nonsense that is this whole world. Nothing makes sense and we are all just here for the vibes. Yes I fucking love it, thanks lmfao My post

Link Click (donghua): started this on a whim because I got a random rec video on my algorithm and found it on Crunchyroll and I was told it was gay. There is so little gayness in the grand scheme of this show I felt so unprepared for what it was. Lmao I have never in my life had a show hit me so hard in my emotions off the bat EVERY SINGLE TIME. BUT ITS SO GOOD?? I told my husband I start each episode going "so how are you making me cry this time link clink??" The twists twist so hard it hurts, but in a way I love. I need the next season like now. my God.

Blue Eye Samurai (anime sort of): my NEWEST obsession. I NEED SEASON 2 PLEASE. I said sort of about anime because it is animated and it's set in Japan, but it's not from Japan so it's not really an anime.... Lol but it's on Netflix. It's not for children. And it's so good. Go watch it. Only 8 episodes. The story is immaculate. My post

Inuyasha (manga): read the manga and thoroughly enjoyed myself as a super fast and fun read!! Really just there a good time lmao

Yona of the Dawn (manga): SO CUTE and yet intense too. My sister put me on this one as one of the first manga series I started reading and I just ate it all up. If we ignore some of the weirder tropes it throws at you in the beginning, it's just fabulous lol I love it

Mo Dao Zu Shi (donghua): read the books, watched the donghua, watched the live action too lol. The brain rot is SO REAL. Like these characters live rent free forever. Thanks.
