Hi dolly!:) silly idea, have you ever tried writing for the hybrid cod guys? Ie: dragon hybrid price or werewolf hybrid soap, not a Request, I just think their neat. Also, probably good for Halloween as it's nearly October!

Ah of course, writing for hybrid cod is tradition at this point

Romantic bits aside. I like to think that each of them are annoying in their own special way. Intentional or not.

For starters, DragonHybrid! Price just reeks off burning wood. No matter how many times he's taken a shower, –no matter how long too!– he always ends up smelling the same. Like a fuckin' pizza oven.

Must be because he's half dragon– you'd think, so you can't really hold it against him. But out comes the second problem, which what seems to be his unhealthy relationship with cigars. What good does he have for temporary, man-made, chemical smoke, when he can produce his own. More natural, more efficient, and quicker too. But alas. It's just one of those cases where you try one thing once, then you find yourself doing it all the time, over and over.

You love the guy, really, you do. But getting any closer than 5 feet would set fire to your lungs, a guaranteed visit to the nurse's office. Doesn't help that kissing him feels like swallowing a dozen lit matches.

While Price's stench is still somewhat tolerable. WerewolfHybrid! Soap's constant howling at the moon might just make you consider transferring to another task force. Unfortunately for you, you also love his stupid face too much to do that. Sigh, the things you do for love. He just can't seem to get enough of that stupid fucking rock floating in the ink of night. Like he was some desperate firefly, who can't reach the light of a bulb. Well, at least he'd be a very handsome firefly.

But oh he cries for it, howls for it, and makes everyone suffer because of it. Heartless monter. A part of you thinks that he's just feeding into the cliché –that his kind is unable to resist that shiny ball of white floating about the dark sky– and the other wonders if he just Palov'ed himself into doing that by accident, and now can't quit.

Next up is your dear HarpyHybrid! Gaz, darling boy he is. He's not much of a nuisance save for the occasional stray feathers you'd find scattered all over the damned base. He has no control over it.

Besides, it's not too much of a problem on most days, but if you're unlucky enough to catch him on a bad mood you'll be left with more feathers than the ones you ordered to clean. And if you happen to hit a very specific nerve he might just ask a favor from his bird friends to shit on your car. Or your head. Whatever quells his thirst chaos at the moment. Is that a new suit? Well it's definitely not gonna smell like one anymore, baby!!

Very petty, and pretty would be the top description for your love.

Lastly we have WraithHybrid! Ghost. Who definitely lives up to his call sign. Never brings shame to it. He haunts the halls like he gets paid to do it, said he'd love for that to be the case. But no. The prick just can't be bothered to alert anyone of his presence.

You'd feel him before you see him. Unexpected taps to the shoulder has you jumping out of skin, and bumping to an invisible body never fails to bring a chill up your spine.

But when you do see him? On the dead of night? Out to get a snack? Ohh, lucky you, if you're a horror fanatic because the worn out material of his mask. That soulless skull. It's enough to give the boogeyman nightmares. Scare the monsters out from under your bed. You'd be glad that it was just skeletons in your closet, and not his dark, grim, saturnine, figure.

The last thing you needed from that was the introduction of the bane of your very tired existence, or as others would call it, "the swear jar". Price was just looking to take advantage of your very consistent "Oh fuck!'s towards Ghost.

#SEE THE THING IS SOMETIMES THE SWORD LOOKS BETTER ON THE OTHER SIDE COMPOSITIONALLY AND YOU JUST FORGET THAT THATS NOT HOW IT WORKS #and. and then sometimes. you are 100% convinced that what youve drawn is a sword in the left hand. but you are wrong #sigh. i need to stop writing about characters with swords. i cant keep doing this #theres an added layer of hilarity with vulpis (foxboy) in that i originally wanted him to be right handed and then immediately forgot that #after the first panel and started drawing him left handed. so now he's left handed bc he uses his left hand in all but the very first panel #it's way easier for me to keep it consistent with my mc (cottontail) because since the fight scenes are kinda from her pov her back is #usually to the camera. so i can just put the sword on the side that i am actively holding my pen while drawing #and you would THINK it would be easy to just. reverse that. with vulpis. but apparently fucking not #AND FOR SOME REASON THIS ONLY APPLIES TO CERTAIN THINGS?? like cottontail has an asymmetrical character design #with a big spot over the right side of her face. and i have NEVER ONCE fucked up and drawn it on the left. the sword tho? fair game. why #WHATEVER. it's fine im fine this doesn't eat me up inside. i am fine with being perpetually unable to understand simple directions #asks

super quick musings on Fathoms. i like a lot about the pose + design, but i feel like they kinda suffer from Undel Sameface when everything about their lore is pointing towards "friendly gentle ocean giants". wanted to roughly sketch Merrigan for a side-by-side comparison, and then some rough doodles of how i might push the design in a chunkier, more cetacean-inspired direction - 3 is swapping the features but keeping the overall proportions/layout mostly the same, and 4 is pushing the proportions even further

I love the idea that, whenever a Cybertronian space-faring vessel lands or docks within a predominantly non-Cybertronian space station or port, that it's required that they either confirm or deny whether their vessel is sentient or not before being permitted to land.

1. For proper accommodation and clarification, along with the chance for communication between the vessel and crews working the station/port.

2. Because there has been... incidents... incidents that have led to the requirement of the above reasons.

#an irate dreadnought with a brain and very big feelings could wreak all sorts of havoc on an unprepared station unfortunately #also. itd be a bit shocking to be just some guy working the fuel station. idly complimenting a shiny cruiser only for it to say 'thanks <3'#transformers #maccadam #tf idw #tf worldbuilding #???#i mean. yeah. its technically world building. we dont see much of that kinda stuff #but im sure as hell thinking about it rn #i love wacky sci fi worldbuilding. theres not enough of it on a broader galactic scale in tf sometimes #like. they mention other aliens and hubs in a few continuities i think. but then they only do so much with it #outside of crossovers ig #idk. i just like thinking of how beings other than humans perceive cybertronians and the colonists #like. they're new to humans. usually. but theyve had other alien neighbors for millions of years #transformers surely are quite talked about on a broader galactic scale. and obv taken into consideration either for good or bad #they're nigh immortal. they're constantly fighting each other and dying. they're peacekeepers. they're warlords. they're big. they're small #they're fucking weird. and somehow end up all over the place #they hate your kind. they love your kind. they think you're disgusting. they're offering to be your car #how many citizens of their galaxy nervously attempt to politely ask a vehicle if its alive or not on a daily bases in popular hubs/stations #its so funny to me #also. thinking about fic stuff relating to idw1. and like. all the background aliens and their factions fascinate me a bit. its fun inspo #mtmte #lost light #nearly forgot those. since other aliens and factions are featured in them a bit #slowly getting through robots in disguise rn. and all the nail stuff got me thinking about neutrals finding homes amongst other aliens #also like. some of the darker stuff thats mentioned about cybertronians being sold or indentured. like. hows that viewed broadly?

#my art #mission to zyxx #C-53 #pleck decksetter #dar mtz #ok time for some of my appearance headcanons #i was just gonna give c little dot eyes but i was goofing around with the doodle #and i was like. oh actually little light up ocular sensors that look like 👁️👁️ are kinda funny #i'm kinda trying to hit the space where the juck bot frame could conceivably have the same inner workings as the c frame #but it's got more like. idk plating and synthetic skin and stuff #i also think that ideally this type of frame is supposed to be more fully covered? with skin. less visible joints #and is supposed to have a cooler better looking face #but they got it at a discount store that sorta refurbished it juuuuuuust well enough to sell #they also mention in the show that the eyes glow and the jaw comes off #if there were any other details i forgot about them #i like tellurians to be Pretty Much Human #but I do like the pointy ears interpretation for one main reason:#i can put perfect little pointy ones on tellurians that are the Standard for good looks (rolphus etc.)#and give pleck ones that are slightly larger and a little bent. i just think that's fun #i'm also a short pleck truther and do not believe he is skinny. that man is at least midsized. actually probably just midsized #cause if he were too big he would be too cool #ohh and first time drawing the k'hekk eye yayyyy. it should probably be nastier but i can only do so much #dar i really imagine round cause it's like the classic Big Guy shape and they have no bones in their head so it can't be that structured #bodywise my design is def inspired by tikkitronictonic and snuffysbox's designs #i was at a total loss on how to interpret the talons and chutes and flaps when I was listening and this is easy and smooth #maybe the only major difference is that i imagine dar is pretty hygienic and furry scales feel like they'd be hard to keep clean #with all the uh. goings on #so i've got those across the chest and arms and then the torso is smoother in my mind #also ik dar is supposed to be like twice pleck's size but it's hard to stand these people next to each other #my brother said they made up a thing called mass shifting in transformers g1 to excuse the scale issues. so i'll do it too. get off my case

the elden ring DLC coming out reminded me I've actually had a larger er piece sitting around uncompleted for *checks watch* 5 months so was fun to revisit that a little today hahaha

#i haven't gotten the dlc yet so i'm playing catch up OTL #i forgot how disgustingly overpowered my build was from the base game lmfao mohg's spear is Busted #wiped all the dragon bosses out in like 20 minutes and it only took that long cause i kept wandering around #just clearing shit out before i start ng+ and make a proper go of the DLC haha #i head my boy mohg gets some lore looking forward to that i love my omen bros #i can't imagine it's like Happy lore god forbid but hey i love a good tragedy #elden ring #wip #kinda funny how the ranni by itself works so nicely as like a sticker design or something asl;dkfj #i love symmetry you see #fr this old piece has Such a good comp i did totally plan to finish this ages ago before getting distracted #hopefully i can at least get the lines done before i get distracted again haha
