2024 was somehow a really productive year for art for me despite me having less time than ever for it, haha. I finished up all of the art for the Nature board game Flight module (releasing 2025, including plenty of art I haven't shared here yet), did art for work and more Lord Huron fanart for fun on my own time, and did more Waymakers birds this year than last too!

So thanks to all of you for your comments and your reblogs and your general well-wishes because it's folks like you who keep me motivated to create! Tumblr especially, honestly - we're all stuck here on this hellsite together and I love the community that it has turned into.

A bit of concepts for the rest of the cast in the Trigger AU, also trying to come up with a bit of a plot soooo:

The planet is being invaded by an alien species that im still figuring out, and Silver is currently fighting them off in his timeline alongside Blaze. However they’re way too strong and cause Silver’s cuffs to get destroyed, making his powers more difficult to control (thats a hc of mine dont mind me) Now he has to go back in time to find out why did these aliens take over the planet and find a way to stop them in the past.

OCtober Day 5: Redesigned OC

I hadn't drawn Iryna yet this month, and she's certainly been through some redesigning, so I drew her for today :)

On the left, labeled 2022, I drew Iryna's original design in my current style. On the right, for 2024, I drew her current design in the style I first drew her in !

It was so so much fun revisiting her old design, and one of my old art styles :) this felt like an art trade with my past self <3

I'll probably just let the story unfold trough the illustrations etc #cause idk if anyone's interested in the story stuff. i'm happy to answer if anyone asks stuff though #but the short version is that they grew up in the same town but didn't really get to know each other until later #Marten has a bad accident that leaves him bedridden for over a year while his father hides his condition out of shame #so Nohren takes a job as a hand at their ranch and figures out which room they're keeping Marten locked in #they become good friends and Nohren visits him in secret for almost two years while helping Marten regain some mobility #they take up the outlaw life after Nohren is seen with another man in town and decides he's better off getting out of dodge #Marten is torn about leaving the ranch behind but he comes along eventually #that's the very basic gist of it #they good kiddos #Marten #Nohren #Outlaws AU

Oblivion did such a great job with its UI, the choice of fonts was phenomenal, the constant presence of kingthings petrock as subtitles and as the player's journal evoking medieval books, the quest updates framed with floral ornaments that look right out of manuscripts, the little icons tied to specific quests and questlines and the different crests that appear in your log to signify your rank in different factions

#tes #oblivion #litchi.txt #sorry I got hit in the feels with this stuff #Im a sucker for the borders drawn in medieval manuscripts and I really love the use of those during the quests #plus the little illustrations that we get for Everything #quests factions birth sign EVERYTHING #dont get me started on the illustrations that appear Once when you are choosing your class like they didnt have to design all those #for one throwaway moment in the start #but they included it!! because its such an important moment #Im also just a sucker for anything related to fonts that look like schwabacher #I should just set my computer's default font to kingthings petrock at this point its such a nice font #i hope tes6 takes notes and brings this back I think it would look nice #the whole game has a very medieval story vibe and I know this is such a stupid thing to say #but yeah it just feels like looking thru a manuscript or at gothic church frescos #its like the manuscripts came alive #writing this also made me realise that this is something arena and daggerfall did less successfully because of the hardware limitations #and now Im emotional cause oblivion despite all the flaws and things people keep complaining about is SUCH a love letter to the franchise #I could make a whole post on that too. but oblivion is a love letter to arena and daggerfall change my mind
