in which Sila cares a hell of a lot and that makes her brave, even if she wants to regret it

 This was her problem; she cared too much. Everyone around her growing up had said it would be a problem, and she hadn’t really believed them until this moment.

 Halla was on the ground before her, splayed on her side, just out of reach of safety. Their oalla were gone, startled by the ribbon snarls that had happened upon them. Harlowe and Esrin had split away to draw attention.

 And there was a ribbon snarl baring down on them, because of course the distraction hadn’t worked. Of course it had come after her and Halla.

 She knew plenty of people – plenty of riders – who would leave Halla there, take the opportunity granted by her sacrifice, however unplanned, and flee.

 Sila just… couldn’t do that.

 She stepped out of hiding and ran towards Halla yelling at the ribbon snarl as it bore down on her.

 Halla shrieked something as she passed.

 Sila swung her glaive in front of her, charging at the ribbon snarl despite every instinct screaming at her to flee.

 The ribbon snarl crashed over itself as it stopped short. Then, when Sila didn’t, it turned and bolted.

 Sila kept her momentum going, still yelling, until it outran her and disappeared.

 Silence fell.

 Sila stood there, panting, scouring the rocky hillside for any sign of it.

 “What in the shit was that?” Halla asked.

 “I suppose it doesn’t do outright fights,” Sila replied. “They haven’t covered that yet.”

 “No, I mean – what the hell was that? Why did you do that?”

 Sila turned.

 Halla was on her feet, holding her weight mostly on one side, but she was steady. She was staring at Sila in a way that made her feel scrutinised.

 Sila shuffled, looking down rather than making eye contact. “I don’t – I couldn’t leave you.”

 “Anyone else would’ve. I would’ve.”

 Sila shrugged.

 “Guess I’m lucky you’re not me.”

 “We should find the others, they’ll be – they’ll be tired, probably.” Sila ignored Halla – or did her best to. As if she could ever fully ignore Halla, but the reminder that no one would do the same for her stung.

 “I want to tell them all about my heroic rescue.” Halla stuck her finger in her mouth and let out a piercing whistle. “Let’s set up camp here.”

 “We don’t have any of the gear, it’s all with the basts.”

 “Ah.” Halla hesitated. “Well, we can gather firewood, at least.”

 Sila nodded. “If – are you sure you’re not hurt? I can take care of the fire if you need to just sit and–”

 “Sila. Scales, come on, it didn’t even touch me.”

 “You almost died, Halla,” she snapped. “That might not have sunk in for you yet, but–” She cut herself off.

 “I… didn’t know you cared,” Halla said slowly. “Oh – no, I did, you care about everyone. I didn’t realise this would mess you up.”

 Sila was saved from answering by Aristona’s arrival; Poseidio landed and Aristonia was off her back before the dragon had fully settled.

 “What happened?” She looked around as she strode towards them. “Where are the other two, your mounts?”

 “They should just be coming,” Halla said, pivoting towards her. “We got split up.”

 “Care to tell me why?”

 “Scouting,” Halla said.

 “There was a ribbon snarl and the oalla startled,” Sila said. “Esrin and Harlowe tried to draw it off, but it came at us and we got thrown.”

 “How did you get away from it?” Aristonia looked around. Did you kill it?”

 “No. Turns out it doesn’t like being challenged,” said Halla. “Sila chased it off.”

 Aristonia’s eyebrows shot up. “Well. We’ll have to update that part of the bestiary. Ilse will be delighted.” She turned her attention to Sila. “Are you alright?”

 “I – yes, I’m – I’m not the one who–” Sila blinked several times.

 “Ok.” Aristonia stepped closer, more carefully than Sila had ever seen her. “Halla, track down the others. Poseidio can spot them from the air, just follow her.”

 The dragon launched herself back into the air.

 Halla shot a glance at Sila and then left without a word.

 “Sila?” Aristonia reached out to her but didn’t make contact. “Would you like to sit down?”

 “Um.” Sila dropped to the ground with more force than she intended.

 Aristonia followed her. “It was a brave thing you did. Now I need you to focus on your breathing. Can you do that with me?”

 Sila nodded and gulped in a breath.

 “Good. You’re doing good.”

 They sat there until Sila felt more in control. Aristonia’s hand was light on her back, measuring her breaths.

 “Alright?”

 Sila nodded.

 “That was a brave thing you did.”

 “It was foolish. What if it hadn’t worked? Then we’d both be dead.”

 “You were incredibly lucky, true. But that doesn’t stop it from also being brave.”

 Sila nodded, not really believing her.

 Aristonia let out an amused huff and sat back. “It’s alright if you don’t believe me. But Sila probably thinks you were very brave too.”

 Sila wrinkled her nose.

 “She’s bad at showing it?” Aristonia gave her a wry grin. “We all have people like that.”

 That caught Sila’s attention. “Who–”

 “Here they are! Here’s our hero!” Halla announced.

 Esrin and Harlowe were with her, leading the four oalla.

 Poseidio landed beyond them, on the slope, and settled in like she was guarding them.

 “Sila’s bleeding heart strikes again!” Esrin threw herself to the ground beside Sila. “Damn but you pulled it off.”

 Harlowe winced in sympathy. “Esrin.”

 “Such tact,” Aristonia said dryly, getting to her feet. “We’ll head back tomorrow, alright?”

 “You’re staying with us?” Harlowe asked.

 Aristonia nodded. “Apparently there are dangerous beasties we haven’t warned off hanging about.” She grinned. “Don’t worry, we’ll keep out of the way.”

 “Hey.” Halla tapped Sila’s arm. “Thanks, really.” She kept her voice low, not quite looking at Sila. “I owe you my life.”

 Sila nodded. “You’re welcome.”

 “I’ll try not to make a habit of it, you know?” Halla laughed. “Special occasions only.”

 Sila smiled faintly. “Of course.”

 Halla nodded, seemingly satisfied, and left to help Esrin unsaddle the oalla.

 Sila looked up and caught Harlowe’s eye.

 He gave her a knowing smile and tilted his head in an invitation.

 Sila stepped across to help him, losing herself in the familiar tasks.

My wishes for Season 3 of Dead End: Paranormal Park!

—This contains spoilers for both seasons. Also, please don’t spoil me with book content, I can’t read it 😭

•More Courtney lore. We still don’t know what she did to get banished, and the way she was initially dealt with, (memory loss, trapping her in the neutral plane) even for most of season 2, (kept on watch by fingers instead of being put with the other fallen, along with all the ominous “he has plans for you” that didn’t amount to shit) is very clearly shown to not be the normal procedure, and also the symmetrical broken halo….What Is Up With Them. After all the foreshadowing and hints, it’d be disappointing if they weren’t important in some way.

She’s shown to have a lot of self-loathing, especially about her internalized prejudice against her species (Plural. Bc her situation is…complicated, now 😅) . Maybe, while/since her friends won’t be around as often, she decides to investigate her past, something spurred on by talking with the other Fallen Angels and realizing how different her experience is. This could be an opportunity to explore the angels, as well.

•Please, for the love of all that is good in this world, no more time travel. At all. we as a society have moved past the need to time travel. You kind of have to refer to the past events but don’t make any character time travel anymore please 😭

•Norma being a bit of an anti-villain, at least for a while, due to the season two ending. Alongside that, I need some shenanigans of the Zagan, Norma and Temelechus possible trio because hello???? Iconic potential???? It’d also be a good opportunity to give Zagan more depth, she needs it.

•Norma’s autism gets at least name-dropped. Please… for me 🥺🥺🥺? Especially if she has a tiny plot where her feeling like her mom treats her like a little kid is actually addressed because, oof. It’s relatable to a lot of us!

•Aro Badyah!!! Based on this clip. There aren’t many aro characters, especially ones who have it dealt with in the actual show, it’d be so important to me. Especially because Badyah thinking she has to be straight because so much of our world revolves around romance that you can’t escape it, it’s everywhere. I headcannon she can find people attractive and mistakes that for romantic feelings.

•So far, Barney seems like the kind of character who had all their development/arc in season one, so he’s stuck as static for the rest of the show. However! The show can save this!!! His relation to Pugsley is something that will spark a change in his behavior. His feelings of grief and (implied) survivor’s guilt gotta have some focus, even if the show keeps a lighthearted tone. However, while he shouldn’t find out in the first episodes, Barney definitely needs to be majorly involved in Pugsley’s thing. Which, speaking of….

•Whatever tf Pugsley’s got going on….not gonna lie, I have no idea for what and how it’ll happen, except that I hope it’s creepy and that it brings him back. Also, as mentioned before, Barney has to be majorly involved in it.

•The main gang feels a bit separated (Norma’s revenge alliance with the demons, Barney and Logs traveling, Pusgley’s wtf credits, my Courtney suggestion) in the ending, lean into that. Of course, they still hang out, but it’d showcase the big negative impacts the finale had on the cast, while exploring the quadruple’s writing on their own more. Near the climax, all their storylines would combine, and that could be sooo cool!!!

•Clone Courtney was, from what I remember, missing from the prison break out. Not even a single backround shot, when we gave the other two clones some time to shine! Plus, didn’t you find it off that they just put Courtney in the F.A.P after all the ominous “He has plans for you” talk? Well. I need me some stuff about that.

Sorry for rambling, haha! Thinking of the great potential of season three keeps me from disliking the ending, lmao.

Immediately remembers that you went to soothe your crying baby and heads to the nursery

finds you kneeling on the ground next to the crib

you’d slid the one side of the crib down, and had your arms curled around your baby

your heads were touching just slightly

but he’s also so torn

like he’s got 3 things he wants to do

#1 being that he wants to get the camera to keep this moment forever

#2 he wants total you back to bed because you’ll definitely wake up stiff if you stay there all night

#3 he wants to sit right down next to you and join the family sleepover

so he takes care of the first option, snapping about a thousand pictures from several different angles

and then he resolves to sit with you for a while to enjoy the peace and intimacy of the moment before waking you up so you could head back to bed

Seonghwa:

Ateez as moms edition

every time you offer to be the one to go check on your baby in the middle of the night he feels so bad

like you’re home all the time and must be so exhausted from all the work that newborns take

but you know he’s exhausted from his own work and

to be honest, even if it is tiring, being with your baby is your favorite thing in the whole world (even in the not so fun moments)

But anyway, this time Seonghwa decided that he was going to go with you to the nursery

after a little snack and some soft cooing, the babies were out like a light

Babies? Plural? you may ask... yeah Seonghwa totally fell asleep too

and after a while you’d fall asleep too, leaning comfortably against the side of the crib, your pointer finger being squeezed tightly by your infant

after a while, Seonghwa will wake up just because being on the floor is uncomfortable

but he’ll see you and your baby sleeping so peacefully and he gets a little teary bc he feels like he’s witnessing the most beautiful thing in the world

overly at peace, and when he makes the decision that it’s time to carry you back to bed

he’s so reluctant because he could have honestly stayed there forever 

Yunho:

okay Yunho is such father material like they all are but I just get such “he’s gonna be a great dad” vibes from him

BUT ANYWAY

anytime your baby cries at night; it’s like the bat signal for him okay

like Superdad to the rescue!!!

but you always end up needing to go with him bc... I’ll just say your kid can EAT alright

like no matter the gender, they’re gonna be big like their dad okay

usually he leaves you two alone when you’re doing your thing because he gets too soft and he wants to cuddle you guys while your feeding your baby

but your kid’s also definitely got a favorite parent... spoiler alert: it’s Yunho

so he is no longer allowed in the room for feeding time bc the baby won't even pay attention if they see daddy awww

after a little while he comes back in to check on you

could actually explode when he sees you, sitting on the edge of the crib with your head tilted downwards cradling your baby in your arms

and Yunho’s the type to decide he’s bringing you both back to bed with him

and that’s exactly what he’ll do

and he stays up the whole night watching you because he’s too full of love and he can't sleep because of it

so he knows how hard it is for you to parent while he’s at work right?

that means he’s always gonna volunteer to be the one to do certain things when he is home

like even the super unpleasant stuff like diaper changes or if the baby burps up; he’s like I GOT THIS

he tries really hard to be a good father and a good husband at the same time

but sometimes, you tell him it’s okay to let you take care of the unpleasant stuff

so you decided it would be your turn to go check on the baby this time during the regularly scheduled 3am waterworks

but after 3 minutes, Yeosang’s like I GOTTA GO HELP

even if it’s a one person job, he’ll find a way

he’ll walk into the nursery just as you’ve finished swaddling your baby after a diaper change

you’re smiling softly and letting your infant play with your fingers, laughing sweetly every time your baby gurgles with joy

Not wanting to disturb you, but also having an intense need to be a part of the action, he heads towards you

wraps his arms around you from behind and sways you slowly from side to side until you both decide your baby is fast enough asleep that you can retreat back to your own room

I think San is probably the most excited of all of them to be a parent; and again I’m sure all of them would be happy I just get a stronger vibe mkay

so with him, he’s never gonna not get up and check on the baby when they cry

if you hear any noise at all over the baby monitor and start to get up, he’s already running down the hall

like we’ve all seen that he hates waking up but he’d sacrifice his sleep for his kid any day

on the rare occasion that you do beat him to the nursery though, he’d literally be smiling as soon as he saw you

always asks, “How are we?” because he loves to emphasize that you’re a complete family now uwu

“We’re all good, Sannie” is his literal favorite thing to hear

especially if he’s had a bad day, hearing that is really his light at the end of the tunnel 

and that combined with the sight of the two loves of his life? 

his idea of perfection come to life

constantly tells you how grateful he is to have you

I also feel like San is the kind of man to thank you for agreeing to accept a baby into your lives

but anyway, he tries to be casual about his staring

it doesn't work though and you catch him just totally lost in his head looking at you and your baby

if you have your baby cuddled to your chest, he’s gonna put his head there too

but it’s so cute because you get to hold both of them and he gets to kiss your baby which is his favorite thing to do

Levi and Zeke had more than a few moments in this episode, so we asked you which one of those was your favorite. The definitive majority (60.6%) stated that they clearly preferred the scene of Levi lamenting the deaths of his comparades in pursuit of saving Eren over the years. A noted minority (21.9%) also seemed to enjoy the scene of Zeke telling Levi that he must not be popular or the scene wherein the truth about Ragako is revealed (8.4%). Levi accusing Zeke of being guiltless or learning about Eren’s escape from prison garnered less praise.

That being said (previous question), the majority (plurality?) of the episode was taken up by the second part of Gabi’s Bizarre Adventure. As such, we also decided to ask you which of those moments was your favorite. The plurality (44.5%) gave their preference to seeing Mr. Blouse deescalate the situation. In second place (16.8%) we had Nicolo revealing the truth about the wine. Closely behind, 16.1% stated that they most appreciated seeing Gabi and Falco find Nicolo in the restaurant cellar. Finally, 12.9% enjoyed seeing Nicolo and Gabi argue. The rest of the options (Kaya suspecting a romantic relationship, the Blouse Family enjoying Nicolo’s food and the Blouse kids calling Gabi a bumpkin) didn’t garner as much fanfare. 

Mr. Blouse's line about the children in the forest is one my favorite lines in the whole story, and this is such a major turning point for Gabi—I'd been looking forward to this episode, and it did not disappoint!

A fair bit of the episode was also taken up by the Survey Corps doing their own investigating. We also asked what your favorite moment from those segments was your favorite. 45.5%, a plurality, stated that it was Eren showing up and telling AM that he wanted to talk. Another relatively popular option with almost 17% was Hange & Co. learning about Floch’s involvement with the wine. Almost 15% chose the scene with Mikasa saving Gabi from Kaya’s attack as the one they preferred the most and 11% said that the scene with Nicolo saving Jean and Connie from drinking the tainted wine was their favorite. Other scenes, like Armin and Mikasa talking with Gabi and the rest of the major SC members learning about the wine were less popular.

Zeke’s accusation is one of the funnier interactions he has with Levi (in the opinion of the person writing these small paragraphs), so it’s no surprise that 40.6% thought that it was rather funny how defensive Levi got over it, even if they weren’t sure how popular the man himself was. 32.9% seemed to believe that Levi was actually rather popular, owing to his title of “Humanity’s Strongest”. 12.3% thought that although his image might be popular, but that it was most likely restricted among members of the Survey Corps. Finally, a minority was, in fact, convinced that Levi wasn’t popular at all, really.

The restaurant scene was rather dramatic, all things considering, so it was no wonder that getting its atmosphere through was of key importance. The overwhelming majority was very happy with what was shown on screen, with 67.1% thinking MAPPA went above and beyond and 27% simply thanking the animation studio for the accurate adaptation. A few people, in contrast, thought that the manga conveyed the tone more effectively than the anime did.

The flashbacks with Sasha eating pizza were cherished by a small part of the fandom, so it is no surprise that at least a certain part of the fandom was disappointed in not seeing these panels animated. That segment, as mentioned, was rather small, as only 10.4% stated that it was a near deal breaker for them. In contrast, 58.4% were willing to accept the cut, even if there was a small part of them that wished that it was animated. Some stated that they never cared about those panels at all and 22.7% simply never noticed the cut.

Many have argued that Eren was pretty reckless with allowing the wine plot to happen. Though 40.5% are certain that the plan truly was only to have higher ups drink the wine (and perhaps Eren assumed there would be no risk to his friends). 18.9% believe that neither Yelena nor Zeke cared about who would drink the wine, but that Eren negotiated terms with them. 18.2% on the other hand believe that Yelena/Zeke actively avoided getting his friends involved, knowing that he wouldn’t approve of it. 9.5% can’t say for certain, and only 8.1% believe that Eren didn’t care if his friends drank the wine at all, and that Nicolo is the one who actively spared them.

I think Eren maybe saw enough about what was gonna happen that he didn't have to vocalize or care too much about who drank the wine. Although, poor Pyxis and the rest. Eren has had contempt for "lazy" military higher ups before, but he also saw people like Hannes change. Idk, maybe he felt their lives were worth sacrificing.

I think eren had something to do with the wine not being distributed to the survey corps, whether it was him directly or if it was zeke and yelena knowing that it would've pissed eren off, but obviously eren didn't do anything to specifically prevent it because if niccolo hadn't stopped them, main cast would've drank it 

I think it didn't matter if only the higher-ups got to drink the wine, but since Niccolo had kind-of relations to Jean and co., he didn't want them to drink it.

DO YOU THINK MAPPA EFFECTIVELY FORESHADOWED AND BUILT UP THE WINE PLOT? 148 responses

The wine plot was built up meticulously over the course of months in the manga, which allowed for a whole bunch of theories to prop up. The anime goes by quicker, naturally. So we asked if you felt that the build up for said plot was done well in the adaption. The overwhelming majority thought so, with 48% stating that they felt MAPPA did an even better job than the source, in contrast to the 35.8% who stated their belief in Isayama’s superiority. On the other hand, a fair few also stated that they didn’t enjoy MAPPA’s portrayal of this subplot and preferred the original. We’ve also gotten a fair few write-ins, mostly stating that it’s hard to compare the two. 

I think it's hard to compare because in the manga we had months in between the first foreshadowing and the reveal that there was something up with the wine. We had time to simmer and theorize, the anime didn't have much time to delve deeper into that particular moment especially with everything else going on in the series at the same time. They did a good job!

THE SCENE WHERE LEVI FINDS OUT THE MILITARY PLANS TO HAVE SOMEONE EAT EREN IS IN BETWEEN THE RESTAURANT SCENES. DO YOU THINK THIS WAS A GOOD REARRANGEMENT? 150 responses

As seen in the season prior, MAPPA has rearranged certain scenes with the narrative. This time it’s the Levi/Zeke forest scene, juxtaposed with the restaurant scenes. A plurality (42.7%) thought the change worked in its favour. 18.7% didn’t mind it too much, but did prefer Isayama’s version of events and a few thought the change was simply bad outright. 33.3% thought the change didn’t really make a difference one way or the other. There was also a write-in. 

The complaint O have its that these scene occurs at night and the restaurant one was in briad daylight, so it felt odd because Im assuming its the same say.

THE VISUALS OF LEVI REMEMBERING THE DEATHS OF HIS COMRADES WHEN RESCUING EREN ARE DIFFERENT IN THE ANIME THAN THE MANGA. WHO DID IT BETTER? 154 responses

There was somewhat of a contrast between the flashbacks experienced by Levi in the manga and anime. We asked which version you preferred. Though most (57.8%) noted that both versions were nice, 31.8% said that they preferred the animated version, in contrast to the 10.4% who liked Isayama’s art better.

We’ve also gotten a very passionate write-in for this one. 

I'M SO UPSET THEY DIDN'T ANIMATE THE PANEL OF EREN'S FACE NEXT TO LEVI'S FROM WHEN HE SAVED HIM THE FIRST TIME IN TROST. Like I get it that they wanted to focus on all of the people Levi has lost, but in comparison with the manga it makes it seem like Levi doesn't even care about Eren anymore. If they had a shot where Levi is thinking about Eren specifically before focusing on his comrades, then it would've made more sense why he basically rejected the plan to have Eren be eaten. It would've shown that Levi still cares about Eren and doesn't want him to be killed unless there's nothing else they can do. It just feels like the anime (both WIT and Mappa) is constantly undermining Eren and Levi's relationship (and don't even get me started on how much worse it is in the dubbed version). Although, to be fair, the anime seems to do that to all of Eren's relationships that aren't with Mikasa. Like not even from a shipping perspective; even his relationship with Armin got parts ignored in favor of replacing them with moments with Mikasa. But whatever. Levi still cares about Eren, and I just wish the anime did a better job at showing that.

LEVI IS CUT OFF BEFORE HE GETS A CHANCE TO TELL THE SOLDIERS THEY SHOULD HAVE ZEKE EATEN INSTEAD, AND THAT THEY CAN ATTACK MARLEY AGAIN IF NEED BE. DO YOU THINK WE WILL GET THIS PART OF THE CONVERSATION NEXT EPISODE BEFORE HE TRIES TO MAKE A MOVE ON DEBILITATING ZEKE? 148 responses

Levi’s lines focused on explaining himself were cut a bit short in this episode, so we were wondering if we were going to hear them next episode. As it turns out, 49.3% believe so, stating that they’re important for the story and its context. In contrast, 20.9% believed that these lines were not actually necessary and weren’t going to be shown. 29% can’t say for sure, one way or another. 

Maybe it will be shown next chapter? MAPPA does that often.

IN THE FINAL SCENE, DO YOU THINK EREN APPEARS MORE SOMBER THAN MENACING IN COMPARISON TO THE MANGA? 151 responses

The vast majority of the fandom feels that MAPPA really brought out the somber expression Eren wore as he prepares to break the hearts of his friends, feeling that it signifies how regretful Eren is of what he’s about to say. 11.9% felt it was hard to read his expression properly due to the scene being cut off. 7.9% feel the opposite of the majority. While they agree he appears more somber, they aren’t buying it as genuine for a minute. Only a small handful felt that he still looked as menacing as in the manga.

it’s a real 3 ring shitshow- survey corps made into clowns, children screaming, monkey business, unamused adults, and the ringmaster just waltzed on into the middle of it.

I was disappointed at first when I saw the screenshots and spoilers, but man, when I watched the entirety, that was some great acting and pacing. Way better than the previous 2 episodes. Thank you MAPPA! Really hoping they do well again next episode. Could be the as great episode 6/7! And thank you as always, SNK poll team!

Thankfully this first part is almost over. The manga is legendary and that season is barely good. I'm so disappointed. And I really liked Eren's expression better in the manga. I don't understand why they changed it.

I miss the rotoscoping from the first Mappa episodes. Everything looks a bit stiff.

I cried more in this episode than I have at any other this season so far smh. 

When Mikasa stops Kaya from stabbing Gabi. In the manga it seems that Mikasa was protecting Gabi and bringing her head close to her chest, but in the manga she looked somewhat uncomfortable. And it wasn't appreciated enough. I also did not like that they excluded Hange moments because it helped the way of seeing her as a leader and the scene of Levi thinking about his dead comrades looked very simple to me. I prefer manga. but the voice actors were amazing! I liked the episode but it is not one of my favorites.

As a Gabi hater, this is where fandom hypocrisy gets me in regards to Mr. Braus and Mikasa sparing Gabi. Mr. Braus becomes widely regarded as some virtuous and compassionate saint while Mikasa is bad for stopping Kaya. They BOTH suck for betraying Sasha's memory. Poor Sasha deserved so much better.

The shading and animation in the forest look awesome which could really make the Levi vs. Zeke fight outshine the Manga.

Mr. Braid's speech was just as cringe in the anime as it was in the manga. Shame on him for not avenging his daughter.

I think the manga did better in the scene where Kaya was about to kill Gabi in how sudden it was. In the anime, we got to follow Kaya's whole trajectory up until she was stopped by Mikasa, so Mikasa saving Gabi didn't feel as monumental. They did great on Kaya's murderous rage and breakdown though.

As long as I live I will never understand why Mr. Braus could be so pathetic as to forgive his daughter's killer. Especially knowing what happens later in, no true parent would just let their childs killer into their family. It's disgraceful.

I'm anti cringe culture but by that I mean that bullying kids for drawing fursonas and being nombinary is shitty and not that nothing and no one should be criticized. I call media cringe or behaviors cringe sometimes but only if there's something actually wrong or bigoted about it.

I call myself an idiot/stupid a lot. This is not self depreciation and is the reclamation of ableist language. I take pride in being someone who is not academically put together and who falls very short of any intellectual standards. At the same time miss me with that IQ shit bc that's based in white supremacy.

I have trauma surrounding debate and debate culture that I don't want to explain but basically do not attempt to debate me. I will not do it and it stresses me out. Discuss things yes but debate no.

If you recognize my typing style and me and we're mutuals/friends on other blogs and I haven't told you about this one it doesn't mean I was hiding it from you and if I criticize something you enjoy that I've never criticized to you it's not a vague to you it's likely because my mental ill brain decided if I have opinions everyone will hate me so I made a blog for it.

haha oh wow what a question~ it so hard to decide lol (under a cut bc i couldn’t pick just one fav, so it ended up being super long lmao♥)

i guess if i had to choose.. my number one would probably have to be makoto confessing that he loves haru in the high speed movie (it doesnt really fit with the continuity, but damn if it aint the sweetest, most pure and full of love scene in the whole series♥)

just makoto working through his feelings and finally coming to terms with one of his biggest issues regarding whether he swims because he likes it, or if he’s just there because of haru. that he comes to the conclusion that its both, that he loves haru… i love this scene bc its these two talking out their feelings and working things out! 

i also consider this when makoto realizes his feelings for haru♥

tho i definitely have to mention my favorite scene from when the series first came out! this scene is so soft and so dear to me, i honestly just really love it with my whole heart♥ ♥ (haha i guess im weak to confession scenes)

just makoto’s soft blush, the intimacy,, the light returning to haru’s eyes after feeling troubled for so long!!♥ ♥ it really shows just how soothing and comforting these two are to each other, and how much they care about each other,, its so good (and the OST from this part always used to make me cryy!! its so good, like when the guitar starts, im gone; ;))

one of my favs from s2 is probably the entirety of episode 8 when makoto was helping out at the SC! sweet soft makoto teaching smol little babies how to swim was the absolute sweetest omg!! and u kno i have a HUGE weakness for jealous!haru🙏 🙏 🙏 just,, haru saying he won’t visit makoto, but then making up a bunch of excuses to drop by, before just making it a habit to pick him up every day kills me😂😂

tho tbh this scene kills me every goddamn time,, the gorgeous animation,, haru’s starstruck expression,, i love this so much.. makoto races haru because he feels jealous of the passion he has with rin (which breaks my heart) but i also feel like part of this was proving to haru that makoto wont leave; that haru wont hurt makoto with swimming. haru is still scarred by how bad things went with rin and its a fear he still struggles with, so makoto’s loving support through his own issues here is just so so good and so healing and i love it♥ ♥ ♥

and ohh my god makoto’s dream from the beginning of Take Your Marks kills me 😂😂 tbh i don’t ever think i will ever stop screaming about this, like oohh my god,, that ♥Waifu Material♥,, and just makoto literally dreaming about his domestic life of cooking breakfast for haru and then haru deadass just stripping oh my god😂 there is no heterosexual explanation for this omg(also its just the sweetest thing ever,, makoto is so soft,,♥ ♥ ♥)

lmao and since im putting my favs from each installment, the baby makoharu montage from Timeless Medley was just so fucking cute~~ watching them grow up together and tiny lil baby mako and haru are so adorable!! his little feets~~ (i miss the days when makoto was shorter than haru~) and just tiny mako hiding behind haru and haru getting ready to protect him,, is my favorite thing♥

and of course the new season has so much good makoharu content so far,, haru teasing poor makoto and the heartwarming staple of this show and their relationship of makoto extending his hand to haru♥ i just love the lighthearted scenes and im so so excited for the rest of the season!!♥

(pt3) for example i personally love hearing about good parts of the east bc it's always shown like hell on earth when it wasn't all bad really? and i don't think i ever noticed anything about our landscape but that might just be bc i didn't pay attention 😅 is there sth specific that stuck out to you? and off the top of my head the first difference that comes to my mind is how there is still a pay gap between east and west which is mindblowing to me, and then the general behaviour?

(pt4) like my english teacher was from baden-württemberg and he had really big problems adjusting to our general tone? like apparently people in the west are more open and easier to approach which i found really fascinating. and i mean we are pretty divided by language though that's not exactly a west/east conflict i mean sachsen and berlin have such different dialects too. oh & i meant west germany until 90 - that just feels like the history of a different country to me.

Of all his hallucinations, Sam is most affected by Dean.

We have back to back moments of Team Free Will members doing something terrible and feeling more like shit than they already do.

(Also, I was convinced that Ruby withheld demon blood on purpose. Any other time Sam has called Ruby to come to him, she’s there almost immediately. But the time that Sam urgently needs her, she stays away...but then I thought that maybe she did arrive to Sam’s location, and saw that he was with Dean and didn’t dare approach. She might’ve followed Sam throughout that entire episode and found that there was never a window of opportunity to approach him, without risk of getting caught. Then Sam got taken to Bobby’s and it was game over for her, so she had to lie low until she heard from Sam again.)

Ah ok, so my attempt at explaining unseen things kinda went out the window: Ruby was looking for Lilith the whole time, aka three weeks.

(Which would actually kinda confirm my half suspicion that she purposely withheld blood from Sam. Ruby’s so manipulative, there’s no way of telling what’s true until it’s too late.)

“I’m sorry you’re hurting. Really.” Ooohhhh, what a manipulation.

Ruby’s tone and micro-expression when she says “I mean, he knows you better than anyone.” seem to suggest that she wanted Sam to say she knows him better.

It’s so sick and twisted that Ruby got Sam addicted to her blood. She was most likely the first demon he drank blood from.

Dean knows Sam so well, even when Sam is trying his hardest to throw him off.

How come Sam and Dean didn’t question the fact that they were being told by the opposite ends of the spectrum that they were the “one”? (Actually, I can answer my own question: they were to busy worrying about each other and justifying making their decision as doing it for the other brother to protect them, etc...)

Sam pulls the “Dean’s not strong enough” to DEAN HIMSELF. I now realize this is Sam's “good reason” for doing the shit he’s been doing, but it comes off so terrible and disrespectful and flat out ignorant.

That little moment where Sam almost loses his temper on Dean, then catches himself and is honestly so scary.

I understand Sam’s need to be independent, make his own choices, and to have Dean trust him as much as he trusts Dean. I sympathize with Sam wanting to lead every now and then...but not like this, Sam.Would anyone trust a strung out addict that is being manipulated and puppeted by an untrustworthy person (demon, in this case)?
