Ough, I know this is something that’s been gone over again and again and again but I can’t stop thinking about how fucking weird shipper discourse is.

And I don’t even mean like ship wars, I mean the pro vs anti shipper stuff. Why are you so so keen on trying to censor any sort of writing / art my guy? If you don’t like it just block it, its really that easy.

It causes absolutely no harm. Do I get why people ship incest and minors and whatnot? No. But as far as I’m aware they’re engaging in a fandom just like I am, enjoying a ship, just like I do, with a stranger dynamic than I’m used to. Who fucking cares? This is truly a ‘touch grass’ thing if you think people writing fiction on the internet hurts anyone.

How do people deal with being in the minority of people in their twenties who no one has ever had a crush on? Knowing that I’m functionally undesirable and that NO ONE has ever looked at me and had a serious romantic+sexual, non-fetishising crush is really fucking bumming me out.

Like I can’t talk about this with friends because they don’t believe and just say that I’m putting myself down, I can’t afford a therapist to talk to about this, and now I’m no longer aroace so I’m getting crushes and finding people attractive while knowing that I’m never going to experience those feelings reciprocated.

I’ve been through objectively worse things in my life but knowing that I’m always going to be yearning for a connection that I’ll never get is enough to make me wanna truly end it all.

Any genuine tips for dealing with this???

Eddie Munson’s writing Wizard-metal love songs about Steve Harrington in a language he’ll never understand. His band loves it because it’s fantastical, it’s intense, it’s metal. Eddie likes it because it’s about the feeling of loving someone that, to his knowledge, he can never have.

Powerscalers have their heads so shoved up Akainu's ass I’m seriously questioning if they really watch the show at all. Luffy has not and will not EVER pick a crewmate based solely on usefulness to him when this exact line of thinking pissed him off so bad during Arlong Park and his fight with Arlong.

Luffy picked Nami without ever seeing her actually navigate, he wanted Sanji without trying his cooking, he chose Chopper simply for being a fellow monster, he wasnt even aware little dude was even a doctor. He didn’t know what a Poneglyph was when he accepted Robin as one of their own. The same Luffy who considers one of the most important aspects of pirate life to be music and consistently saying how badly they need a musician??

I just know we aren’t talking about the guy that wanted to recruit a tree in Thriller Bark like this. “Oh but that was just a gag.” Maybe to us but not to Luffy, he really wanted that tree.

Luffy picked the people on his crew because he likes them, he’s an insanely good judge of character with a high level for emotional intelligence and people willfully choosing to ignore that undermines his character a lot.

Regulus is undeniably beautiful all the time. But one of James’ favorites might be first thing in the morning, before he’s even woken up.

There’s a ray of sunlight shining across his raven black curls—one of which has fallen onto his forehead just begging to be tucked behind his ear, but James won’t risk disturbing him. His forehead and eyebrows are relaxed and free of any worry or stress. His long eyelashes are resting peacefully on his cheeks. His lips are parted just the slightest bit, and his breathing is soft and steady. James could watch Regulus sleep for hours and never get bored.

“Stop watching me sleep, it’s creepy.” Regulus mumbles without opening his eyes.

James’ hand is like a magnet to that one curl now that he knows Regulus isn’t fully asleep.

“I’m not watching you sleep. I’m admiring your beauty.” James tells him as he tucks the curl behind his ear.

“While I’m sleeping, so it’s still creepy.” Regulus’ soft, groggy morning voice is one of James’ other favorite things.

“Are you awake now?” James asks as he leans in and kisses Regulus forehead.

“No.”

James chuckles softly. “You’re not?”

“No. Go away.” Regulus mutter softly but he shifts slightly and moves his head to rest on James’ chest.

“I can’t really go away with you on top of me, love.” James wraps his arm around Regulus, pulling him in.

“Shhh. ‘m sleeping.” Regulus snuggles impossibly closer.

“Okay.” James whispers and kisses the top of his curls.

Regulus’ breathing evens out quickly as he falls back to sleep. James squeezes him once before he drifts back to sleep right along with him.
