I'm trying to write down notes into my vocabulary for my exam tomorrow (🙏🙏🙏), and this made me wonder: who, out of the cast, cheat during tests? And also, how would they react if they noticed the MC cheating (looking at you Vi)?

Gabe doesn't cheat, half because he doesn't need to and half because nothing is worth losing his scholarship — simple.

Kile cheats on occasion, though never in any social way.

Jack doesn't cheat because it's a bad, immoral thing and also Very against the rules.

Jessie doesn't cheat! She doesn't need to, want to, or like it. She'll let a struggling friend cheat off of her, though lol

Rain doesn't cheat because they just can't be bothered with the effort that takes 😆 Grade point average be damned

R cheats 😂 of course they do. Usually limited to copying a friend or acquaintance, but they're not above more illicit cheating, like copying an answer key. something you'll have to help them with in chapter 4 😊

Vi never cheats. Never has, never will.

Curt cheats occasionally. Usually in arguably indirect ways, like gauging other people's reactions to him asking a question about a question 😆 that sorta thing

It was a dangerous game they were playing - a very, very dangerous game.

So far so good, John hadn’t noticed the way the spiral notebook kept moving between them, at one moment in front of Ashley, the next slid over a few inches to rest in front of Josh; nor had he given them any reason to believe he’d clocked how quickly they were writing once it was their turn. If he had, well...he was one of those professors who prided himself on embarrassing his students, so there was no doubt in either of their minds that he’d grab that notebook off the table, give it a shake, then proceed to read everything they’d been scribbling out to the rest of the class.

There’d be plenty to read, too, just...not what he was expecting, probably.

Unless, of course, what he was expecting was a sprawling story about himself getting lost in a ghost town, every other sentence (the ones Josh was writing, obviously) seeing him falling, or tripping, or, on more than one occasion, bending over too far and ripping his pants right across the ass before farting loudly to scare off any of the ghosts Ashley kept trying to write in.

So yeah, it was a dangerous game the two of them were playing, passing that notebook back and forth and doing their best not to break into giggles each time...one that was probably a little more dangerous for John’s ego than, say, either of their grades.
