This was such a blast!! Thanks for having me!

I threw a Jurassic World Chaos Theory watch party for some of the other storyboard artists and friends today, and celebrated the occasion by recreating a version of my old desk setup from the office (dinosaur toys, drawing reference, memes, gifts, crew drawings, etc.) with a little Ben flair.

sharing my opinion here about serizawas design inconsistencies over time (spoilers for mp100 ending) i feel like in each new rendition of serizawa weve seen in official art ever since the start of S3 something feels off in a different way with every new merch release

lets start here ⬇ serizawa looks like,, himself. accurate to how hes drawn since his first anime appearance

⬇⬇⬇ and then slowly,,, things start to look off. his jawline is slowly getting slimmer, his eyes look wider (same with mobs too)

AND DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THESE. especially the one on the right my god. who is that

every new promo art that comes out just feels very careless. I think you could say so for all the characters (mobs giant eyes, reigens waist getting skinnier/pointier features. the PROMO art of dimple that was literally FULLY TRACED OFF OF A TEMU PIRATE HALLOWEEN COSTUME. they all look bad here)

it just feels a little depressing how little they seem to care anymore, like theyre just trying to pump out merch without bothering to use a character reference.

i notice the changes the most with serizawa. every promo art looks like theyre playing a game of telephone. each version of him is based on the last, instead of his initial design (shown below)

at the end of S2, when reigen cuts serizawas hair, he still looks like himself. they did a great job of showing "how serizawa would look underneath his moustache and big hair". In S3 it feels like they've lost that mentality completely. like he's no longer based off of his original design, but an entirely new reference of his salary man look. some comparisons between S3 vs S2 and OVA down below

I find that the line weight in S3 is much heavier and unfocused. but what bothers me most of all is that... Serizawa looks different in nearly every scene... as if they're undecided on what he should look like. the shape of his nose and jaw, his hair all change depending on the episode entirely.

The art style change for S3 was meant to be "more accurate to the manga", but I find that it had the opposite effect. especially how serizawas and ritsus eye shapes changed. ritsus large pupils and serizawas more almond shaped eyes were more reflective of their manga designs there are plenty of inconsistences in S1 and 2, but they're clearly done with purpose to reflect on ONEs art style (my beloved). I feel like the thinner lines allow more room for detail and extreme facial expressions that truly hold a candle to ONEs insane talent for capturing emotions.

just felt very underwhelming... and serizawa certainly does mellow out once he starts working at S&S, but that doesn't mean that there's less opportunity for detailed expressions !!

the yokai fight scene was beautifully made i have no qualms.. but the amount of serizawa lore and dialogue in the manga that got cut from the anime just made him look like a cardboard cut out standing behind everyone. lots of funny and interesting moments cut to make room for the moefication of serizawa katsuya..

I feel like there's a lot of important moments that were cut, (reigen "i hope i can become a partner like that" arataka, serizawa "ive had a similar experience myself" katsuya )

or sad, intense scenes that were made lighthearted (the body improvement club trying to help mob, mob and ??? dialogue being cut, reigen removing his shoes in the final arc made to be meant for better grip rather than... his passively suicidal tendencies )

i think the people at bones are very talented dont get me wrong, i just felt like S3 could have been adapted better. this keeps me up at night its like 1am :) anywhosies thank you for listening to my ted talk i love you

✨♌️ Sturniolo Triplets 2025 Predictions ☄️✨

First of all, HAPPY NEW YEAR! Thanks to you all for such a glorious welcome to the Sturniolo Tumblr Fandom! 🤍 I've had such a great time here so far, and I'm so thankful for literally every person I've met so far on this app. I do hope (and know) there will be newer accounts who are new additions to this fandom made this 2025, and to them, I say welcome, and they are welcome on my account with open arms! 🥹🤍✨

Here are the predictions I have for the Sturniolos! Be warned that some may not even happen this 2025 and I might be getting messages of things that may occur in 2025, or things that are still occuring that have existed since the last 3 months since 2024. Tarot and energy reading is like that sometimes since time is not linear and energy can shift and be read differently as time progresses.

With that all being said, here are some predictions I have for the boys individually, as well as group-wise as brothers and as a brand.

🍀✨ The Sturniolo Triplets' Predictions as a whole entity ✨🍀

New group projects. This includes new video ideas, new ways of producing and creating content, and even doing trials of new ways to present their content.

Tour prep or even the start of a tour. This tour will be different from the rest, with newer ideas and fun activities for them and the fans to enjoy! They may even expand to newer countries and areas.

Travelling. The boys will experience new cultures and have agreat time in other countries together. Seeing Nick venture off into these new places in a different hemisphere allowed them to pull off that bandage of being more open to travelling further than just different states in the U.S.

More fan involvement in content, less fan involvement in personal lives. There will definitely more of a connect with their fandom when it comes to creating newer ideas and videos. However, they don't want to allow the fans into their personal lives as much anymore due to obsessive fan behavior that occurred to them both privately and publicly over the past few years (specifically 2023 and 2024). Less of them posting with friends and family except for just a few that they may collab with or those who feel a bit more comfortable with backlash or any hate they may receive.

More collabs with different YouTube and Twitch creators, even those that you all are probably not expecting.

Music involvement. I can't say too much on this, however I see them being involved in the music world, especially behind the scenes. This may be involvement in videography of music videos, promo for music, being sponsored, and just having more fun with their music friends and newer people as well.

Will the triplets themselves release music? Y'all will have to see...

New ways to do and film car videos, probably will film them a bit less? The car video visions and energies always fluctuate. On one hand, the boys love the comfy feel of them and would love to continue. On the other hand, from a profession perspective, sometimes they feel bored of them and feel as if they repeat the same content. So, to be honest, in terms of a prediction I feel content in, I don't really even have a clue with what they'll do. I want to say that they'll try new forms of car videos and then ditch the idea the following year or just do it every now and then within other forms of content. We'll have to see. This seems more of a late 2025/early 2026 thing. Idk.

🦋🍃 Matt Sturniolo Predictions 🍃🦋

Reading a lot more. He will definitely pick up more books, and even feel inspired to write his own one day.

More quiet on socials. If you think he was quiet now, just wait. He'll go ghost even more, especially just due to staying away from toxicity and the internet. It fucks with his brain.

A romantic relationship. I think he'll have a relationship or two. Seems fair to say. But I wanna give you all advice on this: From his spirit guides, they want you all to CHILL and BUTT OUT of his personal romantic endeavors. They know there will be bad apples, but if you can do your part, please oh please do not post about them a lot or be super negative. I personally wanna say there will be a girlfriend who is not a fan favorite and you all don't have to guess which girlfriend this will be... Y'all can say whatever you want about her honestly. She's kinda... hm. Anyway, you all will know when the time comes. You'll feel her intentions in your guts. The other girl I'm seeing is an absolute sweetheart omg protect her.

New friends. He'll step out of his comfort zone a lot more and make new friends. This is kinda along the same timeline of having a new romantic relationship.

More confident in certain aspects of himself. This is due to new inspirations, new motivations, and new endeavors he will have.

Personal YouTube videos. Yes. That is the post.

A lot personable in terms of conversations of mental health. He'll be having heart to hearts with people about his mental health both in the past and in the future. He definitely wants to be more of an advocate and champion of mental health rights and conversations.

Fashion ventures. Not saying much about this. But be prepared. New clothes, new appearances, new poses, new models!

🧡✨ Chris Sturniolo Predictions ✨🧡

New collaborations, sponsors, partnerships, etc. He will be making his own personal coin with these sorts of deals. They seem to be sports related, music related, fashion related, pop culture related.

New music things. New friends in music, new deals in music, new favorite artists, bigger artists, new concerts, bigger concerts and venues. He will be flown out to new things (by himself and alongside his brothers).

New clothes! Definitely a lot more and very different stylistic choices. He wants to experiment with newer aesthetics, colors, jewelry, textures, designs, etc. A lot more IG pics of him stunting in new fits to say the least. Also includes New Fresh Love clothes and accessories with new models!

More of a social media grind. Or at least he'll want to. There will be a point where he won't post and everyone will be like ??? But don't worry, it's for great reasons!

Dating. There's not much else to say about this. Y'all get the idea.

New friends. Kinda said all this before. And this applies to all three triplets tbh.

New interests! He definitely will be exploring new things a lot more this year. TBH I feel like he does every year, as this is sort of a resolution for him.

Less fear in social situations on his own? I think all of the newer ventures will make him feel a bit more comfortable on his own. I wouldn't say he'll be fully independent, just that he'll be more open to independence.

More flexing. Just sighed while typing this, but in more of a "Oh brother, here he goes again..." joking way.

Some scandal going on either involving him or involving someone who he is associated with that people will try to group him with. It will set him off course a bit, but he'll manage.

He will also curse and call people out when necessary.

🪁🪩 Nick Sturniolo Predictions 🪩🪁

Sooo many more ideas, soooo many more things to do, people to meet, deals to make, etc. In short, he will be grinding.

New friends! He's going to meet new people who fulfill him a lot more. The fans will definitely see him branch out more and hanging out with familiar as well as shocking new faces.

More independence. He will be doing more things on his own (just as his brothers will be). He'll just be flying like a bird (literally and figuratively).

Dating/Exploring. That's it.

Exploring his photography and videography a lot more. You all will definitely be seeing his name in some places you all wouldn't believe!

Collaborations. Whether it's other creators, other brands, etc., y'all will see it and have to blink twice.

New Space Camp products/ventures. Some seem more limited and more of like "trial runs", while others seem like things he'll definitely be keeping in stock. Also new lip flavors. I sense things that are fruity, fun, and definitely even more flavorful than the last packs. He will be working with newer people in his Space Camp brand.

Heartbreaks and a bit of down times. I hate bringing this up, but these are things I sense, especially with certain friends and people in his life. He will feel a bit down about these disconnections. But he'll live through them!

You all can ask me questions in my ask about other predictions and questions about things I didn't bring up. There are things I probably missed out on or just forgot to add, and so when you all ask me about them, I will post the links to the answers of those asks on this post so you all can go back to them!

Remember, some of these may not even be this year. They can be things that bleed out to 2026, or later if the guides were just super hype and wanted me to say them earlier! 😭🤍

And this also isn't about me trying to prove something. I hardly ever go back and checkmark things that are accurate in my other posts, so I don't really plan on doing it with these predictions (unless I'm super proud of it!). I'm not an egotistical reader who loves to prove how accurate she is (not saying all readers who do this are like this).

There were two panels related to Spy x Family at Anime Expo this year, with the first on Day 1 being Toho Animation's panel featuring both Spy x Family and Kaiju No.8.

The panel started with the SxF portion, with the special guests being the series director, Kazuhiro Furuhashi, and the CODE: White director, Takashi Katagiri. They also had the six SxF ThreeZero figures on the stage with them 😀

The MC asked them some questions, like what their favorite scenes were from their respective works and who their favorite character is. They also showed behind-the-scenes footage of both the Loid/Fiona tennis match in season 1, and Yor's fight scene against Type F in the movie. We got to see both of these scenes in rough animatic sketch form and then in line art form, which was pretty cool (it wasn't clear if photo/video was prohibited at this panel, but I didn't want to risk it by being caught blatantly recording these exclusive clips, lol). Then they showed off some of Anya's unused outfits from the movie.

At the end, they showed this original illustration by Kyoji Asano, made specifically for this event 😁

And that was it for the SxF part of the panel before they moved on to Kaiju No.8...and to be honest, it kinda overshadowed the SxF part, mostly because it featured two of the main Kaiju No.8 voice actors, one of which was extremely hilarious and charismatic. Plus there were a lot more segments compared to the SxF part. The interview with the guests seemed longer, they did three live voice overs, showed a pre-recorded special message from the band that performs the Kaiju No.8 opening, and then they took a group photo with the audience (and maybe something else that I'm forgetting). It seemed like the SxF part took up about 35% of the panel's time while Kaiju No.8 took up 65%. Not sure why it felt so unbalanced, but it was still fun.

Next was the panel on Day 3 for Production IG and their related studios WIT and Signal MD. Heads of each studio were there, including George Wada from WIT. Photo/video wasn't allowed once the panel started, but it basically consisted of an interview with the different guests, then trailers/teasers for their upcoming projects, then a Q&A session.

WIT is the studio that makes SxF, so I was hoping for any news about season 3, specifically if WIT would be more involved with it than they were with season 2. For those who don't know, season 1 of SxF was made by both WIT Studio and Cloverworks. But when they decided to make both season 2 and the movie in 2023, they split up the work, with WIT focusing on the movie while Cloverworks did pretty much all the work on season 2 (which is why the animation in season 1 and season 2 looks a bit different). According to this tweet, the official staff listing for season 3 is the same as season 2, meaning WIT will once again have little involvement. But despite this, they had a slide during the presentation with the season 3 promo image (preceded by the CODE: White teaser trailer, which made the crowd go wild - glad there were lots of SxF fans in the audience!) George Wada also said in regards to season 3 that they're "working hard on it."

I wanted to confirm during the Q&A if WIT would again take a backseat during season 3's production as well, but unfortunately the panel only had a few minutes left when it was close to my turn, and then they opted to pick a few random people in line for their last questions (which I thought was kind of unfair). Guess we'll just have to wait and see if anything changes with that staff listing once we get closer to season 3's release.

Overall, while Takuya Eguchi's appearance at last year's AX was more fun, it was still cool to attend this year's SxF-related panels as well. Hopefully season 3 will either be airing or close to being released at next year's AX, so we'll have even more SxF events!

I'm gonna be honest here, words cannot describe how much I hate that Rudison thread on Twitter and how resentful I am to that person for creating it.

The whole thing is narrating fans speculations and rumors as ultimate facts on what happened to Rudy and Madison behind the scenes when in reality NO ONE knows what happened between them for certain and what angers me the most is knowing that these are exactly the type of things that make both of them (especially Rudy) even more distant and cold and detached from the show.

I might be dramatic but this shit could've singlehandedly made things catastrophic for the show, there's no way it hasn't reached them or anyone from the cast/Netflix... like, 18 MILLION views and 80k likes is insane and I know for stuff like this Rudy would lose his mind.

I honestly can't stand when the "fans" act like this towards Rudison, they're always crying about how much they miss them and how they wish they could go back to what they were and then they purposely go on social media doing and saying things that they know damn well Rudy and Madison can't stand at all, it's almost as if they do it on purpose…and then act all surprised when the two of them get uncomfortable on camera.

What good is this gonna do to them and to the show? It's only gonna make things 10 times worse and much more hostile, the only thing this helps with is creating an even bigger fracture and a more uncomfortable environment for them and the rest of the cast/crew.

If Rudy wasn't leaving the show already maybe he will now, 'cause a shit like that going viral to 18 million people AND COUNTING, I know is gonna make him (and Madison) mad.

I'mma be honest, I truly hope they sue for that thread (especially since the account is now monetizing from it with the blue check) 'cause it ain't normal how easily people think they can say and do whatever they want behind a screen about people's personal lives without any repercussions (‘cause news flesh Rudy, Madison and their partners are people whose mental health also matters).

Spreading fan speculations and rumors as real facts and creating such a malicious image for the both of them to MILLIONS is insane.

We always say "omg they're so immature" but to be honest Rudy and Madison have been far too patient for far too long, people constantly say the most deranged things to them and their partners (including friends and families at times) without any consequences...it's not normal.

On the long run shit like this inevitably has consequences on their mental health and their relationships and there’s gonna be a point when they’re gonna be TOO fed up and can’t deal with it anymore, don’t act surprised then if they leave the show, y’all did this and seem pretty happy while doing it.

That thread created such an unpleasant atmosphere right before the release of the new season and attracted so many negative reactions towards them that I honestly don't understand how anyone who calls themselves fans of the show, of Rudy or Madison can be giddy about it.

Play stupid games and win stupid prizes... don't act surprised if Rudy leaves OBX or if they don't look at each other in the face during promo when some "fans" do THE MOST to add fuel to the fire.

It’s less than 2 months since the release of a season that we've waited for almost 2 years and the fandom should be filled with excitement and positivity talking about the story and theorizing about it, yet everyone is doing the most to ruin it focusing on the wrong stuff (which are sadly hard to ignore when the consequences effect the show hence all the fans).

I hope by the time the season comes out y'all will have calmed your tits with the malicious gossips, bunch of Regina George wanna be.

The first batch of season 2 photos we got were from Vanity fair on august 24th, but those photos plus a bunch of others are now available together somewhere i’ll say in a sec. Here is the article that showed us the first look at s2: VANITY FAIR ARTICLE

So, warner bros discovery gave us an *almost* complete collection of currently released photos. This does include the vanity fair photos but most of these you can’t find anywhere else. they say which episode every photo is from and let you download them too which is pretty cool. The final thing I found was the exclusive photo “The Streamr” posted on twitter. In fact there’s this whole thing happening with the OFMD twitter fandom and The Streamr and apparently they’ve posted exclusive photos that aren’t in the Warner Bros collection. Once again I am not actively on twitter so I don’t really know that much. I was only able to find one exclusive image posted by them but if there are any more please let me know. Firstly, just wanted to say you have a terrific blog - I was a big 1D fan way back when and kind of fell off religiously following them and the fandom around 2016/17 but Louis was always my fave since WMYB and I was always big into Larry hoping that after the band things would get better for them. Something that always struck me with that as the years went by and Harry became this megastar was that if he was so successful and so famous surely his influence and pull would have positive repercussions on Louis, the person he loves most. I always found it a bit odd that Louis didn’t take off until way later and has seemingly worked from the ground up, plus him judging on TXF always seemed bizarre to do when your trying to establish a solo career.

Anyways, in the past 2 months I found myself listening to 1D again which led me to Louis solo stuff and god if FITF isn’t an amazing album - All this Time definitely my fave but so many good songs on it! I’ve heard some of Harry’s stuff casually (I think it’s pretty impossible to miss at this point) and it’s been catchy but never anything I’ve been dying to relisten to. Some of Louis songs though just hit so hard for me and I’m really glad to see he’s had a really successful recent tour and played all those festivals, it seems that his carving out a name for himself his own way.

I’ve been working through your blog and your analysis really hit some home truths for me about Harry and the industry at large but more so the way you discuss Larries being the first to throw Louis away/boycott him is so correct. I never thought about how there’s never been the same kind of harsh judgement from Larries about Harry and I think a lot of it boils down to them misrepresenting Louis as someone who is scared to come out/has internalised homophobia and they see Harry as this free beacon of love and light. It does seem like to a lot of them Harry can do no wrong and Louis just seems to get much harsher criticism. I know he’s been the one to deny Larry a bunch but that also always made me feel a bit off too, like he’s been dealt the shit hand and Harry just gets off easy.

Anyway, apologies for the long rant but I also wanted to ask if you have like a master post about what went on in 2018/19/20 behind the scenes/with the ending of their relationship. I really want to get a better understanding of it all.

Thanks for the nice words. I’m linking a post that has a collection of my thoughts about Louis, Harry, Larry, 2018-20, and how Sony/ industry monitored these respective fandoms to separate Harry from Larry while keeping those fans, and at the same time, delayed Louis’ solo career as long as possible (since they were both under Sony labels).

Here it is.

This post explains when I began to doubt that they were “in it together,” even just as a 1D brotherhood. I was impressed by the fact that in 2017, the very first Louis solo interview (to promote Back To You) was with Dan Wootton, and the very first topic they discussed was a Larry denial. They talked more about this topic than about any other aspect of Louis’ career, including his new single. Since most Louis’ and Harry’s fans were Larries at that time, Louis’ interview could only have turned more of them into solo Harries and away from Louis.

So why did Louis agree do it? Why didn’t Harry do the same in 2017? And why has Harry never denied Larry, when he’s been given multiple chances?

In retrospect, it seems that Louis felt compelled to do it in exchange for something … and we’ll never know what that exchange was about. But 2017-18, he didn’t release an album or tour as he hinted, and as promised from his BTY promo.

Larries have always had this fantasy that Louis “sacrificed himself” so Harry could succeed (the OP of that post once wrote that Louis lied about having an actual album in 2017). That head canon extended to 2023, by the way. They also thought Irving Azoff was secretly helping Louis.

But Louis isn’t stupid, and as we now can see, Louis wanted a solo career as a performer. So again, the question is why did he agree with helping to promote Harry in 2017?

Whatever you believe about their relationship, in 2018 it was also becoming clear to me that communications had stopped. Whatever I saw seemed to be done for the sake of marketing.

Again, in an interview with Dan Wootton in 2019 to promote Two Of Us, Louis described the relationship with Harry as “one of mutual respect” but his words were very carefully, strategically neutral. Dan had previously written an article in 2015 describing how Louis and Harry hated each other’s guts, and Louis knew this, sitting across from him.

As we know that Harry’s team uses Rolling Stone magazine as PR, and basically RS journalist Rob Sheffield to publish HSHQ marketing points, what Sheffield wrote about Harry’s House was interesting in so many meta ways, especially on how it pertains to Louis, Harry, and Larry. Prior to the band breakup, Sheffield compared Larry to tumultuous lovers Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham from Fleetwood Mac.

It is also interesting to note that a lot of cross-promotion stopped after Louis switched labels to BMG.

hello! i was wondering if you're familiar with the process of a canvas story becoming an original/how long it normally takes? there was a comic on canvas i was following that was supposed to become an original but after almost a year of no updates and no move to originals, the author made a post about merch and then dropped off again. can it really take a year or longer to make the transition or is it more likely the author lost interest in the comic? (and i understand that redrawing pages or preparing a buffer would take time, it's more the complete lack of communication/updates and only popping up to drop merch that seems concerning to me)

Ah, I'm not an Originals creator so I'm definitely not an authority on this or fully informed of how things work behind the scenes in any way shape or form, but there have definitely been loads of cases where Canvas series took that length of time to become Originals. It often comes down to a variety of factors including (but not limited to):

If a series needs extensive time for pre-production and building a buffer, this can be affected by the genre (ex. action comics may take a lot more time to put together than romance comics due to having a lot more dynamic scenes that aren't just characters talking to each other)

Some creators will opt to leave their original Canvas episodes untouched but others will decide to rehaul them entirely for Originals. This means a lot of redrawing which adds onto that pre-production process.

Preparing for an Originals schedule isn't just preparing a buffer and/or rehauling episodes, for many creators it's also building extensive reference libraries made up of head turnarounds, expression sheets, 3D models, etc. for all the things they can reuse during the production process.

Webtoons itself ultimately decides when a series is set to launch, so despite a comic being ready for release, its actual launch date is often left entirely out of the creator's hands and up to Webtoons. Obviously I don't have any insight as to what decisions Webtoons is making on the backend and why (and neither do its creators in a lot of ways tbh) but sometimes it can be based purely on what Webtoons wants to release in that cycle depending on genre, theme, etc. Don't cite me on this because I'm VAGUELY remembering this from memory, but there was one incident where a creator was on a hiatus in between seasons and Webtoons announced their series was returning in the promo banner reels... before actually informing the creator their series was coming back. So that, of course, led to a lot of scrambling on the creator's part to put out all the promotional material they could to get their audience prepared for their series' return. If I dig up their name I'll be sure to update this. Though I also have a pal (who shall remain unnamed) who's an Originals creator who also had to deal with some very annoying lack of communication between themselves and Webtoons as to when their series was launching, if I recall correctly it was basically left up to a last minute "they'll call you when they call you" type situation.

All that said, there's undoubtedly only so much this particular creator you're referring to is allowed to say, and for all we know, that creator may know about as much as you do in regards to when specifically their series is launching. Unfortunately it's just the way of the beast with Webtoons, they're not exactly great at communicating so that lack of information ends up being extended to their creators and their audiences as well.

Hope that helps give you a little peace of mind that the creator is unlikely "ditching their project" and more so just still in pre-production phase! Definitely sending y'all good vibes that it releases soon <3

After the last two clips "the crow" team released on their TikTok account I came to the conclusion that the first trailer was a huge mistake.

Don't get me wrong I love the trailer but that's because I knew beforehand what was behind all that rampant action and violence. I've had read articles about the new adaptation and read the opinions of the people who went to the test screenings. Not all people read much info about this new movie so their first contact was the trailer and thought it was gonna be full of killings, fight scenes and guns. ( Another John wick sequel)

This is one of the things that contributed to the massive backlash.

It was hard to explain to the haters that the movie wasn't gonna revolve around Eric's wrath , that we were gonna se a more vulnerable side of him and the blossom of his love with Shelly , because they were right when said " you only see him fighting, like a gang member" " look at his tattoos , they are stupid "

The trailer didn't give us a glimpse of our anti hero personality or the intimacy between him and his girl. But now we FINALLY are getting what the movie is really about. And thanks to that change of focus we have also seen a change in people's opinions... The toxicity has reduced a lot.

I think I’m in the minority but I don’t really care if I see them picket or make a statement but I better not see them cross the picket line. Like I think after Spotify I began to understand that… M&H don’t have that much power/ good will with certain executives. And no one besides Sussex fans and defenders are checking for a statement. Like if they made a statement tomorrow, would people really care or would it just be seen as posturing? That being said, I really hope they are helping in the behind the scenes type way. And that they don’t cross the picket line (like literally lol but also not try to work on projects. Heart of invictus can get a pass in my books because it is meant to be released this summer. But no promo that could cross the picket). There are A LOT of big name and consistent working celebrities who have not said anything about the strike, but I believe are acting in good faith. I would like to see more of a balance of vocal and physical support along with back end support, but idk the past few months have made me much more realistic (but not always supportive) of how M&H will actually operate.

Well, overall, I definitely see what you're saying. First, I agree that the most important thing here is honoring the actual strike procedures. But I'm not sure how meaningful that is in their case, given that Harry is not a member of either union (as far as I know lol) and Meg is highly unlikely to be involved in any acting at this time. There's definitely much more danger regarding their roles as producers, but we haven't even heard a WHISPER of them having any unknown projects in production. So just speaking honestly, them refraining from scabbing themselves is really not enough. Even for the one project that we know of on the horizon, HOI like you mentioned, the opportunities to sort of "spiritually" break the strike and promote the documentary are scant given that all the normal avenues like talk shows and late night TV are on pause anyway. So I was never really worried about them on that front. But of course there could always be projects going on behind the scenes, so yes, just for good measure: our fervent prayer that they at the VERY least do not cross the picket line.

Now, in terms of showing their support publicly. I see what you're saying about how the world doesn't necessarily need a Sussex PR statement on this movement, and I agree that no one is, like, specifically waiting for Harry and Meghan™ to take a stand. But . . .

1) Does that really matter? It's what's right, and it's clearly something of which Meghan is a strong believer and supporter. You could argue that the world doesn't really need their thoughts on/support of ANY movement, but that hasn't stopped them before. The unions are up against an enormously powerful machine, and I don't think anyone with even a passing relationship to the industry (which is basically every public figure on the planet) is above showing their support. And Harry and Meghan at this point are way more tied up in the industry than merely a passing relationship, as @mmarkle detailed in her post. And . . .

2) There are more ways to take a stand than releasing a statement. They have shown their support for many different causes before on several occasions by sending food, water, supplies, or even just money to workers and volunteers. They could easily do the same thing for the strikers. And honestly, if we're worrying about how they come off to the public (which I am not lol, but I understand that some fans still are), direct action is a great way to show "authentic" and "genuine" support for a movement. This is a huge story that they (for better or worse) have a lot of ties to. Both morally and strategically, I would expect them to take a stand here.

Ok let's be clear here, there are two types of contracts... Idol Trainnee Contracts and Idol Contracts. A trainnee contract can be up to 5 years and Idol one up to 7. BTS's first started on 13th June 2013 and ended on 12th June 2020 (7 years). We know this because they stated this during the BangBangCon Live concert.

So, 2018 was not their contract end, it was when BigHit initiated contract renegotiations.

Also, technically 2017 was when they started to take off (DNA and Billboard Awards noms anyone?).

Firstly, the fact that BTS didn't have any money was probably because not 2-3 years earlier BH was on for verge of not continuing with the BTS project until I The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Pt. 1 was released and they started to make some money. Also remember, for most of 2016/2017 they were on tour or promoting. So when were they gonna spend there money?

Also, after Wings Tour there was bit of down time for them during the renegotiations, which by the BIgHit insisted they involve the Parents and outside legal counsel if the wished to do so.

I think the initial contract stipulated that all should live together in a dorm provide by BH. I have theorised that post contract re-sign they were all allowed to purchase their own property and live there. We know Jin was living somewhere else in 2018, as was Tae & Yoongi in 2019, and by the 2020 nearly all were living away from the dorm.

Also, J Hope's purchase was for his parents. How do this? Well Leetuk has mentioned on several occasions bumping in them at his home in Trimage.

Anyway, we know that a solo era has always been in the works and was meant to happen from 2021, but covid and all that jazz.

Additionally, this solo era would have been negotiated as part of their new contract (which according to some was set to end in 2024) AND that BH would be manging said solo era. We know this because the boys mention this and so have HYBE themselves.

In order for any member to sign deals they would have to notify their management company... why? Because THEY ARE UNDER CONTRACT with NH, and said management company would likely need to be INVOLVED IN THOSE CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS, with other brands, because they manage artist schedules, security and styling, so it doesn't conflict with HYBE/BH plans/policy and BTS concept; as well as it not conflicting with anything in their contract with BTS. People who don't get this are idiots and shouldn't be allowed anywhere near social media.

Agencies are designed to represent their Artists, some fans may not like that but that is an actual fact and BigHit is continuing to represent BTS in their solo era, including with brand deals, features and variety show work.

We don't know the ins and outs of what was agreed regarding Tae and JK's solo work, But JK's FIFA song, got tweeted about and behind the scenes work by BH. Tae's work with Jinny's kitchen has had some promos, and but the Sim Invest deal might and lack of announcement might have something to do with BTS's contract with Tokopedia, and e-commerce company in the same country.

We don't know, so stop suggesting something based on vagueness.

Second, he makes a good point about how they were so overexposed as a band that he just needed time to breathe when he came out of 1D so he stayed away from all the press etc so he could "progress as a human". I love how he said he needed time to figure out what he likes because it's important to his identity. Zayn and Harry are very different people but it's a general human need to take that step back which is something Harry never really had. I make educated assumptions often but this one made me sad because it feels more real when Zayn backed it up - how that break is necessary for human growth. Niall has taken time for himself from releasing his last album during covet not touring and now you can see that it’s really helped him and Louis has taken time to himself, and took time to process all the things that he has gone through, but also took his time with putting music out. Harry has not taken any time off since One Direction went on hiatus. He immediately started working on solo music after One Direction when I paid us then film the movie, then went back to making music released his first album when on tour for about a year and then he himself said that he took 10 days off before he started working on Fine Line and spent a year working on that album then released that album was supposed to go on a tour didn’t end up going on a tour took very little time to himself then started working on Harry’s House. Filmed to movies went on a two-year tour and did a bunch of shit in between. Harryhas never taken a step back and took time for himself for more than a couple of weeks and it’s the difference that you see in his career compared to the other boys. Yes, Harry may be bigger and more famous but I’m gonna be completely honest, the other boys seem happier. Harry didn’t take a lot of time after One Direction split up to process what really happened to them because they put it into a solo career for it to have blown up the way that it did and not really take any time to himself. I hope after this tour is over that he does take an extended break. I feel like he truly needs it and if he doesn’t, it’s sad.

I really want him to disappear for a while, in the best way possible. I don't think his team cares about him as a person. He's treated more as a machine imo. Yes, I'm a Triple Frontier fan. I’ve watched it the moment it got released a few years ago. I’ve watched more interviews, scene clips, and gif sets of Triple Frontier content than I did back in 2019. It was an interesting December 2023 for TF fan me. I can't wait for Triple Frontier 2: Santiago's Electric Boogaloo. That’s not the official title but I’m gonna jokingly call it that until we get official promo like a trailer or poster. I'm cherishing that interview/news we got that Charlie is a producer for the sequel.

wouldn’t be able to say this on twt bc i’d get grilled but it’s been on my mind a tad too much. it feels like half of them are there enjoying the promos and half of them are not in it completely- and they’re all tired. idk what’s going on behind the scenes, whether they had some extra exhausting days leading up to the comeback and release, maybe they’ve got an unusually exhausting schedule right now, but whatever it is, i hope they feel better soon and are able to enjoy the promotions, i hope they gained some strength from the mini fanmeet, and that they get to approach this with confidence. when the tannies got super successful like this, they also suffered a bit from the pressure - and i realised that, even though it’s been organic and steady growth and their dream to make it big, it’s not all that fun and games. i don’t want them to feel the way tannies did to the point of considering discontinuation of activities due to mental and physical exhaustion. i don’t want to act like i know it all because i don’t, but i also am realistic and really really hope that their label steps up and ensures they have mental health support during what seems to be one of the biggest milestones of their careers so far. everyone online is celebrating the records we’ve broken, enjoying the album and all the content, but how is no one noticing how visibly down some of the members are? all it takes is watching fancams. last year when that one fancam was released where one of them was unhappy with his outfit revealing too much, everyone was so quick to catch how upset and angry he was. why is no one talking about half of the group not smiling even once during what seems to be a fun song? i imagine they worked very hard on this one and want everything to turn out perfectly but again i hope we get to see them enjoy all of their recent achievements and how banging the title track is because they bloody deserve it

Was going through more of the out of context spoilers from SDCC 2021 now that we have more, well, context for them, and to see if any of my predictions had changed. And a few have or have been created, so let’s talk about it!

This is the first prediction that’s changed. Previously I thought it might relate to Ezran’s birthday (therefore almost a year timeskip minimum if not more) but there is a reason I don’t think it relates to Callum’s birthday, either. For starters, Ezran mentions Callum’s cake later in 4x01, like he hasn’t seen it, and his special birthday treat is just one. Therefore I am hoping (praying) this is something sweet for Rayla and Callum once they are reunited and safe, since the 30-day time frame for Aaravos’ release also has Rayla’s birthday in it, since she’s two weeks after Callum’s.

Or I could see this being something cute, like Janai and Amaya’s wedding or them having to pick between different cakes as part of the planning (before family stuff with Karim inevitably goes to shit).

Is a scene before Ezran and Zym’s promo art poster comes to fruition with them seeing Rex Igneous. This is not what Bait signed up for! Would also explain why we don’t see Ezran in the poster itself, if he’s strapped to Ezran almost like a baby carrier, or maybe even as very safe, initial bait for Rex Igneous to stir in the first place. 

My predictions for this spoiler concerning Corvus is basically the same (presumably with the Janai&Karim arc, maybe even at Janaya’s wedding) but before we weren’t sure if Corvus had stayed with Ezran or with Amaya. Now that we know he’s one of Ezran’s two (2) specific bodyguards, it means Ezran is around whenever this is happening, adding fire to my “Ezran and the dragons have to help Janai and Amaya settle some political unrest” scrap pile.

At first glance I had no clue, as it sounded like someone searching for something or rummaging through but being very bored, seemingly, at what they were finding.
