I love how Din and Cobb's first encounter is clearly supposed to be a tense standoff between two space cowboys because there's only meant to be room for one of them in this town, so we as the audience are meant to be on the edge of our seats, worried for Din and wondering who's going to shoot first... but instead everyone collectively decided that moment was full of homosexual tension and they should just kiss instead.

Heres my rewriting of her myth about her union with poseidon:

Poseidon was drawn by amphitrite's strong built and ruthless eyes (she looks more masculine then the other nymphs and less talkative)

When he made his advance she was like "nuh uh" and ran away not because she's shy but because she was not interested

And she started liking him a lil when he chased after her and looked for her in every corner of the ocean. But she was sold when he sent the dolphin to convince her. (Idk what that damn dolphin said but he gave her some good reason to put up with his bs)

In any case she is enjoying spending time with hera when poseidon is out molesting people
