Omegaverse. What if omega Sabo and alpha Law? Sabo has this warm, spicy smell like medicinal oils and Law smells like soap and shampoo mixed with rubbing alcohol.

Sabo doesn't like his scent. He thinks it's too hot and irritating. Most alphas don't like that but Ace and Luffy think it suits him. Feisty, Ace said with a suggestive smile. Cool! Luffy said with bright eyes.

Sabo's a fierce and highly self-reliant omega. Alongside that, Law's an awkward but respectful alpha. They grow to trust each other.

Law opens up about his interests first, which makes Sabo share his dreams about putting his architecture degree to good use to build omega safe houses. Law then shares about his background, about how Cora-san's an omega and why he liked Sabo's scent.

“I had a feeling this place smelt familiar when I first moved in. It’s a very warm smell. The closest thing I could think of is ginger, but it’s not really the same.”

“So it’s not terrible,” Sabo quipped.

“Not at all,” Law said, surprised Sabo would even think that. 

He continued, “It reminds me of the incense my grandfather burns to honour the dead and the medicinal oils I use whenever I get cramps. It’s a very Asian smell. That’s what I meant when I said I didn’t expect you to smell like that. I didn’t think I’d get to smell that again in a country full of white people. It’s nice. It reminds me of my childhood.”

I think this is the moment that Sabo finally fell in love... Anyways, enjoy my wips below. I think I cooked!

An important thing to remember as an artist that started out drawing characters crudely and then started learning the fundamentals, at first your art will not look nice.

At first, drawing faces and bodies in different positions will make your characters look weird, then poor perspective will make your characters look weird, and finally when all the kinda things I mentioned above will be dealt with, just the hype of finally knowing how to draw anatomy will bite you in the ass because you can do all these things, you can draw them correctly or close to that, but whether that's figure drawing knowledge gaps, or awkwards poses/composition, or just not a very harmonious combination of realism and stylization in facial features or in general, but your before and after pictures might get this look of "clear objective technical improvement but many would consider it a downgrade"

That's a very common thing. I used to be in this before/after art community, and it was so toxic it was a meme within the community that no matter how much you've improved there will be people that will say that the before is better. There's a seed of truth to these words though, what they fundamentally get wrong is this implication that you "ruined your art"

That's a big example of why you shouldn't listen to non-art people for art advice. Keep going. You're closer to your art dreams than you ever were, you just need to look into all these things like the remaining knowledge gaps or personality to your art you might've lost as you were on your anatomy grind.

Keep creating, keep looking at art that inspires you and try to think of how to make yourself like your art better. Don't get stuck on it, if it begins being unfun, please do take a breather. Also, none of that is objective, people will still prefer things different to what you find beautiful. It's alright, create what you like, that's what this post is about. If you don't wanna, don't focus on aesthetics, just the process of creating art is fun and will eventually get you in the right place, that's what I do, I just occasionally throw in things I like and sometimes they work. Take care.

Right, so Fractured Void is one of my original work I've been poking at :D It would take place in my dragon setting with Noah as the main character of course!

The setting is slightly tweaked as it's set a little bit more in the future than most of my au works, making the dragons a bit more technologically advanced. They also no longer believe in their gods and the only way to gain elemental abilities is by taking a set of tests that determine which element will fit them best and then have a device implanted in their body to make them able to use it.

Because of this most dragons remain grey eyes without elemental abilities, many not wanting to go through the effort and risks, but also due to the difficulties in maintaining the abilities. Dragons need food containing the same element that they use to stay healthy, but in this time dragon-kind have depleted most of their natural and elemental resources. Most elemental creatures have gone extinct and elemental plants are difficult to grow. There are artificial supplements, but they're expensive and not always available on demand, so maintaining good health with elemental abilities can be difficult.

To circumvent this many large settlements with big networks of flights have moved underground, steadily excavating areas to mine for the resources they need. Noah's flight happens to live in one of these settlements.

Further depleting their world of resources isn't going to make things better though, and many of the scientists in the settlement, including one of Noah's talonmates, have been working on creating a solution.

One such solution happens to be an incredible discovery found deep within the earth; the void element.

Of course the dragons know about all 14 elements, but void has always been as mythic as the gods themselves, and many believed it never existed at all. It's incredibly unique, able to mimic all other elements, bringing high promises of solving many of the problems dragon-kind is currently facing. So promising, that the team researching it blatantly disregard the danger and untamable qualities the element displays.

I've been playing with the idea of turning this into a story branching graphic novel kind of game, following Noah as his settlement falls apart and he tries to locate and keep his flightmates alive. Decisions in the story will either lean towards Bloodthirst, Survival, or Fear all of which will affect specific events. Decisions and actions can also affect the relationships Noah has with his flightmates in different ways lead to varying results. Many decisions will also of course determine Noah's own likelihood of survival or death.
