My music taste is pretty niche, but not extremely. My go-to artist is Neoni and I honestly love covers. You see, I HATED Hozier’s ‘Too Sweet’ but I LOVE LOVE Rain Paris’s. Same for Billie Eilish’s ‘lovely’ (I like Lauren Babic and Seraphim’s). I also just have an aversion to popular/trending music. There are a handful of popular artists that I tolerate, but that’s really it. Actually, a lot of my favourite songs came from old AMVs I watched when I was younger ;-;

3. Noel listens to a lot of stuff but mainly alt-rock ,garage house, and R&B. On occasion he also listens to classical music, because that's what he listened to when he was at the hospital as a child.

Kuuya listens to recordings of your voice/ breathing he secretly took. Other than that, he likes shoegaze and grunge. He used to own a guitar from his highschool days, when he was almost in a band. It's long been sold though. Also, his guilty pleasure is 80s j-pop.

I truly believe Will Wood is an incredible musician and songwriter and is one of the top lyricists in the last decade both in and outside of the genres that he chooses to play in with absolutely zero irony. But, uhh, lately I've been super obsessed with "Slipping through my fingers" by ABBA and it reminds me SO much of this AU, specifically of Sans, and it makes me sad

realizing i don't need to have smart shit to say about music is so freeing. i can just like all the music i like and i don't have to try to explain why it's good. it just sounds good to me. my level of eloquence or technical knowledge on the subject doesn't matter because music is for everyone and not just people who can go on for hours about the composition of a specific piece. i don't know what a 13/8 time signature is dude. it just sounds good

I have mad respect for tgwdlm- which started the hatchetfield saga with a third of the budget as npmd (and ~1/5 of black fridays), the smallest cast and crew, the shortest run time (while also having to dump lore for their other shows), and if im not mistaken their first in LA- and they pulled it off. We saw four chairs, a handful of props taped to the back, and endless costume changes, and that was enough for us because the story was so funny and so heart warming and so existential at the same time, not to mention so well performed!

And mad respect to nick lang who took a risk casting a complete stranger to the starkid fandom as the lead of this show (which again was meant to kickstart a series so, like, no pressure man) and of course, praise to jon matteson for killing it.

And even though i genuinely believe npmd is their best production to date, tgwdlm is still my favorite they’ve ever made ❤️
