Hello! How are you? Can I lose for a reader with chronic leg pain? After an accident they chose not to amputate their leg and they feel very strong pain and were recommended by doctors to use marijuana and the reader kind of doesn't tell Jason? 🌸🌸🌸🌸
You smoke?
Jason Todd x Reader
wc: 0.6 K summary: Jason finds you smoking weed for medical purposes warnings: use of weeds, fluff, mentions of chronic pain a/n: I'm good, thank you!!! I won't put any pretty pictures in here because I'm afraid of it getting taken down😭😭😭but the divider is really pretty (here): @animatedglittergraphics-n-more, also sorry this came out so short, enjoy!!
After moving in with Jason, you didn‘t think of telling him about the weed. It was necessary, so you feel sure that he won‘t mind if you get to tell him one day. As usual, you build a joint on a peaceful evening, and settle yourself on the balcony. You watch as the busy streets of Gotham fill with hundreds of cars, passing by under your balcony and create a rather relaxing atmosphere. Finally, you take a drag and exhale slowly, waiting for the drug to work.
The first drag feels like a relief, feeling light tingles across your body for a moment before you relax into the chair. You take the moment to calm down and close your eyes, to forget about everything around you. The rough back pain that was lingering on you, slowly fades into the background, finally starting to enjoy the light breeze around you.
It works, after a few more drags, however you jump up at the big figure beside you, not having noticed it before. You act on instinct and throw the lit joint at it, seeing how it falls to the floor after hitting its chest.
Jason keeps his eyes on you behind his mask, staying as still as possible. He doesn‘t know how to react, thousands of thoughts racing through his mind, many of them being possible worst case scenarios.
Before he could think of something to say, you exhale and speak up, realising who it is.
»Jesus, don‘t scare me like that… I was just taking some drags, no need to give me a bad trip.« You mumble out and get off the chair with a low groan, suddenly not as relaxed as before. Jason keeps standing in front of you, finally gathering his thoughts.
»Since when… why do you smoke that?«
You pay attention to him, realising you still haven‘t told him about it. Sure, he knows all about your chronic back pain and how it came to that, but he doesn‘t seem to connect the dots.
So, you try to explain as best as you can, while being high.
»I, uh… you know, my back? The pain? I have to… to smoke because of that. Doctor told me, I have two doctors, one to give advice for the best weed and the other—«
»The best weed? What, is he a drug dealer or something?« Jason interrupts, gently guiding you back inside with his hand on your lower back.
His retort made you chuckle, resulting into a brief giggle-fit before being serious again.
»No… maybe. I don‘t know, but it works. Really, I‘m not joking, I tried to tell you before, but… never came to that.« You shrug and slowly sit down on the couch. He follows suit.
»And how long have you been doing this? How many times a week?«
You think briefly before answering him, easing his nerves at the same time.
»Only when the pain becomes unbereable, like now. So… probably, like, about every three months. Once, I mean.« He nods in thought and sighs out in relief, finally taking his mask off after hearing your reply. Jason was genuinenly afraid this was something you struggled with and was a serious problem he somehow didn‘t take notice of before.
Seems like there‘s nothing to worry about after all. He carries you to bed and gets out of his suit before joining you in bed and caressing his hands over your back soothingly. You end up falling asleep in no time, curled up against his chest and dreaming about whatever your high brain comes up with.
a/n: i think he would be really scared when he catches you smoking, but he is an understanding man, so there's nothing much to worry about. maybe he'll try to sneak in 'healthier' methods whenever you're in pain

*throws up hands*
*leaves the room*
Why is Marvel making it so hard to like them these days. Money over story, and they shot themselves in the foot.
This only adds to my belief that CA:CW was the beginning of their downfall.
Fucking sad we could have had story telling that actually made sense for the characters instead of the bottom line. In the long run, it would have paid off.
Look at the original run of Gane of Thrones. If they hadn't rushed through the story, it would have gone down as one of the greatest shows. Instead it's a joke now with even some of the cast regretting it.
Please. Marvel. Do better, you had it all right there and you fucked it. Now look at you scrambling.
Even What If was affected, completely missing the point of the What If comics.
I still think about her; she who could’ve been the best thing to happen to the MCU and to Steve Roger’s story
Instead I got another Tony Stark film cause they wanted to make money
#bucky barnes#steve rogers#marvel#marvel is broken#don't start crying if James Gunn dominates with DC#only solid story arch was GOTG#I have a feeling the moment he gives me Jason Todd I'm jumping off the Marvel ship#though Bucky Barnes forver#captain america#captain america civil war#The Russo brothers did so good with CA:WS#wtf happened after that#look what they did

☕💖 Can I Get Your Number? ☕💖 Ch 9
Jason Todd x (f)Chubby!Reader
written with a female reader in mind, first person pov, no use of Y/N, will probably get NSFW later, let me know if there's anything else I should tag this with!
warnings: some slightly confrontational conversations wc: 1.7k
Chapter Selection
Ding!
I groaned softly, looking over at my phone. 2 unread messages; Jason's daily ‘good morning 😌’ had just come in, but there was also one from Damian. I clicked on Damian's name, blinking groggily, and rubbed the sleep out of my eyes. There was no text, just an attachment; a photo of a page from his sketchbook where he'd drawn a portrait of himself and his friend Jon.
I smiled softly, examining his drawing. It took my sleep-addled mind a moment to realize that what I originally took as a swirly background design was in fact writing. ‘Nice line work! But I'd like to see you branch out a bit’.
Damian: Attachment 4:03am Me: You're a very talented artist! … But, did your teacher write on your work??? 🤨 8:30am Damian: He did. 8:40am Me: … Wtf?????????? That's not cool! 8:41am Damian: It's just a sketchbook … I was considering giving it to Jon, but I can always remake it. The perspective is a bit off anyway. 8:45am Me: …. Oh. Hell. No. 8:46am
I jumped up, calling Jason, and got dressed. Jay answered after the third ring.
“You’re up very early, did I wake you?” He sounded a bit sleepy, and I could picture the little smile on his face.
“Yes, but that's not important right now. Do you know which school Damian goes to?”
“Um … yeah? Why?”
“... I promised him anything he talked to me about would stay between us. But I do need to go to his school. Do you think you can take me there?”
“... I guess? … Just … promise me that everything’s ok?”
“Everything’s fine, I just need to get there.”
“Alright, give me fifteen minutes. I'll be on my bike; wear long pants and closed toed shoes - boots if you've got ’em. … And maybe we can get breakfast after?”
I giggled and nodded; “sounds perfect! You're amazing, Jay!”
He stuttered a bit, mumbling a shy; “I … not really … I … I'll see you soon…” before he hung up.
Damian: What? 8:55am Me: That's just really not ok! What's your teacher's name? 8:56am
I threw on jeans and ran downstairs as Jay arrived on his bike. He held out a helmet for me, smiling softly. “Hey Doll~ … anything you can tell me about why we're going to the school?”
“... Not really. I just need to talk to one of Damian's teachers.”
Jason nodded, opening the bag on the side of his bike and offering me a red leather jacket. “Alright, well, this isn't how I had planned to give you this, but … anyway, here, put this on.”
I blinked a bit, taking it. “... Thank you? … It's really not that cold though…” I put it on anyway, figuring he wouldn't take no for an answer. It fit me perfectly, and had a soft lining on the inside. In the pocket I found a pair of black leather gloves, which I slid on as well.
“It's not for the cold - it's to protect you. If you're gonna be my backpack, you're gonna have proper layers on, in case we get in an accident. … Not that I think we will, I'm an excellent driver, but still. I'm not risking it. Not with you…”
I could feel my heart filling with warmth as I realized why he'd brought the bike today. This wasn’t just a riding jacket, it was my riding jacket. The helmet he gave me was my helmet. He'd gotten these things so we could go riding together... “Ohh, ok~ … What do you mean your backpack?”
He gestured to the seat behind him. “When you’ve got a cute girl riding with you they're called your backpack.”
I giggled softly, climbing on, and wrapped my arms around his waist, just like Red Hood had shown me all those months ago. “I see. Arms here, right?”
He nodded, gently stroking the back of my hand. “Perfect. There's a bluetooth headset in our helmets, so if you need anything just tell me.”
I nodded, leaning against his back, and we took off. Jason was so warm in my arms, and I'd never held him like this before. We'd hugged of course, and cuddled a bit, but this felt different somehow. Maybe because my hands were usually on his back, not his chest or stomach. I quickly started having to consciously remind myself not to fondle his abs, no matter how incredible they felt through his shirt…
All too quickly, we came to a stop in front of a private school. Once our helmets were off, I kissed his cheek. “I'll be right back!”
He blushed a bit and nodded, taking my helmet. “Just don't get kicked out.”
Ding!
Damian: What are you doing? 9:15am Damian: … It's Mr. Jackson. 9:16am Damian: Why aren't you responding??? 9:45am Me: Sorry, was on Jason's bike. Don't worry about what I'm doing. … Shouldn't you be in class? 9:46am
I approached the front office, tucking my gloves into my pocket while I waited for the secretary to get off the phone. When she looked over at me I offered her a warm smile; “hi. I'm here to speak to the principal.”
“Do you have an appointment?”
“No ma'am, but I do need to speak to them.”
She raised an eyebrow and looked me over, getting up and going into the back office. An older man followed her back out and offered me his hand as he introduced himself.
“How can I help you, Miss …?”
I introduced myself. “I'm here on behalf of one of your students. It seems a Mr. Jackson was grading his students' sketches and thought it was appropriate to write his critiques directly on them.”
He blinked, an unamused expression on his face; “I see … are you the mother of a student here … young lady?”
“No, just one of their trusted adults.”
“... I see. Well, I'm afraid we cannot have non-parental figures at school during the day. You'll have to leave now. School policy, you understand.”
I smirked, observing him for a moment. He reminded me of my high school principal; an old, rude man who had no respect for those he viewed as under him. “... Oh, I see. I thought you'd rather speak with me about this matter, but it's fine. I'm sure Bruce will handle it.”
The bell rang as I turned on my heel, heading for the door. Before I got to the main entrance, I heard the man following after me; “excuse me? Young lady, are you saying you're here on behalf of-”
“What are you doing here?” I jumped slightly, turning to face Damian who had seemingly materialized behind me. I put on a pleasant smile.
“Ah, hello Damian. I'm so sorry darling; I tried to handle this matter just between us, but it seems your principal,” I turned to him, putting on my best bored and slightly disdainful expression, “what was it again? … Right, Mr. Cole. Well, Mr. Cole won't speak with me, so I suppose I'll be calling your father instead.”
The principal paled, stuttering out; “the- there's no reason to bother Mr. Wayne at work. I'm sure he's very busy. Why don't we head back into my office and we can discuss this?”
“Oh!” I pretended to be surprised; “well, if you're sure. I would hate for you to break school policy.”
He shook his head, practically pulling me along. “I insist, please.”
Damian followed us, frowning a bit; the principal looked like he was about to argue, but thought better of it. Once his door was closed and we were all seated, he cleared his throat. “Now, … what seems to be the problem with Mr. Johnson?”
“Jackson. The art teacher.” I frowned a bit, sitting back a little. I turned to Damian, smiling gently; “would you like to tell him, Damian, or …?”
He shook his head once, a guarded expression on his face, and I nodded before turning back to the principal. “Mr. Jackson wrote a critique on one of Damian's pieces, and-”
“Art teachers have to critique the students, Miss. I'm sure it wasn't meant to be harsh, but-”
I held my hand up, hoping my expression was as stern as I wanted it to be; “The issue, sir, is not the fact of the critique. The issue is that he wrote it on the piece. Writing on top of any artist's work is just wrong, even, perhaps most especially, when those artists are your students. Your students work hard on their art, and what they do with it after submitting it for their assignment is their business. But they cannot do anything with their art after class if your teachers are writing on their work.”
The man shrunk in his seat as I spoke, looking between me and Damian. “... I … I see. Yes, that is … not ideal. Of course. … I will speak with Mr. Jackson.”
I nodded. “I'm glad to hear that. Well, I think that was everything. For now. Unless Damian would like to add anything?”
The boy shook his head again, getting up, and we left the principal in his office. Damian walked me to the main entrance and out the door before he spoke again; “... You didn't have to do that…”
“Of course I did. What your teacher did broke all the rules of common courtesy. And if he's doing it to you, he's doing it to the others too.”
Jason raised an eyebrow as we approached, nodding to Damian. “He's not coming with, right? I can't take both of you.”
Damian rolled his eyes. “It's not even lunch yet, Todd.” He looked up at me, a curious expression in his eyes; “... You hold your own admirably.”
I chuckled softly. “Well thank you. Let me know if there's any fallout, I'm happy to do an encore performance if they try anything. And I hope you'll send me a picture of the completed piece, when you remake it. It was beautiful.”
His lips curled up ever so slightly and he nodded before heading back into the building. Jason stared at us, offering me my helmet. “... Did he just smile?”
“Yes, the boy knows how to smile, Jay.” I chuckled, pressing a kiss to the side of his helmet above his cheek before slipping my helmet on. Once my gloves were on and I was in my seat, I wrapped my arms around his waist. “So, how about that breakfast?”

Hole-In-One
Jason Todd x fem!reader
Warnings: language?
A/N: omg I have not posted anything in so long. this is unedited and kinda trash, but i wanted to get back into the groove of things. inspired by my recent catastrophe of a date, but i decided not to be cruel to Jason and y/n, so they have a nice time. thanks for reading!
~~
I do not give permission to copy, repost, or use my work in any way.
~~
Jason's hand are sweaty. He tries his best to ignore it, tries to look anywhere but the swell of your ass as you bend down to place your ball on the starting tee. But that's a difficult task when your legs seem to go on for miles in those shorts, and you smile over your shoulder at him. With a rough sigh he scrubs his hands down his jeans, glancing around the cramped course. The animals are all sun faded, paint chipped away from years of weather. There's a ring of trash around the chain fence circling the course, and the green felt is stained and worn thin, but you picked the place, and he wasn't one to tell you no.
"Okay, you've played mini golf before, right?"
"Huh?"
Jason heard you loud and clear, watched your lips form the words, and he's wondering whay they taste like. He's really not sure why he's asked you to repeat yourself, except for maybe to hear more of your voice. You laugh, and it's nice; a soft, throaty sound. He'll gladly play the fool if it keeps you laughing.
"You've played before?"
"Oh, yeah. Tim dragged me along with some of his friends once."
You nod, the breeze catching your hair. He wonders what it would feel like tangled between his fingers. Is it as soft as it looks? Would you let him get that far?
"And you actually played?"
"Yeah. I won."
Your brow quirks up, and he likes the glint of a challenge in your eyes. They're even prettier in the sunlight than he's used to and that's not helping him. "Oh really?"
He puffs his chest out dramatically, drawing your attention to the well defined muscles of his chest. As though there was any way you were unaware of just how perfect he really is, but he follows the your eyes as they blaze a trail across his chest, down his abs, and back up. your cheeks tinting a nice pink when you realize you're caught. He can't help the smirk tugging as his lips, but he lets it go.
"Yep, I'm somewhat of a precision expert."
You make a sound in the back of your throat, and he's pretty damn certain you picked that habit of from Bruce, but he doesn't call attention to that either.
"Well I haven't lost a game of mini golf in three years, and I won't be going down easily today, Mr. Precision Expert."
And he likes that too; likes when you mouth off, likes that tingly warmth gathing in his gut, likes that flush that still hasn't quite faded from your cheeks. He decides right then and there to throw the game. No one has to know, and no one will. Besides, he thinks, it's more than worth it.
~
Turns out he doesn't have to do much to throw the game, because you're better than you gave yourself credit for. You scowl everytime he makes a hole in one, and he tries not to laugh, but even those perfect shots aren't enough to recover from the whole that took him sixteen tries.
At the last hole, it takes him two tries and he flashes you a grin. He watches as you tee up, and both your eyes follow the ball down the green, where it stops. An inch away from the hole.
"Oh you motherf-"
You stop yourself, eyes wide as you turn to him, with a giggle.
"No no, don't stop on my account. Maybe if you keep yelling at it it'll jump in."
And Jason likes when you roll your eyes. Wonders what else he can do to make that happen as he follows you back to the counter to return your clubs, his eyes wandering up the long path of your legs, and over your ass.
He respects you, he really does, but god, look at you. He can't ignore that.
The sun has blazed a slow path across the sky, finally dipping behind the gotham skyline, and he thinks he you've never looked more beautiful than in this moment, skin painted in pink and orange hues. You step to your car, and he follows, shoving his hands in his pockets, dark locks falling across his forehead.
"This was really nice, Jay. Thanks for inviting me."
You smile up at him, and his heart stutters in his chest. For just a minute he's worried he'll need to be dumped in the pit again, because there's not way what's going on behind his ribcage is normal.
"Yeah, it was. He should do it again."
He's going for chill, but that goes to pot the moment your smile widens. You go in for a hug, and who is he to deny you? His arms wrap around your shoulders as yours circle his waist, and he breathes deep, enjoying your perfume that's been teasing him all evening.
He has no doubt you can hear and feel the insane tempo of his heart what with your ear pressed against his chest and all. But he can feels yours too, and it isn't much better. That brings about an odd sort of satisfaction, and he's swallowing his nerves as his hands shake just slightly against the expanse of your back.
"Would it be very wrong of me to ask for a kiss on the first date?" he rumbles in your ear.
He likes how small you feel in his arms; likes the shiver that works its way up your spine. Likes it even more when you look up at him through your lashes.
"Honestly, I've kinda been counting the fact you take your lunch break with me every day as dates..."
He lets that sink in. He's pretty sure his brain just broke a little bit, and he doesn't bother trying to get out any words. Instead, he settles for tasting those lips he's been thinking so much about. And shit, you taste even better than he imagined.
He swallows your surprised gasp, and before either of you really know what's happening, he's got you backed against your car, his leg slotting between yours. Your fingers curl into the thick hair at the nape of his neck and tug gently, just enough to elicit a reaction. And when he nips at your bottom lip in response, you're officially putty in his arms.
You let out a soft moan, and Jason starts to worry this may not be enough, but he's resolved to not ask for more. He's better than that, but then you're reading his mind as you pull away, needing air.
"Would it be very wrong of me to invite you to stay the night on the first date?"
He kisses the corner of your mouth, your jaw, that soft spot just behind your ear, your jaw.
"Nah. According to you it's at least our third date, so I think it's okay."
You hide your face in his chest, but he can feel your smile.
"C'mon, give me your keys. I'll drive."

Could you give me any Batman comic(/series) recommendations? Or Joker ones?
(You can pretend I’ve never read any Batman comics)
Man, this got me thinking about (1) the number of extended storylines I still haven't fully read myself and (2) of the ones I have, would I recommend that people read them?? Tough question! Thinking about it in terms of a Batman newbie changes things too... 🤔
Ultimately, my list is mostly one-offs apart from the mainline series, but there's a few multi-issue mainline stories in there. From oldest to newest:
Batman (1940) #1, "The Joker" and "The Joker Returns" — Early comics can feel inaccessible because of their age, but I would still recommend checking out the start of Batman and Joker's relationship for a sense of the longevity and evolution of these characters (You could also read Batman's first appearance in Detective Comics [1937] #27.)
Batman (1940) #251, "The Joker's Five-Way Revenge" — Jumping ahead thirty years! After a 4-year absence from comics, Joker returns, and I just love how his dynamic with Batman picks up where they left off like it was yesterday.
Detective Comics (1937) #475, "The Laughing Fish" — The infamous story in which Joker's mad scheme is to… copyright fish.
The Dark Knight Returns #1-4 — TBH, I'm not a fan of TDKR for various reasons. However, it had a huge influence on Batman and you should read it at least once.
Batman (1940) #404-407, "Batman: Year One" — More required reading (but I do enjoy it more than TDKR). Frank Miller's problematique is more acknowledged today, but as I said, modern Batman stems from his work.
The Killing Joke — Controversial-ish recommendation nowadays, considering the much-maligned choice to fridge Barbara Gordon, but I still enjoy the nuance it gives Joker and the meta element of the ending, with Bruce and Joker trapped in their cycle by choices that are informed by the needs of the franchise. Alan Moore may no longer care for it, but I do! (Also, I'd say read it with the original coloring.)
Batman (1940) #426-429, "A Death in the Family" — Another big event in Batman lore: the death of Jason Todd. It's one of those moments that gets flattened in various ways today, so I think it's important to see how everything actually played out. In particular, it's striking to see that Joker is initially nervous about Batman finding out what he did, and just how Bruce struggles with his no-kill principle.
Batman #450-451, "Wildcard!" and "Judgements!" — Joker's big return after Jason's murder, in which we see he's still not all that giddy about it.
Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight #65-68, "Going Sane" — This story takes place earlier in Batman's career, before Robin. When Joker seemingly kills Batman, he tries to start a new life without his instability breaking through. Meanwhile, Bruce recovers from his near-death in a little town in the middle of nowhere and thinks he might actually stay there… but he's plagued by restlessness too.
Joker: Devil's Advocate — Joker winds up on death row, but for a crime he didn't commit! Bruce is set on proving Joker's innocence despite the clown's other sins, and Joker is too captivated by all the media attention to help save his own hide.
Deathstroke (1991) #58, "Bad Blood" — A story in which Joker causes plenty of chaos, but in service of doing something… nice?
Batman: Ego — As Bruce contemplates giving up his crusade, he falls into an argument with… Batman.
Batman (1940) #648-650, "All They Do Is Watch Us Kill" — Part of Under the Red Hood. Jason Todd's reappearance in Gotham City comes to a head when he kidnaps Joker and draws Batman in for a dire confrontation.
Detective Comics (1937) #826, "Slayride" — Paul Dini is one of the writers who consistently remembers Joker has a personality and makes him funny, and this Christmas-time story featuring Tim Drake is a great example.
Batman Confidential #7-12, "Lovers and Madmen" — An alternative origin for Joker. Bruce has been fighting crime for about a year when he encounters a bloody crime scene that he can't make sense of. Meanwhile, the culprit, Jack, is growing bored with his criminal life, until he comes face to face with a vigilante bat.
Batman 80-Page Giant 2010 (Volume 2), "Reality Check" — Is Joker really crazy? Does Joker himself even know?
Batman (2011) #13-17, "Death of the Family" — Not to be confused with "A Death in the Family." Joker tries to convince Batman that all his sidekicks make him weak.
Batman (2011) #23.1, "Time to Monkey Shine" — Joker infamously adopts a gorilla. (It ends badly.)
Batman (2011) #35-40, "Endgame" — After Joker's failure in DOTF, he decides to bring his conflict with Batman to a close.
The Joker Presents: A Puzzlebox #1-7 — The Riddler is dead, but what really happened? A heist story in which the point of view is passed around multiple rogues, but Joker is the ringleader.
Catwoman: Lonely City #1-4 — Alright, this one does revolve around Selina, but the story is deeply tied to her relationship with Bruce and what she comes to understand about him in the end. (And Joker plays a brief but key part!)
Batman & The Joker: The Deadly Duo #1-7 — A recent team-up that calls back to everything I've personally enjoyed about Batman and Joker's dynamic.
Batman: City of Madness #1-3 — Beneath Gotham lies Gotham Below, from which a monstrous mirror of Batman escapes in search of a Robin. In his pursuit, Bruce confronts not only alternative versions of his rogues but his personal demons.

just Jason being shocked that his girlfriend (Brazilian reader again maybe?) has never seen snow. And he's all excited and wanting to show her the moment he notices that it's snowing (And I'm sure he'll want her to try some hot chocolate to show her some winter/Christmas spirit)
Sorry I'm just posting this now 😭 I was so busy during Christmas week. But I hope you like it!!
First time seeing snow
Headcanon | Jason Todd x Brazilian!Reader
warnings: cuteness and fluff. reader excited about the snow.
notes: I've never seen snow either, so I'm sorry if it seems too stereotypical 😭
•It was morning, you were waking up little by little with the light entering the room.
•You smiled when you felt Jason's big, strong arms around your waist. His warm breath on your neck, his warm chest on your back and his legs entwined with yours.
•When you fully opened your eyes and woke up, you looked at the window that Jason forgot to close the curtains before going to sleep.
•You lifted your head and looked out the window. it was snowing!
•Being careful not to wake Jason, you get out of his arms and run to the window.
•His eyes lit up when he saw the snowflakes falling quickly to the ground.
•For someone who grew up in a totally tropical country, snow seemed magical.
•You didn't even realize it, but you had been at the window for a long time.
•Watching the snow take over the street, the roofs of houses and buildings, the cars. Everything.
•You jumped in surprise when you felt arms around your waist.
"Shh. It's just me." the voice hoarse from lack of use during the night said sweetly in your ear.
"Enjoying the snow, huh? You could have asked me to stay with you." He kissed your neck and looked at the window with you.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you." you whispered while still paying attention to the snow. "It's so beautiful..."
"It's just snow, babe." Jason gave a small laugh.
"It's the first time I've seen snow." Jason's smile disappears
"Really?" He looks at your face
"Yep." You nod
•Jason felt a little guilty for laughing at your admiration for the snow.
•Why not take you to feel the snow as a reward?
"Wanna go there?" He asked softy to you
"You kidding? Yes!" You turned to him smiling.
•You wanted to go the way you were dressed.
•A Jason hoodie that looked like a dress on you and just panties underneath.
•Jason would never let you leave like this.
•Then he picked up the sweaters Alfred gave you and him as gifts.
•He helped you dress appropriately.
•Pants with a triple layer to protect against the cold, a sweatshirt and a sweater on top, a cap for the head, a scarf, gloves on hands and ear protectors.
•You looked totally adorable.
•Jason wasn't that different from you. he just didn't have his ear protectors on.
•When leaving the door of the house, you smiled and ran.
•Good thing Jason was there.
•You slipped on Jason picked you up in his arms.
"Easy, little girl." You smiled at him and stood up straight.
"Sorry... I didn't think it would be this slippery" Jason laughed at you and helped you into the soft part of the snow.
•It was so cold.
•You took some of the snow in your hands and looked closely at it.
•The snowflakes were so beautiful
•Jason smiled as he watched you.
•So cute, so focused.
•Some children also came out to play and that took Jason's attention away from you.
•Jason gasped as he felt a bump on his face.
•Snowball.
•He took his eyes off you for a second and you attacked him
•He looked at you and narrowed his eyes.
•There you were.
•Smiling and making another snowball in your hands.
"Cruel little thing..." When Jason spoke you threw the other ball that hit his chest.
He ran towards you and the two of you fell into the soft, icy snow.
"Fuck! This is fucking cold!” You said while laughing at the tickle Jason was giving you.
•You spent a few more in the snow.
•When your nose turned red, Jason knew it was time to go inside.
•As soon as you both entered, Jason ran a hot bath for you.
"Won't you come in with me?" you asked him while you were playing with the bubbles in the bathtub.
"No, princess." he kissed her forehead "Your clothes are on the bed, I'm waiting for you in the kitchen"
•You relaxed in the bathtub and Jason went to the kitchen.
•Jason baked the cookies Alfred taught him and made you a classic hot chocolate with mashmellow and cinnamon.
•After getting out of the shower, you put on the cute and comfortable clothes that Jason chose for you and went downstairs smelling delicious.
•The house was completely decorated for Christmas.
•You feel like you were in one of those movies you watched as a child when they were shown on open TV.
•You entered the kitchen and saw a beautiful sight. A table set with cookies and two cups of hot chocolate.
•Jason walked towards you and gave you a sweet kiss on the lips.
"Wanna eat?" He looks in your eyes
"Im starving." You nod with a smile
•You ate the cookies and drank the hot chocolate.
•After you two finished eating he took out a box and handed it to you.
•It was a cookie house to assemble.
•You were very happy about it.
•The rest of the day was like this.
•Setting up the cookie house and drinking hot chocolate.
•And of course.
•Making snowmen.
•The Christmas feeling made you smile

what are gym buddies up to? more late night showers in the gym together?
Great question! Let's check in on them shall we.
Warnings for swearing(obvs) some hand stuff and my early morning brain not working.
"Wow, look at you go," Jason cheers as you take off infront of him, "almost as fast as I am," he runs to catch upto you, "But you'll never best me. I'm way too fast."
"Yeah and your legs are twice the size of mine," you joke as you stop by a water fountain to take a drink, "that makes no difference at all, right?"
"Correct," Jason's stands behind you his eyes drinking in your ass in those tight af leggings while your bent over, "Heaps of people that are smaller than me are faster," he shrugs, "you just aren't one of them."
"Fuck off," you splash him, "name one."
"Tim," he starts counting on his fingers, "Cassie, Dami, Grayson, shit even Alfred could outrun you, I reckon."
"Is that what you think?" You glare at him, "that your honest opinion?"
"You know it." He smiles, "you could never catch me."
"Then you better start running Todd."
"And, why is that?"
"Because when I catch you I'm going to fucking murder you."
Jason spins on his heels, taking off into the park, "good luck, slow poke." He yells, heading down the path, his curls flowing out behind him as he runs.
"Asshat." You mutter, giving him a moments head start as you stretch out your legs. He zips around a corner and you're off. Your legs pumping hard, your eyes watching his pretty ass giggle while you chase him through the nest of trees.
"See I'm too fast." He calls back to you, moving quicker and putting more distance between you.
He's staying on the path, so you run to your left, trying to funnell him into the garden that's at the end. Picking up the pace you're almost upon him, he's too focused on forward that he doesn't notice you creeping up behind him. That you've almost got him.
You jump, tackling him to the ground as he trips and falls into the hedge that outlines the tiny garden.
"Oh no," he says sarcastically, "you caught me," his hands wrap around your middle, pulling you on for a kiss, "how awful," he kisses you again, his hand slipping down to cup your ass, "whatever shall I do?"
"Say that I'm fast," you puh as his chest, "that I'm faster than Tim."
"But that would be a lie," his hand dips from your ass to between your legs, "and I would never lie."
You roll your eyes, your hips with a mind of their own already grinding down onto his palm, "what will it take- ah - what will it take?"
"Go on a real date with me."
"Is this not a date?" You ask panting as he works his hand his thick palm digging into your clit.
"No," he starts to kiss down your sweaty neck, his teeth nipping at your pulse point, "I wanna take you out and show you off."
"Show me off?" Your chest presses into his as his hand move faster.
"I want everyone to see me with the prettiest little bitch in gotham."
"I -" he moves his hand away and you whine at the loss, you're so close.
"Agree, it doesn't have to be big, like a gala or nothing," he starts to litter kisses on your cheeks, "just let me come to a game and take you out after."
"And if I don't?" You wonder, he's never shown any interest in wanting to see you play before, you start to wonder what's changed. Why now?
"Then you don't get to cum any more." He cuts off your thoughts, his hand cupping your aching pussy.
"Fine." You give in with a huff, "one game and dinner after," you start to squirm as a stick digs into your ass, "but you better fuck me so good after, that I can't play for a week."
"Good girl," his hand starts to move, his fingers pressing your leggings up into your core. His palm grinding down on your clit, while his teeth nip at your neck, "now be a good girl and cum in this bush for me."
"Jason," you reach up to his shoulder, gripping it so tight to keep yourself still, "feels- ouch!" You pull the stick away thats been poking at you, laughing as you throw it back into the park.
"So that's it." He smiles down on you, an evil look simmering in his eyes.
"What?" You reply, trying not to sound deflated as your orgasm slips further and further away.
"I ask you out and you finally got the stick out of your ass about it."
"Oh," you raise your eye brows at him, "oh, really," you sit up on your elbows as Jason slowly starts to back away, "is that it, is it?"
"Babe, it was a joke," he slips onto his knees, his eyes not moving from your face as you smirk at him.
"You better run Todd and this time, hope I don't fucking catch you."

Chapter Thirty-Two: Something Terrible
As Jason and Dick grew closer in the following weeks, he secretly resented Jim and Barbara for not coming back for him as promised. He assumed they'd just moved on, so he did too. Jason had even built a persona for himself and started to go on missions in the city under Dick's supervision. Dick allowed Jason to go on missions because he thought it'd be a distraction, and he'd hoped that it would keep him from butting heads with Jason in the meantime.
Jason had taken up the name of Albatross in the field, and while Dick thought things were going well, the other Titans worried that Jason was struggling. It wasn't until the first night of June that Dick realized that there was something very wrong.
Dick took Jason out that night to patrol, and Jason was much quieter than usual. "See something?" Dick asked. Jason shook his head. "What is it?"
"Nothing," Jason snapped.
Dick grew silent for a moment before asking, "I was thinking of taking you home to visit next week—."
"I'll meet you back here in an hour," Jason replied as he jumped off the roof and disappeared into the night. Dick pinched the bridge of his nose and went the other way. Dick returned in an hour. Dick started to worry when Jason didn't come back. He sat on the rooftop, watching and waiting for another hour before going to look for him. "Turn your comms on. Turn your comms on..."
"You lost him?" Donna asked.
"No, I didn't lose him... I just don't know where he is," Dick whispered.
"Did you tell him?" Donna asked.
"I didn't get the chance to. He's—. Can you track him?" Dick asked.
"It says he's at home... Hold on," Donna whispered, and Dick sat on the ledge of a building waiting for her to get back to him. "Jason, are you in there?" Donna asked. "If you are, I'm coming in."
"No!" Jason's voice yelled. Dick let out a breath and started on his way home.
When Dick got there, he went straight into Jason's room to find Jason struggling to give himself stitches. Dick shut the door and cursed. "Get out," Jason mumbled. Dick sighed and shook his head. He walked past Jason and washed his hands in Jason's bathroom before coming back and stitching Jason up.
"What the hell happened?" Dick asked.
"I don't want to tell you," Jason replied.
"You don't have a choice. What happened?" Dick asked.
"I did something terrible tonight. I—."
"Please tell me you didn't kill anyone," Dick interrupted. Jason winced as Dick pushed the needle through his flesh.
"No, I didn't kill anyone. I almost did, but I don't feel bad. Those guys were hurting her—."
"Who? What? Jason, you gotta be clear," Dick replied.
"I heard screaming in a warehouse by the docks. I went in. When I saw what was going on, I knocked out the lights and hurt as many men as I—. I didn't know I'd gotten stabbed until I got out of there—."
"Jason, you should've called me. You could've gotten yourself killed—."
"I—."
Dick made a soft noise. "I'm so mad at you right now. It's just best that you don't say anything else. Jason, I can't—. Who hit you in the head?" Dick asked as he looked Jason over. "What the hell is wrong with you?"
"You're gonna bench me?" Jason asked.
Dick stopped stitching him up just to give him a look of complete bewilderment. "Is that what you're worried about? Jason, you could've been killed tonight," Dick replied, "Please stop and think about that... Let that sink in."
"The woman was okay," Jason whispered, "That's all that matters. She got out."
"Jason, please don't say anything else... You're going home tomorrow—."
"I am home," Jason interrupted, "They don't want me anymore."
"That's not true. Jim called and asked me to take you back to Gotham. Jason, I need you to be reasonable—."
"They don't want me! No one wants me!" Jason screamed, and silence fell between the both of them. Dick finished up on Jason's stitches and bandaged him up.
"I know that's not true," Dick whispered as he took the first aid kit and started cleaning up the gash in Jason's forehead. Jason thought of how Jim did that for him when he'd gotten into the fight at the library and how he was sure Jim would blame him. He didn't. Jason swatted Dick's hand away. "Jason—."
"You want me gone too, don't you? You can't deal with me, so you're making them take me back—."
"Do you think I want to send you back like this? Jason, I wish I had time to help you. I care so much about you—."
"Then why would you send me back there?" Jason raised his voice.
"Do you think I want to?" Dick yelled with tears in his eyes. "I don't want to send you back like this. I don't want to send you back at all, and not because I think they're bad people-. They're not. They love you, and that is the only reason why I'm giving you up. But, in all ways but legally, you are still my little brother, and I still want nothing but the best for you."
"Then let me stay," Jason begged. Dick frowned and went back to bandaging him up.
"I can't take care of you... I can't help you, Jason. I can't," Dick whispered, "I want to, but all I've done is make things worse. I think you wanna go home deep down, too. What about Reese—?"
"He probably moved on. Everyone does. Everyone moves on, and they leave, and now you're leaving me too," Jason started to cry. Dick frowned.
"I'm not leaving you. I would never do that," Dick replied, "Look at me. I'm mad at you right now, and you're probably pissed at me too... But I don't think that's gonna make me miss you less when you're back in Gotham." Jason didn't say anything else. Dick sighed and looked Jason over and checked him for signs of concussion. "Jason... I know that this has been tough and that everyone is making a bunch of decisions that you don't really understand, but I hope you know that if we all could, none of us would ever leave you."
Jason sniffed and put his shirt on, and he climbed into bed. Dick stood by the door and took a deep breath. "You'll always have a spot on the Titans," Dick whispered before he turned Jason's light out and he left the room.
Jason lay on his side, his head pounded and his body ached as he struggled to get comfortable. He eventually shut his eyes and drifted off to sleep.

Stop! Look at me
Call it off
Fire
Burning
Screams
His sins tormenting him
.
Damian almost jumped out of bed, looking around with fear. Sighing as no detection of enemies was around.
Getting up and leaving to the Library to see Jason and Stephanie, sorta an odd pair. Stephanie' eyes lit up as she spotted Damian "Hey! Come join us Little D, we were just talking about heading to Batburger and catching a movie" "Why?" Stephanie shrugged "Cause it's fun"
"I see..."
"Wanna come with?"
"I respectfully decline your offer"
Jason decided to speak "Damian. Did you... have a nightmare?"
Damian raised an eyebrow, how did he know? What gave it away? "I don't know what you're talking about Todd" "You're hands are shaking" Damian looked at his hands to see that they were indeed shaking, he crossed his arms in an attempt to stop. "I'm fine, just a slight tremor" Stephanie sounded understanding as she spoke "What's on your mind?"
"...what happened to you when you died?"
They grew silent and Damian looked down, he said too much he shouldn't have asked. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked"
"No it's fine, from someone who died like us, it's okay if you're curious" Stephanie smiled and Jason nodded as Damian sat down by them. Stephanie put her hand to her chin thinking "Let's see, I got killed by Black Mask and I didn't fully die, just at the point of it. So I wouldn't say anything happened per se, I just woke up"
"I died by Joker, one moment I was in a warehouse, the next I woke up in the League of Assassins Pit. Any reason why you ask?"
"...nothing happened to you in between?"
Stephanie grew concerned "What do you mean?"
"Your souls... didn't go anywhere?"
"I don't think so"
Jason furrowed his eyebrows "You mean... that, don't you" Stephanie looked confused.
Damian looked down, looking at his trembling hands "I went somewhere... it was so hot and terrifying" Stephanie gasped, covering her mouth in shock "Y-You don't mean-" "I went to Hell. I believe my soul is bonded to it at this point, he exclaimed that I belong there and he'll always keep a spot open for me. Then I came back... after so much torment and punishment for my sins that never ended. I- I fucking hated it. I keep dreaming of it, being back there and right before I burn to death and being fully dragged down, I wake up" Jason already knew, as does Dick, Tim and Bruce, not Stephanie or any other sibling.
Damian doesn't know when he started to tear up, why is he even telling them this? It's not like they can help considering they've never been there. It's not like they know that every sin will always mean something and no matter how much he tries to change, it means nothing. He can fake a smile, but the fear of going back remains and it won't ever leave him.
"I- I need to go" Damian got up and moved quickly as possible, but Steph was fast and she grabbed Damian by the arm and trapped him in a hug.
Damian began to cry, it felt like such a long time... When his mother was nicer and cared for him, she may have a hint of care even now, but it will always be gone from the Lazarus Pit. Talia would hug him... so gently and careful, running her hand through his hair as she hummed. It's not her though... His sister is comforting him, his legs give out as he falls into the embrace, Steph went down with him holding Damian in the same position of love. Tears falling faster as the memories of what once was now buried with pain. This embrace was different, it was much more nicer and comfortable, sometimes Talia smelled like blood and Damian was uncomfortable with that smell when he was younger before he began to kill. Stephanie smelled like lavender and freshly baked cake coming out of the oven, somehow it made Damian feel happy.
"Brown... does your offer still stand?" "Of course"

Jealous Batboys (DC Super Hero Girls 2019)
Hello, my name is Kora kumori and I'm Brazilian, so sorry if there are any grammatical errors in the story! (This story is based on dc super hero girls 2019)
word count ; 1602
pairings ; Batboys x reader
genre ; fluffy / Smut
warnings: contains adult content.
Dick Grayson
- You two were at a party, and there were two guys around you.
- my friend, he is very jealous.
- Dick may seem the most peaceful among his brothers, but don't be fooled.
- He will grab your waist tightly in front of the intruders.
- "Excuse me boys, I don't know if you know me but my name is Dick Grayson, I'm Bruce Wayne's son" Yes, that was a threat. It's almost as if dick wants to say "I'm very powerful, so don't mess with me or my girl."
- When he introduces himself, it usually keeps the intruders away, but this time not, this time the two men were not intimidated by the name "Dick Grayson" so dick moves on to the second stage.
- Dick whispers something in your ear and then gives you a kiss, then he leaves. You were confused.
- You were uncomfortable because the two men were still on your side, blocking your exit.
- Dick comes back after about 10 minutes, you wanted to hit him for taking so long.
- "You two are expelled." Dick said to the men, they were perplexed "You and bruce wayne run the city, not us. So why would we go out?", Dick gives a stupid smile "As you said, bruce wayne and I ran the city, and I bought it this club, and you are at my club in my town, so get out or i going to be forced to call the guards. "
- You were jaw-dropping and speechless, did he just buy a club so he could kick out the guys who flirted with you? Dick was really the most amazing guy in Gotham.
Jason Todd (18+)
- Okay, for Jason blood and jealousy mix very easily.
- You were in a bar, if dick saw that jason took you to a place like this, he would protest.
- You were there because the owner of the bar was none other than Artemis, so you could drink for free.
-Sometimes you forget that Jason is a vigilante, and unfortunately for him, there was a robbery across the street, Jason said he was going to solve it quickly and that he would be back soon, he kissed you goodbye.
"In the meantime, a man much older than you approached, and he was ... flirting with you?" That was disgusting.
- Jason has a sensor to know when they are flirting with you, because he showed up just in time.
- Jason took a glass of beer and drank, he hit the glass aggressively against the table when he finished.
- "Did you miss something in my girlfriend's breasts, you idiot?" Jason gripped his waist so tightly that it was scarred the next day.
- The man looked drunk, so he replied "Is this angel your girlfriend? You teenagers are idiots, you shouldn't be dating, so she should be dating an older guy--"
- That alone was enough to free the demon that Jason calls "rage" and it was all too fast, the man didn't even speak and Jason jumped on him, they were punching each other, kicking, everything to get hurt .
- You were so used to seeing Jason involved in bar fights that you didn't even care, in fact, you even like it when he gets involved in fights, because you know what happens after he finishes fighting.
- The fight lasted about 2 minutes, and as much as they tried, nobody could get Jason off the guy, and Artemis seemed more interested in cleaning cups than separating the fight.
- "I'll be right back, doll." Jason gave you a deep, hot kiss, very hot. He was angry and had just killed a drunk in front of everyone, he was dragging the man's body to the warehouse, you knew that in a few minutes he would have nothing but bones.
- Okay, he came back, and there he is, Jason todd all bloody, did you think it was weird that it took him less than 10 minutes, "Hey, but so fast?", Jason looked angrier than before, "He only had fat . " You were going to say something else, but Jason pulled your arm so fast that you didn't have time, you knew what happened when Jason got mad, and an angry and hungry jason resulted in things ... hot.
- he pulled you into the car, and threw you hard, you could already see the bulge between his legs, "Jason, yo--", Jason was horny, and was squeezing the steering wheel of the car, "I won't be able to wait until we get to the mansion, let's do it here.", " What?! We can't do it here, if a policeman catches us we'll be in trouble... "Jason shut you up with a kiss, he was now on top of you shirtless, showing his entire collection of scars, "I said we would do this here."
Tim Drake:
Tim is almost a robot, he feels emotions only inside, but shows nothing.
- You were in a coffee shop, Tim needed to finish a job.
- You were bored with watching him typing on his laptop, the coffe shop was empty and you could only hear the sound of the keys.
- "Coffee, can you get me another S / N?" You looked at Tim confusedly "You mean Y / N can you get me a coffee?", "That's what I said. Can you get it?" You were already getting worried about Tim, he hadn't slept for 3 days, it seems that being vigilant and a student is not easy.
- Well, you got up and went to get a coffee for your sleepy boyfriend for the 4th time, Tim like the biggest coffee, so you got the biggest one, and when you were going back to the table with Tim, a man unwittingly hits you, spilling all the coffee on your clothes.
- He seemed sorry, and apologized countless times, and somehow, those apologies turned into a conversation. You were enjoying chatting with your new best friend, until he asks "Do you have a boyfriend?", You loved Tim, and of course you replied that you did, and pointed to Tim.
- your friend wanted to forget that he asked this, so when you were going to talk again, "Hey Y / N." Tim came out of nowhere, the two of you jumped out of your seats, Tim had this Bizarre gift of being too silent.
- "Hi my love, let me introduce you to ..." Before you finished, tim completed his sentence, "Edward hanscom." Tim said coldly, "Yes! How did you know? I didn't even--" Tim interrupted you again, "I know a lot of things, and we better get going, I finished my job."
- "I-I think I'm leaving, Y / N, I'll see you the other day ..." Edward was about to walk out the door, when Dick came in, he was at work now (Officer) "Mr. Hanscom?" Edward nodded, "Y-yes it's me ...", "You're under arrest" and said, dick handcuffed edward and took him to the car to make sure he wouldn't run away, after doing that dick returned to the coffee shop.
- "Tim and S / N? How nice to see you here!", Tim just muttered something, and you waved happily at Dick, "I don't want to intrude but, why did you arrest him? I talked to him a few minutes ago." , "oh he? He was caught by cameras in a super market stealing food, I'm going to take him to the police station" you were worried about it, Edward didn't look like a criminal, so why was he being arrested?
- You thought for a moment and looked into the dick car, you found Jason inside. "D-dick, are you sure you are taking Edward to the police station? ...", "Certainly. Well, it was nice to talk to you but I better get back, I have work to do, see you soon, Tim and S / N! " Then he was gone, dick is gone.
- You left the coffee shop, you were going to the Wayne Mansion now "Edward was cool, it's a shame he is a criminal, and I'm not sure if Dick will take him to the police station I hope he will be fine ...", "he will be fine." You were a little uncomfortable with what happened a few minutes ago, so you took Tim's hand, "So, what were you working on, my little bird? You've been at it for two weeks" Tim looked at you "I was trying to locate a guy.", You were curious now, "A guy? You usually work with more important things than that, my love", Tim looked at you seriously" It was very important, that guy has spent 3 times looking at the butt of a guy's girlfriend, this is disrespectful.", you rolled your eyes, Tim gave too much detail, "Okay, so what was his name?", "Edward Hanscom."
- You were in shock, he spent 2 weeks locating that guy who came to flirted to you at the Coffee shop?!, "You idiot! Dick is going to give Edward as food for Jason!" You pushed Tim lightly, he was now laughing "Dick knows how to control that beast, besides, that Edward guy looked at your ass!", "You are an idiot Tim, you sent the guy to prison!" Tim now hugged you, "Relax, i will let him go tomorrow, that was just for him to learn not to look at the ass of others' girlfriend", you were silent, until you think of something to talk about "You know Tim, you can do it be bizarre and scary at the same time, but I love y--" for the thousandth time, Tim interrupted you "I love you too.", you started laughing now" You have to stop interrupting me! This is scary you silly!"

Those Four Words Pt. 1
Summary: an escalating fight between Jason and his girlfriend leads to a tense two weeks in Wayne Manor
Pairing: Jason Todd x Reader
Word count: 2.1k
Warnings: language, mentions of sex and excessive drinking, mentions of character death
masterlist // next part
Jason Todd was in a terrible mood, having just got into an argument with Bruce. He decided to go up to his girlfriend’s studio to get away. She had been hard at work the past couple of days and he was getting needy. He came up behind her on the floor and pulled her into his lap. She tried to wiggle out of his arms. “Jay, I'm trying to do something right now.
He tried to snuggle closer to his girlfriend, “I deserve some of your time too.
“Deserve? You’re especially demanding today. What did you do?” Jason scoffed and pulled away. “What has crawled up your ass?”
“You did.”
She managed to escape and turned to look at her boyfriend, “I did? Huh, I think I would’ve remembered such a disgusting journey into your body.
“Dammit, Y/N! Enough with the sarcasm! You know what I’m saying.”
She sighed at Jason’s attitude, “I don’t understand what you’re doing right now, but you are starting a fight just for the sake of an argument. I’m sorry, but I can’t give you what you want right now.”
“I don’t want anything from you,” Jason was standing over his girlfriend, his whole body tense, “From any of you.”
“Why are you being like this? What happened?”
“What? You thought the minute we started dating all of our problems would magically disappear? Are you really that naive?”
Y/N put her brushes down and stood. She tried to walk closer, but he matched each step, moving away from her. “Jason, where the hell is this coming from? I thought we had got past this. Even you and Bruce are in a better place.”
“You think I'll ever forget you abandoned me. You all did!”
“Abandon you! What have you been smoking? We thought you died!”
“You replaced me!”
Now, Y/N was angry too and it was rare that anyone saw her this way. She was deadly calm, but the fire was roaring in her eyes, “I did not replace you.”
“That’s right, you were too busy whoring yourself around Gotham to even think about me.”
“That is not fair and you know it. I mourned you. We all mourned your arrogant ass. I never stopped missing you.”
“I saw the articles, Y/N! Don’t pretend you were mourning me. You were too busy whoring yourself around Gotham.”
Her mind went back to three years ago. Jason had died in an explosion set up by the Joker. She was sixteen and her best friend had died, and she hadn’t handled it well. What started as a way to get out of the house with friends, had led to this wild, secret life. Y/N had snuck out at night and used Bruce’s name to get into clubs. She drank anything she could get her hands on and had gone home with multiple men, trying to forget her pain. Once, Bruce had found out, her world had imploded. He sent her away and finally got her the help she should have received when her parents had passed. The only reason Y/N had moved back to the manor was that Jason had been found. She couldn’t believe that he was trying to use her moments of weakness against her, “How dare you throw that back on me. I was just trying to numb the pain. It wasn’t like I was celebrating the fact that you were gone.”
“Yeah, it really looked like you missed me.”
“God Dammit, Jay!” she stamped her foot, knowing it was childish, “If you would just listen to me!”
“Oh fuck off, Y/N! If I had known I was ever going to be stuck with you and your nagging, I wouldn’t have come back.”
“I wish you hadn’t!” The minute the words left Y/N’s mouth, she gasped and slapped her hands over her mouth. Jason’s emotionless mask slammed into place, and suddenly he was as blank as the day Bruce had found him. He turned to walk out and Y/N chased after him, “Jay, wait! I’m sorry!” He jumped onto his motorcycle and was out the door before she could stop him. She slammed her fist into the wall and cursed in frustration and pain. No one would see either of them for the rest of the day. Y/N stayed in her studio, wondering how they got to the point of shouting such hurtful things at each other.
The next day, they had both shown up for Friday night dinner, as was expected of them. Neither spoke, and the tension was too thick to be cut with a knife. Y/N had tried to pull him aside and apologize after dinner, but he had shot her with a cutting glare and stalked away. The other could tell that something had happened, but no one had the details. Tim wandered into the library after patrol that night, to find her in a chair tucked into the corner. “What are you doing here (Y/N/N)? Isn’t it a movie night with Todd?” He noted the tear tracks down her face but knew she hated showing weakness, so he said nothing about them.
“I wasn’t feeling up to it, so I canceled. I think I’ll head to bed now. Night, Timmy.” Y/N went to her room and cried herself to sleep, the guilt overwhelming her as she played the argument over in her head. If only she had just taken a break, maybe the whole situation could have been avoided. She woke up multiple times in the night, crying out Jason’s name after seeing him and the Joker over and over again. Finally, around 3 in the morning, she gave up on sleep and went to the kitchen to pour herself coffee. She decided to keep busy and started making breakfast for the family.
Alfred was the first to appear in the morning, as usual. Y/N tried to pretend that everything was normal, but nothing could be hidden from the family’s butler. He noted the dark circles under her eyes and the tremors in her hands from over-caffeination. The boys slowly started to emerge, and Alfred started to bring out all the food she had made. She made two plates out of habit and headed for the dining room. Y/N started to hand Jason his breakfast as she had every morning for a year, but suddenly she remembered and pulled her hand away. Jason didn’t even bother to look at her, and her heart clenched. She placed the plate on the table and walked back into the kitchen. “Sorry, Alfred, I’m not hungry. I think I’ll go paint.” She placed the plate she had made for herself on the counter and left.
Y/N’s studio had been a safe space since she had first moved into the manor. She had hidden away when she first arrived at Wayne Manor, unused to such an active family. Bruce had called workers to the manor and redid the room when she had told him she liked art. Now, after years of work, canvasses filled the room on all sides. Some paintings, others photos, she had accumulated in the three years. They hung on the walls and were laid across the floor. She flooded the room with Swan Lake, her sad music, and started to mix her colors. The music she played had become an easy way for the others to discern her moods since she hadn’t spoken to anyone except Fallon, Bruce’s wife, when she first came. Bruce and Dick had installed a speaker system in her studio to drown out the noise when she was overwhelmed, and everyone in the Manor could hear it if she turned it on loud enough. When the first notes hit their ears, all eyes in the dining room turned to Jason. He refused to look up and make eye contact, instead, he stared at the breakfast that had been abandoned on the table. Once everyone had averted their gaze, he pushed away from the table and disappeared.
This led to one of the most uncomfortable weeks in the Manor ever. Y/N barely left her studio and no one saw Jason for three days before he returned. When he did, he started to act as if nothing had happened. The music had eventually stopped playing altogether, so they had no idea what kind of mood she was in. Finally, Damian was the one to gather everyone else together, “Y/N/N has not come out of her studio in a week. Since Buckethead has just decided to pretend nothing has happened. We need to fix this.”
Bruce spoke up first, “Jason and Y/N are both adults. They are both being immature, and it will eventually work itself out.
“How can we fix this when we don’t even know what happened?” Tim looked up from his laptop, “I’ve been checking in on Y/N on the cameras. All she does is paint, and the most she’s slept in days is when she falls asleep accidentally. That never lasts long, and she cries. A lot.”
“Why did Fallon have to leave! We need to fix this, or the family vacation is going to be the worst!” Dick collapsed on the couch. Fallon had finally convinced Bruce that the family needed a vacation, but two weeks before they were supposed to leave, her sister had had a baby. She decided to go help her out and just meet them at the resort. They now had a week left, and it was not looking good. No one wanted to bother their mother since she very rarely took time for herself and was enjoying time with her family. They decided Alfred would be the one to try and convince Y/N to leave the studio at least and eat something.
He appeared in the doorway and watched silently as Y/N worked on a large canvas. He walked over and saw that it was a portrait of the family. “This is beautiful, Miss Y/L/N.”
“Thank you, Alfred,” her voice was hoarse from disuse.
“What is the plan for this one?” Alfred sat down next to her on the floor.
“Everyone hates photos, but Fallon wanted a family portrait for the sitting room. Since no one can sit still long enough I decided to paint one and give it to her for her birthday,” she slowly sucked in a breath, “Plus they only have the old one, and J--some people-- are missing from it.” Tears started to well up again in her eyes. Alfred wrapped an arm around Y/N and just sat with her for a moment.
“I’ve kicked the boys out of the kitchen. Do you think you could come down and eat something? For me?” She only nodded and they both stood. Y/N sat on a stool and silently ate the soup Alfred had laid out for her. She barely tasted anything, and she was starting to feel dizzy. Her vision started to blur, and the next thing she knew, she was waking up on the floor and had five heads floating above her.
“Hi, guys. Thought the floor looked lonely.” She tried to sit up but was cut off.
“That is it,” Bruce spoke firmly, “You are going to bed, and you are sleeping. I thought you were mature enough to deal with this but I see I was wrong.” He picked Y/N up and noticed she had lost weight. He carried her up the stairs and before he had reached her bedroom, she was already asleep again. Bruce turned to the boys. “At least one of you is staying in here with her and making sure she sleeps.”
Tim volunteered for the first shift and settled into her desk with his laptop. Y/N had barely been asleep an hour before she woke up from a nightmare of Jason dying. She shot up and shouted out his name, before bursting into tears. Tim -- being the awkward person he is -- was ill-prepared to deal with the crying Y/N. The only solution he could think of was to climb into bed with her and pull up a movie. She slowly fell asleep again and clung to Tim like a starfish. When Dick came to relieve Tim and saw that he was unable to leave, he climbed into bed with the duo. Anytime Y/N would start to become distressed, they would calm her down. Eventually, Damian and Titus joined the cuddle pile, the former somewhat reluctantly, grumbling about how he was only doing this for Y/N. Little did the Bat-Family know, Alfred had called Fallon and told her about the situation and she had rushed home.

The mad laughter rung out into the night sky as the purple Lamborghini hit corners with violently sharp turns. "Oh puddin I just love family night!~" The pale platinum blonde giggled as the man with green dyed hair licked his smiling lips. A bubble of laughter came from the back seat he turned around to see his princess looking out the small back window. "Batsy batsy batsy" Her low/high pitched giggle caused a crazy chain reaction as the bat mobile hurried to catch up. "Always ruining our fun, huh, princess?" The clown king shifted his gray-ish blue order into the mirror grinning making the scars on his face raise into a sinister smile at the look of pure chaos in his daughter's e/c eyes. "Not tonight! Not on my birthday!!" She said as she smiled reaching under the seat to pull out a Tommy gun. Climbing to the front seat sitting on her mothers lap she leaned out the passenger window. "Go back to the Rat cave your not gonna put a downer on my weekend!" Y/n yelled shooting off round towards the tires, windshield, and headlights.
The mobile didn't seem to have a scratch as as a motorcycle pulled up beside it. Slipping back in the car the younger women pouted looking at get parents. "He called his little birdie no doubt the replacements in the car." Y/n huffed as she dug around for more fire power. "Puddin we have a visitor.~" The red mask gazed at us as he lifted a forearm pistol. Shots were fired and Joker took a hard right almost like tron the motorcycle quickly turned into a ally to avoid being hit. "Sorry Princess might have to cut tonight shot." He said licking his lips as a thump came from the roof making the youngest clown snarl her eye crazed as she shot above her as the purple car swerved wildly. "YOU'RE RUINING MY BIRTHDAY,BATS!!!" Y/n cackled madly a mixture of her parents laughed till the magazine ran out.
They got to one of their warehouses where Jokers men were armed to the teeth. The clown mask had black soulless eyes and immediately fired the moment the batmobile entered. Y/n skipped out of the purple Lamborghini she got on her tippy toes and kissed her dad on the cheek. "I got the hooded punk. Can you clip the bats wings for me...a little present?!" He laughed as he armed himself with a shotgun. "Anything for my princess." The f/c sf/c female clown skipped away knowing that the motorcycle riding vigilante was hot on her tail. That's how she found herself on the roof tops jumping the gaps as heavy footfalls followed. Her loud laugh echoed as she leaped to a smaller building hiding behind a vent the moment the brown leather jacket came into view she tackled the tall man. They were both panting as a grin pulled on the clowns lips.
Y/n POV
"Caught ya,Jay bird." I giggled pulling of the helmet his apple green eyes covered by a second mask stared at me he chuckled as his hand slipped above his head in mock surrender. "Yeah you caught me,beautiful." Leaning down I kiss him my hands pushed into his cheeks my thumb running over the scarred J. We've been dating for awhile now ever since dad kidnapped the second Robin at seventeen. I was fifteen at the time and dad had me at his side as he tortured him.I was always there to stitched him up and put burn cream after shock therapy I didn't know how we got attached maybe because he wanted to rebel a little by talking to me or someone around his age saw the same if not worse shit.
Six years ago(Y/n 15 Jason 17)
"Why are you helping me?" Looking up his head was strapped down along with his arms and legs. I shrugged my shoulders I knew who he was if I wiped off the make up and temp dyed my hair I was the honor student in the same class as him. Jason Todd anyone with eyes had a thing for him,but after removing his mask it wasn't hard to piece together who the bat fam is. "I know what my dad has planned for you Jay. This is just a band-aid on a gunshot wound and might I say that's very unhelpful." This was the first I spoke to him and it wasn't long before Dad beat him to death.
Two years later.
I sat in the back of the car as Frost drove. We just left the cemetery. "Why are we doing this,n/n." He asked looking in the rear view mirror at me. I'm seventeen now my thoughts screamed at me. Why was I trying to bring him back? "Because I crazy that why!" I giggled as we grew closer to the lazapit. He was dressed in a black suit with red tie his body sunk into the water as I waited. A loud gasp drew my attention as he shot up a white streak in his hair. "Heya sleeping beauty." Looking over in shock he lowly made his way looking like a baby deer. "I'm alive, but h-how?" His green eyes looked at me. "A Ghoul owed me a few favors I just asked to use his fountain of youth." Handing him a towel and some clothes. "Sorry about the outfit, but Arkham does have one size fits all." Jason chuckled as he started to dry off.I realized why I brought him back. I was crazy about him.
Two more years later(two years ago)
Jason wanted to stay dead he didn't go back to His dad and brother after he realized that neither of them tried and save him. It was sad to see,but it brought Jason closer to me and he started to trust me and I gave trust in return. Blood coated my hands while some was on my face. Looking at Jay some was speckled on his cheeks taking the pockets square out of the mobsters coat I wiped it off he looked down at me his arm slipped around my waist pulling me closer my breath hicked. "Will you be my girlfriend,my little jester?" A large smile grew on my face as my arms went around his neck pulling him down further. "Gladly,Jay bird." I kissed him not caring if my lipstick stained his lips and he didn't seem to care either as the kiss grew more intense. We shared our first kiss at nineteen surrounded by dead bodies as sirens and the unmistakable sound of the armed batmobile. At least he's as crazy about me as I am about him.
One year ago. (Jason POV for a sec)
I came to Bruce I hate to admit it but I needed advice about the one think he knew best. Women. It was just a couple of months ago he found out I was alive and shocker he managed to drive Dicky boy to Blüdhaven to get away from him to get his own image and not just Robin. Oh and surprise surprise when out of robins he had a spare like a tire and it's name was Tim. Nevermind that I stood across from Bruce in his home main office he had a frown on his face. "You're dating someone and its serious and I didn't know about it?" He asked trying to deduct everything. "I've been dating her ever since I came back. As strange as it might sound, but I want us to be something more." That's when the billionaire playboy stood up standing just a inch shorter then myself.
"Life is short Jason and you've experienced that first hand if you feel that both of you are perfect enough to be more then go for it." Perfect wasn't realistic nothing was ever perfect my life isn't perfect her life sure as hell isn't she's the clown princess I'm a bat son. Maybe that what makes us so good together the fact that it would have never really happened any other way life is just crazy like that.
Present
Staring into those vexing green eyes always brought me back. We're both twenty-one him being older only by a couple of months. "Happy birthday, gorgeous." His voice brought me back as my smile grew. We were standing up now he held a box wrapped in my two favorite colors. "Awe you shouldn't have." I grab it and opened it a gun was inside it was red and gold revolver it looked like my moms love/hate gun,but it said King/Queen. Looking at Jay I reached to hug him when suddenly he dropped to one knee pulling out a box with a beautiful f/c ring and ruby gem. "This feels over due. You took care of me when I was considered enemy number one. You brought me back from the grave when my own family didn't try. And this might sound stupid, but I had a crush on you in middle school you were one of the only people that didn't give me pity after Bruce adopted a street kid." He licked his lips as he gave of a small smile. "Together we are far from perfect, but we are good. You complete me...Y/n M/n Napier become my queen?" My eyes glossed over with tears my make up running down the pale foundation. "Oh my god of course!!!" I jumped into his arms hugging him tightly before letting him slip on the ring. "I love you." "I love you more crazy." I chuckle it sounded watery in my throat. "If I'm crazy then that makes two of us. You wanted to marry me." Yep we're both batshit crazy.

you’re definitely flirting with me
—jason todd x villain!reader
second and final part to are you flirting with me. can be read as a stand-alone tho
navi | bat boys m.list | are you flirting with me
content — language, blood, mentions of harassment, mildly suggestive (use of the word ‘daddy’ but ironically)
notes — i know that its literally been years and that i formerly posted a part two to are you flirting with me, but looking back, i didn't like how it turned out. i did find a fun drabble in my drafts with villain!reader as well, so i decided to rewrite it and use it as a continuation. i actually deleted the old parts personally, i prefer this version of the end!
"I'm in."
"Hot. You should be able to see–"
"Nothing?"
Silence.
"Is this your way of telling me you're visually impaired?"
"I will scoop your eyes out in your sleep."
"Please use an ice cream scooper. My eyeballs would fit so well, it would be so satisfying–"
"Harper."
"Okay, okay. What do you mean nothing?"
"By nothing I mean nothing, ball sack. The warehouse is fucking empty."
Frantic rustling of papers and violent knocking of objects could be heard on Roy's end of the line. Jason sighed, going to pinch the bridge of his nose before realizing he had a helmet on.
The whole situation was throwing him off his rhythm — that much was evident. The intel they had collected on the gang of criminals seemed too obvious, too predictable. Jason had his suspicions, but Roy was quick to shut him down. 'Dude, trust me,' he said. Famous last words.
A crackle of static sounded in his earpiece. Roy's voice urgent and choppy before completely dying out. Jason could only attempt to call out to his partner in the hopes of a full response, but his efforts brought no avail. That's another thing that went wrong today.
"Hey, sexy."
What in the fuck.
"Your ass looks great from this angle. The party you're looking for is in a bar on the other side of the city, by the way."
You couldn't actually see him, but he doesn't need to know that. It's just your thing to mess with him, and by the sounds of him cussing you out for hacking into his means of communication, it was working. It was amusing. He kept you entertained.
That was all you had to say to him for now though, so you bid him goodbye. The roaring of his motorcycle over his colorful language directed at you was the last thing you heard before you cut off and allowed his partner to get back on the line.
"Jaybird? You there?"
"Ah, you're back. I'm never trusting you with getting intel again."
"Whatever. Anyway, was that...?"
"Yeah. Y/v/n."
"Hm. I don't know what she's on, but you have no ass like–"
"And yet I have more ass than you, so shut the fuck up, paddle board."
“That... That was a bit harsh, bro.”
Soft gushes of wind blew against your masked face. You shut your eyes, feeling the breeze and relishing in your little moment of peace. Lazily pacing, you hummed a random tune.
Your mischief and cunningness is something your alias was known for. Most often, it's a convenient trait to be able to slip around with ease and get the job done in a snap, but sometimes you get bored. It can be such a drag when nobody tries a confrontation with you. That's why you're so fond of the Red Hood. It's a shame that it's been a while since you've seen him around, so imagine your delight when you feel a familiar presence behind you.
You took a seat at the edge of the building. To anyone, you would've looked like you were having your main character moment, peacefully looking over the city if not for the small pile of bodies rotting away not too far from you. The dried blood on your attire and your fingers no longer irked you in the slightest. It's something you've gotten used to, which lead to your habit of picking the blood under your nails. Red gets annoyed when you do this — all the more reason to entertain your habit in front of him.
You let your legs dangle over the edge without a care. You didn't bother to greet the vigilante, who currently had a gun aimed at your back. Sigh.
“Oh, I do hate the sight of blood.”
“Well then, maybe — just maybe — you shouldn’t kill for a living.”
That got you to turn your head to face him. You cock an eyebrow — doesn’t he kill for a living too? Sure, his victims are usually criminals and thugs while yours are people you’re paid to target, usually business owners and the occasional politician, but you digress. Details. The point is, he kills people too.
A few seconds of staring and prolonging the tension passed, and Jason weighed his options before eventually putting down his gun. He then opted to join you on the ledge.
“So,” he started, “what’s your favorite color?”
Funny.
“Sweetheart, if you thought you’d be able to keep me entertained with small talk... I think I’d rather you shot me.”
You stood up from your spot on the ledge and leaned over the rooftop to examine your altitude. You grin to yourself.
“What are you doing?”
You don’t answer. You want to see something. Instead you turn your body to face Jason and mockingly salute him before leaping off the building, though not before you heard him call out your alias’ name and yell a panicked ‘Wait!’
Immediately after you, Jason followed. You chuckled when you saw him get closer. You enjoyed fooling him around almost as much as you enjoyed fooling around with him.
With no time to waste, he pulled out his grappling hook, yanked your body by the waist, and zipped to the rooftop of the nearest building — one different from the last one you were on.
Jason‘s heaving chest radiated distress.
“You’re fucking insane! You could have died!”
You stood in front of him, arms crossed and your stance relaxed. Nobody would’ve suspected that you literally jumped off a building just a few seconds ago. Aw, you pout, he cares about me.
“Would’ve made your job easier. You know, you heroes are supposed to get rid of the bad guys.”There’s humor in your eyes. Jason knows you’re enjoying this. He hates how much you enjoy this. “So, why’d you save me?”
“Why’d you help me with my mission last time?”
He’s deflecting. Cute.
“Hey, I asked you a question first.” You know he won’t budge til you give him an answer. He’s probably been asking himself that question since it happened. You mentally pout, aww he thinks of me. Sigh. Okay, fine.
“The gang you were after just so happened to have given me a job a little while ago.” You recall some of the gang members attempting to grope you. Some unpleasant memories you’d rather live without. “Pissed me off. Now your turn.”
Why’d you save me?
A pause. He shifted to look to the side. Oh, this is interesting.
“You could have died.” Ah, this again.
“Well, you’ve died,” you remind him. “Not that it really stuck.”
He says your name — your real name. You wonder when he discovered your identity, but then again, you’re not all that surprised. It’s him after all.
He can see your growing smile the longer he refuses to answer your question. He knows you’re already thinking of something, and still opts to ignore your question, allowing you to further indulge in your thoughts. He dreads you enlightening him; he knows it’s coming. Jason could not fathom how one woman could frustrate him so much.
“You like me.” There it is, he thinks. There’s your stupid smirk and your dumb air of arrogance.
“Come on, just admit it, hot shot. You can’t live without me.” Okay, maybe that one’s a bit of a stretch (just a bit), but you stand by it nonetheless.
You grin wide as you approach him. Leaning slightly forward to grab Jason by the collar and pull him down to meet your eyes, you repeat yourself.
“You like me.” Stated with more emphasis, like a significant fact that you try to drill into your head when studying for an exam.
“I’ll shoot you.”
“Please, daddy.”

CHALLENGE G.L.
REQUEST: could i pls request some gar logan x reader fluff where gar has a huge crush on the reader who's very self assured and confident and he keeps his feelings to himself because he doesn't think he's enough for her. then one day she corners him and asks why he's been so distant and he confesses his feelings and it all becomes a big fluffy mess. bonus if the reader was subtly flirting the whole time and gar was oblivious.
Warning: fluff, Gar being sad a little
A/N: First Gar fic! I hope you all enjoy! 💕
Part two
Word Count: 2.7k
Being a part of the Titans was everything you could dream of and more. For once in your life you finally felt like you belonged somewhere. Your teammates, your friends - they were more than that - they were your family. No matter how much they fought, you knew that you would always be there for each other.
Much like Dick and Jason, you were only human. On a team filled with people of extraordinary powers and abilities, you should have been the kind of person that felt intimidated. However, being without powers and still deserving a place on this team made you maybe a little too confident.
You were cocky when it came to showing off why you deserved to be there just like everyone else. That attitude rubbed off on you when you weren't training or in the field too. Even just lounging around the tower you oozed confidence. A lot of times in your life, you found that girls would be envious of you and boys would be intimidated by you.
You became a challenge.
Even within the safe walls of the tower you were still within danger of being the prey. Jason Todd relentlessly tried to win you over. He adored your skills, your beauty, the incredible intelligence you maintained all while keeping a humorous mentality. You were the definition of perfect to many.
And you knew it too. It was rare to ever see you put yourself above others, but you were well aware the affect you had on people. After years of being put on an unwanted pedestal of perfection, you knew that people desired you. It was what made you so confident in yourself. Thankfully, you knew well enough to keep yourself humble. Mostly.
Jason continuously tried to flirt his way into your life. Though you enjoyed the playful banter between the two of you, he wasn't the person that you were interested in.
You and Gar were best friends. The second that you two met it was an instant connection - he brought out a side of you that had been tucked away for so long. Around him you could be your playful, care-free self. You didn’t have to worry about maintaining the facade that people expected from you. He was like a breath of fresh air every time you were with him. It was nice to finally have someone befriend you for more than just your beauty and skills.
"Come on, Gar! You can do better than that."
Training day was always your favourite day. It was the only time that you felt like you could truly let off some steam. Kicking ass against some bad guys always did you good too, but you always had to restrain yourself to some degree. Training allowed you to go all out and gave you the time to improve your skills.
At the moment, it was you and Gar sparring in the ring. Once the dummy you were using had been beaten down multiple times, you needed a live, moving opponent. Gar was the nearest person you could find who wasn't busy. Most of the time, it was Jason you sparred with - he had a similar set of skills to you.
"You know my hand to hand skills are no where near as good as yours," Gar complained. He laid flat on the mat with a bruised ego as you stood above him. As much as he had been learning from you and Dick, he didn't even compare. He had powers, he didn't need to be as reliant as you with pure skill alone.
"Then don't use them," you stuck your hand out to help him up. "Let out the beast, I can handle it." Gar immediately shook his head, he didn't want to hurt you - being the tiger could do some serious damage against you. Being human meant you healed like a human, he wouldn't forgive himself if something happened.
"(Y/N), we talked about this," Gar argued. He ducked, narrowly missing your left hook. The two of you circled each other on the mat. You were in your usual training attire - shorts and a sports bra. It also happened to be Gar's favourite outfit on you, and the most distracting. "I'm not going to fight you like that."
"Yes, you are," you confidently told him. Gar tried to make the first attack this time. He lunged towards you and jabbed his fist towards your face but you had seen it coming. You grabbed onto his arm and twisted it behind his back. His knees buckled as you kicked the back of them and your arm wrapped around his neck. "I'll even say please."
Gar shivered as your breath fanned against his neck. Over the time that the two of you spent in the tower, he realized that his feelings for you were a little more than friendly. Just like any other man you came to encounter, he had fallen for you alluring spell. It broke his heart to know that he never stood a chance to win you over. Not when there were people like Jason out there.
"No."
"Gar."
"I don't want to hurt you!" He broke out of your hold and turned to face you. The last thing he wanted to do was hurt you. Every time you came back from some sort of mission with cuts and bruises, he wanted nothing more than to take that pain away from you. You were far too precious to have to go through any pain.
"You won't. I can handle myself," you assured him. "Besides, I always enjoy the view when you switch back to yourself," You winked at him. Gar's face flared up red with embarrassment - He hated not having his clothes after he used his powers. You on the other hand, always liked getting glimpses of him.
"I'm definitely not doing it now," Gar muttered, still blushing. Your grinned at him being so flustered by your compliment. You reached up to pat his cheek, but it had only made his redness worse.
"Fine, I guess I'll go find Jason or Dick to spar with," you dragged out your words, hoping that he would get the hint that you wanted to train with him, not either of them. He didn't, of course. As always, unless you were being direct he never picked up on your desire to hang out with him. At the mention of Jason's name, he had already given up.
Gar hid the hurt look on his face as you offered to train with someone else. It seemed to be good timing too, Jason had just been walking by when he saw the two of you and decided to pop in to see how things were going. "Look at that, once again just impeccable timing," Gar had a noticeable tone of frustration in his voice.
He left the training room without another word, unable to see the sad look on your face as he left. Jason on the other hand, looked thrilled to get to train with you again. It was Gar that you wanted to spend time with, not him. It was always Gar that you wanted to see, he was the most important person in your life.
"Gar!" You called after him. He either didn't hear you or decided to ignore you. Either way, you frowned at his departure.
His smile would light up any bad day you were having. No matter how bad his jokes were, they always seemed to put a smile on your face. You even suffered through him playing his video games just to see him excited over a win. And when he asked you to play against him, of course you couldn't deny it.
"You ready, princess?"
"Call me that again and you won't get back off the ground."
><
Gar had been avoiding you.
At first, it was subtle. He would be late enough to dinner that his usual spot beside you was taken. He then started to choose someone else to spar with during training. That you weren't surprised about, after the last time you figured that he would go with Dick instead of you for the next few times.
If you were in the living room, he would stay in his room. If you ever went to go visit him there, he would claim he was just about to jump in the shower and he would catch you later. By that point, you were far past suspicious of his behavior.
Gar was your best friend, and without him your days were lonely. It had only been a few weeks since he started ignoring you, but you missed him. The short time apart realized how much you truly cared for him. You knew that these feelings you had for him had been there for quite a while, but you never realized how strong they were.
You wished that Gar was more than a friend towards you. With him ignoring you, it was easy to assume that he didn't feel the same way. You whole life was spent with boys chasing you, and when the one you cared about most wasn't, well it was a shock to you. Gar was the only person you wanted to looking at you with admiration and now he couldn't even look you in the eye.
After giving him his space for a few weeks, you decided enough was enough. Gar was your best friend and he sure as hell wasn't acting like it. Whatever was going on with him, you needed to know. The only way that you could help him get through whatever he was going through was to know everything.
So, when you saw him sneaking into the kitchen for a late night snack, you cornered him. Gar was peaking in the fridge as you stood behind the door. There was no way that he was going to avoid you this time. The second that he closed the door and saw your figure standing there, he got so frightened his eyes turned bright green.
"(Y/N)!" Gar shouted, nearly dropping the jug of milk he had grabbed. His hand was over his chest after the surprise and his eyes wide. "What, uh, what're you doing here?"
"You've been avoiding me, Garfield," you got right to the point. A nervous smile covered his cheeks "And don't try lying to me that you haven't, I know you better than that. You're my best friend, Gar. I'm worried about you, what's going on?"
"I don't want to talk about it," Gar stated. He turned away from you to continue making his midnight snack of what you assumed was going to be cereal. It was always his go to - you knew that. However, his hesitance to tell you how he was feeling was what made you nervous. He was never like this, not towards you.
As soon as he tried to pass you, you snatched the bowl of cereal out of his hand and stood before him. There was no way he was getting out of it this time. Not with the way that he was acting.
"(Y/N)," Gar whined. You gave him a look that insinuated that you weren't about to give up. He tried to grab the bowl from your hands but you were too quick for him to even get near it. That didn't stop him from trying. Gar tried to out-wit you, but had only failed. "Give it back, I'm hungry."
"No," you affirmed. "The only way that you're getting this bowl is if you fight me, or if you tell me what the fuck is going on with you." Gar tilted his head down, he didn't like either of those options. However, he knew he'd rather get his ass kicked by you, then to ruin the friendship that he had.
When Garfield tilted his head back up, his eyes were green and his skin was tinged the same color too. He was willing to beast out if that meant that he didn't have to confess his feelings to you. His action hurt you more than you ever thought they could. Gar wasn't a violent person, and for him to do this, it really meant he didn't trust you.
Gar went back to his normal self when you didn't budge from your spot. He was even more surprised when he noticed how glassy your eyes looked and the tremble in your hands while holding his bowl. Gar didn't hesitate to throw his arms around you in hopes to comfort you from his actions.
"I'm sorry," He whispered. The grip he had on you caused your shirt to scrunch up in his hand. You set the bowl on the counter beside you and wrapped your arms around him as well.
"No," you shook your head at his apology. He had done nothing wrong, this was your fault. "If you don't want to talk about your feelings then I shouldn't force you to do so. Just... if I'm doing something wrong, or you're upset with me for something just tell me. I can't sleep at night thinking your avoiding me because you hate me now."
You gave Gar one more squeeze before walking away from him. It wasn't fair of you to try and force him to talk about something that he wasn't comfortable with. You should have known better. It was just always so easy to talk to him, you always thought that he felt the same ease with you.
Your breathing trembled as you walked down the empty hall to your room. Maybe the friendship you had with Gar wasn't what you thought it was.
A hand latching onto yours nearly made you jump. Gar had stopped you. He tugged you back towards him, and if it wasn't for his hold you would have fallen flat on the ground. Gar held you up against him with his hands resting on your waist. Your hands were delicately rested in his chest.
"(Y/N), I..." Gar stuttered over his words. He was hesitant to tell you his feelings, but he needed you to know that he didn't hate you, not at all. The closeness of you made him nervous, he could see every little detail of your face, each one of them perfect in their own ways. "I..." he tried once more.
You couldn't take this anymore. You couldn't take teetering around him and your feelings towards him. Endless flirting that he never seemed to pick up on or the fact that you got flustered every time you messed up and he was around. This battle you were having with yourself about whether or not Gar's feelings for you were more than friendly needed to end.
Your hands slid up his chest until they rested on the side of his face. The warmth of his skin drew you in more, like you craved his touch. Gar let out a gasp as you pressed your lips against his. He stood still, surprised by your actions. There was no way that the girl of his dreams was kissing him.
Gar snapped out of his shock. His grip lowered to your hips and he finally started to kiss you back. Everything about this was perfect. The taste of your lips, the softness of your skin. He was completely blinded by you and your perfection.
You pulled away, completely out of breath but a smile on your lips. The linger of his touch resided on you and you wished for it never to go away. "I'm sorry," You whispered. "I shouldn't have... I couldn't go any longer without doing that," you changed your sentence.
"I'm glad you did," Gar grinned. You loved his smile, you always had. It seemed to be the only thing that would make you happy when you were feeling down. "Truth be told, I was avoiding you because I didn't know how much longer I could go without doing that too."
Gar kissed you again. The softness of his lips made you want to have them constantly on you. You wanted his kiss, his hold, you wanted him to love you. The happiness that filled your heart something that you hadn't felt in so long. He was your happiness, he had been since the day you met.
"Guess we better make up for lost time then."

First Time Visitor // Jason Todd
requested by @im-hqlover
The reader goes to the Wayne manor for the first time.
a/n: i have no idea if the title makes any sense. hope you like it ❤️
word count: 925
You held on to Jason's hand as your life depended on it as the two of you walked into the manor. He turned of the beeping alarm and locked the door.
Looking around you gasped. Holy hell, this place is beautiful. And you're only in the hallway yet.
Jason noticed this and honestly he still felt this even if he leaved here for years. Chuckling he took off his shoes.
"Wait till you see the rest"
With him leading theway the two of you walk further into the manor. Everything looks so fancy and expensive. Before you can stop yourself you speak:
"I can't imagine living here!"
Jason raises an eyebrow at you.
"I mean I can imagine it, sure but think about the disaster! Everything looks so breakable and you know how clumsy I can get." you ramble nervously. "I am so afraid that I will just break something and than Bruce will hate me and than we can't be together and.."
Jason interrupted with his laugh. He cupped your face.
"Baby, don't worry, 'kay? Bruce will not hate you. Even if you break something."
"Thanks, that's.. Kinda reassuring."
"You're welcome. Now come on I wanna show you something in my room."
"That's what he said..." you said causing Jason to chuckle, again. Soon you found yourself in front of a wall twice as tall as you filled with only bookshelf and many, many books.
"Oh, my, god." you squeaked excitedly. "This is incredible! You have an own little library! The heck! I am in love. Good luck trying to remove me from here, this is where I live now."
Jasom put an arm around you with a smile.
"I told you so. And for the contrary, I wouldn't mind you staying here."
Normally buy now your face would have heated up but right now you were too focused on gazing at the books and reading their titles. He gestured forward.
"Feel free to get your hands on them, doll. They don't bite."
For the next couple minutes (hour) you looked around, and talked about his books.
"Can I borrow this?" you ask holding up a book you wanted to read for a while.
"Sure. Anything you want. Okay maybe not my Shakespeares. We are not there yet." he said.
"Oh..."
"I'm just kidding. You can borrow those too..." he said forcing a smile. You laughed at him.
"Thanks Jay, that's super kind of you."
He smirked shifting closer to you.
"Yeah, I know..."
You looked at him, biting your lower lip.
"Is there any way I can thank you, my dear?"
"Well..." Jason leaned closer, and now you were only a few centimeters apart when with a sudden scream the alarm went off. You jumped slightly and you heard Jason mutter some swear words under his breath.
"Bruce and Alfred must have arrived." he said eventually standing up and straightening his shirt. Suddenly all your forgotten anxiety came back. Luckily Jason notices this and takes the book out of your hand and puts it on his bed. Now he takes your hands in his and looks at you.
" Hey, it's okay. They will love you. Okay, Bruce can be a little... Too much? He'll probably ask some questions, and give you the 'if you hurt my son' speech- and I know this fir a fact because I heard him practicing in front of the computer at 4 am... But it will be fine. And if you feel uncomfortable we can always come back to my room, alright?"
You nodded. Jason and you walked down, never letting go of each other's hand. Arriving downstairs where Bruce already sat at the huge dining table.
" Ay, Bruce! How was your flight? "
"Quiet. I didn't hear your puns for two days."
"Well, I, petty you." Jason responds laughing. Bruce stands up quickly hugs his ward.
"Hi Jason." letting go, he steps back and looks at you as he just acknowledged your presence in the room. "And you must be Y/N, right?"
Shaking a little you noded.
"Yes, it's nice to meet you Mr. Wayne."
"Oh please, Bruce is just fine."
At this moment a really annoyed looking Alfred comes in at puts a plate on the table where Bruce sat a few moments ago.
"Ohhh, thanks Alfred!" the man said.
"Well. Have a good apatite eating your.. Take out, sir." Alfred said with slight disgust. He turned towards the two of you. "It is a pleasure finally meeting you Miss Y/N. Master Bruce was bold enough to buy the two of you some food too. Would you like me to reheat them?"
"Yes, thank you Alfred, that would be great." said Jason laughing a little when he heard the butler whisper to himself about how cheap fast food was not even food. Soon all three of you sat at the table, Jason between you and Bruce, and ate. You talked, Bruce indeed did ask a few questions but they were like 'What's your favorite subject at school; favorite activities ect.'. He just wanted to get to know the person who was dating his son really. And you couldn't blame him for that. You also got the 'break my son's heart and I'll make your life miserable but otherwise we are cool and I'm glad you make him happy' speech too. Later you went back to Jay's room to play some video games (strictly with an open door, Bruce was clear about that.) And over all your first time at the manor was really good.

———————————————————————
Chapter 2
A thick white sweater hung loosely off the girl’s frame paired with low cut blue bell bottom jeans and black platforms. Her hair stuck out on either side of her wool knitted cap. Her full, pursed lips frowned as she could barely breathe, the fumes of marijuana invaded her nostrils. Her freshly wet shoes from snowfall sank into the shagged carpet inside the packed unfashionable cheap sorority home. She left a dark trail as she navigated through the crowd holding Barbra’s hand like a life line. Barbra’s fiery hair like a red river flowing behind the beautiful young woman as she squeezed through the guest.
The girl cursed under her breath as the drink she was holding sloshed around in her red plastic cup, the liquid dampening the sleeves. Slowing a moment Barbra glanced back. Her green eyes greeted Y/n’s own, a sly smile pulled at Barbra lips. “Great turn out, huh?” Barbra commented loudly over the droning of the music. Which had just changed from The Beatles to a more electrifying melody of Jimi Hendrix. Y/n only nodded , not bothering to waste her breath to yell over the sea of people. Barbra only offered a knowing smile, before she tugged Y/n’s again until the two eventually settled in the back. The red haired woman smiled gleefully as they approached a group swarmed in a tight huddle, deep in conversation.
“Hey, Richard!”Barbra chimes, sauntering up to
a handsome man who looked up from a small blonde. His eyes a brilliant mesmerising blue, they remind Y/n of gazing up at the sky on a cloudless day. He groomed a lazy hand through his tousled black hair, sweeping it from his tanned face. “Hey baby.” He smiled earnest, pecking a kiss to Barbra’s cheek. “Richard, I’d like you to meet Y/n.” Barbra gestured to the girl behind her. Richard gave another charming smile Y/n’s way, tilting his head playfully. “Hey, I remember you from the theater program, the fall showcase of Romeo and Juliet.” He beamed and offered his hand. “My name is Richard but I prefer Dick. It’s nice to see you outside college.” Y/n takes his hand shaking it. “You too.” She replied shortly and dropped his hand. She tasted her drink and grimaces trying not to gag at the distasteful mixture of different alcohols.
“Are there anymore shows this year?” He continued seeming to not notice. “ Not sure.” She croaked, her throat and mouth burning from the aftertaste. “The spring showcase maybe? That is if the school can afford it.” She shrugs. Dick nodded understandably.
“Yeah, I heard Romeo and Juliet was a bit of a bust.” he replied mindlessly. Barbra gasped and elbowed his side making him jump. “B-But I digged it.” He stuttered quick and flustered, his face tinted with blush. He slumped an arm around Y/n’s neck leaning forward, and she could smell his expensive cologne. The delicate scent somehow overpowered the musky heat of the party. “Well, i'm glad you...liked it.” She faltered , her voice small as she held her drink close to her chest like a safeguard. “How’s football?” She inquired. Dick rolled his eyes to the ceiling leaning away, he awkwardly pulled at the collar of his shirt. “We are definitely not making the playoffs. We only won one game this season, but there’s always a next time, right?” He shrugged. “And you know what? Hopefully there is another show, I know you’ll kill it.”
Y/n's smiled, but she shakes her head brushing off the compliment.
“I don’t know about that. I didn’t even get the part of Juliet, I played her mother.”
“Well, every role is important right?’ He chirped. He held her eyes smiling, leaving Y/n disorientated again. Barbra interjected, “You know there’s a lot of people I want you to know tonight, Y/n.” She steps between the two, separating them. “Let me finish showing you around.” She takes Y/n hand rougher than before nearly yanking her off into the crowd. Dick waved goodbye and shouted after them, “And a happy New Year to you Y/n!”
Barbra pushed passed the guest, and practically dragged Y/n along. “Since you met the oldest Wayne, it can’t hurt to meet the others.” She said, looking around. “There’s Tim.” Barbra points to a young long dark haired teen in a band tee and baggy jeans much too big for his smaller body. He sat on the stairs surrounded by a group of people. The same blonde girl from earlier is draped around his side. Her purple sheer dress flows down the steps where they sat. “He’s the youngest of the adopted brothers and that’s his girlfriend Stephaine.” She points to the girl. She and Y/n walk again into the kitchen, there they find themselves near the speakers. Marvin Gaye sings a soulful melody.
“It’s a great night.” Barbra commented as she rested against the kitchen’s island. Y/n agreed, and sipped her drink growing used to the acidic taste. Barbra nudged her, until she gave in looking at the red head . “Oh come on I know parties aren’t your thing.” She chuckled, causing Y/n to squint her eyes at her curiously.
“Then why invite me?” She puzzled.
“Because I missed having you around.” Barbra admittedly truthfully, shrugging her shoulders. Y/n frowns remembering just how much time had passed between the two. “I missed you too.” She said sincerely , and Barbra half smiled at the sentiment.
“So,...” Barbra began, leaning up. “Are there any guys who you're interested in? Ya know besides Richard.” Y/n cringed, letting her drink sit abandoned on the counter top. “Sorry about that, I didn’t know what to do.” She apologized. “ It’s not your fault. Dick flirts with everyone, it’s just his personality.” Barbra huffed. Y/n gives her a long look but she avoids her gaze. “I'm just hoping you get laid tonight.” Barbra changes the subject casually leaving Y/n dumbfounded.
“What?” Y/n coughed . Barbra laughed, sweeping her hair behind her ear. “I don’t know.” She sighs, looking off into the crowd in thought. “You’ve been a virgin ever since we met, haven’t you thought about it?”
Y/n scoffs, crossing her arms defensively. “Of course I have. Who hasn’t?” She retorted.
Barbra smirks, side eyeing her suspiciously but Y/n scowled at her and then breathed a breath of annoyance.
“Look, I’m fine with not losing it at the moment, especially to some drunken idiot.” She nodded towards the party goers. Picking up her drink she tossed it aside into a trash bin. “Too bad all the best of the Waynes are taken.” The red haired girl remarked. Y/n was about to agree but stopped for a moment thinking. “Wait...” She began. “Aren’t there like three of them?” Barbra’s face fell and she grits her teeth in annoyance. “Oh yeah, you mean-”
She’s interrupted by a loud voice calling her name. Barbra turned on her heels finding Dick waving her over. She shoots Y/n an apologetic look before hurrying off towards him. Y/n can’t help but to watch as Barbra's face lights up and Dick leans to kiss her, his hand entangled in her hair. He held her close, whispering in her ear, and the girl laughed full heartedly. Y/n forced herself to turn away.
Sometime passed and Barbra had yet to reappear, alone in the kitchen Y/n steals a bottle of alcohol, with its company in her hand she wanders through the crowd aimlessly. Her eyes observed the guest surrounding her, watching them in their own worlds and suddenly she felt small.
It wasn’t like Y/n didn’t want to go to parties, she just figured she didn’t belong in places like this. She wasn’t like Barbra, she didn't have an overflowing amount of friends or the perfect boyfriend. They were polar opposite, always had been, and Y/n constantly found herself on the outside looking in. Deep in thought she’s startled when a hand pressed firmly against her back. She whipped her head only catching a glance of Dick as he smiled at her, rushing out the front door with other boys. She wandered, sipping from the bottle carelessly until she found Barbra again slumping onto the stairs next to Tim. As she made her way over, the room seemed to spin and found herself feeling warm and light. Pink Floyd played drowning the house in drum and bass.
“Sorry, I left you.” Barbra groaned as Y/n plopped down next to her. “Dick needed to go practice with the guys late again.” She sighed. “It’s like all he does nowadays.” Tim offered her his beer, and she took it from him drinking. After nearly downing the entire bottle Barbra attempted to stand wobbly, using shoulder Y/n for balance. “I should really stop drinking when I'm upset.” She says aloud but more to herself. She shook her head angrily before taking a few deep breaths. When she glanced back at Y/n and Tim’s worried expressions her eyes shifted quickly before the two.
“ I almost forgot,” she said suddenly. “ Tim, this is Y/n and Y/n this is Tim.” Tim and Y/n shared an odd look before greeting another. “You like Pink Floyd?” Tim questioned. Y/n bobbed her head. “I like all music.” She responded. “Well, how about we dance?” He suggested. He reached down and gripped her by the arm, pulling her up and away before she could answer. Y/n looked back at Barbra who talked with Stephanie now, her head in hands as she spoke. Tim ushered Y/n to a space on the floor and Y/n pardoned herself as she bumped into the other dancers. Tim gripped her waist and Y/n followed in example by wrapping her arms around his shoulders.
“So, It’s been a hell of a night.” He said. Pressing his body up to hers. “I heard from Barbra you're looking for some fun tonight!” He whispered loudly in her ear. Y/n rolled her eyes, pulling back. “I wish she’d stop telling people that.” She sighed. Tim laughed drunkenly and began. swinging himself to the music very unrhythmically. “Well, half of the people are too drunk to see straight, ‘tis not a good idea.” He warned. Y/n shook her head unfazed. “Trust me I wasn’t looking.” She grunted. Tim nodded as they began dancing again.
“So, it must be kind of crazy being Bruce Wayne’s son?” Y/n inquired. Tim gives her a strange look. “Probably more than you can imagine but I’m not different from anyone else here.” he says finally. The two slow down their movement as the song switches to a softer tune, Y/n sucks in her cheek before continuing. “Why is it crazier than I think?” Y/n questioned and Tim stiffen for a moment. He sighed and twirled her around before pulling her close again. “He’s.. not as he seems.” He hesitated.
Tim leaned in close, his breath immersed with beer. “Have you met him?” He asked. Y/n tried not to show her discomfort as his breath invaded her air. “No.” She answered quickly. “It’s just so interesting, your dad practically owns our school.”
He cocked his head, giving her a wicked grin.
“What about me? Aren’t I interesting?” He said slurring his words, coming dangerously close to her face. “I’m not boring you am I?”
Y/n‘s turned her head. “No.” She backs away putting some distance between them, but Tim flushed them close again. This time Y/n pushed him away, he nearly fell as he fumbled back. He looked at her bewildered and Y/n‘s eyes widened. “I’m sorry.” She said flustered. “I think I need a moment.” Y/n pushed through people, she breathed quickly, her anxiety setting in as she needed to escape or she’d suffocate in the tight room. She fled to the balcony doors, she struggled with the lock before finally stepping out and taking a deep breath. She hastily closed it again, the cold fogging across the glass. She barely noticed the man facing away from her as she wrapped her arms tightly around herself for warmth. The man smoked looking over the rail to the city below them. “Fuck.” she mumbled, rubbing her face frantically. “The Wanye are so weird.” She thought to herself. Her and the mysterious stranger stood silently for a moment, the distant explosions of fireworks the only sound between them. Now and then, someone near lit a firework that made the sky glow in brilliant colors above them.
Finally breaking the silence the stranger said “You don’t look like you’re enjoying the party.” She glanced over at him, only to meet the back of his head. She tilted her head, curling her lips in a thin line, his face was barely visible in the dim lighting. “Neither do you.” She retorted. The dark haired man continued to stare out at the city wordless. Y/n rubbed the back of her neck awkwardly before speaking again,“I’ve never seen you around before.” She continued.
The stranger huffed, “That’s not surprising.”
He took a small box from his pocket, pulling out a cigarette before he offered the box to her. She shook her head no, and the man chuckled before sliding the box away, lighting his cig. “Worried about your health, huh? While drinking a bottle of vodka?” He said pointedly. She looked down at the bottle in her hand, it was half empty. Y/n snapped her head at him.
“I don’t always drink.” She countered defensively.
“I don’t care.” He responded dryly. Y/n pulled a face at him, rolling her eyes to herself. “Look, perhaps we’ve gotten off on the wrong foot.” She said and shifted until she was fully facing the back of him. “I’m Y/n.” She pulled her best smile offering her hand but the stranger didn't comply. In fact he took a long drag of his cigarette, purposely blowing it up into the air above them. Y/n let’s her hand drop feeling uncomfortable. She held the bottle closed to her chest and rocked on her heels.
“Well, can I at least know your name?” She insisted. “What would be the point of that?” He questioned. “You probably won’t remember by morning anyway.” His head nodded towards the bottle again. She felt herself beginning to fume from his rudeness. She became enraged and the bitterness of it churned inside her. Perhaps, it was the alcohol that made her suddenly brave or rather stupid but either way she strided over, poking the stranger in his back.
“I don’t know who the fuck you think are but you can’t just talk to me like that!” She exploded. The stranger suddenly dropped his cigarette onto the concert floor smashing it under his boot. He turned and rounded on her slow and menacing like a hunter on to its prey. The girl backed away now fully aware of what she just did and afraid.
The stranger stopped short remaining in the shadows as he glared at her. Her blood drained from her face and her heart hammered erratically in her chest. Finally his eyes met hers in darkness and she saw they were a piercing blue, narrowed, rigid, and cold. The fury inside them burned like hell’s fire. The sight caused the girl to stand frozen in place, her mouth dry as she tried to speak. All her words suddenly caught in her throat. The bottle of vodka hung loosely forgotten between her fingers before accidentally being dropped and shattering messily on the ground. The girl yelps loudly, gaining the attention of a few other guests as she tripped almost toppling over. The man suddenly moved again gripping her arm so she wouldn’t fall but she snatched it back. Struggling to inhale as she stepped away, her foot crunching on the glass
Before anything more could happen the balcony door flew open and Barbra glared at the man in dark. That's when Y/n remembered how to breathe, but was still unable to speak and she watched as Barbra and the man stood each other down and she looked dumbly between the two. Barbra glanced at Y/n and asked, “Are you okay, what happened ?” Y/n was speechless as her and Barbra’s eyes trailed down, looking at the broken bottle and Barbra shot an enraged look at the man again.
“What’d you do?” She bellowed, her brows creased and face tense. Y/n stared at her wide eyed and mouth open. She quickly latched a hand on Barbra’s shoulder turning the girl towards her . “It’s m-my fault, I d-drank too much tonight.” She stuttered. “I think I should go home.”
Barbra looked at her stunned, her eyes filled with worry. “A-are you sure?” She questioned holding Y/n hand. Y/n nodded, pushing passed her going back inside where everyone watched her unsettled and whispered in low murmurs before going back to the party. Y/n felt warm from embarrassment but didn’t stop walking until she reached the front door. Barbra closed the balcony door harshly before moving fast to catch up with her. Y/n walked quick and numbly, her head heavy from drinking. Barbra walked next to her as they both headed downstairs. She shoved herself through the door. Noticing a cluster of motorcycles on the lawn.
“What happened back there? Are sure you’re alright?” Barbra pressed on. “It's nothing, I’m fine.” Y/n brushed her off and shivered as they walled outside back into the bitterly cold streets of Gotham. “Thanks for inviting me, it was good to catch up again.” She sniffed, before she could turn away Barbra developed her in a warm embrace and Y/n closed her eyes savoring it. The two girls gave each other weak smiles as Barbra let her go.
“Hey, Barbra?” Y/n asked. “Why did you react the way you did back there?” Barbra cocked her head oddly surprised. “I thought you were in trouble.” She answered bluntly. “Yeah but I wasn’t.” Y/n blurted. “I’ve never seen you that way before.”
Barbra shrugged. “Well, I’m sorry you had to see me that way at all, he just has a way of getting under my skin ya know?” Y/n raised her eyebrows curiously. “He who?” Before Barbra was able to speak she was interrupted yet again by the entrance door flying open with a loud bang. Y/n and her whip around to two men standing in the doorway. A rugged dark haired man with familiar blue eyes glared at them. Behind him was a red haired hair man who just peered at the two.
The man in front pushed through the door and out into the snow nearly knocking himself in y/n his leather jacket brushes harshly against her. The red haired man follows quickly behind uttering a small sorry. The two leap onto the motorcycles and with the sound of the engine roars loudly making her slightly jump causing her to nearly fall over. Her eyes wide when the blue eyed man gave her a challenging look. She blinked back at him. Standing tensely. He drove away wordlessly with the red haired man on his tail. When Y/n turned around she found Barbra attention transfixed on the two, an unreadable look on her face.
“Barbra?” Y/n called. “Are you alright?”
“That was him.” She only said, still staring in the direction they rode.
“Who?” Y/n asked. Barbra turned to her. “What do you mean who? It was the guy from the balcony.”
Y/n heart stills. “ Which one?”
“The dark haired one ”
“And the other?”
“That was friend Roy.”
Y/n looked after the two as they vanished down the street.
“What’s his name?” Y/n asked almost cautiously, a feeling of dread sinking in her stomach.
“Jason...” Barbara started.
“Jason Todd, The last of the Wayne’s Boys.”
