A bit curious of Nights and Balan's kid.

Any basic info about them?

I have a bunch of stuff about them (and their other kids) if you look through the fankid or wonderkid hashtags on my blog! But since I haven't talked about her for a hot minute, I'll give a refresher!

Ambi (full name: Ambivé Balan Jr) is the firstborn of NiGHTS and Balan, and was created when I had originally drawn a fusion of the two characters and liked it so much I decided to make it into a fankid design! She's very much a perfect blend of both her folks, chaotic and hardy from her Nightmaren side and massively powerful with a flair for theatrics from her Maestro blood.

Figuring out how to parent her in the early years was a wild ride, especially with her being the first documented offspring of a dream demon and a theatre god. She came with hurdles. One week it was creating fire from nowhere, the next it was disappearing through random portals, and then learning that manipulating sound means she could set off airhorns at any time she liked. Two a.m. was her preference for a solid week.

Eventually, Ambi grows into a powerful being and decides to go off on her own and be a travelling Maestro, going to places that's more inaccessible for a large, omnipresent building such as the main Theatre. She works a schedule with Balan, so she's in frequent contact with her folks even after she leaves home.

Her voice claim is also Annapantsu!

Had to psyche myself up to repierce my left upper lobe with a sewing needle because it closed up like a week ago just to find out that despite being able to put an earring in it a few days ago my right upper lobe has also decided to close. I am going to start throwing rocks at people ape style

wahhhh guys i have to rip out like two entire sections on my neckwarmer knitting wip and i was ALMOST DONE 😭😭😭 but its just too fucking talllllll :’( photos before i take it out for posterity. first off a little commotion as it slayssss outside of this error. clap and cheer. but anyways i was working on the final motif which are going to be hearts but i need to go back and take out that entire fourth repeat of leaves even tho i did as many as the pattern calls for!! its just so tall like if i keep going it will be like to my forehead when i finish. not ideal! sorry for the garish censoring but just so u get an idea of how tall it is on my face

also while i was at the zoo i saw these weird Beasts called chacoan peccaries and apparently when they were first discovered in the 1930s they just found fossils and thought they were extinct until they finally found living ones in the 70s. they look like what a kids drawing of a wild hog would look like and i like them very much. they aren't even pigs.
