Well America is doomed 🙏 I genuinely do NOT understand people who voted for a CONVICTED FELON A RAPIST AND A PEDO.
(warning: i'm gonna rant a bit because this has really disappointed me. i'm not surprised, but i am disappointed)
there's still a sliver of hope left in me (copium) for a recount just like last time, which helped biden a lot. plus, there's evidence of a lot of voter suppression, election fraud and interference going on (ballot boxes being burned, mail-in ballots being turned away because of "inability to verify signatures", poll stations closing early, bomb threats, etc.) and all of this coincidentally happening in blue areas only smh, so i'm really hoping that kamala doesn't concede and lets the votes keep counting (because there's still millions left), or at least demand a recount later on
remember, counting doesn't last only a day. it takes days, not a single night. there's still more votes to be counted and incidents to be investigated AND the chance for a recount should kamala ask for one.
this election should be an eye-opener on just how deeply hateful and uneducated a lot of americans are. literally the only people who would ever benefit from a trump reign are rich, white, heterosexual, cisgender men and that EXACT combination only. it doesn't matter if you're a rich black woman, or a broke white man, or a heterosexual poc, etc. if you are not rich AND white AND straight AND cisgender male, you will NOT benefit from him at all.
and yet we had exactly those sort of people voting him in. black women and men of all ages did so good voting blue, but their hard work has been ruined because SO many white women and men, and latinos have voted against their own interests. hell i saw gay couples and trans people proudly voting for trump all over twitter. all because of their own hatred and lack of education because some of them GENUINELY thought trump would make their lives better. they hate everyone and they hate themselves, and they aren't even aware of it. they're so stupid too, they don't understand what's going to happen to them under trump and they don't WANT to
don't even get me started on the jill stein bs. i get it that people genuinely thought that voting for her would save palestine, but she was being endorsed by a member of the KKK and has a running mate who is openly against abortion and trump himself has said that he liked her -- that should've been telling. not only that but she's part of the green party. green parties will never win, their sole purpose is to divide votes and that's exactly what happened in some of the states kamala could've won had it not been for so many people choosing jill stein instead. all those wasted votes could've HELPED US.
right now we've lost the senate and house of representatives, we are becoming a very fascistic country -- even more than we were before. rfk jr -- the man who's wife killed herself because of his rampant cheating scandal, the man who chooses conspiracy theories over science, who promised to ban ALL vaccines (polio, flu, covid, measles, smallpox, etc) -- will soon be in charge of public health (including women's health), the department of education will be targeted even more than before because dumb, uneducated americans are more likely to vote red (a fact which has been proven many many times before -- this very election is also proof of that), palestine and ukraine are in more danger than ever -- trump wants all of palestine wiped out for israel and he wants to remove the US out of NATO so european countries are going to have to do whatever they can to protect ukraine and themselves from russia because putin's not gonna stop at ukraine and israel's not gonna stop with palestine, syria, lebanon, and yemen.
this is a country full of dangerously dumb and cruel people and it's going to impact EVERYONE because america can't keep their claws out of other countries' businesses

not my usual post, but i care enough to speak.
tw: mention of rape.
was never so disappointed in the world ever. the fact that felonies, misogyny, rape, and other things arent deal breakers for the so many of us is insane. you would rather a felon lead you than a woman. a woman who wouldve stuck up for women. a woman who wouldve supported this country. america, you are truly disappointing. the world was in your hands and you let that man win. the only people who dont care are the ones privileged enough not to. women and people of color have to fear for our lives now. what about the girls younger than me?. how are they gonna make it. 2028 is gonna be long from now. day one and im scared for the rest of the world. fuck everyone who is privileged enough to where your vote doesnt affect you. you changed lives. ruined some. youre disgusting. you would much rather a man like him run, because to this world masculinity equals qualified. to the men, what would your mother think? what about your daughter? your sister? your niece? why would you only preach to your benefit. donald j. trump is going to fuck a lot of people over. thats what you want? he gave police immunity. they can shoot and kill if they want. he is taking away rights from minorities. the women. the lgbtq community. your votes are rooted in the patriarchy. he is a violent man. the most important election of our lives. ruined. god bless america right? liberty and justice for all? ive always said it was bullshit. they want you to pledge to idolatry and fuck you over. the united states is under a disgusting rule. were under control. we arent being worked with. we are controlled. congratulations to the people happy. all it means is that youre privileged. enjoy your silver spoon before it rusts. some of us needed kamala as president. this is what so many people fought against. you wouldnt be here without a woman. think of that before you vote. i wish i could change minds. hes going to deport the immigrants who moved here for their kids or future generations to have a better life. you took that from them. you took our choice from us. another shot for america, but throw it to the ground. they can afford for glass to break. we are in debt in unity. not just by finances. i wish we were more of the united nations than the united states. we are united by state but not by nation. good job americana. you won. you conditioned the world to bow to you and now you got your reign. words arent meant to be on a watch list. i wish we could fight more. die for what you believe in people. they wont get it until you do. im a woman of my own. not a woman of america. you guys wont do us right anyway. woke up in fear for myself and the rest of the world. what about the children. you selfish things. your mother would never be proud of you. speak up and speak loud. if you didnt vote, youre the problem. kamala deserved that. you let her run like water through our hands. you lost her. let her slip. now our fate is in cardboard boxes. houses are paper. you know how easy it is to break that? good job. racism, fascism, transphobia, homophobia, xenophobia, idolatry, right wing, white supremacists. men upheld by the social hierarchy. you win. give yourself a pat on the back. i hope you throw up and choke. you can call me a liberal, a snowflake, whatever makes you happy. i know based off of that you run most of society. capitalist fucks. bourgeoisie losers. we fought and you took it away. im gonna keep editing this and i will keep saying every word that comes to mind. do it big and do it loud. fight and scream and dont let them forget. brains on pavement mean nothing to those so high they cant see it. god america you disappoint me. fuck you and your eagles. you and your everything. selfishness. trump hates the rest of the world and the minorities in it. hes the majority. dont let him fool you. thank you.

ok I never thought it would get to this, but I’m gonna say it: I’m not old enough to vote yet, but if I was, I’d vote blue. I’m a centrist at best and some would even consider me to be conservative economically speaking, I think, even though both of them suck, that Harris is a much better candidate. I know some of y’all are skeptical, but let me break it down for you.
The economy: the main reason why so many people think Trump will be better is that the economy was good under Trump and bad under Biden, but studies show that Trump didn’t “make America great again”; rather, he inherited an America that was already great. this study shows that during the last 33 months of the Obama administration, non-farm job growth averaged 224000 per month. During the first 33 months of the Trump administration, it was 34,000 jobs per month less. Moreover, it also shows that during the last two years of the Obama Administration, annual median household income increased by $4800, more than three times the amount under the first two years of Trump. I’m too tired to quote the entire statistic, but if you read the study, you can see that the stock market increased at a greater pace under Obama as well.
Patriotism: Trump has repeatedly made anti-American statements, from his mocking of veterans to his “joke” on 9/11 that now his building was the biggest (a time when the entire country was grieving and shocked). Moreover, Trump has made racist statements against Mexican, Chinese, and Black people; with his father, he has historically discriminated against Black people when renting out buildings. Moreover, I see the claim that he increased funding for historically black colleges get thrown around a lot, but the truth is that the funding actually stayed the same as what Obama gave . The same source also confirms that the record low unemployment for black people under the Trump administration didn’t come because of trump’s policies, and instead only decreased at the same rate at which it had been decreasing before. Lastly, I’d like to talk about Springfield, a town in Ohio which’s economy was weakened due to the decline in manufacturing jobs, but was revived thanks to the Haitian immigrants. With his running mate, JD Vance, Trump spread baseless rumors of Haitian immigrants eating locals’ pets. Trump disrespects all of America, whether it be veterans, minorities, or immigrants, which is why I argue that he’s not the patriot that he claims he is.
Lastly, I’d like to say that I understand why people turned to Trump in 2016 (not talking about the people who voted for him out of bigotry here, I’m talking about people who genuinely thought he was the best for America). Manufacturing and industrial jobs had been lost to other countries, and Trump, with his MAGA campaign, promised to bring back those jobs. I know that Biden, with his incompetency, has made life harder for a lot of you. But you need to ask yourself: does Trump genuinely care about the American people? Because based on the evidence I listed above, I can very confidently assert that no, in fact, he does not. Trump cares about himself, and he’s obsessed with the attention he gets. It’s why Harris was so easily able to goad him during the debate by insulting his rallies: that man is obsessed with gaining an audience, and needs to believe that he is admired and liked. He feeds off of being worshipped. Personally, I say that this is not the type of person I want to represent me or my country. This is not a man I ever would trust to make decisions to benefit everyone.
this was longer than I expected. I’m not claiming I know everything, I’m not even claiming that Harris will be a good president. I could write an entire essay dissecting the flaws in her policy ideas and her candidacy. However, I’d still choose her over the man who ruined America’s history of peaceful transfers of power. I’d still trust her over the man who posts “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT” in all caps like a middle schooler. Then again, maybe that’s just me.

I don't know I just feel like....
We just watched a man self-immolate in his military uniform. And I don't want to sound like an idiot, because it's much more than this but, couldn't you say that was a very extreme form of conscientious objection?
He could not be complicit anymore, but there is literally no way out of being complicit in this genocide if you live in America. For him especially, being trapped in military service. But for all of us. All of us are trapped in complicity in some way, and we can try to counteract that sin with as much meaningful direct action as we can possibly do, but all of that action comes with some proportional level of risk.
So, a man burned himself alive in an extreme form of conscientious objection (the only form available to him - one of great violence)
And people are still on here telling people to suck it up and vote for Biden.
I just... maybe I'm really stupid and I just can't see the logic y'all are putting forward. Because the way you lay it out it all seems to make so much sense to you. I understand we're trapped in a two party system. I understand the Republicans don't have the same consciences we do and are gonna vote en masse for Trump. I understand Trump is a danger globally and domestically. I understand all that, and I don't want his second term to come to pass. I'm not ignorant of how dangerous he is.
But a man self-immolated to object to the system of complicity he's trapped in, and the most logical response y'all have to a bunch of people wanting to opt out of complicity in this election, and the next four years of horrors that will be done in their name is to tell them, you just have to suck it up and be complicit. Your only tool is to make a phone call. You can try to protest, but there's a non-zero chance you'll be beaten and arrested and have your life ruined, by the way. You can donate to try and put a bandaid on the horrors you're seeing through your phone screen everyday (and you should, but God it's sure not stopping anything). But you're not allowed to object to being complicit in the selection of the Genocider-In-Chief.
It's not going to stop the genocide. We know this. It's not going to stop the election. We know this. It's not going to change anything directly, and Trump is going to get elected (which he will either way. most people who would vote against him are doing it anyway, y'all are fighting a very very small online minority).
But a man self-immolated in his military uniform. He didn't think that act was going to directly stop aid from going to Israel, or stop the genocide, or destroy the US military industrial complex. He didn't think his one small (but extremely brave and impactful) act was going to solve everything. Everything that was going to happen is still going to happen just with one less man in uniform.
But it wasn't nothing. It didn't do nothing. It's not his fault that the military will keep on chugging. It's not his fault that things are getting worse in Gaza every day. But he's not complicit anymore and he sent a message. And he had to die to achieve that.
And y'all are telling us we can't even do the very small act of not being complicit in the presidency. It's a less effective act of protest, but I also don't have to die for it.
It's not a boycott (I've seen this strawman, i don't know why you think we think that). It's not going to "send a message to the government" (obviously, we're not ignorant). It's to the Party that runs these candidates, and makes money off of "pick us because we're not the other guy" then commits crimes against humanity. I don't want to roll over and be fucking complicit in that.
Parties and candidates look at those numbers. they see how many people voted for them last time and how many people this time.
They don't care about our voices, and our protests, and our emails. They care about donations, and they care about votes. That's it. That's all they look at. If the emails and the phone calls and the protests don't result in a drop in one of those two things, they don't fucking care.
I don't know. This is a long ass ramble, but I'm trying to work out my feelings about this. Because we can't opt out of paying taxes, we can't really opt out of the benefits of living and being born in the Global North, we can't opt out of work, we can't opt out of the military, we can't opt out of following the law without extreme violence being brought against us. We can't do a whole fucking lot besides call, email, donate, and protest in a way that doesn't get us beaten and arrested, and if you do get beaten and arrested, you'll be dealing with the legal consequences for years or potentially the rest of your life.
And a man burned himself to death to object but I can't withhold my vote???

For Josh Crockett's first Heritage Day chapel, he helps the audience's insomnia with a conversation between Bob Jones III and Stephen Jones.
Bob can't help himself, however, in repeating a typical Trump-talking-point insulting Kamala Harris's intelligence.
Stephen looks a little embarrassed. Josh adores it!
The Anti-Defamation League points out that these kinds of insults are typical among white male supremacists -- a kind of glue that binds them all together.
And Trump himself never fails to hurl some kind of insult at any woman who dares to act:
On Vice President Kamala Harris "She is slow and lethargic in answering even the easiest of questions." [October 13, 2024] "Lyin' Kamala, who is being exposed as a 'dummy' every time she does a show." [October 8, 2024] "Kamala is mentally impaired." [September 29, 2024] "Retarded." [September 29, 2024] "They put her in, and she somehow — a woman — somehow she's doing better than [President Joe Biden] did." [September 18, 2024] "She's a Marxist. Everybody knows she's a Marxist." [September 10, 2024] "I am much better looking than Kamala Harris." [August 17, 2024] "She was a bum three weeks ago. She was a bum. A failed vice president in a failed administration." [July 27, 2024] "She's so bad. She's so pathetic. She's so fu*king bad" [July 3, 2024] "I see the same basic level of competence as [President Joe Biden]. I would define her in a very similar matter that I define him" [July 9, 2024] "If [Biden] had picked someone even halfway competent they would have bounced him from office years ago, but they can't because she's gonna be their second choice" [July 9, 2024] "This monster that was onstage with Mike Pence, who destroyed her last night, by the way. I thought that wasn't even a contest last night. She was terrible. I don't think you could get worse. And totally unlikeable" [Oct. 8, 2020] "You know what, people don't like her. Nobody likes her. She could never be the first woman president. She could never be. That would be an insult to our country." [Sept. 8, 2020] "Very, very nasty … the meanest, the most horrible, most disrespectful of anybody in the U.S. Senate." [Aug. 11, 2020] On 2024 presidential candidate and GOP nomination rival Nikki Haley "Nimbra doesn't have what it takes" [Jan. 19, 2024] "Birdbrain doesn't have the TALENT or TEMPERAMENT to do the job" [Sept. 29, 2023] On former Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao "[GOP Senate Leader Mitch McConnell's] China loving wife, Coco Chao!" [Sept. 30, 2022] On "The View" co-host Sunny Hostin "That is one dumb woman. Sorry. I'm sorry, women, she's a dummy." [October 9, 2024] On Casey DeSantis, wife of 2024 presidential candidate and GOP nomination rival Ron DeSantis "I know more about him than anybody other than perhaps his wife, who is really running his campaign" [Nov. 8, 2022] On House Speaker Emerita Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Cali) "She's turned on him like a dog. She's as crazy as a bed bug" [July 20, 2024] "We'll stand up to crazy Nancy Pelosi, who ruined San Francisco — how's her husband doing, anybody know?" [September 29, 2023] On Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez "This is not even a smart person, other than she's got a good line of stuff. I mean, she goes out and she yaps." [Aug. 14, 2020] On the #MeToo movement "It is a very scary time for young men in America, where you can be guilty of something you may not be guilty of. … Women are doing great." [Oct. 2, 2018] "You've got to deny, deny, deny and push back on these women. If you admit to anything and any culpability, then you're dead. … You've got to be strong. You've got to be aggressive. You've got to push back hard. You've got to deny anything that's said about you. Never admit." [Via Bob Woodward's Fear: Trump in the White House] On Omarosa Manigault Newman "A crazed, crying lowlife" and a "dog." [Aug. 14, 2018] On Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters "An extraordinarily low IQ person." [June 25, 2018] On Mika Brzezinski "I heard poorly rated @Morning_Joe speaks badly of me (don't watch anymore). Then how come low I.Q. Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe, came to Mar-a-Lago 3 nights in a row around New Year's Eve, and insisted on joining me. She was bleeding badly from a face-lift. I said no!" [June 29, 2017] On Hillary Clinton "Such a nasty woman." [Oct. 19, 2016] "If she were a man, I don't think she'd get 5 percent of the vote." [April 26, 2016] "If Hillary Clinton can't satisfy her husband, what makes her think she can satisfy America?" [April 16, 2015]
The list goes on.
This is the Heritage on full display at Bob Jones University in 2024.

Avengers: Endgame - Hulk Smash (open matte)
Add about 27 seconds. Exactly on the film about 1/2 second later, you can see Captain America and the Hulk standing right next to each other. If you know what the height of Chris Evans is normally, you can easily figure out how tall. The Hulk is here. He's a big boy and it is a different person's body that he's in And he usually does not get that big at. all. he can't. He has a lot of trouble doing it and takes him awhile. Take some weeks. Believe it or not, he says he keeps doing it. He's not. Now he's not inside our son's body and you can. tell the risk. are too big and the hands are too big. And. You can also tell. because his face is nasty, but really it's more so the body because the face changes into his. Our son's features are different, however., Captain America in this movie film is what he usually is because they get tired and it wears him down. Whether it's a real thing or not. And here it's a real thing.. He is usually found to be about 5 foot 6. to 5 foot 7. And you look at the Hulk. and he is Only about 8 inches taller And that is not that tall. People say it's more, but it's not. His head is not really that big. which would make him. 6 foot 3. which is what we said. Our son would be late looking like except this physique is a little different. His legs would be shorter like this and his traps will be huge and arms would be huge. And if you freeze it at 27 seconds, you can. see that he is a very big boy and you can't even tell until he's standing right next to Captain America. who's in shape and has biceps that are about 15. and a half inches sometime. Our son has 15 1/2 It's not small but this guy's arms are probably 27 inches around roughly And that's what he's going to be now. in the end of October, he'll start to fill out and it'll have around 17 1/2 inch biceps at the smallest and he's pretty big at that size, but not really impressive. except for around here. And he will grow sometime in December. The end of December, he'll have around 19 inch biceps. So you can see there's quite a way is to go and quite a ways up, but only at 6 foot 3 which is really how tall William Pierce was quite often. He was 6 foot 4 And it's true. And he looked like a giant and this guy looks like a giant. And I tell you, it's a lot of fun because he's gonna be much bigger than you. And just 6 foot 3 and Stefan does it, and he looks like a goof and a dork in a meaningless idiot. And he's just screwing around with everybody. We're looking forward to this, and he's looking forward to it. And it is important And we are going to point it out more often. And the fact he's trying to imitate him, which our son says I can hardly tell it all, and I. don't know who would even see that. So that's what we're talking about, but we are bringing it up on purpose because he is going to start growing and filling out and Probably about 7 or eight months from now, will look like this at. about 6 foot 2 and people will be impressed, but his biceps won't be that big or traps. That's more like 6 foot 3 or 6 foot 4 and his his biceps would be a little bit bigger. Believe it or not, and no, no, they won't.

why are they bad?
(a post about trumps possible second term plans, from an lgbtq= afab 18 year old living in america, who is terrified for her life in the next year)
ending gay marriage = splits families apart. forces many couples to lose eachother after already facing so many hardships for just how they were born into this world. could force so many parents to become single parents. could possibly quickly lead into children of these queer or same sex parents being taken away and being forced into foster care, which could be heavily traumatic and cause a mental downpour for them. we would probably be having to resort back to methods from like the 1920’s or something just to feel joy with those we love! nobody should suffer that!
remove sexual orientation and gender identity from non-discrimination policies = directly turns neutral laws to shoot directly at queer and lgbtq people. this is just turning already existing policies written for all citizens to go specifically to harming lgbtq citizens. no human should be targeted just for choosing to live somewhere! we deserve to feel safe in the society we choose to settle down in!
ban + remove trans troops from military = you can easily joke this off as “oh hah well we don’t wanna go into the military anyway!” but this is something that could go from small into a large snowball. it’s a small act of discrimination, in some peoples eyes, but can ultimately ruin people in the long run. and although i personally don’t really like how my country handles military budgeting, some people really do want to strive to become a soldier and protect those in their state! we all deserve to fulfill our dreams!
ban trans healthcare for kids = will 100% cause trans kid suicide rates to go up. this ban will force trans kids to live in a body they hate to look at or even feel. some people have dysphoria so bad- ESPECIALLY during puberty- that they can’t even look at their bodies. could you imagine being forced to live like that? it never ends well.
outlaw pornography = porn is a natural thing that humans want, because it’s an easy way to fill that sexual desire we have. it is not wrong or dirty. outlawing it will also lead to people losing their jobs. imagine what’s going to happen to all the pornstars! they’re gonna get fucked, and not in the fun way!
imprison people who create pornography = just having a job that hurts nobody around you will imprison you, just because some people can’t learn to just not look at it, and decide it’s a widespread evil that needs to be demolished.
register educators and librarians who offer pornography as sex offenders = porn is something that can actually be suggested to you to learn what you like, how to satisfy your partner, what your partner likes, etc! this law would be ass backwards, anyways, as i imagine these educators are not offering it to get off to your uncomfortability hearing about it. you can just say no and they go well okay that’s alright. it’s apart of their job to help and educate you! don’t go and offer pornographic content to a little kid, yeah, but grown adults who pay for the service to actively learn these things, like sex therapists? yeah, that’s fine! it’s not wrong, it’s just apart of learning! i cant word this well but yknow?
apart of this would also be banning “transgender ideology”, as project 2025 considers it pornography. just think about that for a moment and process how dumb it is. wanting to feel safe and comfortable in your own body, and taking the measures to not want to feel like wanting to kill yourself every morning when you open your eyes, with the consent of your parents or you yourself as an adult, with several other adults who are doctors and therapists and the like- all of this, the simple idea, being counted as pornography. is this gets passed off, trans kids are doomed.
national abortion ban = if this law is passed, women are DOOMED. children going through early puberty and getting early periods, blooming early, etc can get raped and be forced to go through with the traumatic experience of giving birth to another child. process that. read it again. a child giving birth to another child. this is the life that project 2025 writers want to excuse and live by, and it’s fucking disgusting. all for some clumps of cells that aren’t even alive nor conscious??
limit access to contraception, such as the plan B pill, in an effort to end recreational sex = no more sex for fun! sorry! abide by our christian laws being forced upon you or get jailed for wanting to enjoy your life however you want. isn’t this sort of thing illegal? shouldn’t it be?? forcing your religion into laws that effect an entire country population should be illegal if it isn’t already. your job is to protect the people, not protect your beliefs and forcing random citizens to abide to it. if you have sex in any way, with this law passed, you’ll constantly be at risk of being forced to have a child and bring it into this world. teenagers will be forced to bring children into this world.
public health clinics must emphasize the importance of heterosexual marriage = marriage is not the business of a health clinic. what does personal information about your sexuality have to do with health? it’s just another law to enforce your beliefs onto random people who just didn’t ask.
repeal any programs that support single mothers or lgbtq parents + as per the bible, the only legally recognized families are those with a husband, wife, and biological children = single mothers and same sex or nonbinary, etc, parents will have no support because they don’t match a random group of peoples view of a “””proper””” family structure. even straight single mothers won’t be helped, because they don’t have a husband. they don’t deserve help just because they’re on their own? what does this mean for single fathers? will they still get help because they’re males and not, i presume, silly, foolish women?
increased prescription drug prices = work harder if you want to get any help for your pain! body pains, mental pains, unwanted thoughts, impulsive thoughts, disorders, hallucinations- you’ll just have to find a way to work harder if you want the right to help yourself and live an easy life! what a load of bullshit. i’m not hiding my rage anymore, this is just fucking evil.
social media control = locking down social media for young kids makes it so they lose that safe space they have away from their possibly abusive parents, families, grandparents, etc. away from their possibly shitty life. and it locks away the ability for them to connect with a community of those similar to them! it locks them away from creating any friends, or getting help, or finding a way out! this also locks away information easily accessible to them, such as explanations for why they’re a certain way, or why their familys treatment towards them or others like their siblings is horrible. and at the end of the day, if it were truly about making children’s lives better, they wouldn’t be doing this when a genocide is happening across the world.
eliminate the department of education = this should terrify you. this should make you afraid for what they’re going to teach your kids or your younger siblings in school- from kindergarten, elementary, middle, and so on! kids are easily impressionable. especially at a young age. eliminating the department of education means there will be an easier influence over what is “correctly” taught and what is deemed “wrong” for children to learn. this could even cover up past events, like world wars or slavery, if you really wanted to get crazy with it.
create a “parents bill or rights” = an idea that is equally scary. parents limiting what their children get to learn about is horrifying. science could get completely thrown out the window, in some parts. children wouldn’t learn about some parts or large chunks of history. this bill would disrupt children’s learning and make everything confusing in the long run. other effects of this bill are also listed in the original post.
end funding for any school offering diversity or lgbtq youth programs = imagine just wanting your students to feel safe in your school and have a place where they can truly connects with others- and your school gets shut down for it from lack of funding. it’s gross.
ban education or race, gender, and slavery = oh, look at that, my suspicions were right. they really are trying to put the whites on top. how lovely (/s). watch out kids! if you’re not straight, cis, white, or a man, america will fuck you over! the history of black people will also be erased, and a large chunk of children won’t know it ever happened! that’s bad! we need to know our past to fix out future!
end free school lunches = starves poor or homeless kids who don’t have the money to eat at school. some kids look forward to school lunch because it’s the only time of day they get a good meal, and taking that away is practically telling them to starve for something out of their control.
infuse public education with christianity = your religion! is your religion! let others! do their own! thing! that’s not very love thy neighbor of you!
consolidate the power of the president by firing thousands of apolitical federal employees (scientists, engineers), and reclassifying them with political appointees. = having an echo chamber of your own opinions while being this high in power is just a show of your own ego, and that you refuse to listen to anyone but those who trust you. it’s a horrible way to think, and knowing a man like this is someone people look up to scares me deeply.
end separation between the department of justice and the white house = your trial will be at the hands of the president instead of a separate, lone jury. this is not good. i cant put it into words, myself, but the original posts does it well.
use national military to break up protests = imagine using soldiers who’ve ended entire wars to break up a fight between two group of people on the street. this feels more like a fear-fest than to actually protect the people. if military is involved, it’ll scare more people into possibly not protesting. protesting is a given right, and is a valid way to voice your concerns to those in charge!
i don’t have the energy to go entirely over the climate change section. so heres a one take on it.
climate advisors replaced with fossil fuel lobbyists + cut environmental protection agency + discard peer reviewed research and privatize polluter profits + end of regulations on the fossil fuel industry, restrictions on drilling, renewable energy programs, and regulations on greenhouse gas emissions = this all means that instead of keeping people wanting to save the earth, they’ll be replaced with people who’d rather destroy their only planet for money.

Had a few drinks instead of doing homework and got mad
Look, I know that the government can do more than one thing at a time. But the fact of the matter is that while our Covid situation right now is better than it used to be, it is still a godawful mess, it is still embarrassing, it is still keeping us from living our lives. Millions of Americans are still living with the financial ruin this pandemic brought. And the Biden administration, who promised immediate $2,000 checks out the door, then tried to squirm out from under it calling Trump's $600 check a "down payment," hemmed and hawed about paying out $1400, and after the impeachment has had nothing to say about it. It’s over, apparently.
No, now the pressing issue is gun control. GUN CONTROL? Joe, this country is facing existential threats. We have been ravaged by a pandemic that, as of this writing, has killed 485,000 Americans and rendered millions of us sick and/or penniless while you and your friends at Wall Street have been making money hand over fist from the safety of your second or third homes. On top of that, we also have a media environment where the truth doesn't matter and angry American fascism has been on the rise to the point that, lest we forget, thousands of them broke into the Capitol looking to capture and kill congress people they didn't like.
You know. Your friends and colleagues. That's who they came for, Joe. Mitt Romney ran for his life. They were chanting "hang Mike Pence." What the hell do you think they would do to YOU!?
Joe, there are more guns in private hands in America than there are Americans. You are not going to solve these problems by making guns more difficult or costly to own. You all have been trying that since the 1930s and it has never worked, it has only served to disarm the marginalized and vulnerable.
The older, establishment democrats like Biden are complacent. They do not understand that this country is staring down the barrel of a civil war. If you ask some people, that war already started. If it has, then US lost the opening battle. Or have we already forgotten the Confederate flag proudly flown in the Capitol? The QAnon Shaman triumphantly telling a reporter "we won the day"?
We don't have time to "build back better," which is a buzzword version of "pretend everything is normal and eventually it will be." Things are NOT normal and pretending that they are will only make things worse. But you know what? In the spirit of compromise, I'll ignore the fascist insurrection, and simply deal with the fantasy of a mostly-normal America except for that pesky pandemic.
You're gonna get fucking rinsed in 2022, Democrats. Biden's looking to be a one-term president, too. And this head-in-the-sand behavior is exactly why.
You know what Americans are gonna notice? That Trump got them $1800. You know how much Biden has gotten them? $0. They're still desperate. The American people chose Biden because they were promised relief. And that relief isn't coming.
Because Biden wants to water his promised $2,000 down to $1,400. And he wants to means-test it. He basically wants to ensure that nobody gets any part of the relief he promised. And policy-wise, the sole difference between him and the pandemic is that feds have to wear masks. The "issue no guidance and hope for vaccines and herd immunity to just fix everything" policy still lives on.
Yeah, Trump's stimulus checks amount to making chicken feed last for most of a year, but at least we got chicken feed. We haven't even got pocket lint from Democrats. I'm looking at you, Joe. You're the face of this now. This is what you signed up for.
And now, just after the Democrats have proven beyond a reasonable doubt that they are incapable of securing our democracy and holding its enemies accountable, they decide the big issue they need to take on is our fucking guns. Unbelievable.

Let’s rant about bigotry in media and fake allies.
.Look. I get it. You want to believe that your cartoons, media and celebs are completely perfect darlings that can do no wrong, but let me be frank. I don’t care how much you don’t want to talk about it. I care about the creators who keep inviting the discourse their way through their idiocy. Whenever a creator gets in trouble for doing shit like making jokes about slave hats on a live stream, or including a blackface caricature in an art book, or killing off their gays the very episode they come out or are introduced, there’s always a subset of people who say shit like, “it was a mistake, they didn’t mean it. It kinda gives us as a leftist community a bad name when we keep attacking each other like this”.
Let’s dismantle that. And let’s break this down in three basic points I’ll use throughout. 1. It is not your place to accept an apology that was not for you, especially when in regards to racism, sexism, anti-LGBTA+ bigotry, and anti-semitism. 2. We need to stop lumping in actual criticism with alt-right idiots being shitty about marginalized groups existing, because ultimately, infighting is not the end of the world, and disagreements are not inherently bad. They are a fact of life. 3.  Most importantly of all, just because these people claim to be allies, that does not mean that they are. Because make no mistake. CARTOONS ARE NOT ANY LESS EFFECTED BY THE BIASES OF THE ENVIRONMENTS WHICH PRODUCED THEM THAN ANY OTHER WORK OF ART.
Now. Let’s break down that shit completely.
1. I used those examples as a jumping-off point, but in general, this shit always happens. A creator fucks up, they get criticism which was unquestionably earned, they get rightfully dragged, and the creator uses the backlash to garner sympathy from their audiences and paint their critics in a bad light and whine about Cancel Culture. NOW, I already talked about that in another post, but basically, it doesn’t exist, and is used as a weaponized shield from criticism.
Thing about all of that as well is when the creators keep bringing up how they didn’t mean it like that. Most people would answer this with, “doesn’t matter, what matters is what you did”, but there’s something else that people don’t talk about. This is usually a bunch of white people excusing this shit. Or otherwise, a bunch of people who weren’t actually affected by the latest controversy. And therein lies the rub. Allies, let me put it this way. WHEN THE SUBJECT OF THE CRITICISM IS ABOUT THE PORTRAYAL OF MINORITIES IN MEDIA, YOU ARE IN NO POSITION TO EXPECT SAID MINORITIES TO FORGIVE THOSE CREATORS WHEN YOU WERE NOT AFFECTED BY IT.
Remember the Lana Del Rey controversy, where her dumbass ended up getting shit for her statement filled with venom towards other artists? Could have been cleared up if she had just accepted that she messed up and didn’t word her statement correctly, but no. She lashed out at the people who told her it was kinda racist to lump a bunch of black female artists into a conglomerate of artists who just, “twerk, cheat, have sex, and get money”, and dismissing feminism as needing to accommodate women “like her, who were more delicate”, perpetuating inadvertently to the idea that black women are less delicate, white women are petite, demure, and need to have a place above the others. AND LOOK, it’s how she responded that sealed it. Accusing her critics of being the actual racists, who hate women, and conflating the criticism with.....ugh....a FUCKING RACE WAR. Do I EVEN need to explain the problem with that?
The point is that it was idiotic of her to assume that she didn’t deserve the criticism because she “technically didn’t mean it”, when ultimately, she wasn’t the victim, she wasn’t the one who ACTUALLY got hurt by all of this, and that most of the criticism WAS NOT ANYWHERE NEAR as vitriolic as Lana accused it of being. And people do this to minorities all the fucking time. Where the praise for the work is what matters, but then they’re just upset and looking to be upset about things when they....sorry, when WE have shit to say about the fuckups. Constantly, minorities are expected to praise bare minimum bullshit lest we have self proclaimed “””””allies””””” get pissy that we aren’t playing along. Well, sorry, but, I think it be time to stop with that shit. It doesn’t matter how pure you think that person is. If the people who are the actual part of the controversy have shit to say about it, MAYBE LISTEN TO THEM instead of trying to force people to accept the apology that wasn’t even yours to accept, nor was it for you to shove in our faces to shut us up. And if you dislike that I’m saying that, just know. That’s exactly what you’re doing when you pull that shit.
2. As simply as I can put it, complaining about how a trans person is portrayed badly is not the same as complaining ABOUT the presence of a trans person, and to lump that shit onto the other pile is dishonest and willfully ignorant. When we keep getting upset about the tone, or upset about, “WAAAH, they said a me-no-like”, and lump that in with the actual facists looking to erase us from the history books, we are doing half of their job for them, and normalizing shit like what I saw the other day, where on Twitter, some asshole complained, “Anime is supposed to be an escape from reality. Adding black people to it kinda ruins the point.”
I’m gonna talk about it in the next point, but for now, understand this. NO ONE says shit like that just out of the blue without having it come from somewhere, and that attitude is all too prevalent.
In cartoons especially, criticism of the NB lizard from She-Ra is not being bigoted towards non-binary people, because the use of a fucking lizard to portray them is the ACTUALLY bigoted thing. And to lump in criticism of that with the criticism of She-Ra not being conventionally attractive enough for men to masturbate to the fucking minor is only going to long-term HARM any discourse. Because having these conversations as well as discussing these issues and educating each other about them is how we AVOID THEM. Criticism is not just a vector for asshole conservatives to be pissy about your existence. It’s also a veritable TREASURE TROVE for how not to fuck your shit up. And when we all get it, we learn. I get it, you don’t want to do shit wrong, but when you do, as everyone will, the backlash will burn itself out, and once you’ve fixed it, people will be very forgiving. Because, and it’s gonna sound mean....THAT’S HOW AUDIENCES WORK. THEY WANT TO FORGIVE YOU FOR WHEN YOU DO SHIT WRONG. So just...fix it. And listen. Yeah, you’ll get called stupid, you’ll get called “moron”, but you will have saved yourself from getting that shit ten times worse later on down the line. BEAR IN MIND, THOUGH, any of you already typing about how that’s enabling cyberbullying under the guise of critique, IT’S NOT. There’s a wealth of difference between the two, and trying to distract from the point with that is just a red herring. So stop with that.
And now....for the biggest one of all.
3. See...here’s the thing. About that anime douche. That doesn’t happen in JUST anime. It’s been around for decades, and has been a thing to this day. The WoW community got upset about womz being in power for the past 15 years, and have gotten on their high horse about black people being in the game, stating that if they were around sooner, maybe it wouldn’t, “SEEM TOO POLITICAL”, with that Asmongold jackass trying to start a second wave of GamerGate because one of the people at Blizzard said, “Black Lives Matter”. Fantasy as a genre has been so rooted in racism, that the inclusion of goblins for the most part is synonymous with anti-semitism towards Jewish people. Captain Marvel was pilloried for the past two years because the mean lady said that shit needs to change and wasn’t too nice, and also, me don’t like her too much. Basically, tone policing over a personality that we still give Howard Stern a platform for. In cartoons, the inclusion of black people is seen as an inherently political opinion. The rumors of Gen 6 Apple Jack possibly having a black voice actress prompted comments such as:
“The thiing with AJ is clearly anti-white/conservatist as a response to Trump America. What is opposite of country redneck female? Of course, and urban black woman.”
“It’s the fact that she’s black that bothers me.”
“Killing a blonde freckled Southern character for some political agenda is the last thing I want to see.”
The news of Velma Dinkley being gay was immediately pounced upon with shit about a homosexual agenda, and constant bullshit about how it was so forced, or whatever. This shit always happens, and is gonna keep happening. You know why?
Because the entertainment industry is not ready to accept minorities. The games industry is not ready to accept minorities. Cartoons are still not ready to accept minorities. They accept them for a moment, until those minorities challenge someone’s ego. Fans embrace a character until they’re a woman, or a POC, or on the spectrum, or LGBTA+. The existence of us is denigrating to these idiots’ escape, not from reality, but from us. It’s bad enough that they have to put up with us in the real world, but even worse that they have to see us in fictional shows that aren’t real.’ Us merely BEING AROUND is a bad thing, and to ask for some improvements is met with bemoaning about agendas.
Supposed allies begin and end their support with how much money we put in their wallets and how much we stroke their egos about how woke they are, and actual allies are lumped in with actual offenders. If we get upset that a show they’ve posited as so enlightening is actually the utter pits and not in any way healthy, they get upset. Tell a Reylo they’re shipping something toxic and dangerous, they’ll get upset and yell racial slurs at John Boyega for sitting next to Daisy Ridley. Say, “Fuck Arthas”, people get upset jump down your throat about how you hate forgiveness. Tell people that the Grinch ought not to be forgiven, people get upset you’re strawmaned about how you hate forgiveness.
They just don’t understand, or care about the essential fact about all of this. As I said earlier. The environments which produce the worst of offenders in these fields, and the problems we hate seeing so much are in no way less affected by the biases that they were cultivated by. And media has never been any more ready to accept minorities as people and as worthy of being portrayed as people than literally anywhere else right now. And speaking up about that is what gets these fake allies mad, especially when they LIKE the media. What makes these people so mad is not the troubling portrayal of POC, or women, or minorities. Not that we are routinely ostracized for existing in cartoons, not that this shit happens at all. They don’t give a flying fuck about any of that. It’s the thing that they have to put up with as a result of that that makes them the most upset.
Criticism. And they don’t like that.
And no matter whether or not these cartoons are made by bootlickers, or this movie was made by a TERF,  or if this creator has a history of blackface, racism, or has made garbage statements about women, if you aren’t nice and considerate enough towards their feelings, you’ll make them, and us, the allies, feel uncomfortable. NO DWAMA, just not too divisive feedback that’s ultimately worthless as it was made purely to try to appease idiots and the people most affected by these issues at the same time, meaning it had to be watered down past the point of no return in order for us to factor it in with our jaded mindsets and worldviews that are the direct cause of the problems we complain about, yet keep exacerbating through our ignorance and unwillingness to change.
If you aren’t like that, and don’t believe you should be lumped in with that, don’t behave as if you are that sort of person. But, even then, if you aren’t...listen to the actual experts. Stop listening to some white guy’s idiotic hot takes about black rep, and actually listen to black people. Listen to trans people instead of some cis white chick with no understanding of trans issues. Stop platforming the worst of offenders within these communities as the bestest ever. And most importantly....
remember that horses don’t exist.

Album Review: Short Sighted People In Power: A Home Recording- My Politic
I am hungover. Not like...in the sit down in the shower way, though. I am writing this just days after watching the hopeless horror show that was our first Presidential debate of 2020, and just a few hours after watching the Vice-Presidential Debate. I am emotionally dehydrated. Thankfully, My Politic’s latest effort, “Short Sighted People In Power: A Home Recording '' is serving as my intellectual Pedialyte. This raw, unfussy collection of songs wades through the View-Master of the current American consciousness and I think it’s safe to say that most people feel concussed in two very different ways right now. The point of Kaston Guffey and Nick Pankey’s latest release is not to convince the listener of anything, but rather to put antiquated and learned ways of thinking next to facts and have them duke it out. It takes the overused rebuttal of “yA gOtTa sEe iT fRoM bOtH SidEs” to its most literal level and, well, it is as uncomfortable as it should be.
The title track puts music to all the things that bounce around in your head before you lift your head off the pillow. “Short Sighted People In Power” morosely lists the “bigger than me” bullet points of anxiety that coyly creep over one’s shoulder; all those annoying flashbulb headlines that run on a constant loop in the ticker of your brain.  No matter who you are, those weary inner voices are louder now more than ever. Earth’s environmental ticking clock, the ageless, nationwide opioid crisis, the pockets that have been stuffed because of it, and, ultimately, the devastating wake of greed are all on display here. It’s a blunt brick to the head. Am I supposed to feel hope or the lack of it from the line “It’s gonna take every one of us to get what we want”? I haven’t decided yet.
One of the most compelling things about this album is that it plays like a conversation at the dinner table. It’s Thanksgiving. There you are, surrounded by your family and all the strings that both bind and divide you. You and your cousin in the “Feel the Bern” shirt keep exchanging glances at each other as the temperature of the room rises. If the previous track was the hushed, corner mouthed conversation you had with each other before dinner, “Wrong Side” is the one shouted from across the table at a horrified Grandpa Rick and drunk Aunt Sharon. It’s a hailstorm of a chorus that cries, “Fuck the President. Fuck the GOP. Fuck the folks at Fox News spreading lies on TV. Fuck you for getting us into this and refusing to see. It ain’t no side. It’s one side. It’s your side and it’s the wrong side.” The rotating solo at the end of the track perfectly encapsulates the cyclical nature of conversations like this. It’s hard not to feel like a hamster in a wheel of our collective frustration right now. Nothing seems to ever get done, but we are worn the fuck out.
As the conversation continues, Rick and Sharon get their time, too. Told from the perspective of someone who prefers their hats red and their presidents orange, “Fantasies of a Fox News Viewer” is perhaps the rawest and most uncomfortable song on the entire album. It’s every baseless argument you’ve ever heard in all its glory, lacking all logic and overstuffed with emotion. Xenophobia, white nationalism, homophobia, blind Biblical trust, and just straight up, cold-blooded fear are Pollacked all over the dinner table and you’ve completely lost your appetite. (Whew. I really need to get out from under this Thanksgiving metaphor, folks). The thing that struck me the most about this song was my inability to stop my head from bobbing to its anthemic chorus. It proudly chugs along and would pair very nicely with a drink of choice being held high above my head. I don’t even recognize what I’m saying when I sing to myself, “Yeah, I miss America the way it used to be. When I turned on my TV all I saw was people just like me.” I stop singing for fear that my neighbor or my dog may think that I *actually* believe the words I’m saying. But, isn’t that so indicative of how the web gets spun so easily? When information gets dressed in the gown of performative politics, reality distorts. Sarcasm is lost, truth is lost, context is a bug to squish and you’ve decided how you feel about something based solely on how someone else is telling you to.
As the funhouse mirror stretches on, “Voter Suppression” welcomes us deeper into the Conservative Carnival. The whispered countdown ushering in the listener sounds as if the narrator is hatching a plot. It’s both sinister and tantalizing, two classic ingredients for manipulation pie. This song could be invited to hang out with the satirical company of South Park and Saturday Night Live (on its good nights) and more than hold its own. I can’t help but picture Trump, McConnell, Pence, and Barr in little ill-fitting barbershop quartet outfits, cigars flopping out of their mouths, singing this while bouncing around a fake saloon in the middle of Silver Dollar City. However, “Voter Suppression” doesn’t lean on cartoonish exaggerations of the truth to get its message across. One person’s satire can very easily be taken as another person’s doctrine. After all, the best and smartest comedy is rooted in life’s uncomfortable truths.
I think we can all agree that the one constant of this year has been the unveiling of a lot of those aforementioned uncomfortable truths. In “All American Way”, the narrator, in two minutes, lists over thirty examples of absurd and very real reasons why Black people have been targeted by the police. The track opens with, “Can’t go jogging. Can’t go walking. Can’t watch TV in their own fffffuckin’ apartment.” (That isn’t a typo. Listen to it and you’ll see what I mean). Each verse is more hurried and breathless than the last and you can practically smell the smoke coming from the pencil marks on the paper when it was written. As each example rolls on, a new name scrolls across your mind’s eye. “Can’t get caught with a broken tail light (Sandra Bland). “Can’t get caught selling loose cigarettes” (Eric Garner) “Can’t get caught playing with toys” (Tamir Rice). Then, we turn to the names we wish we never learned at all and ones I refuse to type here. “They can shoot up Black churches. They can shoot up the schools… White folks can shoot ‘till they’re blue in the face and you can bet they’ll walk away. It’s the All American way.” That last line is sung like a salute. Hand over heart, chin in the air, hat off the head. And most likely, someone out there doesn’t understand why that’s disturbing.
Track 6,  “The Experts Told Us”, sounds like how we all felt about a month or two into quarantine, or as the song says, “when we traded hope for darkness.” Knowing what we do now about the president’s negligent withholding of information about COVID-19 and the impact it was going to have on every aspect of American life, this song sits heavy on the mind and heavy on the chest. “The experts told us. The science showed us. But the ego of the POTUS was too big to fight off again.” The sleepy harmonica woven through the last half of it is forlorn and exhausted. It sighs in and out at the bleakness of it all like it’s sitting in the driveway with the engine off; at the house, but far from home.
The wit of Prine, the gusto of Cash, the fire of Guthrie, among others, are peppered seamlessly throughout this album.  But make no mistake; My Politic’s voice is all their own. Nowhere is that more evident than on the closing track, “Talkin’ RNC Blues.” Here, the listener is taken on an anxiety and alcohol-induced fever dream that plops the narrator right in the middle of this year’s Republican National Convention. It plays like a comic book; vivid and distorted. I wish I could hear this for the first time again so I won’t ruin anything for you, but be prepared for some well timed laughs to lift you out of the funk, even for just a moment.
Through the inexplicable fog, we forge on to another day of 2020. But we shouldn’t keep acting like this is some kind of “cursed” year that we just need to get through. To suggest that the problem is the year on the calendar and the solution is the page after December would be flippant, to say the least. Despite all of it, meaningful art and the fearless depths it dares to go will always rise above the silence and drown out the static. My Politic’s “Short Sighted People In Power: A Home Recording” is now available exclusively on Bandcamp and is set for a wide release on all streaming platforms this Friday, 10/30. Just in time for you to play it over Thanksgiving dinner….or not.

Recently there’s been a lot of talk about whether or not the media has our best interests at heart, and with more and more men awakening from the feminist matrix, it seems that the mainstream media is going the way of the dinosaur.
Donald Trump has been urging the public not to trust the mainstream media, but I’m sure that if you’re a reader of Return Of Kings, you don’t need him to tell you that. The modern mainstream media is basically the same thing as the Church was in the 1200’s—they control the flow of information, and they don’t like it when people disagree with them. In fact, if someone who disagrees with them gets popular enough, they often times resort to smear campaigns (see: smearing Roosh as a manipulative pickup artist, and Milo as a pedophile apologist).
Now, I know what you’re thinking—“I know the media doesn’t report on things, Jon, but fake news? That’s, like, intentionally lying and manipulating information, isn’t it?” Yes, sir, it is—and this is what the mainstream media, particularly CNN, has been doing ever since television became popular.
Here’s 5 examples of how CNN is, in fact, “fake news”:
1. Kicking Bernie Sanders Off-Air
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BWQcxUIYUcQ
Bernie Sanders, the unofficial leader of the socialist movement in America, recently called CNN “fake news,” before being kicked off the air. CNN tried to play this off as a “connection issue,” but anyone with a grain of common sense knows better.
Bernie: “…who is the head of Russia, and now we’re learning that there may have been discussions between Flynn and the Russians, about sanctions, before this administration took power. So this is very, very troubling, and I think the president is going to have to tell us what he’s gonna do about it.”
CNN Anchor: “So far he hasn’t said much…he was asked about Flynn on his flight to Mar-a-Lago late today…here’s how he responded:
[plays clip of Donald Trump denying obvious lie directed towards him]
CNN Anchor: “He says he hasn’t seen any of these reports. Is that a problem?”
Bernie: “Well, I don’t know, maybe he was watching CNN Fake News, what do you think?”
Bernie: [sees her offended look] “It was a joke.”
CNN Anchor: “You don’t buy what he said, obviously?”
Bernie: “Erin?”
Bernie: “Kevin, I’m not—are we on?”
CNN Anchor: “Umm, it looks like we’ve lost connection with Senator Sanders…”
Right, of course. You just happened to “lose connection,” with Senator Sanders conveniently right after he called you fake news.
2. “Racism” Is Why Adele Won Grammy
Tumblr media
After Adele won the song of the year, record of the year, and best solo pop performance awards, it wasn’t long before CNN charged in to proclaim that “racism,” was the cause. CNN “reports”:
…”but with its racial themes and imagery, some are questioning if the project was “just too black” for Grammy voters. Kevin Powell, author of the memoir “The Education of Kevin Powell” and a forthcoming biography on rapper Tupac Shakur, thinks so. He told CNN “Beyonce’s ‘Lemonade’ made a lot of people uncomfortable, because it is so political, so spiritual, so unapologetically black, and so brutally honest about love, self-love, trust, betrayal.”
Right, because apparently Beyonce, despite being nominated for 62 Grammy awards, and winning a whopping 22 Grammy awards, is being discriminated against. In the Leftist’s delusional reality, any time a white person succeeds, it’s due to “racism,” yet any time a black person succeeds, it’s due to “overcoming insurmountable odds.”
Give me a break. Adele won the Grammy, because the panel thought her songs were better, period. This has nothing to do with racism, but apparently CNN still thinks it’s a good idea to race-bait the hell out of current events in 2017. I don’t see this changing anytime soon, either.
3. Venezuela Bans CNN For Lies
Tumblr media
According to Fox News World, the president of Venezuela actually asked CNN to leave:
“CNN, do not get into the affairs of Venezuelans. I want CNN well away from here—outside of Venezuela. Do not put your nose in Venezuela.” -Nicolas Maduro
…and can you blame him? CNN has repeatedly shown how ridiculously biased they are, and they’ve shown how willing to lie they are, for the past year after running a gigantic smear campaign against Donald Trump.
Didn’t CNN claim that The Donald had a 3% chance of being elected president? What did they do, just poll the gender studies department at UC Berkeley? I wouldn’t be surprised if they did, because nobody in their right mind would ever accidentally come to the conclusion that our current president had a 3% chance of winning.
In fact, other independent journalists such as Mike Cernovich actually predicted that Donald would win months before the election day in November—how? Because they saw the trends. They saw that men were tired of being emasculated and having their lives ruined, they saw that we’re tired of being shamed for our whiteness, and they saw that the people of America were starting to wake up from their NWO conditioning.
4. “Our Job Is To Control Exactly What People Think.”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NoXGV4Vw-VA
Yeah, yeah—I know this one isn’t CNN, but they’re all the same to me. MSNBC, NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, and even Fox News to an extent…they’re all just different heads on the same globalist-controlled hydra. Buckle in though, boys, because this one’s pretty bad…and it just happened days ago.
Mika Brzezinski, whose name should automatically create suspicion in the wary citizen, recently stated on MSNBC that it’s “our job,” to “control exactly what people think.” I honestly couldn’t even make this stuff up, but if you don’t believe me, you can watch it in the video above.
Mika Brzezinski: “Well, I think the dangerous edges here are that he’s trying to undermine the media, trying to make up his own facts, and it could be that while unemployment and the economy worsens, he could have undermined the messaging so much that he could control exactly what people think…and that is our job.”
No, Mika, that isn’t your job. Your job is to report the facts and let THE PEOPLE decide what to think, but if you can’t get that through your thick skull I guess we’ll just stop watching your crappy network.
5. Donald Trump Calls CNN “Fake News”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZI0Q3LQZmo
Ah, I saved the best for last—I do love me some Donald burns. After a CNN “news reporter” tried to aggressively ask Donald a question for some odd 20 seconds, repeatedly interrupting him and interjecting his way into the conversation, Donald lost it and called him “fake news.”
And who could blame him? They spent the last 8 months doing absolutely everything within their power to completely ruin Donald Trump’s chances at winning…and yet, by the grace of God, and by the memes of Pepe, lord of Keks, the Trump train smashed its way through the entire god damn establishment…and won.
Trump: [to other reporter] “Go ahead.”
CNN Fake News: “MR. PRESIDENT SINCE YOU’RE ATTACKING US CAN YOU GIVE US A QUESTION!”
Trump: [to CNN] “No.”
Trump: [to other reporter]: “Go ahead.”
CNN Fake News: “MR. PRESIDENT ELECT! MR. PRESIDENT ELECT! SINCE YOU ARE ATTACKING OUR NEWS ORGANIZATION,”
Trump: [to CNN] “No, not you.”
Trump: [to other reporter] “Go ahead.”
CNN Fake News: “CAN YOU GIVE US A QUESTION,”
Trump: [to CNN] “Not you.”
CNN Fake News: “GIVE US A CHANCE! MR PRESIDENT”
Trump: [to CNN] “Your organization’s terrible.”
CNN Fake News: “CAN YOU GIVE US A CHANCE, JUST LET US ASK…”
Trump: [to CNN] “Your organization’s terrible.”
CNN Fake News: “LET US ASK A QUESTION, SIR! SIR!”
Trump: [to CNN] “Quiet.”
This goes on for literally 25 seconds, before Trump finally becomes visibly angry and proclaims:
Trump: [to CNN] “You are fake news.”
If the President of the United States of America thinks that CNN is fake news, I think they’re probably fake news.
Summary
In conclusion, if you still watch the mainstream media, don’t. Get your news from real news sites, like Return Of Kings, Info Wars, Gateway Pundit, Drudge Report, and Cernovich. The MSM has shown us multiple times in the past that they’re globalist whores, selling out the American public to fatten their own pockets.
I recently bought an Info Wars shirt to start wearing around in public, and the results have restored my faith in America. Everywhere I wear it, I’ve gotten complements—it’s not that often, but you’d be surprised how many men are awake, but just don’t broadcast it.
The MSM would have you believe that 99% of the American public hates Trump, but it’s really only something like 10% who hate him, and maybe 25% more who dislike him.
I usually wear Info Wars, Breitbart, and Trump apparel to the gym, because most guys who have a shredded six pack from lifting heavy ass weights are strong and masculine, and are therefore not subject to stupid social pressures that the media uses to influence you.
Do your part in spreading the good gospel of the manosphere, the alt-news, and the resurgence of America, and we’ll reclaim our country for sure. Let’s all make America great again.
https://www.returnofkings.com/165920/how-journalists-became-whores
Tumblr media
Journalists are supposed to follow a set of rules and values called deontology. These rules say journalists should strive to be impartial, objective, and to inform their readers. We know well this is not the true nature of their activity.
Most MSM journalists today if not all are spinsters. They cherry-pick their facts and craft narratives around to steer people towards an untold yet ever-present agenda. They make up stereotypes while attacking other stereotypes, they make up ideas while attacking other ideas, as it suits the editorial line of their employer.
In the name of information, journalists create and fulfill an artificially constructed consciousness. They are paid to do so. They believe what they’re doing is normal or cool, just like the Ministry of Truth in Orwell’s 1984, where officers burn archives then forget they just destroyed records (soon to be rewritten); your average leftist journalist spins all the time, follows all the time, yet doesn’t even know he spins and follows.
Tumblr media
A little bit of history
If you lend an ear to leftist historians, up to perhaps to age of discoveries, the West didn’t know much. Everybody were locked into their own towns and fields. Well, this is not true. Europeans had known about the Silk Road from time immemorial. Kings and the clergy had their messengers, their events, their gatherings. Individuals like Saint Bernard or Saint Thomas of Aquino were quite familiar with communicating at a distance.
It was just much slower than today—and quite of a luxury as well. Common folk had to rely on minstrels, travelers, and on their own travels. Most communication was done orally. Academics today love to point out how unreliable the bush telegraph is, but at least this communication is done naturally between common people rather than top-down from a shadowy agenda.
Also, as slow as this word-to-mouth communication was, people then did not need more: they could make a living on their own, with the insurance that they could consume it themselves or sell it. Markets tended to be stable, and whether you were a field-tiller or a craftsman, you didn’t need to know about the latest fad not to be left behind. People were also much less bored and in need of diversions. Didn’t have newspapers, didn’t need them.
Then came the printing press. What had been done by scribes secluded in monasteries became partly automatized and multiplied. Bibles were printed. Then pamphlets. By the time, Protestantism had well developed, clever princes tried to use it to their advantage, and the Catholic church counter-attacked by launching one of the most manipulative orders ever created.
More power to independent people meant chaos. Printing outside of the rigid hierarchy of the Church meant a never-ending contest of ideas, systems, tastes, experiences, and egos. The hypocritical journalists of now who chide “trolls” while sniffing their own written farts should remember that trolling appeared as a side-effect of the printing press, as it became possible to say anything remotely instead of being necessarily confrontable. Plus, trolling helps to think of things to talk about with a girl.
Nevertheless, printing what you wanted was not that simple. First, literacy was still the hallmark of a comfortable upbringing, and second, you had to be able to print. You had to know a printer, had to make a deal with him and pay him. Not to mention the dissemination of your lovely printed book. It was always possible to print in a country with virtually no censorship, then smuggle books, but who was to receive them and share them?
No matter what you had to say, you always needed to address a noble-bourgeois audience, which meant catering to fashionable topics or debates. Otherwise, your material would be simply ignored. Authors who weren’t too well-known had to rely on booksellers who conspired to arrange a discrete monopoly on over-the-counter books. Yep, the world of “culture” has always been murky, and its members believe this is a sign of their superior intelligence.
As “culture” developed, with its train of noise, untold rivalries and social parasitism, periodic journals were printed at an ever-faster pace. Eighteenth century bi-annuals were replaced by daily or weekly newspapers. Which meant a great need, not for amateur gentlemen, but for people who could write constantly. Such people would be called journalists.
The modern journalist plant
Tumblr media
If you believe journalism is about informing the public, forget it immediately. There is no such thing as an automatic progress which just makes happen what seems desirable. If an unbiased, all-objective information seems desirable, that does not mean someone will pay for it or even manage to get it. Even the CIA Factbook was made in the first place because objective information would benefit the CIA itself, not “enlighten the masses” or whatever a leftist salesman would say.
A journalist is basically someone who is paid to write on particular issues, in a well-defined format, as his boss sees fit. A journal belongs to someone—no matter if the owner is public or private—who usually has its own aims. Whether the newspaper has to simply sell or shape the opinion, it always aims at something else than merely informing.
(Even ROK has an agenda, and I’m fine with it, because I believe it is sound and fair, but I’d never pretend I write for the sole love of truth or as if I was a disembodied soul with no consciousness of its own. Any writer having such pretenses is a hypocrite or a liar.)
Tumblr media
Back to the nineteenth century. Newspapers were just like factories. As plant workers had to churn tangible products, journalists had to churn out impressions. They were like paid artists for the ephemeral, creating appearances that would sell, or satisfy, or infuriate—anything as long as it suited the editorial line of their employer. Journalists did not become whores. They were paid employees, to put it politely, from day one. But at least the blue collar workers had to pretense to say the truth or illuminate or whatever BS that sells.
Let’s say you were born with a high verbal IQ, a knack for writing, and some ideas. What could you do? You may consider writing books, become an intellectual, but book writing takes time and often doesn’t pay. If you can’t live like an annuitant, you must be an employee.
If you choose the written words, you have to conform to a preexisting editorial line, to a particular milieu that already existed before you did, in hope of being granted a job. Creating a journal demanded not only experience but capital as well. Can you pay a printer? Would a banker trust you if you asked him for a loan so you can start a journal?
As the nineteenth century was an epoch of exceptional growth, some people had this capital or trust, and many independent journals were formed. Many, though, were bought off, or chased away, or censored. The elite does not want you to become an influencer, unless, of course, you remain a perpetual servant of their agenda.
This is why mild conservatives are accepted as a stooge opposition, along with the alt lite, whereas those who really want to save civilization and its creators are reviled. The elites want to destroy civilization, so, their journalists, who all depend on them socially and financially, foster their agenda while lying to themselves on the nature of what they do.
Tumblr media
So-called investigators are paid by Darth Soros to “investigate” on convenient targets while turning a blind eye on other things, like mass immigration, or upholding a mandatory narrative which rests not on truth but on pure social conformism—muh minorities r always good, muh white males r always wrong.
Perhaps the “fake news” offensive has been crafted, not only to maintain the masses into the blue pill matrix, but also to reassure the frail employees that they are serving truth and progress. Which is already dubious, as worshiping an arbitrary strand of “progress” has nothing to do with objectivity, just as the contemporary humanities are rather a Hollywood for nerds than a place of real knowledge, but you can’t ask vapid girls to get to this level.
No one writes for the sake of truth alone. Independent writers or journalists also speak of what they think relevant. They will mention XYZ facts because these are important, or, at least, ensure a modicum of success. Just like men tend to read Miyamoto Musashi quotes, not merely because he existed, but because he’s interesting.
Mainstream journalists are courtiers. They are paid by global elites to do their bidding. They work in cities just like filmmakers work in grand obscure studios—because their activity lies in creating perceptions, in shaping fashions, ideas, mottos, norms. The difference between a marketer, a journalist and a filmmaker is only of scale and means. The aim, and the bottom, is the same.
We are different, because we are bottom-up. When mainstream journalists sold their souls, we are upholding ours. The problem with this is that we’re ill-paid. The globalists and the boomers tend to concentrate all the money, and it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to witness that the non-mainstream outlets tend to all lack money. Such is the price of independence.
We ought to have our own money elsewhere, and have a lot of independent journalists around, so that autonomous individuals from our side can work or investigate and help masculine men to shape their own consciousness.

stop sending messages about kelly to amanda. jc its like youre obsessed.
i rarely curse at people but fuck you. and i mean that from the bottom of my heart. i don’t know what possessed you to send me this ask in the first place because i haven’t been on the dash in days but fuck you. i’m not sending messages about kelly to amanda. kelly hasn’t crossed my mind in months. i haven’t spoken or uttered her name in conversation even longer than that. ya’ll are so quick to accuse people of things with no evidence? the fact that you assume everyone who sends in questions about these people are just jaded friends / members is the problem! none of you want to take responsibility for your actions so you’d rather just brush off the stuff being said about you as “hate” and “negativity”. i’ve made one post about kelly in my entire existence on this website. AND I EVEN SUGAR COATED THAT ONE POST by only sticking to rp related instances! i went to painstaking lengths to ensure nothing i wrote about her came across as mean or inflammatory. there’s a whole paragraph where i sang her praises. why? cause for a very long time she was someone very dear to me and i didn’t want to crucify her in the public eye because i believe people can change and grow. but since ya’ll love to villainize people, let me just say this.
if i wanted to send amanda messages it would be:
about that time i made a post on my personal during the 2016 election ( or maybe directly after i can’t remember ) where i said something about trump supporters being ignorant ( literally one of the least nasty thing that can be said about trump supporters ) and kelly messaged me on skype upset that i said that because her family members were trump supporters. i literally had to APOLOGIZE TO HER for saying something about trump supporters. even though they were outwardly spewing anti-immigration propaganda and encouraging trump’s muslim registry nonsense. two things kelly knows i am, an immigrant & a muslim. still, i “agreed to disagree” so she wouldn’t be mad at me. from that day on i felt like i couldn’t post anything political on my blog or else she’d find an issue with it and come confront me again. ( i would link to the post in question but i think i literally deleted it to placate her + skype wont let me scroll back further than april 2017 & this convo happened prior to that )
or maybe the time someone came to me in my inbox to ask about if it was insensitive to play turkish fcs as non-muslim & i answered saying something along the lines like “no it wouldn’t be insensitive but like please keep in mind islam is the largest religion practiced in turkey.” nothing controversial about that right? like i wasn’t telling people that they would be cancelled if they had non-muslim turkish muses but STILL kelly who was in a big turkish fc phase at the time felt the need to then reply to my ask to be like “there are jewish people in turkey too!!!” which is true! there are multiple religions practiced in turkey but that wasn’t what was up for debate in the ask that was sent to me. people already play turkish fcs as anything but muslim. again she messaged me privately afterward saying she hoped it was okay she interjected and to avoid confrontation i didn’t say anything and let it slide cause i told myself she was just excited about exploring judaism as a faith. but just think about it? could you imagine if someone was answering an ask about zoey deutch being jewish & whether it was insensitive to play her as non-practicing & i just inserted myself by saying “um actually people practice other religions in america too!” just because i like playing zoey deutch fcs and may not wanna be held responsible to play her as her religion? LINK TO THE ASK HERE.
or how about that elongated period of time she had not white in the description of her personal? if memory serves me correct her blog title had gypsy in it and someone told her that term was offensive to romani which is when she said she was part romani herself. which then inevitable led to the “not white” identifier on her blog. but multiple times before and after that privately she only talked about her family being italian. rarely if ever did the romani thing ever come up again. only when it was convenient. i’m not trying to say kelly isn’t romani or is lying about identifying as nonwhite but there were multiple times in our friendship where i felt like she was trying to use labels associated to minority groups for some sort of invisible “brownie points” and it was very uncomfortable to me but i never felt comfortable enough to brooch it with her for fear of being exiled from the friend group or accused of being “toxic” the way she described other ex-friends.
or maybe i’d give amanda extra details about stuff i’ve already said about kelly on my blog. like when i said she asked me to play a nina twin with her at a group but then got mad at me for essentially plotting with people? what i didn’t add was that that whole thing happened during ramadan while i was fasting. and she knew it was ramadan cause we talked about it in our gc. i had been working all day helping my family do stuff while fasting only to log on to skype to have one of my best friends accuse me of trying to ruin her plots and fun in a group she invited me to. the whole conversation gave me so much anxiety on top of being hungry & tired from running around a majority of the day. like i kept worrying that if i didn’t respond fast enough that she’d get angry which in turn made me family be upset at me for keeping looking for reasons to be on my phone. her excuse in the end? she was on her period and feeling sensitive. ( LINK TO SCREEN SHOTS )
or what about all those times she would message me privately about people i considered friends and how she didn’t think they liked her. or how she felt unliked and unwanted and i’d have to go out of my way to assure her that wasn’t the case. to the point of my own discomfort. it got the point where i started not enjoying my own rp experience cause i’d feel bad that i was having fun on the dash when she wasnt? it was during a time she claimed she changed and she would always weaponize the narrative people had of her “old self” against me to make me feel bad for being friends / friendly with those people even though she’d keep insisting that it was totally fine & she wasn’t mad about it and simply just “worried” cause she didn’t want to cause “drama” ( to use an example from an instance used in my other ask about kelly: her and my friend lauren had a falling out. when said falling out happened she repeatedly insisted that the rest of us in the friend group didn’t have to “pick sides” then, later down the line, when she found out lauren was joining a group i was opening she then proceeded to use that as one of the reasons why i was being a “shitty friend” to her. LINK BACK TO THAT PART OF THE CONVO )
if i was really obsessed with kelly i would just have submitted the messages i got from people after i made my post about her to amanda. people who were friends with her were coming to me telling me that kelly had done / was doing the same thing to them that she put me through and how they appreciated me speaking up about it. keep in mind i made my post like a year after i stopped being friends with her. which meant that in that time, despite all the claims she had made about changing and being better, she was still treating her friends and the people close to her shitty. i’m not gonna share screen shots of those messages because it seems for all intents and purposes those people have forgiven kelly & are still friends with her and i’m not trying to get them in trouble with her.
i’ve given kelly the benefit of the doubt for years. even after i stopped communicating with her i didn’t say anything about the microaggressions i faced as her friend or how manipulated i felt by her. being her friend often felt like you were one mistake away from being cut off. it’s like you constantly had to prove your loyalty and love to her or else. it took me a long time to realize how our dynamic was extremely unhealthy and even when i realized that i never publicly said anything because i still cared about her and saw how much shit she was getting & didn’t want to add to it. but i’m not the pathetic little hales that can be bullied and talked down to anymore. i’m not gonna allow you to come into my inbox when i was minding my own business and try to make me the bad guy. if people are sending messages to amanda about kelly it’s because she’s got a long list of people she’s hurt & hasn’t resolved anything with. that has nothing to do with me so please kindly get out of my inbox.

The Trump immunity question has come up again and our son and daughter were right they read it right and the court upheld the constitution and not trumps version. Said if he was on official business then he would have immunity but he was not he was on the election business so he has to argue it and he's confronted with that now and he can't figure it out. His lawyers have explained it over and over you went to them and you asked them to clarify the immunity with regards to this particular case and it babbles on for a long time the documents hard to understand but the conclusion is not it says there are some instances that might be official business but they need to be proven to me and that's what it says so his lawyers are idiots and they can't figure out what to say so after time they decided they should try and figure out what official business was so the St Louis **** **** today they're saying **** **** today in court I was on the phone with this guy it was was this a different phone call it was yeah so it's like not while you're doing official business. Hey! So I know most of the time I just reblog political stuff, rather than make my own political posts, but I'm going to rant about my political views and why I feel that way. Please note that as of right now all but one of my views are liberal. Yes, I have a conservative viewpoint on one issue. Read to find out, I'll put it last.
Abortion
This is okay. At any point during the first trimester, as by the end of the first trimester, the baby's brain has developed enough to allow coordinated subconscious movements, such as hiccuping. After that, I'd be uncomfortable with the idea of an abortion, at least during the second trimester. After the third trimester begins, I'm against abortion. The fetus is too far developed mentally.
LGBTQ+ Rights
We [LGBTQ+ peeps] are people. I'm one of them, and anyone who isn't cishet is part of the LGBTQ+ group. Yes, you MUST BE cisgender AND heterosexual in order to not be allowed as a LGBTQ+ person, meaning that asexuals/aromantics, trans people, and others are valid! Hell, cishets are valid, technically, they're just not part of the community unless they're allies.
Defunding the Police
I shouldn't have to explain this; the fact that police get away with murder in general is wrong. It's worse when the victim is a POC, as then there's the possibility of racism. Get rid of the damn police; we only need them for violent criminals (i.e. alleged murderers, alleged armed robbers, alleged rapists, alleged sexual assaulters). Neither smoking weed nor fraud are violent crimes.
Healthcare for All
This... its sad that some people don't think universal healthcare shouldn't exist. Why should helping someone be bad? I mean, once you pay your taxes, that money is no longer yours, so why shouldn't that money be used to help people?
Education for all
I love how Boomers and baffoons think that we should pay for education. I mean, come on. College/University prices have gone WAAAAAY up in recent times, while wages remain the same and acceptance rates go down. Besides, Boomers have (for the most part) already payed for their college, they shouldn't get a say in whether or not we pay for ours. I mean, it's like they say; life's not fair. And this goes back to the "once you pay your taxes, that money is no longer yours."
Cleaner, Eco-friendly Energy
Don't tell me that this will ruin coal miners. They can be retrained to do a different job; the environment can't be rebuilt in our lifetimes.
Fuck the Rich
Why are the poor and working guys, gals, and pals paying the rich? Why should I pay taxes to bail out a greedy corporation that doesn't give a damn about anything but money?
I mean, if WalMart were to pay its workers livable wages WITHOUT raising the prices, it's income per year would drop from $300 million/year to a miniscule... $294 million/year. Thats like, bankruptcy worthy, right?
The ONLY time that wages shouldn't be forced to go up is with small businesses. By that I mean any business that makes less than $200,000/year in profit (profit is after expenses, aka after taxes, bills, etc). I mean, thats being generous.
2nd Amendment Rights
Ok, so this is actually more of a "we need balance" view, rather than the "conservative" view that I called it earlier.
Essentially, anyone who is at high-risk for committing a violent crime (aka the mentally unstable, previous offenders, anyone who follows fascist or prejudicial pages) should NOT own a gun. Yes, as of right now, that includes me, due to my mental disabilities.
Of course, if you can prove you're mentally stable, even if you have mental disabilities, you should be allowed to own a gun. I mean, I'd live to own a gun. I'm fascinated by weapons of all makes, types, and origins. Do I trust myself with a gun? As of right now, absolutely fucking not. Will I be owning a gun anytime soon? Nope.
HOWEVER, the purpose of the 2nd Amendment isn't hunting, it isn't collecting, it isn't committing crimes... it's to defend against threats. Foreign AND domestic. From either side of the government.
This means that we may need to take up arms against our fellow citizens. I mean, the majority of the NRA is pro-Trump. If he gets re-elected and takes control, what's gonna stop him from telling his supporters to go and slaughter us liberals? They'd do it. I mean, they'd probably do it even Iif he DOESN'T get re-elected.
As much as I don't like this situation, I'm thinking us liberals - whether you're pro-gun or not - should arm ourselves. I mean, if Trump is a fascist, guess who has to follow him? The military. And the police. And the NRA. Although that last one would do it willingly.
If Trump is a fascist, which I do believe he is, he might get some resistance from the military, and any "good cops" some people claim exist. But other than that? Anyone who is a Democrat- including civilians - or doesn't basically bow down to him... will probably be slaughtered.
I'm not trying to instill fear, or to get you guys to change your stances. But I could swear that there's a second civil war coming, and it'll be largely liberal vs conservative. And I can tell you right now; I'm a liberal. Even if I'm the only liberal fighting against them, I'll still fight if this happens. And I'll be fighting not for liberals or conservatives, but for America. Which means against Trump.
I'm really sorry if I offended anyone with anything in this.
I do indeed believe that there is a civil war coming, and that, unlike the last one, it won't be North Vs South. It'll be Liberal Vs Conservative. And the fact that so many liberals probably wouldn't be willing to take up arms with me... it scares me. Believe me, I don't want my own gun; not at this point in my life. But I'll probably need one, unfortunately.

Hehehe ramble time!!! Thanks!
I’m gonna ramble/infodump about Ronald Reagan cause I just had a history test about him and also cause I can. So he was elected in the 1980s by a whole bunch of people who were really mad at Carter for being weak and doing nothing. Reagan got a bunch of conservative Christians to vote for him by demoting things like homosexuality, interracial marriages, abortion, stuff like that. He got a fuck ton of votes and won office, promising to limit government control and to cut taxes and protect people against the “evil Soviet Union”. So Reagan instituted something called supply side economics, which gave lots of tax cuts to the wealthy. It was supposed to make them have more money that they would invest in things, which would then “trickle down” to the poorer society members (hence why it was also called “trickle down economics”). It was also supposed to give money to the government in the long term, but it just made them start to go in debt.
So yeah, Reagan caused the economy to be pretty bad. He caused Black Monday on 1987 that was the largest single-day stock market crash (but the textbook only went up to 2014 so honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump had a bigger one). The pay gap also increased a whole bunch with him. The poor got poorer and the rich got richer. The median household income also lowered. Plus, he put a fuck ton of money into the military and tried to create “Star Wars” space lasers that were supposed to hit missiles and deactivate them mid-air. So yeah, that didn’t work out too well. He also cut funding to social security programs that helped minorities since everyone who wasn’t part of these programs were like “yeah this is useless and government control” which is dumb but like he and all the Republican presidents after him cut funds to those programs so....
Reagan hated the Soviet Union with a burning passion (I mean most of America did at that time so he wasn’t really special). But then the Soviets got a new leader, Mikhael Gorbachev (yes I’ve memorized his name whoops) who gave citizens a lot of freedom and free speech and even some capitalist policies, so Reagan was like fine I guess I can try to negotiate peace with him. Reagan got really pissy and a peace treaty wasn’t created until the two leaders met a couple times, but they signed a treaty that made each of them get rid of a lot of their nuclear weapons. So Reagan was like “neat!!! We won the Cold War!!!” and Americans were happy. (Except then we started fighting a bunch of other countries and things got more ugly but that was mostly with the Bushes so I’m gonna ignore that part right now.)
Reagan also completely ignored the AIDs crisis cause like “gay people disease” or some shit like that. It killed a bunch of people but he only cared when a bunch of people got upset that straight people were starting to die too. Some famous basketball player (who was 100% a straighty) got it and everyone completely freaked out, so I think it was only around that time Reagan even addressed the issue at all. So yeah, Reagan was a jerk and useless. Apparently pretty much the rest of the heterosexuals in the country were too, which is fun /s.
After 8 years in office, Reagan finally got replaced by his vice president W. H. Bush for four years, and after he got into a bunch of fights with a bunch of countries and tanked the economy even more, he was replaced by Clinton. But bottom line is, Reagan pretty much ruined the economy and also completely politicized social issues like abortion and gay rights that weren’t previously political. Also, the government has never not been in debt after his presidency except briefly with Clinton. All the Republicans cut taxes and the deficits rose like crazy, and the Democrats would try to fix it and fail (also Obama’s conservative Senate made it real hard for him to pass anything substantial.)
Yeah, that’s my educational ramble! Message me if you want more cause I have more!
