i flit through the random notifications, only to find disappointment. i open up discord, wondering if maybe i just fell asleep with my phone on, but there's no response from him. i see him active and type out a message, ultimately deleting it. if he wants to respond, he will.

i haul myself out of bed and head to the shower, leaving my phone behind, slightly jaded knowing i was left on read. i let the warm water wash over me, soaking up the few minutes of peace before i exit and get dressed. i continue ignoring my phone until i hear a ping. i rush over to it, feeling slightly embarrassed that i'm this concerned already. i open discord again, expecting a message from him, but it's not there. instead, a string of messages from someone else sits unopened. my brows furrow and i open the dm confused.

Billie and Reneé have been together for months and fans couldn't be more obsessed with their relationship if they tried. You were one of those... more obsessive fans. You kept up to date with every little detail, there wasn't much you didn't know about your favourite artists. You knew how Reneé used to golf, even before it was mentioned in the interview. You were just good at deep diving into things you were interested in. The hyperfixations you had tended to get- well, incredibly intense. Honestly your behaviour was close to stalker level with Reneé and Billie.

Today was a good example of that obsessive behaviour. You'd found out that they were both in your town and when Reneé posted a picture of them on her spam, you could immediately recognize the little local café they were at in the background. So you grabbed your keys and decided to 'run in randomly' to them at the café. There was no way you could pass up the opportunity.

Bumping to their tunes in the car, you headed for the café. Driving just slightly quicker than maybe you should've, wanting to get there before they left. When you arrived, you tried to act as casual as possible. Hands in your pockets, walking in with confidence as you headed for the counter. Ordering whatever your go to order is, then turning your head and pretending to notice Billie and Reneé.

"Oh shit no way! Billie and Reneé?" Their heads turn to look at you, both smiling. Billie gives you a once over and subtly glances at Reneé. She could see the subtle look of interest behind the blonde's eyes.

"Yeah, baby?" Reneé smiled as you walked over.

"Can I get a photo?" When she called you 'baby' your heart felt like it was trying to leap out of your throat.

They nodded and smiled, "yeah of course." Billie let you sit beside her, the three of you fitting into the photo.

You stayed and talked, got your order then came back and joined them again. It was like the three of you had known each other for ages. You were just comfortable talking to them and they liked talking to you. So much so that they seemed to have a silent conversation with their eyes. Billie even invited you back to their place. And who were you to pass up that opportunity?

When you got there Reneé pulled out the alcohol and the three of you started drinking, none of you really noticed what time it was or really cared. It was well past 11pm when you started feeling a little tired.

Billie couldn't help but notice and smirked at you," Wanna go to bed?" She asked and your cheeks flushed. Even drunk you knew she was flirting, she definitely didn't try to hide it. Reneé giggled and poked your cheek.

"Your face is all red~" She teased, words slurring together. You couldn't form words, all you did was nod in response and both girls grinned. Reneé took your hand, leading you to their room.

When you got there, Billie pulled you in for a kiss. The smell of alcohol filled your nose but you hardly cared. All that mattered was that your favourite popstars were into you.

Her lips moved against yours while Reneé went and dug through the closet, you weren't entirely focused on what she was doing. Only caring about how Billie's lips were against yours in a bruising kiss.

That was, until you felt something silicone touch your arm. You broke the kiss with Billie to see Reneé looking at you with a smirk. Silicone strap in hand, rubbing the tip against your forearm.

"Well, baby?" She asked, like you even needed the invitation. You took the strap and the three of you stripped yourselves of your clothing. Once the strap was on you, giving it a little tug to make sure it was snug, your eyes traveled down Reneé and Billie's bodies. God they were more stunning than you could have imagined. Your breath caught and Billie's hand came to your chin. Getting your attention.

"Don't go getting distracted on us." Billie teased, you nodded and Reneé pulled you over to the bed. Making you sit down as her mouth worked to wet the strap. Her tongue twirling around the sides, moving her head up and down. Her eyes never leaving yours. You were pretty certain your cheeks were permanently painted red.

Reneé hollowed out her cheeks, a gagging sound leaving her throat as she felt the tip slide down. Billie walked over and sat next to you, pulling you into a kiss while her hand went to Reneé's hair, giving a gentle tug as she forced her to deep throat the silicone. Reneé came up and gasped for air, giving her a glare when she saw Billie smile sheepishly. Her head rested against the side of yours.

Seeing Reneé and Billie like this... you felt something stir. "Both of you on your backs." Your tone didn't leave room for demand, sending a chill down the singers spines as they shared a look. You had been woken up from another message from someone you had met from a discord server you and your friends had made for fun.

It’s been weeks since the server was created, already have been filled with hundreds of people as you felt like you had accomplished something - not having a life!

Kidding.

You took your phone into hand, putting it up til your phone opened automatically and the high brightness that had an automatic increase hit your eyes, making you wince a little.

You quickly recovered from that awful brightness that had been stuck onto your phone, now laying on your back instead of your side now.

You hopped over to instagram, checking out the next messages you had been sent over the past few minutes upon receiving them.

You read them,

You felt yourself smile a bit from these messages, now going ahead and typing out;

You proceeded to do the same, spam the poor man with numerous messages until he replied to yours. And it somewhat worked - he read them, just not replied.

You rolled your eyes to the screen, annoyed at not getting him to respond to your messages as you planned your ‘devious’ plan to spam him with calls.

You then started on doing that ‘wicked’ plan of yours, spam calling him both on Discord and Instagram.

You were a master at spamming others using the calling technique? Not sure but you liked to call it a technique.

You continued doing so as you let the one on instagram ring for a while as you go ahead as grab a cup of water.

You hoped he’d decline it and finally respond to your dreadful replies, wasting sleep for him wasn’t easy because you were nearly asleep when you texted him a few minutes ago.

You settled the cup on the sink as you ended the call and started another one while you yawned, looking for some snacks to eat now that you’re downstairs.

Until you heard a certain sound coming out of your phone, hearing a voice come out of it - one you haven’t heard. Quite embarrassing to admit it took you a few seconds to realise your call had been answered.

You immediately got up from your position when you were in search for some midnight snacks. You quickly grabbed your phone as you listened to the voice.

“Y/N?” The one over the phone said, knowing your name. You froze for a moment before realising it is your friend who had answered your call.. oh dear.

You thought about it for a second, decline or not? It was a frustrating choice because you did want to hear his voice a bit more as you stayed silent.

You heard a cough from over the speaker, catching your attention as he spoke once more, “Hello?”

You now braced yourself, finally having the ugly guts to respond to him because you areee the one who called him in the first place.

“Hey,” You finally greeted back, seeming a bit nervous from the small stutter that probably wasn’t noticeable from the other side as you coughed.

You held your phone next to your face, having both hands hold your phone as you patiently waited to hear him continue talking.

“Sorry,” He apologised, “I’m kinda ..busy, right now,” He continued, chuckling weakly as you heard a small thud against the speakers of the phone.

You seemed kinda disappointed knowing that, wanting to talk more in call. You sighed, now going to say your last words before ending the call.

“Talk to you later,” He said, waiting for you to end the call as he held the phone close to him - which seemed obvious to you from the random shuffle in the audio.

“Yeah, uhm.. can we call again?” You asked hesitantly, wanting him to hear it despite it being a mumble.

Yeah, he probably have heard it since we’re in call.

“Sure,” He agreed with his voice being in such a calm manner yet so ..rushed? Before he had ended the call himself.

Sure? Sure.

Wow, not even a goodbye is crazy.

You thought, expecting a much more better response from him since he might have of been the reason why you’re staying up so late.

But he isn’t, you’re clearly the reason for not sleeping yet due to being pretty stubborn to sleep despite telling Miles you to go to sleep soon.

You aren’t, you’re waiting for his call, a message of some sort. You couldn’t erase the thought of hearing his voice once more out of your mind.

It particularly implanted as you felt your heart beat a bit faster.

And whats with all the noises in his part? Was he- was he doing that?.. No, no! Don’t think about that now. He’s the same age as you, it’d be weird - no, it’s somewhat normal..

No.. ew, yuck.

You grossed yourself out for thinking such a thing but the thuds? No, it was quite obvious he was outside - outside?! In public!? No, you’re overthinking it.

Just overthinking it? But why was he so tired? Why do you care so much?!

You’ve soon to come to a conclusion that you’re overthinking everything and that he was simply having a life outside of his phone and those noises were background noises of being hit in the stomach or what? What is this conclusion?

You closed your eyes, still downstairs and not up your bedroom as you sat on your couch thinking about that call.

You stood up, walking over to your phone that you had thrown an ridiculous distance away from you.

Riddle types stiffly and grammatically correct because he believes one's texting style reflects their maturity level. So you can expect full sentences with punctuation. He most likely didn't have emojis downloaded onto his messenger (it's Cater who shows them to him), and after he gets them he might use an emoji or two to get a point across. He often ends written threats (most often beheadings) with the smiling emojis, but he doesn't overuse emojis.

Trey is friendly and polite when he texts. I get the impression he doesn't text very often and instead prefers phone calls, but when he does text his tone is always warm even through the screen. Very sweet. He also uses emojis, but he doesn't use them nearly as often. He might overuse the dessert emojis because he likes those the most.

Cater is always typing (and even talking) in texting slang and abbreviations. He uses emojis and hashtags. I wouldn't be surprised if he uses pretty fonts for his Magicam captions. He strikes me as the type to send multiple messages if it's to someone he's close with. His tone is always friendly and casual.

Deuce texts stiffly with upperclassman or anyone he has a lot of respect for, but with friends (especially Ace) he's very, very casual. Probably bickers over text with Ace. Might curse once or twice in text and instigate fights if he's particularly riled up.

Ace is another casual texter. The type to send multiple messages just to annoy you if he knows you're busy. He's always texting you for homework answers. The group chat ghosts him when he begs for homework and essay answers lol. I like to think he might gossip through text every now and then, if only to keep things interesting in the group chat.

Leona either leaves you on read or has very terse responses. His texting style is so boring and dry. T_T most of the time he's sleeping. He probably has 500+ unread messages because he can't be bothered to check. If it's something important, just say it to his face or call him.

Ruggie texts fairly casually. He isn't as stiff as Riddle and he won't leave you on read (most of the time). He's busy a lot, so he doesn't text often and it takes a while for him to read his messages. He usually texts you if he wants something. <3 he uses emojis, but it's usually if he's being sarcastic or he needs to respond quickly and can only offer a thumbs-up emoji.

Jack is also another texter with curt, stiff replies. He texts like how he speaks, so there isn't much difference. He rarely uses emojis and he doesn't use any abbreviations or slang.

Azul texts politely and grammatically correct with everyone because he believes one's texting style represents the type of person they are. He wants to show everyone he is a refined gentleman. With Jade and Floyd, his texting style is far more casual because they're close friends. He might use an emoji or two if it's fitting, but outside of that he's polite and respectful.

Jade texts much like how he speaks as well. He's considerably casual with Floyd and Azul for the same reason mentioned above, but even then he's still polite. He might use emojis when texting with Floyd and Azul. Jade has a tendency to write some of the most disturbing things and finish it with a :) no cute smile emoji. It's literally the haunting :) and some might say he overuses it... ;;;

Floyd texts casually and immaturely with everyone. He uses emojis, abbreviations, all-caps. He sends multiple messages at a time and spams your phone whenever he's in the mood. He likes to send a lot of gifs and images, too. He's shameless with it. Sometimes he'll even send links or images of erotic toys in the group chat he has with Jade and Azul and ask what they think. Sends a photo of the most monstrous dildo he's found online and asks: "Ya think this would fit in Shrimpy?" and without fail Jade always replies, "No harm in trying. :)" Azul will beat the life out of them; they're always discussing the ways in which they can break his angelfish! >:(

Kalim texts very casually. Also a spam texter. He uses all-caps when he's excited. He overuses emojis. Also the type to send lots of images in group chats or even one-on-one chats.

Jamil texts politely with everyone because it's important to look and sound respectful, even through a screen. Even if some of his peers get on his nerves and he'd rather verbally destroy them through text. He tends to send curt messages that usually get his points across. He sees no need to continue conversations he'd rather not have, so he often texts only what's necessary.

Vil texts much like how he speaks. There is always an elegance to his words, but that's because every inch of him is beautiful and elegant. Naturally this would extend to his texting style. He never uses too much or too little of something, so he will use emojis when it's fitting. He doesn't use abbreviations often, but every now and then you might get a rare lol from him.

Rook texts very passionately. He may send multiple messages at a time because too much is never enough for him. Definitely uses all sorts of French words when texting, so it's quite reminiscent of how he speaks in his daily life. I don't think he would use abbreviations or slangs, but he does use the flower and sparkle emojis to further express himself.

Epel texts casually with his friends. He'll use slang with them. With upperclassmen, he knows to text a little more politely, especially if said upperclassmen are Rook and Vil.

Idia texts in all lowercase, uses gamer slang and abbreviations, and shortens words like "your" to "ur." His replies can range from either super curt to leaving you on read to sending blocks of text because he's rambling about something he's passionate about.

Ortho texts like how he speaks: very kind and friendly and energetic! Although it is funny to imagine he texts only in binary code lol.

Malleus uses speech-to-text after Lilia introduced it to him, claiming it was much quicker than typing out the letters, so now he uses that to conveniently message. But he has yet to grasp that text-to-speech makes note of everything he's saying, so sometimes you'll get messages like: Capital C child of capital M man comma would you accompany me on a walk tonight? question mark smiling face emoticon. He means well in his texts, though. He's trying his best. (it's cute to imagine the little ding of a notification startles him at first.)

Lilia texts in a weird mixture of casual and polite. Sometimes he's using punctuation and other times he's not. Sometimes he's using slang and emojis and other times he's not. Sometimes he'll send silly gifs. One time Silver texted him that the dorm was out of toilet paper and Lilia responded with: L :p

Sebek texts in all-caps. I wholeheartedly believe he forgets to turn off all-caps, so even if he texts something as simple as a greeting it seems like he's screaming through text. He doesn't use emojis or abbreviations and slang, but it is funny to picture him sending GREETINGS HUMAN‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ with so many red exclamation point emojis.

Silver can't text very long messages otherwise he might fall asleep halfway through typing or while waiting for a response, so he usually texts what needs to be said. He's still very polite and sweet through text, always so princely.

I got somewhat emotional today

To be honest, when I joined for the first time the Art Fight of this year, I only expected myself to do the first attacks and get some kind defences or revenges, to hone my art skills and make some new friends in the process with any luck. But because of my sad situation with the computer that disables my tablet that I also used as screen, I can't do art properly. You don't know my surprise when I was checking my socials and I saw that someone made an "attack" on me on the website today, and when I saw what it was, I couldn't contain my tears.

Perhaps I'm a softie or something, but really, I didn't expect someone I barely knew to draw something for me without me doing the deed first 👉👈 And to top it all, as how things are going, it really is the first "fanart" I get of the characters of my AU, so the surprise was deeper for me, and I melted in the process, because it was not a single character but both of them in the same picture which is really optional but 🍏(hope you don't mind the ping @indecisive-vermin ) just made my day (or even my entire month) by drawing Spam and Sears together and... asdkjhfgkdajgfshfdgñ I don't know how to express my gratitude for that 💝

Yesterday I got to ponder on the designs of the Tasquelings. What it's giving me a bit of headache is the design of their parlourmaid suits and how that will interface with their bodies -- if to give them the classic uniform like the Swatchlings has their own butler uniforms, or to give them something unique... I had a mind of adding a Roomba companion to them for floor cleaning, while the Tasqueling works on something else in the guests rooms. Should I add cat ears to the Roomba? Decisions decisions 🤔In a sense while encountering the Tasquelings you should "fight" against the Tasqueling and a Roomba. I think I should stylize the name of the Roomba because of copyrights... Vy is my secondary DA2 protagonist, so I don’t have a lot prepared for her compared to Cirilla, but I’ll share what I have ^^

One of the things that I like to run with is that, instead of having my Hawkes be of the same personality archetype as their Malcolm, it’s the opposite. Cirilla’s dad is soft and gentle while she is grumpy and rebellious. As for Vy, her Malcolm was strict and demanding, so she grew up more insecure and meek in return. Vy was ultimately closer to Leandra than any other family member and internalized much of the same thought process & issues as her mother, for example: their struggles with love, individual freedom and responsibilities (and also their obsession with tidiness in my HC lol).

She loves her family to death and took care of them with dedication, as was expected of her, but there’s always a part of her - subconscious or not - that has always wanted Out. Then Vy’s closest with Isabela and Merrill bc to some extent they mirror 2 different aspects of Vy that she cant seem to reconcile, so she looks up to them a lot. For Isabela it’s her love for personal freedom, for the sea for sailing. And for Merrill it’s her passion and dedication toward restoring Dalish history. And then there’s Vy, so enamored with that freedom yet can’t reach for it, so deeply entangled with her duties yet cant commit to them wholeheartedly. So yes, compare contrast! Narrative foils that are just my jam! I’m not very sure if they would end up a romantic trio or queer platonic, I’ll have to restart her playthrough and decide later ^^

Other than that, she’s a neat freak as I mentioned above, a very methodical, organized and precise person, definitely into planners and labeling & colorcoding all her stuffs. She’s shy, prone to analysis paralysis & performance anxiety so she prepares extensively for everything in advance. She was taught archery first by Leandra, then trained further with a family of hunters they met when living on the move back in Ferelden, then got to master her skills during military service w Carver. She’s a great shot and a good hunter.
