today one of my most beloved friends forgot that people in england speak english.
it's been hours since then, and the thought still warms me through like holding a hot drink between your hands in a kitchen where someone was recently cooking, the air soft and spiced and smelling like home, lingering remnants of the effort of making a meal that's meant to be shared with others.
jesus fucking christ I love her so much. she's so stupid. I hope we stay friends until the day we die

OMFG, this is soooo important. I didn't have this; my family didn't do anything together except watch TV because my dad was retired and just needed to rest after his weary years of life. And my egg donor was never there in my life. I never learned crap from her because she was never there.
I learned more from my teachers and neighbors than anyone else, and once I got too old, they didn't want anything to do with me because I wasn't theirs and I had trauma that no one wanted to deal with, because I wasn't theirs.
I have a deep encompassing black hole in my life because of this lack of empathy for someone who just needed someone to be there for me...someone to actually be there and teach me hands on. Please be there for the next generations to come, because they won't have the systematic support that children who fall in the cracks have had when we were growing up, and even the little amount of support we have left these days in the US.
Be there for your children, or be there for those children who are not yours...be they your grandchild, nibling, neighbor kid, or students. Be a safe space, a safe harbor for their lives, and be the example I've never had in my life.
Create life in this time of destruction and harm that will be ahead...and know, we have each other, we have community, we have support, if we're able and willing to create it, even for those kids who seem weird, do weird things, and just embarrass and humiliate themselves because they just can't help it...since they're doing it because they haven't been taught the right way to do it in a way that will help them learn.
Teach why it is important for them to cook, to clean, to take care of themselves, to bathe and shower and clean areas that no one will talk about (hands off, of course), give them your silence so their voice can be heard, give them a place where they won't be looked at with judgement. Give them a loving manner without conditions. Allow them to talk about things that spew out of their minds, random things that no one else will talk about, and give them the opportunity to live without groomers opening them up to abuse.
When children are clean slates, they are open to abuse, to inappropriate touching, to violence, to malicious control, to brainwashing (gaslighting, negging, etc.), to abduction, to kidnapping, to illicit drugs*, and so much more.
Fill your children to the brim with your presence, with your time, with your attention, with your energy, otherwise someone else will fill them up with something worse, trauma, pain, suffering, emotional or psychological torture, and will resent you in their teens and into adulthood.
Don't get me wrong, my dad was always there, but that doesn't mean people were not able to get to me. He invited family and friends into the home all the time to spend time with me, to give me the parental figure I didn't have, but it didn't satisfy because they were never there but to see him and I was an afterthought. And thought he was there, he had people to keep me company and that one person abused me while he wasn't there, and he never knew, he never would have allowed me to stay with them during his heart attack.
One week of my life that damaged me beyond repair and forced me into a position to tell no one. I had no one to trust, had no one's attention, no one to understand with a look that something was wrong with me and I didn't want to go anywhere with this person. I was isolated and it traumatized me for life, and it's hard for me to trust anymore. I can trust mentally, but my body will not allow me to trust, my psychology will not allow me to trust, and it is hardest to reach out when I really needed someone, because I didn't have anyone who was willing to give me a safe space, a safe harbor.
Give children the chance to trust you. Trust is earned, not forced on others. Give them safety, security, and protection...even if they don't have that at home, school, or other places. Give them yours. Always. Choose them. Always.
*And as a side note, since illicit drugs are a lot of the time these days laced with fentanyl. Illicit drugs will most often not just be addictive, but be more often than in the past, lethal. Hospitals use patches to administer fentanyl because lethal doses are so miniscule. When it comes down it the addition of fentanyl leads to instant death. And a lot of the time, you don't know what illicit drugs are cut with, baby powder, heroin, cocaine, rat poison...but fentanyl is a game changer entirely.
Someday your hands will be old and wrinkled, the skin spotted and bunching over your knuckles. And a child will watch you make something. It's a simple task, you'll have done it a thousand times before. But to that child, the smooth, confident way your hands move will seem like impossible magic. You have to keep living.

I guess the issue that I take with the way people talk about kink stuff on this website and generally is that they understand and intuit that socially sanctioned normative "vanilla" sex is one of the primary sites of abuse and that alternative kink is not more immoral or prone to prejudice then it. which is all true. but then they sort of continue to imagine this divide between vanilla sex vs kink as if its a real tangible thing and not a flimsy social divider for alienating certain groups of people. so everyone talks about these things as if kink is like a meaningful category of behavior outside of what is and is not denigrated sexuality but it kind of just isn't. I don't think that sexuality effects people the way a lot of sex negative types imagine it to in which all fantasy is emblematic of true desire and all kink maps directly onto specific ideological beliefs or capacity for harm and there are "evil desires". but there's really no such thing as something being just a fetish, like, the implications of the word fetish is not an especially meaningful way of articulating the nature of a fixation, and people are very quick to boil down their fixations to fetishism as a means of nullifying them

Thomas {Hewitt}'s Interests
From a gal who's hyper fixating on this franchise
Tumblr media
So..I'd like to preface this by saying I do not live nor have ever lived in the Deep South or Midwest. BUT, I do visit the midwest often - which doesn't mean much but give me grace 😭🙏
____
Bone Collecting
I used to collect bones when I'd visit my grandparents up in the mountains - It was fun. I feel like he'd do the same {given his 'role'}. We already know he collects ears, teeth, eyeballs, even heads - and most definitely skin; So why not bones? He probably collected bones when he was younger - Maybe with Henrietta, if they happened to be close.
I like to imagine he has a box or shelf full of his 'collections'; He's got a whole museum in there I guarantee it. Some bugs, bones, bone fragments, hides, teeth, claws, rocks n' geodes, all sorts of naturally-occurring treasures.
General Foraging
In TCM 2003, Thomas is seen wearing rings which I doubt are his {though, they fit him pretty well}. He probably stole them from a victim - And he most definitely kept that engagement ring from Kemper. He'll take clothes, jewelry, books, photographs, toys, drawing utensils, wildflowers, bugs, abandoned artifacts, anything he likes really. He'd go HAM in a thrift shop, trust. I've been to thrift shops in the midwest - They are gold; Lots of old pictures, some racist things {which I do NOT thing are gold}, old jewelry, lots of gemstones, bones, license plates, clothes {obviously}, letters, toys, paintings / posters, vinyls, CDs, furniture, old guns, bullet shells, all kinds of forgotten treasures. I think Tommy would like it if the store was empty..
Sewing
This one's obvious - Thomas uses sewing as a form of catharsis; A way to transform himself just as he transforms the scraps of leather. We see his sewing machine in his room, along with mannequins and mannequin heads; Indicating sewing is something he does often. I doubt he only makes mask - Maybe casings, potential jewelry; He'd definitely make something for his partner or a close friend..not so much the family considering they aren't..the most grateful or encouraging.
His {The Family's} Animals
Despite his busy schedule, I'm sure Thomas likes to spend time with the animals on the Hewitt property. The canon animals {that we've seen so far} include Monty's dog {unnamed canonically}, three pigs, and a few chickens. Now, I know there's gonna be a crowd that spews "But Thomas worked in a slaughterhouse!! He wouldn't take kindly to animals!1!1!1!!" Just because I eat meat doesn't mean I don't adore animals - The meat I eat is from a dead animal. I'm quite literally eating its cooked carcass. Thomas is doing the same - Only he's doing the dirty work firsthand.
I don't know how connected he'd be to Monty's dog - considering that dog is with Monty all. the. time. - But he'd be really connected to the 'livestock'. The pigs don't seem too old - not piglets per se but not fully grown either. I assume Thomas or Luda Mae collect the eggs, meaning Thomas sees the animals quite a lot. He doesn't seem like the type to show too much physical {or verbal} affection - But his primary executions are through observation and care. {I headcanon his love languages as acts of service and quality time; Though he appreciates receiving words of affirmation.} He keeps the animals clean, well-fed, and healthy; Whilst occasionally spending time with them outside his daily chores.
Music
Okay, so ! I've been contemplating Thomas' music taste for a bit now, {previously posted about it} and I have a few inklings I'll try to share:
I've seen many people headcanon Thomas as a 'Kernel' {unofficial name for a Korn fan}; And while I love Korn myself, I don't see Thomas in the same light. Maybe he'd like some of their songs, but I envision him as an occasional nu-metal listener. Type O Negative reminds me of Tommy a lot - Don't know why. I don't think he'd listen to them a TON - But more often than Korn, maybe. If we look back to TCM 2003 from 37:10 to 37:20, Thomas plays something of the metal / rock genre. More heavy-metal than anything in MY opinion. Let's forget about timelines for a minute whilst we walk through this.
I previously stated that Thomas would potentially like bands such as Mortician, Alice In Chains, maybe SoundGarden, Metallica, Black Sabbath?, Pantera, Cannibal Corpse, Megadeth - Bands similar to these as well. This might be controversial but I don't think Thomas would mind country music. Hell, I think he'd listen to some Johnny Cash or The Highwaymen if it came on - Some classic, soulful country. It's not like his momma blasts it or anything...
Continuing on the family note; Skynyrd. That's all I have to say.
In all actuality; I'm sure Hoyt's music taste rubs off on Thomas a bit - I'm sure Thomas prefers metal, but he'll listen to rock just the same. Maybe a little Elvis, Skynyrd, AC/DC here and there; He's not too fussy.
____
Anway, ramble ramble, yappa yappa; This has gone on long enough - But I'd happily make more if the people want it {😈🙏}

Take care 🫀

Hello! I apologize for any awkward expressions, as I'm not American and not very proficient in English.
I wasn't part of the 9-1-1 fandom and watched it whenever I had time. It was a light show for me, but while watching 9-1-1, I hoped that Buck would find a partner to settle down with and be happy. (And I never felt even 1% of romantic feelings between Buck and Eddie.) When Buck broke up with Taylor, I understood the reason but felt regretful. After that, Tommy appeared as a meaningful LI. I sincerely cheered for Buck, seeing him happy.
I had high expectations for S8, but in 801, Tommy appeared briefly, and until 804, no one mentioned Tommy, which I found strange. Then I watched 805 and thought Henren's story was forced, but I liked Buck and Tommy's story. Then I watched 806, and... Buck and Tommy can break up. If it had been for a convincing reason like with Buck and Taylor, I would have been sad but understood. However, I couldn't understand the story in 806 at all, and the characters felt unfamiliar, as if they weren't the characters I knew. And the interviews with Tim and OS gave me trauma after enjoying watching 9-1-1 all this time.
Only Lou understood and empathized with me. I didn't know Lou and didn't remember Tommy from S2. I supported Buck and Tommy solely because Buck was happy... Especially OS's interview made me feel like Buck and Tommy were ignored as if they didn't exist. I don't usually have expectations for actors, but I was really disappointed. So, even though I subscribed to Disney+ annually because of 9-1-1, I no longer watch 9-1-1. I know that my not watching won't change anything. And I know that Tim doesn't have the ability to create good, creative stories. Knowing that Buck will just keep running in the same hamster wheel, I really lost expectations for Buck. Of course, knowing that other 9-1-1 characters besides Buck will also run in slightly different hamster wheels without development, I lost interest in the show itself.
Furthermore, I was honestly disappointed with the production team and the broadcasting company for not thinking of protecting the actor who was insulted and attacked in all sorts of ways just because they were Buck's LI. In the country where I live, if such a situation occurred, there would have been an official message from the broadcasting company and production team to stop the attacks and hatred.
I'm sorry for sending such a negative and pessimistic message. I wanted to confide in someone. Even if Tommy doesn't appear again, I plan to continue enjoying BuckTommy content on Tumblr and AO3, but I really miss the time when I was looking forward to and waiting for S8.
Hi, Nonnie! Sorry for taking a bit, physical therapy is kicking my ass rn lmao (kids do not tear your meniscus)
Okay by points. First of all - your English was perfect, don’t sweat it. English is my third language so Iunderstand where you come from, but you’re good!! Now:
you🤝me with this whole post. You were on my mind fr because I do share all of your thoughts.
Perhaps confession time: I liked Taylor! I ultimately understood why it wouldn’t work between Buck and her, but I liked her and I thought they were really cute. I was sad to see her go (although I’m glad by leaving we were able to eventually get Tommy)
Season 8 is the perfect illustration of something I’ve been thinking about 911 for a while - it is the land of missed potential. I’ve gone about it a few times so I won’t go over it again, but Season 8 is the perfect example of having lots they could do yet refusing to attempt to do it.
Your point on the break up is 100%. I would’ve actually understood and accepted it if it made sense in a larger scale, or if we had been introduced to it better. As it is, you do understand Tommy’s motives, but only if you look at the episode. Meaning: everyone acted so out of character during 806, it seemed like a different show. Therefore the break up (to me) does not make sense in a broader, more general view.
Your point on interviews: yeah I get it, sadly. The interviews left a sour taste in everyone’s mouth, because it did seem like Lou was the only one who truly cared for the couple and its fans. And for everyone who had been harassed for months for liking them, the nonchalant attitude of nearly everyone felt cruel and hurtful. It’s more than normal that many people felt like stop watching the show after it (me included). It does seem like OS has started to realize how big Bucktommy actually was and how liked they still are. So, progress? But it feels too little too late. Idk.
I also understand it does feel bad to see how they’ve ignored the bad treatment LFJr has received. Ofc we lack a lot of context (meaning: perhaps Lou himself asked them to ignore it, perhaps he did have a lot of support BTS), but the fact is that they let a group of deranged ‘fans’ bully and threaten an actor, and did nothing. No, instead it very much felt like those fans were being rewarded. It’s normal for us to not want to support that. I know I feel uncomfy with the idea of doing so.
We are lucky (infinitely lucky) that the Bucktommy fandom is filled with truly lovely and amazing people - people that are lovely to read, discuss with, and enjoy their art from!! If 911 doesn’t got my back, I know the BT fandom does ♥️
I hope you can continue to enjoy fandom life, anon! Ultimately they cannot take away what we enjoy!
My inbox is open for ranting, venting, giving opinions and confessions! And if you do not want them publish, please say so in your message 🥰 it’s cool with me, but I do need to know!
Take care <3

Men aren't capable of seeing the world outside of bdsm.
Like they literally cannot conceive of non hierarchical interactions.
So if you are nice to them they have to be mean. If you are mean to them they have to be nice.
This is unfortunately true of some women, also.
I think it's to do with Christianity somehow.
It's often comorbid with the idea that some people "belong" in different parts of the hierarchy and you always have to be mean to them, but if you are consistently mean to them, you often can hack them and force them to be nice to you. It's not easy because it's a specific kind of mean. You have to never allow them to think you don't believe you are better than them, and you have to be mean in an emotionally manipulative and humiliating way and you have to avoid ever allowing them see you in any form of pain. They must believe you're biologically incapable of feeling negative emotions. Not guilt, not shame, not self doubt, not remorse, not insecurity, not sadness or betrayal or fear or even anger.
People like this see every social interaction in the sense of a non consensual bdsm relationship.
They don't know they are doing it and if you call them out they will see that as weakness.
You cannot and should not ever interact with them if you are not willing to be the dominant.
They don't respect safewords or want to build a good experience for the sub like a real dominant would.
Many of them top from the bottom using guilt or shame or gaining trust to later betray someone but they believe if this is possible you deserve it.
They don't recognize the idea that other people are human outside of their roles as a positive thing and see it as a flaw. Literally they will punish any action or expression of emotion or preferences that don't fit the role of "better than this person and outrank them."
So you simply can only interact with them when you have the energy and ability and desire to do that to achieve specific ends.
They will try to trick you into interacting with them in other contexts.
This is why abusive men love commitment and living together and creating financial dependency and all that. They want to force you to do something that gives them what they view as permission to abuse you.
Don't give it to them.
Why are all men so mean🕯️

Just noticed something cool.
Tumblr media
This is yuyu's account, and she was in charge of the storyboard for Y6.
And those:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Are Yuki Nakazawa's fanarts. It's fanwork. But she worked on the official content.
The last one makes the set not so innocent. Why? It was published before Y6. So it's not exactly a spoiler but we have some people with media literacy in the link click fandom. This? Not rocket science. As flashy as the dead wife trope, if you ask me.
We'll talk about the set as a whole.
Before I get into it, Yuki Nakazawa also published another fanart which, in retrospect, was an actual easter egg: "And Then There Were None"
Tumblr media
This being established, we can assume there is something hidden there. Still, keep in mind that those are, once again, fanarts. It isn't going to stop me from noticing things. I recommend you look at each picture closely before you read any further.
First clue, which is solved: Vein is dead. Or pretending to be, probably. There are clear allusions of him leaving.
A word stands out: CAMFLAGUE. Twice actually: once on the poster and a second time on the magazine cover, concealed by Xia Fei's silhouette. This word? Not a word? it sounds a lot like CAMOUFLAGE though. Or so google keeps correcting me lmao.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
which is an interesting word to hide in plain sight when you notice there are also two attempts at disguising Xia Fei as Vein: the coat and the glasses.
CAMFLAGUE is a made up 9 letters word. The Chinese tended to view life diametrically. So when a change occurred in one aspect of life, that change was a result of a change in its opposite. Therefore, as a symbol of extremity, "9" in Chinese Culture is also a warning, a turning point. In ancient Chinese Classic Yijing, or the "Book of Changes", wherever number "9" appears, it is a crucial point of change and transformation. FELIX also contains the number IX.
There is a glint to Xia Fei's left earring, a ring, and to Vein's necklace, a moon. First, earrings symbolize beauty and strength in Vaishnavism while in Hinduism, earrings symbolize elegance, strength, and identity, serving as integral ceremonial adornments, embodying transformation and the sacred nature of beauty in various narratives. Second, in tarot reading, The Moon is a card of illusion and deception, and therefore often suggests a time when something is not as it appears to be. Much to think about.
Tumblr media
One object stands out in the bloody artwork of Vein: the blue and white Vase. Qinghua is traditional Chinese porcelain, painted in cobalt blue glaze on white porcelain. It's an art working on negative spaces. There are different patterns used for this technique, and lotus is one of them. I'm no expert in pottery, though there is obvious meaning lost in translation, as I love to tag it. However, the lotus is important motif, I can tell you that much. Mostly because of its relationship to Buddhism. Buddhism symbolism in Link Click is highly related to Vein's character (I made a long ass meta about this, go check it out if you have time to waste), specifically in term of "luck" and "enlightment".
Lastly, the artwork with Vein and the vase also show figurines of the characters in YINGDU. While a mini Lu Guang seems to be crying over a fallen Cheng Xiaoshi, Liu Xiao is looking right at Vein who is pointing at Xia Fei. It could mean many things so I won't expand on this gesture for now but it's worth mentioning.
In conclusion, I'd say there is a strong possiblity that Xia Fei might take Vein's place as Cheng Xiaoshi's killer, for revenge. He is looking for the truth and when he's going to find out who killed Vein, or who orchestrated his demise, he's going to go after them. He seems to have a good lead on people with powers too. And since he's studying applied physics, he might look for ways to give himself powers, artificially.
Tumblr media
Of course, the presence of Liu Xiao in the fanarts and in Xia Fei's life is important but, as always, the mystery around his character makes any theory kind of pointless?
Don't worry, I still have ideas!
His relationship with Xia Fei is important to what is to come in Link Click season 3, that much is obvious.
The PV shows Liu Xiao as Xia Fei's agent or something, while Vein is watching over him from a distance, through screens. We know there is some kind of partnership between them even before that, despite the canon fact Xia Fei strongly dislikes Liu Xiao for some reasons. I think Liu Xiao is taking care of him for his own interests, though.
In Buddhism, whispering in the ear symbolizes a confidential communication method, reflecting the importance of privacy and personal expression in decision-making processes. Of course, in the context of YINGDU, we know it means Xia Fei is giving information on Cheng XIaoshi and Lu Guang to Liu Xiao, but we still don't know to what end.
Tumblr media
Additionally, I'm working on a meta about what could be Vein, Liu Xiao and Xia Fei's powers. Basically, it's related to the fourth wall and how Link Click is starting to break it more and more in merch and other media. This meta made me think of it and I can't wait to share the concept with you all. It's based on the three wise monkeys that embody the proverbial principle "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil". Coincidentally, I do think Xia Fei is the one who speaks no evil and Liu Xiao is the one who hears no evil.
I think Xia Fei is just like Cheng Xiaoshi, emotion driven, but he's also very intelligent and surprisingly perceptive: he doesn't like Liu Xiao, he doesn't like working with/for him, he doesn't buy his friendly act. However, I don't see any future when he doesn't get used by Liu Xiao in his evil plans. With Vein out of the picture and Xia Fei's new motivation, it might not be easy to see through manipulations.
Wait and see!
Okay, that's all for today!

I love thinking about that one war table operation in The Frostback Basin called A Cultured Exchange where you recruit that one lady named Sigrid Gulsdotten who has a spirit best friend possessing her bc
1) Inquisition diversity, we love to see it
2) Leads to a stronger alliance with the Avvar and a better understanding of their culture, we love to see it
3) Its probably the war operation where Cullen is the most against it, and I don't mean that in a "haha fuck Cullen" way; I actively romance Cullen any chance I get so thats definitely not what I mean when I say that but no, I love thinking of the implications
Like, despite a cultural exchange being a very good thing for the Inquisition, Cullen's gonna fight tooth and nail for Sigrid to be watched and monitored bc ya know, he still gets nightmares about what happened in Kinloch Hold and now he's watching the Inquisitor accept an abomination with Open Arms (iykyk)
That's gonna freak him the fuck out and lead to some arguments at the war table, which is FASCINATING if Cullen and the Inquisitor are together
Give me the arguments! Give me the angst! Give me Cullen honestly feeling a bit betrayed bc he's opened up so much about what he's been through and now he finds out via a hidden note on a report that the love of his life just accepted an abomination into the Inquisition and hid it in a report instead of sending him a personal letter (which my Inky does often) warning him ahead of time
I've thought about this one mission so much
Like, Cullen and my Lavellan are actively arguing in front of Leliana and Josephine and they're trying to keep it professional but it's clear that the reason behind this argument is a lot more personal than either one is willing to say and MMMM THE ANGST
They eventually go into a separate room, argue it out some more, lay down the exact personal reasons behind this argument, eventually apologize to each other, and make a compromise where Cole, Varric, and Cassandra are sent to watch Sigrid during the cultural exchange Josie sets up and update Cullen specifically about the event
Cole's able to feel any negative vibes, Cassandra is a Seeker trained to deal with mages, and Varric is there for emotional support for Cole since he's more human now and might get overwhelmed with so many people seeing him and also him feeling their feelings. Varric's also just there for the fun of the event and to sell his book. Cassandra's in charge of writing the reports though
But ya, this operation has so much potential to me

genuinely don't understand many other self-published fiction people's approach to marketing, which seems to take its cues from like. people who sell self-help books, or like. fucking do drop shipping
your goal is to find the people who like work like yours and connect them with it.
i think it's really difficult for people to envisage this because they're just poisoned by commercialism & capitalism as exists today, where every company is basically trying to strongarm, manipulate, and trick every single person in the world into buying their product
it's not just stupid and impossible from a marketing perspective, even for whatever garbage they might be shilling, but it's particularly misguided to do for a piece of fucking art or entertainment
and part of it i suppose is just like. a lack of identity but also a desperate fear of rejection
in order to meaningfully think about who will like, love, identify with, crave, and otherwise want to engage with your work, you have to meaningfully think about the people who won't
and that's scary bc a lot of people want to be vulnerable by creating art but don't want to be perceived or judged
and certainly don't want to be rejected, or receive negative reviews, or have people say "egh, it's not my thing", as if that's going to be the immediate death knell on their career
but it's just like. the thing of "i must try to make everyone in the world buy my book" will lead to MORE rejection
idk man. who are you? what's your work, like, about, at the core of it? what are the problems in it? what's the pathos, the core tragedy or core comedy, the meaning? what makes it entertaining? what makes it fun, or miserable, or horrifying? why did you write it? that's why people will read it
what's funny is that i talk to straight people all the time who can't do this, and they think that the way i do it is just by being like. hey boys, i'm a homosexual crippled jew, and my work is about that. and then i sell my books to my fellow disabled gay jews and such
which, sure, a bit
but what my work is actually about is like. trauma and trauma recovery. making peace with the many limits of your body and your relationships, and the limitations placed on you by your scars or your circumstances. fucked up monster sex, which is itself radical acceptance of the horror of our bodies
a lot of gayjew cripples and trans folk identify with that shit because… you know. of fucking course
but a lot of other people do as well, my work is in many ways informed by my identity, but the core themes aren't
many people DON'T like my work bc it's not plotted or structured traditionally
"what was the point?" many disappointed readers ask. "there's no actual STORY here," many complain. "nothing happens," many understandably grumble.
any jew or homosexual will tell you - there's no story. there's just suffering, and then you try to make it better, and then there's more suffering.
but you try to make it better, and it gets a bit better. you take your painkillers, you put balm on the wound. you fall down - maybe someone pushes you down. doesn't matter. get up again.
and for a lot of people, that's fucking dull as shit. where's the adventure? where's the fucking stakes?
and that's fine. there's plenty of books written for those people, they're just not written by me. i'm too busy doing my thing. and what i'm also too busy doing is selling my work to people who actually WANT it, rather than trying to trick people into buying it who won't.
part of the horror of meaningfully looking at your work and going, "okay, who is this for, and who is it NOT for?" is like. not just accepting your limitations, but also having genuine faith in your work. some people won't like it, but some people will fucking adore it. and you have to lean into it
and mostly stop paying for fucking facebook ads. jesus wept. what's wrong with you.

I don't want that.
I want to be loved by someone who would never hurt me. Even if it means they don't get to act on their love as much as they want.
I don't want to be loved unless it's by someone who wants me to be happy more than they want to satisfy their own desires for me or to be around me or however you want to put it.
Everyone always loves me with reckless abandon but the reckless abandon always includes total disregard for my happiness or well being. Everyone who has loved me my entire life has seen me as the perfect thing to squash into the shape of the hole inside them. Whenever someone had loved me it's been like a drug addict or a cult leader.
I don't want to be loved at all.
I want all the relationships in my life to be explicitly transactional with written expectations of both side of the arrangement and consent and a way for both parties to leave with no negative financial or social repercussions on either side and no promises made that no one intends to keep or negging or gaslighting or manipulation.
Just honest fucking. Honest employment with no company culture or brainwashing. Honest friendship that consists of company.
I'm tired of getting smashed up by people and them claiming it's love.
I'm tired of people nurturing me and then taking away the things they helped me with if it means I'm less dependent on them.
I never liked being told how to dress and what to wear and what I was allowed to dislike and not allowed to say no to.
I sort of wish I was a tree so the only things I needed were sunlight and rain and being left alone. Being a pack animal is like constantly being told you're wrong and you owe it to other people to stop being yourself and you don't matter.
I want my life to be about me. Not in a way where I want to take other people's lives away from them. But I don't want to be loved because my experience of love is that it's when someone comes along and punishes you and tells you how evil and selfish you are for wanting to do anything that makes you happy except for them.
you deserve to be loved with reckless abandon even if you dont think you do

You and Kate are lying in your bed, she has her head on your chest and you have an arm around her. The two of you are quiet as you relax after having sex. You sit up a little in the bed and pull out a joint from the drawer in the desk that sits next to your bed. You light it and take a drag. You offer a hit to Kate, as you always do but this time she declines and snuggles her head into your chest more.
“I’m late,” she mumbles as she holds onto you.
“Oh shit, you have a class right now?” You laugh as you try to pull her off.
“No, I'm done with classes for the week,” she replies.
“Then what are you late for? Work? I thought you only work when you're home for the summer.” You take another drag.
“I do,” Kate pouts as she draws invisible shapes on your chest with her finger.
“Then what are you late for?” you set the rest of the joint down on your ashtray. “Do you have something going on for your sorority? Because you seem awfully calm about being late.”
You look into her soft blue eyes and see something serious in them that makes your heart start to beat a little faster. “I’m actually pretty terrified right now,” Kate admits.
You gulp as you come to the conclusion on what she means but you won't say anything about it until she confirms it. Until she says the words. “Kate, what are you late for?”
“My menstrual cycle,” she answers softly.
“Okay,” you start calmly, “have you taken a test? I mean, we've been pretty careful… well most of the time.”
“I was too scared to check without you,” she admits in a small voice. You can't help but stroke her hair. She looks so scared and you aren't quite sure how to comfort her.
“Do we need to go get some?”
“No, I brought some with me. I,” she takes a breath, “I planned on coming here to do that but when I saw you… ugh I couldn't resist doing this!”
“Hey, hey, it's okay. We'll just get dressed and I'll get you some fluids and we'll get you peeing, okay?” Kate nods as you rub her arm to comfort her. “Do you think checking after sex will give a wrong result?” you ask as you jump out of your bed and gather clothes. “Do you have a drink preference? Wait, you probably don’t need something to drink. You usually pee after sex. Unless, are you too nervous? Shit! What do you need from me, Kate?” There are very few times you are ever wishing that you were never born with a penis and right now is one of those times.
Kate stands up and grabs your hands to calm you down and calls your name until you stop rambling and look at her. “I will take the water.”
The five minutes while the two of you wait for the results are the longest minutes of your lives. You sit next to Kate and hold her hand. You try to stay calm but this was nerve wracking. One second she's bouncing on your dick and calling screaming your name and then next she's telling you she might be pregnant. You don't get how this could have happened.
The test, thankfully, comes out negative. The both of you are filled with relief. No baby is on the way. No stress of having to make a decision on whether or not to keep it. No spur of the moment marriage proposal. The two of you can go another day to be irresponsible.
“How should we celebrate?” You ask when you toss the test.
Kate takes your hand and guides you to her bed. You sit in the edge as she lowers herself between your legs. She unzips the fly of your jeans and pulls your limp dick out of your pants. You smirk as you watch her wrap her plump lips around the head of your xockm. “Yeah, that's a great way to celebrate.” You bite your lip as you tangle your fingers in her hair.
You thrust you hips up slightly against her mouth as you feel yourself harden while her lips work her magic on you. You groan as she starts to use her hands on the rest of you as your dick grows in her mouth. “Fuck, Kate.”
She smirks as she looks up at you and takes her shirt off. She pushes her supple breasts together and slipps your thick cock between them. You thrust your hips as she licks the tip of your penis while you fuck her tits. You groan excitedly.
“Where?” You asks since you're close.
“Already?” She smirks.
“Shut up, where?” You groan as you prepare to cum all over her face right now.
She giggles as she drops her breasts and wraps her lips around your cock again. You pump your load into her mouth as her cheeks inflate. But she doesn't let a drop escape. You shudder as you pull your dick away from her mouth and wipes her lips and finish swallowing your load.
Her phone pings and she gets up to check it. You know that ringtone of hers. It's specific to her secret business. Her OnlyFans account. You weren't sure how you felt about it since the two of you began seeing each other exclusively.
“Now I need you to behave yourself. I need to work,” she says as she waves you off her bed. You stand with your dick still hanging out of your pants. She sets up her tripod and pulls out a box of toys from underneath her bed.
You sigh and start to stuff your dick back inside of your pants.
“Where do you think you're going?” Kate asks.
“You want me to stay?”
“Yeah, sit in that chair in the corner. I need you babe. I can't get off anymore without you. It's made my job… work,” she frowns as she changes into her lingerie. You obey her request and sit on the chair in the corner of her room. Watching her from the other side of the camera. You sit with your dick, that's still wet from her lips and watch as she gets into character for whatever sick fucker paid her for the video call.
“Mmm you want me to use that big boy? Oh, I hope it fits in my tiny tiny pussy,” she says in a high pitched voice. You had never heard her sound so pornographic before. You watch as she pulls out a dildo from her toy box and you smirk as it's half your size. She can most definitely handle that dildo. “It's stretching me deep inside zaddy,” she says as she makes a face.
You lick your lips as your dick starts to wake up again. She is riding that silicon cock pretty hard as she makes fake noises of pleasure. It shouldn't turn you on as much as it does but you watched a lot of porn as a teenager. You start to stroke yourself as Kate watches you. She bites her lips as she grips her breasts. She starts to rub her clitoris to get a release. You can hear the moans of the man on the computer and you almost want to shut the computer off but you know it's better to keep from upsetting her client.
Kate can see that you're struggling and she smirks before she puts on a big show of “finishing” for the client. When the man logs off, Kate beckons you over. You shut the laptop closed on the way over. You watch as she pulls the dildo out of her dripping pussy.
“Finish me,” she begs. You toss your clothes and climb on top of her. You kiss her passionately. Your tongue wrestles with hers. You shove your cock deep inside of her. She moans as you pump inside of her. You feel yourself getting close early again. You don't know what has made you so sensitive. You pull out and stroke yourself until you're spurting all over her breasts.
“Sorry,” you say through your groans. You move to put your head between her legs. “I'll take care of you, baby. Don't worry.” You promise against her pussy lips. You lick her moist lips moaning as you taste her. It's become your favorite flavor. You slip your tongue inside of her hole for a few seconds then move to suck on her clitoris. She moans as she pulls in your hair. You hum against her pussy as your hand blindly searches for her dildo.
Kate helps you find it. She places it in your hand. As you continue to pleasure her with your tongue you align the dildo and press the tip in her entrance. You fuck her with the dildo until she is screaming and shuddering. Her intense orgasm causes her to squirt on your face.
You pull away breathlessly with a grin as she continues to squirm on her bed.
“Good thing we don't have to worry about a kid. We'd never get to be that loud again,” you joke with a short laugh as you wipe your face.
Kate scoffs and rolls her eyes. “You'll knock me up soon enough and you know it.”
“Shut up,” you start to stroke your cock again, “or I'll shut you up.”
Kate smirks with a mischievous gaze.
The End.

Do I think Vi is a good sister to Jinx? Not really. Do I think Vi is a bad sister to Jinx? Also not really. Me personally, I do dislike Vi for some of the ways she treats Jinx but I honestly don't see the point in arguing whether or not she is a good or bad sister. I don't see how the nature of her relationship is something worth judging.
As I thought about this last night it made me realize that in this fandom, we judge characters not only by their actions and beliefs but also on their relationships with others and I wanted to explore this.
1. Who?
I noticed that not all characters are judged for their relationships. For some characters it's never even brought up. The main characters that get judged the most for their relationships are Vi, Vander, and Silco. What's special about these three is that their familial relationship is what gets them either the most love or the most hate. It is directly tied to if they are liked or not. For example one of the main reasons people dislike Silco is his relationship with Jinx and one of the main reasons people like Vander is his relationship with Vi. There have been several debates on whether or not Silco is a good dad and whether or not Vander is a good dad. I think it's interesting that we're ONLY concerned with these two and we let all the other parents slide. I've seen no debates on whether Cassandra or Tobias were good parents to Caitlyn. No one has asked if Marcus is a good dad or not. No one seems interested in Singed being a parent. No one talks about Ximena Talis's parenting. I've seen some talk about Ambessa as a parent but nearly not enough.
This could be because all of these characters are minor characters and we don't spend much time getting to know them as people OR as parents. But still I feel like they should be examined as Silco and Vander are. Why is it that only some parents are to be judged? Or rather, why does the parenting of a few characters greatly impact their image in the fandom? Just to give a point of reference, Marcus is viewed negatively in the fandom, Cassandra is viewed neutrally in the fandom, Singed is viewed negatively in the fandom, and their parenthood is NOT the main reason they've received the treatment they've received.
2. Definition
The fandom judges Silco and Vander for being good/bad dads but the fandom doesn't collectively share a definition for what a good or bad dad is. Does being a good parent mean that your children are provided for? If it does, then Vander is a good dad because all his kids have food on the table, clothes on their backs, and a roof over their heads. Does being a good parent mean discipling your children? If so, then Cassandra is a good parent because of her roughness with Caitlyn's decisions. Does being a good parent mean being gentle and nurturing to your children? If it does, then Silco is a good dad for handling Jinx the way he does. Does being a good parent mean something else, some other factor or trait i haven't described? Does being a good parent mean that you are all of these things in one? If so, then neither Silco, Vander, or Cassandra are good parents.
The point I'm making is that being seen as a good/bad parent is entirely subjective. It is based on one's own opinion and experience with parents in their history. There is no definition for being a good parent because everyone sees it differently, and the same can be said the other way around. For some people, a bad parent is a parent who beats their children. For others, a bad parent is a parent who isn't emotionally present for their children. I don't think these characters should be judged for the nature of their relationships with their children. I think they should be judged on their actions within that relationship and how they treat their children. For example we see Vander be soft and caring towards the girls but the boys don't receive that treatment. Both of those attitudes are worth calling out.
3. Blame
What makes this even more curious to me is that one certain perspectives are being judged. The question is always is "Silco a good dad?" and it's never "Is Jinx a good daughter?". It's always "Is Vi a good sister?" And never "is Jinx?" That might be an odd thing to say, it might be a thing that has some controversial implications but I think it's worth pointing out anyway. I'm not saying that the opposite party should be judged just as harshly I'm just pointing out we only ever seem to care about one side in the relationship and we never talk about the other side. And again, if we were to judge the children in this example we would run into the same problem with the parents: there is no definition for being a good child it is subjective.
4. Why?
At the top of this post, I said "this fandom" and truly it isn't just this fandom, it is other fandoms as well, it is occasionally real life as well, but it is so rampant in this fandom. We've been having the same exact conversations since 2021, and just when you think we're past it you'll see another post providing more evidence and commentary, rehashing shit that should have been hashed eons ago. I'm not trying to undermine the importance of being a good sister or father, I'm just saying I don't see why our perceptions of these characters hinges on that, when in real life we don't really judge people like this. We'll judge parents, yeah, but I don't think siblings are as judged as parents.
Why is it so important that Vi is a good sister? Why does it even matter? And better yet, let me ask you a real question: Would Vi be judged as much for her relationship with Jinx if Vi and Jinx were the same age? Because I think a lot of the fandom's perception of Vi and Jinx has to do with their age difference.
If there's one thing you take away from this post, let it be this: Vi is simultaneously a good and bad sister. Vander is simultaneously a good and bad father. Silco is simultaneously a good and bad father. They are all equal amounts of both because it is entirely up to YOU to make the decision of whether or not they are good.
If you see someone say Vi is a bad sister, they aren't wrong. If you see someone say she's a good sister, they also aren't wrong. If you see someone saying Silco is a bad dad, they aren't wrong. If you see someone say Silco is a good dad, they aren't wrong. If you see someone say Vander is a bad dad, they aren't wrong. If you see someone say Vander is a good dad, they aren't wrong.
Ultimately there are things that these three did right and things they did wrong, and we have to honor both of those. Just because Silco is a "good dad" doesn't mean he didn't do bad things in his relationship. Just because Silco is a "bad dad" doesn't mean he didn't do good things in his relationship. This applies to the others as well. There are positives and negatives in all of these relationships. For some people the positives will outweigh the negatives and for others the negatives will outweigh the positives. What's most important, in my opinion, is that we do not judge these characters solely of their relationships but that we judge the actions they took in those relationships, the attitudes they had, the affects they had, etc.

I’ve never actually watched a campaign of critical role live, like I first heard of it at the start of c3, didn’t finish campaigns 1 and 2 until episode like 80, and decided to just let c3 finish airing so I could binge. You’ve been in fandom since c2, and I wanted to ask two questions. How does criticism of c3 differ from c2, or even c1? Also, since the fandom has grown and the cast is now much more removed from the fans, do you think if they ever do another long form campaign they’ll try and address some complaints people have had about c3? Or will they just continue to do their own thing? It just feels (to me with no point of comparison) that a lot of people have a lot of valid complaints about c3 and I can’t imagine they’d just ignore all of it, but I could just be naive
Let me answer the ending question first, which is that I do not know how much the cast sees and honestly I wouldn't even blame them for ignoring most commentary during the campaign because I think it's hard to actually run a campaign constantly trying to make the fandom happy. I also have some guesses that the cast has their own doubts that are perhaps less harsh than what many of us have been saying, but are present. Like I can't imagine they missed how rushed the emotional beats of this campaign felt, and how bad this party is at making decisions that feel earned and interesting and don't take them 3 hours, even if they might keep that private. I think the flaws of this campaign are also a bit of a perfect storm, namely, Matt had a very specific plot in mind but ran this campaign with too open a hand, and the cast of characters they played could have used a bit more balance. I mean, I'll admit to being unimpressed by a few of Bells Hells' initial premises compared to other parties, but most actually could have become great if they were in a more character-tailored campaign like the previous two. I think without this goal of creating a big culmination in a hypothetical future campaign, this problem of having ill-suited characters for that type of plot and then pushing development aside in the service of that culmination becomes a nonissue.
Now, fan criticism. This gets tricky, because a lot of criticism, to be blunt, sounds similar on the surface no matter how valid it is. For example, "this ship lacks chemistry and development" is basically a criticism people throw at any ship they dislike. Chemistry is ultimately subjective, or at least impossible to measure in a meaningful way (this is why the But Number Go Up crowd hates when it gets brought up, like, doesn't matter how many fics your ship has if I think the characters are cold fish with each other; I'll never like it) and development is not but requires strong meta to back it up and it's hard to prove a negative.
Shipping aside, though: I think the clincher for me is that people who ended up disliking Campaign 2 any time between the ending of the hiatus or after the finale, were as a rule invested in one very specific outcome: either they quit because their ship didn't happen (including the many, many people who thought Fjord and Jester or Beau and Yasha would break up in the finale, apropos of nothing); in the case of Shadowgast that the ship didn't happen in the way they expected; or they quit because Molly was not resurrected. There was certainly a lot of trepidation going into the finale that not all stories would have a satisfying conclusion (notably Caleb, Yasha, and Fjord, all of whom did get meaningful resolution in the finale) but, at least in my circles, no one was arguing that the Nein as a whole felt robbed and that the campaign did them dirty. You had the weirdass Caduceus stans who failed to understand that his story was precisely what he wanted, or the Caleb Should Have Killed Everyone In The Assembly people, but honestly at least in my recollections a lot of those were secondary to various shipping/Molly complaints and grew out of there as a means to bash the campaign for additional reasons, rather than as a root cause for dissatisfaction themselves. Here, we have people who are ostensibly thrilled with the shipping outcome and the endstate with the gods becoming mortal and who were crowing about that up until the finale announcement at which point they, in their own words, crashed out and suddenly began agreeing with everything this campaign's detractors had said re: lack of character-focused arcs and rushed pacing, and I think that's notable.
I don't feel qualified really to speak about Campaign 1 because I wasn't there, but I think in addition to the violent misogynistic hate which Critical Role obviously did not nor should have listened to and taken as guidance, there was the usual "MY SHIP DIDN'T HAPPEN SO THIS CAMPAIGN IS BAD AND PROBLEMATIC" complaints we saw with Campaign 2.
I guess my point is, getting back to that first paragraph about shipping, you can't go off of the phrasing of criticism; you really do need to take it in context.

I don't usually respond to these kinds of things publicly, but I feel pretty strongly about the utility of "playersexual." Because the internet is vast, I don't doubt people are using the term in the way described above- but I don't think that's an effective argument against the term's usefulness in discussion.
Playersexual provides an important term to differentiate *canonically bisexual characters* and those who happen to have the sexuality required for the player to court them. By calling a character playersexual, I can critique how their sexuality isn't an explored element of their character.*
I really like VerilyBitchie's video on the topic. Its a few years old now, but she brings up a lot of examples of meaningful bisexual representation vs lazy** bisexual rep:
youtube
* I know characters being impacted by their sexuality is a bit of a debate in the community. My stance is that I do not feel represented if my experiences aren't actually being explored in the text. I don't really like escapist queer fantasy because I don't live in a world like that. I may write it *myself* for fluff, but if a work is going to be meaningful to me, it has to connect to my experiences and not *just* my sexual preference.
**i mean lazy here as like, underdeveloped? I wouldnt call a romance system particularly good unless it has something interesting to say about the sexuality of its characters. But if the romance/ complex character writing isnt a focus of the game then it wouldnt negatively impact my experience of the game
They’re Not “Playersexual”, You’re Just Biphobic
(I was going to save this until September 23 because I thought that would be an appropriate date, but the Ask I got included in this essay just put me over the edge. So, here it is now. Buckle up.)
Bisexuality/Pansexuality is the attraction to people regardless of gender. About 4% of the USA alone (over 13.6 million people) openly identify as bisexual, according to Gallup’s latest polling. But unfortunately, bi/pan identities are so scary to some folks that they need to make up terms to avoid calling their favourite characters such. Thus, the term “playersexual” was born: a term to describe a game character who is attracted to the player character... regardless of gender.
If that sounds like it’s just a circuitous way of describing a bi/pan character, it’s because it is.
I first heard of the term “playersexual” almost a decade ago, from a Dragon Age fan complaining that Dorian was gay and thus it was “unfair” that she couldn’t romance him as female character. This fan said they wished BioWare would go back to Dragon Age II’s model of everyone being “playersexual” for “equality”.
Now, if you’ve actually played DA:2 and you’re not a bigot, you’re probably rolling your eyes just as hard as I did when I first read such a ridiculous statement. Well, prepare for this next one:
“When you make a male Hawke, Anders and Fenris are gay and Merrill is straight. Opposite is true if you make a female Hawke.”
These people are so afraid of bisexuality that they cannot even fathom its existence. They can believe in dragons and magic, but they cannot believe that a character is simply bi/pan. I find this especially hilarious for Anders, considering he had a canonical boyfriend, as confirmed both in-game and in The World of Thedas: Vol. 2 book.
I truly thought we were past this nonsense in 2023. I really, truly thought that. But then Baldur’s Gate 3 was released in full, and suddenly these same fuckers came out of the woodwork to bend over backwards avoiding calling these characters anything except bi/pan.
Tumblr media
Note how in the above Ask, the anonymous questioner actually doubles down on avoiding addressing these two characters in particular as bi/pan!
“Playersexual” doesn’t even truly work for the characters of Baldur’s Gate 3 regardless, because the definition is oriented around attraction to the player character… which these characters are not exclusively attracted to. Here are some examples that prove otherwise:
If neither Lae’zel nor Astarion/Gale/Wyll are in a romance with the PC, Lae’zel will say she plans on propositioning one of the men for sex at the night of the tiefling party. She also flirts with Karlach in party banter.
Shadowheart expresses interest in Karlach, (“I like her. She looks like she could throw me over her shoulder and carry me to safety, should the need arise”) as well as Halsin if he leaves the party, (“he may have been misguided, but I liked looking at him.”)
Astarion flirts with nearly everyone in the party, but to just pick two examples: he mentions Wyll is the type of princely figure he used to dream about marrying, and says to Shadowheart “such a grim name for such a beautiful flower”.
Gale used to date Mystra. He also debatably flirts with Astarion by offering him some blood, after Cazador’s battle.
Wyll flirts with Lae’zel in party banter, and also refers to Halsin as a “delight” and “hunk”.
Karlach seems to have a little crush on Jaheira by the way she reacts to meeting her. She also says of Halsin, “everyone in this camp wants to climb that oak”.
Please keep in mind these are just a few examples I’ve picked out from screening through the dialogue, and there’s even more that prove the attraction to different genders these characters have is not related solely to the player. It’s just part of their identities.
In the Ask sent to me above, the anonymous questioner said they “cannot see Karlach as anything except lesbian and Astarion as gay.” This is just as bad as saying they are “playersexual” in my opinion, because yet again it’s erasing their bisexuality/pansexuality. Worse yet, it’s doing it because of the way the characters act. You cannot measure queerness based on actions and appearances being in line or not with queer stereotypes—it’s not a scale! And bi/pan folks are just as queer as lesbian and gay men, by virtue of simply being bi/pan!
All in all, I think this entire “playersexual” debate boils down to the fact that some people still refuse to see bi/pan identities as anything but “discount straight”. And that’s why people are rightfully angry when folks try to further this myth by pretending bi/pan characters don’t actually exist.

hihi, just wanted to say i loved the demo (and clive) !! the game is so intriguing i scoured your entire account for more information on him (kinda stalkerish of me, sorry ^^;;) but i'm so curious about him!! I'll try to keep things brief though lol... no.1 - i think you mentioned this either in-game or in an ask, but since clive comes from a foster home/ Italian educational center (? not sure how to word this 😭😭) does this mean the story takes place in italy/clive's canonically Italian? no.2 - does he have any comfort foods/dishes? (I'll learn them if so 🙏🙏) no.3 - will he replace the stuffed animal i cuddle at night???? (clive plz say yes i'm begging) your game is coming along so beautifully and i hope you take care of yourself !! art takes time so please don't rush yourself!! wishing you all the best 💗💗
THANK YOU SO SO MUCH!! I'm really glad you're enjoying the demo!
The story actually takes places in any country of your choice. I only included school systems I'm familiar with- mainly the italian school system and how educational communities work, since they can be pretty traumatizing if you end up with a bad team. As for where Clive is actually from(?)- I decided to leave that blank, even for him. His real parents are...pretty messed up, mostly his mom, since his dad left. I didn't want his origins to feel tied to that situation in a negative way, because I would never want to imply anything like that. But I'll admit I do like using random country flag generators for my ocs as a way to research and learn about different cultures ( behavior), and the first result I got for Clive was Poland. So, he was originally meant to be Polish! if that doesn't make anyone uncomfortable, I'll leave it that way.
Clive loves sweets! especially anything strawberry flavored. Just picture this huge, intimidating guy at the gym with his pink strawberry flavored protein shake JAJSKA. If you bake him anything with strawberries, he's basically marrying you (not that he wasn't already, JK).
his honest reaction: (he's your plushie now)

Why I don't associate myself with the ranfren fandom
I love ranfren, i really do, i love the comic the art and the silly concept, but the fandom itself is so fucking insufferable. (EXCEPT FOR MY MOOTS ILY GUYS) the amount of CRIMINAL shit I see in the ranfren confession is genuinely just fucking cringe.
"Ranfren is supposed to be weird!!" It doesn't mean you can just say you want to RAPE Randal if he were a shotacon?? Even as a joke that's fucking disgusting. You have a problem to who ever made that confession, and it's not funny. I dont care if you have a mental problem, either get help or keep that shit in a diary.
The other reason, it's draining as stupid as it sounds, the amount of drama and like I said people in the fandom in it just creates a negative fandom space, yes a lot of fandoms have that side but it isn't usually as bad as whatever the hell this is. There might be worse out there but from my experience this is just fucking ridiculous.
Like I said, I still love ranfren a lot. But I just don't want to be associated to the fandom in such a way. ESPECIALLY with anon asks telling me that having DNI weirdos and being a ranfren fan at the same time is crazy. No it's not. There's a difference between being weird and being WEIRD. Weird being a fucking pedophile lolicon thing and the other weird is just liking weird things like horror, paranormal, Taxidermy and stuff like me.
But yeah that's what i have to say. REMINDER THAT THIS IS NOTT TARGETED TO MY MOOTS, ILY GUYS W MY FAGGOT HEART ♥️
