You’ve been dating Paige for a couple of months now, and somehow, everything still feels brand new. Each time you’re with her, it’s like your heart never quite learned to stop fluttering. She’s become the center of your world, and while things got serious between the two of you quickly, it feels just right—like you’ve found something rare. Something special.
You sit on the bleachers, watching Paige at practice. The squeak of sneakers on hardwood echoes through the gym as her team runs drills, but your focus is all on her—her sharp movements, the way she commands the court with such ease. You catch her looking over at you from time to time, and each time, you can’t help but grin. Paige grins back, shaking her head, as if she knows she’s getting distracted but can’t help it.
As practice winds down, you make your way down to the court. Paige jogs over, her face flushed from exertion, but there’s that familiar spark in her eyes when she sees you. “You’re trouble, you know that?” she says, laughing as she wipes sweat from her forehead.
“Oh yeah? How so?”
“You’re all I could think about today. Coach is probably going to kill me for zoning out so much.”
You smirk, leaning closer. “Glad to know I’m getting in your head, Bueckers.”
Later, in her dorm, the two of you are sprawled out on her bed, just talking. The conversation drifts to your first impressions of each other, and you start reminiscing about how you always dreamed of dating someone like her back in high school.
“You know,” you begin, eyes tracing the ceiling as you talk, “I used to fantasize about dating someone on the basketball team. Like, I wanted to be that person who wore their jersey on game days, made posters, and cheered them on from the front row. But... I never got to do any of that.”
Paige is quiet for a moment, but you can feel her eyes on you. When you glance over, she’s smiling—soft, thoughtful. “Why not?”
“I don’t know, I guess I never had the chance. It was always just a daydream.”
Paige sits up, crossing her legs as she reaches for something. You watch as she pulls out one of her jerseys from a drawer and holds it out to you. “Well,” she says, her voice playful but sincere, “now you can.”
Your heart skips a beat. “Seriously?”
“Yeah, seriously. Wear it to the next game. Make a poster if you want. Go all out.”
You take the jersey from her, the fabric soft and warm in your hands, and your smile grows impossibly wide. “You’re gonna regret this,” you tease, already imagining the scene in your head.
“Not a chance,” she replies, leaning over to kiss your cheek. “I can’t wait to see it.”
───
It’s been a rough day. That exam you’d been stressing over for weeks didn’t go the way you’d hoped, and the weight of it presses down on you as you slump into the chair in Paige’s dorm. You’re quiet, distracted, the disappointment gnawing at you, and Paige notices immediately.
“Hey,” she says softly, her voice cutting through the fog in your mind. “You okay?”
You try to smile, shrugging it off. “Yeah, just... had a bad exam. It’s fine.”
But Paige knows you better than that.
She doesn’t push, just crosses the room with that easy grace she always has, sitting down beside you. Her presence alone feels like a comfort, like a steadying force in the middle of your chaos. She reaches for your hand, her fingers warm as they intertwine with yours.
“Talk to me, baby.” She says gently.
You sigh, running your free hand through your hair. “I just—I don’t know. I thought I had it. I studied, I worked so hard, and still… it wasn’t enough.” Your voice cracks a little at the end, and you hate how vulnerable it sounds, how it feels like everything you’ve been holding together is coming undone in front of her.
Paige shifts closer, her hand giving yours a reassuring squeeze. “I get it,” she murmurs, her tone soft but strong. “But one bad exam doesn’t change anything. You’re still amazing, and you’re still working your ass off. You’re going to be okay.”
Her words settle over you like a blanket, warm and steady, but it’s not just what she’s saying—it’s how she’s saying it. Like she believes in you so fully, even when you don’t believe in yourself. You glance up, meeting her blue eyes, and there’s nothing but sincerity there, nothing but love.
Paige shifts again, her hand moving to your back, tracing gentle circles between your shoulder blades. The touch is tender, unhurried, and it’s enough to ease some of the tightness in your chest. She leans in, pressing her forehead to yours. “I’m proud of you, baby. No matter what.”
The words hit you deep, and you feel a lump forming in your throat. You close your eyes, letting the warmth of her touch and her presence sink into you. For a moment, the disappointment fades, replaced by this quiet moment between the two of you. Paige’s breath is warm against your skin, her fingers steady as they trail up and down your back, grounding you.
“I don’t deserve you,” you murmur, the words slipping out before you can stop them.
Paige pulls back just enough to look at you, her brow furrowing slightly. “Don’t say that.” Her voice is firm, but there’s a softness to it. She leans in, kissing the corner of your mouth. “You deserve everything. You’re strong, and kind, and... I love you. That’s not changing because of some exam.”
The way she says it, the way her voice wraps around those three words, makes your heart swell. You’ve heard her say it before, but right now, in this moment, it feels like an anchor, pulling you out of the spiral of doubt and frustration.
You nod, swallowing hard, and Paige gives you a small, comforting smile before pulling you into her arms. You let yourself melt into her, your head resting on her shoulder as she holds you close. She smells like clean laundry and faintly of the gym, but to you, it’s the most comforting scent in the world.
She rubs your back in slow, soothing motions, her lips brushing against your temple. “I’m here, okay? Always.”
And somehow, with her arms around you and her quiet reassurances in your ear, the weight on your chest feels lighter. Not gone, but manageable. You sigh, feeling the tension leave your body, and you press a soft kiss to her collarbone in silent gratitude.
“Thank you,” you whisper, your voice barely audible.
Paige just holds you tighter, her cheek resting against your hair. “Always,” she repeats softly, her fingers tracing slow, calming lines along your arm. And in that moment, wrapped up in her warmth and her love, the world doesn’t feel quite as heavy anymore.
───
"KK, you’re so shit." Ice yells, her voice cutting through the room as she throws her controller down dramatically. “How did you let me get sniped like that?”
KK rolls her eyes, her fingers still flying over the buttons. “Maybe if you weren’t running out in the open like a sitting duck, you’d be alive.”
Laughter erupts from the room, Paige chuckling beside you as her character jumps off a cliff in-game to make a quick escape. You sit close to her, legs tucked up under a blanket the two of you are sharing, your shoulder pressed against hers. The warmth of the blanket is nothing compared to the heat radiating between you, especially with how Paige’s arm occasionally brushes against yours, each touch sparking something that neither of you has addressed yet.
Paige lets out a low groan as her avatar gets eliminated. “Ugh, we’re so cooked.”
“You mean you’re cooked,” Ice teases, grinning as she watches the screen. “You keep getting distracted.”
You catch Paige’s eyes flicker toward you for a split second before she responds. “Whatever.”
Her teammates continue talking trash, but you barely hear them. Your focus has shifted, drawn completely to the way Paige leans just a little closer under the blanket, her thigh brushing against yours. It’s such a small, innocent touch, but it sends a shiver down your spine. The game blares from the screen, but all you can think about is how warm her skin feels against you, how every accidental nudge feels deliberate.
You shift slightly, adjusting the blanket, and in doing so, your fingers graze the side of her leg. Paige freezes for a split second, her hand still hovering over the controller, but then she clears her throat, refocusing on the screen in front of her. You glance at her from the corner of your eye and catch the slightest smirk playing on her lips.
“Okay, okay, I’m going full beast mode now,” Paige says, her voice low but filled with a new kind of energy. She’s leaning forward a little, but not enough to break the connection between you two. Her elbow brushes against your side again, and this time, it feels intentional.
KK, still playing, laughs. “Paige, you’re always full beast mode. You just suck tonight.”
“Shut up,” Paige mutters, her concentration slipping again as her fingers falter over the controls. She shifts back against the couch, her body pressing closer to yours, the tension between you almost tangible now. Her hand, resting on her lap, is so close to yours that you can feel the faintest brush of her knuckles.
You bite your lip, trying to stay focused on the game, or at least pretending to, but all you can feel is her presence, the way her body seems to gravitate toward yours. The noise of the room fades, the sounds of Ice and KK's bickering becoming background chatter as your attention zeroes in on Paige.
She’s pretending like she’s completely immersed in the game, but you know better. Her eyes flicker toward you again, the slightest glance, and her leg presses a little more firmly against yours, a silent acknowledgment of what’s brewing between you. The blanket covering you feels like it’s trapping heat, your heart beating faster, and you wonder if Paige can feel it too.
Without thinking, you shift again, this time allowing your fingers to brush more deliberately against her thigh. Paige’s breath hitches, almost imperceptibly, and she doesn’t pull away. Instead, she leans into the touch, her fingers tightening around the controller for a moment before she exhales slowly, the tension between you both crackling like static.
KK and Ice are still yelling about something on the screen, but you and Paige are in your own little bubble now. The blanket has become a shield, a cover for the way her pinky brushes against yours, so subtle but charged with meaning. You steal a glance at her face and see the way her lips part, her focus entirely split between the game and you now.
Paige shifts again, and this time, her knee nudges yours beneath the blanket. She doesn’t say anything, but her eyes flicker toward you once more, the corner of her mouth quirking up in a barely-there smile. There’s a challenge in her eyes, something playful but undeniably electric.
"Nice shot, P!" KK shouts suddenly, breaking the moment for just a second. Paige barely reacts, just lets out a breathy laugh, and you can tell she’s trying not to get too lost in the moment with you sitting so close.
“Yeah, uh, thanks,” Paige says, still distracted, her eyes darting to yours as her pinky hooks slightly around yours, hidden beneath the blanket.
The tension between you is thick now, unspoken but undeniable. The game continues on the screen, but neither of you is paying attention anymore. All you can think about is the heat radiating from her body, the way her touch lingers on yours like it’s the only thing grounding you both in this moment. The air feels heavy with something unspoken, something waiting to be acknowledged.
Your breath catches, and you wonder if she’s going to make a move or if she’s waiting for you to. The game blares on, Ice and KK oblivious, but for you and Paige, everything else has faded into the background.
As the game continues to play out on the screen, Paige’s hand slowly slips from where it’s resting on her lap, her fingers brushing against your thigh under the blanket. At first, the touch is light, almost casual, but you feel a spark shoot through you the moment her fingertips make contact with your skin. It sends your heart into overdrive, your breath catching in your throat as she presses her hand more firmly against you.
Neither of you speaks, but you can feel the weight of what’s happening between you.
Paige’s fingers begin to trace slow, deliberate patterns along your thigh, her touch warm and teasing. The movement is subtle, careful to avoid drawing attention from KK and Ice, who are still caught up in their game, oblivious to the tension building just inches away from them.
Your body tenses for a moment, a mix of anticipation and excitement making it hard to focus on anything but the sensation of Paige’s hand. She keeps her eyes fixed on the screen, her face perfectly composed, but there’s a small, knowing smile tugging at the corner of her mouth, like she’s fully aware of the effect she’s having on you.
Her hand moves higher, inch by inch, fingers trailing upward with agonizing slowness. You bite your lip, trying to keep your breathing steady, but the closer her hand gets to your warmth, the harder it becomes to maintain your composure. The heat between you grows, thick and undeniable, and you feel your body instinctively shifting closer to hers, wanting more of her touch.
Paige’s hand pauses just above your shorts, her thumb rubbing small circles against your skin, testing the waters. She doesn’t look at you, but the tension between you both is palpable, her fingers creeping higher as the blanket shields you from prying eyes. Your breath hitches, and you can’t help but glance down, watching the way her hand moves slowly, possessively.
“Paige,” you murmur softly, barely above a whisper, your voice shaky with the building tension.
She finally turns her head slightly, her eyes meeting yours for the briefest moment, dark and full of something that makes your stomach flip.
Her lips twitch into a small, teasing smile as her fingers slide just a bit higher, dangerously close to your underwear now. “Shh, can you be quiet for me?” she whispers back, her voice low and laced with amusement, like she’s enjoying this game more than the one on the screen.
Your pulse races as you nod, your skin tingling under her touch, and the blanket feels impossibly heavy now. Paige’s fingers linger at the edge of your thigh, just shy of where you want her to go, her hand warm and steady, teasing you.
The room around you feels like a distant blur, KK and Ice’s laughter barely registering in your ears as all your focus narrows down to the way Paige’s hand feels against your thigh. Every second drags on, the slow burn of anticipation making your heart pound in your chest. You shift slightly, your leg brushing against hers, and the movement draws a soft hum from her, her thumb pressing just a little harder into your skin.
You can’t help it—the tension between you both is too thick, too intoxicating. Paige’s hand moves higher again, her fingers creeping closer and closer, sending a rush of heat through you. You swallow hard, your breath coming quicker now, and she glances at you from the corner of her eye, her smirk deepening.
Her hand stills, fingers resting just shy of where you’re aching for her to touch, and she leans in ever so slightly, her lips close to your ear as she whispers, “You okay?”
The teasing lilt in her voice makes your pulse race even faster, and you nod, barely able to form a coherent thought with the way she’s making you feel. “Yeah,” you breathe out, your voice shaky.
Just as the word left your mouth, Paige slid her hands all the way up to your clothed pussy. Your breath hitched, head falling back on the couch. Paige let out a small laugh, shaking her head as she averts her gaze back to the game.
Then, she slowly moves your underwear out of the way and dips her finger in your wet cunt. You let out a gasp, causing KK to glance toward you and Paige.
“You okay, Y/N?” KK asks.
You quickly clear your throat, trying to regain some semblance of composure as KK’s eyes shift from the screen to the two of you. Paige’s hand immediately stills but she doesn’t move it away, her fingers warm and firm inside of you.
You feel your pulse pounding in your ears, the rush of heat in your cheeks impossible to hide. “Yeah, I’m good,” you manage to say, forcing a smile. “Just… uh, got a little startled by the game.”
KK narrows her eyes for a second, glancing between you and Paige but doesn’t seem to notice anything amiss. She shrugs and turns back to her screen. “You’re not even playing, Y/N. How are you getting scared?”
Ice laughs, chiming in without looking away from the screen. “Right? You’re just over there chilling while Paige’s getting absolutely wrecked.”
You let out a nervous laugh, the tension in your chest winding even tighter as Paige's finger begins moving deeper inside of you, biting your lip to stifle your sounds. You’re trying your hardest to act casual, but Paige is making it impossible to focus on anything else.
Paige leans a little closer to you, her voice low and teasing as she speaks just for you to hear. “See what you do to me?” she whispers, her breath hot against your ear.
Your stomach flips, the sensation of her words paired with the way her finger is still inside you, making it harder to keep your breathing steady. Your heart is hammering, and all you can think about is where her fingers are, how much you want them to keep moving.
As if she was reading your thoughts, she began moving her finger in and out of you slowly, making you let out a sharp gasp before covering it with a cough. You glare at Paige, trying to gauge how much of this is intentional and how much of it is just her toying with you. The playful glint in her eyes tells you everything. She knows exactly what she’s doing, and she’s enjoying every second of it. Paige’s lips quirk into a small, knowing smile, her gaze dipping to your lips for just a fraction of a second before she pulls back slightly, pretending to refocus on the game.
“You good, baby?”
“Shut up,” you mumble back as Paige raises her eyebrows, her finger stopping.
“Oh really?” Paige mumbles before you sigh, looking at her again with pleading eyes.
Ice, oblivious to the simmering tension between you and Paige, shouts as her character takes another hit. “Come on, Paige! You’re supposed to be carrying us right now!”
Paige chuckles, leaning back into the couch, but her finger doesn't leave you. If anything, her finger curl just a bit, and she casts you a quick glance from the corner of her eye. You shift under the blanket, trying not to draw any more attention to yourself, but the way she’s touching you makes your body buzz. She finally begins moving her finger in and out of you again, her movements sharp and increasing in speed.
“You okay over there?” Paige asks again, her voice low and intimate, sending another rush of heat through you. Her question is laced with double meaning, and she knows it.
You bite your lip, glancing toward KK and Ice, who are still fully engrossed in the game, before whispering back, “I’m not so sure.”
Paige’s smirk grows wider, her finger practically slamming into you at this point. “You don’t look okay.”
You squeeze your eyes shut, letting out another quiet sigh. You're glad that KK and Ice are so engrossed or else, you both would've gotten caught so quick. Paige added another finger into your wetness, practically fucking you at this point. You felt that familiar knot in your lower stomach, your thighs squeezing together─however, Paige's hand forces them open.
Just as the knot snaps, Ice’s loud shout suddenly breaks through the moment. “YES! Finally got that dub!”
You were breathing heavily as you came down from the high, your head falling back onto the couch in exhaustion. KK and Ice cheers, the room filled with excited energy, and Paige finally pulls her fingers away, the absence of her touch leaving your skin tingling. She sits back, grinning like nothing had just happened, completely composed while you’re left trying to catch your breath.
“About time,” Paige laughs, tossing her controller onto the table. She stretches, her arm casually draping across the back of the couch behind you as the others celebrate their win. Her fingers brush lightly against your shoulder, and you glance at her, your heart still racing, as she gives you a subtle wink.
───
The day of the game arrives, and the energy around campus feels electric. You've been anticipating this for days, ever since Paige handed you her jersey and encouraged you to go all out. You weren't sure if she was serious at first, but when you saw the glint of excitement in her eyes, you knew she meant it.
So, you spent the night before working on a poster, trying to make it perfect. The bold letters of her name stand out against the glittering background, and you added a few extra touches—hearts, basketball doodles, a playful nickname you call her when no one’s listening that she swears she hated (her blushing pink cheeks beg to differ).
Now, you’re standing in front of the mirror, her jersey slipping over your shoulders, fitting perfectly. It’s loose and comfortable, and the weight of it feels significant—like you’re carrying a part of her with you. You smooth it out, glancing at your reflection. The deep blue of the fabric contrasts against your skin, and the bold “BUECKERS” across the back makes you feel like you’re stepping into a role you were always meant to play. Your heart races, a mix of excitement and nerves bubbling in your chest.
When you finally make your way to the gym, the crowd is already forming, a sea of people moving toward the bleachers. You clutch the poster in your hands, trying to keep it from bending as you navigate through the packed hallways. With each step, your anticipation builds, thinking about how Paige will react when she sees you. You find a spot close to the front, just behind the benches, and settle in, your fingers gripping the edge of the poster as you wait for the game to begin.
The gym fills quickly, the hum of conversations mixing with the squeak of shoes and the sharp dribble of basketballs on hardwood. You scan the court, searching for her, and then—there she is. Paige steps onto the floor with her team for warmups, her long stride purposeful, her gaze focused. She’s all business right now, the way she always is before a game, completely locked in.
You catch her looking up into the stands, scanning the crowd, and then her eyes find yours. Even from a distance, you can see the instant change in her expression. Her lips twitch into a grin, her eyes lighting up like the sun breaking through clouds. You hold up the poster, and the smile that spreads across her face is worth every second you spent making it.
Paige stops in the middle of the court, her teammates laughing and calling her name, but she’s not paying attention to any of them. She’s looking at you. For a second, it’s like the entire gym falls away, and it’s just the two of you in that moment—her in her uniform, her jersey number flashing as she moves, and you in the stands, proudly wearing her name on your back. You lift the poster higher, grinning so wide your cheeks hurt, and she shakes her head, laughing as she mouths something to you.
You think she says, you're crazy, but the look on her face says otherwise. She’s completely smitten, and it shows in every inch of her expression.
Warmups end, and the game is about to start. The lights in the gym dim slightly, and the crowd roars as the players take their positions on the court. Your heart pounds in your chest, excitement thrumming through your veins. You’ve been to her games before, but this time feels different. This time, you’re not just a spectator. You’re part of it—you’re part of her.
As the game progresses, you cheer louder than you ever have, your voice raw from shouting her name, your arms aching from holding up the poster for so long. But none of that matters. You’re so caught up in the game, in every pass, every shot, every steal Paige makes. She’s everywhere, weaving through defenders like it’s second nature, sinking threes with that effortless precision she’s known for. The crowd chants her name, but you swear she’s only hearing yours.
At halftime, the teams gather at the benches, and Paige catches your eye again. She’s breathless, sweat dripping down her face, but she winks at you before grabbing her water bottle. That one little gesture sends a wave of warmth through you, and you know, without a doubt, that she’s been playing this hard, this fiercely, for you.
When the final buzzer sounds and her team wins, the gym erupts into cheers, but your focus is still on her. Paige is swarmed by her teammates, hugs and high-fives flying in every direction, but her eyes are searching for you. When she finally breaks free from the crowd, she jogs over to the stands, and without hesitation, she makes a beeline for you.
You can barely react before she reaches up, grabbing the front of the bleachers and pulling herself up effortlessly to where you are. She’s panting, still glowing from the win, but she’s grinning like she’s just won the lottery.
“You wore it,” she says, her voice breathless but full of joy.
You hold out your arms, letting her take in the sight of you in her jersey, the poster still clutched in one hand. “Of course I did.”
Paige shakes her head, leaning closer until her forehead is pressed against yours. She smells like sweat and adrenaline, and you can feel the heat radiating off of her, but none of that matters. It’s just the two of you again, in this tiny bubble where nothing else exists.
“I can’t believe you did all this,” she murmurs, her hand slipping to the back of your neck, fingers tracing lightly against your skin.
You shrug, trying to play it cool even though your heart is racing. “Well, I had to show up for my girl, didn’t I?”
Paige laughs softly, the sound low and warm. “You’re ridiculous.”
“But you love it.”
She pulls back just enough to look at you, her smile softening, and there’s something tender in the way she looks at you that makes your breath catch. “Yeah,” she whispers, brushing her lips against your cheek. “I really do.”
In that moment, with her jersey clinging to your back, her arms wrapped around you, and the crowd still buzzing with excitement around you, everything feels right. You’re exactly where you’re supposed to be—by her side, both of you wrapped in the kind of love that makes everything else fade into the background.

doctor!Remus x fem!reader ♡ 449 words
“Do you really have to wear gloves for this?”
“Yes, I do.”
You huff, having a hard time looking at your boyfriend when your face feels this hot. “I don’t really see how this is necessary,” you mutter. “You practically examined them the other night.”
Remus gives you a knowing look, tinged with smugness. His gloved fingers continue to feel about your breasts. “That was different, dove.”
And yet, he sweeps a fond touch over the curve of your left tit. Pushing his luck. You really can’t look at him.
“It doesn’t seem like it’s so different for you, though, does it?” he muses, one corner of his lips curling up.
“That’s…it’s just cold in here.”
“Sure it is, sweetheart.”
It really is. The air conditioning in the exam room is cool your bare skin, the thin gown you’d been given dropped to your waist. Still, there’s a warmth pooling in your belly despite the chill. It gets worse when Remus increases his pressure, his touch becoming firmer as he presses into the fleshy underside of your tit.
His eyes are on your chest, clinical, scanning for lumps or abnormalities as he squeezes your breast in his hand. He pushes down even harder, and a tiny sound escapes you, half-suppressed and somewhere between pain and pleasure.
“Oh, sorry darling,” Remus coos. His hand slips to your side as he bends close to you, touching his lips to the spot. If they part for a moment, it’s too brief to verify.
“Fuck you,” you laugh, rubbing at your tit. “You know exactly what you’re doing.”
The grin he gives you reminds you that your boyfriend isn’t always the buttoned-up, professional doctor. Roguish.
“Afraid not,” he says, eyes crackling with amusement. “What am I doing?”
Then, you see his eyes dip to where you’re massaging your breast, and the amusement fizzles out. Satisfaction washes over you like a warm tide. You push the flesh up, thumb gliding over your hard nipple. His eyes darken.
“Maybe I was wrong,” you say in your smoothest voice. It’s nowhere near as sultry as your boyfriend can make his, but it does the job. “I’m sorry, honey, I interrupted you. Do you wanna finish my exam now?”
Remus gaze rises to meet yours, and now there’s no disguising the want in it. You take your bottom lip between your teeth, biting down on a smile. His own lips quirk in response.
“Mm, don’t think so.” His touch leaves as he steps back, locking the door to the exam room. “Why don’t you take your panties off and lay back, dove. I think we have a bit more left to cover before we’re done here today.”

PART 2 of 12
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Art ran through the science building, tennis bag swinging from his back as he raced through students to get to you. Patrick was hot on his heels, shouting ‘where are you going?’ and ‘can you slow down?!’.
Art did not slow down. Art kept running.
He knew this was his last and final chance, that if he didn’t make it to this, he would lose you for good. He was still sweaty from a warm-up session with Tashi 10 minutes ago, his hat was practically falling off his head but he couldn’t have cared less.
As he came to a halting stop outside the lab you were having an exam in, his heart dropped when he saw the lights off and the chairs empty. He checked the time, 2:48pm. Your exam finished at 2:30, right?
Art opened your texts and scrolled back to the text in which you had told him about the date of your final exam, asking him to pick you up at 2:00pm.
“Fuck!” Art shouted, gaining many stares from the students around him. He quickly dialled your number (he had learnt it by heart) only to be met with an automated voice telling him that his number was blocked. “Fuck!”
His tennis bag was swung to the floor and he sat against the wall, anger and shame eating at him. You had a match against Tashi and a final science lab today, and he was too busy with Tashi, helping her warm up when he should've been with you.
“Hey, at least you’re off the hook,” Patrick patted him on the shoulder and Art blew up.
“I don’t want to be off the hook! I want her to be angry with me, I want her to see me, to want to see me! I want her to fight with me, because that’s all we fucking do nowdays and it’s all my fucking fault! Once again, I ruined the best chance I’ve ever had with tennis!” He shouted, standing up tall in front of Patrick. “And yes, Patrick, I’m aware that you’re dating Tashi and that you think I’m jealous, well I’m fucking not! I just want my girlfriend to still want to be my girlfriend! My Y/n to still be my Y/n! So don’t come to me every fucking time Tashi pisses you off, telling me that ‘I can have her’ because I don’t fucking want her!”
Patrick sat there stunned. Art had never raised his voice at him.
“Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to go find my girlfriend,” Art said after gaining his composure once more, and starting to walk down the hall.
“Ex-girlfriend!” Patrick shouted after him, rubbing salt in the wound. Art flipped him his middle finger, and set off to find you.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Art didn’t find you before the match, but he was sitting beside an upset Patrick.
You came out in your Nike tennis outfit, Tashi in her Adidas, and the match began.
What ensued was real tennis. Tashi was talented, yes. But you, you were on fire. You beat Tashi Duncan. You actually beat Tashi Duncan.
Art couldn’t have been more proud. Or worried.
What if this actually was his last chance and he blew it on Tashi?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
He knocked on your dorm door with a bunch of lilies in his hand, your favourite. He had a whole plan, he would apologise, grovel, congratulate, then fuck you. Then, he’d spend all weekend with you and go into San Francisco for a city break.
You opened the door wearing one of his sweaters, a sleepy, but upset look in your eyes. “What?”
“Can we talk?” He asked, a smile on his face at your beautiful and drowsy state.
“Fine,” you rolled your eyes and stepped outside instead of letting him in. Odd.
“I’m so sorry, I thought that the final ended at 2:30 and when I got there you were gone-”
“What time did you get there?” You asked, crossing your arms across your chest.
“2:30?” he lied.
“No you didn’t. I waited until 2:40 for you Art, fucking praying you would show up, don’t lie to me.”
Art sighed. “I’m sorry baby.”
“Look Art, I’m getting really tired of being second place to everyone, sorry- to Tashi, in your life so please just let me go,” you asked. “Now, I would really like to get back into my dorm.”
Art knew he had to fight for you. “Please, I wanted to make it up to you, I thought he could go to San-Fran this weekend, just you and me, no tennis, no distractions.”
“I have a match this weekend Art,” you rolled your eyes and Art sighed, realising he’d forgotten. “Y’know, the one you promised me you’d be at so you could meet my parents?”
“Yes of course, you know I’ll be there, I meant after we could go to San-Fran,” he smiled, his hands on your hips.
“Don’t bother coming, we’re done,” you shoved his hands off your body and walked back to your door. “Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have a very hot guy from my science class who would like to fuck me again, so I’ll see you around Arthur.”
You slammed the door in his face and his heart broke, he had lost you.
He had made his choices, and lost all of his chances.

So Much To Teach
Pairing: Spencer Reid x Reader
Word Count: 3.4k
Warnings: quite a few; dom Spencer kinda, oral (f receiving), age gap; reader is 21+ but it's a lil dubious by default bc he's her professor and therefore an authority figure but shhhh its fine shhhh, fingering, marking a little bit, p in v sex, they both talking diiiiirty, minor praise, risky sex, multiple orgasms, edging- I think I got everything??
Genre: Smut
Summary: You want your professor's attention but you had no idea what would happen if you got it- you also had no idea you'd get it by talking to a classmate
Tumblr media
Part 2
***
Professor Reid is by far your favorite teacher ever and you make sure to make it as obvious as you can get away with. You're always early to his class, you sit in the front row, ask questions as often as you can, take full advantage of his office hours- all of it. You're determined to make Spencer Reid think of you as often as you think of him. Unbeknownst to you, you didn't need to put so much effort into capturing his attention. Not that you'd ever be able to tell, Spencer is always the epitome of professionalism. Well, almost always. He's human after all and you- you might as well be a siren. On the days you come in wearing your shortest skirts, toying with the hem absentmindedly, it's practically impossible for him to keep his gaze above your desk. He's not careless though, only allowing himself to stare when he's not the focus, during exams for example. He especially loves presentation days because he can spend them shamelessly eye-fucking you while you're busy addressing the class. You never seem to notice the way his attention drifts to you, and he's counting his lucky stars for it. He's plenty aware of the implications of his little crush. He wouldn't be so stupid as to make a move on you, especially while you're still his student. Spencer has spent more than enough time convincing himself that the risks outweigh the reward. For now, he'll have to be content watching you from a distance, even when you saunter into his office in your tight blouses to discuss your homework. On those days he knows the memory of your boobs practically spilling out of those shirts will keep him up for at least another hour later that night.
Weeks of your silent game that you're sure he's not actually picking up on have you growing bored of focusing only on getting his attention. Sure you want him to think about you, but you're not so crazy to think he'd risk his job to say, bend you over his office desk like you so desperately wish he would every time you go in there. You're young and in college and while the boys here do not hold your attention the same way, you're not above a little distraction. Which is why today you walk into class chatting with another student, a guy named Matt who has been trying to get you to notice him for a while now. Professor Reid isn't in the class yet and you hop on top of your desk as you talk to Matt about some sports thing. You're not totally following but he's cute so you giggle and pretend you get it, swinging your legs and batting your eyelashes in the way you know college boys respond so well to. You hardly even notice Spencer enter the classroom, but he zeros in immediately on the sight of you smiling at some kid. Matt's a good student, Spencer really has nothing against him, but he rolls his eyes at the two of you knowing that Matt would never be able to keep up with you.
"Quiet down everyone. Miss y/n your butt belongs in a seat, not on a desk and Mister Lewis I suggest you find somewhere to sit as well so we can begin." Spencer addresses you and Matt sharply, catching you off guard. He's never spoken to you that way but you can't help the amused look on your face as you mutter an affirmative and hop off the desk to sit in your chair. Maybe something's going on that put him in a bad mood. The class goes by smoothly after that and Matt is at your desk as soon as Spencer dismisses you all. Spencer has to turn his back to the room to hide the way his face twists up watching you.
The next class again, you walk in with Matt, this time Spencer is there already so you sit directly in your seat but Matt stays and talks to you while you wait for class to officially start. Spencer has to tamp his desire to break the conversation up for no reason until enough students pile in that he begins the lesson. This goes on for two more sessions, you walk in with Matt, twirling your hair, giggling at him, flaunting your gorgeous figure in flattering outfits that he openly gawks at you in, all while Spencer tries to keep himself from the edge of insanity. He has no right to be so put out by this, you're a student for crying out loud. He tries to remember that, tries hard to keep himself in check even as Matt basically invades your personal space as you're sitting on your desk before class again. You let him get entirely too close for Spencer's liking and when he sees you lean forward he can't stop himself from interrupting.
"Miss y/n." Spencer drawls out in a way that makes you want to shiver. "I've already told you desktops are not for sitting. Don't make me tell you again." Spencer says effectively ruining whatever was about to happen between you and Matt. He even backs off to let you get down from your desk.
"I'll see you after class okay?" You tell Matt sweetly and Spencer absolutely cannot take any more of this. He begins his lecture though his mind is somewhere else through most of it. He's busy planning. When the time comes and he dismisses the class Matt is quickly making his way to you and Spencer realizes he has to move now.
"Miss y/n. You don't have a class after this do you?" Spencer asks.
"No professor. Is something the matter?" You ask.
"There's something I'd like to discuss with you. Come with me to my office." He instructs.
"O-okay?" You frown. Matt does too from where he stopped when Spencer called your name. Spencer waits for you to finish collecting your things before he heads towards the class's exit. "I'll- I'll catch you later I guess Matt." You say over your shoulder before following Spencer. You try to think what this could be about. Your last paper was great, you know it was, plus there's no way he's through grading those yet, you aced the most recent test you took- there's no way he's calling you into his office because of the desk-sitting thing- is there? When you reach Spencer's office he shuts the door behind you and stands on the other side of his desk. He doesn't sit- which you find strange but nothing about this has been normal thus far.
"Is there a problem sir?" You ask sitting down.
"Is there a problem?! You- never mind. No y/n, no problem." Spencer forces himself to restrain that overwhelming urge he has to yell over Matt or simply split you open on his desk, or in his office chair, or against the wall- he shakes the thought from his mind, scrambling for an excuse for calling you to his office. "I just wanted to discuss something from- your paper."
"Oh you've started grading the papers?" You ask. He's only just gotten to them. He doesn't even think he's graded yours all the way through yet but he can't tell you the truth, that you're only here so you didn't walk out with Matt.
"Yes I have and there was something interesting... in your paper. I just need to find it, give me- a minute." Spencer shuffles through things on his desk, he's stalling and he hopes you don't notice.
"Professor Reid?" You tilt your head at him.
"Just a minute y/n." He mutters.
"Professor." You frown, your voice is forceful enough that he glances up at you. "I know you know exactly where my paper is. And I know that if there was really something you wanted to discuss in said paper you'd already have it memorized. You're almost irritatingly punctilious, I've been in your office more than enough times to know that. So what's really going on?"
"I suppose I should've expected this from one of my smartest students." He muses with a shake of his head.
"I know we're not friends by any means since you're my professor and all but we're both adults and I hope you'd respect me enough to tell me the truth." You tell him.
"Believe me I am trying very hard."
"To tell the truth or respect me?" You cross your arms.
"I respect you implicitly and because of that telling the truth here is- conflicting."
"Professor Reid, what am I doing in your office? I've asked you much harder questions than that in class."
"If only you knew." He scoffs.
"Professor-"
"You're right. I didn't call you in here to discuss a paper." He sighs knowing he's out of escapes. "It's that boy you've been draping yourself over all month." Spencer says through clenched teeth.
"Matt? You called me in here to discuss Matt? Why? Is he failing or something?"
"No. He maintains a solid B average in my class."
"Okay, then I'm really not understanding professor. What does Matt have to do with anything?" You shake your head.
"It is infuriating to watch him with you as if he has even the slightest chance of satisfying you in any way." Spencer walks over to you as he speaks, punctuating his sentence by leaning against the arms of your chair which forces you to lean back.
"And- what makes you the authority on who could satisfy me?" You ask breathily, blinking up at him.
"Considering you haven't even tried to move away from me I'd guess you know as well as I do." Spencer stares at you intently.
"Are you making a move on me professor?" You ask with feigned innocence that you know he sees through.
"Am I not being clear enough?" He asks.
"I dunno."
"Then allow me to make myself unequivocal." Spencer closes the small gap between you two, pressing his lips against yours fiercely. His hands hold your face as he pours all of his feelings and frustrations into this kiss. You grab hold of his wrists as you surrender yourself to the feeling of his mouth on yours. When he finally pulls away you're both left panting but a dam has been broken with that single kiss and your hands are pulling off his tie before he's even realized it. You stand up and kiss him again, fingers tangling in his hair, while his hands settle against your waist easily. He doesn't let you lead things for long, turning you both to sit you on his desk. "I'm going to show you everything that silly boy could never give you." Spencer grumbles against your lips.
"I never pegged you for the jealous type Professor Reid." You giggle.
"I've never been good at sharing." He quips kissing his way down your throat.
"Go figure." You mutter with a breathy sigh when his kisses turn to nips and sucks. "Careful. If you visibly mark me I'll have to lie." You tell him which only seems to spur him on and you yelp after a particularly harsh bite.
"Lie?" He frowns at you.
"I mean I can't very well say 'Professor Reid gave me those hickies' now can I?" You say and Spencer laughs as he drops into the chair in front of you.
"No, I suppose not, but you can absolutely use them to let people know you're taken." He says shuffling closer to you and pulling your underwear off from under your skirt.
"By people you mean Matt don't you?" You smile, amused at how miffed he is over your little distraction.
"Say his name again in here and I'll turn that ass of yours so red that you'll still have trouble sitting by next class." Spencer glances up at you with a warning look that has your exposed cunt clenching around nothing. An action he doesn't catch, seeing as your skirt is still hiding your center from him. He bunches your skirt up at your hips as he lifts you onto his desk and adjusts your legs so your feet are on it, knees wide so he can simply watch how your pussy glistens for a moment. His gaze is intense and soon you're squirming against the dark wood he's displayed you on.
"Professor Reid, touch me- please." You pout at him.
"Someone's getting impatient huh? You just look so pretty I can't help but want to stare." His words make you blush and the restlessness gets worse as he leisurely folds the sleeves of his button down shirt to reveal his forearms.
"Please professor-" You sigh.
"I like hearing you beg." Spencer's grin is nothing short of sadistic but he leans forward and lets his tongue drag through your wetness with a satisfied groan. He shifts to hold your legs open as he feasts on you like a man starved. It's hard to keep track of his tongue, thrusting in and out of you, circling your clit, disappearing entirely as he suckles harshly on the bundle of nerves all with incredible veracity. It's like he figured out how to read your body before he even began and he's got you teetering on the edge faster than you'd like to admit. Your hands tug desperately at his brown hair as you feel your orgasm building. Before you can even warn him of your incoming release he's switching his tactic, dragging you back from that end, still pleasing you but rather than feeding the fire he's simply maintaining it where it is.
"No!" You whine before you can stop yourself when you feel your orgasm slipping further away. His responding chuckle only adds to your frustration.
"If you're gonna cum princess it'll be when I'm ready for you to. Understood?" Spencer doesn't even lift his head as he speaks. He nips at your swollen clit when you don't answer and after a yelp, you manage a response.
"Y-yes sir." You get out.
"Good girl." He mutters lapping at your juices yet again. Same as before, he easily works you towards the edge with his tongue in all the right places, and like before, when your orgasm is in reach he walks you backwards. This time you manage to hold back your sound of frustration and then his fingers enter the mix and your small whimpers become full on whines as he curls two digits inside you just right to have you arching off of his desk. With his mouth focused solely on your clit while his fingers thrust in and out of you diligently, not to mention the previous denials, you're practically shaking as he works you up again.
"Professor Reid please let me cum this time, please sir- fuck I can't- I need to cum so bad. Please professor- I- I can't. Oh god." Your breathless pleas are barely sensible, but they satisfy Spencer and he doesn't pull back this time, doesn't stop until you're clenching around his fingers and spasming on his desk, struggling to handle the impact of your own orgasm. He watches the way pure ecstasy washes over your face with a smirk on his face as he helps you through it with gentle strokes of his fingers. When your breathless gasps become more subdued he pulls his hand away from your center. Before you can fully recover, Spencer pulls you off of the desk and turns your back to him, bending you over the desk with a hand at your back.
"Fuck- I need a condom." He mutters.
"Do you have any?"
"I- no? I don't regularly fuck people in my office y/n."
"I- have one in my bag. Front pocket." You mutter. Spencer reaches for your backpack and grabs the condom quickly, rolling it on with ease.
"I'm going to absolutely ruin you for anyone else." He tells you before thrusting himself into you. Inch by inch he slides deeper inside you and pinned against his desk all you can do is moan at the fullness. He sets a rhythm as soon as he bottoms out, his dick dragging against your walls with each hard thrust.
"Fuck- god that feels good." You mewl.
"Yeah? You like the way my dick splits you open don't you? Knew you would. You're absolutely perfect for me. Just me. Isn't that right?" He grunts through his filthy words, each one punctuated with another forceful thrust.
"Yeah- yes. God- yes."
"Say it. Say your mine princess."
"I- I'm yours sir. All yours. N-no one else's. No one else could fuck me like this- m-make me feel like this. Just you. Holy sh-shit." You pant out. Spencer's thrusts are rocking the entire desk at this point and you are sure the skin where your hips are ramming against the edge will be sore tomorrow but right now all you can focus on is how good it feels to be fucked like this. Better than you imagined and god you hope he never stops.
"Good girl." He breathes out.
"Feels so good Professor." You whine.
"I know, fuck I know. You feel so perfect y/n." Spencer groans. His hand wraps around your throat and pulls your back against his chest as he fucks you. Spencer's other hand, slides across your waist, finding your clit easily. He toys with the bundle of nerves and your hands grip the edge of the desk as you whine.
"Oh my god." You gasp.
"Let go for me y/n. Wanna feel you on my dick."  Spencer says, kissing your shoulder. Your hand grabs at his arm desperate to ground yourself as your orgasm washes over you. Spencer hisses, your nails digging into his skin deliciously. His hips stutter and he groans, long and deep, as he spills into his condom, face buried in your neck. You both remain where you are, panting in the aftermath of it for several moments before Spencer breaks the silence.
"Did you have a condom because you planned on fucking Matt?" He asks and you can't help but laugh.
"No, I just always carry some. I like preparedness." You say, stuttering a bit when Spencer chooses to slip out of you while you speak.
"I'll have to start keeping some in here." He says, pulling his condom off and disposing of it.
"Planning on building a roster for yourself Professor Reid?" You quip adjusting yourself to lean back against the desk instead of still bending over it. Your tone is light but you'll admit you won't take it well if he says yes. Spencer frowns at you as he reaches into his desk for something.
"Is that a serious question?" He asks walking over to you with a packet of wipes in hand.
"Well it was a joke really but if you want to take it seriously be my guest." You shrug. He kneels in front of you, his frown deepening as he considers your words.
"No y/n I'm not 'building a roster'. The only person I'm planning on fucking in here is you, but it shouldn't be your responsibility to provide contraceptive methods for that. Also I've been inside you, I think you can call me Spencer when we're alone." He says gently cleaning you up. You try not to squirm at the intimacy of the whole thing.
"Oh. Okay." You can't think of anything else to say.
"Let me make something clear to you I'm not- I didn't just fuck you to get it out of my system and move on after this y/n. I'd actually like to continue something with you- unless of course, you have no interest in that, I won't pressure you. Although I can't imagine you can go back to Matt after that."
"You really hate him huh?" You laugh.
"He's a fine student. I just don't particularly like the way he drools over you." Spencer shrugs. "But it won't matter if you choose to see me again."
"I will. See you again I mean. This was fun." You say. A knock on the locked office door stops Spencer from speaking.
"Professor Reid?" A voice calls on the other side of the door. A student.
"Just a moment!" Spencer says, he quickly takes a moment to adjust your hair for you and pick up some of the scattered things from his desk while you fix your clothes.
"Spencer where is my underwear?!" You whisper at him.
"Oh I'll be holding onto that." Spencer winks at you, tapping his pocket where your panties are no doubt stuffed. You shoot him a look but grab your backpack and head towards the door.
"Thank you for answering my questions Professor! See you in class next week." You say loudly as you open the door. A boy you don't recognize is on the other side of it. He must be from one of Spencer's other sessions.
"Yes of course. See you next week." His response is almost dismissive, enough that this other student should have no idea what was going on before he showed up and only once you're practically out of the building do you let your giddy smile take over your face as you walk back to your apartment.

next time, if it rains | iwaizumi hajime
who would have thought iwaizumi was the type to wait under the rain?
Tumblr media
wc: 784
summary: iwaizumi waits for you on a rainy afternoon.
contains: f!reader, canon-adjacent, set in high school (around 1st year), (eventual) friends to lovers, reader is nicknamed 'tori-chan' by oikawa (there will be backstory), you and iwaizumi are just starting to get close.
part of ‘there’s this sound (in my chest), and it only beats when you’re around’ this is the first fic in the series.
a/n: edited and reuploaded.
Tumblr media
You find Iwaizumi under a clear umbrella in the torrential downpour of a Wednesday afternoon.
It’s not a surprise to find him prepped to go home, just fifteen minutes past his dismissal from volleyball practice; but the gym is on the other side of school, and he’s standing here now, outside of your club’s building, seemingly waiting as he remains firmly planted on his spot, unmoving.
You’re confused.
“Iwaizumi-san?”
Looking up from his phone, he readjusts the strap of his gym bag. There’s a momentary pause as he squints, the rain making it impossibly difficult to recognize you at first glance.
Then, recognition flashes across his face before he raises his hand, giving a small wave, “Hey!”
You place your bag on the floor, freeing your hands to unclasp the lock on your umbrella before pushing it open. It’s a bit of struggle as you attempt to carry all your things, your umbrella, bag, and a few books barely being balanced with just your two hands.
“Do you need help?” Iwaizumi calls out, voice muffled by the heavy rain.
“It’s—“
The question is rhetorical, you realize, because before you can even get a word in, he’s already made his way to you, approaching the steps much quicker than you can seem to gather yourself.
It honestly feels like deja vu; does Iwaizumi just always know when you need help?
Recounting the memory horrifies you to this day—the first time you approached Iwaizumi, he had to cut your rambling short just to get to the main point:
“Do you need help with the topics for our science exam?”
You shake your head, shooing the thought away. There’s no use dwelling on embarrassments of the past when it’s only brought you the good things you have today—like your little Wednesday study group, composed of you, Oikawa, and Iwaizumi.
“Thanks,” you bow your head slightly as he reaches for your books. Your smile turns sheepish when you follow it up with an apology.
The steps are slippery on your way down, but your shoes manage.
Just a few steps ahead of you, Iwaizumi stays close by, looking back a few times in case you might slip.
They’re discreet looks, a real attempt of his to be subtle; but you can tell, and the gesture only makes you smile.
“Why’d you wait all the way here?” you ask, once you reach the bottom of the stairs.
“Oikawa had to fetch Takeru. He messaged our group chat,” Iwaizumi swipes through his phone to show you the message. You fall into pace beside him, reading.
[5:01pm]
Shittykawa: Tori-chan, gotta fetch Takeru cos of the rain! >.< Sorry! Iwa-chan will still walk with u tho, I’ll see u guys at home~~
“It didn’t show that you read it, so I wasn’t sure if you saw it,” he continues, pocketing his phone as you exit the gates.
The rain gets stronger.
You hum in agreement, mumbling, “You didn’t have to wait out here though… I would have gone to the gym eventually…” a pout forms on your face, growing deeper the guiltier you feel.
The fact that Iwaizumi waited for you outside, in the pouring rain (and for a good while, it looks) makes you feel bad. You aren’t so close that things like this are unspoken in your friendship.
“Sorry…” you murmur. You don’t think Iwaizumi hears you from how loudly the raindrops are beating against your umbrella, but he does.
“H-hey, it’s fine! I don’t mind.”
You slow down your walk.
“‘Sides,” Iwaizumi sighs, falling into step with you, “I wasn’t sure if you had an umbrella, so…” he trails off, too embarrassed to continue.
Your brain buzzes at the implication, but you shake it off quickly.
Don’t assume.
(The wet patches on his uniform do nothing to cool down how warm he feels.)
“Oh,” you chuckle, focusing instead on how touched you are by his thoughtfulness. It’s endearing how he’s even embarrassed about it.
“Good thing I have one then,” you play along, speaking as casually as you can, “I don’t think we’d fit under yours.”
Iwaizumi laughs, a boyish grin settling in to replace how flustered he’d looked.
“I guess I’ll just have to bring a bigger one next time.”
You glance at him from the side, observing; you don’t think he even realizes what it implies—that he wants to share an umbrella with you, next time.
So you brush it off, chalking it up to Iwaizumi just being Iwaizumi, kind and reliable—thoughtful.
The rain doesn’t let up the entire walk to Oikawa’s place, but you’re thankful for it. At least, the raindrops reverberate loud enough against your umbrella to drown out the pitter patter of your heartbeat.

Libraries are a phenomenal place to stay when you have the need to be alone. The peace it gives, the peace it offers. But, trouble's always lingering somewhere, somehow.
"Psst! Hey..!"
I hear someone quietly call for my attention. Well, technically not just someone. It's someone who I, oh so, despise.
"What do you want, Vada?" I counter back, not really in the mood for their shenanigans. I was sitting by the window, giving me its clear view of the baby blue sky, and the buildings of the school. Being this, a second story library school. Considering class hasn't started yet, I went on a little trip to the library.
I glanced at my left wrist where my watch was attached to. On my right, a book in hand, with my fingers lingering on the books spine.
Ugh, it's literally 8 in the morning, what the heck does this girl want?
"Heard the exam scores are being announced today." I can already hear the smirk she's wearing. Gosh, she's so infuriating.
I tilt my head gently towards her, having my attention on her, rather in an uninterested manner. I see her sitting across me, with her legs crossed and her hands on her cheeks, her palms on her chin. "So? You still think you'd be able to... What? Go beyond my score? Hm?", I taunt.
She scoffs for a moment and gives me that damn signature smirk of hers. She says, "Of course! I studied way before you did! I know for a fact that I, did better.", Confidently.
I raise a brow at her, obviously not interested nor intimidated by her. I roll my eyes and went back to occupy the book on my hand that was needed to be read.
"We'll see."  As I said that, I hear wood creaking, indicating that she was now not by the table next to me.
What a pain in my ass.
"Alright class! Today's the announcement of the exam scores, now I need you all to be quiet and stay on your seats until I've finished. Only then you can all take your lunch."
After hearing the Teachers roaring voice, the students started murmuring, as if they doubted themselves and assumed they had failed, or supposedly passed.
"Two students tied up with the same perfect score, Y/N Y/L/N and Vada Cavell." Applaud can be heard, others with impressed expression, others with envy glances.
Again? Not again! Ugh.
"Then we have Riu Moore, coming on third Sevi Guth..." I shut my eyes, breathing in and out heavily.
How can this girl follow my pace?? I've hardly seen her do work! This is so annoying, she's so annoying! She's probably a teacher's pet—!
"Wondering how I've tied up with you, huh?" I hastily opened my eyes and I sight this girl's punchable face in front of me, her crouching figure, and her face inches away from mine. I could practically feel her breathe hitting my lips.
Holy shit she smells good.
I stumble on my words. "I- I.. No! What? Get your face away, stupid!" I shook, closing my eyes while my palm swung towards her, my palm making contact with a part of her face.
I heard a loud thud, followed by a pained grunt. "Shit." I sympathetically say under my breathe.
I get out of my seat and see her clutching her nose. "Y- you have a hard palm..", I audibly gasped as I start to see droplets of blood. I pulled her up by her forearm and began to drag her out of the classroom towards to the clinic.
Before I went out of the classroom, I saw only a few students left, no teachers. That was a bonus..
"You're good to go, Vada. Though, may I ask what caused your injury?", I sat by the chair next to the bed, where Vada was sitting.
She chuckles. "Oh! I kind of slipped and landed right on my nose.. Yeah, that wasn't really the best sight." she enthusiastically dismissed.
I furrowed my eyebrows, practically glancing skeptically at her. Wondering why she hadn't told the truth.
"Well, alright then.. Change the bandages when you get home, alright?"
"Will do."
She thanked the nurse for her care and went up to me. She held me by my hand. Before I could protest, she already had something in mind.
"For almost killing me! You! Have to buy me lunch today.", She starts with a teasing tone.
"Killing you? I hadn't even done enough damage to actually kill you!" I said irritated, but didn't pull away, I knew I owe her. But who goes up to someone like that? Obviously someone who isn't sane.
"And besides, if you had just came up to me like what a normal person would have, you wouldn't have been on that damn clinic bed. You really had to get to my face like that! Your fault, stupid."
She chuckles and glances at me, she was an inch taller than I am. Never was intimidated by her. Never will be. We never even were this close before! Not until today.
Though, I wouldn't mind staying hand in hand with her for a little bit longer.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ *~*~*~*~ *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
The present day, Japan.
It feels weird walking the streets of your hometown again. It's been so long since you've been here. The city changed a lot since you've been wandering around these streets with your friends. While everything seems familiar, most things also feel unknown.
You wander the streets that once were so familiar to you. The TV store where you used to watch the latest hero news after school with your friends has been replaced with a multimedia store. The kiosk, where you and your brother bought sour candy and picture cards hoping to pull a Gran Torino or a Crimson Riot, is also long gone. However, there are some places that are still the same. There's still the library where you and your girls studied hard for your entrance exams to get into university. It's also where you had your first kiss, just behind the business administration section.
Of course, the old university building is still the same. You can't remember how many tears of stress you've shed here and of course tears of joy on your graduation day. That's also where you've met All Might for the first time. He was invited as a guest of honor and had to give a speech to all the graduates. Similar to you who had to give a speech since you graduated summa cum laude. You remember of nervous you were that day.
*~*~*~ *~*
Twenty-two years ago, Japan.
Dear comrades-in-arms, teachers and parents, Today we celebrate the success of a new generation and the bright future... the bright future...
You keep mumbling to yourself going through your cards over and over again. You're sitting behind the stage you have to go on in a few minutes. You groan frustratedly. No matter how well you know the speech you've written, there is no way you will deliver it successfully. First of all, you're not a motivational speaker and second of all, you are way too nervous.
„My, my, someone's nervous!“, a booming voice says right behind you and you jump up in your seat.
When you turn around, you're met with the largest man you've ever seen. Of course, you know who he is. All might, an upcoming hero. He made quite the name for himself, especially during his time in America. The girls in your semester fawn over his good looks. Upon closer inspection, you think he looks quite silly. You mean that grin will haunt you in your nightmares. And what...
„What's up with your hair?“, you blurt out before you can stop yourself.
All Might's creepy smile disappears for a second and he looks stunned but as quickly as it disappears, as quickly it returns. It seriously gives you IT-clown vibes.
„Whatever do you mean? Do you not like my hair, dear citizen?“, he asks you in his perfect-practiced hero voice. You think he sounds fake.
„Uhm, no, I don't.“, you tell him. Again, you don't really think when you answer him.
Now, All Might is taken aback.
„Oh, really? I-i mean you don't find it flashy?“, he says in his normal voice. You're surprised at how timid and soft-spoken he sounds.
„No.“, you tell him with a pointed look.
„Oh, well, alright. That's a first.“, he mumbles.
You turn fully towards him. You look up at him crossing your arms.
„Really? No one told you before that it looks like the antennae of an insect? You know, like a cockroach?“, you explain bluntly.
All Might stares at you stunned for a few seconds before starting to laugh. It's not his booming hero laugh, but an honest one. You think it suits him better than the laugh you've heard on TV.
„You sure are an honest one.“, he tells you wiping the side of his eye.
You shrug. „Should I be dishonest instead? Sounds like a villain's trait.“, you point out. All Might gives you that pretty laugh again.
„I suppose that's true.“, he agrees with you.
There's a moment of silence. Suddenly, the speaker on stage announces you and your speech. Surprisingly, you don't feel nervous anymore. It's probably because you don't have to go on stage with a cockroach hairstyle. Your hair is perfectly styled by the hairstylist your father paid for.
„Break a leg.“, All Might encourages you and gives you two thumbs-up. You give him a smile before going on stage and delivering your speech.
Your speech went well that day. Your parents were proud of you and your mother even cried a little. After the formal celebration and dinner with your family, you celebrate with your friends. Needless to say, all of you are absolutely plastered by the end of the night.
That might be the reason you don't remember much about All Might's speech. Something about being a hero in your own story or so.
What you do remember is the way he laughs when he finds something truly funny.
~*~*~*~ *~*
The present day, Japan.
You smile fondly at the memory. You've been so deep in thought that you didn't notice how far your legs have taken you. You shake your head trying to push the thoughts out of your head and to gain a sense of reality. Right, food!, you tell yourself.
It's been so long since you've been here last, you don't really know where a supermarket is. A quick Google search later, you're finally on your way with a fixed destiny. Luckily, the city's big and so there are plenty of stores to choose from.
You end up getting more things than you initially planned. Having to get all the essentials from salt to butter, your bags are stuffed full. You drag them with you, trying to find the fastest way home. Unfortunately for you, the streets you once knew like the back of your hand faded in your memory. While you were confident that you'd find your way back home without Google Maps, you're not so sure anymore. Actually, you're lost.
Since the bags are getting heavy on your shoulders, you decide to find a bench to sit down for a moment. Maybe also check the map to see where you should actually be heading. Eventually, you find a map and plop down with a heavy groan. Your back isn't what it used to be. You're still denying it but you can't help but notice little things about your body that changed. Your back is one thing.
Once you've caught your breath, you realize what's in front of you. You ended up in a little square and in the middle of the square, there is a giant golden All Might statue. You almost burst out laughing. I forgot they have these in Japan. They really do worship him, you think to yourself. It's really comical to you. How the people of Japan look up to him like he's a god that became human. It's probably you know that he is in fact very human.
In contrast to everybody else, you know what his hair looked like in the morning. You know how the skin on top of hot milk makes him gag. How he laughs at his own burps. How his face looks like when he's intimate with someone. You know how he cries.
~*~*~*~ *~*
Twenty years ago, Japan.
 „Y-y/n... I don't know what to say.“
You stare past his face. You look at the rising sun behind the skyline that can be seen from Tashinor's apartment. You can't look at him. Tears are already about to spill out of your eyes. You know there's no stopping if you look at him now.
You feel his large hand brushing your arm. „Say something.“, he begs. You can hear his own tears in his voice.
You feel the water in your eyes overflowing. Quickly you turn around so that he doesn't see. „What do you want me to say? We've argued all night. I think everything has been said.“, you point out.
There's silence behind you. You can hear him sigh. Now he's probably brushing his hand over his face. He always does this when he's stressed or upset.
„I love you.“, he says quietly. You let out a choked laugh.
„Not enough, apparently.“, you tell him. It drips in a harsh bitterness that's rarely in your mouth.
„Don't be like that.“, Toshinoris says pointedly. He almost sounds annoyed. It makes you angry. You twirl around.
„Like what? Hurt?“, you say sharply. You don't mean to attack him. You don't mean to start arguing again. You've been at it all night. Both of you know that there is no room for conversation anymore. However, no one is ready to let it rest. Because you probably know that the decision's made and if you go now, nothing will ever be the same anymore. To keep arguing right now is to keep holding on for a little while longer.
„I don't want to hurt you.“, he says quietly. You sigh. You look at him defeatedly.
„I know.“, you whisper back at him. He takes a step closer to you and engulfs you in a big hug.
„I know no words I can say can make it better. You're right. I hurt you. I choose my career over you. I know it's unfair and cruel of me but you also need to understand that my hands are tied. I can't back out now. I've come too far and too many people rely on me.“, he tells you.
You press your face into his chest. You don't want to hear this. You know this. There is no need to repeat it again.
„Hey, look at me.“, Toshinori says and puts his index finger under your chin making you raise your head. You look at him with teary eyes. His heart aches to see you like this.
The two of you have been sneaking around for almost a year now. Given the nature of his job, he's never been one for serious, long-term relationships. This is the longest he's ever been with someone before. His mind is made up but it doesn't mean he's happy about it.
He loves you, he really does. It's like he didn't realize just how much he loves you until he was about to end it. Kanno's been putting pressure on him ever since finding out and after you've been almost caught by paparazzi last week, he knows it's time.
Gently, he brushes his hand through your hair. He leans forward and presses a soft kiss onto your forehead. You feel yourself melt against him. It's like you can't stay angry at him. He pushes his hand deeper into your hair, scratching the skin lightly. Meanwhile, he pushes your chin further up and meets your lips in a soaring kiss.
You kiss each other hungrily. Instinctively, you wrap your arms around Toshinori's neck. Toshinori's hand wanders down to your hip and pulls it against his own. You almost groan into the kiss.
You need to stop. This won't be good for either of you. You try pushing him away but he's bigger and stronger than you and his lips are so, so soft on yours. It won't take long until you give in to him. You always do.
It's probably why you also gave into continuing to work for him in America. That and the prospect of someday. That someday you can transfer back to Japan. That someday, when the buzz around him slows down and he can come back to you.
It's just that that day never came.
~*~*~*~ *~*
The present day, Japan.
Your eyes still get glossy when you think about that night. Embarrassed, you wipe ferociously at your eyes. How silly, you haven't seen that man in twenty years. You don't even know what kind of person he is today.
Of course, you've seen the fight at Kamino Ward. Actually, because of the time difference you didn't see it live. You saw the news after you had woken up and then spent the next hour in front of your screen. You were late for work that morning.
It was heartbreaking to watch. You remember being shocked to see him like that on your phone in the dusk light of your bedroom. It was what everybody talked about at the office that day. Everybody was shocked. People were worried about the security and stability of Japan. Meanwhile, you were worried about the man you once loved.
You assumed Toshinori eventually would have to retire. Eventually, everyone gets old. You're surprised that he held onto his job for as long as he did. He did have some brutal fights during his career, they must've left some permanent damage.
You take a deep sigh. It's ridiculous how nostalgic this city makes you feel. It's been only one morning, you keep drifting off indulging in reminiscences. Suddenly, your stomach rumbles. Right, of course, that's why you went out in the first place. Also, you probably should get your groceries into a fridge soon.
Quickly, you look at your phone figuring out your route back home. You see Takeo sent you a message with a picture but you decide to open it once you're home. You just hope he didn't manage to burn down his dorm already.
~*~*~*~ *~*
Japan, the same day.
After a longer way home than anticipated, you finally make it back. After a hearty meal, you finally check your son's message. It's a picture of him and his new roommate setting up a picnic on campus. You're sure they keep the alcohol bottles out of sight. You have to laugh and roll your eyes. You remember how it was for you to move into your first apartment. Unlike your son, you moved out of your parents' home only after you graduated from uni. You've missed out on a lot of things because of that. You've never had a roommate and your parents rarely let you go out to party.
You send your son a selfie of yourself in the middle of cardboxes to which he only responds 'Get to work, mom! ;)'. You sigh deeply and lock your phone. He's right, you need to tackle these boxes. Your new job starts on Monday and by then you'd like to be settled into your new home.
You start with the kitchen boxes first. In your head, they're the easiest to unpack. The layout of the kitchen kind of already tells you what goes where. You already dread the junk boxes in which all kinds of stuff are that have no real place. Considering your limited furniture, those will be the hardest to tidy up.
You try to get around these boxes by unpacking the bedroom and bathroom boxes next. You take your time with your clothes. You've already sorted through your clothes before you got here and you got rid of a great amount of them. You gave some old clothes you don't wear anymore to the charity shop. However, there are some clothes you can't get rid of. Like the T-shirt you gave birth into. Or that old blazer you wore to your interview at All Might's hero agency.
You can't help but to try on these random clothes. Before you know it you're standing in sweatpants, Takeo's birth T-shirt and the old blazer in front of your mirror. You almost laugh at how ridiculous that combination looks on you. Carefully, you stroke over the black fabric of your blazer thinking back to your interview that changed the course of your life.
~*~*~*~ *~*
Twenty-two years ago, Japan.
„So, Miss l/n, what would you say is your biggest weakness?“
Nervously, you shift in your seat. You really don't know how you ended up in this seat. Looking back at it, it was probably an act of rebellion. After your graduation, your father secured a job for you at his company. He didn't even bother to ask you whether or not you wanted to work for him. It made you mad. You tried to talk to him but he always just brushed you off.
Since he never gave you a real job offer and you never really accepted a job at his company or signed a contract, you took matters into your own hands. You applied to many different companies. Having a business administration degree, it was open to you in what kind of area and what kind of company you wanted to work for. You don't really know what you want to do with your life. So far, your life has been presented to you. Everything was planned and followed through. It's the first time in your life, you're deciding where things are going.
That being said, you applied to All Might's hero agency just because you could. You didn't really expect to hear back from them. Hundreds of well-educated people from Japan and abroad must've applied for this position. Then again, it was only an interview. One you didn't really prepare for since you did not take this application that seriously anyway.
„Miss l/n?“, the interviewer in front of you asks again.
You're ripped out of your thoughts.
„E-excuse me, I've been thinking about an appropriate answer.“, you tell them. You take a deep breath.
„In all honesty, I probably have a lot of weaknesses. I'm a perfectionist. I can't drop a project until it's not only done but done perfectly. That can be time-consuming and sometimes I get lost in details. I'm also a people pleaser. I don't like having conflict with others so I always try to avoid it or try to mediate if I get involved in it against my will.“, you tell the three interviewers in front of you.
The interviewers quickly scribble something in their notes. You're trying not to stare at their papers. You really want to know what they're writing down about you.
„Would you say that, despite these weaknesses, you're still able to stand your ground and make your opinion heard?“, the other interviewer asks.
„Well, it sure doesn't come naturally to me. However, I grew up in a family of businessmen. You learn from an early age to stay your ground.“, you tell them.
The third interviewer goes through your application portfolio.
„Right... you wrote that your father works in finances. I actually do recognize your name...“, the interviewer trails off. The other two take a look at your portfolio as well and exchange knowing looks.
You shift in your seat. You hoped this wouldn't come up. You wanted to get your first job due to your own skills and the impressions you leave behind. Not because of your family.
Luckily the interviewers don't dwell on this for long and continue with their standardized interview questions. You're glad when they're finally done. When they let you go and call in another candidate, the others, that are still waiting for their interview, start bombarding you with questions.
„How was it?“, „What kind of questions did they ask?“, „Is All Might there too?“
Your head is still swirling from the interview, so you give them some half-assed answers. Quickly you stumble towards the elevator and press the button energetically. The moment the doors open, you quickly scramble inside. You start going through your back trying to find your deodorant. You've sweat so much, other people must smell you from five meters away.
„Exciting day today?“, a voice says behind you.
Oh no. No. No. You must be kidding me!, you think to yourself. You turn around in slow motion and there he is. Standing in front of you in full size. He's a lot bigger than you remember.
 „A-all Might...“, you stutter.
„Oh... wait! I never forget a face. We met before, didn't we?“, he says cheerily.
You feel cold sweat drip down your neck. Oh hell no, your potential new boss can't possibly remember the last time you saw him. You feel absolutely mortified. Meanwhile, All Might crooks his head and stares at you intensely.
„Oh, you must be mista-...“, you start but get interrupted by the much larger hero. He snaps his fingers and his eyes light up in recognition.
„Now, I know! You're the one who called me a cockroach!“, he says triumphantly. He grins and seems to be very pleased by the fact that he remembers you.
At the same time, you're face falls. Your mouth hangs open. Apparently, this is happening.
„I did not!!“, you exclaim before you can find a polite way to tell him he must confuse you with someone.
All Might snaps his fingers again and gives you another grin.
„So, it is you!“, he booms. You feel your face heat up.
„Sir, with all due respect, I did not call you a cockroach!“, you defend yourself. You really didn't.
„Oh, right, just my hair.“, he contemplates.
You're not sure what to say at that. He's right. You did say that. But to be fair it was during a very vulnerable moment. Your face must look like a tomato by now.
„I'm very sorry if that offended you. I didn't mean it in a demeaning way.“, you try to save your neck.
„So cockroaches are a good thing?“, he teases you. You think about that for a moment.
„W-well, they sure are a success of evolution. I mean nothing can kill these guys. So, in a way, they are like you...“, you trail off.
All Might gawks at you and you realize what you just said. Now you actually compared him to a cockroach.
„Y-you know, because no villain can defeat you...“, you add a bit more quiet. You look at your shoes embarrassedly. I guess there goes any chance of getting that job, you think.
Then, All Might lets out that gorgeous laugh again that you remember. And he can't seem to stop laughing. Embarrassed, you stand next to him. You're even more embarrassed when the elevator door opens again and one of the interviewers is standing in front of you.
You shrink under the man's gaze while All Might tries to catch his breath.
„All Might, has this woman been bothering you? I can assure you, we can exclude her from the ongoing applicant selection.“, the man says cooly.
All Might wipes the side of his face and turns to you. „You applied for the assistant position?“, he asks you. You can only nod at that. He turns back to the interviewer.
 „Hire her, Kanno-san!“
~*~*~*~ *~*
The present day, Japan.
Eventually, you put your clothes away and start tackling those junk boxes that you've been avoiding all day. You manage to find a place for most things. Also, you christen your new junk drawer by shoving all things you don't find a new place for in said drawer.
Most of the boxes are empty now. You fold them and put them into the hallway so you can take them out tomorrow. The only boxes left now are the boxes filled with pictures. Carefully, you open the box. There are some picture frames you still need to hang on the wall. There's Takeo on his first day of kindergarten. There's you and Takeo under a Christmas tree in your house in America. And there's Takeo and you just a few months ago when he graduated high school.
Takeo graduated at the age of nineteen. He's been held back a year because his English was too bad. At least that's what his teachers told you. Of course, you spoke Japanese with him at home but you don't think that was the reason he was held back. The truth is that Takeo was a sensitive child. It didn't help that he was born without a quirk. It was an invitation to others to pick on him.
You remember that he cried a lot during his first year in school. Other children's quirks manifested already in kindergarten. During the first year of primary school, he still held onto hope that his quirk would present eventually. Still, he already got dubbed quirkless. He also was the only Asian kid in class. And the only kid with a single working mother. You got lucky and found a job quite fast after quitting All Might's agency. However, it required you to move to a suburban area. A lot of the other mothers lead a more traditional life with being married and having multiple kids. Also, most of them were white. So, similar to your son, you didn't make many friends.
People respected you since you had a job at a well-respected hero agency. You also tried to get involved in the local community. But it was hard to bond with the other women over mac and cheese and the Superbowl barbeque when you don't really care for American football or food that you never ate before coming to the USA.
It was hard on your son too. He tried to fit in. Tried to play with the other kids. However, he couldn't keep up with them when they had quirk competition or went to the park throwing baseballs with their dads.
It probably was during that first year of primary school when Takeo asked for the first time where his dad was because „I must have one“, as he put it. Of course, you knew this question would eventually come. However, you still weren't prepared. You gave him a speech on how sometimes things don't work out the way you want them to and that you're still very happy to be his mom.
Back then, that was enough. The conversation came up a couple of times later. Especially during his early teen years, these talks became more heated. Partly that was your fault because you gave only very vague answers about your son's origin. However, as he grew up, he must've accepted it or understood that his father's absence was not your choice.
After you've put up the picture frames, you send Takeo another picture of your now neat apartment. In response, he sends a picture of his dorm room which already looks like a mess. You roll your eyes before putting your phone away again.
Only then you notice how the sun already started to set. You sigh before getting up and cook yourself some dinner.
~*~*~*~ *~*
The present day, Japan, the other side of Musutafu.
Instant Ramen, once again.
Toshinori pours the hot water into the plastic pot. He really shouldn't eat this stuff anymore. Ever since his stomach injury, he has trouble digesting processed food. He can't help it though. He never learned how to cook healthy food for himself. And these days he's too tired to make anything else than something quick and easy. Toshinori sets a five-minute-timer before plopping down on his couch.
Staring at the ceiling, he massages his temples. It still feels unreal to him how quickly his body deteriorated. Only a couple of years ago, he handled a full schedule with no problems. Now, a mere day at school wears him down like this. He stares at the ceiling until the timer goes off.
He eats his ramen cup in front of the TV show. There aren't any shows that really interest him so he keeps skipping channels. After his dinner, he grades a few more papers and then goes to bed. Before the light's off, he scrolls through his phone a bit. With his private account, he follows young Midoriya. He likes a post of him and his classmates having a movie night in the dorms. He thinks back to his own school days. He remembers already being so focused on his hero career in High School that he only had a few friends during his time at school. The only time he truly enjoyed his youth was during his time in America. David introduced him to college life and made sure that Toshinori visited his fair share of frat parties.
Sometimes he wonders what it would've been like if he met you back then. When he wasn't already an established figure in the hero society. When he was just Toshinori most of the time. He could've gotten to know you as himself. It's not that you never got to know the real Toshinori. You did. Sometimes he thinks that you're the only one who got to know the real him after Shimura-sensei.
He closes social media and puts his phone on his nightstand. He turns on his uninjured side to sleep but he feels restless. After a couple of minutes, he gives up. It's something you always used to scold him for. „You're too impatient, Toshi. You need to give your body and mind to calm down a bit after a long day.“, you probably would say.
Toshinori gets up and walks over to his balcony. He pushes the sliding door open and takes in a breath of fresh night air. He steps outside barefoot. That's another thing y/n would scold me for, he thinks. He walks over to the railing. A soft breeze lifts up his shirt and he peers down the balcony into the dark void beneath. Only a few streetlights illuminate the empty street below. He leans back again and watches the skyline in front of him.
He remembers all the nights he couldn't sleep before. After a long villain fight when the adrenaline in his veins kept him from sleeping. Or after a big media event when his brain overflowed with impressions and thoughts and he just couldn't find any rest. There were nights that were easier to handle and those that were not. The easier ones usually were connected to you.
Part of him wished you were here right now. Joining him on the balcony only a few minutes after he slid out of bed. Wrapping your delicate arms around him from the back. Leaning your face against his back, softly whispering: „What's on your mind, Toshi?“.
He runs a hand through his hair. What is on his mind? He's not sure. Nothing out of the ordinary happened today. And yet, he feels so restless. Maybe it's because he's not used to this. This... calmness. All his life, there always was something. Even when there was nothing, he was on call just waiting for something to happen. And it always did. Now there really is nothing. No emergencies, no villains to fight, no nothing. Well, actually, that was all still happening but it's not like he could do anything about it. Not in his quirkless state. Which sucks even more. Seeing all the fights and emergencies on TV and not being able to do anything about it.
Toshinori shivers. It's getting cold outside and he's only wearing a thin pyjama. He takes a last look at the illuminated city before slipping back inside. Pulling on the curtains, he blends out the city and its villains, heroes and all emergencies that are not his responsibility anymore.

“You have to promise to use this wisely and not get caught with it. Not in school, and certainly not at home,” you reiterate to Kai for maybe the third time in twenty minutes.
“I know, I know! Trust me, princess, I know the risks.”
“If it runs out, I can give you more, but if my parents suspect something’s up, they’ll find a way to contact yours.”
“But what if I run out before the day’s over and it’s just wasted? If I don’t use it, it drains.”
You sigh. “What are you suggesting?”
“I don’t know… can’t I just play with it a little? I can’t do that much damage during school hours. Worst I could do is make some kid trip over his shoelaces.”
“Kai!”
“I’m kidding! But seriously, Y/N…”
“Okay, I see your point. Do whatever you want with it, just don’t get caught.”
“And if I run out, you’ll give me more?” He hates to sound greedy, but he’s desperate.
“Of course. I can’t imagine what it’s like to not have permanent access, so as little as I use mine, I might as well give it to you.” He nods. “But again, be careful.”
“I will.”
“Okay. We’re coming up on the school now. Take my hand.”
He does, and then you nod to him to siphon. “Tell me when to stop.”
Your hands glow, but it doesn’t hurt. Kai says when he siphons his siblings, it hurts them. But you don’t feel any pain. If anything, your body warms with a tingly, pleasure-like feeling. After about thirty seconds, you start to feel a little dizzy though, and decide that’s a good time to cut him off.
“Stop.”
He drops your hand immediately. “Sorry.”
“It’s okay. No pain, just a little dizzy.”
“Okay,” he confirms. He’d hate to hurt the one person who’s ever given him any love and attention.
“How do you feel?”
Kai smiles as the magic runs through his veins. He lets out a small moan that settles in the pit of your stomach. “Good,” he finally answers. He then takes the pencil you’ve stuck behind your ear and makes it float in the air.
“Good,” you say, stopping for a moment to kiss the side of his face. You take your pencil back as the school comes into view. “See you in class?”
“Mhm.”
The two of you walk up to the doors together, then part ways for your first class.
You have third period together, but Kai sits all the way in the back, while you’re in the middle row. The teacher assigned the seats, and rudely placed his kids by favoritism: most engaged in the front; most uninterested in the back. Kai’s incredibly smart, but that comes to his disadvantage in school. Most of the lessons are boring; he passes them with flying colors and faces little challenge completing them. He finishes early, or already understands the material, and ends up tapping his foot or fingers during class. Mr. Peters interprets this as disrespect and boredom.
Today in class, you’re reviewing the different systems in the body. Yet another topic that Kai has practically memorized. The final exam is in three weeks, though with the material being as difficult as it is, Mr. Peters has decided to start studying early. The material isn’t too much of a challenge for you, though Kai still has you beat in that matter.
The man makes a list of topics on the chalkboard, then slowly goes down his list asking and answering questions about each one. He asks something and the class responds, but every so often, someone asks their own question, and he launches into a huge explanation for it. It’s during one of your classmate’s questions that you suddenly start to feel a heaviness in the bottom of your stomach.
Immediately, you put a hand to it. Your mind races to think of what could’ve caused it. You hadn’t eaten anything weird that day, nor have you had any aches or pains all week. In the middle of your train of thought, the feeling shifts lower. There’s a pressure traveling south. In the next moment, it feels like circles being rubbed down along your body. Intentional pressure. Kai.
Your brain provides the reason as soon as you recall your morning: you gave him magic.
“Do whatever you want with it,” you had told him.
Well, he sure is now.
Slowly, you turn to face him. His hands are hidden from sight, inside his desk, but the smile creeping on his face is unmistakable. He’s certainly messing with you.
Stop, you mouth to him.
The bastard only winks.
You turn back around and cross your legs over each other, squeezing them tight. There’s no freaking way he’s doing this in the middle of class.
The pressure suddenly increases. You can almost feel the pads of his fingers touching you - one on your clit, two brushing your folds. You bite your lip so hard it might bleed. Your hands are clenched into fists underneath the table.
“Kai, stop,” you think, hoping there’s even a point one percent chance he can read your mind. He doesn’t, though, and if anything, mimics dipping between your folds, feeling your walls.
“The organs involved in the endocrine system are- Y/N,” your teacher stops mid-sentence to look at you, are you okay?!”
You release your fists, hoping to look less suspicious. “Yeah. I have a stomach ache. Do you- do you mind if I go to the restroom?”
Mr. Peters hurries to his desk for a hall pass. “Not at all. Go to the nurse if it doesn’t feel better in ten minutes.”
“Yes, sir. Thank you.” You take it and hurry out the door.
You spare a glance at Kai on your way out. He smirks at you when you look at him, but then looks back at his hands, clearly focused. The feeling sharpens, and you dash out the door.
As soon as you reach the bathroom, you fling yourself against the wall in the nearest stall. You’re still biting your lip not to moan, but don’t fight the need that brings you to unbuckle your belt to relieve some of the built-up tension. Criminally, it seems Kai can still control you despite the distance. You can still feel his finger-pads petting your walls. The pressure is still on your clit, and it only grows by the minute.
“Fuck,” you mutter, feeling yourself getting close.
You drop two fingers to your clit, rubbing it yourself. Your knees almost buckle, and you have to push your toes against the edge of the toilet to not slip.
“Goddammit, Kai.” It’s a whisper, but you really hope no one else is in the bathroom right then.
You focus on the way he feels on you, as well as the added pressure you’re giving yourself. Within two minutes’ time, you come. It hits you hard. Your knees almost give out, despite the way you tried to hold yourself upright. Your chest heaves; the sensation sends pleasure throughout your whole body. Your vision gets spotty, and soon, your lip starts to bleed. It’s overwhelming in all the best ways.
After another few seconds, Kai seemingly retracts his fingers. You curse him the minute he does, remembering you’re in school, and you’re supposed to be studying in class right now.
The moment you get your bearings, you stumble to your feet and towards the sink. You wash your hands and grab onto the solid material to ground yourself; your brain is still swimming in post-high fuzzies.
“Fuck you, Kai,” you think, again telepathically, hoping he can hear you. If he can, you’d bet your life on the fact that he’s wearing his signature smirk.
When you finally recover, you make your way back to class. You offer Mr. Peters a half smile and report that most of it is gone. “Must’ve been something I ate this morning,” you lie.
He replies with his own smile and a nod, and goes back to teaching.
The moment you sit, you turn to see Kai, who is, in fact, smirking at you. You give him a playful roll of your eyes before turning back to the lesson.
Luckily, that’s his only shenanigan for the day. During lunch and your other classes together, he dares to act innocent. You would scold him for it during lunchtime, but Jo is sitting with you today, preventing that entirely.
The walk back to school provides the perfect timing.
“Malachai Parker,” you say in your best authoritative voice.
“What? Did I do something wrong?”
“Did I do something wrong?! Did I do- you know what you did.”
“I don’t recall.”
“Third period. You and your magic fingers. You-”
“Oh,” he has the nerve to laugh, “that. Did you like that?”
“Did I like that?! Kai, during class?!”
“You said I could do whatever I wanted as long as I didn’t get caught. I didn’t get caught.”
You scoff. “I did not mean for you to do that!”
“But you liked it. What’d you do in the bathroom?”
“What?!”
“Why’d you go to the bathroom?”
“To hide the fact you were fingering me in class! What do you think I went for?!”
“Did you come?”
“Excuse me?”
“Simple question, princess.”
“I did not-”
“Don’t lie to me now.”
“Fine,” you bite your lip, “I did.”
He smiles. “Got you. Knew you liked it.”
“That was so inappropriate! I’d never think you’d be so bold. And when did you know when to stop? You did, like, ten seconds after I finished.”
He chuckles like it’s a game. “The last five times I’ve fingered you, it’s taken you five minutes on average to come. I watched on my watch; three minutes happened in class, two in the bathroom. I gave ten seconds to spare to either get you there if you needed extra time, or to ride you through it. Turns out, I’m pretty spot on.”
“Putting your brain to great use,” you mumble, “and my magic.”
Suddenly, he looks nervous. “You’re still gonna give it to me, right? I didn’t lose my chances to have it, did I? Because I can behave. Y/N, I promise. It won’t happen again.”
You change your attitude to match his. “Oh, baby, no. No, I’m not like that. Don’t you worry about stuff like that. I’m still gonna give you magic, even if you use it in questionable ways.”
“Okay. I’m sorry.”
“It’s okay. But one condition.”
“Yes ma’am?”
“Wait until actual study time, like in the library, to do it. Not in class. Unless we’re watching a movie.”
“Deal.”
“Good.”
“I love you, you little weasel.”
He scrunches his nose at the nickname. “I love you, too.” Then he chuckles. “I fingered you in class.”
“Kai!”

— Pinnacle [ tsukishima kei university au series ]
— and when i felt like i was an old cardigan ; tsukishima doesn’t know why he’s been thinking about you, about the time you got scolded by your mom at the parking lot—to be exact.
author’s notes : no mention of (y/n), written in second person pov, semi alternative universe, timeskip!tsukishima, college life, not proofread, english is not my first language
[ masterlist ] | [ ask daleelah go to box box 🐭 ]
The early morning chill was biting as Tsukishima and Yamaguchi started their practice. The university volleyball team had an intense session scheduled today, beginning with a few laps around campus as part of their physical strengthening routine. Tsukishima’s breath came out in visible puffs as he kept a steady pace, Yamaguchi running beside him.
“Have you sent her a message?” Yamaguchi asked, breaking the silence. Tsukishima didn’t need to ask who he was referring to.
“I told you, she said she’s on a holiday trip with her family,” Tsukishima replied, his mind flashing back to the conversation you had at the infirmary, where you adamantly refused to let the doctor give you permission to miss the exam because your mom has already planned a trip for your holiday.
Yamaguchi frowned, clearly not satisfied with that answer. “Yeah, but after seeing how her mother treated her, I bet she’s not enjoying any bit of that holiday.”
“That’s not for anyone to judge, Yamaguchi,” Tsukishima said, though his tone lacked conviction.
The two fell into silence again. It had been two weeks since the day he saw your mother scolding you in the parking lot. The memory of you forcing yourself to drink six sachets of ginseng tonic just to satisfy her still haunted him. Despite the cold air, a wave of warmth and worry spread through his chest. He wanted to ask you if it was necessary, if you were having a good time on your holiday, if you were really okay—but he didn’t. He swallowed those worries, not wanting to intrude on something so personal.
Yamaguchi slowed his pace, glancing at his friend. “It’s for you to decide, but I know you’ve been worried about her since that day, Tsukki.”
Tsukishima’s pace faltered, his steps slowing as Yamaguchi continued ahead, leaving him standing still on the track. His heart thudded in his chest—not from the exertion, but from the flood of emotions he had been keeping at bay. He didn’t want to admit it, but Yamaguchi was right. The image of you, standing in the parking lot, looking so defeated, had been stuck in his mind. And the way your mother treated you… it reminded him too much of how he had treated you in the lab—demanding, critical, never satisfied. It made him feel guilty, like he had contributed to your burden.
He exhaled deeply, watching the breath escape from his lips in a puff of white. The morning practice was far from over, but Tsukishima felt as if he was running in circles, stuck between wanting to reach out to you and the fear of making things worse.
As he resumed his run, his mind kept drifting back to you, and he couldn’t shake the feeling that maybe—just maybe—Yamaguchi was right. Maybe he should send that message after all.
After practice, Tsukishima and Yamaguchi walked together to get smoothies from Yamaguchi’s favorite store. The conversation was lighter now, shifting to the upcoming winter camp.
“The coach said we’ll have a nice winter camp in Okinawa in two days,” Yamaguchi said excitedly. “Can you believe it? Training on the beach, team bonding—it's going to be awesome.”
Tsukishima nodded, though his mind was elsewhere. “Yeah,”
They continued chatting as they waited in line, talking about the drills they’d do on the beach and the matches they might play against other teams during the camp. The excitement in Yamaguchi’s voice was contagious, and even Tsukishima felt a spark of anticipation for the camp.
When they finally took their orders and turned to leave the store, they stopped short—there you were, standing right behind them in line. You looked surprised and flustered to see them, and there was a brief moment of awkward silence.
“Hey, I didn’t know you were back from your holiday,” Yamaguchi said, breaking the silence with a cheerful grin.
Tsukishima’s eyes met yours, and he felt a rush of questions rise to his lips. He wanted to ask if you were okay, how the holiday had really been, if your mother had eased up on you—but he held back, simply watching you instead.
You smiled awkwardly and bowed your head politely to greet them as your seniors. “My holiday trip just ended two days ago, and I decided to come back to the dorm as fast as I could.”
“Why? Did you not enjoy it?” Yamaguchi asked innocently, his curiosity genuine. But before you could answer, Tsukishima discreetly stepped on Yamaguchi’s foot, silently urging him to stop pushing further. Yamaguchi winced but got the message, quickly falling silent.
You let out a small, forced chuckle, trying to mask your true feelings. “No, it was fine. It’s just that my parents want me to join the winter class with Professor Regenstein,” you explained, your eyes flickering to Tsukishima’s, searching for a reaction.
At this, Tsukishima’s gaze sharpened. “Professor Regenstein from the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology department?”
You nodded. “Yes, that’s the one.”
Tsukishima’s expression softened slightly, impressed. “He’s a great professor. You’ll get a lot of insight from his class.”
You nodded, though your smile didn’t quite reach your eyes. “Yeah, that’s what my parents said.”
There was a brief silence, the air between you filled with unspoken words. Tsukishima could see the exhaustion in your eyes, the weight you were carrying from your holiday. He wanted to say something—anything—that might ease that burden, but he didn’t know where to start.
Yamaguchi, sensing the tension, jumped in again, this time with a lighter tone. “Well, it’s good to see you back! Maybe we can all grab lunch before we leave for winter camp.”
You blinked in confusion, tilting your head slightly. “Winter camp? What do you mean?”
Yamaguchi smiled, nodding enthusiastically. “Yeah, the volleyball team is heading to Okinawa for winter camp in two days. It’s going to be great—training on the beach, team bonding, all that fun stuff.”
Your smile faltered, a slight drop in your expression as his words sank in. “Oh, I see… that sounds… exciting.”
Tsukishima noticed the subtle shift in your demeanor, his own expression softening. He could see the disappointment you were trying to hide, the way your shoulders tensed slightly at the news.
Yamaguchi, still oblivious, continued with a grin, “Yeah, it’ll be a nice change of pace. But hey, how about we grab lunch tomorrow around noon before we leave?”
You forced a smile, nodding even though your mind was elsewhere. “Yeah, sure. Noon sounds good.”
Tsukishima watched you closely, feeling a pang of guilt that he couldn’t quite place. “Don’t worry, I’ll text you the time and place later.” He wanted to say something to reassure you, but the words caught in his throat. Instead, he just offered you a small, understanding smile as they began to leave the shop.
As they walked out, Tsukishima couldn’t shake the feeling that he should have said more. He felt conflicted, torn between wanting to keep his distance and wanting to be there for you. The memory of your strained expression lingered in his mind, and he knew he wouldn’t be able to stop thinking about it anytime soon.

november 2 2024 vs habs, 3-1 win
bond fic part three (1, 2). i don't think they'll all be in this 'world' from now on, but i definitely plan to revisit, especially if sid keeps saying insane things like 'i love....really enjoy playing with him' on television while making the most blatant genoface of all time.
Sid feels guilty about the bond.
It doesn’t take a genius to tell that it’s benefitting him right now a lot more than it is Geno. It also doesn’t require any special detective skills to narrow down what exactly it was that caused it to clamor for recognition now, after presumably years of lying dormant—the specialists the team has hauled in haven’t been able to pinpoint exactly when it started to click into place, but they’ve narrowed it down to sometime in 2014.
Sochi. Coughing up a 3-1 playoffs lead to the Rangers (the first time). The front office getting a clean sweep, with barely-veiled references to their leadership, or rather lack thereof, being the cause. Sid remembers how much closer to Geno he felt after their post-Olympics conversation, how much they talked that summer, hours on the phone railing at ownership, at management, at their teammates.
He’d wondered why Geno brought that up after his 500th goal. It had felt personal, almost, to hear him give up such a private, important detail like when they really started to consider each other family to the public.
Now, though, Sid knows why. That was the bond. It was the bond, which had sat patiently for a decade, pushing Geno closer to Sid, making him beg for time on Sid’s line, which—really, shouldn’t that have been a clue? He puts up 11 points in five games and suddenly wants to switch to wing? Geno’s always said that the Penguins were Sid’s team, always deferred to him and stepped back and let him take the spotlight, but at the expense of his own points production? It was the bond sensing a weakness, a stumbling in Sid’s ability to lead the team on his own, that pushed Geno up off his own line to Sid’s side. Geno never would have argued so hard to give up his role otherwise, especially not when his line was helping keep the team afloat.
After the Anaheim game, they’d stood in the parking lot for almost 20 minutes, Geno holding them up as he braced himself against the car, before someone found them. The athletic trainers had come running first, then the medical staff, and they’d been examined in separate rooms. Sid had been allowed to drive himself home, but Geno was still in with Vyas when he left, sitting on an exam table and shaking so hard he had to lean against a trainer to stay upright.
Everything in Sid had screamed at him to stay, but Kevin had firmly ushered him onward, and Sid had no choice but to go home.
And then Geno missed practice. A maintenance day, Sully called it, but the twanging discontent at the periphery of Sid’s sensation said otherwise, and he’d have gone straight to Geno’s after practice if he hadn’t been firmly warned off doing so. He needs space, Vyas had said. He’s not adapting as well as you to the bond, and proximity is pushing him past his own limits. He can’t help it. You need to give him today, and he’ll be better tomorrow. This will take time for the two of you to adjust before it’s smooth.
When Geno shows up for the game, though, the circles under his eyes are so dark that Kris is at his side immediately, brow furrowed with worry as he corrals Geno off to a corner of the lounge to talk to him. Geno listens, but doesn’t do anything except shake his head, even when Kris gets more animated, talking with his hands and getting in Geno’s space.
Sid leaves them to it. Kris knows what happened, is one of the few people they told, but there’s nothing he or anyone else can do. There’s nothing Sid can do, even, except keep playing and listen to the staff and hope that whatever is keeping Geno from adjusting resolves itself soon.
They can’t avoid each other in the game, though. Sid doesn’t think they’ve ever shared this much ice time in their whole careers as they have the last two games. Every shift, every faceoff, Geno’s there at his left, crouched down and staring at the puck, waiting for it to drop and play to start. On the bench they bend together over the iPad, and even Ricky trying to sit between them at Vyas’s request after the first period doesn’t last more than a few shifts.
Sid feels like he’s orbiting something, their gravitational pulls drawing them closer and closer together; collision feels inevitable and imminent. He can’t stay away from Geno, and he doesn’t want to.
Geno on his wing is a revelation. He’s settling into it now, digging in the corners and whipping the puck around the boards back to the point, doing all the dirty work to set up the rest of their skaters for a goal that he doesn’t get a single bit of credit on the scoresheet for. Sid knows, though, can feel the bond humming when they’re clicking out there, knows that his passes to Geno are going to hit every time, knows that Geno will find him through traffic and set him up no matter what.
It’s the third period when Geno starts swearing on the bench.
Sid scoots closer and tries to talk to him, but Geno shakes his head vehemently and hits his stick on the boards, going off in Russian to himself, and when he stands up and moves down the bench, Sid gives up.
They get the win. It’s hockey night in Canada, so Sid has to grab some branded towel and talk to the kid from Sportsnet, but his mind is a million miles away.
It’s like watching from a distance when he hears himself almost say he loves Geno on national television.
He’s able to backtrack, soften it and change what he was about to say, but when he finally escapes to the locker room, his hands are shaking as he unties his skates.
Sid can practically see Geno at home, pacing his kitchen and fighting with himself over how he feels. It’s the same conflict that’s been bubbling up since Halloween night in Sid, the one he didn’t notice until Geno left after the game. The same fear, the same worry, the same realization that for years there’s been something there that neither of them have seen.
Sid isn’t adapting better to the bond at all, it turns out. He’s just been better at folding himself in denial over what it meant.

Oral Exam
Natasha Romanoff x Female Reader
When your academic rival gets the graduate assistant job you wanted, you’re standoffish towards each other until one party changes everything
Warnings: Smut! 18+ please! Kissing, cursing, oral (both receiving), thigh riding, thirsting for Nat
Note: I just couldn’t get college Nat out of my head again so here we are. Enjoy!
Natasha Romanoff Masterlist 1, Natasha Romanoff Masterlist 2, Main Masterlist
Tumblr media
It’s finally summer break. Well, for exactly one week it was. You decided to stay for summer classes and try to graduate early, so you only got one week of break.
That part isn’t ideal, but some of your friends are also staying. You’re determined to make it a fun summer anyways.
As you and Wanda walk to class, you catch up on her week at home.
“How was your family?” You ask her.
“Clingy,” she says. “But really good. Pietro asked about you.” She says the last part with a grin knowing that Pietro has had a crush on you since he met you.
“Not my type,” you say, laughing as you open the door to the building.
Wanda chuckles and you follow her inside.
“Right. Your type is redhead sisters of your close friend,” she teases.
“Wands, I do not have a type and it’s certainly not Natasha!”
Wanda laughs it off and you two walk into the classroom. You sit next to her and later Kate comes in and sits on your other side.
“Who got the graduate assistant job?” Another one of your friends, Peter, asks the group.
“I don’t know. I just know it wasn’t me,” you say with a bite to your tone.
You were up for the role despite being a year away from graduation. The professor, Dr. Banner, had loved your writing this semester and he was going to make an exception for you. But at the last minute someone else applied and got the job.
You’re still teeming from the memory when none other than Natasha Romanoff walks in. Was she in this class? Surely she had taken it already.
“Hello everyone. Dr. Banner is running behind, so I’m going to be leading class today. I’m Natasha your graduate assistant,” the redhead introduces herself.
She throws a glance your way and you cross your arms over your chest. Of course she got the job. Dr. Banner practically drools over her.
Natasha starts going over the syllabus with the class and dives into the material. You don’t say a word the entire lecture. She notices.
“I will see you all tomorrow,” Natasha says. Everyone gathers their things, but you’re stopped by her voice. “Can you hang back, y/n?”
You stay put and wait for your classmates to leave. Natasha leans against the desk and looks you over. You feel warm under her gaze.
“Are you not going to participate in class?” Nat asks.
“Not when you got the job I deserved,” you say.
“Ah,” Nat revels. “I’m sorry.”
You scoff at her words. She stands up straighter. You don’t miss the way her dress hugs her hips as she does so.
“I am sorry. Even if you don’t believe me. We both applied for the job. It’s not personal,” Nat says.
“You only got the job because Banner wants to fuck you.”
“How dare you?” Nat says. She invades your space and you’re overcome by the scent of her. “Maybe Bruce wants to sleep with me, which never ever will happen. But I got this job because I’m qualified for it. I worked for it. Do not reduce me to something that man wants.”
You don’t really know how to reply. You know everything she said is true and you feel bad for even questioning her qualification.
“Are you going to say anything?” Nat asks.
“I’m sorry. I’ll participate in class tomorrow,” you say.
Natasha backs away from you and gathers her papers from the desk.
“Good. Your grade depends on it and I’d hate for a pretty girl like you to fail this class,” she says. Her tone changed and for the first time you really think you might be attracted to her.
You leave the classroom and meet up with your classmates to do your homework. The next couple of weeks go by pretty smoothly. You participate and find Natasha to be tolerable despite her position.
She wears dresses and button ups that threaten to distract you, but you keep trying to fight your attraction to her.
It’s one week before finals when you meet up with your classmates to study.
But at some point the study session turns into a drinking game.
You’re a few shots in when your friend Yelena walks in the door. She’s been home for the summer, so you haven’t seen her.
“Yelena!” You pull her into a hug and kiss her cheeks.
“Hi drunk, y/n,” she says, chuckling at your over affectionate self. “I brought Nat hope that’s cool.”
Before you can reply, Yelena is off to talk to her girlfriend. Natasha appears behind her. She’s wearing a light blue button up shirt and khakis. She is wearing what she had on in class today and she looks so good.
“This doesn’t look like studying,” Natasha says, taking in the scene. There are people everywhere drinking and chatting.
“You want a drink?” You ask her, ignoring her comment.
She nods and you grab her a beer. You get pulled away to play a game and beer pong, but after you win you try and find Nat again.
She’s outside and you bring her another drink. Nat accepts it easily, getting a little buzz of her own.
“You look good,” she tells you. It catches you off guard.
“Oh, thanks. You look good too,” you tell her. And she does. She’s undone some of her shirt buttons and her bra peaks out just a bit from her shirt.
“Thank you, y/n,” Nat says. It’s dark but you think you see her blush. It’s quiet for a moment as the two of you stand together. She breaks the silence. “I forgot you were friends with my sister.”
“Oh yeah. Yelena and I have been friends since freshman year. She’s great.”
“I’m inclined to agree. Do you think Kate is good for her?” Nat asks. It’s already the longest conversation you’ve ever had with the woman.
You nod. “They’re both really happy.”
“Good,” Nat says. “What about you? Are you seeing anyone?”
“Nope,” you say. “Although my friend’s brother is into me, so it is nice to be crushed on.”
Natasha chuckles and takes a sip of her beer. You notice the way her neck flexes as she leans it back and swallows the drink.
“You’re so beautiful,” you blurt out, feeling unfiltered from the shots you took earlier. “I mean- yeah you’re beautiful and I’m annoyed by your academic success but I also find you incredibly attractive.”
She smirks at your rambling. Natasha shifts closer to you. Her lips hover over yours.
“I also find you attractive,” Natasha says. “And I really want to kiss you right now.”
“Please.”
Natasha closes the distance and kisses you. Her empty hand comes to the back of your neck to deepen the kiss. When her tongue moves into your mouth, you feel weak in your knees.
“My bedroom is upstairs,” you tell her once you break for air.
“Let’s go,” she says.
You take her hand and pull her through the crowded rooms to your bedroom. She closes the door behind herself and kisses you again. And again and again.
“I want you,” you tell her. “I thought about this when you were up there teaching today.”
“Oh yeah?” Nat asks. She kisses your neck and bites against your skin gently.
“Mhm, I don’t remember what the lesson was about.”
Natasha smirks against your neck and slips her hand under your shirt. Her strong hand moves over your side and pushes your shirt up. She stops kissing you long enough to slip the shirt over your head.
“Fuck you’re gorgeous,” Natasha says as her eyes rake over your body.
The two of fall back into your bed. You reach for her hips to pull her closer. She straddles your hips and kisses you again. You begin to unbutton her shirt and you leave a kiss to her exposed skin with every button.
When you open the shirt completely, you waste no time unclasping the bra that had just barely been showing earlier.
“Oh Natasha,” you say before you take her nipple into your mouth. She moans at the feeling.
“I get the feeling you don’t hate me,” Natasha says as she begins unbuttoning your pants. You continue your efforts against her chest.
“Not right now I don’t,” you say. She smirks and slips a hand into your pants. You can imagine how wet you are down there.
Nat pulls her chest away from your lips and moves down the bed. She slips your pants off and takes off her own. Her red lacy panties don’t leave much to your imagination.
“Fuck me,” you mumble. She chuckles and lays on her stomach, settling between your legs. She kisses the dark spot against your underwear, teasing you with her hands on your thighs.
“You’re so wet for me, baby. God I love it,” she says. “You don’t know how many times I imagined you just like this. All spread out for me.” She drops kisses to your thighs as she slips your underwear off your legs.
“You imagined this?” You ask her.
Nat pauses and moves back up your body. She hovers over you with her arms on either side of you. Leaning down she stops just short of your lips.
“I’ve imagined this. I’ve wanted you for so long. I had to take care of myself every night after class because I couldn’t get you out of my head,” Natasha explains.
You pull her lips to yours and kiss her until you’re dizzy. She grins and moves back to her previous spot.
“Fuck Natasha,” you moan as she dives right in this time. You’re not embarrassed for how wet you are for her. It makes you feel so good how she basks in the pleasure of you.
She uses her fingers to work around the edges of your folds and her tongue licks and sucks expertly. She’s definitely done this before.
When your legs begin to shake, she knows you’re close but she doesn’t stop her ministrations. She goes faster, adding a finger to work in tandem with her tongue.
“Nat,” you whisper, pleasure keeping you from being any louder. “Please.”
“Let go, detka,” she says. Her deep voice vibrates against you and cum hard against her tongue.
Natasha keeps her lips on you until you’re pushing on her head to ask for a break. She kisses your hips, stomach, and breasts as she makes her way to your face again.
“Are you okay?” She asks. Her hand rests on your cheek, it feels so loving, so soft.
“I’m- I feel amazing,” you tell her. She smiles and brushes her thumb over your face.
You kiss her softly, but the want for her takes over quickly and you’re pulling her onto you again. You slip off her panties and can’t help the gasp that you let out. Her body is just so perfect.
She moves her hips against you and moans when your leg falls between hers. You feel her wetness against your leg.
“I’m going to ride your thigh, baby,” Natasha says. You’re not going to say no to that.
You reach for her hips and help her move against you. She’s above you, her perfect breasts moving with every thrust of her hips.
“Come for me, Natasha. Show me how you thought about me each night after class,” you say. You know the talking is working when Nat has to fight to keep her hips going. “You’re so hot right now. Being so good for me.”
“Fuck,” she mumbles.
“That’s it, sweetheart. I thought about you when I touched myself too, Nat. Keep going.”
Her movements become more erratic and she’s coming on your thigh. It’s the hottest thing you’ve ever seen.
Once Natasha’s recovered, she lays next to you and you reach for her hand. She grips yours back easily.
“How do you feel?” You ask her, turning your head to face her. She’s got her eyes closed, and when she opens then you’re lost in the sea of green.
“I feel like I’m dangerously close to falling in love with you,” Natasha admits.
“Is that a bad thing?” You ask.
“No,” Nat says with a smirk. “But technically I am your teacher.”
“Yeah, that’s true. Well, maybe you can give me an A on my exam then?”
Natasha laughs and leans in to kiss your forehead.
“It was worth a shot,” you joke. “Really, I like you so much.”
“I like you so much, too. The class is over in a week and then we can go out,” Nat says. “If you’d like to,” she adds shyly.
“Of course,” you say. “Would you like to stay tonight? I mean it’s already late and you live across campus and-“
“Yes,” Nat interrupts your rambling. “I think technically this would still count as the same evening so we could-“
You cut her off with a kiss. The kind that is definitely going to lead to more. When you pull away, Nat is smiling mischievously.
“Oh, you’re definitely getting an A for tonight,” Natasha says.
“I haven’t even taken the exam yet,” you climb onto her and she giggles happily. It’s the most carefree you’ve ever seen her.
You sink down onto the mattress and settle between her legs.
“I get it,” Nat says aloud. “An oral exam.”
You share a long laugh with her. Mostly because you didn’t even mean to make that reference. But when you bury your face between her legs, suddenly everything becomes clear about how you feel about her.
And you know that you want her more than anything else in the world.

After the entrance exam had ended, the days of the most grueling exercises for (Y/n) and her team had started. Running on treadmills for hours, push ups, sit ups, jumping, and a ton more exercises became (Y/n)'s everyday activity. After that, she would eat dinner and then have practice with Barou in one of the training rooms. She would be exhausted at the end of the day, but it was a feeling she embraced. Anything was better than her home.
'I wonder when this will end.' She hummed as both her and Barou filled up their water bottles.
"You seem pretty tired today." Barou noted.
"More tired than usually."
"Ha? What? Are you worried for me, King?" (Y/n) teased, knowing how easy it is for Barou to get riled up.
"Don't be stupid. If the only person competent enough to keep up with me gets sick, I won't move further in my training." Barou said, trying to hide the embarrassment written on his face.
"So serious~" She mused as they entered the familiar training room.
"Shut it! Now, back to training. You pass me first for my shots. Then I will maybe help you out." To anyone else, his words did sound arrogant and lacked actual motivation to help, but (Y/n) was at this point pretty used with his words, and she knew he would help her.
"Ready, King?" She asked, kicking the ball up a few times as Barou rolled his eyes.
"Yeah, yeah."
A few hours later, the duo had finished their night practice, and they were resting a little in the practice room before they would shower. This was the least favorite part of (Y/n)'s day, since she always had to make up an excuse why she can't shower with everyone at the same time.
"Let's go then." Barou declared as (Y/n) finished drinking her water.
"You can go without me. I will clean up here first." She told Barou, who was about to protest, but got interrupted by her.
"I still need to cool down a little." (Y/n) added in quickly, causing the taller to just sigh and nod his head.
"Fine, but don't you dare to skip out in it. Because sleeping in your own sweat is gross."
"Yeah, yeah." She rolled her eyes as Barou walked out. Once he was gone, (Y/n) sighed, feeling very nervous about everything. At first she thought she would very easily avoid things like showers and changing clothes, since she didn't think she would bond with anyone in her team, so nobody would care to notice or ask, but now... now it was getting harder and harder.
'Get a grip on yourself, (Y/n). This project just started...' She lightly slapped her cheeks and shook herself out of those thoughts.
An hour later, (Y/n) got back to her team's room, where she found everyone asleep. In relief, she noted that Barou was there too, so she took her clean clothes and walked to the shower room.
Once inside she took off her clothes and quickly started showering, she knew that here she had to be fast, just like back in Hakuho.
'A never ending cycle-' the girl's thoughts got interrupted as she heard the door to the shower room open.
"(Y/n), you here?" She froze in her spot when she heard Barou's voice.
'Crap! Wasn't he asleep?!' She thought as his footsteps grew louder.
"Oi! I don't know what the issue is, but this is getting ridiculous-" Barou said loudly as he got to her shower cabin, only to freeze up at what he saw.  The boy's face paled as the two stared at each other for a moment.
"The hell are you looking at?!" (Y/n) yelled as Barou covered his eyes and looked away.
"Why are you yelling at me?! You are the one- THE HELL IS THIS?!" Barou said back, obviously embarrassed as (Y/n) sighed.
"Please, just get out. I will talk to you when I get dressed."
"Yeah..." with that, Barou bolted out of the room and (Y/n) turned off the water.
"Damn it... and I hid this well for so many years..." She but her lip and his the shower wall a few times.
After (Y/n) got out of the shower, the duo were now in the dining hall, both looking at each other awkwardly. If the situation wasn't serious, (Y/n) would have joked with Barou on how speechless he looked.
'Now he will probably tell Ego and I will get kicked out!' She thought nervously as Barou cleared his throat.
"So... you are a girl then?"
"Yes." She nodded her head.
"Why did you pretend to be a guy then?"
"I..." She looked at Barou in panic as the boy kept a stern look on his face.
'I can't just say that my 'parents' forced me to be like this!'
"Ehm..." (Y/n) looked around the place.
"It's... it's a long story, and I..."
Barou, noting her panic and discomfort sighed and shook his head. This whole situation was way more complicated than he thought. He just wanted to check up on (Y/n) to see if she was ok. He just thought that she may be sick or at the very least have discomfort showering with others, but now he understood the problem.
"You know what? I won't force you to tell me, the damage is already done... just, when you go to shower next time, tell me so I can make sure nobody goes into the shower room when you are there."
"You... you won't tell on me?" (Y/n) asked in shock as Barou shook his head.
"No."
"Why?"
"Whatever your reason for this is, is none of my businesse. I just came here to become the #1 striker. And also..."  Barou stopped speaking for a moment, contemplating what to say next.
"You are the only one I can practice with, and are also the only one who keeps hi-her side of the room clean."
(Y/n) stared at Barou for a moment, the said boy's face was as red as a tomato.
"What are you staring at?!" He asked, obviously agitated and embarrassed. (Y/n) blinked for a moment, and then smiled at the boy.
"Thank you, Barou. It means a lot."
"Tch! Whatever." The red-eyed boy said, causing (Y/n) to laugh a little at his outburst.
The same night, after both were back in their room, (Y/n) fell asleep as Barou stayed awake in his futon. He would occasionally glance at the sleeping girl, tensing up if he saw a teammate unconsciously move his arm closer to her. Barou sighed, unsure what to think of everything that unfolded tonight.
'Now I am even more confused.' He thought as he put a hand over his heart.

pairing: teen!toji fushiguro x teen!f!reader
warnings: none.
a/n: i just wanted to say that I absolutely adore all the comments saying this drabble series is making you nostalgic. besides me telling you all a bit about myself, the main goal really was to create a slice of life piece that makes people reminisce their school days xo
part 4
Tumblr media
today was momentous.
freedom was teasing her, dangling sweet summer fruits and the smell of sea salt in front of her. she gritted her teeth, her wrist aching as she frantically wrote the final few sentences of her last question. the clock was ticking, and it would all be over soon.
three.
two.
one…
“that’s it, everyone! time’s up!”
she had never packed up her things so fast in her life, practically shoving her way through the throng of students gathering outside the exam hall. all she could think about was feeling the warm sun on her skin and seeing the patches of blue between the jagged white clouds. today marked the final exam she had to sit, and she was now completely free for the summer.
in a exactly a week’s time, she would be sunning herself on the beach, swimming through crystal-clear waters, and snacking on crunchy slices of watermelon in the shade of palm trees with her best friends. in a week’s time, she would be back home for a whole month, a prospect that should make her buzz with excitement, if not for the nagging reminder of just one thing.
she wouldn’t be seeing toji.
they’d had a handful of conversations over the past three weeks, but nothing more had progressed. she still wasn’t sure if he really liked her, and she was starting to become convinced that she had to cut her losses. it was becoming exhausting overanalyzing toji’s every word, trying to decipher any hidden meanings in his messages and figuring out times when he might have been glancing at her too.
the chase was quite boring without much progress to show for it, and it was a hard pill to swallow that toji probably just wasn’t into her the way she wanted him to be.
she put her headphones and tuned out the world – and all thoughts of toji – attempting to bask in the sheer relief of having finished her exams, which had all gone relatively well. later that night, after pampering herself with an extra self-care routine in the shower, she called her friends for a celebratory gaming session. naturally, she aired out her frustrations about her gorgeous boy.
“i’m just worried the conversation is gonna completely fizzle out, ya know?” she ranted, rapidly clicking her mouse buttons. “it’s not like we’ll be on the bus together anymore.”
“oh my god, girl. i literally agree with your mom,” asa suddenly snapped, taking her aback in shock. “why don’t you just ask him on a date right now?”
“r-right now?” she sputtered. “i can’t do that.”
“why not? if he says no, then you’ll know if he doesn’t like you, and you can move on,” morgoth hummed, a rare voice of reason for once.
that was a whole lot easier said than done.
could she even do something so bold? she doubted she was courageous enough for something like that, and she was still clinging to her little girl dream of being asked out by a boy on her first date. her heart started to pound as it battled with her mind, her soul watching the back and forth she was having within herself.
suddenly, a thread snapped, and the raging waves stilled as if nothing had ever happened.
fuck it.
she left the game, earning cries of protest and anger from her friends, and whipped open her notes app on her phone. if she thought too much, she would chicken out and change her mind. after typing a dozen variations of how she was going to phrase the message, she finally settled on one and quickly copied and pasted it into their snapchat conversation.
hey toji, are you free by any chance to hang out tomorrow? x
and hit send.
oh…
she hit send.
she.
hit.
send.
“holy fucking shit,” she whispered incredulously, a sense of dread spreading from her head to her toes.
morgoth grunted, “what happened now?”
“i just asked toji out on a date tomorrow,” she replied, voice cracking with electric nerves.
her friends both sputtered and coughed at the same time. “fuck off, no you didn’t,” asa said, obviously shell-shocked with a hint of excitement. “tomorrow?!”
“what do you mean ‘fuck off’?! you told me to do it,” she huffed, crossing her arms over her chest and rocking back and forth on her bed.
“hah! well, what did you say?”
“i just asked him if he wanted to hang out tomorrow, and i put an ‘x’ at end to kind of… i don’t know, flirt i guess?”
her friends both cackled, and heat rose to her chest and face.
toji fushiguro is typing…
she gasped, more so screamed, “guys, fuck! oh my god, oh my god! he’s typing.”
“that was quick,” commented morgoth under his breath.
toji fushiguro has sent you a chat!
another shrill gasp. “guys, he replied!”
“leave it!” asa giggled, his giddiness infectious and making her laughter bubble out of her chest. “don’t be a desperate bitch.”
“fuck you, he replied quick! I’m not gonna just sit here and wait.”
toji fushiguro: yeah should be free for a bit tomorrow, when were you thinking?
oh my.
oh my…
“what’s he saying, huh?” asa giggled again.
“something good, i guess. her breathing suddenly got quicker,” morgoth chuckled, his laughter reverberating through his microphone.
hmm not sure haha, whenever you’re free i guess, i’m free all day tomorrow
play it cool. play it cool, goddamn it.
toji fushiguro: yeah, what about some time in the afternoon sure?
yeah sweet, does 4 sound okay or is that too late?
toji fushiguro: yeah 4 should be sweet, sounds good
aight, where do you wanna go? i still don’t know the good places to go to lmao
toji fushiguro: tbh i have no idea, sure like let’s just see when we meet up what you’re feeling
“hehe, guys, he says it’s up to what i’m feeling.”
ahaha ok then, where do you wanna meet up then?
toji fushiguro: oh yeah shit, uh you know where like the big wheel kinda is at the seafront? we could meet up there if you want?
the ferris wheel ahaha?
toji fushiguro: yeah the big wheel ahahah, literally the most recognizable place i could think of in town
haha ok no worries, i’ll see you tomorrow then, i’ll text you when i get there :)
toji fushiguro: yeah see you tomorrow x
she wasn’t a physical being limited to the confines of her bedroom anymore. no, she was limitless and infinite, soaring with ravens among the indigo clouds of twilight, her heart leaping with every sudden dip of their wings. life was good, life was meaningful, and holy shit. toji fushiguro had agreed to go on her very first date ever with her.
“guys.”
“what?”
“he sent me an ‘x’, and we’re going on a date tomorrow.”

Whatever happens, happens.
We spent the whole week practicing and quickly saw the results. Because we had a lot of exams right now I was pretty focused on myself and my work and fully occupied and exhausted. I was sleeping on the keyboard of my macbook after studying for my exam in psychology. “Maddy!” Olga shouted and shook me by my shoulder. “Huh” i shouted as I frightened and sat up. “Oh my god…did you study the whole night?” Olga asked confused. “Yeah…today we have the exam” i said rubbing my eyes. “Did you make it?” Olga asked me and I looked at the essay for the exam. “Yeah…” i said scrolling through the essay. “Good…get ready…we need to get to school” Olga said smirking and I nodded still tired. I washed my face and stepped under the shower before I got dressed and did my makeup and hair. I was wearing a white crop top that and a pink skirt that went to my knees and a top that had flowers on it over the crop top making the crop top visible through the top. My hair was curled from the bathrobe belt I wrapped into my hair last night. “Much better” Olga said smirking. “School’s gonna be fun” i said still tired. “Don’t remind me…two exams on one day…a test following” she said annoyed. We were walking down the stairs as I got a call from Maureen. “What is it?” i asked her over the phone a little annoyed already. “Did you look in your mailbox?” she asked sounding like a lightning hit her. “No, why?” i asked tired. “Just do it” she said and I walked down the stairs from the seventh floor to open my mailbox. “And now?” i asked confused. “Look for a magazine” she said and my eyes widened. “N o” i said warning. “Yes” she said laughing snd I immediately searched for a magazine. I found one of Vogue and couldn’t believe my eyes. “Please tell me that this is a joke” i said speechless. “I got one too…we’re on the covers” she said laughing and I was in total disbelief.
Tumblr media
I looked through it closing the mailbox again. I read through my article. “A name to remember” i read out loud. “Can you believe it?” she asked me laughing. “That’s unbelievable” i said laughing happily. I let out a happy scream snd Olga came to me. “Can’t be” she shouted as she looked at the magazine. “Maddy” she shouted and hugged me. “Annabelle and I already put it into a frame” Maureen said over the phone. “That’s so great” Olga said and hugged me. “I’m so proud of you” she said kissing my forehead. I was so happy I couldn’t even describe it. “I mean can you believe this…you two on a fucking magazine” Olga shouted and we laughed. I wanted to celebrate it but we had school so we happily made our way to school where we also met Annabelle and Maureen. “That’s gonna be our breakthrough” Maureen said and I nodded. As we reached uni we caught sone looks, some people were looking at us so it must have come around. “Do you think they know?” Olga asked me. “Of course they know” i said laughing as we made our way inside the building. After we had our first exam I was studying in the library for psychology just to be 100 percent safe. My phone made a sound and I muted it before noticing the text message from someone I would’ve never expected. Charles had texted me.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
My last answer was “I like you too but I can keep my hands off of men with girlfriends” and he left me on read which annoyed me. I wanted to talk to him like we did in Monaco but I just couldn’t.
Charles Pov
Of course I noticed how distant Madeleine was to me and as the contact was cut off I felt like I gave up too early. I focused on my career and she did the same how it looked. I was scrolling through Instagram as I saw that Madeleine had posted a story. When I looked at her story I found out that she listened to me and fought for her dream to be a model. She was perfect for it. I even saw how Chanel posted her with her friend while they did a shooting and promoted Madeleine. I felt proud and also a little down when I saw her. Maybe I just needed to leave her behind which became a problem as I walked into my apartment a week later just to find a magazine on the dining table. It was a Vogue magazine and in disbelief I looked at it and saw Madeleine on it. Alexandra loved Vogue so it was no wonder that she had their magazines. I felt a little damned and was thankful that neither my friend nor my girlfriend has seen her face. I took it as a sign that Madeleine was dancing on my social media algorithm and decided to text her…at this time she’s probably be at uni.
I left her on read because I understood it and because I didn’t really have an answer. It was hard enough with Alexandra always pushing my buttons but since Madeleine became views everything was burnt down. I put Alexandra to the side and just let her do her thing because I was exhausted. My brother and friends knew what was really going on and always tried to help me. It was clear that my relationship was slowly going to end end, it was like an invisible string that threatened to break. Alex tried to talk things out and to give us a last try but I didn’t really care I just wanted to get a distraction from Madeleine which was hard.
Madeleine Pov:
I knew too well where Olga hid Charles’s jacket so I searched for it and when I found it I put it to my chest. I was hating myself for missing him but I couldn’t hide from reality. I sniffed on it and could smell a little bit of his fragrance. It made me feel a little better. I didn’t know if I had anger or sadness inside me. I decided to use this and got into my gym-fit to work out a little, it was the best stress and anger-reduction for me. “What in god’s name are you doing?” Olga asked me confused. “Working out” i said while doing a cardio workout. “You immediately walked home after school…did something happen?” she asked me. “No” i said. “The last exams…” she said as she got out her books. “I don’t even understand their curriculum i mean the whole April and May nothing and in June they are bombing us with exams and tests” i said annoyed. “Yeah because mid july it’s over” she said casually sitting down opening her book and textbook. “It’s stressing I have so much to do” i said annoyed. “Ah right…don’t forget about our trip” she said and I sat up from crunch position. “I totally forgot that” i said. “Yeah me too…they gave us a packing list with all informations I have yours too” she said handing it to me. I looked through it. Since we were attending a university for art history our school trip this year would go to Paris because of the famous artworks there. “Fun, fun, fun” i said casually while Olga began to study. This school trip was in two weeks so we had still enough time. I didn’t even understand how I forgot about it after all it’s THAT topic in our grade besides me and Maureen.
I worked out a little more whole Olga was ready to go out with Annabel and Maureen for a birthday party of a student from our grade. I didn’t feel good so I decided to stay at home which wasn’t really a problem. I was sitting in my bed watching a movie while wearing Charles’s jacket. It was my favourite movie One Day. I was eating some popcorn too when I received a message from a certain man. “I’m sorry for not texting back…I didn’t know what to tell expect you” he texted. “Don’t worry…I didn’t expect something” i texted back.
We texted through the night and he even told me about his relationship just to prove me that I’m not a side-chick to him. From what he texted I knew that they were not doing good. I personally have nothing against Alexandra but after what he told me she seemed not to care about him or the relationship. I somehow felt bad for him. I sent him a picture of me wearing his jacket and he seemed to like it. I felt bad because I was a reason that he was in trouble but he assured me that it’s not my fault and that I don’t need to worry.
I just finished my art exam and texted Charles to tell him about it, he was in stress because he had a race this weekend in Spain but he texted me tho which I found sweet. I told him everything about school and life lately. We had a free hour because the professors had a meeting so me and Olga went shopping. While we walked through the school halls I still had attention and I noticed that things chanced since I did modelling. I was now even more active on Instagram and TikTok as before and actually earned a lot of views and new followers and it. I was already known for working with Chanel as a model and I kinda liked the attention. I was not the Madeleine only known from university anymore…people now started to recognised me. We walked down the streets to buy some clothes. “You really are going to be a famous bitch” Olga said smirking as I looked through some dresses. “I intend on becoming it” i said confidently. “My best friend is a model” Olga said smirking and I winked at her. “Try this one” she said handing me some dresses that I tried on.
We walked back to school with our shopping bags in our hands and had a lot of fun. It was nice to be seen especially cause men looked at us and Olga loved that. “How is it going with Lucas?” i asked her while we walked across the zebra crossing. “Don’t remind me…he’s so annoying he wants a date” she said annoyed and I laughed. “How’s it going with Charles?” she asked in return and I gave her a death-stare. “I don’t know…texting with him is nice but the distance…” i said shrugging my shoulders. “Fuck the distance” she said and I nodded.
Back in art class we had my favourite topic renaissance, it was that time of art in my opinion, the statues and the painting inside of cathedrals or paintings in general were just something special. I always found it funny how Olga hated arts and how she groaned as soon as misses walked in or how much sleep she actually got in arg class. Annabelle had the same in psychology which was actually quite funny and the reason they understood each other. I was listening to misses Diaz while Olga was actually awake for the first time but only because she was concentrating on this one guy in the row in front of us, I guess his name was Nick. “It’s so sad…” she said and I looked at her. “What?” “Arts” she said and I tried not to laugh. “You know what’s sad?” Annabelle whispered to me. “Tell me” i whispered back. “Back then men built cathedrals and with painting in it and or fancy fountains even statues of woman that represent the beauty of a woman and now they complain about almost everything” she said and I looked at her blinking multiple times. “That’s deep…you should tell that misses Diaz” i said amused and she just rolled her eyes. “Forget it” she said and I shook my head amused. I reminded myself on the trip to Paris next week and was super excited. “We could take a detour to Monaco” Maureen whispered mockingly and Annabelle laughed with me boxing Maureen’s arm. Carolin, my manager sent us a picture of advertising that was projected on screen in New York since she was working hard on bringing us into as many model industry as possible. It made me smile and even Charles sent me some screen that had some photos of us projected with a text like looks good that made me roll my eyes.
The trip was coming closer and I was walking home with Maureen from our practice as a call reached me. I smiled as I saw Charles profile picture on my screen. “Charles?” i asked surprised as I answered looking at Maureen who nodded and gave me a kiss on the cheek as our ways parted. “Am I interrupting something?” he asked carefully and I could hear that he was driving. “Not at all” i said smiling while walking over the street. “So you’ve got a little time for me?” he asked in a happy mood. “I’m free, yes” i said smiling. “I just wanted to call you and hear your voice” he said and I smiled. “How are you?” i asked him. “Now fine” he said and I laughed. “I’m wearing your jacket” i said with a smirk and I heard him laugh. “I bet it suits you” he said and I smirked. “It does” i said softly. “You know…I always asked myself if brown hair would suit me” i said flirty. “You have brown hair” he said and I laughed at him cause he didn’t get the joke. “It would” he said as he realised and I started laughing. “Guess what…I’m going to Paris on Monday” i said excited. “Paris?” he asked me surprised. “Yeah we have a school trip and because of the sightseeing attractions, the art, the fashion and of course louvre we’re going there” i said in a happy mood. “That’s amazing, Madlen” he said in his car. “I know right” i said smiling. “Promise me to have fun there” he said and I chuckled. “Of course…it’s just said that it’s not Monaco…I wish I could see you again” i said with a sigh and I heard how he was silent for a moment. “Don’t worry…we’re definitely going to meet again” he said softly and I got into my apartment. “I hope so…you’ll need your jacket back” i said teasingly. “I need to go now but I’ll call you tonight” he said and I cut him off. “I’m going out tonight” i said grimacing. “With who?” he asked softly. “My girls” i said teasingly and he chuckled. “Good…” he said and I could hear his smirk. “Bye” i said softly and he returned it before I hung up greeting Olga by throwing myself next to her on the couch which made her groan. “I am sooo tired” i groaned. “I swear if you sleep in the cinema I’ll kill you” she said and I chuckled. “Never…Challengers should be such a good movie “ i said rubbing my forehead.
I heard Annabelle and Olga whispering about doing a threesome and shook my head eating my popcorn. “You know, Maddy…you should think about dating someone” Annabelle whispered cause she was sitting next to me. “Why?” i asked amused. “Come on…when was the last time you fucked with someone” she said and I shook my head. “Two months ago remember?” i asked her since she knew exactly what happened there. “Oh…oh…” she said as she remembered with me eating my popcorn with a smirk. “Sleep with Chris” she said snd I narrowed my eyes. “Why don’t you sleep with him?” i asked her and she smirked at me. “I did” she said and I gasped turning to her. “When?” i asked her amused. “At the beginning of uni?” she said confused. “You never told me” i said shocked. “I did” she said and Maureen nodded. “She did” and I grimaced. “I could never” i said and she shrugged her shoulders.
We were all sitting at the airport waiting for our flight. I was texting with Charles before switching to TikTok admiring my first edits. I always wanted to see edits of me and now I actually have some. “I hate it” Annabelle said as she handed me an oreo. “Only 15 minutes” i said to her as I ate the oreo. “Wait you’re eating sweets” a girl from my grade said. “Yeah” i said confused. “You are a model and you eat sweets tho” she said a little bitchy snd I rolled my eyes” Yeah…and guess what…I eat a lot of carbs” i said to her confidently before rolling my eyes so she shut up. “Fine with me” Annabelle said and gave me another one.
The hotels weren’t the best but they were fine for the week, when we arrived it rained so we fours ran under one umbrella hoping we would reach the restaurant soon. “Great we’re arriving Paris and it’s raining” Annabelle cursed. “This bitch” Olga said and we ran faster. “There it is!” Maureen shouted and we got under the roof relieved. We walked inside and asked for a table whereupon he lead us to a table right next to the floor-to-ceiling window. “Thank you” i said as he gave us the menu card. “Wine” Olga said smirking. “Are we even allowed to drink alcohol after all it’s a school trip?” Maureen asked and I just shrugged my shoulders. “Yolo” i said and Annabelle next to me slapped her hand into her forehead. “That’s your new mindset huh?” Maureen asked smirking. “Yeah” i answered. “Your Yolo only gets us in trouble remember?” Annabelle asked me and I remembered some stories. I just smiled at her. “I’m all in for the wine” Maureen said and we ordered it. I took my fur jacket off too and placed it beside me revealing the beige long sleeve top which matched perfectly with my black skinny-jeans and the black boots. “Hot” Maureen said and I blowed her a kiss before throwing my curls behind me. I texted Charles and sent him a picture I took in the hotel with the caption “off to Paris”. I chuckled to myself as I sent it and he immediately saw it and replied with kiss-smiley that made me weak in the knees. “So…what is typical french?” she asked me holding the card to me. “Besides snails…uhm…quite everything on this side…it’s saying french food on french” i said pointing at the headline. “dope” she said as she looked through it. We ordered our food and had a lot of fun.
Back in the hotel room we four shared I was talking to Charles over the phone. “How is it?” he asked softly. “Good…today it was raining when we arrived but it was fun tho” i said smiling. “What are you guys doing tomorrow?” he asked while driving. “Tomorrow…we are going through Paris…sightseeing” i said amused. “Sounds amazing” he said softly. “Yeah…” i said shrugging my shoulders. “Uhm…Madlen…I need to go” he said rushed and I could hear how he was talking to a female voice which made my smile fade and I turned serious “Oh…yeah…” i said a little sad “Bye” he said hanging up and I put the phone to the side. “Bye” i said to myself as I stood up and walked outside on the balcony taking in the scent of Paris. It’s not like I was jealous I just…the distance was killing me and hearing his voice was like peace for me. I followed Charles on instagram so I checked on his profile a little admiring the picture. I also checked Alexandra’s and to be honest…her life seemed boring, there was nothing going on so I switched back to Charles and looked at the pictures I even liked some or more a lot. Alexandra and Charles didn’t even post picture together which was strange to me.
Maureen and I were brushing our teeth and gossiping as Olga and Annabelle came back from breakfast. “In one hour we’re going, miss Diaz said” Olga said and we nodded.
