Hey yall!

it's been one of those weeks. a very, very expensive week. my savings will be completely wiped, but I can't open commissions, so it's not looking too hot for me right now. I'm not in any danger of eviction or other major consequences, but I can't front the costs by myself.

Long version and plan of attack under the cut!

I've been medically unemployed for a couple of years now. I've also been recently diagnosed with ADHD - inattentive. I was given an initial trial course of meds for them, which so far aren't working in any helpful ways. NZ has free prescriptions... but it does not have free mental health diagnoses, and especially not for adults. The initial diagnosis appointments cost me $1100, and there are at-cost followup appointments and other medical related costs that are chipping away at it. My medication will need reviewing and possibly switching, which requires more at-cost appointments. This was fine for me to pay! But. Miraculously, I barely self-medicated prior to diagnosis but when I did.... it was with sugary foods. I'm sure you can see where this ends up :'D

The other day I got hit with a dental bill that was not only staggering, but the treatment itself was a gutpunch. I'm not quite at root canal level but two of my teeth are tending towards it, even as the dentist commended my brushing and flossing. The quote is between $3200-4000 (give or take a couple non-priority preventative treatments). I can get government funding assistance up to $1000, and anything beyond that is a loan.

And unrelated I NEED new glasses, because the vision in my left eye from uveitis has deteriorated significantly. this costs less at i think $200-300, but the government does NOT assist with this for... some reason??

The plan of attack:

I'd - hoped, that the meds would let me focus more on owed work. I'd hoped I'd be able to clear the board. That's not the case right now. I'll keep trying, but for now I have to focus on the present.

So, the Ko-fi page is open! There's PWYW files of every deathclaw art I have, so if you'd like to help me out and get convenient lizards instead of browsing my posts, that's the option for you. I will also be making deathclaw designs to auction. I'd like to do customs in future because there's a hungry hungry market out there, waiting for me to do so, but that'd be a commission and I wouldn't complete it. So, premades it will be. My Inprnt store is currently barren; I will see about getting it filled. That'll be linked later. I can't mail out my print stock I use for cons, because I don't have a car or easy access to shipping packaging for larger prints. (And shipping would be immense because, NZ)

No full refunds once I've started. If I haven't yet, I will refund the money to you. If you would like to cancel your commission once I've begun on the artwork, I will keep the 50% you paid initially, unless I am already close to finishing. In that case, you will have to pay the other 50% as well.

I will send progress updates, which is when you can request changes. I will only change things regarding that particular stage! For instance, if I'm on the coloring stage, you can ask for changes with color, but nothing before that. I will not make any changes to the lineart. You can ask for more progress updates if you'd like!

The commission will take around a week or so to finish, more if I have other commissions due before yours. I am also a student and have other things I need to do. Please be patient! I will let you know how many people are in line before you.

Please try to pay the other 50% within a week after I finish the artwork. You cannot commission me again if I do not receive full payment!! I will be flexible with when you send me the money, but know that if it takes far too long (more than 2-3 weeks) then you will no longer be able to commission me as well.

Hello! This is a very important post to me, so please listen up!

I'm opening art requests! I've decided I'd like a chance to practice my art, and specifically drawing by hand, so most of my art will be done by hand before I take a picture of it to post!

Please read the whole of this post before requesting, because if your request violates any of my Will Not Draw points, I will just delete the request and not tell you. It's your responsibility to ensure your request is something I'll fulfill, not mine.

Notes for requests! (under cut!)

I probably won't be able to get to a whole lot of requests in a short amount of time, simply due to the fact that motivation is rare sometimes, and I'm just lucky to have a lot right now

The vast majority of requests will be done by hand! Like I said above, I need the practice, but sometimes I will do digital drawings

I WILL NOT TAKE ANONYMOUS REQUESTS!!! For starters, I need to know who to tag when I've finished a piece. If you're requesting for a sideblog, feel free to ask on anon, but please tag your sideblog so I can still tag you.

Some will be done in crayon lol. I just like crayon, it's fun. If you don't want it done in crayon, please specify that in your request

All skin will be done in marker (or digital, if you're lucky lol). I will post a chart of all my marker colours so you can specify the desired/correct skintone.

I don't know every character! Please specify where the character is from so I know who I'm drawing, and if one character has multiple possible appearances (eg. MLP's Luna & Nightmare Luna) please specify which version you want. If a character has no specified appearance in canon (eg. The Magnus Archives/Protocol, Welcome To Night Vale) I'm picking how they look. If possible, please include official art.

For fandom stuff: I will automatically put any fanart in the appropriate fandom tag. Please let me know if you don't want your requested art in the fandom tag.

Do not gift my art to another user. Just don't. If I ever open commissions, then that'd be fine, but requests will not be giftable.

Things I will not draw:

NSFW/NSFT. Not comfortable with that, plus it's not something I know how to draw anyways. Includes implied NSWF

In conjunction with above: nudity. Not that I'm uncomfortable with nudity, I just have trouble with anatomy

Fursonas. I just don't know how to draw anthro. When I learn, I'll probably make it an option though.

Most physical contact between characters. Just physically can't draw it. So no kissing, I can't do hugging from the side yet (hugging where you can see one character from behind should be fine though). Things like handholding, laying together, etc. are fine, they just might take longer.

More than 2 characters! This is to keep it fair to everyone, as that will take too long.

Characters shopping for white bread. White Bread Guy, I know you're out there, these requests are not for you. I can't draw bread ok. Nothing personal, I just actually can't draw bread.

Most MCYT. I don't really engage with MCYT a lot, so I'll only draw Hermitcraft and Empires people. BUT! I will not do any MCYT ship art, and I won't do the real people, just the characters.

Supernatural (tv show) and Good Omens (tv show). Just at all. Will draw Good Omens (book) stuff though.

Doctor Who's Thoschei (Doctor x Master) and Doctor x River Song ships. They hold a special place in my heart, so I'm not going to draw them for that reason. I will draw the characters interacting platonically (or as enemies, if you'd like, but that doesn't apply to Doctor x River Song) though, so you can still request them

Top Gun / Top Gun: Maverick. These movies also hold a special place in my heart. So I won't do ship art, but non-ship stuff is still ok! Just please include both real names and callsigns so I can make sure I remember who is who.

Gore/violence. Nope. Just nope. No gore, no violence, no graphic injuries. Specifically no broken limbs.

Real people, even if they're your friend. No, I won't even draw you. I will draw your self insert characters, though, because they count as OCs to me and therefore fall under OC rules.

Things I'm iffy about drawing (these will just take me a bit longer):

Animals. I'm not great at animals, so animal requests might take a bit longer.

Fandom ships. For the most part, SFW ship stuff is fine. But if I decide I'm not comfortable with a ship, when you request it I will give you a heads-up. For the most part, this shouldn't come up, but I know it's possible, so this is your official notice.

Doctor Who. I'm a bit protective of Doctor Who for some reason (it's something I hold really close to my heart), so I might be a bit iffy with it, meaning it might take longer for me to draw.

Vehicles. Not the best at vehicles either, so those might take longer.

Blood is fine, but as seen above, gore is a nope. However, drawings depicting blood will be tagged with the CW and TW tags, and will take me longer as well

In regards to the "No Fursonas" rule: I will still do characters with animal traits (ears, tails, wings, etc.), they just might take me longer. Also, wings will not be accurate. Might just take longer to draw if I have to look up the animal you want the features of

Disabilities. I will have to research the disability before I can draw it, so this will take longer, but I absolutely will try my best!

Original Characters (OCs). I will need a detailed description OR a reference sheet to draw your OC. I will not draw an OC without one of those things. If I draw your OC, you are allowed to use the drawing for a reference sheet, but I will ask that you credit me.

Detailed backgrounds. I can do small landscapes/backgrounds, but I struggle with rooms and perspective so those will take longer. Also, I won't put people in them, so I won't be able to do a complex background for your characters, only something simple.

This will be updated whenever I feel the need to, and whenever I decide to close requests (or if I re-open them after!)

Apollo is definitely up there! Best dad award goes to...

But also, Dracula is great too! I love how much character development he's received this season. Starting from being super stubborn and non-approachable about witchcraft to being like "I'll try to bend the rules and make witchcraft acceptable" and "here, daughter of mine, let me help you with your witch studies!" Like, what a great dad T-T also, his egotistical moments can be really funny! That whole interaction he had with Apollo about his "really handsome friend" was hilarious. Other parents are wonderful too, we just don't get to see them a ton. Lyra and Medusa are adorable, and the way Medusa described how she fell for Lyra was so sweet 🥺 

11. Any G3 ships you'd like to see?

The only ship I'm a die hard fan of is clankie, and they're canon 💅 not to brag or anything SHHJSH /lh. So basically, more clankie!! I hope we get to see more of them being together in season 2. Maybe there will be a date episode...👀

But, I know it was stated in the MH bible that Clawdeen is a lesbian. Even if the bible isn't real, would love to potentially see her embark on a gay little storyline! But single icon Clawdeen is also wonderful!

12. Are there any canon relationships (platonic or otherwise) in G3 you enjoy or don't enjoy especially?

Platonic-wise, I love Deuce and Frankie's relationship. With Portrait of a Monster being my favorite episode, their friendship dynamic/interactions are so fun!

For ones I don't enjoy... there's none in particular I hate. I just feel like some are exceptionally rushed. Like Gil and Lagoona. They only had two episodes (one being Gil's introductory episode) before they ended up going to the Monster Ball together. Ooo this one is tough. Probably Heath...💀 I've gotten used to his design, but at first, it was jarring for a lot of people to see HSJHJ (no offense, Heath). I like some of the changes they made. As weird as it sounds, I kinda like the bald-ness XD I feel like it makes sense that his hair is literally fire that can be put out at any time. Not sure how I feel about the blue in his design; blue and orange (which is a large part of his color scheme) are on opposite ends of the color wheel, so it sorta throws me off a little. I'd probably have a fun time integrating more red/orange/black colors into his outfits and design :)

Hello! I'm Shadow! I'm not entirely new to hockeyblr; I originally posted hockey on my main. However I decided to create this blog to separate my hockey talk from my non-hockey talk. Boundaries and other stuff under the cut.

ABOUT ME: I'm 17, queer, autistic (with ADHD in the mix) and I've been a Blues fan all my life. I also support the Washington Capitals, and I've been considering adopting the Kraken as a third team. Outside the NHL, I support the Kansas City Mavericks of the ECHL. As for players, I like Vladimir Tarasenko, TJ Oshie, Sidney Crosby, Cale Makar, Artemi Panarin and to an extent Cole Caufield. I also support generally more disliked players such as Tom Wilson. Brad Marchand has also grown on me a little. Additionally, I do want to share that I do support and *will* post about some incredibly controversial players, those players being Alex Ovechkin and Patrick Kane. The reason I'm sharing this is because there is one thing I want to make very clear: While I support a player on the ice, I don't exactly support a player off the ice. In fact, there may be times I will openly criticize a player's actions, even if they are my favorite. So, if seeing any of the players mentioned above makes you VERY uncomfortable, filter out the players' names (see also: tagging system) or block me for your own comfort. (Additionally, if you're curious on where I stand on Kane's 2015/16 cases, I won't get into that entirely, as it's a pretty messy subject and I don't think I could do it justice, however I'll direct you to read these posts from other users so you can try to guess how I feel). Hi Xavid! You want to know a funny, two-ships-in-the-night, interaction between people we would have never known? You reblogged a post from me a couple of days ago, and I ran The Importance of Being Convergent yesterday! I had such a blast playing that I wanted to say hi, and Tumblr is my social media of choice so I was scrolling to make sure you hadn't abandoned your Tumblr years ago, and saw my post and I just thought that was funny.

ANYWAY, hello! I just wanted to tell you how much I love Convergent. I've run it twice now (in February 2020 at Strategicon in LA, what was supposed to be the first of many, whomp whomp) and then yesterday at my house, and I and my players loved it. It's so well written and fun to play -- all of the characters are so inventive and fun and have amazing connections to each other, and I think the gem mechanic is brilliant as a "thing" for them to be doing.

Also, not for nothing, I appreciate how gender neutral and queer-friendly the game is -- it's hard enough wrangling twelve people to get together, much less twelve people in a specific gender arrangement (and doesn't exclude non-binary folks), and my friends circle is definitely one that appreciates being able to love anyone in a game without issue.

Yesterday they ended up elevating Earth above all others, and then Ceranest chose fka Quan Northwind to replace him as Ruler. By far the best moment in the game was when Ceranest and Cleric Alder had just gotten the entire room together for the Questions and were trying to get everyone to vote on the first one, and Cilac yelled "NO! I CHALLENGE MIM KINDRIL TO A DUEL!" And everyone gasped and Mim, who had literally NO idea she was part of a love triangle, was like "Wait, what? Me? Why?" And Cilac pointed to Essap and said "Because she says you mistreat your employee Burl!" So they rolled dice (Mim won, Cilac very dramatically acted out losing), they voted on the Questions, and as they were breaking back up Mim walked up behind Essap and said "Darrad?" and Essap turned around and said "Burl?" and they ran into each other's arms. Truly couldn't have written a better scene.

I don't know if this is something you would ever tinker with again for a publication or anything -- if you'd like I have a couple of very minor things I slipped into the briefing of my second running that I think made it run a teeny bit smoother, but I don't want to give notes if you don't want them.

Anyway, thanks so much for truly an amazing day of fun. I'll definitely be checking out your other LARPs. I think I'm running Bully Pulpit Games' "The Climb" at Strategicon next month (It's not a huge con, 6 players is about all you can absolutely count on to show up, especially as a newer GM without a reputation) but all of my friends who played yesterday said they'd love to do another one, even the people who didn't have any RPG experience at all, so I think I'm definitely going to get the gang back together again.

Thanks so much for writing! I'm glad y'all had fun! The Importance of Being Convergent is one of my favorite games I've written; it's actually pretty wild how well it's worked over its various runs given how it was written by two folks in a blizzard in 24 hours. It's definitely fun to see how differently different runs can go, and seeing people ham up their ridiculous drama.

I don't know that I'm likely to revise it substantially at this point, but I'd still be curious for your feedback, and if I'm inspired I might add something to the version on Itch.

Anyways, thanks for letting me know, it makes me happy that Convergent is still generating good times and origami butterflies after all these years!

But ngl, I've read some of the (neatly written) non-smut Pennywise x readers to mess with Marika and I thought about writing a Marika x Pennywise fic for her birthday next month (don't worry, without smut 😂). But yeah I laughed at the mental image of waking up and seeing Pennywise smiling next to you non-evilly and then you'd lean over to kiss him softly and be like "good morning honey, slept well?" and then go make him a cup of coffee 😂😂 (A lot of non-smut fics are like that and like??? HE DOESN'T EVEN LOOK LIKE BILL AND LITERALLY EATS PEOPLE AND IS JUST THIS EVIL ENTITY, NOT EVEN "JUST" SOME PSYCHO, WHY WOULD YOU BE ATTRACTED TO HIM)

Haha yeah my friends have visited my blog reading fics since I started, at least one of them has said that she visits this almost daily. We were in the same story writing community once upon a time (around 2015-2016) and I guess they still want to keep up with my writing.

Aww yayyy I get to move to Ketterdam! I'm gonna pack up real quick, though I'll spend Christmas with my mom first but I'll leave after that. And omg Nina would give so much love for them, cuddling them every day and we'd just sit inside their enclosure and let them climb over us and joke and she'd tease me for my feelings for Kaz and aaagh...

And yeah I mean... he was SO MUCH DIFFERENT in 2013-2014 when I was crushing on him?? He had selective mutism (meaning he can't bring himself to talk to anyone else than who he thoroughly trusts, which usually means only family) and after a few months of us being friends, HE STARTED TO TALK TO ME?? (Or whisper things to my ear but yeah) Omg I was walking on clouds when he did that. And then he confessed that he has a crush on me too, and then he mainly whispered stuff that wasn't actually necessary, like "you're so pretty", "I like your shirt" and when I had just gotten a haircut "your hair is so cute"... and once he whispered that he wants to hold my hand and kiss me but is too shy to do it in front of other people and I felt like bursting.

Also we had these really cute park "dates" during school days (he bought me ice cream as a surprise a few times 😭😭), he waited for my train to arrive to the school's station (he always came to the station before my train because he wanted to be there when my train came) and RAN to me to hug me when I came out, he constantly looked for excuses to spend time with me, always wanted to sit opposite of me when we were at the school diner, he wanted to walk with me back to the class when we ate and I always waited for him to finish if I had eaten because once I left without him and purposefully was really slow with eating and that resulted in him basically throwing his plates and utensils like a frisbee to the returnal rack before RUNNING UP to me with the biggest smile I had ever seen, and once when train operators were on a strike for a day, he sent me a message on Facebook at like 10pm which just read "My dad drove me to school, but I missed you at lunch ☹ I hope to see you tomorrow, good night ❤" and we just had these looks and smiles we sent to each other, and after we graduated, I got to know that THE WHOLE SCHOOL had shipped us and my teacher purposefully paired us for assignments a few (underestimated) times more often for it to be a coincidence, and even the cleaner had seen the chemistry and had asked my classmate that "when do those two lovesick fools get together" and god, thinking about those times still makes my heart thump faster, he used to be the sweetest boy I had ever met.

He stopped (vocally) talking to me in February 2014 and afterward when I think about the reason why, it seemed like he started crushing on our class assistant because suddenly she could talk to him on phone while he stopped talking to me. Well, we still talked super frequently on Facebook, though he stopped using hearts and our messages were more friendly than flirty/romantic, like "what did you do today, ooh, sounds fun 😊 I hope you had a great time" etc, until he started ghosting on me but yeah, I looked around my messages with him and around September 2014 he had started to talk more like that, but now it's the whole next level 😅 It feels like he's too lazy to form complete sentences and just expects me to understand his gibberish?? For example, he asked when "my days will end" and meant that when does my workday end and if I can come see him that day. For a moment I thought he's asking that when do I die tbh.

Hahaha yeah 😂 Here's one of my messages btw, he asked about how Ketterdam is:

Ketterdam is a rather rainy and gloomy city where the sun doesn't shine much but it has a lot of interesting history. Some of the streets in the city still look like they were straight from the Middle Ages and it was really nice to wander around last time.

Then he was like (I think, because I translated this from part-gibberish) "oh, so you have already visited Ketterdam? When did you visit and how long did you stay there?" (If I freely translated the actual question without modifying it, it would be "Ketterdam? When? Year, month. Visit, long?")

Yeah I've been there a couple of times. For the first time in June 2016, for the second time I went on a surprise visit in October 2018. I stayed there over the summer in 2016, in 2018 I stayed for a little over a month and got back for Christmas.

And when he asked about how long will it be when I retire and move back to Finland:

Kaz hasn't talked much about our retirement, but he said that since he has been doing that job since he was a teenager and it has profited well for at least a decade, we might be able to retire early. I'm the first person he has really been attached to since childhood so if we stay together, we're maybe retiring in our forties or even earlier if we'll get a lot of successful jobs, since we might have enough money to live normally for the rest of our lives at that point. We might move to Finland then, who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️ Ketterdam isn't the safest place to live in if you don't have the kind of reputation Kaz has and Kaz liked Finland the last time he was here, at least nobody is coming too close 😂

(Finland is known for people who don't like strangers invading their personal space, there was a lot of covid memes when this situation started that if covid ever came to Finland, we don't have to change anything in our daily lives since we already stand at least 5 meters apart instead of the required 2 meters)

Yeah, I mean the only thing he didn't even touch has been coconut so far, everything else goes. So I think he'd eat your cookie and then eat the rest of your unattended cookies if you turned away from them for just a second 😂

Btw, a side note: all my guinea pigs have eaten treats from this certain trademark from the very start of me owning them (I mean from when I got my first piggies in 2003) and tbh I thought to look at the trademark name a few months ago and laughed my head off at 2am.

Okay, when you were describing all of the things that you would want in the relationship, I thought of San due to how clingy and affectionate he is with the other members of ATEEZ. He is a Cancer, which is good because that is one of the star signs that are compatible with yours. I don't believe that the age difference of four years would be that much of an issue, especially since San acts younger than he is most of the time anyway. I feel like most men are intimidated when their female significant other is tall themselves, but he is tall himself and I feel like the fact that you are taller is kind of one of his favorite things about you? One of his other favorite things about you are your curves, he always puts his hand on your thighs during movie night at the boys' dorm or in the back pocket of your jeans when you two are walking into KQ Entertainment together. When you wear dresses when all of you go out to fancy dinners together, he has to hold himself back because he ADORES you when you wear dresses! You said you're am ambivert, I feel like he relates to that in some form of way, like I feel like there are certain situations where he feels a bit more introverted about. Sometimes Hongjoong has to scold him because he texts you so much, but he can't stay mad at you when you pop into the building with their favorite Starbucks drinks and hand-made lunch boxes for them. Just as you always support his creative endeavors, he always returns it for you tenfold and when you are talking about issues you care deeply about, he gives you his full attention and stares at you lovingly. Not just San, but all of the boys, come to you whenever they are dealing with stress and they just want someone to talk to because you are so amazing at giving advice and supporting them. There was a time when a sasaeng approached you, San, Wooyoung and Jongho when you were doing some late night grocery shopping when another ATINY stopped her, causing an argument and nasty words to be exchanged. Let's just say, you shut that sasaeng down REAL quick when you heard some of the things she said. One day you woke up and found a present that San made for you, a mixtape of all of your favorite songs from all your favorite genres of music, along with a little keychain that had tokens of all of the states you had visited. He wholeheartedly loves you and he makes every effort to support all of your dreams. When he has days off from work, the two of you make a blanket fort in your living room and watch old episodes of Forensic Files and Law & Order: SVU, whilst surrounded by fluffy blankets and a couple of his favorite plushies. Another tall boy for you, I got you! You both are Virgos, but I looked it up worried that two Virgos would clash, and it said that they would be very intuitive with each other and would understand each other! The age gap is quite large, I don't know how okay you are with that? I know everyone has different preferences. He approached you first when he saw you at the mom & pop coffee shop/cafe around the corner from your apartment, and he thought you were the most beautiful person he had ever seen. Another man who I don't think would be bothered by your curves (men can be shallow dicks), I think that is his favorite thing (same as San) about you. Not even in a sexual way, I feel like his hands would always end up on your butt without him even noticing. Most of the time, one of the other boys will point it out when all of you are hanging out together, and he will be proud that he has a significant other like you, but he almost might become a shy mess about it I feel like. I feel like he can get jealous, just because you are closest to Jungkook in the group and you often pull pranks on the other members together. There is never a shortage of laughs when all of you are together, pure crackhead energy if I've ever seen it, just non stop jokes and banter between all of you. You were able to get time off from work and were actually able to join them (their managers were surprisingly chill about you tagging along? CONFUSION?) on their tour around Europe and you had so many memories. You actually brought along a Polaroid camera that you found in a little store one day when the two of you were shopping, and you ended up having to buy an extra suitcase on the trip because you took LITERAL hundreds of pictures of all of your adventures and the tour shenanigans. He has childish tendencies, I feel like he would love to play Roblox with you? I feel like he would take a very mathematical approach to building things, that's just the vibe I get from him. He often stares at you when you're doing your makeup in the morning, he finds it fascinating and he even asked you to do his makeup for some of his shows. His makeup artists weren't angry, luckily, all of their staffs absolutely adore you two together. He is all up for adventures, I feel like he would chicken out at the idea of skydiving, though lol. You keep stealing his sweaters, which he low-key highkey is SO happy about because he loves the way that you look in them. The size difference is only three or four inches (I've seen people say he's 6 feet, but then others say he's 6 foot 2, WHICH IS IT?!), so it's pretty easy to sneak kisses from him whenever you want them when you're together. If he sees you struggling to stay awake whilst studying, he'll softly close your book and drag you over to your bed for a couple hours so you can take a quick nap to regain the energy. I don't really know his temperament that well, he has to be rather even-tempered to deal with those hooligans he calls the rest of BTS, so I feel like you wouldn't have that many fights. You both are always striving to help each other to be the best versions of each other you can be. You joined the boys on vacation at a lake house and one night you were having dinner and he blushed after you said something cheeky to him, causing you to say to him, "You look like a cute tomato when you blush, my cutie pie." in front of the other members. Needless to say, he turned even more red and the boys teased him mercilessly for the rest of the night. Don't know how the cooking would go (this boy is a DISASTER in the kitchen), but you would have fun learning new dishes. He would brag about getting a dish right, and you quickly praise him but also say, " and that's why you a big ass head.", causing him to die laughing. He is the very definition of a hard worker, and I feel like he would love being praised and doing the same for his significant other, so I'm glad that you said that you liked the words of affirmation love language, because GET READY. He's definitely been buffing up (I SCREAM WHENEVER I SEE PICTURES OF HIM NOWADAYS), so

his hugs would always be the best things, so warm and comforting. Don't know how you feel about children? We've all seen that VLive where this idiot literally bought baby shoes because he thought they were cute, so I think he would definitely want children down the road in your relationship if you were both comfortable with it. Beyond obscure 90s villains or heroes, which other Marvel character you'd consider RPing as?

Ooooh, I absolutely love this question! That’s why it took me a little while to answer, I wanted to think of everybody I could :)

Madelyne Pryor - Maddy originates in the 80s but was also present in the 90s and has been around in current stuff as well. She’s one of my oldest favorites too; I’ve been a fan of her since middle school because I just felt so incredibly bad for her. But she’s more than an object of pity, she’s a strong and complex character in her own right who has consistently evolved through the years (though not for the better) She would be a lot of work to write, I think, because she is so complex, and I’d have to work hard at balancing her tragedy with her villainy. That’s always a hard note to hit, and I’m very biased towards her so I’d have to watch myself a lot. Another thing I would need to do is read her pre-Inferno stuff, from before she became retconned as Jean’s clone and transformed into the Goblyn Queen. I’ve read Inferno, I’ve read most of her 90s and present stories, but the only stuff of her good guy days that I’ve read are Fall of the Mutants and the Alpha Flight special where she becomes Anodyne. And like, she spent SIX YEARS with the X-Men, so that’s a lot of stories, and I feel like knowing those stories, knowing who she was, is important to truly forming a whole picture of who she is now. Maximus “the Mad” Boltagon - The major villain of the Inhumans, and just my type! He’s cowardly, egotistical, hilarious, and frequently pretty creepy. That’s exactly my type. But he’s more sympathetic than Fabian, and more competent than Shinobi, so that will take a bit of extra work, as will balancing a sensitive non-ableist portrayal of mental illness with the fact that he *is* both evil and laughable ( I’m in luck here, because canonically he’s not evil and comedic because he’s crazy; he was actually already a dick before he went insane) The fact he never shows sexual/romantic attraction to anyone save Medusa (and that might be just because he conflates having her with having the throne) also saves me from the issue of shipping, as I’m not much of a shipper or smutter at all and that gives me difficulty with characters who are canonically very sexual (such as Shinobi) I am bad at writing interpersonal dynamics in general, a big weakness in RP, so I would likely also have a very difficult time writing his dynamics with other Inhumans RPers. Plus I would need to read so many more of his issues! But he’s still a very appealing character to me, I take a lot of delight in reading his stuff, and I believe I could write him okay (if not well) if I read enough of his issues and that I would have fun with it!Lifeguard aka Heather Cameron - She debuted and joined the X-Men in the early 2000s during Claremont’s X-treme X-Men run, but fell into total obscurity when it was canceled. Claremont clearly had big plans for her, but no other writer was ever interested in picking her up. I like her look, and since she was still with the X-Men when last heard of, I would dig bring her back and adding on to her. Plus, playing a good guy would let me interact with heroes easier! But I also don’t really have a solid idea at all of who I’d want her to be...Generation-X era Monet St. Croix aka “M” - I love snobs, I love ice queens, I love alpha bitches. Generation X Monet is my jam. I haven’t really followed where she’s been since, but I’m not a huge fan of the developments I’m aware of. Like, her being a massive snob isn’t that fun at all if it turns out it’s a front she just puts on to cover being suicidally depressed? That is NOT my jam. I want original “Miss Perfect” Monet who just knows she’s better than you. The main obstacle would be that she’s not comedic egocentrism like Fabian and Maximus, she has to be written with an elegant razor wit like Emma Frost, and I’m really bad at that. Gaea - Look, I’m crazy about mother goddess figures (a trait I gave to my version of Fabian >.>) and I’ve read roughly half of her appearances (working to read them all). I also feel she has a more human-like mindset than other Elder Gods, and that would make her easier for me to write than, say, her siblings Cthon and Set. She’s someone you could have a conversation with. But, why would she have a conversation? Why would a being of such power just turn up to talk with people? She doesn’t in the comics. Finding reasons for interactions would be hard. Then again, she’s an Elder God, so she can probably just do what she wants, amirite? On the one hand, I may already have enough mother-figure muse going on with Haven, but on the other hand Gaea is a lot more ruthless and uncaring in her own way, being a personification of nature, evolution, etc. She’s not really interested in human beings or their problems as individuals like Haven is, she’s interested in the progression of life as a whole. There are also lots of randos I sometimes think about making a multi-muse blog for or something, just whoever I’ve gotten recently obsessed with. For instance, I feel like Eques would be a good bet in terms of attracting partners? I haven’t been able to read his issue yet but I really want to because HE’S A FLYING CENTAUR and I feel like interactions would come a lot easier with him---he’s not a hero or villain, he’s just a civilian who falls on the “pretty good” side of things, and he’s an attractive male. I think people would totally gravitate towards that, and there’s lots of room to do stuff with his personality since he’s a one-issue wonder. I’d probably be a nerd and base a lot of him on actual horse behavior and traits ascribed to the Sagittarius (centaur) zodiac sign. But I think a lot of people would also want to ship with him too, and I’m just...not into that. And again, I still need to read his actual appearance and see if I like him as much as I think I will. I’ve sometimes contemplated a 616 Magneto, because I feel I know a good deal about his characterization (at least enough that I have Opinions on it) but ultimately I don’t feel I’ve read enough of his stuff even so, and...I don’t want to read any more? I just really don’t want to focus on Holocaust-related things and that’s KIND OF A MAJOR THING for writing him. Plus I’m really not that interested in his dynamic with Charles *or* with his children/family, which are like...a huge deal in Magneto RP interactions. I think he’s a character I prefer interacting with than interacting as. Plus I think my portrayal would be unpopular/I’d probably get hate over it because I remember all the really rotten he did in the comics (including stuff that wasn’t to save mutants) and Tumblr fandom takes a really lionized view of him.There’s also a lot of villains I like---such as Donald Pierce or Graydon Creed---but I feel like they’d have limited interactions and get very boring for me, especially since most people are probably just gonna want me to torture their muses with them or something.
