i will not be posting asks, so I'm running on an honor system. don't send multiple authors the same screenshot please, I don't want to have to stop the honor system :')

i'll have your request done within two weeks for every 1k (so 1k = 2 weeks, 2k = 4 weeks, etc) and will sent updates weekly and whenever you request

New Year, New Me!

Or rather, more coherent me. I'm entering this year with a PLAN, and that plan... involves me writing more fanfic, not going to lie, but ALSO involves me writing some original stuff as well!

I'm also realizing I didn't do last month's end of the month roundup, so let me quickly go over that. First, there were four chapters of Vista of the Stars, with Vista finally taking off into space. Secondly there were eight little oneshots for that Worm/Bofuri crossover, which may be expanded on, plus another oneshot where a certain butterfly flaps their wings entitled Vogue. Finally, I added another chapter to An Injection of Chaos, in which Charlotte builds a horse.

Yes, you read that right, builds a horse.

Hmmmm... while I'm here, I might as well mention what I've done this month. Another chapter of the Conference Call fic, wherein the girls talk about their childhoods and being a princess, plus another Vista of the Stars chapter for all of you that like Star Wars and upgrades. Oh, and I kicked off a new fic: In Defiance Of Oblivion, starring Mass Effect's Commander Shepard as an unwilling source of chaos while she sets out on her quest to save the galaxy!

And in non-fanfic news, I'm halfway through one project, partway through another, and starting on a third. Those projects, once they're ready to launch, will be hitting Kickstarter--and I do intend to get at least one of them ready to launch this year.

The 2012 London Olympics opening ceremony was a spectacle to remember. After seeing the Queen appear as perhaps the ultimate Bond girl, who could ever doubt her sense of humour?

Director Danny Boyle later revealed they had wanted to find a different way to introduce the monarch and national anthem and came up with the idea of the Bond sketch. They had fully expected to cast an actress to play the part of the Queen and wrote to the Palace, as protocol dictates, to ask for permission. To their surprise, Danny Boyle explained, “They came back and said “We’re delighted for you to do it, and Her Majesty would like to be in it herself,” and the surreal thing, “she would like to play herself”.”

When it came to filming, it was the Queen who suggested she should say something and who came up with the lines. “We started shooting and she turned round and she said her lines beautifully.”
