Hello ridiaaaa!! ♥︎ Today I noticed something my friend does alot and I thought it would be interesting if saru did the same.

So imagine Misaki is bout to head home but Saru grabs onto him before he leaves, he looks back confused, waiting for Saruhiko to say something, but he doesn't say anything. He just wants Misaki to stay for a while longer.

Actually I can totally see Fushimi being this way, especially in middle school. He’s not the type to vocalize what he wants and he especially wouldn’t admit that he wants Misaki to stay a little longer, but at the same time he absolutely does. Like imagine this as one of the rare times they’re hanging out at Fushimi’s place, Kisa isn’t around as usual and it’s not time for Niki to show up yet so Fushimi can relax a little. They’re just hanging out and playing video games and chatting and it’s getting pretty late, Yata promised to be home by dinner time. At some point he finally checks his watch and is like oh hey I gotta go Saruhiko, getting ready to pack up his stuff. 

That’s when he feels a tug on his shirttail, Yata pauses and looks back and there’s Fushimi just silently holding onto his shirt. Yata’s like ‘Saruhiko?’ and Fushimi doesn’t answer, not even really looking at Yata. His hand is pretty firm on Yata’s shirt too and poor Yata just stands there for a moment trying to decide what to do, if this was one of his siblings he’d wave them off but it’s Saruhiko. Yata ends up just standing there for a bit, waiting to see if Fushimi’s going to say anything, and then finally he just plops back down and says he’ll tell his mom they lost track of the time. Fushimi shrugs like whatever and Yata gives him this slight smile as he sees Fushimi finally let go of his shirt, like ‘if you didn’t want me to go you could have just said so, this guy really can’t say anything honestly.’

It’s important to go through the vetted fundraisers list regularly & see what families have little to no funds. This could be for any number of reasons, like language barriers or maybe not being familiar w Tumblr. Either way we shouldn’t expect families to know how to market themselves in order to platform. This shouldn’t rely on networking & connections. As many fundraisers as possible should get their turn in being promoted and circulated. Appealing to you first should not be a prerequisite

Are you a student who is unable to donate to Palestine, but still want ways to show your support?

Me too! Unfortunately, searching up ways for students who can't drive, spend money, or drop school for a week to show solidarity for Palestine just comes up with "centrist" (if not blatantly pro-israel) articles for teachers telling them how to stay neutral during discussions with students. So! Here are some ways that I've thought of to bring pro palestine sentiment into your school and community! You are more than encouraged to add on any ideas of your own!

Wear shirts, pins, or anything outwardly pro palestine. If you can't find something, make it.

Email your representatives. Email Congress. Email the White House, or whatever your country's equivalent would be. Let the people in charge know you want a ceasefire

Talk to your local library about holding an educational night about the genocide, and/or about Palestinian culture.

Talk to your peers. Find people who share your views. Create a fuss together.

Talk to your teachers about it. Having an authority figure on your side could make things so much easier for you.

Make stickers, posters, pamphlets, etc to put up around your school, town/city, anywhere you can.

Educate yourself on anti-palestine talking points and how to refute them in a calm and logical manner. (Palestinian Toolkit is a great website for that)

Speak up! It's fucking scary, but if you can, don't let people's bigotry go unchecked. (You can use knowledge from the last point to make it easier to talk)

But also, know when to give up. It sucks, but not everyone is worth wasting your time debating. Some people won't change their mind no matter what.

Also, some people may not even regard everything listed above as flaws.

Having negative traits allows incredible flexibility within your characters, what makes them intriguing, what makes them easy to relate to. If you want to write people, then write people. But they can’t be good and clean all the time.

I'm absolutely losing my mind seeing "We need to not treat men and masculinity as inherently evil and worthy of hatred, and not fall back into biological and gender essentialism because that hurts everyone, including trans women" being misinterpreted as "Women need to stop oppressing men", "I think trans women are actually men" or "You specifically who have trauma around men need to get over it because men are the real victims". It's so willfully disingenuous. It makes me sick how willing people are to read in bad faith, especially how willing other trans women are to suddenly start harassing and dogpiling another trans woman.

I am a trans woman too, I understand what it's like to feel unsafe, but it helps no one this cynical attitude that crops up every time someone suggests being kind to men in our lives. "You could save a man you know from falling down the alt-right pipeline" is not the same as "It's your fault that men murder you". "There are people who could be on our side if we don't meet them with immediate hostility" is not the same as "You need to shut up and stop criticizing power structures for the sake of your oppressors' feelings" (I promise there are a lot of people who can be taught about their complicity in oppression without immediately shutting down but you need to work with them). This kind of attitude isn't somehow more informed or correct. It's just lashing out to avoid considering one's own agency.

Making a better, safer world for ourselves requires all kinds of work, but it's always work. It's hard to try to reach out to people who could very realistically harm us, it's work that not all of us can afford to or are able to do and that's fine because we're all just trying to survive. But some of you would rather condescend, tear each other down, and make more enemies before even considering it a possibility.

I have always had the headcanon that Andy is highly intelligent but dumbs himself down to not get too much responsibility. After the series ends Andy is just hanging out with the red clan and helps them deal with punks that want revenge on them one day. The leader is not a strain but has been evading the normal police force that the case was forced onto Sceptor 4 under the guise of 'possible strain with intelligence ability'. So Andy decides this is a chance to be done with this case. The punk and his band of misfits are a little too smart for homura to deal with and Andy comes up with all sort of counter actions that make the reds question Andy's intelligence. In the end Munakata thanks Andy for his hard work and Andy fearful of being handed more responsibility quickly says that Kusunagi made all of the plans. Munakata goes along with it but knows Kusanagi didn't make those strategies.

I can absolutely see Doumyouji as the kid who learned they don’t ask you to do the dishes anymore if you keep breaking them XD Imagine this is one of the reasons he’s so awed by Munakata, because he’s aware that Munakata saw through him from the start and that’s why Munakata has no trouble putting him in a squad leader position and later the special forces. Doumyouji keeps up the act anyway though, because drawing his reports is easier than writing them and when Fushimi demands he come and fix them Doumyouji can play dumb and get Hidaka to fix them instead. He actually really enjoys this, Doumyouji mostly likes having fun and fighting and as long as he plays the airhead he doesn’t have to be bogged down by responsibility and paperwork.

He’s also on good terms with Homra post-ROK and occasionally stops by the bar to chat. They all decide to go out for ramen and that’s when Homra gets attacked by this group of punks out for revenge. Doumyouji recognizes the leader right away, this is a high-level possible Strain situation that S4 has been assigned and hasn’t had the resources to handle at the moment. Maybe it was intended to go straight to Fushimi due to how intelligent the gang leader is and Fushimi’s been too busy to devote any time to a case he believes doesn’t actually involve a Strain. Doumyouji agrees with that assessment and figures in that case wouldn’t it be easiest to assist Homra in taking these guys down now and then S4 will only have to deal with the clean up. 

The Homra guys are skeptical when Doumyouji says he has a plan but then just imagine him coming up with all these great counter-measures, being super intuitive and good at assessing the situation. In the end they take the bad guys down and the Homra guys are really impressed by how smart Doumyouji was. Doumyouji’s enjoying the praise until Munakata shows up in the aftermath all intrigued by how skillfully this was handled, truly someone with strong insight must have been in charge as this is normally not Homra’s strong suit. Doumyouji immediately has a quiet freak out as he insists it was Kusanagi, totally Kusanagi, he gave some suggestions but didn’t do anything important really. Munakata smiles and says is that so, Doumyouji quietly whimpers that can we at least not let Fushimi-san know about this.

noticed a dip in posts about palestine on my dash, so i think it deserves to be said again: palestine is not a trend. caring about genocide is not a trend. there are still reports about humanitarian aid trucks intentionally blocked off from gaza, meaning so many fucking gazans, a big portion of them children, are just bleeding out with no help. it just came out recently that israelis disguised as women and medics infiltrated a west bank hospital, at which point they killed 3 palestinians (whom they claim were militants. right). these people are living day to day without even the most basic utilities. anyone who claims to have “activism fatigue” needs to question why they’re so severely lacking in the most basic forms of compassion. you don’t get to just grow bored of talking about palestine. please never stop calling attention to the genocide happening full force in front of us.
