ep14 where she ditches her appointment with SRQ to storm the Pei house for Pei Wenxuan and she is pissed

and when PWX Uncle tries to stop her she FREAKING SLAPS HIM GHDFJKFGHJKDFHKJ

everyone is terrified of her (including the grandfather), and then she goes off on the Pei house, like:

"how fucking dare you deceive my husband to get him to come home"

"how fucking dare you lay a hand on my husband" (who is Royalty now)

no seriously, who the fuck did this, I will break their hand (really, I will)

she calls them pack of ungrateful dumbasses and snivelling shijia yes-men

reminds them they're only here because of Pei Wenxuan's dad

declares Pei Wenxuan with his intellect and ability better than all of the Pei house and deserves better (then tells them that they have all tried to put obstacles in his way at every turn SHE KNOWS IT)

"are you trying to threaten me by tattling this to my dad (the emperor) idgaf-- who started this again let's break their hand"

Says that they can go ahead banish Pei Wenxuan from the Pei house and she will take him, and they will start another house omfg

Tells Pei Wenxuan's mother that she is failing her child, so she should get out of his way because even if he tolerates it, she cannot tolerate her behaviour

Says Pei Wenxuan has a new family with her and that he has someone who cares for him and loves him (WHAT, LI RONG WHAT??)

i think my favorite thing about that fic is hunter rolling a nat 20 in perception of raine and going "they're a really calm, seasoned manipulator who can play people to their own ends. they could be hiding literally any political agenda or wild secrets. also they've made excuses to cut short a bunch of meetings where luz happened to be having An Episode (TM) for some reason" and then immediately rolling a nat 1 on insight like "we cannot possibly guess at their intentions. this might be the biggest threat to luz right now,"

Umm, are y'all ok???

I just want to say that it feels a bit unfair (read: weird as fuck) that people are uncomfortable or feel that Andy only deserves a 'platonic bond'. And this isn't just me assuming but based on me scrolling through Tumblr—specifically the Alien: Romulus tag—and seeing plenty of Tyler, Rain, Bjorn, hell, even damn Xenomorph yandere/romance/smut stories but zilch for Andy.

I even received an ask telling me that I shouldn't continue writing Andy as a love interest but instead to make it a 'platonic' familia one. And all I can say to that person: please go to hell. It's wild that the audacity was even implied.

As far as I know, I'm the only one writing Alien: Romulus content that showcases Andy in a romantic light, and I plan to continue doing so. He deserves to be seen as a versatile android—whether that be a yandere one who loves the MC or a sweet soulmate that's always there—just like the other androids in the Alien franchise receive. *cough* Walter *cough*.

I don't know, sorry for going off on a tangent, but this is something I just needed to get off my chest. I'm practically filled with butterflies at the opportunity to create such a love story for a character that swept so many, like myself, off their feet. Andy is perfect and he will continue to receive stories from me until a bunch of people can get it into their thick skulls that he deserves to be thirsted after just like the rest of the cast…

At the end of the day, my version of Andy is staying romantic, yandere, or whatever I see fit and if you don't like that, please do your part and create more stories centering him in the vision you'd like to read/see...

Fanfiction is lovely and there are so so many great Cass fanfics out there, ones that truly love and cherish her character, but it bums me out how many fics don't treat her as a real person. When her one trait is that she's perfect or the little sister or the therapist, it shows a lack of understanding of Cass, but more importantly perpetuates harmful stereotypes about Asian women. Everyone is allowed to write what they want to write, but as a Cass fan (and an Asian girl), seeing these tropes (that were not really present in canon) imposed onto fanworks that people believe are better than comics genuinely saddens me.

Our own growth, the desire to process and progress is natural, so our nature attracts what our mind and soul needs to do so. Finding pictures, comparisons and related feelings to carry on in life. That’s the magic in a nutshell, isn’t it 😌

So, Rex came out of the beautiful art and inspiration CHAOS (I love chaos, it’s creativity soil) started by @ghostymarni, @lonewolflupe and @jetii and I saw it, felt it and I surrendered blissfully and hands up the incoming ORM ✨ (do you know what orm is? It’s basically a link to the ultimate creativity force from Walter Moers’ Zamonia universe, especially ‚The City of Dreaming Books‘) and I didn’t had any choice I just had to do this. golden. glance. in a slightly blushing face full of contradictory emotions and drowned in my own art the second time yesterday 😱

My little drawing Padawan self already owling (flying, fluting, screeching, being artist crazy inspiration orm drunken 100% getting on my husband's and my cats' nerves) 🦉 in the woods because of him (<-) ignoring my yesterday's initial drawing plans with his whole intimidating attitude!

And this was so much more intense, because I accidentally listened to this song and now I set it on continuous loop to savor and drown in the energy surrounding me in these days ✨ For me and my current cinematic mood quite fitting for both artworks.
