So Lucifer Morningstar, the fourth of the fallen, (retired) ruler of hell, the Devil himself, is a character in DC comics, appearing in the Sandman comics, his own solo run and various other comics
He is absurdly powerful
The thing is, Lucifer still has access to his Divine power, unlike other fallen angels, and is actually more powerful than other angels
What does this mean?
Lucifer was the guy that shaped the matter to create the stars, an ability he still has
Enter one Danny Fenton
“Omg(oh my ghost) I’m a HUGE FAN of your work”
Just Danny fangirling over the literal Devil because of stars and space

'he befriended lily to use her for x horrible thing' he was a child. he wanted a friend.
'he should've never been mean to james and sirius on the train' he was a child. defending his beliefs just as those two did
'he should have never enjoyed dark arts' he was a child. a curious child.
'he was friends and sided with the slytherins' he was a child. a lonely poor halfblood child in a house filled with snobs with everything he couldnt even wish for. obviously he was easily influenced/ overpowered/possibly groomed?
'how dare he obsessively stalk lily after swm? (he was begging for forgiveness) how could he join the death eaters?(it was his only choice) how could he hold a grudge against the marauders after that many years? ( the only escape he had from his home and they made it hell for him)'
he was a child he was a child he was a child. a stupid hopeful child who was always at the edge of escaping yet always being yanked back into those pits of hell again.
he was a child who could never fully be childlike because his life was literally from the pot to the kettle to the fucking fire.
just say you like victims nice and unresentful and get over with it.

Can we talk about these two shots? And how completely dwarfed Joe looks in them, how the hospital and the rapidly accumulating medical bills it represents are all but looming over him?
Can we also talk about the phenomenal way Poom acts with his eyes? Every time the camera pulls in on his face he looks so desperate. You can see his stomach drop when the doctor tells him about his mom's diagnosis. You can feel him panicking. You can hear him ask himself where and how the hell he's going to get the money to pay for his mom's care.
This moment? When he has to stop for a second outside his mom's room to pull himself together and put on a happy face for her so she won't worry?
Absolutely broke my fucking heart. The entire episode broke my heart. It hit entirely too close to home and got way too real in way too personal a way for me and I'd wager for anyone that has also been in a similar financial situation.
This is a man who can feel himself drowning, who's gasping for air and clinging to anything that looks REMOTELY like a life preserver because he has no other choice.
Joe will do what he has to do even if it means being Tong's stand in again and even if it means accepting Ming's offer. And you know what, I'm not going to blame him for accepting. I hope he can squeeze every single baht out of Ming that he can because lord KNOWS this man deserves to get something in exchange for all his suffering.

Joyce staying at the cabin with Hopper and El to keep them safe bc no one in Hawkins knows they’re alive. Will, Jonathan and Argyle staying at the Wheeler's bc they have more room and presumably aren't in danger like the others.
OH WAIT there's a witch hunt for the Hellfire club, which means all the boys are in danger from the townspeople. OH WAIT the boy who came back to life has returned from the West, the same boy whose assumed death jumpstarted this small town's curse in the first place! The same boy who apparently everyone and their fathers knew was gay...
THE END IS NEAR! THE GAYS ARE RESPONSIBLE!
+ Time jump early somewhere in between.
Now picture how that would look in an 8 episode story format, leading up to a final battle lasting about 2+ hrs, and that's loosely how s5 is gonna go down.

I think Wolffe doesn't swear.
Like, he did, previously, I think he swore like a sailor during Kamino in the most creative ways possible, called you stupid in six different ways on the same sentence.
And then war happened and suddenly he stops swearing and uses Ice-Cream swears and grandma swears and when they ask him "Wolffe what the fuck what happened?" he just replies "You swear in front of General Plo" and even after he still doesn't swear and every time he hears you swearing he just smacks you

Ulysses obsession with the Courier is a special type of sad to me cause the Courier’s part was so important but so unwitting. They had no idea what was in the package they delivered and neither did he. Neither had an idea of what it could’ve done and the Courier was only caring out their job (mind you the Courier could be killed via notes in the express contract if they don’t). To them it was just another regular delivery to the divide and one that they likely thought would help, just like all the ones before.
It’s so tragic for Ulysses to hold so much ire to the Courier when it really was the case of it could’ve been anyone. Anyone could have delivered that package but they did and so he focused the blame on them and it destroys what he is trying to instill in the courier on a fundamental level.
