Bruce Wayne had a child that was somehow kidnapped right out of the hospital just hours after being born. He of them ever stopped looking despite how cold the trail had grown.

Years later there is some rouge attack and a civilian child was injured and taken to the hospital. Bruce does a DNA test on the blood found at the scene and concludes that the child is actually his long lost kid.

Dani was planning to sneak out of the hospital the moment the doctors stopped looking at her. Then Bruce Wayne of all people comes in and claims that she is his long lost child. She knows that this is very impossible because she is a clone, but Bruce won't listen to her and she really doesn't want to explain the clone thing to a "normal" stranger.

This does brings up a lot of questions about how Danny ended up living with the Fentons though.

The Literal Phantom of the Opera (DpxDc prompt)

When Cassandra Cain first began taking ballet, her fellow dancers quickly warned her about the ghost haunting the theater.

"He likes to watch us. I see him looking down at the stage from the catwalk all the time."

"It looks like he stole one of the Phantom of the Opera masks last time a tour came through, but its been covered in stars!"

"I heard him when I was acting in Wicked. I was alone in the green room doing some last minute practice and I swear he was humming along while I was singing!"

"It was the phantom who stole my makeup from my dressing room I just know it!"

"Haley from front of house didn't believe he existed until they came backstage to grab supplies for seat repairs. I don't know what they saw, but now they refuse to go backstage."

"That ghost is evil. It pushed me down the stairs to the office and I tore my suit on the railing. Do you know how hard it is to find an all white suit on short notice? I'm lucky it didn't break my ankle!"

"We used to have balconies before the renovations. Sometimes it sounds like someone is moving inside the walls where they used to be."

"I'm not sure that the ghost is fully aware we're performers. A few years ago when Heathers was here, the actress for McNamara said that it felt like someone was hugging her after Lifeboat."

"I've seen him without the mask. His face looks like it was just... shredded. I only saw it once, but I'll never forget that face."

"I heard that he likes to mess with the equipment in the control booth."

Cass isn't sure that the ghost is real, but she is sure that the other dancers think he's real. They often gossip about the theater ghost in hushed whispers, knocking on wood at the very mention of him. Her teachers prefer not to talk about the ghost at all, but they don't deny its existence.

It's not until she is practicing alone on stage and feels eyes on her that she thinks there might be something to the ghost rumors.

Not to be that bitch, but if you're out here still saying Colin never apologized for the whole "I would never court Penelope Featherington" i think you need to maybe actually rewatch episode 1.

He very much does, as soon as he can once hes aware he hurt her. He addresses literally everything Penelope said hurt her about it. He says what he said was cruel and hurtful, he says that hes not embarrassed by her, he tells her hes changed and regrets doing something that hurt her. Its the most genuine apology anyone in this show has given.

How any of you have walked away from that seeing it as a fake apology makes me genuinely question what you think an apology is. Is he meant to fall on his knees crying and begging her to move on? Thats not an apology. Is he supposed to go "I'm sorry I fucked up, you're actually soso cool and so much better than me and everyone else" because thats love bombing.

Colin did it right, he came to her privately, apologized, addressed how he hurt her, reassured her he's not embarrassed of her and views her as his best friend, and said that he'd changed. Thats the correct way to apologize, thats how adults communicate. Everything that happened after that was in response to Penelopes frustration at her inability to be someone viewed as desirable in their society, and Colins want to prove how much he cares about her.

If we want to talk about non-apologies in this show, Colin is far from the first character in that line.

Rewatching Great Expotations and wow it really hits you how much of a kind, empathetic and overall patient person Varian was, which is made all the sadder with the events of Queen for a Day and the fact that... yes Varian redeemed himself but he was also never the same afterwards. Like, pre-Blizzard Varian and post-Blizzard Varian almost feel like completely different characters in some ways.

Like, in Great Expotations you have Varian thinking he can impress Cass by being clever and capable, but in the end, I think more than anything she was impressed by his kindness. "You're smart, you're compassionate, you're...unique." (Almost like those two things are what make him unique, because they are usually mutually exclusive in Cassandra's mind? Dr. St. Croix is supposed to be a genius and yet he is a complete asshole because of it, and stands in contrast to Varian, who while arrogant sometimes is never condescending). Cass thought this was some annoying but clever kid they met once she has to entertain the whims of and finds out he's caring enough to help out and understanding enough to know where she's coming from, even if it hurt him. Geniuses are a dime a dozen but people like that Cass rarely meets.

And then Queen for a Day happens and Varian starts doing things that are underhanded and exploitative and cruel and... maybe she whatever she saw before was never there. Maybe she's also a terrible judge of character.

Got news today that there's a STRONG chance I get the apartment I've been hunting if I can just get the deposit together until November 1st. And it's not impossible to do so. Y'know, in all the hype for Xenoblade X DE, one thing I've been thinking about is how amazing this must feel for the people at monolith, specifically the ones who worked on the original game.

The Wii U version was fantastic but was heavily trimmed down from what was initailly planned. The thing about that is a lot of the new stuff we saw in that trailer is cut content that was either shown in the original game but not delved into or stuff we know about because of the artbook. The new skell Hresvelg, the Ghosts, the new floating area, Neilnail and her twin skells, Elma's partner and the original ares, all of it.

I can't imagine how it must feel for the people at monolithsoft who were there working on the original game, knowing how much it had to be trimmed down, now getting the chance to not only revisit the game and add back in that cut content bringing the game far closer to the original vision, but also having a decade worth of player feedback to look at to, hopefully at least, make the game even better than it's original vision.

I imagine some stuff like the improved font and UI and the built in Overdrive guide were at least partially out of necessity to make the game work better from a design standpoint on Switch, but you cannot tell me they aren't at least aware of common fan criticisms when they specifically chose to draw attention to something as otherwise mundane as a Flight Module Skell jumping. Like come on they know.
