She's mad that we replaced her shitty dying pothos clippings with a properly potted/established pothos...

Next I wanna replace her tiny digpit hode with a much bigger digpit hide!! I want a removable dig pit for cleaning purposes, but I'd like it to take up a lot nore of the tanks realestate. and witb slopped sides so that she can easily wander up into. I may have to...make it myself.

went out and got some temporary staff now that the tank is cycled..! 10 shrimp and 5 endlers

The shrimp will probably stay, but the endlers will be rehomed once the tank's permanent residents arrive :] (either in a different 15 gallon if it's ready by then, or to our neighbours who have a few large, planted, waterfilled clay pots that each house a thriving population of these lil' guys.)

Current condition:

Despite the water looking clean and clear, this tank is incompatiable with vertebrate life. Ammonia and nitrites are through the roof. This is why we don't purchase fish until after the nitrate cycle has been established.

Somehow, though, the pest snails have begun to make their presence known in my tank--

This gorgeous creature at my local fish and reptile store makes me wish I had a spare room I could convert, oh my godddd.

I have never seen a more beautiful reptile.

I got to take Domino out for the first time today! She came out of her hide for me, so I was able to scoop her up♡ She's very sweet!
