said it before, but i'm still mesmerized by the idea of a character (in this case being leon) surviving a direct shot to the head. everyone thinks they are dead, and they wake up like it's just a terrible fuckin headache.

just imagine. platonic, romantic, whatever chreon moment. where chris is just a fucking wreck with grief. confused and horrified when leon opens his eyes. and awestruck as he complains about his headache. meanwhile there's a bleeding open wound through his fucking head.

chris can't figure out if he's dreaming, if leon's some kind of fuckin invincible bioweapon, or if this man had just been graced by a miracle.

leon survives with minimal/no long term issues. a fucking tank. rasputin without the rizz, or something like that.
