Random Astrology Observation

Hi guys! Thank you so much for liking my recent post about Midheaven. I was absolutely shocked and blown away when I see the number of notes in the first 12 hours (more than 100 notes). This time, I'm going to do something different. I'm going to make an astrology observation about random placements from any natal chart. I didn't prepare anything, I'm just going to describe those placements that will come to my mind first, haha lol. This observation may apply to the western astrology only. Also, this will be a general observation, so take only what resonates with you. Hope it's going to makes sense, at least.

Natives who have multiple planets in the angular houses (1st, 4th, 7th, 10th) are meant to be leaders at some point. They might have such a strong presence and naturally attract other people because of their strong and natural charisma. Every angular house describes the most important things and events in our life.

1st house represents someone's personality, body and overall life.

4th house represents home, childhood and someone's private life.

7th house represents marriage, other people and our partner's life.

10th house represents career path and someone's professional life.

For a couple of months, I have realized that I eat very poorly and less than I have ever eaten for years. Sometimes I basically skip breakfast. It's become clear to me why this happens to me when I did look at the transits and saw that transit Saturn is currently in Pisces sign and it's sitting in my natal 2nd house of food, eating and throat. Saturn is all about restrictions and struggles and I don't have that capacity to eat the huge amount of food like I used to do. And it's not that I'm big, I'm naturally skinny actually.

South Node is related to spirituality, detachment and our comfort zone. When someone's personal planet or point, especially Sun, Moon or Rising, conjuncts your natal South Node, this may be a person who you naturally hang out with. You might feel comfortable with this type of person, but you may suddenly lose or break contact with this person like that is meant to happen. That is because South Node is a karmic planet and you should learn some lessons from your past life while interacting with person whose natal Sun/Moon/Rising conjuncts your natal South Node.

I could be called out for this statement, but I find Lilith a little bit overrated here on Tumblr and on every other social platforms (especially on Instagram and Twitter/X). Since I started following some astrology accounts here, I've been hearing about Lilith and other asteroids like they're something special. Don't get me wrong, I do think that Lilith does represent the sexual and dark side of us and that it can be accurate, but I also think that we already have Pluto for this (and Mars and Saturn too, 'cause they're all dark planets). My opinion is that people rely a little bit too much on asteroids here. When I look at someone's natal chart, I usually look the positions of the planets and I get enough clarity on someone's life and behavior. I use asteroids too, but that's the last thing I look on someone's natal chart.

Since I switched a house system from a Placidus to a Whole Sign, I have understood my own natal chart with the Whole Sign system clearer than before I used Placidus system. I'm not saying that the Placidus is bad and less accurate, but from my experience, that house system has always been confusing to me. When I switched to the Whole Sign system, I could understand my natal chart better and everything just 'clicked' to me. Whole Sign just makes more sense to me, I don't know about you and others.

I used to use both traditional and modern planetary rulers for each sign and house, but now I'm starting to realize that is enough to use only the traditional ones. I'll still use planets from Sun to Pluto while analyzing someone's natal chart, but when it comes to the rulers of the signs and houses, I'll use only planets from Sun to Saturn. The reason why is because I've concluded that the outer planets (Uranus, Neptune and Pluto) move too slow and it takes several years to change their signs. But regardless, I'll still say that these outer planets are co-rulers in modern tropical/western astrology, but I won't use them in practice anymore until I change my mind, which happens quite often, hahaha.

In traditional tropical astrology, Saturn rules over the Capricorn and Aquarius, Jupiter rules over the Sagittarius and Pisces and Mars rules over the Aries and Scorpio. But in modern tropical astrology, Aquarius is co-ruled by Uranus, Pisces is co-ruled by Neptune and Scorpio is co-ruled by Pluto. Use whatever it resonates more to you. I don't force you to think like me, that's not my goal at all.

Like, she would curse under their breath in Spanish if she got annoyed or she would say something to Alastor in Spanish, instinctual or not, like “Mí Amor” (My Love) or “Mí Vida” (My Life)

Or, like, even curse out someone in Spanish,

for example, when Victor wasn’t leaving when they both were at Alastor’s door at the fire, or even when Trey went to go 'Talk' with Reader in the paramedics van,

(or generally any situation, It doesn’t even have to be all angsty like that, Idk, I’m not a writer, lol)

Generally, she just says stuff in Spanish and it can be instinctual, or it can just be that she just wants to

Maybe even teaching Alastor (or generally anyone else) some words in Spanish, if they’re willing or are just curious

MAYBE EVEN SHOW ALASTOR SOME FOOD OF HER CULTURE!!! (I’m sorry, I’m getting way too excited, I’m Hispanic, and I’ve just been wondering, for quite a while, what it would be like if Reader was any sort of Spanish culture) Again, I truly love this story, and I can’t wait to see more!!!

Now, now, if you were a latina, Alastor would want to learn everything about your culture from a very young age. When he was a child, it was mostly childish curiosity. Why couldn’t he understand you when you were talking with your mother in a language he couldn’t understand? Would you teach him so he could speak like that with his mother and his father would never understand them?

Alastor is intelligent so he would catch some sentence without you being aware of it. You would be having a tantrum with your mother and Alastor would take your hand, speaking in perfect spanish. 

“ Cálmate, eres demasiado ruidosa.”

Your mother and yourself were so shocked Alastor thought he made a mistake but when you jumped on him with a big smile he would let out a sigh of relief. Your mother and Marie would be surprised, Alastor was only 9 years old and he already could understand most of the words you were saying.

As he grew older, his curiosity with your culture and language became less… innocent. His obsession was the main cause of it, of course. But as an adult, he would be almost completely fluent in Spanish and knew most of your culture.  He also enjoyed the attention of course which made you repeat to him so many time:

“ A donde te quieren mucho no vengas a menudo.” 

He loved your food, the spices would almost make him moan of delight. Give the man Cochinita Pibil or Tortas Ahogadas, please, he is salivating. You both would spend so much time in the kitchen trying new recipes.

Alastor loved when you were so mad you would switch languages. Even more when you were in front of John who couldn’t understand anything you were saying.

“ ¡Háblame una vez más, te reto y te colgaré delante de toda Nueva Orleans, hijo de puta!”

“ Alastor… What is she saying..?”

“ Oh, she wants you to keep talking.”

Your best friend Alice would learn the language to gossip with you 100%. Sometimes Alastor would join the two of you and you would have three people in a coffee shop, gossiping in spanish.. Even if sometimes it would be so obvious who you were talking about.

“ Mira a esa perra.” Spat Alice which made you and Alastor turn around. You were already joining Alice in her harsh words as Alastor smirked before drinking his coffee before speaking.

“ ¿No es ella profesora de español?”

“ …”

He enjoyed your accent. He had a list of words that he loved hearing from your mouth. He didn’t know why but when you were stuttering on those words, he would smile, finding you so cute.

He would smile when you would call  him “ Mi Vida.” more than “ Mi Amor”. The fact that you saw him as your whole life made him lightheaded.

When Alice was born, he would ask you if you wanted to teach your daughter your language. No matter if you wanted it or not, Alastor would be happy with your choice. If you didn't want to share your culture and language with your daughter, that meant it was something secret between the two of you.

If you wanted it, he would be confused about the warmth inside his chest when you were teaching your daughter some words and you would hug her when she had the words right. He would find himself smiling when your daughter had the same accent as you and would stutter on the same words as you do.

changkyun is one of those coworkers you notice frequently but never really have the chance to interact with him

he politely nods at everyone in the office–you included–and he seems friendly and professional from the conversations you’ve overheard

from what you can tell, changkyun’s either laser-focused on all of his work or very introverted you learn later that it’s both

then, one day, changkyun comes up to your desk 

you answer his question about the project you were working on, not fully computing that changkyun was speaking to you for the first time

you’re almost intimidated by his appearance and deep voice, until he flashes you the cutest smile you’ve ever seen

the more you cross paths in the office, the more changkyun will greet you with a “hello” or “how are you?” instead of just a nod

at first, you’re not sure whether he likes you, as he’s still pretty quiet

but you start to catch on when he sits next to you in meetings or in the break room

he will usually start conversations with a random question, work-related or otherwise

despite how shy he seemed, changkyun’s amazing at making you feel comfortable

it isn’t long before you two chatter quietly during meetings and even joke around 

you don’t even get scolded when you two laugh loudly because everything’s so shocked changkyun was loud LOL

speaking of nearly getting scolded

he messages you the most random questions/facts during work and it is always at the worst time 

he doesn’t intend it, but changkyun is a master of poorly timed “10 strangest deep sea fish” article messages

it’s so endearing though so you don’t get mad…except for the one time the message popped up while you were presenting in a meeting 

everyone stifled their laughter when they saw it was from changkyun

he apologized before you could say anything :,-) because other people in the meeting asked him to send him the same link he sent you lmao

don’t get me wrong ! he’s the best partner because he’d super hard working AND has an amazing, one of a kind mind

but sometimes it’s hard to keep up with his thought process

you have to figure out a balance of trusting him wholeheartedly even when you don’t fully understand what he’s doing and knowing when to ask question after question until you’re on the same page

he has no problem explaining himself to you though !!

changkyun is refreshed by the fact that someone cares enough to understand what’s going on in his mind :,-)

sometimes he even pre-plans his explanations in case you have questions :-( he’s so precious :-( 

changkyun cares a lot about you too. like more than you realize

he gets so upset if you’re stressed :-(

even when you two barely know each other, it hurts his heart when you’re overwhelmed or down

he’ll be a bit flustered, but he’ll do everything in his power to make you feel better

changkyun gets to know what comforts you pretty quickly

you don’t notice it right away because he isn’t always asking you specific questions

but he picks up on the things you do when you’re stressed, making mental notes of ways he can support you

if you like to get yourself treats or bevvies when you need a pick-me-up, changkyun 100% keeps a list on his phone of all your go-to’s

he will absolutely blush and giggle shyly if you comment on how he knows you so well :,-) he’ll say something casual but his heart is FULL of joy because he loves that you can see how much he knows you and cares about you <333

especially when he randomly drops really sentimental thoughts on you

or writes you a note expressing how much you’ve helped him without doing anything other than just being by his side

like changkyun ??? it is 9:30 a.m. on a wednesday you can’t just tell someone “i’m glad i took this job because without it i never would have met you”

he cannot be stopped. if his heart feels warm, he needs to tell you right away because he doesn’t want the moment to pass <3

once he gets that comfortable with you, changkyun considers you a friend friend, not just a work friend

so, as long as you’re comfortable with it, he starts suggesting ways to hang out outside of work !! 

at first, all the suggestions are things like going to coffee shops, attending events for your shared interests, etc.

but he lets it slip one day that, even though he was really excited to go out on the town with you that friday night, he was so exhausted from the week that he wanted nothing more than to lounge on his couch and watch tv

so you said, “why don’t we just do that?”

changkyun looks at you with complete and utter shock

“y-you…you’d want to do that with me?”

you look at him with complete confusion because of course ??? what are friends for ??? also work WAS exhausting this week so you don’t want to go anywhere either lol

his face LIGHTS up and he’s giggling with excitement at a chill night in with you

changkyun’s talking faster than you’ve ever heard when he starts recommending shows and movies for you two to watch together and snacks to have and a “dress code” 

you tell him to take a breath and that you’re sure the night will be perfect :,-)

he nods and stops himself from talking even more because he knows his work needs to be done, so he waves goodbye and says he can’t wait for the week to be over

for the rest of the week, he messages you different links so you can pick out the content lineup

changkyun, looking so comfy in his hoodie, is buzzing when he opens the door to his place

you’re surprised and endeared because he’s so energetic when all you two plan on doing is sitting on the couch 

turns out quality time is a love language for him because you swear you’ve never seen him happier :,-)

after all the laughs and calm moments, changkyun admits that he has never been happier than he was hanging out with you, so he hopes that you two can do this more often

your answer is obviously yes because changkyun is the sweetest and best person to hang out with <333

changkyun can’t stop smiling because now it’s official: he can see his favorite person (you) every day and everywhere, so long as you want to see him which you always want to <3333

And the Buckies are just casually out. Not like pda, but squeezing each other hand, kiss on the cheek goodbye, mentioning to Crosby that bucks new jacket looks good across his shoulders.

New recruits always get a shock when they find out their suspicions are correct but they either get with the picture quickly or are threatened to get with the picture

They’ve got more important things to worry about than their fav’s being in love lol But my brain went 2 very different ways with this one.

On a silly note: I’m imagining the 100th being worried new recruits might get The Buckies blue ticketed, so they start trying to make it seem normal in the most ridiculous ways.

A new recruit sees The Buckies holding hands and frowns? Crosby and Bubbles dramatically interlock fingers and start swinging their hands between themselves as they walk. A new recruit makes a noise when he sees The Buckies give each other a good luck kiss? Brady plants the loudest, sloppiest kiss on Benny and then keeps doing it. A new recruit starts to question how all of Bucky’s bragging about Buck sounds? Blakely starts practically screaming about how great Jack’s ass looks in his slacks. A new recruit starts protesting all of the heavy petting going on at The Buckies end of the table? Curt’s shoving his hands down Dickie’s pants right there in the pub.

The Buckies have absolutely caught on to the shenanigans and start doing it all on purpose sometimes!

On a more serious (but not entirely) note: The 100th are just so used to it that it’s a non-thing. So when new recruits start giving The Buckies the side eye or asking questions, there’s a stark realization that whoops, this isn’t actually supposed to be normal. Everyone reacts differently to trying to get the new recruits with the program. Brady and Curt (and to everyone’s surprise Crosby) are partial to threats of violence while everyone else just tries to get ahead of the game and talk with the new recruits.

It takes almost no time for the new recruits to come around because it’s actually kind of nice and gives a sense of hope to see their fearless leaders still have love for each other despite all the horrors. This is what they’re fighting for anyways right? To keep things that are so pure and good, no matter what the people in power say, safe and protected.

When The Buckie’s go down, morale is that much harder to rouse because they’re not there to be all cute and keep that hope alive. Meanwhile, in the stalag, it’s one of the main things keeping the boys going.

jiwoong’s beige flag is traveling with him. i feel like he travels like a father, so he’s waking you up at 2 in the morning for a flight that isn’t until 7 in the morning. he picks the cheaper parking lot that’s next to the airport and makes you take a shuttle when you could’ve just paid $3 extra to park in the airport parking lot. he goes to starbucks and only gets ice water so you can fill up your emptied bottles. he’s angry the entire time but he still manages to crack a terrible joke to the flight attendant. he panics while you wait for your bags at the baggage claim. he makes you wait in the huge line for the rental car shuttle (where you have to go through three rounds of it leaving and coming back before you can get on) rather than just getting an uber there “because it’s cheaper.” at least you arrive at your destination. godspeed soldier 🫡

zhang hao’s beige flag is that there is always something wrong with him. this man has never been at 100% in his entire life. he always has a headache, or his stomach hurts, or he’s tired, or his arm hurts, or his back hurts…the list goes on. even if you’re carrying extra strength advil, antacid tablets, and one of those little tissue packs, when one issue is resolved, something else begins. the worst part is, when you think everything is fine, you’ll point it out like “oh! you’re not complaining about anything!” and then he’ll give you a look, saying “oh i have a headache right now.” once he felt like he had something in his eye for 3 days straight, but no amount of washing it out or eye drops got rid of the feeling. if he’s not ill or in pain, he’s asleep. you wonder how he got as far as he did when he’s never felt completely okay ever in his life.

hanbin’s beige flag is that he’s entirely unaware when other people are flirting with him. he automatically assumes the best in everyone and he’s got tunnel vision for you, so the idea that anybody is flirting with him is outlandish. you could be standing right next to him, steam coming out of your ears while you force a smile, and he’ll be none the wiser as the person talking to him playfully punches him in the shoulder. on top of that, he’s even more shocked when you point it out to him—he’ll say, “babe, they were just being nice!” and then you have to explain that asking for his number so they can get to know him better is not just being nice. then he gets all offended when you call him dense as if he didn’t entirely miss the heart eyes he was just receiving.

matthew’s beige flag is the fact that he does not question anything. you could tell him that you got a new job and he’d go “oh, cool!” and never ask what exactly it was. your parents once told him that you were a really awful child assuming he’d want to hear more, and he said “makes sense” and never brought it up again. it gets even worse when he tells you things about other people, and when you inquire, he can’t give you any more info. he’ll say “oh, they got cheated on” and you ask who and he has no clue. and it’s not even like he’s uninterested, he just doesn’t think to inquire about anything, even if he’s curious. the idea barely even occurs to him. he didn’t even know where his mom worked when you first started dating, and you asking during your first meeting was the entire reason he found out. you’re considering calling him and telling him that you’re going to prison or something just to see if he even asks why.

taerae’s beige flag is that he cannot explain anything to you without giving you 5 minutes minimum of background information. sometimes it’s over the most mundane stuff too, like him searching for a specific item at the grocery store. he will explain how he had trouble parking before going in, and how he got distracted by the fruit section, and how he had to ask an attendant…all to let you know he didn’t find what he was looking for. once he spent 20 minutes explaining matthew’s life story to tell you a 2-minute long anecdote about how he ran away from a crab at the beach screaming. the worst part is that, whenever you’re on a long drive, he is telling you stories like this the entire time. but he gets mad at matthew every time he mentions the word “story” like YOU ARE A HYPOCRITE KIM TAERAE!!! 🙄

ricky’s beige flag is that he cannot get dressed without your input. you would think this man was a 3-year-old who’d never picked out his own clothes in his life. if you’re not with him, he will facetime you, and if you don’t answer, he will not get dressed until you call him back. this might be endearing except for the fact that, if he doesn’t like your input, he will tell you to pick something else, and ricky can be picky with what he wears. when you ask him why he can’t just pick himself, he says something along the lines of “if you don’t think i look good, then what’s the point.” he has been late to hanging out with you because you didn’t wake up early enough for him to comfortably get ready (with you on the phone). if you spend the night, he will WAKE YOU UP solely so he can get dressed. at least people have said they think he’s started dressing better since you two started dating 😭

gyuvin’s beige flag is the fact that he never hears anything you say. he isn’t ignoring you (although there was a period of time where you thought he was ignoring you), he literally just can’t hear you. one time you were hanging out, you fell in his backyard, and spent so long screaming his name that the neighbor came over and ring the doorbell to ask if you were all right. you have to repeat everything for him. sometimes you have to text him what you’re saying because he cannot decode it. the only time he can hear you without fail is when you’re on the phone. the worst part is that, after a while, he decided he was going to go to the doctor about it and they told him that he literally has trouble hearing the frequency of your voice, so it’s an unfixable issue. you’re stuck like this for the rest of time.

gunwook’s beige flag is that everything you do has to be planned to a T. there is no spontaneity whatsoever when you hang out with gunwook. if you ask to hang out, his first response will be “to do what” and I Don’t Know is NOT an acceptable answer. it can be something as simple as “let’s watch a movie” or something as intricate as “let’s take the train to the beach and go searching for fun shells, and then we can take a scenic bike ride afterward,” there just has to be a plan. when gunwook makes plans for the both of you, he sends you a time-blocked itinerary and he will get a little upset if things go off schedule (but he won’t get angry and ruin things for you). he gets anxious when there’s not a set thing you’re supposed to be doing. at least his plans are always lots of fun!!!

yujin’s beige flag is that he goes days without contacting anyone. he just falls off the face of the earth every 3-4 months for a few days and everyone freaks out in his wake. it starts with gyuvin calling you like “yujin DIED” and then you spend an hour and a half convincing him yujin isn’t dead. then another day without any proof that he’s alive passes and suddenly YOU’RE believing yujin is dead. then you call gunwook, who also hasn’t heard anything, and he calls ricky, who ALSO hasn’t heard anything, and suddenly there’s a groupchat where you’re discussing the likelihood that he’s gone forever. then he posts on instagram and pretends like nothing happened. he doesn’t understand why everyone’s so glad to see/hear from him, either. he even had hao worrying like yujin please don’t do this ever again 🙏

i personally think you are 100% correct.

Keith isn't good with words. but he has his moments where he says the right things. although people always act like Keith is a badass or an asshole (he is at times lol), he is also extremely awkward and struggles with interaction.

he means well, a lot of the time, but he just sometimes tends to say things that are either unintentionally rude in context, like how you pointed out here

the pep-talk he gave Lance was inadequate because he didn't realize that Lance isn't as secure (in himself and his abilities) as he makes himself out to be. part of this falls on Lance too, as he should communicate that he is insecure, but while others might offer comforting words, Keith struggles with it.

Lance: Hey, man. I just wanted to talk with you because...well, because I've been worrying about something.

Keith: Must really be bothering you if you're coming to talk to me.

Lance: Well, I mean, you're the leader now, right?

Keith: I guess.

the most interesting thing to note here is that Keith tried to be light-hearted, and it made Lance seemingly more insecure. Keith is also dealing with his own insecurities in his position and that shows here too. he tries to hide it with aloofness, but you can just feel him hestating in his small confirmation to being leader.

Lance: I've been doing some math. With Shiro back, that makes six paladins, but there are only five lions. And if I'm right, that's one paladin too many.

Keith: Solid math.

Lance: Look, when Shiro takes over the Black Lion, you're going to want your Red Lion back. If I get a lion, I'd have to take Blue from Allura. But she's progressed a lot faster than any of us did. She might even be able to unlock powers we don't know of.

Keith: That's true.

Keith is being logical, and honest, but i don't blame Lance for him being upset at this. it is upsetting to hear someone agree with you when you're insecure already. that is basically what Keith did here, even if it wasn't his intention to.

Lance: So maybe the best thing I can do for the team is step aside.

Keith: What are you talking about?

Lance: This isn't a participation game. This is war. And you want your best soldiers on the front lines.

Keith: Stop worrying about who flies what and just focus on your missions. Things will work themselves out.

Keith, in this moment, is literally blind-sided by this statement from Lance. his expression shifted from neutral to shock. he was genuinely confused about the fact Lance even thought about stepping aside. even his reaction to Lance's comment "you want your best soldiers on the front lines" is logical, and therefore comes over as rude. he is telling Lance to stop worrying about wether he is good enough or not, because he thinks he shouldn't have to tell him that he is a valued member, as literally his right-hand.

Lance: Okay. Thanks.

Keith: And, Lance...leave the math to Pidge.

Lance thanks Keith but it isn't really sincere, mostly because Keith didn't really help. Lance needed validation and comfort, but instead he got logic and misplaced light-heartedness.

neither did anything wrong, but the communication didn't land. Keith didn't really realize Lance was feeling insecure and Lance went to the wrong person for this conversation lol.

I noticed you say a few times tho that your visual headcanon for Snape isn't conventionally attractive and I just wondered if you had any reference of what he looks like in your mind? An actor or other famous person? just someone like that?

I'm just curious how you imagine Snape because I admit I just see Alan Rickman as Snape in my head since I started with the movies as a kid and didn't read the books a few until years later. It always interests me so much when people say they read the books before the movies or read the books with the movies coming out and saw Snape as someone else.

Its ok if you can't think of anyone just thought I'd ask. thx!

I get so giddy when someone sends me an ask like this so I hope no one thinks I don't enjoy questions about Snape or my headcanons. As anyone who knows me knows, I think a lot and especially about those things I love so I always have lots of thoughts rolling around in my head I can be positively overeager to share with anyone interested.

So to answer your question, I don't have a specific person pinned down that is 100% like how I picture Snape in my mind but some close candidates would be a young Adrien Brody (which I think is common enough among Snape fans as a choice, right there with Adam Driver these days), obviously the man that JKR based Snape around, John Nettleship, someone like Adarsh Jaikarran as a potential Hogwarts-era and early 20s Snape (even if he is more good-looking than I usually lean, in some pictures he just channels Snape vibes for me quite a bit) and a very young Julian Richings if you've ever seen photos of him in his younger years (I have two here for you so you can see my point a bit, here and here).

Ironically, Julian Richings in the later years of his acting career would probably have been my first choice for a Voldemort fan cast back in the day when any Harry Potter reboot was purely in the realm of the hypothetical (I mean, c'mon, look at this and tell me you can't see it too) but as JKR is an unapologetic anti-feminist/TERF I provide no monetary support to any of her projects including any licensed games, the watching of future reboots or purchasing of future tie-in books in the HP universe, officially licensed HP merchandise, or even by giving traffic to what was formerly Pottermore, etc.

All I bring to the fandom now is my fan theories and love for Snape, which she not only does not benefit from but never seemed entirely at peace with given how the character got away from her and took off. I can't think of a better way to spite someone so utterly spiteful herself than to take the character she was most shocked by people loving in any capacity and celebrate him in every incarnation (gay, bi, trans, ace, autistic, poc, etc.) with my queer, gender-nonconforming little heart while she gets zero money off me for it.

Anyway I hope the visual guide gives you a little more insight into my mind. I've never seen Snape as "ugly" (even when I joke my Snape is "ugly" and I like him that way) but my mental picture of him is of a man whose looks might fall into that unconventionally attractive sphere or what some people call homely. Occasionally I veer off that a bit, as with Adarsh Jaikarran, oh, oh! And also Lee Soo Hyuk, Song Jae-Rim and Kento Yamazaki (ever since I saw him in the live-action Bloody Monday manga series adaptation)!

But yes, my favorite Snape and the Snape I love isn't usually model attractive but also not quite the gargoyle Harry describes (that kid had some ridiculously high standards of beauty tbh, about the only characters he didn't have mentally critical notes on their appearance was the unnamed Veela, Fleur, and Narcissa Malfoy so yeah he totally thought "Draco's mom has got it going on..." Lol!) but somewhere in that "unconventional" categorization of attractive which I feel really suits a man who so often defies easy categorization in general.

(Excuse all the edits. After I gave a few examples more started hitting me and I was like ohhhhh I should have shared them, why didn't I think to share them? So I may come back and make more edits throughout the day, no promises I won't! Lol)

“I cannot believe you did this to yourself.”

Lance is frosty. He is mad. He is glaring heavily at Keith’s bare torso, where he is gently — ever so gently — cleaning the large gash stretching across Keith’s ribs. His hands are steady, like they always are, but his teeth are chattering, even as he tries to clench them.

“Of all the gall-brained, idiotic things to do. Jesus fucking Christ. It’s worse because I know you’re smart, you fucking imbecile, so I don’t know why you tried to do that!”

Keith keeps his mouth shut. He lets Lance yell, lets him rant, although his hands remain steadfast and his touch never gets rough. Lance is right, this time, and also Keith feels bad. Keith knows he fucked up. He knows he pushed himself too far, he knows he didn’t think about consequences, knows he let his anger consume him.

Keith feels a droplet hit his skin, outside of the damp cloth dabbing at his wound. He blinks, finally lifting his head to look Lance in the face, and is more shocked than he has a right to be to see the steady tears dropping down the Cuban’s face.

“I just…”

For the first time, Lance’s hands tremble. He notices immediately, pulling away from Keith’s skin and busying himself with re-wetting the cloth.

“I don’t understand. Genuinely. Why would you do that to yourself? Don’t you…”

Keith never finds out what he does or does not do, because Lance’s breath hitches, and he chokes on a sob before he can finish his sentence. Keith rushes forward on instinct, trying to make pull Lance into a hug to rub his shoulder or anything, really, but the movement pulls on his torn skin and he yelps, collapsing right back to where he was.

“Don’t fucking move, you’ll only make it worse,” Lance snaps, glowering at him through red and puffy eyes. He twists out the cloth, draining the excess water. His hands have stopped shaking, but tears still leak heavily out of his eyes, and every other breath shudders.

The guilt churns in Keith’s stomach, forming a lump in his throat. He flinches Lance presses the cloth to his chest, even though he doesn’t press hard. Lance mutters an apology, loosening the pressure a little.

“I’m the one that’s sorry,” Keith whispers. “I really am, Lance. I’m sorry. I wasn’t thinking about how dangerous I was being.”

“Then what were you thinking about, Keith? Because when I walked in that room the only thing that I was thinking was that I was going to watch my best friend get killed right in front of me!”

Keith carefully reaches over and pries the cloth from Lance’s clenched hands, tossing it to the side. He slides his own hands in the space left behind, holding onto Lance just as tightly as he was gripping the cloth.

“Hey,” he says. “Lance. Look at me.”

It takes a few minutes, but eventually he does. Keith quirks a small, sad smile when he meets those dark brown irises, squeezing their hands together three times in quick succession.

“I’m okay. I’ll need a couple stitches, maybe an hour in the pod if you think that’s best, and then you can give me all the shit I deserve, okay? You can even tell Shiro and Allura so they can yell at me, too.”

Lance’s face crumples, and he lets out another sob. “It’s not about the fucking yelling, Keith, it’s just — I can’t lose you, Keith. I can’t I can’t I can’t I can’t—”

Keith can’t watch Lance break down. He can’t watch Lance cry like this, he can’t watch the despair play through his face. The terror in his eyes when he first walked into Keith getting nearly slaughtered by the level-way-too-high training bots will already haunt him every night. So he does the only think he can think of.

He leans in quickly, careful of the pull on his skin, and presses his lips to Lance’s. He cradles his face in his hands, as gently as Lance was touching him earlier, using his thumbs to wipe the tears from Lance’s cheeks. He tilts their heads, trying to find the most comfortable angle.

Lance makes a sighing noise into his mouth. Keith doesn’t know if it’s a good sigh, not at first, but then Lance drags his hands halfway to Keith’s shoulders, mindful of his gash. His fingers flutter over Keith’s skin as his hands twitch, every time their mouths move. Keith moves one of his hands from Lance’s face to curl their fingers back together.

“You’re not forgiven just because you kissed me,” Lance mumbles between kisses.

“I know.”

“I’m still furious.”

“I know.”

“…I love you.”

“I know. I love you, too.”

“Don’t ever do that to me again.”

“I won’t.”

“Promise?”

Lance has a very embarrassing secret.

See, everyone thinks that if Lance went back in time and told his preteen self that he is completely and irrevocably in love with one Keith Kogane, Preteen Lance would be horrified. The truth is that Lance has had a big, fat, humiliating crush on Keith since they accidentally bumped into each other during the new student orientation day at the Garrison when they were eleven years old.

Lance has been gone on Keith’s ass for nine goddamned years. Seriously.

The whole thing is just humiliating. Not even Hunk knows. The only person who knows is Keith himself, and he knows because he is unfortunately very charming and Lance is very bad and keeping secrets from pretty people. (Also, somehow Keith suspected the horrible secret even though Lance is very subtle, and one day decided he was going to make Lance admit it and kissed it out of him. Lance is a little annoyed he caved so easily, but he would honestly challenge anyone to be pressed against a door and kissed so hard it’s almost bruising by Keith ‘Walking Sex Machine’ Kogane and not spill every single one of your life secrets. Keith is a very convincing individual, who is well aware of his pretty privilege and his no qualms against using it.)

“I love you and all your embarassing secrets,” Keith promises. Lance scowls, burrowing further into Keith’s chest and hiking their fluffy space blanket above his head.

“Shuddup.”

Keith’s chest shakes as he chuckles, and Lance pretends the sound doesn’t make him smile. It’s useless, because Keith knows him better than anyone, but whatever. He feels a pressure on his head as Keith presses a kiss there through the blanket, then wraps both arms — big, strong arms, that Lance admittedly gets distracted by often — around him and rolls them over so they’re both laying on their sides. He then gently tugs down Lance’s blanket burrow, so his face is visible.

“Is it really so bad that you’ve loved me for so long?”

“It’s not that,” Lance huffs, eyes crossing as he tries to look Keith in the face (they’re very close). “It’s the fact that I did the whole rivalry thing because I was too embarrassed to talk to you. That’s the horrible part.”

Keith laughs again, shifting down the kiss him properly. Lance allows it, even though he’s pretending to be grumpy, because he likes Keith kisses. They’re the best kind.

“I’ve got nothing for you there. That is embarrassing,” Keith says between kisses. He never goes far, which Lance appreciates and also knows it’s because Lance has him koalaed a little. Lance hums and decides he is done talking, wiggling closer into Keith’s space (so close there is no space where they aren’t touching, no space where they aren’t pressed close close closely together). He presses one more kiss to Keith’s mouth before sighing and resting his head back on top of Keith’s heart.

“I love you more than anything,” he whispers, because he does. He presses yet another kiss to Keith’s chest, because he’s sappy and because he can.

“You are the best thing that has every happened to me,” Keith responds, just as quiet. He runs his hands through Lance’s hair, scratching gently every fourth or so pass.

Lance smiles. Maybe his secret really isn’t so embarrassing, after all.

Lance smiles self-deprecatingly. “Jack of all trades, master of none. You know how I am. I’m not really needed for anything.”

Keith could not believe what he was hearing. Lance thought he was unnecessary? Lance?

“Lance, what the fuck are you talking about?”

“Look, dude, I don’t need false reassurances. I know I don’t have any specific thing, I’m not like you guys. You guys all have your specialty. You’re important. My specialty is being a stand-in.”

Keith feels his jaw drop at the pure conviction in the Cuban’s voice. How does he not know?

“Lance,” Keith says again, “being the jack of all trades is your thing. There is nothing you can’t do, and I’m not saying that in a frilly, ‘if you just put your mind to it!’ sort-of way. If you choose to do something, genuinely, you can do it. It’s fascinating.”

Lance frowns. “Man, what are you talking about? I’ve never really excelled at anything. Nothing important, anyway. Like, look at you — you’re a master swordsman. You can beat anyone in a duel. It’s awesome. I can’t even come close to that!”

“But why do you have to? Lance, I can’t shoot for shit. On God, unless the target is right in front of me, I cannot hit them with any kind of projectile. But you can use a sword, dude. You might not be an expert, or whatever, but you can hold your own.”

“So what?”

“So that’s what I’m trying to explain! No matter what skill you decide to pick up, you figure it out eventually. You wanted to learn how to read Altean? You did it.”

“I can‘t even speak it!” Lance argues. “I can only read and understand it. I can’t, like, hold a conversation or anything. It’s embarrassing next to Allura or Coran.”

“You are missing the point. You can’t keep comparing yourself to every expert and hating yourself for falling short. Of course you’re not as good as Allura or Coran at Altean. They’re native speakers! How well do they speak Spanish?”

“…They don’t.”

“Exactly! And think of all the other things you were able to do after just, like, reading the instructions. You were able to work the healing pods after a week in space. You’re the only other person on the ship besides Hunk who can make food that Pidge will eat. You figured out how to sew because you were bored and you needed something to do. Hell, Lance, you’re the only one who’s evolved more than one bayard form! And you figured out how to pilot Blue faster than anyone else in their Lion! You don’t have a thing, Lance, and that’s exactly it — you can pick up everyone else’s thing with ease. You’re the most adaptable person I’ve ever met, Lance. Jack of all trades, master of none — but better than a master of one. You’re missing half of the quote.”

Lance is silent for a few minutes, contemplative. “I guess I never considered any of those things skills. They’re just things I can do. They aren’t hard.”

Keith smiles, fond and exasperated. “Not to you, man. No one else can just choose to learn a skill in an hour and do it. That’s a Lance thing. And if you ask me, well. I think you’re pretty wonderful.”

“Shiro. Shiro. Shiro. I have important information. Shiro. Shiro.”

“Yes, Keith. I’m listening.”

Shiro looks at his dumbass little brother patiently, setting down his knitting. Keith is staring at the space slightly to the left of where Shiro is sitting, eyes unfocused. Shiro lets him sit in the silence for a bit, knowing the meds made him a little slow and loopy. He’ll get there.

He can’t tamp down a fond grin. It happens so often it should be boring, now, but loopy Keith will always be funny. It was like every bit of jadedness he’d picked up over the years melted away, leaving only the awkward, loveable dork Shiro knew and loved.

“I have — I have important information,” Keith repeats haltingly.

“I got that, buddy,” Shiro encourages. “Want to share that info? I’m listening.”

Keith hums. He blinks a few times, gaze finally locking onto Shiro’s, who smiles at him.

“It’s — it’s about Lance.”

Shiro fights to keep his smile from getting mischievous, to keep his expression pleasantly neutral. Oh, this was going to be good.

“Yeah, bud? What about him?”

Keith blinks again, his expression grave. “His tongue peeks out a little when he smiles real big, Shiro. A real smile. The one he gets when he talks about his family.” Keith takes great care to enunciate every word, tone completely serious. “That’s — it’s Very Important, Shiro. Okay?”

Look, Shiro’s a disciplined guy. He has a lot of internal strength. Really. But keeping a straight face as his baby brother looks him dead in the face, eyes as serious as a heart attack, and starts talking smush about how much he loves his crush’s smile?

C’mon. Come on. Of course he laughs a little! It would be weird if he didn’t!

“Shiro!” Keith scolds. “I’m serious! It’s important! We have to make sure Lance smiles like that. He gets sad sometimes. We gotta remind him he’s important, so he smiles.”

“You’re so whipped,” Shiro says fondly.

Keith goes back to staring at the wall, just as serious as before.

Shiro wonders if he’s thinking about Lance’s eyes, this time.

It won’t be the first time Shiro heard about them, that’s for damn certain.

“I did what.”

Keith’s face is so red that it’s concerning. Or, well, Shiro would be concerned, if he wasn’t so busy losing his shit.

“‘We have to protect his smile, Shiro’,” he mocks between wheezes. Keith wacks him full-force with a pillow.

“Fuck off,” he says hotly. “There’s no way I said that.”

There’s a moment of pained, contemplated horror, before Keith looks at him aghast. “Did I?”

Shiro laughs so hard he goes silent. Keith hits him again, but it’s weaker.

“Oh my god, I did fucking say that. I fucking — oh my god. Oh my god!”

Keith collapses back on his bed. He puts his pillow-weapon over his face and screams. Shiro finally gets ahold of himself, forcing his laughter down. He pats Keith on the shoulder, trying very deeply to be supportive and understanding even though literally all he wants to do is laugh and laugh and laugh.

“There, there,” he says, voice shaking.

Keith removes his pillow just to glare at Shiro. “Fuck off,” he says again, but this time it sounds resolved. “God. Do I — do I like him?”

Shiro blinks. Is he — is he serious? “Are you being deadass with me right now?”

♡ + Armand/Daniel in Our House

omg I'm excited, I have so much lore for them I haven't written into the fic yet! Our House is my Armand/Daniel human AU in case none of this makes sense 🫣🫣🫣

• Who is the most affectionate?

In public, it's Armand 100%. He does not know the meaning of the term 'boundaries.' From day one he was all up in Daniel's business, the most possessive and territorial body language you've ever seen -- almost like a guard dog with its owner. Arm around his waist or clinging to the crook of his elbow. Armand's always one 'overly flirtatious look from the cute college barista aimed at Daniel' away from baring his teeth and hissing.

In private, Armand doesn't feel the need to put on such a show and his clinginess manifests more as cuddling into Daniel's side and curling into his lap at any given opportunity. He spent most of his early life in an orphanage before The Bad Stuff™️, so he's been touch starved with only a couple exceptions over the years and he's making up for the lost time.

• Who initiates the handholding?

Armand prefers to hang on directly to a limb like it's an anchor, so it's actually Daniel that will attempt to initiate the handholding not only to give himself more freedom of motion (RIP) but also to remind Armand that he's aware of his needs and he's trying (and wants) to meet them.

• Who worries more for the other?

LOL. Daniel, bless him. Being married to Armand right now is fucking stressful. 🤧

• Who is more likely to ask for help?

Neither of them, things have to get pretty bad before they get there. They're both used to being independent and having to survive shitty environments with minimal support, so it's hard to recognize when it's time for 'Hey, I need help.'

That being said, Daniel was the one to enforce the condition that Armand begin therapy if they were going to move forward as a couple and he did do AA -- so I guess Daniel. His American mentality was much more open to it as well, versus Armand's Eastern European mindset. It took Armand a minute and it was essentially a gun-to-his-head type situation; he is rather fond of Dr. Lydia now though.

• Who is the one always losing the keys?

Daniel. He has about 20 different things to worry about on any given day, and keys are just not one of them. Thankfully Armand's OCD comes into effect here and he always has a spare and a spare-spare, as well as a spare-spare-spare that he's wedged under a loose brick by the window near the fire escape.

So best case scenario if Armand's not home, Daniel will ideally scale up five flights of the fire escape, retrieve the keys, then go back down and enter through the doors like a civilized person. In reality, he totally jiggles that window open with his pocket knife like a burglar. It upsets the cats; the neighbors are used to it, happens at least once every 2-3 months.

• Who leaves little love notes for the other?

Armand.

He's old-fashioned like that and slips a Post-It into Daniel's backpack with either some obscure darkly romantic line from a poem that's mildly unsettling, or something superficially innocent like 'I think I'm ovulating today... xxx A'.

Anyone accidentally glimpsing that on Daniel's desk when it tumbles out as he's rummaging between notebooks and his laptop wouldn't be too surprised, unless they knew Daniel was married to a man and if he wasn't presently blushing red like a tomato from his face to his shirt collar.

• Who can't sleep unless the other is there?

Armand, no one's shocked. He's an incredibly deep sleeper but he has the worst time actually falling asleep if Daniel isn't home (i.e., visiting his family). He usually ends up curled underneath a blanket on the couch with the TV on in the background, more passing in and out of consciousness due to exhaustion than really sleeping, with the cats on his chest and his belly.

Daniel noticed early on during their sleepovers that Armand tends to deep sleep in the fetal position with his arms curled against his chest as if he were holding something. Naturally, Daniel sort of awkwardly/very sweetly gifted him a little stuffed animal so Armand had something to hold when he's not around -- Armand has slept with it every night since. Daniel doesn't travel alone unless it's extenuating circumstances.

• Who is more likely to propose to the other?

Technically, Armand looked that man in the eye mid-fuck in the men's room with his back pressed up against the wall, knees to his shoulders, and announced in complete and utter seriousness within an entire month of dating: 'You're going to marry me.'

To which Daniel, twenty-four years old, in a state of perpetual horniess combined with a healthy smidgen of fear, responded: 'Yeah sure, baby... fuck... You close?'

• Who introduced the other to their family first?

Armand doesn't have any living family, so Daniel.

His parents were superficially nice until it became obvious Armand was fucking their son in a decidedly homoerotic fashion. Armand tries not to let on how much it hurts because he understands the fraught relationship Daniel has with his parents, but it cuts deep because he always hoped if he was fortunate enough to fall in love again, his partner's family would become his own.

He is close to Daniel's baby sister, Caroline. She's too young for Armand to really talk to her about much, but they do text often and she always looks forward to spending a week at 'Danny and Army's' in Brooklyn when Daniel flies her up during semester break to get her out of their parent's house.

• Who is more likely to play with the other's hair?

Daniel loves getting his hands tangled up in Armand's hair, especially when he lets it let long and unruly. Daniel's a fidgety guy when he's working through something in his head (a story, a crisis, why none of the movies Armand loves ever seem to make any sense), and twirling Armand's hair and boinging his curls is a fun tactile distraction.

• Who makes sure the other has meals/stays hydrated?

They both do this. Armand tends to neglect himself when he's depressed and Daniel neglects himself when he's stressed. Armand's big thing is making sure Daniel eats 'like a person.' Daniel's big thing is making sure Armand does basic things like get out of bed, drink water, eat something, anything.

When things get bad, bad, but the show has to go on (i.e., Daniel can't quit his job and life to force-fed Armand a cracker and juice), they implement a simple 'you have to do X by 11am and text me you've completed X' system. It might not work for everyone, but it appeals to Armand's desire to please his husband and receive praise, and it's a small measure of accountability.

• Who is more likely to stand up to anyone for the other?

I think they're equally feral and protective when it comes down to it. Because he knows Armand's past, Daniel is already to go to bat at the slightest provocation.

Armand once took a bite out of a guy for calling Daniel a slur when they were out in public. Yes, Armand does have a somewhat impressive rap sheet.

• Who is the most likely to prepare a surprise for the other?

Daniel can't keep a secret to save his life. As soon as Armand even raises an eyebrow at him, he's in stitches -- no poker face, zero composure.

Armand lives to plan surprise parties and the Big Romantic Gestures that take at least a month and a $1, 000 to pull off.

• Who makes the other pinky promise not to do certain things?

Daniel, and he takes it so seriously. Armand thinks it's childishly charmingly and it gives him butterflies when Daniel crushes his much smaller pinkie against his.

• Who puts a blanket over the other when they fall asleep on the couch?

Armand -- he knows Daniel worries a lot between him and his family and all his editorial deadlines so when he passes out on the couch approximately 10 minutes after dinner, Armand carefully removes his glasses, kisses his forehead, and tucks him in with the rainbow afghan Daniel's granny knitted him decades ago and he's been lugging around ever since he left for college.

When I watch TV shows I'm mostly always involved in fandom and fandoms drive TV shows and ABC loves their couples and marketing them through the network for the tv show and fandom. Since the finale not a single damn person ships either of the new Buck or Eddie pairings and you don't think ABC has realized nobody cares about these two no chemistry pairings? They've taken notice just as much as they noticed the reaction to the finale especially the endings for buck and eddie was almost universally negative. I half think Oliver, Joauquin, and many others knew the finale would be received as negatively as it was although it probably shocked Oliver that it's now the lowest rated episode of the series(which he does take notice of those things) and he knows everyone hates his new pairing. I mean listen when Hallmark doesn't even cast you guys, that goes to show you have no chemistry. Hallmark casts anyone lol.

ABC loves there couples. Merder, Captain Swan, Chenford, Caskett, etc. Like they ride on these pairings. To put any of these two pairings even 100 yards away from these iconic ABC pairings is laughable at best.

I'm with you that I think Eddie and Marisol's break up will happen off screen probably post time skip but I think like with Eddie/Ana we will have to see Buck and Natalia's break up, which will probably connect to a Buck breakdown because he still has not faced his death on top of other things maybe him realizing him and Natalia want different things out of life.

I agree with you in how ABC really promotes its pairings. I remember what they did for Caskett when Castle was airing, and I've seen how they promote Chenford, so I was instantly excited when I saw we're moving to that network. I think ABC is a network that knows a good thing when it sees one, and Buddie is a very good thing.

(Side note: Had to ask a friend what "Merder" is. Apparently it's from Grey's Anatomy.)

If you're trying to dispute what I said about chemistry, then I cannot begin to tell you how uninterested I am in this "debate." My tags were frustration that literally every time people ship A and B and then A has a romantic scene with C, people claim A and C "have no chemistry." It may or may not be true, but I've seen plenty of pairings that had great chemistry, or where I really liked the C character, but that didn't change the fact that they weren't meant to be together and that A and B were the ship that was endgame (Booth's season six girlfriend comes to mind as an example). So I find it a tired rallying cry and generally missing the point.

For example: as I've said in previous asks - hey did you guys know I have a tag called #mads answers things where you can see if I've already discussed the thing you want to put in my inbox? - 911 loves the "friends to lovers" trope. Two of their three couples had it, and it was the two we saw develop on-screen. If Buck and/or Eddie were going to get with a serious love interest besides each other, I think they would introduce that person as a friend first and spend time building the slow burn.

Anyway again not sure what you're trying to say here, but I agree that it's great we're moving to ABC. I'm very excited and hopeful for Buddie in regards to that move. I hope that others are as well, and if you're not, then you are more than welcome to that opinion, but you are not welcome in my inbox.

If you're trying to discuss with me things like production, networks, meta, speculation, etc, then I'm sorry but I'm genuinely not interested and I'm not sure how many times and ways I can say this. Maybe they’re superfluous, maybe they’re not, but through a lot of trial and error I’m pretty sure all of these are actually helping me feel quite a bit better. Notes: all of these are chewable/gummies, which not only is easier when I first wake up, but also easier for the body to digest and so more effective. My hair falls out a ton so the hair vitamin really helps. And I always wake up hungry but feel sick if I eat, so I go for a pre-made shake every day. They’re expensive but they keep me feeling ok, give me a good amount of nutrients, and require zero energy to prepare.

Mid Morning:

Cod liver oil with A and D vitamins

Odourless garlic

Coenzyme Q10

Notes: I’ve found the cod liver oil to be more effective than just regular vitamin D, maybe it’s because of the omegas or whatever. Also the garlic is lowkey one of the best things I take, it reduces inflammation in my sinuses and everywhere else, and is helpful for circulation which makes everything else better too.

Noon:

Claritin

Notes: I’ve had depression and anxiety diagnosed for a long time so been on welbutrin for a while, but it’s a bonus that it’s supposed to help for fibro brain things too. Seasonique is crucial bc I’m pretty sure I have PMDD and my mental health absolutely tanks on my period, so only having one every three months is a lifesaver. And my respiratory system has been bad for a long time and I live in a city with not amazing air quality, so a daily antihistamine helps a lot and I’ve stopped pretending there’s a time of year I won’t need that.

Afternoon:

Notes: I’ve had low iron forever, and even though doctors have always told me it’s not low enough to qualify as anemia, I’ve had anemia-like symptoms my entire life, so. However, I didn’t really notice benefits of either iron or probiotics until I started taking them together, and now they’re huge. If I’m ever out and about and forget/wait to take these I immediately realize bc I start feeling faint lol.

Before Bed:

Magnesium bisglycinate

Cranberry

Turmeric collagen with univestin and bromelain

Melatonin

Notes: I’ve had bladder issues for a while which I didn’t even realize was a fibro thing; I’ve always had to pee a million times before bed etc. Cranberry fixes it. The turmeric collagen one is new but I’ve been shocked how much it actually helps with joint pain and mobility. The magnesium I’m not 100 on but my fatigue situation has gotten better so it can’t be hurting at least.

Is it annoying to take so many things throughout the day? Yes, but I just fill up my pill containers on Sunday and then it’s all ready for the rest of the week, so not the worst. Would it be better to get all these nutrients from food? Probably, duh, but we’re living life on hard mode already and I don’t need to make it even harder so pls don’t bring that up lol.

Of course, always look up interactions before you add anything new to your regimen, especially if anything you take is prescription. I’m always on the lookout for new things to try now though tbh, currently thinking about ginger maybe.

HIYAAA, this is me, IM SO HAPPY YOU WANT TO BE MOOTS WITH ME AS WELL, so far ive finsihed most of my assignments I just a few that take a little more longer and so much more effort but after that im so taking a big break.

so true though, ive been a ghost user since I joined and that was like 2020 I totally saw the rise and the fandom of the superwholock era but I never really joined in on it as I haven't watched those shows so Tumblr was like an app that was there but I wasn't using it every hour of the day as I am now, it has now become my favourite escape from reality other than sleeping (and even that could use some improvement like lucid dreaming or maybe even shifting) >_< so ive just been a consumer on here until I see like blogs that drop posts within a minute and the next day it has more than like 10,000 notes (WHICH they soo deserve bc damn they write so majestically) and I was like man I would die if even one person liked my posts and liked what I wrote, I cant even imagine how I would react to 100 let alone 10,000. like I think I would sob. and the way blogs write their posts, you can tell they put their whole mind and soul and everything into it, its so beautiful. so this community really ignited my previously dead passion for writing and I love it for that.

I have no experience in working but I think I might have to start soon since my situation sort of demands it so I have no idea what its like but I can only imagine changing 100% of a campaign is more than stressful, I hope it goes well for you and you get more free time to yourself.

Ok this is cracking me up. I've had about 8 blazed posts on my dash of nothing more than "I love my kids" and "listen to my albums".

Twitter refugees are not understanding that using blaze does not make you viral. There is no such thing on Tumblr. People don't go viral on Tumblr through blazed posts. We color the sky, help @wereralph with whatever he's up to, and so on.

By all means, please boost Tumblrs because that's income, but don't expect anything to come from it except spite and getting blocked.

Hello, how are you?

How was your weekend? How was with your in-laws? They sound like a very friendly family. How are you going playing with your father in-law? Is he still “kicking your asses”? lol

My weekend becomes more busy as I expect, yesterday in the morning my boss call me and asked me if I can cover someone at the emergency department again today and I just say yes by instict *subs* but I really wanted to go to this plant event today at Vicente’s park with my family to buy some flowers but *long sigh* well, there will be more events to go for a walk together.

Yesterday I get a little late at sign class so I couldn’t ask for the notes from the last class, but fortunately the teachers always start doing a small review from last session and there weren’t too many new signs for me, actually I was able to learn all of them at that very moment #wujuu

Something funny was that I just missing last class and I find out that we’ll do a rally next Saturday, and they commissioned some support books, like when you missing a class and it happens from everything :’D

And at the end this classmate borrowed me her book that we talked about the last time “Before December” (I forgot to bring her Little Woman, so it’s for the next time) and I saw that she is the kind of person that likes to put on note sticks, write on the book and make some little drawings!! <333333333 I almost cried with emotion. I DEFINITELY going to enjoy very much her book.

My bestie calls me and he agree to go to the FIL with me on Friday! AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH  I’m very very excited!!! because last year we couldn’t go together and also because it’s the first time we meet in months and finally not from a video call! *cries with hyperactivity*. If you go to the FIL… is it bad to admit that I truly hope I can see you there at least a few seconds? Maybe it is, sorry I don’t want you to make you feel uncomfortable. But also I know it’s a little big place with maaany people, so.. who knows, maybe I can’t, but I hope you can enjoy your day with your best friend and you can find something you like. <3

Talking about Piledriver waltz, I love the whole submarine soundtrack, (some day I want to buy the vinyl disc) but this song has an especial place in my heart because in that time when I had nightmares I always looked for you just to talk and forget that bad feeling I had and it didn’t matter if you were sleeping or awake, you always responded my messages or calls (sometimes was very late and it gets me a little worried tbh) one night I asked if you could sing me something, anything, and you send me audios of you singing that song; I want to admit that I kept those audios in the highlight messages so I listened Piledriver waltz by you maaany many times. Now I don’t remember how your voice sounds when you talk, I have a glimpse of how your laugh sounds but, I remember almost 100% how you sound when you sing and most of the time I just can remember if I put on Piledriver waltz. Also, thank you very much for explain me your songs, now they have soooo much sense, I remember you always respected bug’s life’s but I thought it was because you are someone who likes to respect any living being, well, that’s true but I didn’t know you love bugs, it’s very nice to know that!

My brother… we didn’t know that too loool, he told us his feelings on 2020 so with all what we were living that time I have  to confess that first I was in shock and then I get veeeeeeeeeery worried about him for how our family could be with him, but now is kind of normal I guess(?); my brother it’s more open about that with me than my parents; they know, my mom is still on grief for that, I can see it in her eyes, but she is trying to not get minded by that, and my dad just avoid the topic but still respects him, the rest of our family don’t know, so he talks to me about other boys and how they treat him, we made jokes about som random imaginary scenarios and about silly moments he has when he gets nervous when they are close to him, or sometimes we talk about situations when they tell him things that he doesn’t understand. His teenager era changes him A LOT, he takes more seriously his studies, he express everything he thinks and feels (sometimes is very mean but it’s not his intention sound in that way), he starts to practice volleyball, he is really into quizzes and test from internet and psychology topics (I already explained him that those things are not always are truth), he reads more, he is an extrovert person with introvert boundaries and sensitive soul, he is 18y/o (my baby is a man now! 😭) and after many talks, and some discussions with our mom, we negotiated that better to him if he is going to take a break after his graduation to prepare more himself before applying to the university next year, and we are so glad that she accepted!!, so yeah that’s a victory for us; I understand the big brother senses are always on, I trust that he is going to choose nice people to be around him and if it doesn’t work how he expects I will always be there to hug him as much as he need.

Now talking about the treasure’s planet, I didn’t know you loved that movie, it’s amazing! Also I remember that you told me that you both love him so much, never explained to me the reason, but also I didn’t want to ask because sounds to me like it was a very sensitive topic and didn’t wanted to make you feel uncomfortable told me something that looks very personal.

Who better to comfort Zayne when a surgery goes sideways or fails completely than the person who was there assisting him the whole way. Greyson knew the entire procedure inside and out, had reviewed the surgery docket and patient profile at least a dozen times, and was briefed by Dr Zayne at least a dozen more. The hours of research and careful preparation don't always guarantee success, though, and it's a painful reality they have to accept.

Greyson was the one who spoke to the little girl's parents. Normally, it would have be the head surgeon, but when he saw the look in Dr Zayne's eyes as he was removing his surgical gown, it was all he could do to not bring the quiet man into his arms. Sure, Dr Zayne was damn near universally revered and almost worshiped at Akso as something beyond human, but he was so far from that. He was just a man, truly. And as their eyes connected in the silent scrub room, all Greyson could think to say was, "I'll talk to them. Go lay down for a bit" giving his shoulder a strong squeeze for emphasis.

And all Zayne could choke back was a soft "thanks."

They were understanding and kind, all things considered. They hugged him and thanked him for giving their daughter a few extra years with them. "Please, we want Dr Zayne to have this, as a memory of her. Of how much she meant and hopefully how much can be learned from studying her case." Greyson still can remember her father's words as he holds the stuffed sheep in his hand, the other resting on the handle of Zayne's office. He calls out gently once, waiting for a moment before opening the door.

It's much darker in his office tonight than Dr Zayne normally keeps it, but Greyson is getting used to that now. The harder the patient is for him to lose, the more time he needs to process it before he can manage case notes or patient reports. Everyone at Akso sees a machine or robot- but Greyson knows all too well that Zayne is like any other doctor. He's just a man.

"They've gone home for the evening. How are you holding up?" He finally speaks up, eyes adjusting to the darkness to find the other physician reclined on the couch, head tipped all the way back with his arm over his face and lab coat flung over the armrest. A rare moment of dishevelment for him. But even in a moment like this, he can't help but admire him. Long legs stretched and relaxed, the toned torso he'd seen so many times poised and slightly arched against the curve of the couch, broad shoulders that seemed to carry far too much upon them. If he could see his hazel green eyes at this moment, he'd probably fall at his feet.

Zayne doesn't respond, so Greyson steps in further, closing and locking the door behind him. Others would mean well, of course, but they do more harm than good right now. He gently sets the lamb plushie down on the coffee table near the sofa and softly sits beside him, reaching towards his friend and placing a gentle hand on his knee.

"For what it's worth," he starts, voice soft and low, feeling Zayne tense slightly at the contact but relax again when he hears Greyson speak. "Her parents only had wonderful things to say about you. I could repeat them, if you want to hear them?" Zayne still has his eyes covered with the back of his hand, but Greyson hopes to God he can hear the smile in his tone still. He gives his knee a slight squeeze for emphasis, and is a little shocked when Zayne actually moves his hand, running it through his dark bangs and back along his scalp, sitting up slightly in the process.

"No. I think I know what they would have said." His voice is softer than Greyson is used to hearing it, but it's the slight hitch in his throat at the end when he sees the lamb on the table that catches his ears. The bob of Zayne's throat as he takes a harsh swallow, the stretch of his long fingers as he reaches for toy, the hesitation in his lungs as he pauses in front of it- all of this Greyson watches in a humbled awe before he reaches forward and wraps his own fingers around Zaynes, tangling them together.

Zayne's eyes snap to his in an instant, and Greyson can see the remnants of glassy tears still pricking at the corners. "It's okay. We can put it somewhere else tonight." He's not normally the one doing the leading between the two of them, but Zayne seems to need the comfort tonight. Another soft "Thank you" is mumbled in the darkness as Greyson starts to stand, fingers unfurling from Zayne's so that he might put the little lamb out of sight.

"Wait-" this time it wasn't him. "Please."

A third "Thank you" is breathed out, this time airy, and soft.

Cool fingers wrapped around his wrist, grip as strong as it was cautious, and in one moment Greyson was turned back around to see Zayne looking right at him. Piercing green eyes seemed to read every single thought in his mind in that moment, just like they did when he first met Zayne, fresh out of residency. "Okay," he lowers his voice, moves his head a little closer. "I'll stay."

I just found a Zayne/Greyson fic I started in my drafts that I apparently forgot about.
