Okay so this is a fic I'm currently working on. It was birthed from an idea that I came up with in the comments of the work this one was inspired by.

I will be taking a lot of canon material from both the shows and comics, and mash them together to create a plot.

how your bond started and grew !

so lets say y'all met at the start of your UA years, were seated next to each other. he was being his pissy lil 15 year old self, sitting on the table, yelling, average cunt attitude. you sat next to him, and eventually told him to stfu. naturally, that both irked and surprised him because nobody had really ever done so. but it somehow drew him in.

over the next few months, a 'tolerance', in his words, formed. but it was in fact friendship, he just didn't want to admit so (emotionally constipated ass)

he'd pick you first in sparring, knowing your strength and agility would work into his (because let's face it, at this point he still would have a complex of not wanting to be around anyone 'weak').

more time goes on, and there's a bit more opening up between the two of you. more on your side, but he tries. you see sides of each other you didn’t know were there, but it only elevates reason for your mutual admiration and respect.

moving into the dorms was a big plus for you both. you had more time to talk, hang out, and train. yes, people suspected smth more was going on, which was fucking annoying. but you both knew there was no romance in things. you just genuinely like each other's company

the actual headcanons lolol:

it took a while to get to it, but physical affection doesn’t go left out in your friendship. this is one of the main reasons people think you're together, but you both see it with the fact that intimacy doesn’t need to be more than just general feelings of closeness. yes, he complains when you use him as a human heater or pillow. but you don't miss how he buries his face into you, at last letting himself relax. he feels safe with you, and probably only you to do so. you might cuddle in your dorms after a long school day, rest on each other on the bus, hold hands when anxious. anything small or specifically by preference.

you are not of exception to is bullshit and remarks, i'd like to preface. but he does make an effort to remember any boundaries or triggers you have. your friendship holds a lot of value to him, and he would not want to cause any dents. and if he does, he waits, gives space, then it's talked out.

taking down villains is one of y'all's favourite hobbies LMAOOO. if you're his friend, you can match his energy and speed. the shit eating grins you both share when admiring your handy work (beat to shit villain) don't go unnoticed by classmates or teachers.

he teaches you to cook better! you maybe already could, but his teaching also comes from a place of care. cooking and eating good keeps you going, in his eyes at least. but you also both go out for food a lot. and don't think he hasn't forcefully built your spice tolerance.

you either bond over fandoms or get each other into them. which is dangerous if you are also a collector. maximalism fears you two. but it also helps with conversation. he was izuku's childhood bsf, TRUST the bitch knows how to ramble.

he is not only loyal, but extremely fucking observant. to the point he can read you cover to cover. whether it's your mood, a habit/stim/tic you have, what makes you laugh, what your favourite song is at the moment- he knows you in a way that signs his devotion to you and the dedication he has to your friendship.

he has a specific level of trust in you, especially after opening himself up to you in terms of who he is behind his crass and crude demeanour, and his thoughts/experiences. he wants you both to feel like you never have to fear expressing yourselves when it's only you two.

y'alls most common hang outs would be: cooking, watching shitty reality shows and mocking the people in them, movie nights, training/sparring, cooking, studying, going on walks/hikes, and concerts.

he just picks you up for some reason? off the ground?? zero explanation?? sometimes just walks around holding u like a bag????

if you ever bicker, it goes on for so. fucking. long. everyone in the class A dorms is TIRED. but you both can't help but crack grins during it, because you actually enjoy seeing how creative you can get.

DEEP !! CONVERSATIONS!!! we've seen him go to bed at 8pm in the series, but i don’t actually think he sleeps then. you've shared many times where either of u couldn’t sleep and texted each other to come over to one of your dorms, and didn't get to sleep til 3 because of your yap session. it could start as just gossiping or ranting, but then it could get to what you think comes after death or some shit 🧌 or your fears, and why they're fears to begin with. but you both soon drift off, and scramble to get ready the next day LOLL

he very begrudgingly let you do his makeup one day, and from there decided to start wearing eyeliner! he wanted to for a while (emo) but only started when seeing himself with it boosted his confidence :))

at some point, you get matching piercings and/or tattoos. he made fun of you for being nervous but almost shat himself when he got his tongue pierced. as for tattoos, i see you both getting an explosion, and also something related to your quirk as well. small but easy to spot, like a badge of pride.

he is clingy. he ain't ever gonna admit it, but he is in fact a koala at points. but it's for the reason he finally found a person who's company and presence doesn’t require him to be on guard of snap. you have a level of patience with him, and that means more than he can show or say.

speaking of showing and saying, he's often gifting you small trinkets or things related to things you like :) also making you meals when you're down, even if it's that 'shitty unhealthy crap you always want'. seeing you smile is important to him. so is knowing you're okay.

would probably freak if you got injured badly. he finally found someone who gets him, and who's his number 1 when things get hard, and the thought of you being in pain or losing you makes his stomach hurt. but if it's not severe, he'll be there to attend to you if you don't go to Recovery Girl.

you will have either a shared agency or agencies close in location/affiliation when you become pro's. no matter rankings or ratings, you will cheer each other on and offer support whenever you can. not even climbing to the top will separate you from each other. also if it's your choices, you go on a LOT of missions together.

he genuinely loves you sm it's so sweet :( <333 he won’t say it often, but showing it though quality time, a gift, or acts of service, is a common occurrence. it's a mutual love language to look out for each other and always be there for each other if it's accessible. you're his platonic soulmate, even though he'd rather drink piss than say so. he might not want to spend his life with someone tied down, but you're a placement he's willing to maintain.

the marauders era characters have a LOT of different roles here. Regulus and Pandora are ballet dancers, Mary and Peter grew up together & met Remus in highschool in America and did music but now Mary and Remus are like what billie is to finneas? (also i made Remus southern) Alice is a ball of whimsy and the next artist of our time painting only in vibrant and swelling colours BUT has one singular monochrome painting and i'll explain later. Evan manages Mary and Remus and MINERVA, queen that she is, is basically the band's mother/manager. fluffy black brothers!! oh, and andromeda is dead. whaaaat who said that

i know what you're thinking "where the fuck is james?? lily?? barty??" heh heh WELL you're not gonna like this. lily is the villain here and not in a good way. it was a VERY toxic marylily and lily is the Casual girl (chappell roan) ANYWAAAY you're gonna see a LOT of that BUT she does have her redemption arc. i think. maybe.

barty broke up with sirius right before they went on tour, a couple months before the beginning of the fic. they grew up together, its very bittersweet, might give you heartburn. AGAIN redemption arc.

OR. Mary and Sirius break up with Lily and Barty respectively and have to figure out how to clean up the mess from here only to be slapped in the face with new love interests. Mary joins Sirius' band as an opener for the european leg of their world tour and along the way finds that to love someone isnt pouring all of yourself down their drain hoping they'll eventually be satisfied but to be respected, remembered and cared for. While Sirius slowly falls head over heels for an oblivious Remus who joined Mary on the tour. At every stop it becomes more and more obvious until finally Sirius, a rockstar, ends up performing a sweet love song completely different from his music style as a love confession with help of Peter.

All of them sound so interesting! I wanna know about “The Worst He Could Say is No”

"The Worst He Could Say is No" is actually a BillyJon fic! With unrequited feelings.

It's based on the premise that Damian, Billy, and Jon are going to the same high school in Fawcett City (and the same age).

Damian and Jon are new to the school and Billy was their assigned tour guide. Billy is nice, respectful, and adorable. That is where Jon's crush develops and Billy's problem starts. He, Damian, and Jon are on friendly terms and even share a one or two classes together.

Fast forward, Jon and Damain are visiting the watchtower with their fathers one day when they are left alone in a common room. Eventually, their conversation leads them to talk about school and Jon lets it slip that he has a crush on one of his classmates and Damian can immediately guess who.

Billy almost has a heart attack when he hears his own name mentioned in the watchtower. Not his hero name, but his name, his full name. He was only walking by the common room but immediately zooms back in to get full context as to why Superboy and Robin know that name when he puts the pieces together on their identities.

Billy is freaking out but trying not to show it at the moment. What makes it even worse is that the common room is filled with other heroes who are somewhat listening in on their conversation. And Superman might even be listening also. Superman might already know who Billy Batson is if his son ever talked to him about school and friends, which he most likely did.

Even worse, Jon's best friend is Damian, Batman's son, who could probably find everything there is on Billy in less than five minutes. What happens if they find out he's Captain Marvel? He wasn't entirely ready to reveal his identity. He didn't even know Jon liked him that way! What was he going to say?

Billy has never really thought about dating anyone. Would he accept Jon's feeling just because he's his friend? He really doesn't want to hurt Jon's feelings with rejection.

Fortunately, one thing he did find out was that Jon wasn't going to confess any time soon. Maybe he'll slowly slip out of his life before he gets the chance to.

Anyways, after that Billy sort of goes to great lengths to avoid him and tries to make Jon forget about him. He uses magic to disguise himself, tries to change his class schedule for any class they share and fails because it's the middle of the school year. He limits the number of times they interact, making excuses like he's too busy to hang out, and he almost threw himself out a window to avoid Jon when walking down the same hallway.

Jon notices Billy's avoidance towards him and he's heartbroken. He doesn't know what he did wrong to make his friend start avoiding him. Did he find out he liked him and got weirded out?

Jon confronts Billy one day and Billy doesn't run away. He apologizes to Jon and tells him he can't return his feelings towards him. When Jon asks how Billy found out, Billy decides to be honest with him and reveals his identity. After a long talk they become friends again. In the next school year, Jon meets Jay.

Ok, when it comes to romance, I have to say I both have some facts and headcanons, so to answer this I'll try and go with what I personally know so it's mostly headcanons here. ^^'

Billie: Billie is aroace, and considering she's rather neutral about her father being in love with Aristotle, chances are that they're simply not interested in romance, or flirting.

Aristotle: Based on drawings with Arthur, Aristotle was the loving, affectionate kind. He'd definitely "flirt" by giving compliments and assuring words. Oh, and he'd absolutely melt when kissed, I'm sure!

Arthur: Kinda unlike Billie, I think Arthur would be into romance, but unlike Aristotle's romantic self, he'd definitely try to impress his crush by feats of cool acts or cool outfits, making him appear kinda like a goof who's trying so hard to impress that it comes off as endearing.

Elaine: Elaine is actually in a relationship, and her plot revolves around it: if she loves you, she'll fight tooth and nail for you. I don't see her as much of a flirt, I picture her as someone who shows her love by acts of service, like being a kind eaar for your troubles, or support in your interests.

Percy: Very soft hearted and loving, Percy would absolutely be a most comforting and devoted partner. Something tells me he would be a bit shy to confess his feelings, or even flirt, but if he manages to, he'd mostly gush on everything he loves about you: he's very sweet!

Scrimshaw: Here's the thing with Scrim: he may flirt and charm people like it's nothing, but when it comes to commitment, he's a bit fickle, not one to really be tied down to a relationship. I think it'd take a while for him to actually be open to really consider you a partner. Keep trying, tho': it may happen someday! At the very least, he loves the attention.

Dutch: Dutch strikes me off as someone who's cordial, but not completely open about his real self: if he knows you, he's more willing to show his true personality, warts and soft side. He's very charismatic and knows how to charm, so I bet that, among the main cast, he'd be the biggest flirt of all, selling even the corniest of pick up lines with his southern flair.

Hayes: Poor dear would be a shy, nervous wreck around their crush, if they happened to catch feelings for someone. Usually it's not on their mind since they're very focused on their work, but when it happens, oh, it takes their whole heart, but would be shy to confess, or even flirt. They might need help from their crush to fully confess, and if that happens, oh, such a couple would be the sweetest around!

Basile: He may be gruff on the outside, but as seen with his wife Pom, you can tell he loves someone by showing his soft side, smiling and just being very sweet. Not sure if he'd be a flirt, tho'.

Barnaby: Ash said this:

So, yeah, in his own ways, Barnaby is VERY romantic: if he likes you in a romantic way, he's very affectionate. Not sure if he would flirt, but he definitely would give his partner a lot of hugs and nuzzles. whether prompted or not. And would absolutely stand close to you during any party (that he'd most likely organized to your liking). Of course, if you want full commitment, you'd have to die, but it'd be worth it to stay with him forever, right?

Fantoccio: From what I've seen Fantoccio doesn't open up easily with people, but knowing his love for theatre, I bet that if he loves you he'd flirt by doing great gestures of love, like a Shakesperean ode to your beauty and charm, or offering you your favorite flowers. He'd also be more happily willing to show his interests and hyperfixations, if he trusts that you won't make fun of him. So, yeah, it may take a while, but when it happens, he's 100% devoted.

Dimitri: Not sure how this goof would act when it comes to romance, but something tells me that he'd definitely try to flirt by coming with hyped up corny lines... only for his tail to reveal what he thinks of his crush, thus making him flail and fluster all over. Very awkward, but surprisingly endearing, in a way.

Louis headcanons!

I think it's kind of a fandom headcanon in general/arguably just canon, but I see him as by far the least suicidal and the closest to mentally healthy of the brothers. He's still got issues though.

While I don't object to seeing him other ways (you know I very much enjoy your Sherlouis fic) in my own fics and headcanons he's always entirely aroace. I really like the idea that he is entirely fulfilled by the relationships he has with his friends and family, and they all love him back so much, and he just doesn't need or want anything else.

He just...he's just really awesome. I know I'm a broken record about this, but I think he is THE natural leader of the three. I think he is strong and smart and brave and practical and inspires loyalty and fits perfectly into his position as M. I think he knows when to challenge Mycroft and when to obey him: and I think he knows when he needs to let his own subordinates challenge him and when he needs to insist on simple obedience. I think that balance allows him to ensure the absolute best outcomes on all missions, to make sure everyone is as safe as they can possibly be.

Similar note, I firmly headcanon that he and Mycroft became friends during the timeskip. I think they bonded over quiet grief, but also that they are just similar enough to get along. I think they sometimes just hang out reading in the Diogenes Club together. Louis lowkey ships MycAl, because if he has to get the annoying Holmes as a brother-in-law he might as well get the cool one too.

I don't think he's inherently as neat a person as he might seem. I think he's thoughtful of Albert's needs when he's around, and that like Liam, he hasn't given much thought to his own likes and dislikes pre-timeskip, as his thoughts about his barren room at the start of The Remains suggest. He's also managing basically a pack of overgrown toddlers, so he has to be really tidy just to keep up. But I like to think his own space, once he's invested in living and when he doesn't feel it will unsettle his brothers, has a cozy lived-in clutter to it. Not dirty, just...comfortable.

Post-timeskip he secretly actually kind of likes Sherlock but shhh don't tell anybody about it.

I think he and John will get along really well if they get to know each other.

I also think he and Billy will get along really well when they get to know each other, though I think it might kinda surprise them both!

i also believe that no one should be forced to explain why they are the way that they are. this means i dont believe in forcing people to disclose their trauma to justify their mental disorders.

i also believe that no label or set of labels we come up with can completely describe all of human experience. i think that labels have power and it is possible to misuse them in a way that is harmful, but i also think that in an ideal world, we wouldn't need labels at all. i believe that some people will always have "conflicting" labels by some standard, and that the debate over what counts as a "conflicting" label is a little bit silly overall. in other words, i think the movement to coin microlabels/neolabels is an exercise in futility, but i also believe that it is worthwhile, because the discourse it causes is valuable and it occasionally produces helpful and good words.

that being said, i identify as transfem, nonbinary, polysexual, and grey-aroace. and also some other words, like gender nonconforming (gnc) and queer. you can call me some or none of those things depending on your definition and what you prefer. it will not bother me as long as you're not being an asshole. i made a post explaining why and how i use each of those labels, and you can find it here.

frrrr personally i do headcanon peter as asexual but not aromantic(i have an original character of mine that i ship him with), also he actually has a personality!!! omg!! but nah i didnt used to hc peter as ace but i started recently. lemme explain my hc of peter real quick.

first of all, he's a huge drama kid whos good enough to be the star in every play but the "hot" guy who cant act for shit always gets it which really pisses him off. also he plays the drums(i do not take credit for this idea cos i got it form tcoptp) but he isnt in music class bc he started when he was in in primary school and would js be so far ahead of everyone else. also he is like super loyal(ironic ik but i never write canon compliant fics so it's fine) but hes got a really loose tongue so cant always keep a secret, but hes just doesnt think before speaking, hes not malicious.

he was also a huge people pleaser in primary school and at the start of of high school but in like year 8 he was like fuck this and now he seems like a pushover so people get surprised when he goes off at them when they try to walk all over him.

i also hc that after he first started dating his gf they yknow *did the deed* and he was like completely repulsed. he went through a few stages where he was like "maybe i dont really like her" or "maybe it'll get better cos this was our first time" and "holy shit, what's wrong with me" which is a sad one cos theres nothing wrong with him. but eventually he talks to remus about it and remus already had kinda guessed that peter might be ace bc of past comments he'd made. so remus is like just kinda listening and nodding and lets peter get all his feelings out.

personally as soon as i talk to somebody about something thats confusing or frustrating me they dont even need to say anything and i kinda js end up answering my own question or figure out a solution by myself.

so he kind of just ends up realising and is like "OH" and so he does a bunch of research and a LOT of am i ace quizzes and is eventually quite sure of it.

and mind you this was like half a year into his relationship so my man was nervous like he made it into a really bad thing in his head and thought that everybody(especially his gf) would hate him. and he thought she'd break up with him and no one will ever date him again. but eventually remus hypes him up enough to tell his gf and shes from a traditional family but is like insanely open minded even though her family isnt so she hadnt heard of asexuality before but he explians it to her and shes soooo accepting and understanding and i love that for them(her parents are bitches about it when they find out tho after peter and their daughter get married)

I have spoken briefly on this before, but I think perhaps it is time we stop making Peter a prude, or unable to find a date, or "a late bloomer". I'm really fed up of regularly seeing posts saying these things with no explaination or supporting headcanon for why.

I think if you want to make him asexual or aroace for legitimate reasons then that's fine, as someone on the ace spectrum I love seeing good representation, but so often it feels like people do it because they can't think of anyone to ship him with because they don't want to ship someone with the fat kid. It's not because he turns bad later, because he's not bad during the Hogwarts years. But it is consistently Peter, someone who is not conventionally attractive, who is portrayed as some undesired sexless character who betrayed his friends because he couldn't get laid or have some great love like them.

Guess what, fat people date too!! Fat people are capable of having interests that aren't related to food or proving their worth through other ways. "He's fat but it's okay because he's really good at chess". NO. Peter can want to date, Peter can participate in talking about sex, Peter can have a partner and it not be a big deal that "him of all people" pulled someone.

If you don't think that this is a genuine problem in the fandom then you might need to re-evaluate. This is not the representation plus-size people deserve.

"But Lily is made plus-size and gets put in ships, plus-size Lily is hot". Plus-size Lily is still usually drawn in a way that is acceptably fat by society's standards. She's curvy with thick thighs and an hourglass figure, with a jawline and a small stomach. Give me fics of her an apron belly and a double chin and a realistic waist where James or Mary or Pandora or anyone still thinks she is the hottest shit. Please. We deserve this.
