The Bad Batch’s version of the GAR’s dress uniforms is basically tuxedo T-shirts, whatever pants are the cleanest (actual cleanliness variable), and whichever boots have the least amount of dirt, blood, duct tape, and other assorted unidentifiable stains on them.

Echo was not told about this until they were required (as in could absolutely not get out of it, no matter how hard they tried — and they tried) to show up somewhere in dress uniforms. He was struggling to make the standard GAR dress uniform fit his prosthetics. (It wasn’t going to work.) Wrecker shoved a bundle of clothes at him and told him that they’d fit with the biggest grin on his face.

When asked why this was their “dress” uniform, Hunter explained, “Well, they didn’t say we couldn’t, so we did it to see if they would say anything. They didn’t directly complain, so we just kept doing it. Now, we’ve got a bet going on how long we can keep this up before they make us wear actual dress uniforms.”

Echo needed no further explanations. He simply put it on. (Wrecker was correct. Everything did fit.) It didn’t take him long to up the ante and cut the sleeves off the shirt. (The rest of the Batch followed suit . . . for reasons. Echo never felt more accepted.)

The one time Echo was loaned back to the 501st after he joined the Bad Batch involved an occasion where dress uniforms were required. He didn’t even think twice in showing up in his new dress uniform. (He contemplated turning his shirt into a crop top, but ran out of time to do that.) He spent the entire time being the most gleeful little chaos gremlin this side of Coruscant.

Rex isn’t sure if he’s proud of Echo or if he regrets letting him join the Bad Batch because of this.

cassie sandsmark star jorts from issue #23 of yj98 you have always been famous to me

I made these jorts in 22 hours over the course of 3 days! pure willpower via my love for cassie sandsmark because I am a total novice in sewing and i am still not very good at it. (i really just combined various tutorials and improvised on measurements and then regretted improvising measurements later on).

I thrifted these jeans last year for cassie vibes (even though I had already made her star-spangled red bellbottoms at that point) and wasn't a fan of how they fit + I couldn't figure out how to style them. I enjoyed sewing in the panels to flare them out and then everything else (cargo pockets and sewing in stars) was hell <3

the pockets are not placed well (nor are they particularly well-made), the hem is uneven, the stars are quite janky (and I think I stitched on too many), I probably stabbed my fingers a million times, and I am so in love with them

Atticus Clothing - "Feet" shirt

atticus is a brand founded by mark hoppus and tom delonge of blink-182 (listen to blink-182 on spotify and apple music), and one that joe wore frequently in the early 2000s (with pete, patrick, and andy wearing the brand regularly as well). fall out boy appeared as a featured band on the brand's website, and the header on the homepage often rotated different bands, including fall out boy:

the particular style joe wears above is the "feet" design, and can be spotted in the dead on arrival music video (VERY low quality screenshot, but it is a music video from 2003 which only goes up to 480p, so)

Easily one of my favorite things about Zoro and Luffy (not necessarily in a shipping context, though *I* enjoy them in a shipping context) is the way they seem so different on a surface level - this whimsical sunshine boy captain and his big, stoic, serious right hand man - but when you actually get to know them, they’re pretty much two halves of the same weird goddamn idiot

Specifically, I love that whenever Luffy is doing / saying something totally absurd, there’s a not insignificant chance that we’re about to cut to Zoro, whether he’s two steps away or halfway across the island, doing the exact same unhinged shit, and it’s so goddamn funny every time???
