Even More Silly and Irreverent SF Headcanons
Warning: This glorified shitpost contains a heavy dose of MLM (Morons loving Morons)
EDIT: So apparently in the Spanish Dub for SF Charlie's girlfriend is named Zoey and I made this post before that info became more well-known and prior I dubbed her as Susan....Zoey is a cute name OMG
This one time Charlie, Dj Spitz, Glep, Mr. Frog, Jennifer, Shrimp and one reluctant Alan all decided to spend one April Fools day split into street gangs competing to see who could prank the most people within 24 hours before everyone involved was tossed in the county jail until Pim and a pissed off Zoey had to bail them all out the morning after.
Simon S. Salty tried to bribe his way into the Pearly Gates of Heaven with coupons at his shoddy restaurant but God was so offended by the mere idea of eating his slop that he told St. Peter to press the big red button to open the trapdoor under Salty’s feet to H-E-double hockey sticks so he can go peddle his 2-bit McDonalds knock off to those who truly deserve it. Eat up Satan ya big red loser!!!
Pim is actually much stronger than he looks, he can open pickle jars with one turn of the wrist and he can carry Charlie over his head while running a mile without breaking a sweat (or his spine for that matter).
Charlie bamboozled the entire internet by editing The Mr. Frog Show wiki by adding fake episodes with a source that lead to the famous RickRoll video, only for everyone to read him the riot act when he accidentally exposed himself. Hah! That idiot.
One hot summer day Glep spat on the sidewalk and the spit droplet just sizzled and evaporated into steam….from that point onward Glep has been trying to convince his co-workers that he can literally spit fire and when trying to prove such a claim he spat into Charlie’s coffee.
Pim and Zoey had to bail Charlie out of jail once again for attempted murder (See the HC above for the reason why).
Mr Boss was cursed into turning into an owl beast in his sleep and he has to take a potion once a day to keep him normal, hence why he was freaking out at the end of S2E1.
Alan wears a skin-tight red jumpsuit under his neck and tie and underneath all that he has goofy-print boxers with a smiley face patch on the seat.
Pim is still friends with Jennifer even after the initial mix up when he introduced her to Shrimp. She gives him special “Thank You” coffee and treats in the house every year on her and Shrimp’s anniversary.
Smormu does makeup tutorials and travel vlogs on YouTube.
Charlie found out that Pim and Susan both crush on him and decided: “Why not?” Thus was the beginning of a beautiful polycule.
James what super jealous and was ready to reap his revenge until Charlie pulled a Saitama and punched James in the nose so hard that he whimpered away like a pitiable little biyatch!!
Glep, Pim and Smormu went to Miku Expo cosplaying as The Triple Baka Squad (Pim called dibs on Miku).
Alan attends Beatnik Poetry Night with Glep on the bongos.
Smormu started dating Dj Spitz and lemme tell ya he is VIOLENTLY protective of her, Whoever killed Canon!Smormu wouldn’t stand a chance against this guy.

HC: When she went to her first Miku Expo, Ichika was meant to go with her parents, but last minute her mom got sick.
Well, she doesn't remember it clearly (she remembers her mom's friend and her daughter took her instead), but the person who ended up taking her was Kanade's mother. Kanade tagged along since Ichika's dad decided to stay home to take care of her mom.
Neither of them remember having met as kids, they just both have this extremely vague memory of a Miku Expo where their mom's friend took them and their mom's friend daughter to see Hatsune Miku live.
I AM SOBBING. THANK YOU. THIS MEANS THE WORLD TO ME. I AM ACTUALLY CRYING RN I'M NOT JOKING THIS IS BEAUTIFUL -🦈

Colorful Corner went live today. I, unfortunately, misses the actual stream. But I have seen the vod, so before we get into what's happening in November, here's what's remaining for October:
Our next Cheerful Carnival starts tomorrow. This event is MMJ, Shizuku, focus event with a limited gacha featuring Shizuku, Haruka and Airi.
Alongside our Cheerful Carnival, we have a Halloween login campaign and show!!
This has been going on for a few days now, but we are receiving gifts to celebrate Miku Expo 2024 Europe. We will also be celebrating another Miku Expo (Miku Expo 2024 New Zealand and Australia) in November.
And lastly for October, our mystery song has been added to the game. It's available in the in game music shop.

Given how “unique” a Miku concert would be I’m surprised Crypton themselves didn’t send some team members or equipment personally to make sure things are set up right bc other than some performers that might hide their face/wear disguises idk how many usual concert locations have something prepped for “holo” projections compared to Japan and their Vtuber boom (although I’d rather buy a plushie from a booth but hopefully at least the theatres would have good sound quality)
Sucks for any workers scrambling and getting hate/hope it doesn’t affect the sales of any other indie ppl performing their concerts
The weird thing is it worked before. I went to miku Expo 2018 in cologne and 2020 in Berlin. Both times it was an actual hologram concert with the same band as magical Mirai. Neither of these two locations had a concert like this before, I'm pretty sure. All of the equipment must've been toured around with thew Miku Expo crew. Going against advertising and expectations (basically all of these concerts, and like all of them in recent years were holographic) without notifying buyers beforehand and also not even afterwards when people keep asking is, to put it lightly, customer unfriendly at best and a scam at worst.
I arrived a bit late in 2018 since I only had standard so I don't know how it was there, but in 2020 people went around giving out free stickers and badges, or general stuff they got from other miku events. One of them seemed to be a huge meiko fan so when she gifted me something I gave her the meiko badge I got from the random gacha button bags. Stuff like that really made it feel like a community coming together, so reading that giving out badges, stickers, etc. wasn't allowed this year, even for people who specifically got an okay from cfm and also got their stuff stolen from is surreal.
I had vip in 2020 and as far as I know everyone got their vip merchandise, which doesn't seem to be the case this year, which makes no sense because you would know how many people at this location have the vip ticket. Another thing I read is that vip ticket holders were supposed to be let in earlier for merchandise and the concert hall but it didn't happen, which also worked flawlessly before in my experience.
Merchandise being not enough for everyone is sadly not new, I was in line for it in 2018 and when I was three people away the store people shouted they were all sold out, which was very much a bummer but I thankfully bought the penlight and t-shirt beforehand in the online store so it wasn't too bad for me and as I said I was quite late to the so definitely in the latter half of the people that got in. Still should've been more but I would chalk it up to being the first concert in Europe and them not having expected such a huge crowd maybe. How this is still the case 6 years later and in America where there were concerts way before 2018 is beyond me.
I don't know if this is because of crunchyroll (it probably is tho) but I can't say cfm is innocent either since they partnered with them and it's their job to ensure everything is up to standard, which clearly didn't happen.
For me, I was really happy to hear there was going to be a Europe one again, especially since I really loved it, it is such a magical experience so the last year's being online only made me super sad since it isn't the same in the slightest, but seeing it's also partnered with crunchyroll I decided against it. It's because I loved it so much that it really saddens me to see what is currently going on (also probably why I wrote so much, very sorry). Miku Expo is one of the best, magical and insane events you can go to as a vocaloid/piaproloid fan and I wish for all fans, people who've been in the Fandom longer and already have been to Miku Expo, and newer fans that didn't have the chance yet, to have that same experience but this is not it. This being someone's first miku expo experience is just a sad thing to think about considering what a massive downgrade the experience is. I hope there will be official statements soon and that the people who are currently experiencing it still have a good time.
#Sorry for long post#I sadly have a lot of opinions when it comes to vocaloid related stuff#Being in a fandom for almost 10 years does things to you#Miku expo#Miku Expo 2024#My post#Long post#ask

Can someone give me some love please
(Don’t encourage me to live like I’m not doing that
But I see so lots of lifestyle jirais or yanderes or whatever type of person piques my interest beg for post interaction and they actually get a little bit.
I assume I don’t get it because I’m not aesthetic or beautiful or relatable or constant enough.
But that’s not me, what I want to post is something meaningful. Like vent art or characters or scripts. I’m sure it’s narcissistic thinking but I believe some of my imaginary conversations could actually hold merit to not just me. And the way I describe my body and physical feelings or whatever. I’m terrible at everything, and you can see it clearly with what I currently try to post. So I don’t know where I’m getting this from. But like, would I really rather this fake deep stuff then yelling and kicking and screaming? I see people do that here all the time and get notes. But I’m worried it attracts the wrong sort of people/I don’t want to be seen as violent/it’s stupid to use that energy in such a way/i dont want it to then become an expectation. But choosing the creative way out is much harder and visibly no one cares because it’s not good.
I don’t even know why I want notes. I’ve become one of those disgusting phone zombies. I hate it. I just want what I produce to be good. It’s not good to me and it’s not good to other people. And nothing related to this is going to bring him back. And then there’s what exactly I am supposed to say about him in general-
No one likes anything I do. I’m not sharing anything I have done in the past so that’s probably why but then I’m just leeching off of what I used to be. I’ve really, really regressed. I’m just going to keep getting more and more vile. But then I think saying that jinxes it. But then I think it gets me closer to the death that I want, if I drive myself so far that I can’t deal with it anymore and silence everything.
And then I think, is this not the worst it has ever felt? This is the longest he’s been gone? Am I living to spite that? My body is so grown and fat and feminine and it’s just going to get worse? I went to miku expo after waiting for four years and didn’t feel a fucking thing? I think hate all my friends? The exams have been and gone? I could say a million more things about him but I don’t want to make it like it’s all his fault? It is all entirely related to him though? If it isn’t, I don’t love him anymore?)
Come back, so I can be me again.
I wasn’t even me when you were here before. Last time I was me was when we were happy together, right? I’m not even sure about that anymore.
Fp could say, “I don’t think we’ve ever been happy together”
I’d say “think of individual moments” “though those kinda end up happening all the time”
I just love you, my thin, flat, double edged sword. Seen so much slaughter, convinced it’s your doing. Yet You’re not the only sword. Interpret that however you please.
Maybe that would be not him, instead, the idea of him, my perception of him, my him. I love run on sentences. I can’t wield him and I can’t make him silence me. And I’m the one hurting myself, because I’m attention seeking and emo. Nothing is ever his fault. Can’t be here, he’s not even here.
I’ve even regressed in that-

Hello friends it's time for another monthly upd- WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT'S BEEN EIGHT MONTHS? Uh hello! Nice to see you all again. I definitely didn't completely forget to give an update or anything, nope. Wouldn't be me. Lotta stuff has happened in the last few months and fortunately it's all been good! March through to August was mostly the same, just getting to chill with friendos and generally just have a good time But last month I had the absolute privilege of getting to travel to America and actually get to meet some of those people so... that was really, really cool. Ate lots of good food, went to my first aquarium, got involved in a theatre against my own will and so, so much more in just the week I was there. The only complaint I have is that I had to leave. Couldn't I have just stayed there for a bit longer?
This month was Miku Expo in London! And it marks the third time she's been in the UK (and we're also 3 for 3 for not getting to hear Luka Luka Night Fever, sorry Matt.) I'm still waiting for Magnet or World's end Dancehall, but they'll have to play them eventually right?
Last important thing is that I found somebody who makes me very happy, and I can only hope I do the same for them c: (I know you're probably reading this, I love you! <3)
'til next time, friends! (Which will hopefully not be somewhen next year)

Going to Miku Expo as a someone who's not a vocaloid fan
Hi!! I went to the Miku Expo last night!! I wanted to do a fun little retrospective on what happened! No hate obviously, these are just things I've noticed. Just a lot of rambling ahead LOL
So a bit of a disclaimer: I'm not a vocaloid fan, I never have been. The main reason I went was because it was my bestie's birthday and I wanted to tag along. Even though I wasn't going for the music, I love concerts and ofc I want to hang out with my bestie. Also this will be kind of relevant, but the concert was at the Prudential Center and I went there not even a month ago to see another concert (specifically Sabaton opening for Judas Priest).
First thing I want to mention, this place was PACKED- Like both merch lines were wrapped around the building. The Judas Priest concert wasn't nearly as packed and the merch lines were nothing compared to the Miku Expo.
Me and my friend sat in one of the sections closest to the stage, so the idols on stage looked a bit flat. I'm not sure if this would have looked different if they used the hologram screen since I've never been to a hologram concert before, but it was definitely something I noticed. I also noticed how they looked to take up only a little bit of the screen which was kind of jarring? Again I've never been to a concert like this before (most of the recent concerts I've been to have been in small venues that are mostly standing room) so I don't know if that was to make things more immersive like she's actually on stage? If I were to do the animations, I would have made the models bigger so they took more attention and could be seen more clearly from farther away. I think the only time where most of the screen was filled was the one duet between Kaito(?) and Meiko(?)(I think that was their names idk shit about vocaloid).
I know a lot of the hardcore Miku fans were complaining about the screen, but I honestly didn't find anything wrong with it? Besides the models looking a bit flat and being kind of small, it didn't seem like a huge deal.
During the show I found myself more watching the background visuals, the band, and even the crowd more than I watched the stage. Personally I loved a lot of the visuals even if I didn't have the context of why they were relevant to the songs. I remember during one Miku song all the lights were CYMK and that really scratched my brain especially when they faded between colors. I also loved watching the band, they were so into it (especially Vixen's Diary, she was adorable) and I always love seeing how bands preform together. I wasn't expecting them to do a band introduction, I really enjoyed the fact that they did.
My friend taught me about light stick culture and honestly it might be my favorite thing- Not only did I love seeing all the lights in the crowd (even if it took my attention bc of ADHD) but also seeing everyone change their colors to fit their favorite idols I just- that is so fucking CUTE we need light stick culture at more concerts (or, just as someone who was dangerously close to a mosh pit before and who hates being touched by strangers, replace mosh pits with light sticks)
I heard from other people who were in more crowded areas that some of the fans were rowdy and misbehaving, but I don't think I saw that as much? Then again we were also sitting in an area that had a few open seats, so that definitely played a part. I definitely felt a difference in atmosphere though, since I felt like the crowd was very engaged while I didn't feel as interested. It felt like the opposite of the Sabaton concert, since there the crowd didn't feel very engaged while I was SUPER excited (I blame that on a bad band pairing, since while Sabaton and Judas Priest are both metal, they're two different subgenres with two different appeals). If I had to compare it to anything, it would be like my first Powerwolf concert, since it was their first time in the USA and everyone was super excited to see them. I don't know if there's been Miku Expos in the USA before, but I definitely felt that same kind of energy/sentiment.
There's also the transitions between songs that I remember someone else saying they felt awkward and I can't help but agree. A lot of the other concerts I've been to the bands would speak in between songs, whether it was hyping up the next song or just making silly jokes. I would have loved to see the vocaloids talking to each other and interacting on stage. Not only would it keep fans hyped and not make the crowd die down between songs, but it would still give the band a chance to prepare for the next song. Also maybe for songs where Miku would change outfits, I would have loved to see her magical girl transform between outfits.
I definitely feel like this is going to be a hot take, but as someone who's not a vocaloid fan, I'll say it: I wouldn't go to a Miku concert again, it just feels like a concert you go to so you can say "I've been to a Miku concert!" Usually when I go to a concert and I don't know who is preforming (usually the case for the opening band), I find myself walking away with a new band to listen to but I don't think I felt the same this time. I don't think there were any objectively bad songs, I just think it's the classic case of "this music isn't my taste". While I didn't enjoy the music, I did enjoy the vibe there. I got to meet up with friends, trade little trinkets, and have a good time regardless of the music. Anyways I hope everyone enjoyed the show, Miku is the best AI, and I will treasure the trinkets I got forever :D

Miku Expo 2024 Chicago review: loved the crowed. Loved cheering for the big Miku plushie before the show. Merch line was insane, didn’t even try lol. Shout out to the guy who told us we actually had vip tickets. Beautiful cosplays everywhere
the screen broke immersion a bit, it felt they were dancing in the void instead of on stage. The band members were super buff and attractive and they looked like they were having the time of their life, ya love to see it
they gave my man Kaito two whole songs!! Hell yeah!! Hell yeah!! On that note I didn’t recognize as many songs this time but that’s because I’m old and behind the times
I had a magic moment when the confetti cannons went off. Bucket list moment for me right there, I’ll carry that with me forever 💕💕💕
All in all I’d do that again and again but I wish they’d bring the holograms back
#I feel one million miles away#Had a great time. Loved seeing Miku and everyone again#Childish war was amazing live#I gotta eat and showerrr

sooo it’s been a couple of days since I went to Miku Expo and like… I think I’m still reeling from the fact that I actually went since I’ve been listening to vocal synth music since my childhood and I never expected that I’d actually be able to go to one of these concerts?
some thoughts and highlights under the cut!
the show I went to was sold out (in D.C.) and I stood in line + waited for like, 6 or 7 hours? but I had so much fun that it was worth it!
I helped some people put film inside their penlights, and it was nice chatting with them while we were waiting!
some groups of elderly people who were hanging out in the area were confused about what was going on and after asking some concert-goers to explain they started laughing LMAO (some puzzled passerby’s asked me too and I just said “oh it’s a J-pop concert!” because I didn’t want to go into what Vocaloid was in full detail haha)
there were so many cute cosplays there; I saw a lot of people in Miku’s Vampire outfit and was surprised to also see an Oliver cosplayer, there were also some dressed as Project Sekai characters too!
before the show, every time someone in the audience held up a Miku plush, everyone around them would cheer and hold up their penlights
some people also brought Miku plushes that were bald and whenever they held up those, everyone would shout “BALD, BALD, BALD!” (and I heard someone say “MY EYES!!!”)
the songs the crowd were the loudest for were Miku, Vampire, and World is Mine (it was… so loud during World is Mine LOL)
Kaito fans were being Kaito fans when he did his solo (ILY Kaito fans you’re so iconic) and there was also a notable amount of hype when Luka’s solo finally happened since it took until halfway through the show to get to her
I know the setlist was quite controversial when it was released online but I honestly liked hearing it in person, I feel like the band really elevated the experience (kudos to them!), I really liked how they played for Literacy and Hyper Reality Show in particular
and maybe a hot take but the screen wasn’t… that bad to me? but that was also because I was in the very front and the venue put lights around the stage as well, so I may be biased
#ness yells#and like#my positive experience with the concert doesn’t erase all of the controversies that happened along the way#I’m aware that people were heavily dissatisfied with the merch sales#and lack of communication#I personally got my merch online and without issue. and generally kept an optimistic outlook since this was something I’ve always wanted to#go to! especially after there being no NA concerts for years#I definitely think a lot of things could’ve been handled better though. so don’t just assume that I’m like#‘wow this must’ve been a perfect experience for everyone involved!’#bc I’m not ignorant to the backlash. I read it all dw 😭#but I just wanted to share some nice memories I made#if you even care LOL#ough and also like#this is making me really want to make more miku fanart omg 😭#IT WILL HAPPEN I PROMISE I HAVE PLANS TO!!!#I love vocaloid and vocal synths sm it’s like 90% of the music I listen to
