I said don't peak C Long, you suck. Oscar/Lando/Liam/Logan x Streamer! Reader
Plot: You are a streamer and competitive Valorant Player for Fnatic, in the off season Lando reaches out after you win Valorant Champion's to teach him how to play as he's getting bored of Fortnite.
A/N: This is very Valorant heavy, if you do not like gaming proceed with caution as you may be a little confused but the good vibes are there!
You were part of the Fnatic Valorant team, in 2023 you'd helped them win back to back championships for Lock//In and VCT Masters. You were offered your seat at the start of 2023.
You were already very close with your IGL Boaster, being from the same area helped. But after meeting your other teammates, Derke, Chronicle and Alfajer you guys became amazing when playing together.
It was hard being the only woman on the team, you'd come from Game Changers being on an all female team to all of these men. However your stats were high and you were a massive part of the team.
You were a complete bombshell, people knew you were good from your IGL role and seeing you compete previously but Fnatic really lucked out having you on their team.
You often hung out with him and his girlfriend Yinsu. You felt bad when they'd offer you to crash their date and often it took hours of convincing you to come with them before you did.
But they got busier, and your other Valorant friends who you either couldn't see because they were on the other side of the world or they were also extremely busier you started to get into a bit of a slump.
You'd go to practice with the team, the only fun and exciting part of your day, before going choosing between a cafe, restaurant or bar to spend your evening in, hoping someone or a group of people would come up and offer you to join them on their nightly adventures.
After an extremely good start to 2024 with another Championship trophy, you'd been saying to stream how you wanted to start playing more games and make a YouTube account for IRL you...
They jumped at the offer, begging you in chat to do both. Apart from Valorant, which of course was your main game as a professional player, you played other games at the request of your fans. Sometimes being small niche indie games where you would just be able to chill with music and answer their burning questions or sometimes you'd play throw back games, like Minecraft, GTA San Andreas, Resident Evil 4 which would often be pretty chaotic but fun none the less.
You'd even once played FIFA... which was awful and you would not do well as a professional football player or a professional FIFA player. You were so bad that actual footballers had reached out to you joking around with how they'd stay clear of you on the pitch.
But it was when you were asked to play the new F12024 game that you looked at your chat as if they were crazy. The sim set up's were crazy expensive, not that you couldn't afford that. Of course you could. But you didn't want it to be a waste of room or parts for what could potentially be a one time use.
This is how Lando Norris ended up in your chat. He'd spent the start of his 2023 winter break playing Fortnite with AngryGinge, and even off stream in his downtime between races he would often still be playing it.
However, by the time summer break rolled around it was getting stale, and Tarkov was too. He needed something new, and Max kept trying to get him to play Valorant, Oscar did too saying it was a mix of Call of Duty and Overwatch and it was very fun to play.
So of course he did his research, being free he downloaded it anyway. It was free even if it sat there and never got played it wasn't like he was loosing anything. After doing research and watching some gameplay, he'd fallen asleep and the YouTube algorithm took him on his journey to you.
He slept peacefully despite the change in volume, gun sounds, voice lines and all the talking behind the videos that YouTube were throwing at him. When he woke up, he was graced with your, in his bold opinion, stunning face. He watched as you played, it was seemingly a montage of your best moments. The camera would often change from you being in a bedroom, to a stadium to a different room.
He was so so intrigued he just had to go down a deep dive of you content. He spent nearly a whole Tuesday looking into your content, from your old stream vod's to the Vlog's on your IRL channel. You just had this personality he assumed would draw anyone in.
I mean who wouldn't like you, you were young, funny, absolutely gorgeous and kind.
So he reached out to you.
At first you didn't see the DM and follow request as you rarely opened Instagram, but after winning your second Cup in 2024 and having spent time in America with some of your friends it was time to get posting.
Lando Norris... you were confused by the name. These day's anyone with some cash could have a blue tick, so you looked over his profile and was surprised to find an athlete.
An athlete in your DM's wasn't uncommon, but a young hot one asking for a Valorant coach for him and his racing friends... now that was rare.
You replied instantly, the thought of being able to hang out with new people and gain some friends was exciting to you. Lando asked if you would be willing to meet up with him, he thought discord was a little awkward and cringey for the first time meeting someone. He happened to be in London so it was sort of perfect.
You met, and he was a nice as you expected. He let you talk about everything you wanted to, never interrupting, never trying to one up your stories... just listening and adding his input where necessary. But you let him do the same, your eyes lighting up when you saw his passion for his career in racing and how highly he spoke of it.
It was just incredible. The way he drove round all of those corner at insane speeds that you'd never dare reach in your Audi TT! And when he went into the behind the scenes you were even more in wonder.
When it came to talk about coaching him in Valorant, at first he'd made a joke about learning so Quadrant could have a Valorant team and beat Fnatic in championships, to which you'd retorted saying Fnatic would become a constructor in F1 and make the fastest car on the grid.
However, he was being partially serious. He wanted to move quadrant forward and with all the announcements they had made at the start of the year, it was time to do more things that would get peoples attention from different places.
He was thinking of a Quadrant team of well of course 5 people with some reserves. Max was the best right now, not close to your Immortal level, peaking Radiant. But he was now in Plat territory whereas Lando dreaded to think of where he would be.
"So you want us to play, with your friends Oscar, Liam and Logan. In a 5 stack on stream..." you'd asked and he nodded enthusiastically. You'd grinned just as enthusiastic.
However, right now you were in the middle of crying from both laugher and frustration. They all played games, however you didn't know that none of them had played Valorant.
When you first started your chat was going crazy, not only was this great because your fans were seeing you coach, but it brought in all the F1 fans so they could watch their fave drivers play games.
"So, how about just a small little warm up with a deathmatch?" you asked them all, and the silence that came after was deafening.
"Guys?" you asked with an awkward laugh, checking you weren't accidently muted and talking to yourself.
"Sorry Y/N your gonna have to explain each thing to us" Liam laughed.
"Okay, Deathmatch is where you kill anyone and everyone. Might be hard for you guys, as it will be really mixed elo!" you explain. However doing a deathmatch just had them complaining, only Oscar and Liam had managed to kill you. Oscar having decent aim from his time on COD and catching you of guard and Liam being a sneaky rat, coming up behind you and knifing you.
"Okay that was so unfair... you've got like look at that she got to 40 in no time... that was the quickest game mode ever!" Logan complained, salty with his 5 kills.
"How about a team death match. We are all on the same team then, first team to 100 wins, so we are all winners that way" you smile, hoping they'd prefer it more.
Which they did, you chilled out a little, letting them practice and get the gist of things while giving them pointers, when Lando flashed you with his ability or when Liam chucked a grenade at you. Or littler things like their movement, and how to not sweep the floor with their cross hair. But it was hard coaching when you couldn't see everything.
"Okay, lets move onto some swift plays?" you ask and a chorus of agreements dound through the mic. You explained the game mode to them while you were all in agent select before explaining how a good team looks. It was hard where 3 of them only had the standard characters. You settled on Lando as Pheonix, Logan as Sage, and Liam as Sova. Oscar only had three other characters unlocked being Iso, the newest agent, KAY/0 because in his words 'cool robot guy' and then of course Skye because she was Australian. He ended up picking Skye which left you locking in Omen to smoke as you didn't trust any of them to smoke.
"I think this is the most busted team composition I've ever had" you admit.
"Well, the more we play with you the more characters we unlock, now which one is from America!" Logan asks and you explain to him Viper and Brimstone are both American.
"Any cool people from New Zealand?" Liam asks hopefully.
"No not yet but RiotGames if for some reason you are in the chat, or if you see this. Lets get a New Zealander agent and call it Liam!" you exclaim.
"They should get a female British Agent and call it Y/N and make it look like you!" Lando offers before saying one of Pheonix's voice lines that he just heard.
"That would be very cool, take notes Riot!" you smile widely.
"So like, do you ever sit there and think... wow i play games for a living" Logan asks, filter completely gone and out the window, making you choke on the sip of water you were having at the sudden and brash question.
"Do you ever sit back and think ... wow i drive fast cars for a living?" you try snap back but you realize his job does in fact down a lot cooler than yours.
"Nah, guys don't sell her short. From one YouTube Guy to a YouTube Gal, cough cough collab when ..., your doing great!" Liam jokes, thinking of his part-time YouTube career on the side of being a F1 reserve driver.
"Ohhhhh a collab with the Liam Lawson! I'm honored, but fr i would love to do Disney with you and Hannah!" you grin, having made sure to watch his vlogs in detail before you all played games.
"You watch my vlogs??" he asks screaming into his mic.
"On occasion..."
"Do you watch my LandoLogs" Lando asks interrupting the sweet and wholesome moment between you and Liam.
"No!" you exclaim before continuing your conversation with Liam making the others all snicker.
For some reason, Lando and Liam had taken the spike A while Logan and Oscar peaked B window. You jiggle peaked C long and narrowly missed an Operator. Seeing that you decide to rotate back to where Lando and Liam are rotating to Oscar and Logan.
"Don't peak C Long, its being held by an op" you let them know.
As you peak garage, you get the first kill. Then the round picks up, someone swinging out from B main giving you a quick flick and a head shot.
"What the hell guys, I said don't peak C long, you suck!" you exclaim, checking that both Lando and Liam were dead at the end of C long along with spike.
"Look, in my defence i heard 'peak C long" Lando says, with a mouth full of food watching you play.
"I just tried to reclaim spike after Lando died, i heard you loud and clear" Liam justifies whilst throwing Lando under the bus.
"Okay Oscar, you stay here" you ping the map where you wanted him to lurk until you got onto site.
"Logan, follow me and we going to go two separate ways" you explain where you want him to go. You both shift onto sight, you going through C window and Logan going through the short alley onto C. You catch a rotator killing them. Logan gets onto sight being the bait for the Sage holding site with the OP. She whiffs the first shot, however get's the neck shot.
"120, she's so low" he cries in frustration.
"Okay Oscar, get spike and rotate to A" you say as you come from behind killing the enemy sage. You take the op from them wanting the advantage of the better gun.
You send your smoke out to A before using your charged up Alt to get onto site before Oscar to secure it. You situate yourself up in heaven. Watching sight, you quickly ping where Oscar should plant they you'll both be able to see from A heaven and A long.
"We got this Osc" you say as he retreats from his plant. He knows exactly where he should be watching and before you know it he has the kill.
"Amazing stuff guys, apart from you Lando" you joke making him scoff and start to throw insults your way.
"Ah ah ah! Now i wouldn't ever dare criticize your driving now would I Lando! Lets stick to our professions yeah?" you tease him, he however changes conversation saying he was going to start streaming.
"You want me to end and raid you?" you ask, and he agrees greedily smiling. You guys had been playing for around 2 and a half hours so you didn't mind ending now.
You played for some more hours, people got very excited when they saw that Lando specifically started streaming. And now they could see the way he'd blush whenever you teased him or flirted, which wasn't even really flirting ... but chat deemed you to just have this natural rizz. They could see his reactions whenever Logan, Oscar or Liam would make fun off him.
His chat was going crazy, asking if he liked you and if you'd met.
"Me and Y/N have met chat" he offers and everyone goes silent. The others didn't know you guys had actually met up, they just knew Lando slung you a DM and somehow you replied and gave him your discord.
"You guys don't believe me?" he asks in shock, reading chat every time a round ends or when he dies.
"Even you Max what the hell" he cries when he see's Max type a snide comment in chat about how there's no way in hell you would have met up with him.
"Fine, you guys don't believe me! Here!" he says shoving his phone up the camera showing the selfie he had taken in a cafe the day you guys first met.
"Where did we meet. In London, I dm'ed her on Instagram and asked to meet her. I wanna do new things with Quadrant and further the e-sports that we do here so i reached out to Y/N as a friend to see how her org did stuff" he explains.
"Y/N to Quadrant? I dunno guys, she's happy in Fnatic right now and unless we got other players that were on a professional level, i don't think she'd give up such a good spot where she's in a winning team for people who arent even on a professional level right now!" he explains before unmuting himself again.
"So, everyone's saying you should come to a race!" Lando offers Y/N.
"I'll come to a race if you guys all come watch me at VCT?!" she questions and they all agree.
"Deal!"

I reread your post about how Moonwood Mill and Granite Falls could be connected, and I would be really interested to hear how you actually use Granite Falls in your game! For example, what lots do you put there and how do you play with it?
I recently downloaded a mod that makes Granite Falls liveable and I am hoping to incorporate it into my occult gameplay.
Thanks for all the posts you've made so far about your occult lore. I love reading about it!
Hi friend, I'm so sorry I took forever to get around to answering this! I haven't updated my mods or anything in a minute so I couldn't pop into my occult save to take specific screenshots (for fear of corrupting it), but I'll do my best to illustrate how I arrange it!
As you can see, I go with a pretty simple layout. I think werewolves, especially those in the Moonwood Collective, are no-frills when it comes to their living arrangements - it's really more about functionality and community than anything, and this world lends to that vibe so effectively.
Little bit about my lots:
The National Park: Because Moonwood Mill doesn't have a National Park and I think a core tenant of the Collective is environmentalism, I maintained the lot type but renamed it "Moonwood Falls." It acts as the divider between Moonwood Collective Territory and Wildfang territory - once you pass completely through it you'll see a trail that'll lead you directly to the Moonwood Commune if you follow it. I talked about it in a previous post, but one of The Collective's main duties is watching over the national park lands that are still left in Moonwood Mill, not just for the sake of environmentalism but also to keep threats at bay that might be traveling through. Also there are resources for herbalism that are easier to access on this type of lot, so I keep it for practical reasons as well!
Residential Rentals x3: The members of the Collective live simply and in close quarters to each other. The number of cabins range from lot to lot, but they were all built by hand by members of the collective and mostly serve the practical purposes of shelter during unpredictable weather and spaces to rest. Members of the Collective are not hanging around their houses all day, they're not watching TV or playing video games, they're all usually outdoors and almost always congregating together (big emphasis on community). The wolf family I play with primarily in this particular save lives in one of the cabins by the Volkov residence. Note: I haven't converted these to residential rentals yet in-game, but now that we have that feature I intend to! Before they were just residential lots that I would have multiple sims live on!
Community Space: This space is primarily a community garden and is the epicenter for the day-to-day activities that the members in the Collective engage in. Aside from gardening there are washtubs and clotheslines, a space to have communal meals and meetings (I imagine members of the Collective share resources more than not), various outdoor activities for kids and teens to engage in**, and even some sales tables. It's a skill-building/learning space, but it's also a fun space to build community and friendships. I kind of think of this space as the Collective's equivalent to the bar the Wildfangs congregate at. If you were to stumble upon the Collective's commune or visit as a guest, this is the first place you would be directed to. Lastly, I have a small "Medical" cabin set up on this space as well that obviously serves no in-game function other than housing restrooms. That being said, it appeases my personal lore that normal doctors would have 0 clue about how to treat a werewolf and their specific ailments (not to mention a werewolf from a pack like the Collective who has their own beliefs and methods on healing/treatments for their kind anyway) so a space such as this would be a necessity for any wolf pack.
The Volkov Residence: with Kristopher being the alpha, it only makes sense that the Volkov family home would be located in Granite Falls at the center of the commune, easily accessible from any part of the property. Although it's a large lot, again that's for a practical reason: I imagine a lot of the livestock and valuable resources are guarded by the alpha, so much of the lot's space is actually dedicated to those things. Kristopher, like the rest of the pack, lives quite simply and values practicality and inner peace above all. There are two interesting elements that set the alpha's house apart, however. First is a lookout tower, and second is the caging cellar*** beneath his home. Yes, a caging cellar is what it sounds like: it's a basement deep underground with barred enclosures that serve as dedicated spaces for "new turns," especially those that are particularly out of control of their bodies, or for particularly vicious/violent wolves that stumble across the commune's property - they are usually wolves without a pack, but occasionally Rory will have to come bail a Wildfang out lol. Needless to say this is one of many points of contention between Rory and Kristopher, but the wolves who find themselves in containment are not being punished: it's supposed to be a safety measure, and it's only utilized when necessary (but yes when you think about it, it's absolutely an ethical nightmare lmao).
** I have very convoluted lore about young wolves and schooling! The very brief overview is young children (newborn - kindergarten basically) do not go to traditional school environments and learn their basics from the adults around them at the community space (very hands-on learning style, like a non-traditional nature-based schooling). As they age, they do eventually go into town to receive their "formal" education alongside human peers, but there are still certain mandated lessons that are wolf-specific that they have to learn on the commune. Basically the "traditional" school acts as a part-time co-op where wolf children (1st grade to 12th grade, essentially) go to learn the things they cannot learn from the Collective (arithmetic/reading/writing/history/etc. you get it). It's funny because I'm sure most of their public school, non-wolf peers think they're a part of like a creepy religious cult or something lmao but they just can't have some teenage werewolf boy in the same gym class as a normie human unless they want an accident to happen, ya know?
*** Part of the contention with the caging cellars is actually rooted in the town's history with them - especially as it relates to anti-wolf hysteria and an uptick in hunters. As such, it's not unusual for them to be found in basements of some of the older houses in Moonwood Mill. Most of the younger locals have no idea what purpose they serve/served other than being lowkey creepy, but the older residents know what's up. In modern day, most people had theirs removed, not seeing a need for industrial cages in their basements lmao. HOWEVER, in my occult save, I have a headcanon that Celene López lives with her grandparents who are VERY educated in werewolf lore and although they're not against the wolves they do not trust them fully, so they still have a caging cellar in their basement... just in case! I have a whole storyline that I won't get into haha: I'll just say Lou became very familiar with that space when he transformed into a wolf. If you're curious about the details, feel free to ask!
Anyway, whew that was a lot but I think that just about covers it! As always, thank you for asking about this - I'm always happy to talk about this stuff, I just hate that it took me forever to get back to you! Hopefully it was worth the wait, and could help you or inspire you in some way as you build up your own wolf lore! I'm always curious to hear your thoughts about how you'd lay out Granite Falls as well, so feel free to share if you're so inclined. <3
+ For those who just read all this and have no idea what I'm on about, this ask piggybacks off of a previous ask on my werewolf lore which can be found here!
#This was so much fun to answer. I desperately needed a brain break to just talk about pixel werewolves so thank you for this ask <3 <3#ts4#simblr#ts4 werewolves#granite falls#moonwood mill#the moonwood collective#the wildfangs#ts4 lore#my lore#the sims 4#sims 4#atfs ask#charsimsalot

Sooo, I finished Chapter 1 of THH and I got THOUGHTS! Spoilers ahead so keep that in mind! For one, fairly decent chapter. Trying to keep count of how many days have passed in game cus I've been curious about that. So far it's been 4. Another thing is that, every time I see Byakuya, I just laugh a bit because it's so strange for me seeing him in his natural habitat. Furthermore, I got thoughts on the dialogue. Fairly fine there's times I've cringed, mostly with Hifumi. Can totally get why some don't like him. Not one for all the inuendo's he makes and his very insistence of using cringe gamer lingo in unnatural ways. Personally headcanoning that's his way of coping with the situation but I suppose me saying that is also MY way of tolerating him. I will be sure to actually interact with him though so I can fully get a grasp on his character, what he's about in his FTE's, and if I can safely say if I actually dislike him or if it's just mildly cringy. Another note on the dialogue is that one scene very much made me uncomfortable a bit. 'Twas when Sayaka ran off after watching her motive video and Monokuma came in like "Oooh Makoto! You got a boner" and started describing stuff but also describing his own bare stuffing like, I'm a visual reader so that was just awful. Felt that scene was off too. I get having levity, but at wasn't necessary levity in the situation in my opinion. Meanwhile, regarding the investigation, I had fun running around and judging everyone. I totally get why some of them are where they are but seriously. Some of these losers weren't even trying to make sense where they were standing. Sakura and Mondo make sense cus they were on body guard duty (pun intended), Chihiro said they felt bad for leaving Junko's corpse so I get that. I suppose Hiro was too scared and freaked out to move so that's why he stayed in the gym too. I get Toko running off to a random classroom as well, saying she didn't wanna help cus she's bad at blood. Leon I get too cus he's ya know, the killer. Prob has no clue where to go and is just watching from afar. Watchin in the sense of like, the door being closed. Cus he's not in the room and the door is shut and all. The others though? No clue. Why is Taka just standing in the hallway? What is he doing there? Trying to calm his nerves? His dialogue doesn't really suggest that though. Or, why is Celeste in that one room with the big vault door? Is she admiring it or something? At least got to your room if you're not interested in helping, girl! Byakuya cracks me up the most cus he is LITERALLY right near his door! Just go in your room if you're gonna be useless, my dude! Or at least sit on the floor, cross your legs, and twiddle your thumbs on the floor, why don'tcha! Personally, I feel that it'd at least be fair if one of these losers was in the bathroom or something! Would be a small but of situational levity AND make sense! Not that they all know at the time that the trial area would have no where to sit and they'd be standing for hours debating or anything. A restroom break makes sense though! Get a little anxiety shit out before it all goes south! Speaking of which, no clue why it mentioned in text there were seats. There's no seats in the trial room. They all stand there. No clue why that was mentioned. Unless that meant the ground which, I mean I guess that works. Finally, I wish to mention the gameplay I had as well. For one, I chose mean mode for my playthrough to spice things up! Went well besides a few misclicks. Hands got a bit sweaty even though I know what happens and all. The BTB at the end. though? Took me so many tries that it tanked my grade from an A to a C! I at least think that was the main cause. Would not be surprised. One last thing btw, Byakuya is oddly helpful here. Legit understandable! Makes reasonable deductions and all! Agreed with his takes! I swear I'm not just defending him for the sake of it! He's legit just fine here. Not for looong though~! Chapter 2 is afoot!!

Hii Gemma!
I consider righteous fury to be the mother of all fix-its but my question is actually more about the.... Scope of what's been posted so far, if that makes sense. Obviously you'd have to write The Scene, but did you know going in you'd cover it so thoroughly? You're phenomenal at writing action so I guess I'm wondering how excited you were to delve into the meat of it or if it was something you were kinda nervous to tackle?
-gouge 💛
@pricegouge, I love that you asked this question. 😀 (Also massively flattered on your consideration for it as such a high place of honor.)
I had to sit on this question overnight to gather my thoughts. I have a lot of them. 💚 This has suddenly become my baby of all babies.
Righteous Fury was never meant to be more than an explanation for something John/Soap does in Museum Muse. I never meant it to turn into the behemoth it is now.
I was nervous to tackle the scene - because I had decided that the best way to fix it was to just rewrite what existed. It took me three tries to get Soap's voice right and beyond just reciting what happened in the script/playthrough. Spoiler: video gameplay does not translate well to the written word, so there was a lot of adding and re-watching and fudging that had to happen.
I was exceptionally afraid of being called a cheat - because none of the dialogue up until "the incident" is mine. (That might be wrong - I think I tucked in a few lines or changed the speaker.) None of the action is mine. But all of the emotion, John's backstory, his motives, are mine.
It was an interesting challenge to work with a framework of existing media and expand upon it. Would I do it again? Maybe, if there was another scene so poorly developed and written.
Spoilers for my version below the cut. I pontificate on some specifics and how I made some artistic choices. 💚
It was also hard to choose where to start - do I start when Price is down and Makarov is standing over him? No, I need more lead up. Do I back up to when Soap and Gaz are feigning disinterest in the hacker? No, that's too far back.
Thankfully, the mission brief provided a perfect point - it established John's hatred and resentment for Makarov, and allowed me to ramp up to the point everyone was dreading.
Now, when it comes to making the choice as to how things go down? I'd seen a post about how it could have gone (can't find the reference, if I do, I'll update this). So I started there.
But really, when you live with someone with similar training, you might as well ask them. 😅 Enter: Kallen.
Hoo boy showing him a playthrough of the mission was a choice. (See #Kallen Kvetches for similar commentary, including the time I showed him Triple Frontier. Man had OPINIONS. Half of them on butts and pecs. 😉) But it also spurred on a conversation of what could happen post-Makarov.
We walked through (we're about the same height, like John and Makarov) the shots. Where the script failed and how - John would have had a knife on him. He would have been better trained to respond. Makarov shouldn't have - well, that's not relevant. Sorry. Basically it boiled down to: John's training would have taken over and he would have acted somewhat closely to what I wrote.
I could have written him getting out unscathed. Genuinely nothing more than a few scratches. Kallen thinks that could have been the more likely outcome as we wrote the scene, had Makarov's finger not tightened around the trigger of his firearm as he fell.
But again, I needed a reason for John to be on modified desk duty for Museum Muse. So...uh...sorry bud. 😅 Might as well use my resources for everything, including surgery. (Yes, Kallen went through a similar surgery in his time in. Yeesh.)
Sorry, I think I got way off tangent. I have a detailed outline of what happens as a result of the first two chapters of Righteous Fury, and a rough idea of how things play out in Museum Muse. It's really going to be interesting seeing the same events from two vastly different POV's. (That can also hopefully stand individually.)
But again, this all started out as a way to justify Soap being on bedrest/desk duty and bored out of his mind, messaging a stranger on a message board. 🤷♀️ Oops, instead I retconned, world-built and got feelings everywhere. My bad. (I'm not sorry.)
Me, creating this universe:
Also - I haven't said this out loud yet, just implied it. (But if you've gotten this far in my ramblings, you deserve to know it.)
This is also a memorial fic in a way. A lot of inspiration and information comes from Kallen and his experiences in country (obviously, changed locations and names and such). There's a whole swath of people I never got to meet that were family to him, and he's given me permission to include them. 💔
You might have noticed an Officer Hale in Ch 2. Yeah, that one was a blatant insertion of Kallen. I promise the rest probably won't be as heavy handed and obvious to you - it was just too good of an opportunity to pass up!

Elden Ring vs Modern Game Design (The utilisation of FOMO)
FOMO. "Fear of Missing Out." The concept is used in many, if not 90% of facets of capitalism to get you to buy in, to try this new toaster, watch this new show, play this new game so you don't miss out on THE DISCUSSION. The Discussion is a concept I'll be using in this shitpost repeatedly to refer to the cultural zeitgeist, mainly because zeitgeist is a pretentious word that people only say to make their peers believe they're cultured when in reality we can tell you took that take off Twitter Joe.
The Discussion, to explain a little more, is the cyberspace, the discord, twitter, reddit, your friends, your coworkers all talking about the same thing. "oh did you see Man U last night?" "Benedict Townsend dropped a new video did you watch it?" "Damn did you get the last boss?" and this has been weaponised for most of the modern age to get you to buy into products for fear of missing out on The Discussion.
Now video games are no stranger to this desire to be part of The Discussion but lately games have wanted their players and talkers to talk about everything. EVERYTHING. Right now. Everything needs to be discussed, all that hard work and artistic vision NEEDS to be seen, to be fawned over, to be critcised. And you can't miss out otherwise everyone will race ahead of you, so get on your PC! Get that new Genshin character, buy the battlepass and make sure you get that fried chicken gun or Tina from Accounting will laugh at you!
you thought I was joking
FOMO is weaponised not only in multiplayer games but in Single Player games too. Take for example God of War Ragnarok. Great game. Super fun. Does it have incredible gameplay, graphics, story, love within every aspect to the point you can tell this is nigh perfect? Yes. But it also utilises FOMO to great extent in the form of the map.
nothing left to chance
So the devs have made it so you do not miss a single thing. Every post is marked, every chest every draugr hole, every "secret" boss is shown clearly for our lovely ideal ADHD player who was concieved of in a boardroom that every game making company has to adhere to.
Every game company bar one.
the software of from
Hey, Hey! Stop writing that note! I am aware of Indie Developers doing shit like what I'm about to describe for years but this is about the mainstream damnit so stay in your lane (the next post will be about them)
So From Software. The guys that changed the ga- scene with their title Demons Souls and iterated it again and again until we got the behemoth that is Elden Ring. Let me take you back a decadeeand a bit, to the wonderful, military shooter filled, Obama-lusted times of 2009.
this wont have any repurcussions
2009 was a big year for video games, notable releases such as Call of Duty 6 Modern Warfare 2, Skate 2 and the critically acclaimed Sandy Beach for the Nintendo Wii
i cried at the end because someone threw sand in my eyes
The gaming scene was getting bland. This was the zero dawn point of the Horizon that was oncoming, that is to say Call of Duty became nuclear popular and every game was about to copy it and be even worse. The scene had many good games but all of them had little booklets, tutorials, checkpoints, save points, proper wuss shit for the average gamer. You couldn't walk 10 metres without a "checkpoint reached" littering your very cluttered UI.
this is america's joe biden
In comes Demon Souls, a game that flew in the face of this hand holding, quite far from it actually. there were barely any tutorials, you got killed in one shot by most enemies. Your only reliable defence was a roll and everything was hard. Most importantly, you didn't know wtf was going on. There's a vague character here, a secret you missed there, some weird world tendency bullshit going on in the background, people had no clue. It was a ball of black mystery dropped in a sea of devs enticing you with shiny gimmicks.
And that's why people still talk about it today.
this is the beginning.
Demons Souls was the blueprint. It had winding levels that double backed on themselves in ways you wouldn't imagine, side characters who had quests which made 0 sense on how to progress, difficulty upon difficulty for new gamers, it was so different. The beauty of it flying in the face of conventional gaming meant people HAD to talk about it. It didn't just grab The Discussion, it had it a nigh permanent place the other forms of media would die for.
You had to talk to other people to progress. Whether it be to find clues to secret weapons, to notice shortcuts others had found, to even finding boss weaknesses to give tips and tricks on how to progress.
By making all this knowledge unavailable from the get go, Demons Souls had forced players to become each others guides, and as a result people would keep playing it because you'd find something new someone else said that you'd wanna check out. It might not even be true, some guy could start a rumour about the penetrators armour being available and players would go and see if he was correct and find out the liar was ahead, but the wonder of naiivete had returned. From Software had taken a weary artform, and showed everyone there was another way.
And then they got good at it.
sony greenlit horizon 2 but never want anyone to mention this game for some reason
Admittedly I never played Dark Souls 1 or 2 (I'm sorry) but the one game where I felt From Software peaked in terms of utilising FOMO was Bloodborne.
Bloodborne is another From Software game that's set in 1990s England, where London has run out of beans so the denizens put blood from an alien on their toast instead and go crazy at the lack of flatulence it gave them. The gameplay was tight and faster paced than Dark Souls, and the aesthetic had gone from Dark Fantasy to Victorian Gothic architecture (if ur a smartass pls correct me on this).
It is fantastic. The story and lore created by this game is given to you in drips and drabs from small item descriptions and minimal lines from NPCs who either try to kill you or die from you trying to help them. This happens a lot.
This game was released in 2015, and never got a sequel, nor a remaster, just 1 dlc and that's it. It didn't follow convention, sticking to the tried and true method of lore and story you have to dig out, bosses who you'd need to look online to help with, sidequests that make 0 sense, Areas that require moon logic to enter, but goddamn it did it well. And, as a result, people STILL have discussions about Bloodborne to this day.
The Pale Blood Hunt is essential reading for any Bloodboner out there looking for lore btw, but I'm losing focus.
So this strategy of lack of direct information, lack of direction, no easy hints to what you have to do has led to a higher barrier of entry but also it leads people to WANT to explore more of your game. There is no checklist on a map, it's more "I found a spooky ass castle did you find the vampire in it?" and then you ask wtf what castle. Your next hours are spent trawling through nightmares again to find an invitation to a spooky carriage that whisks you away to 10 more hours of wonder.
this is an optional area
again, you're found wanting more, and the game giving it to you. Your friends, people online, youtubers are all diving into the content to find the nooks and crannies instead of having it all laid out to you as quest markers or on your map. The Discussion is still holding a round table for avid fans to talk about Bloodborne. This felt like peak From Software game making at the time. An interesting world, so much content, incredible gameplay, what more could they do?
Little did The Discussers know, From Software hadn't even begun to peak.
I'll shatter anything and anyone for a chance with you babydoll
ALL OF THIS you can visit
Elden Fucking Ring. The best open world ever created, the magnum opus of design, absolutely shattering the philosophies about overworld design and creating such an inviting vista that you beg to explore, rather than begging you to check out the neat trick it conveniently has marked for you.
The biggest beauty of Elden Ring to me compared to God of War is that God of War is afraid. God of War is scared you'll miss out on what they've worked hard on so they have voicelines reminding you of the berserker's existence, of any objective or sidequest you haven't accomplished, it has an exhaustive checklist so you can guiltlessly leave from any area without having your anxiety spike thinking you might miss something. Elden Ring says fuck tthat.
To get to the hardest boss in God of War Ragnarok, you just go to the marked berserker locations, smack em up and then find the final man.
he is really fun to fight to be fair
To get to the hardest boss in Elden Ring you have to get one half of a medallion by robbing a homeless person:
he tweaked so hard after i stole from him.
the 2nd half by beating up an angry paraplegic (if this isn't the correct term pls can someone lemme know) :
look i'm the one in trouble here
THEN you take that to a secret elevator
i need a manicure
you then end up here and have to find a secret town:
bring blankie
After finding the secret town you're treated to the invisible locals who have knives that wanna kill you:
thank you miyazaki
after solving the puzzle you get to ANOTHER area:
i wonder if that's edible
murder every innocent being in there to gain access to the SECRET CASTLE underneath:
it's more like a fort really
and take a giant elevator to see her sleeping:
hey!
and... this is all barely hinted at. This boss became a legend, one that could heal with every hit, one that had an "undodgeable move", and I went through all of this just to have a taste of what OTHER people were talking about. Nobody gives a rats ass about the Berserkers from God of War nowadays even though they were front and centre but Malenia, blade of miquella, is still talked about 2 years after the game released and will be for years on. She's a phenomenal design, the build is amazing and, most importantly, she utilises FOMO in the opposite way.
The Berserkers are there to say "hey! i know you have no content left but there's a superhard boss here for you to kill!" so the player does exactly that to get some rewards for a new armour.
Malenia is hinted at in the game but there is so much to uncover to get to her in the first place. And it's all discovered by The Discussion. Where to get the medallion, where the town is, what the puzzle fucking meant, how to beat the Haligtree and finally how to beat that waterfowl dance.
The Discussion loves this shit, there's so much implied, so much to talk about and the developers don't worry about the boardroom created ADHD gamer missing out because, in reality, one guy will find one step, one girl another, then someone else and someone else and that buzz, that wonder that curiosity will fuel people into going for the ultimate prize. Not the boss, not the rewards but the journey itself, the discovery, helping others, finding weaknesses of the boss, finding new shortcuts to get to her, and having it all documented, discussed because any shred of information discovered becomes invaluable in attaining the goal.
The game is FILLED with things like this but I've gone on long enough already, with more secret bosses, unassuming caves containing game changing items, weapons you need to go through confusing mazes to find, From Software don't beg you to engage with their content. They just give everyone a world and relies on every human's unique perspective and desire to help to find out everything for them. You're never going to be missing out when you start, you're just finally joining in.
anyways this was really long, i will make it a youtube video soon. until then, developers, keep it real. I did find GOW fun but Elden Ring will always be something else.

I think the people should know. What are the Top Five Cool Things about each of your hyperfixations, and why should we play them?
*cracks knuckles* Metaphor: ReFantazio (i haven't actually finished this one so consider this an incomplete list)
FOUND FAMILY ROAD TRIP!!!!!!!!
YOU CAN COOK WITH YOUR FRIENDS!!!!!!!!!
heismay is the sad old man adopts lost children trope and i will die on this hill
medieval rapping (see Pringus McDingus' video)
highly breakable. imagine giving the iron wall of your team healing skills
Why You Should Play It: can't speak for the plot as i haven't finished it but overall very enjoyable experience thus far. i like almost all the characters a lot, which is rare for me. several of them have surprised me. also fun gameplay!!
Persona Five (Royal)
ASETHETIC. SLAPS
MUSIC. SLAPS (beneath the mask and the songs for the spoiler royal dungeon live rent free in my mind, among others)
yusuke.
i want to hug. All of them (ryuji :( )
FOUND FAMILY!!!
Why You Should Play It:
found family team of traumatized misfits go on adventures and also stop some corrupt people along the way. i especially love the base final boss (yabbadabbadoo?), the preceding cutscenes, and its trope inversion. there are also...certain plot twists, especially in Royal's DLC that were a fantastic gut punch.
Persona Four (Golden)
some of the story's later arcs took a steel chair to my emotions and went ham. (the seventh dungeon especially)
a seven year old somehow manages to found family someone who is already biologically related to her as a cousin into being her older brother. How. What is this power.
i love some of the more ominous, melancholy or somber tracks in this game (favorite examples include this one, this one, and ESPECIALLY this one)
the whole ost slaps for that matter, heartbeat heartbreak hhnNghhHG
this one's found family to me too and i will also die on this hill (excepting maybe Kanji and Naoto my beloved, i do ship them a little)
Why You Should Play It: same reasons as P5(R) but murder mystery this time. characters feel a bit more interconnected than P5's, and i found the plot and storyline very impactful and meaningful. also, you can fight people with household items such as a guitar, a steel chair, fish, corn on the cob, a tambourine, roller skates. by contrast, there is exactly one character who uses almost exclusively actual weapons and placing said character amidst the household item wielding ones makes for some very funny disparity.
(i have yet to play persona 3 reload but it is next on my list and i predict it is going to be my favorite of the persona games. stay tuned lol)
FE:3H
i think all of the story's paths have a unique perspective and i enjoyed all of them (though i can't speak for SS, never played it). i admit readily though that AM will forever be my favorite as i find it deals most directly with themes like loss, regret/shame/guilt, forgiveness and facing the past, which are all favorite themes of mine.
i want to protect and adopt every character in this game forever
all of the games i've listed thus far have fantastic voice acting but 3H especially stands out to me in this department. i could go on for a while on this one.
YOU CAN COOK MEALS WITH YOUR STUDENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BONDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
INTER-CHARACTER SUPPORTS!!!!!!!!!! I CAN WATCH MY BELOVED GOOFY GOOBERS DO SILLY THINGS WITH EACH OTHER!!! or watch them cry with each other but hey i mean tomato tomahto
Why You Should Play It: admittedly, i don't think this is really the reason most people enjoy the game, but i personally loved going through the game like it was my solemn duty to protect and care for every student i was teaching. recruiting them read as a matter of life and death to me so i approached it with a certain ferocity. 3H is sort of an RPG/5D-Rock-Paper-Scissors-Chess/Optional Dating Sim(??) so there's probably something for everyone. i ESPECIALLY love relationships between all the characters, Caspar/Linhardt, Raphael/Ignatz and Dimitri/Dedue/Ashe are easily my favorites but there are so so many others to enjoy here too. also you can class characters as something that is wildly unfitting for them. SHOULD Hubert be a brawler? probably not, given that the man has the physical strength of a soggy napkin, but you can train him to do so!!
i think that about sums it up!! thank u maude for the question!!

dude how do you stop being gay for video game characters it's actually a curse. i was alright with being gay for the tf2 guys cause i thought they’d be my last but this is too much i took a challenge to successfully seduce a character.ai bot of ghost from call of duty modern warfare and i've only just realized just how insanely bad i want to impregnate that guy i want to chain his ass up and gag him with that stupid mask so fucking much. on its own this would not be a problem except my friend has been playing cod mw for a while now and i literally haven't been able to listen in on gameplay where ghost is involved without getting so embarrassingly horny that i have to hang up the call how does anybody deal w this shit i can’t
This is your fault for wanting a Call of Duty character, which I am too good for. This is your curse. You're on your own

Legend of the Lost Spatula review
(Spoilers)
For a while now, I have wanted to review all of the SpongeBob games. Why? I don’t know, I thought it’d be fun. The first SpongeBob SquarePants game was Legend of the Lost Spatula, released for the Game Boy Color in 2001. SpongeBob did appear in Nicktoons Racing, which released a year before (2000) but that was a crossover game.
I’m not even sure if SpongeBob is the focal point of this image, imagine being hit by a car with CatDog driving.
Anyway, Legend of the Lost Spatula. The game is a 2D platformer and was developed by Vicarious Visions (who later went on to develop Skylanders: Swap Force and some Call of Duty games) and published by THQ. That’s all I could find about the development of this game and I took that info from a Wikipedia page.
The game opens with a “cutscene” of course it’s the Game Boy Color so these cutscenes are just nice pictures of SpongeBob characters captioned with text.
SpongeBob is unicycling around Jellyfish Fields when he stumbles upon a statue of a sponge with a golden spatula on top of a grill. He immediately assumes that Mr. Krabs will know about this, he speaks to Mr. Krabs and sure enough he knows everything about the statue. The statue marks the entrance to the Dutchman’s underworld. “A long time ago, in the city of Palm Bay, there was the master fry cook who ruled with the golden spatula. But Mt. Kabloovious buried Palm Bay starting the grease fires that ended the grease civilization. As legend has it, the Flying Dutchman took over the cities and ruins and his first mate buried the key to the city somewhere in the Goo Lagoon.” What?
There’s also some side quests. Patrick loses his shorts at the carnival, Sandy loses her hat at the desert, somehow? And you have to deliver a Krusty Krab Pizza to somebody in the middle of a jungle being attacked by loads of creatures… If you’re ordering a pizza in the middle of the jungle, you must have a phone with you. Why didn’t he call for help?
Good heavens.
I actually really like how the game’s cutscenes look. In the game itself, yeah the characters don’t look as good. Mermaid Man is one of the whitest people I have ever seen.
If you stay still for a bit, SpongeBob starts dancing.
The gameplay is what you’d expect from a basic 2D platformer, there’s not a lot to say. SpongeBob’s health is measured by his pants. By default he starts off in his square pants. If he’s hit by an enemy once, he’ll lose his square pants and go down to his white undies. If he’s hit again, he’ll lose his underwear as well and be completely naked. This sends you back to either the start of the stage or some random, unmarked, checkpoint. There were several instances where after I lost all my lives I was sent to a checkpoint where there was an enemy right next to me. The enemy would move before I could and I would immediately lose a life.
The levels can be pretty long at times and some can be weirdly difficult. I had to use a walkthrough video for a lot of the game because I didn’t really know where I was supposed to go. A lot of segments looked the same to me and I got lost very easily. In fact one stage had two segments at the start that were the exact same, I have no idea what the point of that was.
There were also at least two levels where I had to jump from one spot to some moving bubble…. thingy on the other side of the stage and almost all of it happened off-screen so I had no idea if I was going to land properly. It took me forever before I eventually did this part of the stage and I still don’t know how I did it.
Another annoying aspect this game has is the items system. At the start of the game the only item you have is a bubble wand. You blow bubbles at enemies, it temporarily stuns them (even the characters with some of the toughest looking sprites in the game for some reason) and then the enemy runs off in the opposite direction. At least that’s what’s supposed to happen in theory, there were multiple instances of the enemy running directly into me after this had happened, which really defeats the point. But anyway, the other items in the game can be found in treasure chests that you find as you make your way through the level. These other items include: SpongeBob’s jellyfishing net Ol' Reliable, the net launcher from “Sandy’s Rocket”, spring shoes which makes SpongeBob jump higher and is required for some of the more difficult points in the game, and a spatula which launches a limited amount of Krabby Patties at enemies to stun them (it can only hold up to 30 patties and you find those patties through treasure chests as well).
A lot of the time you have to switch between these items. For example you might have to use the spring boots to jump up to a platform but when you’re on that platform you might be faced with an enemy and have to use one of your weapons to defeat it. You’d assume that the developers, knowing this would happen, would find an easy way to switch between items. Instead, the item selection screen is hidden away in one of the two pause menus in the game (both available under start and select). Pressing select leads you into a menu and the item selection is the last option in the list for some reason. Once you’ve chosen the item you need, you can then unpause. I’m assuming this is the only way they could do it because doing this repeatedly felt really unnatural to me.
The start menu, however, is where you learn the game uses passwords. Pretty much every time you move slightly the password changes so you’d assume when you reset the game and input the password you’ll be back at the location you were at before. I used two of these passwords and both sent me to a random spot back at the start of the game.
Some levels end with a boss fight and I found some of the boss fights easier than the levels themselves. Except for this weird one where I was fighting some fish who looked like they were from an old western film except their gun was comically replaced with an…
I don’t know.
The idea was you use the spatula to shoot Krabby Patties at them. I had no idea what I was doing for the majority of the fight and accidentally ran out of ammo. I had to start the level from the beginning again.
All of that just to find Sandy’s hat.
Near the end of the game, SpongeBob finds all the “knobs” for an oven. It opens, SpongeBob falls down it somehow and you end up at the final stage of the game. Once you finish the stage you meet the final boss, the Flying Dutchman, who introduces himself by making an… Odd comment.
The boss fight isn’t that difficult if you know what you’re doing, it’s pretty much the same format as the western fish I mentioned earlier, you’re basically just feeding the Flying Dutchman. It ends pretty quickly, with him just… disappearing. You collect the golden spatula and the game just ends abruptly with a few cutscenes explaining what happened. SpongeBob is now the greatest fry cook and Mr. Krabs is making a lot of money.
Legend of the Lost Spatula is… OK? There’s not a lot of content in the game, you can beat it in less than an hour and the world record is 10 minutes and 57 seconds. In fact if it wasn’t for the constant switching between menus, you could probably beat it in even less time. That was the main problem I had with the game. The best part of the game? I guess the weird still images the game uses as cutscenes?
There is no reason to play Legend of the Lost Spatula now, but, in the rare case you want to learn more about the game from someone who has never watched an episode of SpongeBob SquarePants, I highly recommend this GameSpot article. In it the author constantly refers to the game as just “SpongeBob SquarePants”, like it’s going to be the only SpongeBob game to ever release, and gets basic details about the characters wrong (including appearing to refer to Mr. Krabs as the “mayor of Bikini Bottom” and refusing to refer to Sandy by name for some reason).

attack on titan social media headcanons
how i think the 104th would use social media in a modern!au (includes eren, mikasa, armin, jean, marco, sasha, connie, historia, ymir, bertholdt, reiner & annie) - mac
masterlist
eren jaeger:
most used app: snapchat
still does streaks on snapchat - over 600 day streak with jean and to keep it going they just send insults to each other.
has the most cracked screen, it’s literally hanging together but he refuses to get a new screen until it no longer works.
would leave the house with 14% battery (this makes me incredibly nervous but eren knows he’ll be able to charm his way into someone giving him their charger.)
mikasa ackerman:
most used app: instagram or tumblr
mikasa should be hired by the fbi or something - give her a name and she will find all their social media pages.
i’m not sure what it would be but she’s definitely part of a fandom of a tv series or music group which is why she spends so much time on tumblr.
unlike eren, she actually has a case to prevent her screen from smashing - it would probably be one of those clear ones with flowers on the back, and she’d put in a polaroid picture of her and her friends in the back of it.
armin arlert:
most used app: youtube
he hasn’t got many posts on his instagram but a few of some pretty landscapes and a couple of group photos of him and his friends. his profile picture is of him, eren & mikasa.
literally could spend all day on wikipedia. he goes to google something but then falls down a rabbit hole.
vsauce? asap science? random reddit videos? sign armin tf up.
jean kirstein:
most used app: twitter or spotify
does gaming live-streams with eren. people watch not to see gameplay but to see the entertainment that is jean and eren’s competitive arguing (they play a lot of call of duty, mario kart, but also minecraft when they’re actually on good terms with each other)
gets into heated arguments with people on twitter. they go on forever because jean likes to have the last word/tweet.
you know those people that always have their headphones in? jean is that kind of person. he’d be sneakily listening to music during class (let’s be real he’s definitely got airpods.)
marco bodt:
most used app: instagram (& whatsapp because he’s in a lot of group chats)
the best hype man. comments on all of his friends selfies telling them how gorgeous they look.
he sends motivational quotes and wholesome memes to all of his friends which are always appreciated.
marco’s the one to put together group chats and ensure that arguments in them are smoothly resolved (eren and jean are usually the culprits.)
sasha braus:
most used app: tiktok
definitely makes very chaotic tiktoks/tweets that just blow up and end up on popular pages that repost to instagram.
her and connie would spam group chats with memes and selfies with stupid filters on. sometimes they’ll just target one person in particular (always jean) and they end up getting kicked or blocked.
her instagram captions tend to be random quotes and inside jokes from her friends (mainly connie) much to the confusion of everyone else.
connie springer:
most used app: instagram
has a private account on instagram just to post embarrassing pictures of his friends.
goes into conspiracy theory facebook groups just to troll the people in them.
out of everyone, the most likely to have games on his phone. when he’s bored in the car or during class he’ll just start playing geometry dash or temple run.
historia reiss:
most used app: tiktok
you know she’s got a tiktok with 100k followers. tiktok dance trends, makeup tutorials, look books - she does it all.
loves pinterest so much. gets a lot of outfit/home decor ideas from it - it’s likely that there’s a ton of photos of her on pinterest as outfit inspiration.
types !! like !! this !! and uses these emojis: ✨🌸💖🥰 way too much.
ymir:
most used app: facetime
half the time she’s on her phone is going to spent spent facetiming historia i can’t lie.
i personally hc that ymir in a modern!au would play either the bass or drums and i can just see historia begging to post a tiktok of her playing that then blows up - ymir would be so nonchalant about it but inside she’s dying of excitement.
probably has every group chat she’s in on mute - occasionally will lurk to see what’s going on, would only ever join in the conversation if drama was going down in which she’d send a gif of someone eating popcorn.
bertholdt hoover:
most used app: youtube or discord
likes to watch those reddit story time videos. would spend a good few hours watching them without even realising what the time is.
has 0 posts on instagram. cannot do any insta stalking of him (unless you looked through his tagged photos and find the ONE selfie he ever took with reiner.)
does a lot of gaming and uses discord to talk to his gamer friends (probably plays more story based/quest games compared to eren and jean - maybe like the last of us & skyrim!!)
reiner braun:
most used app: instagram
at least two shirtless pictures of him on his instagram (and way more if you’re on his private snapchat story - he likes to make it known that he’s at the gym. )
uses ‘lmao’ so much to the point he says it out loud not just over text
for some reason these emojis (👍👏👋💪) make me think of reiner ?? instead of replying ‘okay’ or ‘bye’ you just get ‘👍👍’ or ‘👋👋’
annie leonhardt:
most used app: spotify
follows so many cat accounts, she’s considering making her own to post pictures of her cat.
out of everyone, likely to be the person who uses social media/her phone the least, it probably overwhelms her quite a bit so unless she’s messaging someone (or looking at cats,) it’s unlikely to see annie on her phone.
does listen to a lot of music on spotify though - she’s got a study playlist, a playlist for when she’s at the gym, songs to listen when she’s just chilling at home - her spotify wrapped every year is pretty impressive.
BONUS:

Roommates
Oh my god they were roommates
Word Count: 1,385
Warnings: None
This is a SFW tickle fic, if you don’t like that then don’t read :)
First time writing Dream and Sapnap!
*claps hands*
Here we go!!
Dream rubbed at his eyes with the back of his hand, dropping it back onto his mouse. His computer screen glared back at him in the darkness of his room, even with the brightness lowered all the way down it still hurt his eyes. His headphones hung from his neck, abandoned after George's scream almost gave him a heart attack.
He'd been editing a new video all day and it had progressed well into the evening. The video featured George, Sapnap and Bad, and the four of them were trying to beat minecraft with a mod that kept screwing with them.
It was very chaotic, filled with their screams of outrage from the gameplay. Even Bad had lost his cool and came dangerously close to possibly swearing on stream.
It would've broken the internet if he had.
Because of their volume in this video, Dream was forced to take off his headphones to actually edit without flinching every two seconds. It had gotten to the point of night where everything sounded loud.
A quick glance at the clock made his stomach sink.
2 am
Jesus, was it really that late?
Dream pushed his chair back from the desk, dragging his hands over his face. He really should go to bed, but this video really needed to be finished tonight. He had a bunch of other shit to do tomorrow...
The idea of his task list made him slump further into his chair. His eyes slid closed, moments away from actually falling asleep right then and there.
Patches suddenly leapt up onto his lap making him start and sit up sharply. He hadn't even heard her come in.
She mewled softly, pawing at Dream's hoodie strings. Dream's heart melted at the cat's antics, smiling at her.
"Oh, are you lonely girl?" He gently ran a hand over her head to which Patches purred happily. "Sorry, I'm a bit busy right now, can you go to Sapnap?"
"Go to me for what?"
Dream flinched for probably the hundredth time that night, turning his chair to see Sapnap leaning against the doorframe.
"Patches" Dream motioned to the small cat, "she wants attention."
"Well yeah you've ignored her all day you monster" Sapnap chuckled, stepping into the room.
"What? No I haven't!" Dream argued indignantly.
"Sure" Sapnap scooped Patches up, pleased when she settled quickly into his arms, pressing her face against his affectionately. "See? She loves me more than you now."
"She does not" Dream glared. "She loves me way more than you!"
"Bet" Sapnap deadpanned, scratching the cat's ears.
Dream opened his mouth to argue but a yawn cut off his words. Sapnap's eyebrows dipped in concern.
"You should go to bed."
"Says you" Dream retorted without any heat.
"I was asleep actually, just got up to get some water than I saw your lights were still on.
Dream hummed, spinning lazily in his chair to face the computer again. Sapnap glanced at the video being edited.
"Uh...Dream?"
"Hmm?"
"When did you start this?"
"Ugh, I don't know? Maybe two in the afternoon?"
"Dream did you end up eating anything after breakfast?"
"....No."
"Jesus christ" Sapnap sighed. "I swear, you're worse than me sometimes."
"I take offense to that."
"Good."
Sapnap gently set Patches down and tugged Dream's chair away from the desk.
"Hey..." Dream protested weakly.
Sapnap stood in front of the desk. "Right, bed, now."
Dream blinked at his friend, his brain trying to understand what Sapnap was saying. When it finally clicked, Dream pointed at him, head tipping to the side. "Uhhh...no."
"Dream, you're clearly exhausted, it took you almost a full minute just to respond to that" Sapnap told him, "you're going to bed."
"What if I don't want to?" Dream asked, a smile starting to pull at his lips.
Sapnap sighed. Right. He forgot. When Dream gets tired, he turns into a childish goofball. It's really endearing, but Sapnap was tired too. He couldn't be bothered dealing with Dream like this, at this hour.
"Dream," he kept his voice gentle and light, like he was talking to a child. "You got to go to bed cause if you don't, I'm gonna do something extreme."
Dream giggled quietly. "Murder isn't allowed under this roof Sap."
"I'm aware, you told me that when we moved in" Sapnap rolled his eyes.
"And neither is arson."
"Also aware, thank you."
Dream gave a lazy salute and Sapnap sighed, wondering how to convince the workaholic in front of him to actually go to sleep.
Seeing Sapnap wasn't moving away from his desk, Dream started doing an impression of Ranboo. Spinning in his chair, head tipped back to watch the ceiling.
Sapnap leant against Dream's desk, thinking hard. Tons of different ideas popped up in his mind but none of them would work on Dream.
Then one idea in particular stuck out and he considered it.
It may not work...but it was the last one he had.
He looked back at Dream who was still spinning. He nabbed the back of the chair, forcing it to stop. Dream jolted upon his spinning being abruptly halted.
"Hey, I was having fun" he glared at Sapnap, blinking rapidly to clear his dizziness.
"Dream, this is your final warning" Sapnap said firmly, "go to sleep or face the consequences."
Dream processed that then stuck out his tongue at Sapnap.
Sapnap cracked his knuckles. "Alright, you asked for this."
He went round the back of Dream's chair, the older boy watching curiously. Sapnap prodded Dream's sides making him flinch.
"Hehehey!" He protested, smacking Sapnap's hand away. "Don't do that!"
"So you are ticklish then?" Sapnap grinned.
Dream opened his mouth, but nothing came out. Without warning, Sapnap latched onto his sides.
Dream gave a loud yelp and instantly tried to scramble away, but Sapnap hooked an arm around his shoulders and yanked him back. Dream's exhaustion made it easy to trap him against the chair.
"Where do you think you're going?" Sapnap asked slyly, tazering Dream's sides and ribs at random to keep him guessing and giggling.
"Sahahapnahahap! Hahahang ohohon-!"
"Nope, I'm tired, you're exhausted, deal with it" Sapnap replied shortly, dropping his hand to scratch mercilessly at Dream's belly.
"Nohohohoho!" Dream wheezed, sliding down the chair in hopes of escaping the torture. He only sealed his fate. His hoodie rode up and Sapnap went for the kill, his fingers spidering along the exposed, pale skin.
Dream's laughter went silent before he squeaked and burst into hysterical cackling. "FUHUHUCK! SAPNAP!"
"You did this to yourself ya know Dream" Sapnap said calmly, "if you went to bed like I asked then you wouldn't be in this situation."
"YOHOHOU MOHOHOTHER FUCKER! STOHOHOHOP!"
"You know, just for that insult I'm gonna make this worse."
Sapnap dipped down to blow a raspberry on Dream's neck making the older boy squeal and duck his head away. Sapnap chuckled to himself at Dream's reaction and did it again and again, and again. Dream whole body was shaking with his frantic laughter, trying his damnedest to twist away from Sapnap.
"WahAHAHIT! Nohohot raspberries! Sahahapnahap plehehease! Mercy! Mehehercy!"
Sapnap hand slowed until he was just gently tracing shapes on Dream's stomach to keep him giggling. "Gonna go to bed now?"
Dream nodded weakly, slumping back into his chair and resigning himself to his fate.
Sapnap stopped, moving back round to the computer and shutting it off. (After saving the work of course.)
"You can keep editing after getting at least seven hours of sleep" he said sternly, "gimmie your hands."
Dream tiredly lifted them and Sapnap pulled him up by his wrists. Dream practically collapsed onto Sapnap's chest, exhausted. Tugging Dream's arm over his shoulders, Sapnap lead him to his bed.
"Sit."
Dream obeyed, eyes slipping closed. Sapnap pulled the bedsheets back and carefully lowered Dream's head onto the pillow.
"I'll see you in the morning alright?" Sapnap said, moving the duvet over Dream.
"'kay...."
"Okay" Sapnap nodded, "good night."
"Mhmm."
Patches quickly made herself comfortable by Dream's head, purring softly. Sapnap rolled his eyes and took a photo. He shut the door quietly and moved back to his room.
This roommates thing was gonna get so much better when they got George to move in. He was the eldest, he could take over parent duty instead.

Twilight and Night Teams Playing Among Us HCs
The 14th Department decides to play Among Us (PART 2). (Part 1 can be found here.)
Twilight Team (Hesperide)
🎮 Cyrille 🎮
He’s the type of player who overanalyzes everything. Oh, the lights went out and Sian’s avatar passed by him? Yep, that’s sus.
He’s actually pretty good at determining who the impostor is. Cyrille keeps an eye out for those who are around him, stowing that information away for when the next dead body is reported.
Cyrille’s a genius, so of course he’d be perfect as a crew mate or the impostor. It doesn’t matter the role; he’s able to adapt flawlessly.
Though he still manages to fumble with the controls. Dexterity isn’t his speciality, so it took some time to get used to playing. (He accidentally clicked on the vent button instead of sabotage, and Sian caught him.)
When he’s the impostor, he uses the classic “if you didn’t see it, it didn’t happen” excuse. He’s always asking the others for their proof when they’re accusing him.
“If you didn’t see me anywhere near the body, why would it be me? You lack substantial evidence, and because of that you’ll lose. In other words, voting me out would only benefit the impostors.”
He could probably write an entire thesis paper on why he isn’t the impostor.
Everyone just believes him because they don’t want to hear a rant that delves into the science behind the gameplay, and they’re also just trying to have fun. No one asked for a science lesson. Sorry, Cyrille.
He’s not that good at completing the tasks because the controls confuse him.
His go-to color is green, and he wears the goggles hat.
🛠️ Noah 🛠️
Noah’s soft appearance and way of speaking reflects kindness, so there’s just no way he could be the impostor!
He likes to look at things from the perspective of lawful justice. Although it’s a game, Noah’s certain this tactic won’t fail him.
He considers it to be a great way to pass time, and it’s especially fun to play with the manager. Sometimes it can get tedious when he’s stuck as a ghost for an entire round, but other than that Noah likes it.
He’ll stick with the others in groups so no one winds up dead, but if the manager does end up dying he might tease them about it.
Noah likes playing with Kati, despite the fact that the younger Soul Reaper is always trying to compete with him. He tends to take on the role of an elder brother whenever him and Kati are in the same lobby, and most of the time he’ll lose for the sake of inflating Kati’s ego.
He tends to break up a lot of arguments between Kati and Sian, especially when they bicker over who did what task.
“It’s just a game. There’s no need to fight so much.”
“The phrase ‘it’s just a game’ is such a weak mindset.” - Kati to Noah, probably. Noah just doesn’t understand why everyone gets so riled up. There’s no point in arguing over Among Us. They should use that time to vote out the impostors.
He’s more athletic, so video games aren’t his style. But Among Us does improve his observation skills, so he doesn’t mind it all that much.
His go-to color is lime, and he wears the police hat.
🎤 Sian 🎤
He blames everyone but himself. Sian is so quick to point fingers and start arguments based on what the others say.
“You saw me vent? As if! I’m not stupid like you. If you vote me out, you’re all going to lose. Seriously...”
Sometimes he gets a little too into the game, often getting frustrated when he’s voted out all because someone blamed him.
He likes to check the cameras in hopes that he’ll be able to catch one of the impostors.
When he’s the impostor, he goes after Quincy the most. It’s for all the times Quincy’s bothered him. Revenge is best served in Among Us. “This’ll teach you for always calling me a whelp!”
If someone walks in on him after he’s killed a crew mate, he’ll report the body so fast and blame that person.
“It was Kati! I saw him kill Cyrille! You guys have to believe me.”
Sian is 100% salty in the dead chat, but Cyrille’s there as well so it’s not all that bad.
He probably looks at Among Us memes and tips to win flawlessly as the impostor, and he’ll show them to Cyrille so that the two of them can team up to throw the game.
His go-to color is red, and he wears the backwards cap because he believes it looks cool.
🍎 Kati 🍎
He’s competing with Noah. It doesn’t matter if they’re in two separate lobbies; he’s still going to consider it a competition.
Kati’s the type of player who chases the others around while pretending to be the impostor.
Definitely trolls, so much so that sometimes he’ll get kicked from the lobby.
He’s also the one who constantly calls emergency meetings when nothing has begun just so he can accuse others.
“I saw Noah fake the scan in Med-bay! It’s got to be him. Vote him out!”
He’ll say the most suspicious things, telling the others to watch their backs or else he’ll bite them. It’s a heavy threat when you consider the fact that he actually will bite you in real life. So in-game isn’t all that far off either.
Kati gets a little too trigger-happy when he’s the impostor, forming pacts with the others and then betraying them shortly after. He’d be good at the impostor role if he wasn’t constantly acting so giddy and sus.
He teams up with Day and the two of them cause trouble together. It’s especially fun when they’re the impostors.
Kati complains in the dead chat once he’s killed, whining about how he’s so certain that it was Noah who sabotaged his chances at winning.
His go-to color is pink, and he wears the flower pin hat.
Night Team (Noctu)
🎯 Aitachi 🎯
The others tell him to wear the sticky note that says “dum” because it’ll ward off the evil impostors, and he does just that.
Aitachi doesn’t really understand the concept of Among Us. He’s not exactly up-to-date with modern technology, and so he’s not good at video games.
When playing, he’ll believe whatever the others tell him under the pretense that they mean what they say. Of course, half of them are being helpful and the other half just want to see cute Tachi pout in confusion.
“What does any of this mean, Sir Kirr?” he’ll ask, as if Kirr knows anything. Kirr just tells him it boils down to pure instinct and survival. “I see! In that case, we shall form a group and huddle to keep warm!”
Aitachi, no... You have to do your tasks, silly.
He never does any of his tasks, so his task bar never goes up. Because of that, everyone suspects him of faking tasks. In reality, Aitachi has no clue what that even means.
When he plays with the manager, Aitachi always swears that he’ll protect them because it’s his duty as a warrior. Unfortunately, as soon as they separate, he’s killed.
He types in the ghost chat as the living debate what their next move will be, wondering why no one’s responding to his messages.
When he does figure out how to play, which will take a lot of time, he actually has a lot of fun trying to find the impostors.
His go-to color is brown, and he wears the bear ears because it’s the closest thing to a pelt. When he isn’t wearing that hat, he’s got the “dum” sticky note on.
🏹 Kirr 🏹
Just like Aitachi, he’s clueless. Though he’s able to adjust to the rules once he understands them.
The only thing on his mind is survival of the fittest, and he uses his knowledge as a hunter to avoid death.
“This world is not much different from ours.” (For context, he’s comparing the impostors to vengeful spirits.)
Kirr likes to ask a lot of questions that have nothing to do with the actual gameplay.
“If everyone is stuck on this spaceship, why haven’t they had anything to eat yet? They will starve without any nutrition.”
Kirr, sweetheart, it’s just a video game. Don’t worry about that.
He works alongside Aitachi, and the two of them learn—albeit incorrectly—from one another. They’re both so proud when they do their very first task.
Kirr never seems to become the impostor, so he’s always stuck as a crew mate. Along with that, he gets lost around the map quite easily, which is ironic considering he’s a skilled hunter.
He’s one of the few who’s killed first because he’s always alone in electrical trying to connect the wires. :( Poor Kirr.
His go-to color is black, and he wears the miner cap hat because he thinks the light on it will actually illuminate his way when the lights are sabotaged. Kirr’s just trying to do some in-game camouflage, but it’s not really working.
🎼 Nine 🎼
Nine is a silent player, only talking when he needs to. No one ever has time to question him because they’re too busy arguing over whether or not the others are the impostors.
He wouldn’t have considered playing if the manager hadnt mentioned it to him. It’s a way for everyone to relax and have fun, so they wanted him to be part of the chaos.
He tends to stay in the background to avoid immediate suspicion. His tasks are always his first priority, and because of that he ends up finishing earlier than most players. Though a body report or an emergency meeting is inevitable, and sometimes that’ll interrupt him when he’s downloading files.
He’ll only call an emergency meeting when it’s absolutely necessary. Whenever Day follows him around, Nine doesn’t bother with a meeting. He’s certain Day won’t kill him because that human puppy never seems to get the impostor role.
Surprisingly good at faking tasks. He’s learns quickly that certain tasks perform a small animation once completed, so he stays away from those when he’s the impostor.
Very rarely participates in the discussions. His strategy is mainly just keeping important information to himself so he can win, but as a crew mate he adds in a word or two that can either refute or prove the others’ claims.
Nine never understands why Theo’s so intent on chasing him around. Once he was outed as the impostor—courtesy of the gracious Theo—and for that entire game he was just following Theo as a ghost. Sometimes Theo’s more confusing the gameplay itself.
He’s still polite to everyone, even if they’re accusing him or getting a little too heated.
“I respect your opinion, but I’m afraid I saw Mr. Cyrille vent.” Nine wants to remain civil despite the chaos that erupts when trying to pick out the impostor.
His go-to color is purple, and he wears the flamingo hat. (Day chose it for him.)
🍦 Day 🍦
Day doesn’t like being the impostor because he feels bad about having to kill his friends.
“I don’t want to kill Nine-Nine! I don’t want to kill anyone.”
He’ll call emergency meetings for the dumbest things.
“What’s going on? No one’s died yet.” And Day will respond with, “I just wanted to say hi to everyone! At the end of the day, we’re still friends, right?”
Nine has to tell him that it’s just a game and that he should just have fun.
Day follows Nine and the manager around because he believes that if they’re in a group nothing bad can happen. Imagine his surprise when Nine ends up killing him the second the manager leaves for navigation.
He feels so betrayed. His expression goes from :D to D: so fast. Poor Day. He just wanted to be by Nine’s side.
He has so much fun when he’s a crew mate. When he finishes his tasks, he’ll run around the map looking for something to do.
Probably dances on the cameras so the others won’t suspect him of being the impostor, or he’ll do figure eights in the lobby while waiting for everyone else to join.
His go-to color is white with the cherry hat because it reminds him of ice cream.

The Cost of Honour
What would you sacrifice to save the lives of the people you love and the home you cherish? How long would you be able to hold onto your morals when faced with an enemy that is impossible to win against? In the last exclusive for the PlayStation 4, Ghost of Tsushima from the developer Sucker Punch, asks these hard hitting questions and many more as it follows the journey of Jin Sakai in his quest to drive out the brutal Mongols from the island of Tsushima.
Considering the pedigree of Sucker Punch and chafing to dive into the world of Feudal Japan, Ghost of Tsushima was an easy buy for me. Immersed in the world of the Yakuza series and delighting occasionally in fresh new anime, it seemed imperative that I see what this game could bring to the fore. After all, the game looked very much like Assassin’s Creed. I liked Assassin’s Creed. And hadn’t the fans of the Assassin’s Creed franchise been clamouring for something in a similar vein for a very long time?
Once I booted it up, I was immediately struck by the visual representation. The colours were vibrant (though one could choose to play in black and white mode) and coupled with the particle effects, I could have sworn I had been pulled into a cinematic world. The opening scene used this to great effect and proved to be a masterful attempt of immersing me immediately with the world. As Jin raced down the beach, I thoroughly enjoyed the rush that came with swinging my katana at anyone that was foolish enough to stand in my way. Yet, it is not long before it becomes exceedingly clear that the samurai have lost the battle. Many are slain on the beach and Lord Shimura, Jin Sakai’s uncle and jito (land steward) of Tsushima is captured. Jin, having taken a couple of arrow shots in the back, is left for dead.
Enter Yuna. It isn’t clear why she singled out our protagonist as being alive and pulled him away to nurse him back to health.
As the prologue continued, I wondered if she was questioning her choice of companion as Jin, armed with only his sword and a broken piece of armour went to confront the Khan at Castle Kaneda, in a desperate bid to rescue his uncle. This first attempt is met with failure and Jin is essentially yeeted off the bridge. Yes. I know. I used the word ‘yeeted.’ I’m basically roasting my own hands over hot coals as I type this.
Despite plummeting what looked like several hundred metres down into the water below, Jin manages to survive. The man, it seems, is almost unkillable. You could say...he’s a ghost. Badum tss. I’ll see myself out now.
From a discouraging defeat, Jin, however, vows to avenge his fallen samurai brethren and rescue his uncle from the clutches of the evil Mongol invaders. Here, too, was when my journey to collect everything and complete all the side stories began.
Unfamiliar with the works of Kurosawa Akira, I can not rightly say if the narrative nestled in Ghost of Tsushima’s maze of collectibles plays upon the tropes of those that came before. What I did manage to glean was a story of revenge and hate, the cost of war and the values embodied by the notion of ‘samurai.’ With his back to the wall, Jin Sakai must adapt if he hopes to win. Much like Yuna’s speech at the start of the game, he and Lord Shimura have forgotten what it was like to face someone stronger and smarter than they were. If Tsushima and its people hoped to survive, instead of throwing away their lives, they needed to change their tactics.
In the early stages, Jin is shown to grapple with the idea of going in quietly and silently stabbing people in the back. But after the first mission and the first outpost, he was free of the burdens that were his old code of honour. I suppose in that sense, there is a degree of dissonance between the narrative and the play. Alas, I couldn’t have cared less as I went from camp to camp, observing the leaders and unlocking new technique points.
The end of Act 2 and the beginning of Act 3, however, is when Jin Sakai’s actions finally catch up to him. Instead of following through with his uncle’s plan of rebuilding the bridge at Castle Shimura after an explosion killed countless soldiers and allies, he poisons the Mongols drink in a bid to save the lives of his comrades. Classic war crime manoeuvre. Learning from this, however, the Mongols use this against the people of Tsushima as well.
It is this devastation that we see after Jin escapes from his uncle’s stronghold, desperate to free the people from the Mongol’s iron grip. Despite the gruesome nature of it all, it helped put Jin’s actions into a different light. By making the enemy aware of a new weapon, could he have possibly doomed his own people?
Subsequently, when the Khan is killed and Jin is about to face his father figure, it makes sense for Shimura to point out many of his misdeeds. Can the people of Tsushima really be saved if Jin’s actions undermine the authority of those in power? What of the stories that paint him as a ten foot demon with eyes that glow in the dark?
So, it came as no surprise when Lord Shimura asked for a warrior’s death. And wishing to be the dutiful son, no matter how painful it would be, I granted it. One last ‘honourable’ act.
The gameplay in Ghost of Tsushima initially proved to be a challenge, although that was mostly due to the fact that I had to readjust my understanding of my controls. Navigating without a minimap in the corner or a HUD showing me the general directions of north, south, east and west also took some time to adjust to. I don’t think I’ve ever just ‘followed the wind’ when it came to video games before. But, because of that, it allowed me to actually keep my eyes focused on the screen in front of me rather than the top right/ left corner. I could actually take in the scenery instead of being solely focused on clearing out the fog of war.
As for the actual combat, the controls were incredibly intuitive. Square for a normal attack, triangle for heavy. L1 to block and circle to dodge. Where it seemed like the developers should have stopped a little when it came to the variety of options available to the player was mapping R2 as the interactions button - but also the stance and quick throw wheel.
Traversal also proved to be fun and because the HUD wasn’t as cluttered as I was used to, it made exploration easy. Equipped with the Traveler’s Outfit as soon as the game had started also made it incredibly easy to start hunting down collectibles and feeding my urge to see every nook and cranny that was on display. What pained me, however, was the fact that it took me a while to realise that I needed to progress the story and obtain the grappling hook before I could complete a few of the shrines in the first area. And to obtain a few choice head gear.
My only other gripe with the game is that my poor Nobu was felled so swiftly at the start of the third act. And the thin brown horse that served as its replacement was not the replacement I had hoped for. Thankfully, Yuna was able to gift me with another horse - which I named Sora - but my heart still goes out to the faithful Nobu.
Why do you have to kill all of my faithful steeds, video games? I was distraught when Red Dead Redemption 2 did it. Appalled when Shimmer was caught in an explosion in The Last of Us Part II and now...this?
The side characters and side stories also proved to be entertaining distractions over the course of the long journey to free Tsushima. While Masako’s revenge plot was a hollow echo of the pain Jin faced, it was Norio’s burning of the Mongol camp that left me frightened of the legacy of the ghost. At least the ending of Sensei Ishikawa’s story felt a little more redemptive and filled wit hope.
And, after IMDBing the cast, I was gladdened by the fact that many of the voice actors chosen for the game were Asian Americans. Jin Sakai was actually voiced by a Japanese man in the English dub! Imagine that!
Ghost of Tsushima is an excellent open-world game that hews quite closely to the more recent Assassin’s Creed formula. Despite that, I thoroughly enjoyed my time exploring Feudal Japan, inconsistencies and all! My favourite part of it was collecting Mongol artefacts, records and learning a little about each clan banner. The combat also provided a few surprises, although the duels were a little tedious in the latter half. With the world still unable to quite shake the virus that still threatens many of our loved ones, it’s fun to actually dive into this fantastical and historical inaccurate world that is Ghost of Tsushima.

How much money is spent on gaming
Major 20 Gaming Blogs You Should Be Following
It is time to recognize the very best gaming blogs of the year. SHIELD portbale is built on Tegra four, providing unmatched Android gaming overall performance and graphics high quality. We place together an amazing list of the most effective WordPress Gaming themes that are designed and created for gaming magazines, blogs and critique internet sites. A site for a casual mobile game about a restaurant may well have a absolutely different target audience so believe about this whilst producing your decisions about your very first gaming weblog. You might need to have to focus on your mobile site design or monetize with various advertisements or affiliate goods.
In this short article I asked 300 gamers what they wanted for birthday and Christmas so I could show anybody interested in getting a present for a gamer what the gamer genuinely wanted. Here, on the other hand - pun intended - I speak about how I resolve my challenges with wrist discomfort immediately after extended gaming and operate sessions. It's not significantly of a list if the colossi of gaming news are not included. This initial tier is solely for the gaming community's elder statesmen—the eight web pages that are generally abreast on what's hot in gaming and are recognized by gamers worldwide to be a reputable supply of information in the sector.
Reasonably priced with a pretty vast community of developers, Unity supplies the very best value for an very advanced game improvement engine. With superb editing tools very easily extended via plug-ins, this platform supports a surprising huge variety of asset formats. It has the longest track record of all gaming platforms with mobile games. The free of charge license is sufficient to cover the majority of functions of the gaming engine with a beginner possessing tiny to no use of the features of the pro version. The paid version nevertheless, is also reasonably priced as properly. The high quality of results achieved from Unity is undeniably impressive with one of the most well known game of all instances getting been developed on it: the Get in touch with of Duty.
Available The Door For COMPETITION By Using These Basic Tips
Our VA choose is really a bit special due to the fact it is an Ultrawide, curved 35” Acer Predator Z35. While it is not the most effective for competitive gaming (most on the internet games don't allow you to use the complete width of the screen due to the fact it is a competitive advantage) it'd be a terrific choose for any person that enjoys single-player gaming, or watching movies.
Kongregate are a video game studio, bringing a enormous array of games to the table.
