the prophecy | max verstappen
summary: you and max can never agree on the same topic of conversation and it might be the thing that breaks you up
warnings: angst, some yelling
word count: 805
the tortured athletes department series
you love max. you really do. but you hate when he brings up the same topic of conversation that you'll never agree on.
“i’m not moving to monaco.” you say for the million time.
“i’m just saying it would be way easier for us.” he answers unbothered while eating his dinner.
you avoid rolling your eyes at his comment and just decide to ignore him. since you got together, distance has been a complicated issue for you both. with max flying almost the whole year for races and then going home to monaco and you working and living in new york, the two of you only saw each other during breaks and when you could occasionally fly to see him race.
and yes, maybe it would make it easier if one of you just moved, but why did it have to be you? living in new york has been your dream since you were a kid and saw it in the movies, and now that you finally got a job that you enjoy in the city of your dreams, are you really gonna leave it? hell no.
“why don’t you think about it?” he insists.
you drop the fork you were holding on the plate creating an exaggerated noise.
“would you do it for me?” you ask, exhausted. “would you move to new york for me?” he shakes his head and went back to his dinner.
“is not the same.” he says.
“why don’t you move to new york?” you ask instead. this caught his attention and he finally moved his eyes from the food to you. “what is it to you anyway? you’re traveling the whole time, i on the other hand, actually work here.”
“you can get a job in monaco.” he replies like he always did when the topic came up.
“i don’t want a different job!” you raise your voice. “and i don’t want to move to monaco.” he didn’t said anything, fearing that whatever came out of his mouth would disturb you more than you already were. “if you wouldn’t do it for me, why would i do it for you?”
you regret it the moment you said it, but it was too late now, it was out there. you could recognize the pain in max’s face from miles away and you felt a little guilty that you were relieved when you said it so you didn’t have to hide your thoughts on the topic anymore.
“because that is what people in relationships do, y/n.” he answers, his tone rather harsh. “you sacrifice things for each other.”
“why do i have to be the one to sacrifice things?” you couldn’t stop now that it was out there.
“why are you being so immature about this?” he exhales, a tired expression on his face which only made you angrier.
“i’m not acting “immature” about this.” you attack. “you just ask me to give up my whole life to go live in a complete different continent for you and i said no, period.”
“so what are we supposed to do, y/n?” he raise his voice at you also. “what are we doing here? playing around?” you frown, nodding your head in disbelief. “i love you too much but this long distance thing is killing me.” he admits.
to be fair, you weren’t the biggest fan of long distance either, but there was no other choice. it was either that or broke up, and you definitely didn’t want to break up.
“look, i know it is not perfect but what else can we do?” you ask, even though the answer was right there, it was obvious that neither of you was going to give in.
“this cannot be the thing that breaks us up.” he whispers but you heard him.
“of course we’re not gonna break up, max.” you say. “that seems extreme.” a grimace of sadness appeared on your face.
“well, i’m not sure what else…” he didn’t continue. “i’m not moving to new york.” he says with a serious tone. “and it seems like you’re not moving to monaco. and none of us wants to do long distance.” you kept quiet, trying to wrap your mind around what he was implying, praying that your conclusions were wrong.
“so?” you ask somewhat fearfully.
“so… i don’t know.”
“you want to end things?” you question straightforwardly, not wanting to wander anymore where his mind was.
“i don’t.” he answers. “but can we continue how we are?” his face was of true despair.
“is it really this serious?” your voice was seconds away from breaking but you didn’t want to look shattered in front of him.
“you tell me.” he says with a lump on his throat.
you couldn’t help but wonder if this was always how it was going to end.

Canon what canon?
---
"Wait... So are you breaking up with me?"
Tommy paused and at least had the decency to look devastated.
"Yeah... I guess I am. See you around Buck."
He watched Tommy turn around and leave, the door closed behind him and the silence was deafening. He ran a hand through his hair, just to give his hands something to do.
Ten minutes ago he was getting ready to go out on a date with his boyfriend of six months, and now he was dumped?
The room started spinning and he was gasping for air. Is this what a panic attack felt like? He tugged at the collar of his shirt and tried to get up to open a window but his legs felt like lead
He pushed through but somehow he never seemed to get closer to the window. He reached out a hand but never got close enough to reach the latch.
Suddenly he felt himself falling, even though he was pretty sure there hadn't been anything in his way. He closed his eyes and braced himself for the impact... but it never came.
"Evan?" a sleepy voice pierced through the fog in his mind. "Evan, wake up."
There was a hand on his arm, softly rubbing up and down.
"Evan, come on, it's ok."
He took a deep breath, relieved and somewhat confused he could actually do so now, and opened his eyes to find out where the voice was coming from. He turned his head to the right and was met with a pair of blue eyes, full of concern.
"Hey... are you back with me? I think you were having a bad dream."
"Tommy?"
"Yeah I'm right here. Are you ok? Do you want me to get you some water?"
Tommy sat up and turned on the light on the nightstand. They weren't in the loft and Buck was confused about where the hell he was.
He rubbed a hand over his face to try and get rid of the brainfog but then was even more confused when he felt something cool against his face. He looked at his hand and saw a ring on his ring finger.
"Evan... do you want me to call someone? A doctor? 911? You looked like you were in pain. You'd tied yourself up in the sheets. I woke up because I got cold."
"I just... I... it felt so real..." Buck stammered and sat up too.
"What did?"
Buck stared at the ring on his finger.
"You broke up with me. On our six month anniversary."
"When you asked me to move in with you?"
"Y-yes!" Buck looked up at Tommy who looked both concerned and amused at the same time. "You said you couldn't be my first and my last and then you left... and you called me Buck."
Tommy put a hand on his forehead and Buck felt the cool metal of his ring against his skin.
"You don't have a fever." he murmured. "But baby, when have I ever called you Buck? You even made me promise in my wedding vows never to call you anything but Evan."
The world around him slowly started to make sense again as he looked around the room. The bedroom in the house he shared with Tommy. His husband.
There were two dress uniforms hanging from the wardrobe doors, a towel thrown over a chair, and a pile of clothes on another. His phone charging on the nightstand, and Tommy's on the other side.
"it just... felt so real."
Tommy leaned forward and kissed his t shirt clad shoulder.
"It wasn't. I promise. I know I freaked out when you started talking about moving in and getting married after six months... but we got through it didn't we? We're good now."
"Y-yeah... we're good." he let Tommy pull him back down and wrap his arms around him.
"Try to get some sleep. You don't want to be yawning in the pictures when you officially become lieutenant Kinard." Tommy said and kissed him.
"Yeah..." Buck murmured, the last 2 years slowly coming back to him as he put his head on Tommy's chest and listened to his heartbeat. "Hey babe... have you ever seen Glee?"

Business or Pleasure [M]
Pairing: Jung Jaehyun x female reader
Genre: smut
Tropes: older woman/younger man, workplace romance
Warnings: female receiving oral, cursing
Word count: 1608
Author’s Note: We all know I never write detailed smut scenes, but unfortunately, Jaehyun managed to get this one out of me. Be easy with me, I cringed a hundred times writing this lmfao.
“We need to have a conversation.”
A squeak of surprise left you as a strong hand wrapped around yours, tugging you over to the closest door, not giving you any chance to refuse. It all happened so fast, the way the door opened and closed, the cool panelling of it now pressing into your back.
If it had been anyone else grabbing you without consent, you’d be affronted by the manhandling, and the way your hand fisted the lapel of Jaehyun’s jacket wouldn’t have you pulling more of that delicious weight upon you. But you had known by the low tone of his voice, and the familiar lines of his hand that this was someone you’d only ever pull into you, not push away.
“About?” you queried more confidently than you felt. Every nerve was alert in your body, blood was rushing through your veins, and you were certain if he didn’t kiss you soon, you might go lightheaded from how frequently you were sucking in breaths in anticipation.
“How long were you going to torment me like this?” Jaehyun groaned, his hand already somehow underneath the midi-length skirt of your dress, running higher to its long-awaited destination. A second groan tumbled out of him when he confirmed what he had suspected. “You’re this wet.” Christ.”
“How did you know? We’ve been on opposite sides of the function all night.”
“Do you expect me to miss how you kept rearranging your legs?” He gave you a withering stare. “Darling, we’ve been at this for weeks now.”
“This be-ing?” Your voice rose an octave when his thumb brushed against your clit, your legs demonstrating how you had been woefully hiding your arousal all evening by trying to clamp together.
He swatted at the inside of your thigh, his thumb digging in more pleasurably in the process, making you whimper.
“No,” Jaehyun commanded, spreading your legs again so his hand could nestle back where it had been. “No more hiding this from me.”
“This is a business event!”
“And I’m making it my business to ensure you can go back out there and actually focus.”
You laughed, finally shifting your gaze so you could meet his eyes. They were sinfully dark, his pupils blown wide enough that it made you pull your bottom lip between your teeth. Jaehyun responded with a look of desperation, begging you not to prolong this any further. It was funny this connection between you. He acted like you held all the strings, that it was all in your control when and where you collided together, and yet it was him who had pulled your attention across that room all evening. His mere existence had you soaking your panties with the worst timing possible. Though it had led you both to this private room and for that, you were somewhat relieved.
Or you would be once he did more than put pressure where you were aching the most for him.
“Tell me I can,” he hoarsely requested, and you nodded once. Still, Jaehyun didn’t move. “With your words, sweetheart.”
“Please—!”
His mouth was on yours in an instant, need crushing you to him, the taste of the sweet dessert he had consumed just before now giving you a sugar rush. You moaned, wanting to devour him, weaving your hands up broad shoulders and into dark hair, gripping the strands on and off, like a cat kneading, and you were definitely needing. Craving for more, to have him hoist you up against this wall and enter you—
Dazedly, you realised his hand had remained still and you broke off the kiss, panting as you looked at his decidedly smug expression. “I said please.”
“Please what?”
“You hardly gave me a chance to ask you to pleasure me,” you remarked, and he chuckled, shifting his hand just enough to give you a bite of pain from the prolonged pressure there. You moved your hips slightly and he tutted you.
“I thought you were worried about this being a business event?”
“I’m a little past that point now, don’t you think?”
“So, I can—?”
Your impatience was showing. “I need you, now.”
“Yes ma’am.”
He removed his hands from your still panty-clad middle, and you closed your eyes, waiting for him to shift them aside and enter you properly. You realised it would be a little impractical to have full-on sex at a gala being hosted entirely by the company you both worked for, but logic was long gone from your mind. You needed him to do something, anything to release the— oh.
You hadn’t acknowledged the noise of Jaehyun dropping to his knees, the carpet beneath you softening the sound, but you did feel the whoosh of air around your legs as your skirt fluttered over him. He gave you no warning as your panties were skimmed down your legs, pooling over your heels until he instructed you to lift your leg.
“We can’t do this here!” you managed to gasp, yet somehow your body was obeying the request, and you allowed him to manipulate you until your leg was thrown over his shoulder, your balance now precarious with the heat of his mouth hitting your sex as he breathed a kiss there. Jaehyun’s tongue then replaced his lips, drawing another gasp out of you and having you blindly tilting forward, thankful for the half wall in front of you separating the darkened room from the doorway. You had no idea what the room was, given the moon wasn’t out tonight, and right now, you didn’t care as the pleasure you craved had you doing your best not to moan loudly.
Jaehyun took this as a disservice to his efforts, and parted you before diving back in, forcing a rumble up from your chest. “Fuck!”
“Mhm,” he hummed, and you looked down at the depraved scene before you. The skirts of your dress might have been hiding your assailant from view, but the lewd noises he was making only made the movement of your dress seem dirtier. You bit your lip, refusing to give him the satisfaction of another cry out, and he went on the offence again, searching for an angle that would have you moaning out his name. Jaehyun chuckled against you, and you swatted his empty shoulder, soon gripping onto it as a wave of pleasure drove through you.
It was by sheer luck that you hadn’t moaned once more, otherwise you wouldn’t have heard the approaching voices. Flinging yourself upright, you tensed, trying to decipher where they were coming from.
“Stop!” you whispered, and he listened, his breathing heavily turning to the side of your raised thigh, where he rested his forehead temporarily.
Still, the voices grew nearer.
You tried to pull your leg down, but he moved quickly, gripping you to him. “Don’t move,” he mouthed onto you, and you squirmed, anxious to get back against the door, to see if it had a lock. You needed not to be found here, fornicating with a junior associate, not because there was a policy about in-house dating, but because you were an older woman. Rumours in the workplace were always worse when there was an age gap that didn’t follow societal norms. This didn’t register with your lover, however, and he turned his head back towards where he had been consuming you, starting up a strong rhythm again.
“No!” you cried as quietly as you could. “We can’t keep doing this now!”
“Shh,” Jaehyun murmured, rubbing reassuring hands over your legs. “I think you can be quiet enough.”
“I don’t—”
You almost expired on the spot when he slid a finger inside you, his mouth curving up before suckling away at your sensitive flesh. You knew this for what it was now, he was challenging you, proving a point that he didn’t care about what the others thought if your sneaking around got caught out. He wouldn’t let you go just because you were worried about any fallout. In fact, he was insisting that you stay with him here, return your focus to his ministrations, and forget the rest of the world.
And damn him, you did just that. The voices registered for a couple of minutes more in the background of your mind, vaguely aware of them being there until they weren’t and somehow this had made you hotter. Jaehyun had anticipated this too, ramping up his deliverance as you started to shake, your world close to unravelling.
And just before you did, you heard him beg you to let go, a cry of his name escaping your mouth as you fell over the edge, slipping into a nirvana quite unlike you had ever experienced. And you had been experiencing his pleasuring skills for weeks now.
Once your high had fled and you were all boneless and sagging from the release, Jaehyun reappeared from under your skirts, grinning triumphantly.
“I could kill you,” you told him tiredly, sinking into his waiting embrace.
“You won’t.”
“We could have been caught.”
“It was worth testing your patience there. I never thought my prim little worker would get that wet when—”
You swallowed up the rest of his sentence with a kiss, a soft chuckle parting from him when you pulled away.
“Think you could go back to the gala and focus now?”
“Are you kidding me?”
Jaehyun smirked. “What happened to this being a business event?”
“I’m done with business for tonight,” you declared, a deft hand reaching for his straining arousal. He hissed as you wrapped your hand around him. “How about we go home and negotiate some more pleasure?”

Would you, possibly, be willing to do Emily comforting a lesbian BAU!reader who’s just been dumped by their gf? 👀 I just think she would be so sweet about it but also so real
A/N: Okay so I'm pretty sure I went off the rails from what the anon actually asked for and just fucked it up but um.... I'll just post it now.
Status Update
Pairing: Emily Prentiss x BAU!Fem!Reader
Type: Fluff/Sweet (I think?)
Description: Break ups can suck. But you have your best friend (and hopefully future girlfriend) to help you out and spend the evening with you.
Warnings: The reader doesn’t seem all that affected by the break up tbh? I don’t think there is anything I need to add here.
You knew that you needed to figure out a way to apologize to your girlfriend. So that’s what you did on the jet back home. By the time the jet landed, you had a plan in motion. You made a reservation at a restaurant she was talking about and ordered her favorite flowers and some chocolates. The only hitch in your plan was that you couldn’t get ahold of your girlfriend.
Well, ex-girlfriend after the call you get.
“Hey Gar-”
“OMG Y/N! Why didn’t you say anything? When did this happen? You just have to say a word and I will be at your place with ice cream and alcohol and movies!”
“Woah woah woah! What’s this about?” Emily turned to you from the passenger seat as you gave her and your phone a strange look.
“Emily! Good thing you guys are together! And Y/N didn’t tell you? She and Clarise broke up!”
“What?!?” You and Emily exclaimed at the same time.
“What? She updated her relationship status on Facebook… OMG she did it without telling you…” You could quite literally hear the grimace on Penny’s face across the phone.
“No… I- I’ve been trying to get ahold of her since the case ended but it keeps going to voicemail…”
“Oh Y/N… I am so sorry. You know we are here for you, right?” Emily gave you a soft smile as you took a deep breath to try and think clearly.
“Yes! And um… not sure if you want to know but she blocked you… that’s why it kept going to voicemail…” Penelope spoke up, making you shake your head. “Thanks Penny. I’ll see you at the office.”
“Okay. I love you, be safe lovies.” You sat back with a sigh, not sure if it was disbelief, sadness or relief that you felt. You couldn’t believe that this was how Clarise was breaking up with you but at the same time, it was also how she and her friends let people know that they didn’t like them or were mad at them. You felt sad that this is how things were ending after being with her and there for her for the last almost two years. And however bad it might be, you also felt somewhat relieved after how much she had been trying to make you choose between your job and her even though you had made it clear what your job was like and how much you loved it before you even got together.
“You know we are here for you right?” You glanced at Emily, catching her eye. You sigh, contemplating if you should speak out your thoughts.
“I know… Honestly, I don’t really know how to feel. We were together for two years and instead of giving me the courtesy of telling me herself, she just blocked me and changed her status, which honestly hurts. But at the same time, she has been pretty insistent about me choosing her over my job over the past couple months, so this is somewhat of a relief too because I don’t want to choose.”
“I feel you. Most of us seem to have the same issue.” Emily chuckled, but you could feel the bitterness of it. You groan when you remember that you need to cancel your reservations and the orders, knowing that you won’t get your money back.
“I’m gonna have to cancel my reservations and stuff and I’m not even going to get my money back. This sucks.” You take out your phone just as Emily speaks up.
“Well… you can still go? I mean, by yourself or we can go as a group if you want?” “You know what?” You speak up after a moment of silence. “I don’t want to go alone, and the reservation is only for two people. How do you feel about going with me?”
“Like a date?” Emily exclaims and you can hear the surprise in her voice.
“Well… not exactly… but we can do that after I move on from everything with Clarise?” You bite your lip as you shoot your shot.
“Well… a-are you sure?”
You shoot Emily a soft smile as she glances at you, “A 100% sure.”
“I would love that…” You can see Emily blushing under the streetlight as she parks outside your apartment building.
“Perfect. I’ll pick you up in an hour?” You smile at her as she nods, grinning at the blush covering her cheeks. “Emily Prentiss blushing? Never thought I’d see the day.”
“Oh hush! If anybody ever hears about this…” Emily threatens. “No one is going to hear. Your secret’s safe with me Em. Now, I’m gonna go get ready and by the time I get to your place, you better be dressed up Agent Prentiss.” You grin as you tease her, getting your bags and leaving the car.
One hour later, you are standing outside Emily’s apartment building with flowers and a box of chocolate, waiting for Emily to get down. You grin when you see her coming out in a beautiful red dress that doesn’t even compare to the beauty wearing it.
Emily smiles at you as you exchange greetings, blushing when you give her the flowers and chocolate.
“These aren’t the ones you ordered on the jet.” Emily says as she gets into the car.
“No, they are in the trash. I was not about to give you the flowers I bought for Clarise, Em. You deserve a lot better.” You start the car, giving her one last smile before starting to drive.
The rest of the evening is a blur of conversation, laughter and memories being made. You both enjoy a selection of high-quality food followed by an ice cream stop before driving to drop her off at her apartment.
As the night comes to an end, you are sure of two things. One, the two of you won’t be dating until after at least 3 months because according to Emily ‘that is the required amount of time to get someone out of your system’. Two, you are willing to wait an eternity if it means that you can date Emily at the end.

Changes Part 3- Steddie X Reader
Summary- Steve has gay (and poly) thoughts about Eddie after their kiss.
Will be uploading part 4 soon!
Warnings-Some smut
Thanks everyone for waiting. I have been really sick recently but I hope for part 4 to be long and full of spicy smut!!
I am working on editing and formatting this all together!
Part 1 of this can be found here
Masterlist here
Steve’s knuckles were white as snow as he gripped the wheel, his face burning up from a deep crimson blush that just refused to fade. He was confused and embarrassed and still pretty angry. Eddie abandoned you and broke your heart. Steve wasn’t going to be able to let that go and yet his heart echoed in his chest deafeningly. He hadn’t expected for Eddie to kiss him, let alone the fact that he actually liked it.
Between the fight and the kiss Steve had never felt more confused.
“Are we going to talk about this or continue to drive in silence?” Steve mumbled, almost in a daze as he momentarily brushed over his still stinging lips while keeping one on the wheel.
Eddie was unusually quiet, dark eyes staring dead out the window, arms crossed over his chest, his jaw was tight and there was this look on his face, one that Steve struggled desperately to decipher.
“Silence it is, I guess…” Steve sighed.
There was a long uncomfortable pause, Steve keeping his eyes on the road, struggling to keep them away from Eddie.
“I love (Y/N). I love her more than anything.” Eddie’s leg bounced rapidly as he spoke. “And I know that she loves me the same, even though I have no fucking idea why.” He chuckled. “And I know that you love her too. Honestly it REALLY pissed me off, at least it did at first.” He ran a shaky hand through his tangled hair.
“I don’t get it,” Steve admitted, eyebrows furrowed.
“Okay, okay.” Eddie sighed. “When I used to jerk off I used to only see (Y/N), only her. But now no matter what I do I end up thinking about you both.” He laughed, eyes staring straight ahead. “Crazy, right?”
“Oh…” Steve’s eyes widened and his face burned even brighter. “Well, I don’t think it’s that crazy...” He cleared his throat as the seemingly never ending drive came to an end, parking in front of your apartment while the rain fell down around them both, pattering in an ongoing succession.
“What am I going to say to her…She won’t forgive me. I fucked up big time.” Eddie groaned, the fear clawing its way up his throat.
“Just go to her, and be there with her. She is hurting right now. You need to fix that.” Steve rubbed the back of his neck, his hair bouncing slightly as he leaned over the steering wheel.
Eddie nodded before silently opening up the car door, the sound of the rain only growing louder as he did, standing in the rain as he stared at Steve for a moment.
“She needs you too, y’know? The way she is with you, the way she smiles. It’s brighter and warmer than anything else.”
—--------------------------
The sight that was on your front porch knocked the air out of your lungs, Eddie and Steve both stood in the doorway, dripping from the rain outside and each with their own fair share of scrapes. A bruised eye each and busted lips as well as a number of other wounds.
They both were definitely in rough condition, you almost didn’t want to ask what had happened, partially because you could somewhat guess and you also were so relieved you decided to let it be for now.
You of course wanted to ask them what had happened but tears quickly welled and overflowed, you couldn’t help but throw your arms around them both.
You hadn’t seen Eddie for weeks and Steve’s sudden disappearance only sent familiar bolts of fear over your entire body.
You didn’t want to lose either of them. It was hard to see an outcome where keeping them both in your life was even possible.
“Baby- I’m so sorry that I left you like that.” Eddie mumbled into your hair as he held you close, his voice low and slightly trembling. “I was just confused. I can explain- we can explain everything just please don’t hate me.” Eddies breathing quickened as his hands trembled, holding you close.
Steve blinked, looking between you and Eddie for a while. The whole world froze for him as he watched the two of you hold each other. He saw your glimmering smile again.
What more could he really ask for other than your happiness?
————
“It’s hopeless, Robin.” Steve grumbled, shoving his face into the couch cushion as he groaned.
“It’s not hopeless!” Robin snorted, tossing a pillow at him. “You are making this so complicated. You know that Eddie likes you! And he already said (Y/N) has feelings for you! And you have been in love with her for like two years now! It’s as simple as if you liked kissing Eddie Munson.
I don’t see the issue here.”
“I think I did?” Steve sighed, pressing the pads on his fingers to his stinging lips. “There was a lot more punching than kissing though…so I’m really not sure.” He groaned.
“Listen, Steve. I think you just need to go over there and tell them both how you really feel.”
“I don’t even know how I feel…maybe I need another beer.” Steve rubbed the bridge of his nose before pulling himself off the couch and over to the cooler on the side table.
The shitty beer stung as he drank one-two- then three down with ease as he coughed the image of your smiling face, bright and glowing up at him as he pressed the palms of his hands against your perfect skin, always a bit out of his reach. He wanted to taste every part of you, caress and feel and rub his teeth over each part of your skin.
He imagined you would taste like honeydew or vanilla or something else entirely, something that made his head spin and pants grow tight.
It was the more he drank that the image was distorted. What Eddie had said to him was definitely getting to him.
It was you and Eddie and himself, limbs entangled with the scent of cedar and smoke that would make Steve’s head spin. Eddie’s long slender fingers adorned with rings would be running over your curves as Steve pressed eager kisses down your hips and thighs, taking his time to press his lips to every inch of your silky skin.
You would whimper and whine, the sound of your voice echoing around in his skull only made his mouth water. The scent of smoke in Eddie’s hair as Steve and him crashed their lips into each other, noses brushing just slightly.
It was all too much, the idea and the image of it all sent electricity over his spine.
He wanted to see you and Eddie, he needed to.
“Robin, I gotta go.” Steve mumbled, suddenly standing up.
“What? Wait, you cannot drive, you are trashed!” Robin stood up to strand in front of him.
—---------------------------------
And that was how Steve ended up walking all the way to yours and Eddie’s apartment, standing in front of the door with a trembling hand as he knocked on the door, leg shaking up and down as he did.
“Steve?” Eddie’s eyebrows were furrowed as he rubbed the sleep from his eyes. “What are you doing-.”
He was cut off by Steve pushing the door open all the way and he cupped Eddie’s face in his hands, the curls falling from Eddie’s messy updo as the two stumbled back into the apartment. Steve crashed their lips together with a hungry and desperate strength, his teeth brushing over Eddie’s lips as Steve trapped him against the wall.
Eddie reacted quickly, eyes wide for a moment before leaning into it, wrapping his arms around Steve’s neck as he tilted his head to the side just slightly. He was surprised, to say the least. He wasn’t sure if Steve would be back at all after that day in the rain.
“I don’t understand.” Eddie admitted, eyes blown and eyebrows furrowed as his chest rose and fell rapidly.
“I want you, both of you. I-I understand now.” Steve rambled, face red and bright like the glowing sun. “I haven’t been able to think about anything else.”
The two men were pulled from each other's gazes when they heard the floorboards of the apartment shift and a soft gasp echoed through the apartment.
“Steve?” Your voice was small and broken as you rubbed your eyes. You had been woken up by some sound and came to have a look. “Eddie? What are you two doing?”

I saw the prompt "You're the only one I could turn to for help" from @yearoftheotpevent and suddenly I wanted to write something for it with Luu Kah and Ramsey. I used a draft from a while ago, but turned it narrated and in english. Also the prompt is not used literally but close enough.
So here's a modest little thing (1,257 words).
I didn't want to bother with description tbh so: they're hanging out, sitting somewhere outside in Tipa, and it's during or near the end of year 5, before the last journey. Ramsey's probably somewhat aware of his crush at this point.
- - -
"Hey, Luu… If I told you that I can hear a voice speak in my head sometimes, would you think I'm crazy?"
Even as he kept his eyes on the horizon, Ramsey could see from the corner of the eye that his question made Luu Kah shift and glance at him.
"What do you mean? Like, hearing your own thoughts? That's pretty common stuff if you ask me", Luu Kah replied with some irony in his voice. Ramsey felt his lips twist in a tiny smile, even though he was nervous about bringing up the topic. But right now he couldn't think of anything to answer back, and eventually Luu Kah resumed with a more serious tone. "Err… Do you have an example?"
Ramsey scratched his head, searching for the right words to describe those abnormal experiences he had. Maybe he should start from the beginning. "The first time something weird happened, it was the day after I was saved in Lynari Desert. When I woke up in the morning, I felt like someone was there even though I was all alone. And then later on, one day… I had this feeling again, but I even heard them speak."
There was a short silence before Luu Kah replied. "When was that?"
"It was… When Noel killed the Black Knight. I could have sworn I heard someone talk. It was a woman's voice that didn't belong to anyone there. No one else but me seemed to notice, though," Ramsey added.
"Now that you say it, I remember you had a weird look on your face at some point. But then… What did the voice say?"
"It was pretty sudden, I'm not so sure of it anymore. But I think she said she didn't want things to end this way. About the Black Knight's death, I assume." Ramsey paused. He didn't recall everything given how fuzzy that moment was, but he remembered the next part because of how weird it was. "Then she said that someone was making everyone suffer or something like that."
Ramsey stayed silent for a moment. When saying it out loud, that last part made even less sense. He was about to take a look at Luu Kah, but refrained from doing it as he was worried about the expression he’d find on his face.
Fortunately, Luu Kah broke the silence soon enough. "Okay, it sure is pretty vague but it seems to match with the events of that day."
The tone in his voice didn't make him feel like he thought he was crazy. Ramsey took a brief glance at him after all. "Do you believe me?"
Luu Kah looked back at him. "Well, we've sure seen a lot of weird stuff during our journeys. And you're not the kind of guy to make up stuff like that." Ramsey had a tiny smile. He felt relieved. "Maybe something happened while you were cursed and turned into stone in the desert. Did you tell Weylin?"
"No… You're the first to know," Ramsey answered.
Luu Kah seemed a bit surprised before smiling faintly. "Oh. You think she wouldn't believe you?"
"I don't know. It's just… I wasn't comfortable speaking about it at all. I mean, it's so weird. Sometimes I'm not even sure of the things I've heard or felt anymore," Ramsey explained.
"Hmm… And so, the voice you heard when the Black Knight died, did you hear it again later?"
Ramsey realized it was actually the only time. "No… But I felt the weird presence again later. The last time it happened was when we were at Hurdy's place in Alfitaria." He remembered how it went. They had tried to help Hurdy remember about the Black Knight and about himself, but the man was struck by a violent headache. And then he said…
"Wait," Luu Kah interrupted his reminiscence, "was it right when he said there was a light somewhere in the room? And no one else could see it?" Ramsey looked at him with his mouth half open and nodded. Luu Kah knew exactly where he was going. "Then that makes two of you having a weird experience at the same time. See, you're not crazy!"
Ramsey chuckled and felt some relief again. He looked away, trying to reorganize his thoughts. He shook his head. "But I can't explain it. Sure, I can see that the Black Knight and Hurdy were involved with each other since they were travel companions before. And I can see that the weird stuff happened to me when one of them was there.” Except for that morning on Lynari island. “Most of the time, anyway. But then, what would this voice… What would this ghost be? Was it —or she— following them? But why was I the only one who heard her?”
Ramsey thought he saw Luu Kah shiver. "A ghost, huh… I really hope not," the latter replied while holding his arms against his chest. It wasn’t long before he loosened his stance and resumed. "I don't know. You went through some uncommon shit by being turned into stone for a while. The Black Knight and Hurdy also went through… you know, amnesia and all that. Hurdy even thought he was two different persons. Those aren’t things you normally get to live.”
Ramsey reflected upon Luu Kah's words for a moment, until he held his head with his two hands and scratched his hair vigorously. "Aaah, I don't get it! There must be a piece of the puzzle that we're missing and chances are things won't make sense until we have it."
Luu Kah looked at him again with a grin that looked just a bit playful. "Probably. Do you think you can handle it until then?"
Ramsey chuckled and exchanged another look with Luu Kah. Of course his friend knew how he couldn’t stand unsolved mysteries. "I guess I don't have much of a choice, huh?"
Luu Kah kept smiling for a second before looking away. He now had a thoughtful expression on his face and resumed. "How can I help?"
Ramsey wasn't expecting the question. He kept his gaze on him while answering on the whim. "I guess… Just by listening to me and believing what I said. Knowing that I'm not completely alone in this helps." Luu Kah looked at him again, his expression harder to decipher than before. "And… you're the only one I felt comfortable enough with to confide in."
Luu Kah's eyes widened a bit. At this moment, Ramsey felt a slight embarrassment, but Luu Kah had a smile on his lips when he looked away.
Ramsey meant what he said, though. He didn’t feel like talking about it with anyone at first —not even with Délia, because he didn’t want her to worry about him any more than she had already— but he knew he could trust Luu Kah. And even if he was nervous about it for a moment, he did expect him to listen carefully… which he did more often ever since Ramsey had been saved from the stone curse.
“Alright.” Luu Kah glanced at him with a playful expression. “Do you think that a little sparring session would help clear your mind, too? I feel like I’m rusting when we’re home for too long.”
Ramsey laughed; he agreed with that last statement. Without waiting for his answer, as if he knew already, Luu Kah got on his feet and held out a hand to him. Ramsey raised his chin to look at him. He simply grinned and took his hand, accepting the offer.
#luuram#luu kah#ramsey#my scribbles#idk how hard it is to follow without having the details of the story but let's say it's not the most important? lol#sorry#writing this mostly for myself i guess#anyway luu kah's definitely in love with ramsey at this point#but he's good at acting casual :')

Interest II
Characters: Kaeya, Xiao, gn!reader
Word Count: 3,020
Warnings: Swearing
Premise: Sometimes emotions can be confusing. In those times it can be easier to shut down. After all, wouldn’t finding the truth out be scarier?
In which the reader assumes their character is disinterested, and pulls away.
Author’s Note: I wrote a lot tonight! It was nice to write for multiple characters again, made me feel like the good old days, or something.
Hope I’m finally getting back on schedule and hope you enjoy!
Kaeya
If Kaeya flirted with you, he also flirted with all of Mondstadt; or so you kept telling yourself.
You liked the cavalry captain, you liked him a lot. It was easy to like him, as easy as breathing air. The thickets of romance, the awkward looks, the stilted conversations, the dying words. None of those things existed in Kaeya.
If there were roses there were thorns too, and though you tried to convince yourself that this emotion, this easiness was something good, there was a part of you that fought back at the idea. The reason things were so easy with Kaeya was because of one simple reason. He didn’t like you. Or not the way you liked him. Kaeya flirted with all of Mondstadt after all, and you were merely one library assistant in the middle of an entire country. Your existence wasn’t one for the history books. Not compared to the man that you’d managed to fall hopelessly in love with anyways.
At first you tried to ignore those voices, that cynical side of yourself that existed only, it seemed, to make you unhappy. You weren’t necessarily an optimist by nature, but you were a bit of a hopeless romantic, and flirting or not you at least hoped to get your point across. Delivering Kaeya’s library requests first, always going up to him at lunchtime to talk, even giving him a special gift for the Windbloom festival. You really did try, you didn’t think that the opposite could be argued. Still things continued on as relatively normal however, Kaeya’s flirting never seeming to grow particularly towards you. Eventually it became harder and harder to avoid the voice in your head sneering you were wasting your time. Or maybe you were just tired.
Either way the answer seemed to be obvious. You knew when the answer was to count your losses and move on, and surely this was one of those times. Kaeya wasn’t going to see you as a partner, he just wasn’t. That didn’t mean he wasn’t kind, or that your conversations with him weren’t lovely, or even that you weren’t still in love with him. Still, wasn’t it time to move on to kinder winds? You wanted a clean break, wanted an end to your painful waiting; didn’t want to experience that clench in your heart when you watched Kaeya flirting with someone else as the point just drove further and further home. You wanted reprieve, and the only way to do that was to admit the obvious. This wasn’t going to happen.
So you gave up, or did your best attempt at giving up. You still spoke to Kaeya, the gods knew you probably couldn’t stand not speaking to him. You still tried to keep as light as before, tried to retain the dynamic, for something was better than nothing. Yet your days of simply chasing after him were over, and as you settled into you schedule of new normalcy you found, though things weren’t necessarily easier, at least they seemed simpler. Besides, how much had really changed? Kaeya most likely didn’t notice.
“Kaeya, the manuscript you requested on Liyue trade history came in yesterday. There were also a few other things that came in, though Lisa told me they’re classified.”
“Oh Lisa, always a stickler for rules. Would you like to know what I requested?”
“Like you would actually tell me,” you snorted. “No, I’m fine. It’s none of my business.”
“Aw,” Kaeya pouted slightly, crossing his arms in front of him. He seemed to be doing that more often these days, though maybe you were simply imagining it. “Where’s your sense of adventure darling? You seemed to have lost it somewhere.”
“I’m just following rules,” you pointed out.
Something had shifted about the conversation at some point, and you were suddenly feeling an undercurrent that hadn’t been there before. Finding it uncomfortable you quickly removed the space between you and Kaeya, reaching out to place the brown paper wrapped books into his hands. Taking them Kaeya lifted an eyebrow. Turning around he went to put them on his desk.
The momentary reprieve in atmosphere you felt quickly died, as before you had time to turn around the cavalry captain was back, this time leaning closely towards you.
“What is it?” You asked. This was certainly Kaeya behavior, but it still startled you nonetheless.
“You’re acting funny.”
“What? I’m acting completely normal.”
“If you say so.”
But the tone conveyed that Kaeya didn’t agree one bit. A smirk painting his lips he turned around, though something bitter seemed to flash behind his eyes, and for a moment you wondered if he had somehow caught on to the secret you’d been hoping to keep to yourself.
After that things seemed to continue on as normal for a few weeks. If Kaeya’s books were secretly transgressive, they certainly weren’t doing anything actively, and life as an assistant librarian to the Knights of Favonius retained its languid, unhurried pace. Still a part of you had never forgotten about that weird snippet of conversation, one which was doing a surprisingly good job at eating away at you.
You were almost relieved when Kaeya brought the matter up again.
“Is something wrong darling?”
“You asked me that two weeks ago Kaeya.”
“Really? It’s been that long? I must be neglecting my duties,” he let out a careless sort of laugh, before his eyes steadied. “I was hoping that this time I might get a more honest answer.”
“So you think I’m lying to you when I’m saying nothing’s wrong?”
“Yes.”
“But I’m not! How could I be lying to both you and myself.”
“I find that doing such a thing is a surprisingly easy task. Nevertheless, even if you aren’t lying, there is something wrong.”
“And what would that thing be, Mr. Expert?” For some reason this conversation was aggravating you. Maybe because you couldn’t decide whether or not he was right.
“I don’t know, I was hoping you could tell me. I can’t say sorry for something I’m not aware of, I don’t know what I did. You do though. So the sooner you tell me what’s wrong the sooner things can go back to normal.”
“What do you mean by normal Kaeya? If anything this is more normal. Not that things have changed that much. I’m sorry I don’t deliver your books first, if that’s what you’re complaining about. But frankly, I don’t see what you’re so upset about? You’ve got plenty of other friends, so why are you complaining to me?”
Maybe it wasn’t your best use of logic, but your ability to circle around the focus of the conversation, the unspoken emotions that still burned through you, was somewhat lacking.
“This is not normal. I’m not talking about library books, I’m talking about friends. Or maybe avoidance. You’ve been avoiding me lately, even if you aren’t doing it completely. It wounds me, you know. My dearest companion, what did I do to earn their ire?”
“You did nothing.”
“That’s obviously a lie.”
“It’s not.”
“It is,” Kaeya voice was clipped, matching your same tone. Even now he was shifting himself to better fit the atmosphere in the room, something you normally valued so deeply.
“It’s not. It’s really not! That’s the problem Kaeya, don’t you see?” Tears that had threated the corners of your eyes were now burning across your vision, as your emotions finally broke through the paltry excuse for a dam you’d been building. “You’ve done nothing, you’ve never done anything. You’re always nice, and flirty, and a bit shameless. And that’s fine! It’s not your fault that you don’t feel like I feel for you. I don’t want to make you feel guilty. You flirt with everyone, and that’s fine. I don’t care! I really don’t. I don’t want to burden you. Still, can’t you just let me feel upset by it? Can’t you just let me give up? Do you know how painful it is not to give up? Why won’t you let me at least do that, but no! Instead you come in here talking about how everything’s different, as if I’ve offended you, or as if you worry would change anything. Of course it won’t! And it shouldn’t! But damn it Kaeya, I just want to be upset!”
By this time Kaeya had closed the space between you two, wrapping his arms around you and running soft, slightly cool, fingers through your hair. You nestled into him, despite yourself. You were so tired and so angry, and right now it didn’t really seem to matter who you cried on as long as you were crying on someone. Letting yourself be carried away by your emotions you let your ragged breathing unleash itself inside the walls of Kaeya’s office.
Eventually you calmed down. Though you expected Kaeya to step away when your breathing evened out, instead he remained there, continuing to run comforting fingers though you hair, his other hand gently cradling your shoulder.
“I’m sorry. I didn’t realize that was the reason.” It was simple, direct. Undeniably Kaeya.
“What else would be the reason,” you grumbled.
“I don’t know. It’s why I asked. Thank you for answering me.”
“You forced me into it.” There was no true venom behind your words. You were sure Kaeya knew that.
“Is there anything you want to tell me?”
“No.”
“Not yet?”
You shook your head. “Not yet.”
“That’s alright. Now’s not the best time anyways, since I ought to look my best. Not that I don’t look amazing already, but I should dress up for an occasion such as that. Still, I hope that eventually you’ll allow yourself to live in a way that doesn’t make you unhappy. Sometimes we can’t do that. This time you can.”
“Maybe.”
“Good. I’ll be waiting for you darling, and you know how impatient I am.”
“What if you have to wait for a long time?” You were feeling quite contrary.
“Then I’ll wait. After all, I’ll have quite the reward for my patience.”
You smiled into Kaeya. Despite yourself, you knew it wouldn’t be that long.
Xiao
With Xiao, the question was always boundaries. How far is too far? How far is not far enough? It was an endless maze, even if it was a maze you would gladly continue to explore, sure that the light at the end must lead to something truly beautiful. Still, you didn’t exactly need your emotions to come in and complicate something already so difficult to navigate.
At first you tired to ignore, to take a page from the book the yaksha you’d so hopelessly fallen for had written. Yet if was much harder than it ought to be, for loving Xiao seemed to come as naturally as breathing, and no amount of looking for faults seemed to be doing much to change that. After all, everyone has faults, and nothing could change the innate goodness you saw in Xiao, the wonder and light that he carried with him, despite his millennia of hardships.
At first you thought to tell him, to cross that border, find that boundary and test it with all the patience it had taken to test and cross those other boundaries.
“Xiao?”
“Mmm.”
“I, I have something to tell you.”
“What?”
“I, I made you some Almond Tofu!”
Xiao let his eyes widen with characteristic surprise, before leaping down nimbly from his perch to take the dish you brought out from behind your back. You watched as he ate it happily, warmth running through your veins. Nevertheless a part of you cried in frustration, perhaps even pain, for you knew you had failed to do what you had set out to do.
It wasn’t simply that you feared losing Xiao’s friendship, feared losing his respect. It was the boundaries, those invisible lines you were so careful not to step over. Xiao needed those boundaries, you knew he did. Though he had told you very little about his past, what he had told was horrific, and you hardly doubted that Xiao’s survival, his failure to spin into madness, was because of those walls he’d carefully constructed around himself. You wanted him to shed those walls yes, to slowly emerge from the darkness which he held around himself. But you weren’t ready to push him to do so, or not very much at least. It wasn’t truly in your nature to do so anyways.
So you expressed your feelings as best you could, with tofu and flowers and all the kindness you had to offer. When you weren’t working, spending your time sewing for a high-end Liyue shop, you were with Xiao. A part of you assumed that it would be enough, that if you gave Xiao enough of your time and enough of your attention the barriers would magically break down. One day you’d wake up and they’d be gone and you’d be happy, having never pushed things too far.
As nothing truly seemed to change however you grew slowly discouraged. You weren’t really aware of your flagging hopes, not really. It was more that you were busy, you were so busy. Besides, Xiao hadn’t expressed much sadness over losing your company. Perhaps he was secretly relieved, perhaps you had pushed too far at some point and he hadn’t told you. Maybe it was best that you give his boundaries time, and not push it too far.
Even looking back it was hard not to call the logic sound, or at least sound to you. In some ways you and Xiao were cut of the same cloth, and though that brought with it an understanding, it also brought its own set of issues. Neither of you were willing to walk over the line that the other drew, even if you could not see where they had actually drawn it. Even if not doing so was painful, the fear of what pain might come if you did was too great a discouragement.
So you began to slowly fade away, without being entirely aware that you were indeed doing so. You were busy after all, and Xioa was most likely too. He was still a yaksha after all, a being whose life was almost completely disconnected from your own. Surely it wouldn’t be that surprising if his views were similar? Maybe you truly had crossed a line, and that was why he never seemed to enquire after you. Or maybe it was that you hadn’t mattered all that much in the first place.
It was a wet, cold autumn day. You sighed slightly as you unlocked your door, having gotten drenched by protecting a bold of fabric you were bringing home to cut and pin. Letting out a huff, you opened the door and went to take a nap. You must’ve been tired, for it took a few seconds for the screech of surprise to leave you mouth at the sight of the unexpected intruder waiting for you.
“Xiao! You scared me!”
You stared at the yaksha, very much surprised by the sight of him. Your surprise had very little time to register though, being quickly replaced by concern for the storm so clearly gathering in Xiao’s eyes.
“You were gone for so long.”
“I’m sorry Xiao. It’s just been so busy you know, everyone’s preparing for the change in season. Besides…”
“Besides?”
“I didn’t want to bother you. I mean, I know you also have a job, and though I want you to find happiness outside of it, I don’t want to pressure you.”
Xiao’s facial expressions evidently conveyed that he was not impressed. Searching for the right words you let your gaze drift towards the floor. You weren’t sure that you were ever going to be ready for a conversation like this, but certainly not in the state you were now. Still, you owed Xiao some sort of explanation. Of course you did.
“I’m really sorry Xiao. I should have found time for you. It’s completely my fault.”
“That’s not what I want.” Xiao’s tone was gruff, frustrated. You found the frustration mirrored within yourself.
“What do you want?”
“I,” Xiao flushed. “I don’t want you to apologize. I’m not blaming you for anything. You shouldn’t apologize for nothing.”
“Sorry,” you mumbled.
Xiao shook his head. For a moment he just stood there, eyes stormy. Slowly though he reached out to take your hand. You found the act surprisingly comforting. You had missed Xiao’s hands, delicately built, calloused beyond believe. They felt comforting and warm and safe, and you wished you could never let go of them. Drawing strength from that you slowly raised your gaze slightly.
“What do you want, Xiao?”
At first Xiao said nothing. Perhaps he was staring at a line, contemplating whether to cross it. You had half the mind to apologize again, but managed to stop the words from coming out. You knew that it was just a force of habit. Besides, Xiao hadn’t said anything yet. A small spark of hope burned inside you, the hope that something might go well.
There was a gentle tug on your wrist and suddenly you were in Xiao’s arms, his hair gently tickling your nose.
“This,” he mumbled. “I want this.”
For a moment you felt yourself freeze in shock, but soon enough you found yourself melting into his embrace, wrapping your own arms around him. Xiao was warm like a heater, warm beyond that too. It was as if there was something in his soul. Gentle, flickering, it brought you happiness that you never thought you could imagine. You wanted to bask in it forever, it was worth any twists and turns you might have to take to reach it.
“Don’t disappear again.”
“I won’t.”
“I should have come earlier.”
“It’s alright. Hey, Xiao?”
“What?” Xiao’s arms tightened around you slightly. You didn’t want to talk much more either.
“What do you think of me?”
Xiao let out a soft snort. “I thought that was pretty obvious.”
“What?”
“I love you.”
It was more than you could have ever hoped for.

Sweet Night
Pairing: Artist!Taehyung x Heiress!Reader, Heir!OC x Reader
Genre: Fluff (yes, only fluff today, enjoy), Ex Roommates AU, Enemies to Lovers AU, Arranged Marriage (Heir!OC x Reader)
Word Count: 4.8k
Summary: Neither you nor Taehyung were expecting you to show up to his art exhibition, let alone when everyone was already gone, for the two of you were well aware that you didn’t have much of a choice when it came to attending your possible future husband’s charity event instead. Then again, neither of you were counting on your brother and sister in law to take your side and drive you all the way over to him so you could surprise him before the day was over.
A/N: Helloo! This is part 24 of my Social Media AU “Belong”, but you can read it as a stand-alone one shot if you want! I would like to make a shout out to my 🇫🇮 anon for giving me the Jimin idea (you know which one, I changed it a bit to make it fit the story better, but still). I hope you guys enjoy!
Looking away from the backseat’s window, your eyes focused on your trembling hands instead — the city lights as you passed them by being the only source of light as your brother drove through the streets of Seoul, which for some reason seemed to be extremely long that particular night.
The light music Miyoung had taken upon playing on the radio from the passenger seat, in an attempt to create a somewhat calm atmosphere for you and the nervousness she was sure you were feeling, had yet to make you actually calm down. If anything, you could feel your shaky hands become sweatier by the second as you felt a tingle of anticipation in your chest.
Although you wanted with everything in you to attend Taehyung’s art exhibition, you had got out of bed that morning being mentally prepared to spend the entire day at the Lee’s charity event.
You had been ready to spend most of the day with your parents pretending that everything in your relationship was alright, perfect even. You had been smiling for the cameras all day, greeting people you were sure were just pretending to have the perfect life as well, and being forced to make small talk with the ones who used to be your friends yet had turned their back on you as soon as they had found out you were choosing a more modest life over the luxurious one — the same so called friends of yours that had to keep quiet about your little secret if they didn’t want your parents to destroy their family’s business. After all, your family was with no doubt the most powerful one in Korea. And honestly? You couldn’t help but see it now as a curse, after having spent a lifetime believing it was a gift.
Not only that, but you had also spent most of the day next to Sungjin, lovingly posing for the cameras and holding hands, making you wish every single second it was Taehyung instead. You were sure that way it would’ve been more bearable. What you hated the most was the fact that you knew said pictures were being posted right away, meaning Taehyung would see them, and you hated the utter thought of having the man you had feelings for see you acting like a happy couple with someone else — even more after you had to cancel on him to attend an event with the one guy he had asked you not to bring with you to his art exhibition to begin with.
And yet, after having to endure all of that, here you were — a little over an hour after Taehyung’s exhibit was done, being driven over there by your brother and sister in law, while Jimin held him back at the gallery, and you not even knowing what you were supposed to say at all once you saw him. You couldn’t help but wonder if maybe this whole impromptu apparition of yours was a good idea at all. It had been a long day for him, you knew that for sure, and although he had told you earlier that day that he would’ve loved to have you there, maybe by this point he just wanted to go home and get some rest.
You didn’t have much more time to think about that, though, for just as you remained deep in your thoughts, Seokjin pulled up right in front of the address you had given him before. Looking up from your fidgeting hands, you were met by two pairs of eyes already focused on you.
“Do you want us to go with you?” Seokjin asked, hand on his keys, ready to pull them out at your command.
“Um…” you hesitated, leaning closer to the window as your eyes travelled around the rather isolated street in search of any paparazzis, finding yourself to be quite relieved when you saw none of them around. “Maybe just until I find Tae”.
They nodded, exchanging one last look before they made their way out of the car right as you did. Feeling the cold breeze of the night as soon as you closed the door behind you, you couldn’t help but hug yourself, sticking close to Jin and Miyoung as if you were a kid heading to school with her parents after being called by the principal.
Right as you were about to reach the entrance, however, Yoongi made his way out of the building, looking the other way before his eyes fell on all three of you.
“Hey,” he greeted, politely bowing his head, which you didn’t wait to reciprocate. “I came to see if you were anywhere near, Jimin is going crazy trying to come up with more excuses for Taehyung not to leave”.
You chuckled at his comment, imagining just how troubled your friend must have been. After all, and to be fair, you had taken a good while to get there. “Well, I’m here now”.
“That I can see” he sarcastically replied, eyes travelling from you to Seokjin, and then focusing on Miyoung. “Are you all coming in?” his eyes went back to you.
“Is it just the three of you inside?” your brother spoke up before you could nod. As far as he had understood, it should have been only Jimin and Taehyung inside.
“Oh, no” Yoongi denied. “Namjoon-ie is with us, too”.
“Namjoon?” Miyoung wondered, puzzled eyes going up to your brother. Given her reaction, you couldn’t help but wonder if maybe she knew what the rest of you didn’t when it came to those two.
Seokjin bit the inside of his cheek, giving her a knowing look before his eyes went back to Yoongi. “Actually, I, um… I just remembered Miyoung-ie and I have things to do, so…”
Although your sister in law looked troubled for a split second there, she wasted no time in nodding her head. Looking at Yoongi, she struggled to get the words out of her mouth. “W-We do! So, um…” her eyes focused on you. “We should probably leave. Is it okay?”
“Sure…”
“You’ll be okay?” she pushed it, earning a small laugh from you over his motherly ways.
“She’s in good hands” Yoongi reassured her, receiving a genuine smile from her that only caused his lips to part into one of his own as well.
“Okay” she sweetly replied, giving him a small nod as a sign of gratitude.
Seokjin playfully nudged her, grabbing her hand so the whole marriage thing could at least be a little bit more believable. “Shall we go then?”
“Mhm…” she replied.
“Call me when you’re done here” your brother demanded.
“Oh, I’m sure Taehyung will drive her home” Yoongi’s words got chills running up your spine.
“Okay,” Jin’s eyes travelled from Yoongi to you. “Call me when you’re home then”.
“I will” you obediently complied.
With that said, your brother and sister in law turned around, leaving you alone with Yoongi, who didn’t wait to motion towards the door for you to go inside.
“After you” he politely said.
You smiled, taking in a shaky breath before you took a step in. Suddenly all the nervousness you had felt on your way here came right back to hit you in the face, not knowing at all what to do once you were in front of the guy you had ditched the Lee’s event for — not even knowing how he would react at all, yet hoping he would be happy to have you there.
You didn’t get too much time to mentally prepare, for as soon as you entered the place being followed by Yoongi, you caught a glimpse of the backs of the other three men inside as they faced one of the many paintings that brought some life to the neutral white covering every single wall of the gallery. And it was a matter of you taking a few steps towards them for three pairs of eyes to be set on you. However, yours were only focused on one particular pair of them — those chocolate ones that displayed a mixture of surprise and pure happiness in them.
“You’re here?” Taehyung asked the obvious once you reached their side, causing his friends to chuckle in amusement.
“Seems like it…” you nervously managed to get out.
Silence took over as big smiles were plastered all over your faces — on yours and Taehyung’s, as the two of you were happy as hell to see each other, and on his friends, for they were having a blast watching the two of you awkwardly stand in front of one another with those dumb smiles of yours, not knowing what to do next.
“Come on,” Jimin chimed in, placing his hand behind your back and lightly pushing you towards Tae. “Your girl fooled her parents into coming here, the least she deserves is a hug”.
With a giggle escaping Tae’s mouth, he didn’t hesitate to wrap his arms around you when your body was about to collide with his. Feeling your heart going wild at the warmness of his touch, you wrapped your arms around his waist as well, resting your face on his chest and taking in his scent right as he lowered his head just enough to bury it in your neck.
“Thank you for coming” he mumbled.
A light chuckle abandoned your mouth, deciding to say nothing and instead just nod your head and wrap your arms tighter around his figure.
“Okay, I think this is our cue to go” Namjoon’s voice broke the comfortable silence you had fallen into.
“Yup” Yoongi agreed, patting Jimin’s back to catch his attention, as he was shamelessly taking pictures of the two of you to remember the moment his friends somewhat got together. “Let’s give the love birds some privacy”.
Nodding his head, Jimin shoved his phone back into his pocket — neither of them bothering to say goodbye not to kill the moment the two of you were sharing, and just quietly leaving the gallery instead.
Once you heard the front doors being closed, Taehyung pulled away, cupping your face in his warm hands and smiling at the sight of you. “I never thought seeing you would make me this happy”.
“Yah, Kim Taehyung” you called him out. “I’m sure you can be sweeter than that”.
He chuckled, rolling his eyes at how spoiled you had become when it came to him and his show of affection. “I’m happy you’re here, princess”.
You smiled, resting your hands over his and drawing small circles with your thumbs on his skin. “I’m happy I’m here”.
His smile turned sweeter somehow, lightly pressing his forehead on yours before a chuckle escaped his mouth and he amusedly shook his head.
“What is it?” you wondered.
“Nothing,” he laughed, pulling away and letting go of your face. “It just makes sense now why the guys were trying so hard to keep me here. Specially Jimin”.
“Was he losing it?” you laughed.
“Totally” he nodded. “He made me go over the whole exhibition again and explain each one of my paintings at least twice to him” his eyes travelled to one particular spot on the wall right next to the painting they had been admiring when you walked in. “When he ran out of pieces to ask me about he pointed at this small crack on the wall and asked me how I had come up with such a deep concept”.
This time, you couldn’t help but tilt your head back as a throaty laugh escaped your mouth — one that had Taehyung giggling, absolutely loving the sound of your laugh.
“He’s an idiot” you stated. “But he kept you here for me, so…”
“That he did” he smiled, biting his bottom lip as his eyes unconsciously travelled down your body — that pink dress of yours sure did look even better in person. “Aren’t you cold?”
Your eyes instinctively went down to your uncovered legs and then to your uncovered arms, remembering how you had hugged yourself outside minutes ago because of the cold air of the night. “It’s alright in here”.
He nodded his head. “My coat is by the entrance, in case you get too cold”.
You smiled sweetly, yet it didn’t wait to turn into what seemed more like a teasing smirk. “So you told me earlier today that you wished you had got to see me in this dress and now you want to cover it up?”
Taehyung rolled his eyes in amusement. “Don’t get me wrong, princess. I already told you I think you look beautiful and am most definitely enjoying the view right now” his bold words brought heat to your face. “I’m just looking after you”.
“How sweet of you” your sarcastic tone didn’t really match your flustered expression. “I’m okay for now. Will let you enjoy the view for a little longer”.
“How considerate of you” he was quick to follow your sarcastic antics, silently enjoying that particular choice of yours.
“I know, no need to say it” you playfully squinted your eyes at him, later taking a look at the whole gallery. “You think you could show me around?”
He nodded, a bright smile already taking over his face. “It will be my pleasure” his dramatism got a playful roll of eyes from you. “Where would you like to start?”
“This one is alright” you pointed out, moving closer to the painting you already had in front. “So,” you began, eyes tauntingly going to the crack next to his painting. “Tell me about how you came up with such a deep concept”.
“Shut up” he amusedly rolled his eyes.
“No, but seriously now” you smiled, this time staring at the piece of art in front of you. “Tell me about this one”.
Taehyung’s art, you had found out quite a while ago, tended to be on the abstract side. Therefore, it was even harder for you —or anyone for that matter— to interpret.
This one piece, just like the tag placed above it on the wall let you know, was called ‘Winter Bear’. You could clearly see the winter, the palette of colours he had used just screamed cold days and melancholy. Nevertheless, the bear mentioned in the title was nowhere to be found in the painting — instead, you managed to tell apart what you thought was a little boy, somewhat hidden in between all the colourful strokes surrounding his figure.
“That’s me” he pointed out when he could no longer deal with the confusion in your face, managing to draw your attention back to him.
“What?” your bottom lip stuck out in a pout. “What is the word ‘bear’ doing in the title then?”
He chuckled. “It’s art, you dork. You can name it anything you want”.
“I think it must mean something, though…”
Taehyung bit his bottom lip. Of course you would know better.
“That’s what my grandparents used to call me” he confessed.
You nodded quietly, understandingly — not really knowing what to say yet not wanting to stay silent. “You must miss them so much…”
“Sometimes,” he nodded. “I mean, not a day goes by in which I don’t miss them, it’s just that… it’s been years so… you kinda grow used to it” his shoulders moved up and down, in a shrug that tried not to make it seem like a big deal. “The whole exhibit was related to winter, so it naturally reminded me of them and how they used to call me, and… I guess I got too personal with this exhibition”.
You gave him a sweet smile of reassurance, reaching for his hand and holding it in yours. “It’s your art. It’s supposed to be personal”.
The boxy smile that he gave you right then was all it took for your heart to skip a beat, later taking in a shaky breath when he intertwined his long fingers with yours and his thumb drew small circles on the back of your hand.
Your eyes went back to the painting in front, trying your best not to let him know what his touch did to you. “I love it” you stated, much to his pleasure. “Love the way it seems to make no sense when you only read the title, yet it makes complete sense after you explain it”.
He smiled wholeheartedly. “I think it just makes no sense” his words had you furrowing your eyebrows in confusion. “Not everyone is lucky enough to know the true meaning behind it”.
You giggled. “Lucky me then”.
“Lucky you” he agreed.
Tugging at his hand, you moved on to the next painting, and then the next one, and so on. Not a second had gone by in which you had let go of each other’s hand as you commented on the different paintings and the meanings behind each of them — the two of you finding yourselves having the time of your lives as you gave him your take on them and he confirmed whether or not it was what he had tried to portray.
That was what each of you liked about art so much, the fact that there was no wrong answer and you could discuss it so freely. Sure, he had something in mind the moment he painted each one of his pieces, but it was always fun to see what the rest of the people would feel when they looked at them.
And, for some reason, it was particularly enjoyable to him when it came to discussing art with you. So he had found out back when he invited you to one of his friend’s exhibits. It was different than talking about it with his friends, and he didn’t know if it was the fact that, unlike them, you actually knew about art, or just the fact that it was you.
Maybe both.
Tightening your hold on his hand when there were only four more artworks left, you moved on to the next one, having your jaw drop at the sight of it.
“Hey, this is the one I fixed” you blurted out in both surprise and excitement, unconsciously moving closer to it and dragging Taehyung with you so you could appreciate it better.
Although you were excited to see it there, you couldn’t help but feel your face heat up at the memories it brought back — the fact that you had collided with it and spilled coffee on it, still being both upsetting and embarrassing as hell.
You remembered quite well the way you had ran out in search of an art shop to find the necessary supplies to fix it before Taehyung could get home. Maybe you should have been faster. Not like that would’ve been of too much help, though, for whether you wanted to admit it to yourself or not, you knew very well he would’ve noticed something was off with his newest creation right away.
Looking at the different shades of blue and touches of yellow right then brought you back to that night you pulled an all-nighter, meticulously trying to recreate his painting — the hardest part being that you had only got to see it for a split second before the coffee that used to be on your —by then— broken mug had ruined it. You could only be thankful that it had been just a particular part of the painting and not all of it.
Staring into the picture, you had to stop yourself from reaching your hand out to it and trace your fingers over the pair of eyes you could tell apart in yet another one of his abstract works. You had not truly paid attention to them that one night you spent in Taehyung’s living room fixing his painting, for you had been way too invested in the details you had ruined. And you couldn’t help but feel relieved over the fact that the hot liquid had not touched the eyes he had so perfectly portrayed, for although they looked quite familiar somehow, you weren’t sure you would have been able to do any justice to them.
“I didn’t think you were actually displaying it” you mumbled after a few seconds, eyes still fixed on the painting.
“Why wouldn’t I?” he cocked one of his eyebrows. “Not to be that guy, but it’s quite good”.
“Yes,” you agreed in a heartbeat. “But you can tell one part of it is quite different to the rest of it”.
“You did a good job fixing it, princess” he recognized. “No one could really tell the difference”.
“I can tell” you mumbled.
Taehyung laughed under his breath. “Will you just look up to its title?”
Doing as told out of curiosity, your eyes darted up in a heartbeat — feeling them well up with tears when you read what the label above the artwork said.
“Sweet Night”, ft. Ariel.
Looking up to hold back the tears you felt so dumb for even having in the first place, you shook your head as the corners of your lips curved slightly up. “You did not just credit me after being the one to ruin it to begin with”.
“Hey, I wasn’t taking full credit over something I didn’t completely paint” he stated. “Plus, it’s smart, don’t you think? No one will ever know this Ariel person is no other than the infamous Kim Y/N”.
“You really didn’t have to…”
“I wanted to” he stated.
You bit your bottom lip, no longer being able to hold back your smile and letting it part your lips like it had been threatening to. Taehyung couldn’t help but laugh under his breath over how adorable he thought you were, not even dreaming of stopping himself when he let go of your hand and placed his arm over your shoulders instead, pulling you closer to him as the two of you stared into the artwork in front.
“Why ‘Sweet Night’?” you wondered, leaning your head on his body.
He shrugged. “It’s silly”.
“Come onnn,” you pouted, pulling slightly away so you could look at him. “Out of all the paintings here, you can’t leave out the explanation to this particular one”.
Taehyung sighed, knowing well enough that, one, you were right, and, two, you were not letting this go until he told you.
“It was inspired by that one night I came home to you and Sungjin” he said rather bitterly, remembering pretty well how he had not been fazed at all by the fact that you and said guy had obviously been making out right before, yet feeling his blood boil at the mere thought of it now. “We stayed up late eating lots and lots of sweet popcorn because I had way too many of them and you became addicted to them and how well they went with wine” a small laugh escaped his mouth at the memory. “So I just went with that. Plus, you were being really sweet that night and it was the first time I got to see that side of you, so…”
“That is really sweet” you mumbled, feeling the heat reach your cheeks.
“Don’t” he pleaded.
You laughed. “It truly is sweet, Vante” the way your eyes had softened at the sight of him, had his heart skipping a beat. “What do the eyes mean, though?”
“You just want to torture me by now” he called you out.
“I’m just asking!” you defended yourself with a giggle.
Taehyung rolled his eyes, feeling the heat reach his face as he intently focused on the painting, evading your eyes as he spoke.
“I’ve never been a fan of people having their full attention on me, I don’t like being the center of attention… I mean, I told you today how I was not looking forward to the moment I would have to give a speech in front of all my guests” you nodded, remembering how you had tried to cheer him up when it came to that. “So I don’t really talk about my art… or about art in general, to anyone. I just show it to them and let them interpret it, that’s what art is about, after all. But that one night you asked me a lot about my art and I actually felt like talking about it with you, and I remember the way your eyes were fixed on me almost as if you were scared you would miss some kind of important detail,” he laughed lightly. “And for the first time I liked the attention. I guess that inspired me enough to paint this”.
“So those are my eyes?” you asked.
He shrugged. “It’s up for interpretation”.
You shook your head in amusement, staring down as you felt your face burning. “You’re the worst”.
Taehyung chuckled, pulling you closer to him with the arm that was still around your shoulders, and using his free hand to place two fingers under your chin and make you look up at him. “Am I now?”
You felt your breathing become heavier the second his nose faintly bumped on yours — his lips only centimeters away from your anticipating ones. Too intimidated by him right then, knowing well enough he had you wrapped around his finger, you managed to shake your head no to answer his question, without taking your eyes away from his for even a second. Or well, that until his chocolate ones travelled down to your mouth.
Staring down into his tempting lips as they slowly came closer to yours, you looked up to his eyes for a split second, just enough to catch a glimpse of the way his remained fixed on your mouth. And then, you saw nothing — eyes instinctively closing when his lips softly trapped your bottom one.
Just one touch of his lips made you wonder how you had managed to go on all these weeks without getting a taste of them again.
“I thought you didn’t do this whole ‘friends with benefits’ thing?” you whispered against his lips, opening your eyes to find his dark ones already fixed on you.
A small, breathy laugh escaped his mouth, leaning in so it would faintly brush against yours. “I’m not kissing you as a friend”.
Your lips parted into a smile, not letting another second go by before you pressed your lips to his, making him smile and cup your face in his hands just like he had done weeks ago with the intention of deepening the kiss.
With your arms wrapping around his neck, you pulled him closer to your body, letting go of the kiss for a second to catch your breath and having him take advantage of your slightly open mouth to trap your bottom lip in his eager ones again, this time tracing his tongue over it and slipping it inside your still open mouth — meeting your awaiting one in the middle just the way he wanted.
Letting go of your face, one of his hands travelled down to your lower back so he could feel you even closer, fingers tracing their way down your bare arms as he did so, and feeling goosebumps form on your skin.
“You’re cold?” he asked, taking one second to catch his breath before his wet lips were back on yours.
You shook your head no, a small, shy laugh escaping your mouth. “I didn’t get chills because I’m cold”.
Taehyung bit his lip, feeling the corners of his mouth curving up and pressing one last kiss to your lips before finally pulling away from you as his eyes were intently fixed on yours.
“I will keep my coat to myself then” he teased you.
“Nope,” you were quick to deny. “I am taking you up on the coat offer when we leave”.
“Okay” he laughed lightly, the hand that was still on your face travelling down your arm to intertwine his fingers with yours. “Shall we go?”
You shook your head no quite effusively. “We’re not done with the exhibit yet!”
“I’m hungry, let’s go eat something” Taehyung whined. “We can come back some other day”.
“Yah,” you called him out. “I came all the way here just to see your artworks”.
Your words earned a somewhat bitter pout from him. “Thought you had come all the way over here to see me”.
You couldn’t help but let out a chuckle at that, tugging on his hand to pull him closer, and then making him replace said pout with a smile when you pressed two chaste kisses to his mouth. “It was implicit” your teasing words had him rolling his eyes. “We only have three more to go and then I’m all yours”.
He smirked, pulling you with him to the next piece. “I like the sound of that”.
“I meant it as in, then we can go get some food” you mumbled, feeling your face burning for what felt like the millionth time that night.
“I know” he pecked your lips. “Doesn’t change that I enjoy the sound of that”.

Balloons
Pairing: Natasha Romanoff x reader
Warnings: cursing, arguing, and Clint (since he seems to be a sensitive topic for some of you)
Word Count: 3.6k
Summary: Natasha surprises you with balloons. What do you get for her in return?
A/N: It can get a little confusing, so just for clarification, a single dash (-) indicates a flashback, and three dashes (---) means a skip forward in time. Also, this takes place during the Snap.
“Hey, I’ll be back in a couple of days, okay?” Natasha barely looked up from her computer screen, but she heard your murmurs, going so far as to lean into your touch as you pressed a gentle kiss to the top of her head.
If you didn’t love her, you would’ve scrunched your nose, judged her for what must’ve been days without taking a shower. Instead, your brow furrowed slightly as you leaned over her, allowing your arms to drape over her torso, your hands clasping together at the center of her chest.
“Take care of yourself, okay? No more peanut butter sandwiches.” That elicited a groan from your wife. Her eyes remained on the monitor in front of her, but she still sunk into your embrace, her body almost on autopilot once she felt the familiar contact. “Promise me, Nat. I’ve left enough meals for the next two weeks in the fridge. All you have to do is microwave them.” A low sound left her mouth—maybe it was an “okay” or an “alright,” you really couldn’t tell—but you knew that was all you were getting from her at the moment. So, with a sigh, you brushed a quick kiss to her cheek and pushed yourself to stand straight.
“I love you, Nat.” It was only then that she turned around, finally allowing you to see the sparkle in her eyes that, more so now than ever, she reserved only for you.
“I love you too, malysh. Be safe. And call me if you need anything.”
“So you’re saying I can call and ask for you?” The redhead chuckled, leaning out of her chair to grab you by the hands. Once you were standing in between her legs, one of her hands trailed up to your cheek before pulling you down to kiss her.
“Anytime, malyshka, anytime,” she murmured, her lips brushing against yours as she spoke.
“I’ll be back as soon as I can, yeah?” Natasha nodded at you. The last thing you saw as you walked out the door was her characteristic smirk, the sly wave of her slender fingers, and the way her body was slumped against the chair, another sign that betrayed just how long she had gone without sleep. You had to succeed at this, for her.
---
It was pouring when you found him. You don’t think you would’ve seen him if it weren’t for the neon signs, their reflections against the growing number of puddles lighting up the street. But you didn’t need to see him to find him; the yelling and clashing of swords were enough to tell you where he was.
“What are you doing here?” His voice was gruff. It was clear he didn’t want to see you.
“I’m here to bring someone back.” He had yet to turn around, and yet you could still hear him scoff despite his turned back and the patter of rain.
“Then keep looking.” You rolled your eyes before clearing your throat and straightening up. Maybe he wouldn’t be able to see your growing assertion, but you’d make sure he heard it.
“I’m here to bring you back.”
“Don’t you have a wife to be getting back to?” You almost flinched at his words.
“How funny, I wasn’t sure if you even knew we got married.” Yes, Clint was your friend, but you didn’t forget the way Nat’s eyes shined with hurt when she looked in the crowd at her wedding and noticed that her best friend wasn’t there. It was just another thing that made her doubt what she was doing, wonder if she was a monster for moving on while everyone else suffered. You almost lost her that day, having to get Steve to pause the ceremony as you took her off to the side, desperate to make her stay.
-
“Nat, every day I wake up I think of all the people that we lost, just like that. But you’re still here, and I can’t lose you too. And if wanting to hold onto the one good thing I have left in the world makes me a monster, then-” She had pulled you close, kissed you through the tears that ran down her cheeks.
“You could never be a monster, my love.” Your foreheads pressed together as she whispered, allowing you to see the crystal droplets, physical evidence of the internal struggle she felt every day.
“And neither can you. Marry me?” She simply nodded, and you thought you couldn’t have been happier, more relieved.
But she proved you wrong only minutes later when she read her vows out to you, her eyes only leaving the crumpled paper to look at you, to make sure you were still there, as she tried to make her true feelings known. Her voice was nothing more than a whisper—you were sure you were the only one who could hear her, but that was more than okay with you—as she told you, “You told me I’m the only good thing you have left in the world, but you are my world. If I lose you, I’ve lost the world. It doesn’t matter how many other planets there are, how many galaxies exist outside of our own. There’s nothing after you.”
You pulled her into a searing kiss, not caring that Steve had yet to tell you to kiss your bride.
You were married. You were hers, and she was yours.
-
And he missed it. Clint missed one of the most important days in his best friend’s life. He still hadn’t responded when you spoke up again. You were bringing him back no matter what. Because she needed you to.
You got him to come back with you. You honestly weren’t too sure how you’d done it; maybe he was just too tired to argue anymore. But it didn’t matter because the two of you were getting in a Quinjet and going back to Natasha.
It took less than twenty minutes for you guys to be off in the air. You set the aircraft on autopilot and left the seat, heading back to put away your things.
“I will admit, I thought we’d be moving a little faster.” Your head cocked to the side at Clint’s words, not quite understanding what he meant.
“Trust me, we’re going as fast as we can. We should be there in a couple of hours.” You were almost out of earshot when he spoke again, but his words caught your attention as if he had screamed them at you.
“What’d you get her for the anniversary?”
“Wha- what do you mean? What’s today’s date?” And as Clint sighed with a shake of his head, you felt your heart sinking in your chest. He didn’t need to answer. You thought back to yesterday’s phone call and you knew exactly where you’d messed up.
-
“Hello? Nat? What are you doing awake? It’s late, you should be asleep.” There was a pause over the phone, and at first, you thought she’d hung up.
“I, um, I just wanted to check in on you.” It wasn’t so much the fact that she called or her words as it was her dejected tone that grabbed your attention, immediately made you concerned.
“Are you okay? What’s wrong? Do you need me to come back?”
“No, no, I’m fine,” she quickly reassured you. “Just… you sure you’re not forgetting anything?” You scanned the supplies you’d laid out on the dresser. A weapon or two, a couple of toiletries, only the necessities. But nothing was missing.
“No, I think I have everything. Why? Did you see something at home?” Another pause. And, still, you chalked it up to bad connection, or maybe the fact that it was late for her, she must’ve been tired.
“No, you didn’t leave anything at home.” You took one last glance at your things before nodding and launching into your plan for how you were going to get Clint back. She wasn’t as excited as you thought she would’ve been, but you never caught it. Even when you ended the call and all she gave you was a quiet goodbye, you never caught it.
-
You entered the compound with a crash, scrambling to find Natasha. It was nighttime when you got back, the lights automatically turning on one by one as you ran through each of the rooms, each of them full of furniture but devoid of life.
First, you reached the kitchen. Natasha hadn’t put away the candles, the wicks drowning in wax as if nobody had bothered to blow them out. One plate of food—which was much fancier than any of the meals you had left for Nat in the fridge—lay untouched on the counter, and you knew that, if you dared to open the fridge, there’d be another plate waiting for you.
Next, you made your way into the living room. A vase of roses sat on the coffee table, but one of them was already wilted, a petal threatening to fall off if you so much as looked at it for too long. A small bunch of heart balloons hovered in the corner. The shadows fell on them in just the right way it seemed, with them looking more like they were threatening to chase after you rather than welcome you home.
You went to your bedroom next. You doubted she would’ve been in there, but some small part of you hoped that you and Clint were wrong; you hadn’t actually missed anything, and Natasha somehow pulled herself away from her work to grab a few hours of sleep. But it wasn’t your wife on the bed. Instead, an unfamiliar yet friendly-looking teddy bear sat on the comforter, the card next to it standing upright. And though every part of you yelled at you not to open it, you did.
It was storebought, but that wasn’t what affected you. What finally broke the dam, made the tears stream down your cheeks, was the brief message she’d written on the inside.
“I know I haven’t been the best wife lately, but you are still my world. The sun, moon, stars, it’s all you, malyshka. It always will be. Happy anniversary.”
It was only then that you set off for the one place you were sure Natasha would be.
---
The smell hit you before you even entered her office. Then, you heard the somewhat incoherent grumbles, each word charged with more anger and sorrow than the last. And so it was more to your horror than surprise when you found her still at her desk, her head in one hand and a bottle of vodka in the other.
“Natty…” A flash of red filled your vision as her head whipped up to see you, but you weren’t sure if the color came from her cheeks or her hair.
“Oh, so you still remember my name?”
“Natty, please, I’m so sorry. I was so hun-” At first, your wife seemed slightly surprised, as if she wasn’t expecting you to apologize. Or maybe she wasn’t expecting you to know what you were apologizing for.
“Don’t you dare call me that right now, Y/N.” If her order didn’t sting, her use of your actual name definitely did. But you pushed away those feelings; right now, it was about her, the way it should’ve been about her yesterday.
“Natasha, let me explain. I was so focused on Clint, on the things we had to get done here. The dates really meant nothing to me.” Her flinches were delayed, slightly sluggish, but they nevertheless hurt to see.
“So the date of our wedding means nothing to you? I got you balloons, Y/N, I got you fucking balloons.” You flinched, but it wasn’t at the sound of the vodka bottle slamming down on the desk or at her words. It was at the words she’d told you on your six month anniversary of dating, the day she’d surprised you with a dinner at a three Michelin star restaurant and a night in a five-star hotel, a luxury you’d never experienced before and never thought you’d have in your life, let alone while you were on the run from the US federal government. But, you’d had to remind yourself as Natasha pulled you into the hotel room with a giggle, this was the world’s best spy you were dating. Of course, if anyone was capable of pulling this off, it was her.
-
“What are those?” you’d gasped, the glint of the dim lamplight on the mylar catching your attention.
“I got you balloons,” she’d chuckled as she pulled you into her embrace. “I love you so fucking much that I got you balloons. God, I’m such a sap.” You met her lips in a sweet kiss before pulling her closer, if that was even possible.
“You’re my sap.” Nat pressed another kiss to the corner of your mouth, loving the way it curved upwards in a grin. Loving the fact that she made it do that.
“Well, duh, you think I’m going to go out and get balloons for Tony?” You simply giggled, the champagne the two of you had enjoyed earlier that evening only strengthening the joy that bubbled in you. “No. Never. Only for you, detka.” She had punctuated each sentence with a kiss, each one being on a different spot on your face.
“You got me balloons,” you finally whispered, meeting her eyes.
“I got you balloons,” the blonde agreed. You loved the way the green orbs captured your own gaze; you could bathe in the love they held for you.
-
But at this moment, you felt yourself drowning in the sorrow filling her eyes, the fact that she wasn’t crying being one piece of dignity you couldn’t maintain no matter how hard you tried.
“Nat,” you slowly stepped closer to her, your footsteps being the only sound filling the room during the pause. “That’s not what I meant. I just meant I barely processed what day it was at all. The only thing I was focusing on was getting Clint back.” A small part of you knew that Natasha was far too hurt and drunk to be reasoned with at the moment, but you still tried. And the rejection hurt just as much as if you hadn’t been expecting it.
“You don’t love me.” You were by her side in an instant, quick to refute her point.
“That’s not true at a-”
“You don’t love me! Just admit it, Y/N. You don’t love me.”
“Natasha, please-” Your vision was so clouded by tears you could barely make out your surroundings, but the anguish on your wife’s face was somehow clearer than it had been all night.
“You only love me when it benefits you! God, how was I so foolish to believe you could ever love me back in the same way I love you?” And though you tried to stop her, pleaded with her to just listen to you for a second, she never even hesitated for a second, the remaining vodka threatening to spill out out of the bottle with how she swung it in the air. Her insecurities from your relationship, the ones you had spent night after night reassuring her of, were coming out in full force, each word thrown out of her mouth being another punch to your gut.
But it was her last sentence that made you almost double over in pain; the way she looked at you, eyes glassy and her lower lip wobbling, the way she spoke, her voice airy and broken, the way her face was contorted, as if something had broken inside of her. Maybe something had.
“Did I really make you feel safe, or did I just help you not to feel alone?”
-
You knew she was standing outside of your room well before she knocked. Well, you knew someone was standing outside of your room.
Sure, you weren’t expecting the normally-closed off assassin to be the one who entered when you let out a measly “come in,” but you were too wrapped up in your grief to care.
“Wanda made dinner.”
“I don’t want it.” You didn’t have to turn your head to know how she was standing, feet shoulder-width apart and arms crossed over her chest. And maybe, if you cared, you would’ve been scared, but for all you were concerned she could come running full speed at you with widow’s bites in her hand and you wouldn’t even flinch. Maybe you’d welcome it.
“It’s not a negotiation. You’re coming to dinner. You haven’t eaten all day.”
“I’m not hungry.” At first, Natasha didn’t respond. You thought you were safe. She’d turn around, close the door behind her, and you’d be alone once again, the way you should’ve been. The way you always should be. But instead, you heard her approaching footsteps and felt the mattress sink as she perched herself on the edge of your bed.
“You deserve to eat, Y/N. Just because you made a mistake-”
“A mistake is forgetting your phone at home, Nat. I got people killed. I deserve to die.” Natasha paused for a moment, and you felt the weight of her hand as she rested it on your ankle.
“You’re not the first of us to do that. Do you think we deserve to die too?” Anger and frustration swelled in your chest at her words. Of course they didn’t deserve to die; how could you agree to that? But she didn’t understand, you were different because you were you.
You hated the way she trapped you with simple logic, wanting to scream and yell for her to get out. But she was the woman of your dreams, so you stayed silent. She’d leave eventually. They all did. Or maybe you just made them leave, who knows?
But she was there 5 minutes later, 10 minutes later, 15. Half an hour passed and she was still sitting there, her posture just as perfect as when she first sat down.
Another half an hour passed before Natasha sighed, the corner of the mattress lifting. But she didn’t leave the room. Instead, she rounded the bed and sat down next to you, hands folded in her lap and her back against the headboard.
“You’re not going to leave?” you finally asked.
“No.”
“Why?” You hated the way it came out cracked and broken. You were the one who messed up; why were you also the one falling apart?
“Because you deserve to be forgiven. And you don’t deserve to be alone. I’ll stay until you realize that.” It amazed you how she said it so matter-of-factly, how she said it as if it was painfully obvious.
“Then it looks like you’re going to be staying the night.”
“Good thing I wore my pajamas.” It wasn’t until she said that that you finally turned around to look at her. Why was she wearing her pajamas?
“You knew I wasn’t coming out.”
“I had a feeling.” Her shrug was nonchalant, but the way she picked at her fingers suggested she was more nervous than she was trying to let on.
“Why are you here, Tasha?”
“Because I care,” was her answer, spoken softly yet firmly, as if she was challenging you to oppose her. But you let her.
You let her slide down, lay her arm over you. You let her lay a kiss on your forehead, hold you while you slept, fend off the screams of the departed so your dreams didn’t turn into nightmares. And just before you finally dozed off, getting the rest you’d been deprived of for days, you murmured something so quiet she could barely hear it. She’d never forget it.
“Ever since I joined the Avengers, I’m always waiting for someone to leave. Someone getting hurt, getting killed. They’ll leave one way or another and I won’t be able to get them back. I’m always on edge. But you make me feel safe, I think.”
-
“Tasha, you know that’s not true at all. Please,” you tried walking towards her again with one trembling hand outstretched, just to get her to put down the bottle, just to pull her into your arms as you tried to physically show her just how much you really did love her, just to do anything.
She backed away.
It hit you then; you weren’t going to get her back. Not now, at least. Nothing you could say, nothing you could do, could get her to listen to you at this moment.
“Just leave me alone,” she whispered, as if she could read your mind. You always thought the two of you were connected in some way. Maybe she could tell what you were thinking.
But it seemed the connection stopped there. She couldn’t understand how your feet were glued to the floor, how your heart stopped for the umpteenth time that hour, how your eyes scoured any and every part of her for want of some sign that things would be okay. She gave you nothing but a renewed hardening of her gaze, as if she had just remembered her days as one of the world’s most formidable assassins.
“Fine. I’ll leave.” And just like that, she was gone. It didn’t matter that she almost stumbled over the leg of a chair, or how you got an extra strong whiff of vodka as she passed by. What mattered was that she was gone.
---
Natasha got you balloons, filled you with joy and love as if you were a child at the center of attention during their birthday party. And you, distracted by all the other decorations that surrounded you, had let them go, the strings slipping out of your grip and floating to unreachable heights.
You had let her go.

a/n. Ok I’m really really sorry about this, I had an ask in my inbox and I think I accidentally deleted it or something, I don’t know what happened. its just not there but I’m gonna answer it anyways.Basically the ask was about making a fic out of this video, go watch it for a little bit of context (it is a little nsfw, you have been warned)
After that disastrous prank from the boys, you were left hot and needy. You gather your things from the couch, where previously there was a calm ambient of doing homework, now it was just an uncomfortable place because you were sweating buckets. On the way to your bed you left your notebooks and pencils on the desk and lay down on the bed.
Looking back at those pictures, your imagination was left to run. What could those jim shorts be hiding? The thoughts of them around you, making you feel good in all the ways possible, made your mind wander-- and your hand too.
Sneaking a hand into your cute lacy panties, you imagine its someone else’s hand, any other hand but yours. Your finger touches your clit, rubbing small, light circles around it in a teasing motion.
“H-hah- I...” your hand quickly covers your mouth in an attempt to silence yourself. You take off the damp fabric from your heat, lifting your legs to slide it off and throw it into some unknown corner of the room. The room grows hot, as well as your insides, it know has a lust-like vibe. Your body sits straight taking off your shirt and bra, massaging your breast with your left hand while rubbing yourself with the other one.
A few minutes of this made you bored, reaching for the bottom drawer of your bedside table where you hid all the good things. Your breath hitched at the sigh of the familiar toys, the blue dildo and the small bullet vibrator. Taking your previous place on the bed you turn on the small vibrator on the lightest setting and rub it over your nipples, teasing them and leaving breathy moans to slip out of your mouth.
The feeling of the vibrating bullet on your sensitive nub made you go crazy, thinking about how good it would feel to have one of those sexy boys tease them while filling all of your holes. You dragged it through your entire body, from your upper stomach to where you needed it the most.
You were lost in the pleasure, very lost in the pleasure. Still, you could never be lost enough to ignore the ringing of your phone. Your body jumped involuntarily at the scare, scrambling to find the source of the annoying sound that interrupted your session. That’s when you saw it.
Video call from the group chat.
Not just any group chat, the one with all the men you were just fantasizing about. Fuck. There’s no way you couldn’t join, they would think something is wrong with you, when really you’re just trying to get off. You throw on the shirt you had previously discarded.
“Hey hey hey! (Y/n)~ How are you feeling?~” Bokuto’s teasing, sing-song voice welcomed you into the call after you hit the green button on the screen. Even if the group chat was a big one, a few of them weren’t in the call. The ones who usually went to bed early were gone, so that means Kageyama, Akaashi and Asahi were not in the group call. Memories of the prank made you gush, your slick dripping onto your ass and eventually to the sheets, since you didn’t have enough time to throw on some panties, but that’s fine. It’s not like you’re gonna show them anything.
“I’m feeling good y’know, after being harassed with such lewd pictures I’m feeling just peachy!” the sarcastic tone really evident in your voice. A few of them laughed, some remained silent. You didn’t care, you just wanted the call to be over so you could resume your previous actions. Then Kuroo spoke.
“Yeah here’s the thing (Y/n), if you weren’t reading the chat” which of course you were not, you were too busy trying to relieve the heat these boys had caused you. “We were actually gonna ask you if you could maybe send us something like that?”
“Wh-what?”
“You don’t have to do it if you don’t want to, but if you did we would never send those pictures to anyone else” The thought of them, wanting to see you in a picture as provocative as theirs made you blush. Your face turned red at the thought, it all felt too good to be true...like a prank.
“Alright... very funny, yeah right” but the boys could not understand what you were saying, they genuinely meant what they said, so they were taken aback that you wouldn’t believe them. Then Tsukishima chipped in on the awkward silence.
“Does it look like were ki-”
“What’s that?” you heard Tendou question. That’s when you looked to your right and saw the dildo, in all its glory, completely visible to the camera. All this time you’ve been talking while all the boys could see the toy you used- or were planning on using.
You quickly cover it with your sheets and cover your own face with your other hand to hide your growing blush and the tears on the corner of your eyes, for one more embarrassing moment with these boys and you would snap.
“How lewd (Y/n)” Nishinoya spoke, his teasing tone not helping you at all.
“Hey come on guys, stop it” said Sugawara. And then there was an awkward silence once more, honestly, it would’ve been better to be endlessly teased than to be in the thoughts of everyone. You could tell they were all silently judging you by the way they stared at the camera. That’s when you broke down, not full on sobbing, just a few tears that trickled down your cheeks.
“Whoa, hey-- sweetie, what’s the matter?”
“Nothing its jut that I feel so bad, I was about to touch myself thinking about all those pictures you guys sent me a-”
“Wha- wait a second, you were going to touch yourself thinking about our pictures?” Tanaka asked, though you couldn’t tell if he was going to be judgy about it or if he genuinely had curiosity. “As in... put that thing inside yourself thinking about us?”
The nod of your head makes the whole group crazy. Just thinking about you, shoving that toy into your heat with your thoughts fixated on them, that made most of them hard, except for Ushi. He simply cleared his throat and said:
“Can you show us?”
“WHAT?!”
“If you feel uncomfortable doing it then don’t but I think everyone here is hard and we could all use the relief, including you soo...”. You couldn’t believe what you were hearing. These men, some of them older than you, even, wanted to see you masturbate.
“Are you sure this isn’t a prank?”
“It’s not a prank (Y/n), we all want to see the same thing so if you feel like doing it, whenever you’re ready would be a good place to start” added Oikawa. You swallowed the saliva that had gathered up on your mouth, by this time, the sheets beneath you were soaked in your essence. Someone looking at this from an outside point of view might have described it as peer pressure, but when you set the camera on the end of your bed and spread your legs to show them how hot and bothered they had made your cute little cunny, well, you didn’t feel pressured at all. In fact it all felt so normal, as if this was something normal friends did.
“Oh my god” “Soo hot” “Spread them wide baby” and other praises could be heard from the phone. All the different voices worshiping you and ordering you around made you feel somewhat safe, like you had lost a bit of your control, but you had given it to the right people.
It should be noted that at this time everyone was hard, including Ushijima. You took off your shirt again and a few cheers from Tanaka and Nishinoya were heard. You then did what you would normally do in a horny night, except of course, with the exception that there was a phone with nine friends in front of you.
“Touch yourself for daddy”
“Uh-huh, I’ll be a good girl for you daddy” pushing your fingers into your hole. “Your cocks are all so pretty” moaning at the sight of they’re long members on the camera, as they used their hands to relieve the hardness.
“You’re being so good for us sugar, put in another finger” Sugawara’s orders made you clench around your small finger, reminding you that it wouldn’t be enough to satisfy you. A loud moan slips past your lips as you enter another finger into your wet heat. “Good girl, now put the vibrator to your clit, darling”
Doing as you’re told you moan at the sight of all of them jerking off to your sweating figure. Tanaka and Kuroo were in the same position as you were, sitting on your bed with their legs spread to get better access to their cocks, Ushijima, Bokuto and Tsukishima appeared to have their cameras right in front of their dicks, just so that you could get a good close look on how their hands were working on themselves. The rest of them were in different positions that you couldn’t make out because you drifted your gaze to the ceiling, searching for something to help you, to save you from the immense pleasure you were having.
The little bullet making you shiver in ecstasy. The way your fingers couldn’t reach that special spot inside yourself made you feel sexually frustrated, but you kept fingering yourself, for the sake of all the hot men who were panting and moaning like crazy in front of you. Even if you couldn’t do exactly what you wanted to, you were feeling very good, and you were so close to your orgasm.
“Pull out your fingers and put in the toy” Nishinoya ordered. For a small boy he had some big balls, (metaphorically)
“But daddy! I-I’m sooo close...daddyyyyy” And you came, your sweet juices seeping out of you as you rubbed yourself with your fingers to gather a bit of your slick. You take that same hand to your mouth, licking all the creamy substance off.
“Ugh, baby” and they moaned out lots of different nicknames, all of them making you clench around the emptiness in your hole. You grab the dildo once again from under the sheets and tease yourself with the tip at your entrance looking into the camera to give the group a good show. Keeping your eyes fixated on the camera you shove the toy into your abused hole. When you feel it reach your pelvis.
“Daddy, y-...y-you’re so deep inside me-... h-hah” the pace you set is slow, as you realize, too slow, even for you. “Its so big d-daddy!”
“Shut up and take it like a good slut” Tsukishima exclaims, which makes you go harder and deeper into your cunt. You lift your head from where it was buried in the pillows and look at your pussy, the way its taking the big toy makes you clench around it, making it harder to pull it out and push it inside.
“(Y/n)- p-please keep going, I-I’m gonna cum”
“I-I’m not-... I can’t-t stop” you say pushing the toy further inside and hitting your g-spot. The volume of your moans increases with each hit to that special spot inside you. “I’m go-...a-ah-ah! Daddy I’m cumming”
“Cum, make a mess l-like the good girl you are d-darling” Suga said in between all his moans. Your insides threw out the blue toy and started spraying your clear essence. You take a hand to your clit to make it last longer. Gushing all over the place, on the bed sheets and even on the phone, which of course only brought the men closer to their climaxes as well. By the time you were finished and taking in what just happened, all of them had released and were just panting in the afterglow of their orgasms.
“Wow” “That was so hot” and other commentaries where made by them.
“We should do this more often”

Chapter 3 - Call
Gojo Satoru x Female Reader
Tags: Friends with Benefits, Smut, Solo & Mutual Masturbation, Dirty Talk, Phone Sex
Summary: With Gojo away on a mission, you decide to take the initiative by calling him for a little bit of fun.
A/N: ~
- - -
Two months into your little arrangement with Gojo, you began noticing how certain aspects of your friendship started changing.
For one thing, Gojo could barely keep his hands off you. When you would sit next to each other, he would drape his arm lazily around your shoulder as if it belonged there. When having idle conversations with him talking about work or gossip, he would stare at you attentively while stroking your thigh. Most recently, while you were hanging out at his place, you were caught off guard when you felt him brush your hair away before delicately planting a kiss on your forehead.
At first you thought about telling him to stop, figuring his actions might be overstepping the boundaries you both set up. However, you changed your mind when you realised how nonchalant his behavior was. You figured his intentions were purely based on the fact that he could touch you in ways that he wasn’t allowed to before. Besides, Gojo was really good about ensuring not to make a serious move when the two of you decided to hang out instead of “drink” together.
You were surprised with how easily he switched from his fun, lovable self to the insatiable beast that would have you submit to his every word. Initially, you couldn’t bring yourself to make the first move around him, using a simple manipulation tactic of distraction that would ultimately force Gojo to take action.
Then the night at his apartment happened, where he had you flat across his kitchen counter while his tongue was working magic between your legs until you were unraveling in front of him over and over again. You were calling out his name in desperation, begging him to give you a break from the overstimulation but he refused. In the end, he left your body trembling from the final orgasm he gave you before lifting you up slowly and holding you close to him. He kissed your swollen lips, all before reaching for your hand and guiding it down to his pants.
“ Learn to use me like how I’m using you…” he whispered, “...stop holding yourself back. Otherwise, I won’t fuck you.”
“I am using you,” you insisted with a pout, your hands motioning over his hardened member as you began rubbing him over his pants.
A soft groan escaped him and he eloquently replied, “if you won’t even kiss me when you want to, then you sure as hell won’t be comfortable with my dick inside you…”
He was forcing your hand and your resistance was waning. He was becoming your favorite distraction, especially on the nights when you were feeling lonely.
Gojo was away on a mission and you had no idea when he would be back. He didn’t exactly live by a normal schedule but it’s been over a week since you last saw him and you really needed to relieve some of this sexual frustration that’s been running rampant in your mind.
You texted him while on your way home from work, asking him to call you if he was free later in the evening.
Once you arrived at your one-bedroom apartment, you gave yourself some much needed time for self-care. You cooked dinner then followed up with a long shower to relax from your own tiresome work week. After applying your face routine, you changed from your towel to a pretty light blue underwear set, opting for some luxury wear instead of your usual comfort clothes of sweatpants and an oversized tee.
You took a second to admire yourself before slipping on your silk robe. You haven’t felt this beautiful in your own skin in a while, and while you would never admit it to Gojo, you found that being desired by him made you feel good.
You’ve been in a limbo of grey since breaking up with your ex, who spent the last six months of your relationship cheating on you before leaving you for the very same person he was fucking on the side. You gave him your heart and soul, allowing yourself to fall in love with him only to be shattered in the end. He left you picking up the pieces, to slowly glue yourself back together but managed to leave an irreparable wound in your heart.
Of course, you never told Gojo the real reason why you broke up when it happened. When the announcement came, it caught your friend totally off guard.
“ What do you mean it’s over? I was planning on ordering a custom suit for your wedding!”
Gojo had no clue that your boyfriend’s unfaithfulness left you with a sense of deep rooted shame.You weren’t used to keeping secrets from him but you did not want to show how weak you were. Three years of wondering what went wrong, of trying to puzzle together why you weren’t good enough for your ex, of stopping yourself from calling him when you were alone, of suffering from your own misery...
You made your way over to your bedroom, stepping over the mess of laundry on your floor that you were choosing to ignore and falling back onto your mattress. You reached for your device to check your notifications, hovering over the chat you had with Gojo before locking your screen and placing your phone by your side.
There was still no reply.
You were growing impatient and decided to take matters into your own hands until he responded.
You tangled your fingers around the belt of your robe, thinking about Gojo’s lips on yours. You weren’t shocked to learn that he was an exceptionally good kisser. The act itself was sinfully addictive and you realised that you could kiss him forever and never get bored.
When Gojo got naked in front of you for the first time, you were surprised to find that despite his tall and somewhat lanky frame, underneath all that clothing was a sculpted being. He had muscular legs which you loved grinding against, the broadest shoulders that you desperately clung on to for support as you reached your peak and a strong torso that your body easily melted into after you climaxed. The man was physically flawless and he knew it , which made it worse for you because he played on his attractiveness to get exactly what he wanted out of you.
You loosened the robe, spreading your legs and noticing the heat building from your lower abdomen as your mind raced at the thought of him. You brought your fingers to your folds, massaging them over the lace fabric but picturing his hands instead. You were thinking of the way he would purr in that low, sexy voice of his, praising you while you were down on your knees for him.
“Mmmm, that’s my girl…”
“You’re doing so fucking well, angel…”
“Keep going, baby, I’m almost there...”
You loved that he used these pet names on you when you were intimate with him. Even more, it was the gratified reaction from his own lips as a result of your actions that sent a chill throughout your body. You couldn’t wait to finally feel him inside you and listen to the kind of filthy words he would spill while fucking you.
Your hand slipped underneath your underwear, two fingers deep in you pumping furiously while your other hand gripped onto the bedsheet. You allowed yourself to be as loud as you wanted, putting on a performance that Gojo would surely regret missing. Even if your neighbors heard you next door, they would not be able to tell that you were on your own climaxing yourself to a fiery orgasm.
“ God , I needed that…” you sighed, your eyes falling heavy as you slowly came down from your solo session.
Feeling significantly better, you stretched your arms overhead before glancing over at your phone and laying by your side. A little disappointed but not surprised that Gojo still hasn’t responded.
***
You sat up, dazed and unaware of when you fell asleep. You were surrounded by darkness except for the luminous glow that flashed from your phone. You glanced over your shoulders to find it ringing, squinting for a second to try and see who was calling you at this extremely late hour.
“Hello?” you finally answered, realizing that your throat was dry from your deep sleep.
Gojo sang your name on the receving line, his tone surprisingly energetic. “I got back to the hotel a little while ago and saw your text. Did I wake you?”
You checked the time before replying, “it’s three o’clock in the morning what do you think?”
“ I’m sorry, ” he cooed. “I can let you go back to sleep if you like...”
“No, it’s fine, I’m awake...” you replied, adjusting your position so you were sitting against the frame of your bed. “Late night?”
“Yeah…”
“All okay?”
“Nothing to worry your pretty little head over...”
You swallowed hard at his comment. Of course you were concerned for his safety but Gojo never revealed what he dealt with and sometimes you felt irrational for being scared about something you knew so little about. Yes, he loved bragging about his victories against curses he deemed as weak but ones that posed an actual challenge to the sorcerer?
Those ones he refrained from talking about.
“To what do I owe the pleasure of your lovely text?” Gojo asked, changing the subject upon hearing your silence.
“It’s been stressful at work this week. We have a new project coming up and our boss is up in arms about ensuring it all goes well, which means I’ve been working late most nights…” you paused before continuing your explanation, “I feel kind of silly complaining about it now but I just thought I would call for a fun chat. You know? Get my mind off some things?”
“What kind of fun are we talking about here?”
You smiled to yourself, “we never actually figured out how to grab drinks while you were away…”
“ Ahhhh …” Gojo teased, a hint of amusement in his tone as he perked up at your words. “I should have known. You don’t usually ask me to call you while I’m gone. Not going to lie, you had me a little concerned...”
You blushed at the thought of him worrying about you, “I don’t want to keep you up though, it’s late anyway. You must be exhausted…”
He cut you off with a chuckle, “...same rules still apply even if I’m away. If you just texted me with our usual message, I would have called with a much better hello. Let me guess, I already missed out on some of the fun ?”
“ Maybe… ” you seductively replied.
He clicked his tongue in disappointment, “that’s a shame…”
“I know and I’m wearing the lace set you like so much…” you added, coaxing him with your teasing words.
“Mmmm, I do love how you look in blue.” he stated. “Tell me, what exactly were you thinking of when you decided to have “fun” by yourself?”
“Before I answer that, I just need to know something…”
“What is it?”
“Do you have your blindfold on?”
“No…” Gojo replied, slightly confused.
You tapped the back of your phone lightly, “well, well...looks like I’ll just have to wait then...”
“Are you serious? I can’t even see you!”
“It doesn’t matter! If you won’t take it off when we are together then you have to wear it at all times...that’s what you said…”
You could feel Gojo rolling his eyes at you. “Fine, fine! Give me a minute…” he huffed.
You giggled to yourself, humming as you waited.
“ Smart ass,” he teased, letting you know that he was back on the line.
“Hey, I’m just playing by the rules!”
“And I’m ready to play with you ... ”
Before you knew it, Gojo had ordered you to get naked. You were tangled up in your sheets, your body writhing from his dirty talk as you masturbated. Gojo kept saying how much he missed being buried between your legs, how much he wanted to taste that sweet cunt and how desperate he was to fuck you.
“Mmm, you’re such a fucking tease, doing this to me while I’m away...you best believe that once I’m back I will fuck you so hard you won’t be able to walk straight...”
You mewled in response, feeling yourself so close to your release that you could not speak.
“ Say it, ” Gojo directed, knowing that he can barely hold on himself due to the sounds of your pleasure. “I want to hear you say it…”
Gojo went silent, his breath growing heavier as he was losing himself to the moment. You could hear him pumping his cock, finally pushing himself to his own release. A moan escaped you, your back arching off the bed as you parted your lips to speak. Your voice pitched as you whimpered into the phone and telling Gojo the exact words he has been dying to hear.
"I want you to fuck me, Satoru..." you begged. "Please, fuck me ...”

A Small Surprise
Another week had passed since your encounter with Cillian at the theatre and you missed interacting with him, especially now that you broke up with Darcy once again.
Once again, Darcy had become verbally abusive towards you and you were devastated and upset about his behaviour. You became to realise that, most probably, he won’t ever change. You often thought about Cillian’s words. You were too young to be wasting your time on someone like this.
But, despite your breakup, Darcy called you at least ten times a day, trying to apologise. You ignored his calls, but, unfortunately for you, you still had to interact with him at theatre practice and art school.
At least, Anita was there for you and tried her best to prevent you and Darcy from having arguments while dealing with each other in a professional capacity. But it wasn’t easy.
Since your latest and hopefully final break up, Anita had also tried to hook you up with her brother, but you really weren’t interested in dating anyone after what you have encountered with Darcy.
Despite your disinterest in dating, you struggled to get one man out of your head and this was Cillian.
Since you became to know what he was doing for a living, you could evermore so understand his reluctance to get involved with someone your age. It would almost be cliché for an actor to date someone half his age. The backlash would almost be ridiculous.
In the same vein, you were really not keen on dating an actor. The ridiculous filming schedules, the gossip and the fact that people would look at you differently would certainly upset you and make you uncomfortable.
Yet, you couldn’t forget about him and the kiss you shared. The kiss he initially returned and which felt so amazingly good.
There was something about him that you hadn’t found in any man before. It was almost like you had known him for years and yet, you barely knew him at all. You felt comfortable in his presence and it felt natural to be around him.
With these thoughts on your mind, it was easy for you to let go of Darcy this time around eve though you knew that you could never have Cillian. Or could you?
It was a Sunday afternoon that Craig came home after spending some time at the pub celebrating a friend’s birthday.
He looked somewhat tipsy when he walked inside and Ella became rather frustrated with him. It was almost too funny to watch.
You noticed him carrying a paper back.
‘Y/N, this is for you’ Craig said as he handed the bag to you.
‘Uhm, thank you’ you said, surprised by his gesture.
‘Oh, don’t thank me. Cillian asked me to give this to you so thank him’ Craig said, unsure about what was in the bag. He believed Cillian’s gesture to be odd but didn’t dare to question it.
You walked into your room, curious about what was in the bag.
Unsurprisingly, it was a book entitled ‘The History of Irish Theatre’.
You and Cillian had talked about this book following your little incident at his house.
He thought that it was very educational for anyone who is interested in Irish literature and play writes and he said that, when he goes back to his house, he would get it for you so that you could read it.
You opened the book, very keen to read it.
To your surprise, Cillian had left you a note inside which, amongst other things, contained his mobile phone number and an offer to help you with rehearsing the play if you needed it and wanted an outsider’s opinion.
He also was kind to tag the pages relevant to your play in the 350 page book.
You took out your phone and saved his number before texting him to say thank you.
He responded almost immediately. His response was short but that is what you would have expected from a man in his 40s.
About an hour later, you received another text message from him.
‘I have four tickets to a play at the Abbey which I think you might like. You could go with some friends from your theatre group and your boyfriend. Unfortunately, it’s for a Sunday night though’ he texted.
You responded by thanking Cillian for the offer and telling Cillian that you had broken up with Darcy before taking the courage to ask him whether he would be interested to come with you to see the play.
An hour after your text, you still hadn’t received a response and you regretted asking him. After what happened between you, you thought that you must have taken it too far.
Another twenty minutes later, as you were in the shower, the phone rang.
You quickly jumped out of the shower and answered your phone while the water was still running in the background.
‘Hi, Cillian’ you said shyly as you shivered, still being wet from the shower.
‘Am I calling you at a bad time?’ Cillian asked, observing the background noise through the phone.
‘No no, not at all’ you said.
‘What’s that noise?’ he asked.
‘Uhm, I was just having a shower’ you said and, just after you said this, you realised how inappropriate your comment was once again. There was an awkward silence on Cillian’s end following your comment.
‘Right’ he said before taking a pause.
‘About Sunday, I have seen the play already with some friends but I am happy to take you if you want’ he said before taking another pause. ‘As a friend that is’ he added, qualifying his offer.
‘Of course, yes’ you said shyly.
‘I think that, if we go together, I should probably invite Craig and Ella and suggest that you come with them’ Cillian suggested, being mindful that, otherwise, this might awkward.
‘Yes, sounds good’ you said.
‘Great, I will let you get back to your shower then’ Cillian said with a laugh.
‘Alright…and thanks’ you said.
‘You are welcome’ Cillian responded before hanging up.
To your surprise, a day later, Cillian told you that Craig and Ella weren’t interested in the play but had no problem with you going to see it with Cillian and some other friends.
You felt somewhat awkward about Craig and Ella knowing that you were going to see a play with their mutual friend. But Cillian assured you that they didn’t think anything of it. In Ireland, everyone was friendly and welcoming and interactions like this weren’t suspicious. In fact, Cillian had even told Craig that he had offered to help you with your theatre project and that he believed that the play you were going to see would really help you with your perspective on contemporary Irish theatre. With Cillian being double your age, Craig simply thought that it was a nice gesture and Craig also knew that Cillian could do with some friendly company after yet another fight with his fiancée.
Instead of Craig and Ella, Cillian ended up inviting his youngest sister Janet and her husband John. They both enjoyed theatre and had recently returned to live in Dublin after spending five years together in London.
You met Cillian and his sister and her husband at the theatre and they were very welcoming. You thought it was going to be strange, meeting Cillian’s family, but it wasn’t at all. His sister was in her late twenties and you could relate to her.
You talked about many things before the play started and she was surprised when she learned that you were only 20 years old. According to her, you appeared very mature for your age.
Change of Mind
‘You know she’s nice, smart and very pretty’ Janet said to Cillian about you after you excused yourself to go to the bathroom right before the play started.
‘And she is 20 years old and I am still in a relationship’ Cillian chuckled in response to her comment.
‘And here you are, choosing to attend this play with her instead of your fiancée’ Janet giggled.
‘Because my fiancée and I are taking a break and Y/N is just a friend’ Cillian chuckled.
‘I think you already made up your mind about your fiancée. I know you brother. I am not blind either. I can see the way you look at Y/N. You like her a lot’ Janet said.
‘Janet, she is 20. Now can we change the topic please’ Cillian said firmly.
‘So what if she is 20?...I like her. She seems nice’ Janet said before her husband John had to comment just like a man would.
‘Just count yourself lucky Cillian. Not every man your age has a shot with a young woman like her. Also, you wouldn’t be the first actor who goes there trust me’ John said, causing Cillian to chuckle.
‘Enough now, please’ Cillian said just as you returned from the bathroom.
When you returned to the table where Cillian, Janet and John were standing, you finally heard the theatre bell. Cillian seemed somewhat relieved that the play was about to start and you made your way inside, taking your seats.
Just as you sat down, you saw Darcy with his parents and brother. Your heart sunk and you hoped that he would not see you. But he did, almost immediately.
The situation had officially become awkward and, just as Darcy saw you, his father spotted you and Cillian as well.
He came over to greet you and Cillian which, instantly, raised a lot of questions.
Cillian explained to Darcy’s father that you were a friend and, just as he did, the bell rang again, telling everyone to take their seat.
This was lucky, preventing Darcy’s father from asking more questions.
Darcy’s father excused himself and, luckily for you, Darcy was at his best behaviour with his parents being around.
During the interval, Darcy greeted you politely and that was it. He didn’t acknowledge Cillian, Janet and John and there weren’t any further interactions from his side.
After the play had finished, Janet suggested that you all go to Cillian’s house for a drink and some pizza. After all, you hadn’t had dinner yet.
You agreed and picked up some Pizza and a couple of bottles of wine on the way.
To your surprise however, Janet excused herself pretty much straight after dinner and a glass of wine.
‘Well, John and I have to get up very early tomorrow’ Janet said.
‘We do?’ John asked.
‘Yes darling, don’t you remember the thing at your work?’ Janet asked, giving John a nudge.
‘The thing at my work?....Oh right, the thing at my work. I forgot’ John said.
‘Well, we will be going, but you two should really finish this bottle of wine’ Janet said and you observed her winking at Cillian.
Cillian sighed before giving his sister a kiss on the cheek and saying goodbye.
‘Uhm that was strange’ you giggled just as Janet and John left. ‘I just finish this and will call a taxi’ you said, pointing to your full glass of wine.
‘Yes, my sister is strange indeed’ Cillian chuckled, knowing exactly what his sister had in mind.
‘So how did you like the book?’ Cillian went on to ask to change the topic.
‘It’s fantastic. In particular the actor’s notes on the scenes. Although, there is one thing no one really talks about and I have been trying hard to find material on it’ you said.
‘And what is that?’ Cillian asked curiously.
‘How do you act a scene where you have to kiss someone. I mean, do you actually kiss them on stage? How about on screen? I mean, you would have the answer to this wouldn’t you?’ you said.
‘I do’ Cillian laughed.
‘Well then please enlighten me. I am curious’ you said.
‘On screen, depending on the angle of the camara, you most often don’t get around kissing. Your lips touch. It’s as simple as that’ Cillian said.
‘But is it different from a normal kiss?’ you asked.
‘Not really’ Cillian said. ‘But, in saying this, for theatre, no one from the audience will be close enough to see what you are doing so just give the guy a peck if you feel too uncomfortable to kiss him’ Cillian laughed, knowing that the play you were doing included a scene just like this.
‘I am glad you can laugh about it’ you said sheepishly.
‘Well, I know for a fact that you’ve kissed a man before so I think you will be fine. Just don’t think about it as a kiss. Think about it as an act. I guarantee you that, when you are in character with a complex script like yours, it will just come naturally’ Cillian said.
‘I suppose you are right. I mean, at least it’s not Darcy who I have to kiss on stage’ you laughed.
‘Well, there you go’ Cillian said just as an awkward silence erupted between you again.
‘Speaking of which, I have actually been thinking about our kiss more often than I should have’ you said shyly.
‘Y/N, we agreed that we would forget about what happened that morning’ Cillian said.
‘We did. But I can’t’ you said before taking a pause. ‘Can you?’ you asked.
‘I’ve been trying’ he chuckled, causing you to smile.
‘Perhaps you should stop trying and kiss me again. Just once more and I will never mention it again’ you said as you walked over towards him.
‘I am twice your age Y/N. You do realise that, right?’ Cillian said as you took his hands suggestively, indicating that you wanted him to stand up.
‘Yes, I do and I like it’ you giggled before biting your lip. Your comment made Cillian raise his eye brows and laugh.
‘You could be with someone your own age Y/N. I am sure you get plenty of offers. So why me?’ he asked as he stood up in front of you, running his hand over your cheek and moving part of your hair away from your face and behind your ear.
‘Because you are intelligent, kind and not afraid to be yourself. I like that. Despite, I also think that you are incredibly attractive’ you whispered shyly.
‘But, if you don’t like me then just tell me and I accept that’ you added after Cillian didn’t respond to your comment.
‘I like you alright. But I know that it would be a very bad idea if were to get involved with each other’ Cillian said quietly.
‘Maybe. Maybe not’ you said and, just like this, Cillian leaned forward and pressed his lips on to yours.
The kiss was gentle and Cillian caressed your face with his warm hands while his soft lips explored yours. Your lips moved in sync with his for a moment until he pulled away slightly.
‘We should not be doing this’ Cillian said and, just after he did, you decided that, this time, he wouldn’t get away that easily and you crashed your lips back onto his.
He accepted the kiss, giving into you for what felt like an eternity until he pulled away again.
‘Are you sure this is what you want? Because there will be implications if…’ he said and, before he could finish his sentence, you interrupted.
‘I know and I am prepared to deal with these implications as they arise’ you said before pressing your lips back onto his. You knew that, most likely, you would have to keep your interactions with Cillian a secret at least for a little while and you knew that, later down the track, this might cause issues with Craig and Ella.
Despite these intrusive thoughts, you managed to switch off and get lost in the moment and kiss between you soon became heated as Cillian gently slipped his tongue in between the opening of your lips.
You gave in and let his tongue dance with yours as if it was the most natural thing to do. He was such a good kisser. Gentle and passionate.
‘Now do you want me to stay for the night or call a taxi?’ you asked as, after at least ten minutes, your lips drifted apart.
‘If you were to stay, what would you be telling Craig and Ella?’ Cillian asked.
‘That I had some drinks after the theatre and ended up staying at a friend’s house’ you said, causing Cillian to laugh.
‘I guess you are staying then’ he said as he ran his hand over your cheek again before giving you another kiss.
‘Alright’ you said shyly. ‘I will go and have a shower then’ you said nervously.
It felt different this time around and you didn’t know how far he wanted to go. You had never had sex before and intimacy didn’t come naturally to you.
After you both had showers, separately, you met in bed just like the last time when you stayed at Cillian’s house.
Just this time, neither of you bothered getting dressed for the occasion.
Bed Time
Cillian was lying there, under the doona, wearing nothing but his black Calvin Klein briefs as you walked into the bedroom.
You, on the other hand, wore even less. A black thong. That was it and you could see the appreciation on Cillian’s face as you walked into the bedroom.
But, in addition to your naked body, your tattoos and piercings, he could also see the nervousness on your face as you climbed into bed next to him.
‘You are beautiful’ he said as you got under the doona.
‘If you say so’ you smiled shyly before giving him a kiss.
It wasn’t long until he gently pulled you closer towards him and began running his masculine hands over your body, including your breasts and all the way down to your naked ass.
His lips never left yours and you enjoyed the warmth of his body pressed against yours. The little amount of his chest hair brushed against your breasts and, as he held you close, you could feel his erection grow beneath his breaths.
You knew he wanted you, all of you and, whilst you wanted to be with him, you weren’t quite ready to take this step yet.
‘Cillian, I am…I never had…’ you said and, before you could finish your sentence Cillian withdraw his hand from you.
‘You are a virgin?’ he asked somewhat surprised, causing you to nod. Whilst you hinted on this previously when you talked with him about Darcy being pushy when it came to your relationship, you never actually told him that you never had sex. It all made more sense to him now and made him dislike how Darcy had treated you even more.
‘I am sorry. I didn’t realise’ Cillian said.
‘Are you disappointed?’ you asked, noticing Cillian’s reluctance to touch you again the same way he was before you told him.
‘Why would I be disappointed?’ he asked, running his hand over your cheek.
‘Not sure. Perhaps you expected something else tonight?’ you said shyly.
‘Well, the truth is that I didn’t expect anything tonight. Not kissing you, not lying next to you or getting to touch your beautiful body. So, I am getting way more than I had bargained for’ Cillian said.
‘You are so kind Cillian. What I meant was that, once you got a woman into bed, you probably didn’t expect this’ you said somewhat embarrassed.
‘At my age, probably not’ Cillian laughed. ‘But, I am not disappointed Y/N. We will just take things slow, move at your pace, alright? Despite, there are so many things other than sex in the conventional way that are enjoyable and I am just happy to lie here with you and kiss you all night’ Cillian said before pressing his lips back on to yours.
‘Things other than sex in the conventional way?’ you asked curiously after your lips drifted apart.
‘Yeah, you know, like other things’ Cillian chuckled. He clearly was out of your comfort zone having to give you a sex ed lesson.
‘Hmm, like what?’ you said cheekily. ‘Can you show me?’ you asked nervously. Whilst you weren’t quite ready to take things all the way, you felt an overwhelming desire for this man and you trusted him and you certainly wanted him to continue to touch you.
Cillian chuckled at your comment but reluctantly agreed. After all, he just promised you to take things slow and what he was about to do didn’t exactly fall into the category of taking things slow.
‘Alright, but you are in charge. Promise me that you will tell me if you want me to stop, ok?’ Cillian said reassuringly.
‘I promise’ you said before he leaned in and gave you another kiss before guiding your back down on to the mattress.
After you lied down comfortably, Cillian kissed you once again before his lips began trailing down your neck, kissing all over it, while his hands wandered over your naked breasts.
In this moment, you felt somewhat vulnerable. You weren’t exactly blessed with a large bust but Cillian seemed to like what he saw as he kissed down your beautiful body, his lips and tongue exploring and enjoying the sweetness of your flesh.
Eventually, his lips found their way to your perky breasts and lingered at a taut, pierced nipple, the tip of his tongue rolling around it, over the tiny bumps on your areola. He drew it into his mouth, eliciting a soft sigh from you as he sucked.
It felt amazing, much unlike what anyone else had ever done to you before and you could feel an unexpected tension build up in between your legs. The moisture within you was building and you trusted Cillian even once his lips began to trail further down your body.
His lips soon found the swell of your belly, and he showered it with soft kisses. His tongue played a moment in your pierced belly button before he continued his downward journey.
Then, suddenly, his lips touched the top of your lace panties causing you to let out a surprisingly loud moan.
No man had ever been this close to your mound before with anything else but their fingers.
With his fingers, he hooked into the ream of your lace panties before sliding them down all the way past your knees and then down over your feet before letting them drop over the bed.
There you were, completely naked, in front of the man you were so desperate for.
With his head moving back in between your legs, you felt vulnerable and excited at the same time.
The scent of your hot sex was now filling his nostrils, making him crave the taste of you.
His lips first touched the inside of your thighs, sending shivers of pleasure down your spine. Again, you couldn’t help it but moan unexpectantly loud at the sensation.
Your reaction made Cillian smile against your thighs and he moved his head slightly inwards.
You could feel his warm breath on your vulva just before his lips touched your naked mound for the first time.
‘Oh god’ you inhaled sharply, making him smile again. He clearly was doing all the right things and took it slow, much slower than he would usually take it.
After kissing your most intimate body part a couple of time, he finally let his tongue lightly trace down the folds of your flesh.
It felt insane and you moaned loudly before you started to squirm when his tongue ran through your folds for the second time.
Cillian soon felt your fingertips caress his hair as he teased you.
He ran his tongue up and down those lips, enjoying the wetness between them.
‘Oh god Cillian’ you moaned just as you gripped his hair tighter as he pushed his tongue inward in between your lips, savouring the sweet taste of you.
By this point you were dripping wet as his tongue went as deep as it could, his face awash with your warm juices.
Then, Cillian pulled back slightly, moving his tongue up and down, side to side, not wanting to leave any part of your sex untouched.
At the top, he found that sensitive nub of flesh, now fully extended. As his tongue flicked against it, he felt you give a little shiver of pleasure. His tongue swirled around and around, and then his lips engulfed it, sucking it gently as you began to moan even louder.
‘Cillian, fuck’ you moaned as you let your body take in the fullest extend of this sensation and closed your eyes.
Just as you closed your eyes, you could feel one of Cillian’s fingers run over your wet slit while his tongue continued to swirl around your clit.
You took in a deep breath but tried to relax as much as possible, thinking about what he might be doing next.
And, just like this, he carefully slipped a finger into you, watching your cues closely for any pain.
‘Oh god, fuck’ you moaned again at the sensation. To your surprise, it felt nice, very nice.
After your body relaxed again Cillian began moving his finger in and out in a slow, steady rhythm as his tongue played a staccato on your pulsing clit.
He loved your taste, your scent, your sounds, he was in his happy place, and your pleasure was his goal.
He kept going, making love to you with his lips and tongue and fingers. Your sounds intensified in volume; the grip on his hair tightened; your hips rose as you squirmed beneath his ministrations.
After several minutes of pure extasy, Cillian carefully inserted a second finger while he gentle sucked on your clit.
You tensed up once again at the intrusion but, following some mild discomfort, were able to relax again. The slight amount of pain quickly turned into pleasure and your breathing was becoming heavier.
You felt full, just by his fingers and they moved in and out of you in the perfect rhythm.
With your moans becoming louder and louder and your walls becoming tighter around his fingers, he could tell that you were close. He pushed his fingers into you deeper, hooking them slightly upward and touching that other magical spot you never knew existed.
Your moans turned into screams of pleasure and your hips bucked as he pushed you over the edge.
Cillian lifted his eyes so he could look up at you and see your head thrown back, eyes closed, and mouth open with your moans and screams of pleasure filling the room.
You were totally lost in the ecstasy of the moment. His tongue was still dancing against your pulsing extended clit.
Your hips bucked one more time, and then you grasped his hair and pulled him away. It was too much, too intense.
He would have kept going for as long as you would let him, but your body had reached the point of pleasure saturation, and you needed to catch your breath.
While you were breathing heavily, coming down from your high slowly, Cillian kissed his way up your body until your lips met, and you shared one long deep kiss.
‘Are you alright?’ he asked as he could see small tears building up in your eyes. You looked completely exhausted and somewhat confused.
‘Yes, it’s just… I think I just had an orgasm’ you laughed.
‘Well, that was the idea’ Cillian chuckled. But you didn’t laugh at his joke. You were entirely overwhelmed.
‘Have you not had one before?’ Cillian asked somewhat surprised by your reaction.
‘What, an orgasm? No…But I read it’s normal for women not to have orgasms’ you said shyly.
‘If that was true then that would be pretty disappointing’ Cillian chuckled as he took you into his arms.
‘How about you get some rest alright?’ Cillian said with a smile as you seemed somewhat besides yourself which he thought was cute.
It didn’t take long for you to fall asleep in his arms. You felt so safe and secure next to him.
But for Cillian, it took a little longer. Whilst he promised you to take it slow and was prepared to stick to his promises, deep down inside, he wanted you, all of you.
Good Morning Mr Murphy
The next morning, your alarm went off at 7am. You had to attend art school which was due to start at 9am.
You would have rather stayed in bed with Cillian, but this wasn’t an option.
When the sound of your alarm ripped you out of your dreams and your eyes shot open, you noticed that Cillian wasn’t lying next to you.
As you got up to look for him, you heard the shower running in the bathroom. He was up early and it surprised you.
‘Can I come in?’ you asked as you knocked on the bathroom door.
‘Uhm, yes sure’ Cillian yelled out. He clearly was still in the shower.
‘Good Morning’ you said as you walked inside, not being able to see Cillian through the steam covering the door of the shower.
‘Good Morning… I will be out in a minute’ Cillian said, his voice sounding somewhat hasty.
‘No need, I just come in’ you said.
Without asking permission, you opened the shower door and stepped inside.
Your lips instantly met Cillian’s lips as you stepped closer towards him. But he seemed somewhat uncomfortable with your quick approach.
As you went to press your body against his soapy chest, you could feel something in between you and, just as you did, you looked downwards.
This was the first time you saw Cillian’s most intimate part and it was quite a sight.
‘Sorry’ Cillian said with some embarrassment as his erection pressed against you. He had struggled with it on and off since the previous night.
‘Now I am no expert, but I think that your reaction down there tells me that you like me, a lot’ you giggled as your hand reached for his hard cock.
Cillian moaned at your touch and you slowly began stroking him.
‘Now, I have never done this before so just tell me if I do something wrong alright?’ you said as your hands moved to either side of his hips.
‘Done what?’ Cillian asked and, just as he did, you dropped down to your knees right there in front of him.
‘This’ you said as you took hold of his cock again and guided it towards your mouth.
You could hear a soft moan come out of Cillian as your tongue touched his shaft for the first time.
You first licked the side of his shaft tentatively. Your heart was pounding as you did and you continued licking the sides and worked your way to the top of his cock.
Swirling your tongue around the head of Cillian’s cock and then working your way back down the shaft, you felt like you found yourself in another world, one you had never been in before.
Cillian groaned again and you felt his hands on your head as you continued licking his cock and then finally taking him into your mouth as far as you could go.
You didn't have a clue what you were doing, never having done this before, but you started bobbing up and down his shaft.
As Cillian’s moans became louder and steadier, you started bobbing up and down his cock even faster. You could taste his per cum on your tongue and then felt his hands hold on to the hair on your head even tighter.
You were in control but it was almost like he needed to hold on to something, grab something with his hands.
‘Fuck Y/N’ he moaned and you could tell he was getting close.
Before he could say anything else, you looked up at him.
‘I want you to come in my mouth’ you said before taking him back inside your mouth.
He looked surprised but didn’t dare to argue and, after a few more head bobs, he let go.
You could feel his cock begin to throb in your mouth and, just as you did, his hot sweet cum began to flow steadily from his shaft into your mouth.
You stopped bobbing your head as he came down from his high and let go of his cock before looking up at him and opening your mouth.
He could see his cum in your mouth and the disbelieve on his face made you laugh for a second, causing you to spill some but swallowing the rest.
‘Are you sure you never done this before because I never had a woman do this last bit’ Cillian chuckled as he helped you up.
‘No…never’ you said. ‘But, I’ve watched porn before’ you laughed as you wiped your mouth before giving Cillian a kiss.
After your intimate encounter, you both cleaned yourself off and got dressed before Cillian gave you a lift to art school.
Unpleasant Surprise
Your day at art school was good but you couldn’t get Cillian out of your head that day.
You went as far as to cancel your date with Anita that same afternoon so that you could surprise Cillian at his house later.
It was probably for the better you thought as Anita had many questions for you that day after Darcy had told her that he saw you at the theatre with Cillian.
At 4.30pm, after picking up some food and clothes from at home, you made your way to Cillian’s place.
You knocked on the door and, eventually, Cillian opened.
‘What are you doing here Y/N?’ Cillian asked surprised. You came by unannounced and thought that, maybe, it wasn’t a good idea after all. Perhaps he didn’t like surprises.
‘I am sorry, I should have called. I just wanted to surprise you’ you said before asking Cillian whether you could come inside.
‘It’s not a good time Y/N’ Cillian said and, in this moment, you could hear a female voice from inside his apartment.
Through the crack of the door, you could see a blonde woman. She was pretty, probably in her late thirties, wearing a black dress and heels. It was obvious to you that Cillian and her were close.
‘Can I call you later?’ Cillian asked.
‘Right, sure’ you sighed as you handed him the bag with the food and walked off.
As you walked towards the elevator, tears were building up in your eyes and you felt overwhelmingly anxious and upset. Perhaps he wasn’t different than other actors and you were just another quick fling.
You didn’t pick up his calls that day. You’ve been hurt enough by men in the past.

Birthdays through the years (Diluc x reader)
.........*years ago*.........
You stood in front of the large doors of the Dawn Winery, your hands fiddling with the wrapped box with both nervousness and excitement. You really hope that your best friend Diluc would like the gift. You jumped a little when the door opened, revealing Crepus who saw you and gave a warm smile.
“Ah, you arrived. Diluc has been anxiously waiting for you, (y/n).” Crepus said, opening the door for you. As you walked in, Crepus called out for his son, who immediately ran out from a room. Large red eyes widened with excitement and ran into you to hug you tightly, squishing your cheeks together.
“(y/n)! I’m so happy you came!” He cried out with a big smile. You laughed as well, pulling back a little and petting his fluffy red hair. The two of you left Crepus to head into the dining room where his adopted brother, Kaeya was waiting in and gave you a small wave. Despite being the son of a famous man in Mondstadt, Diluc preferred having small birthdays with his family and best friend. You came from a humble family who worked with Crepus for a time. During that time, you often visited the Dawn Winery with your parents where you met the brothers and became close friends with them. You and Diluc became especially close to which you two never seemed to separate.
“(y/n) look at this. Kaeya and father made me this for my birthday.” Diluc said as the both of you sat down and he pointed to a white cake with red frosting, two slices cut out for the brothers.
“Wow, that looks delicious.” You complimented, causing the blue hair boy to blush shyly. A maid proceeded to cut you a slice so you decided to pass Diluc your present. “Here Diluc. I hope you like it.” Diluc thanked you and took the present, opening it rather quickly. Kaeya peeked over a little as Diluc pulled out a red gem attached through a gold rope. “My mom taught me how to make it. It’s supposed to go around your collar, like a necklace.” You explained, feeling a little nervous as Diluc stared at the present.
“This is really pretty. Thank you, (y/n).” Diluc thanked with a bright smile, immediately relieving you of all the anxiousness you’ve been feeling.
.........*a few years later*.........
Time passed and much has changed in your life. You started taking a liking to making trinkets and jewellery. You have made a number, including a blue earring for your friend Kaeya, and women started to take notice of them and wanted some for themselves. Thus you became quite well-known in Mondstadt and noticeably grew more independent from the nervous child you were before.
As you busied with your hobby-turned-job, Diluc and Kaeya grew to be strong young men who joined the Knights of Favonius. You knew it was a dream of Diluc considering the number of times you played knights with the two of them. And you were happy to see him rise up well, gaining much respect and admiration among the other knights. Kaeya seemed to have just tagged along with his brother but he too made a name for himself as a man with wits and skills.
Despite not being able to spend as much time together as when you were kids, you and Diluc still had a strong relationship. When you were both free, you would meet on a quiet grassy hill to talk about your lives. Diluc would share about his training with the knights and the people who he has met, including the successor of the Gunnhildr Clan Jean. You shared about the new materials from different regions which you tested making trinkets with, sharing how you would love to travel to those places yourself one day. No matter how tired Diluc was from training, he always seemed to make time for you. You were after all a dear friend of his and he liked the idea of having you involved in his life.
Every time you two talked, you always noticed the red gem hanging around Diluc’s neck. A present from you which he has held dear to all those years. It was just one of the quiet actions which the boy has done to show how much he appreciated your company. Other than that, many have noticed how much happier Diluc seemed when he was with you. Crepus liked to joke about how he felt relieved of leaving the Dawn Winery one day to the both of you, to which made the both of you shy about the thought.
Though, Diluc never once denied it.
Speaking of the Dawn Winery, you were right now decorating the living room for Diluc and Crepus’ arrival. It was Diluc’s coming of age ceremony and you wanted to give him a surprise when he returns home. So you came early and worked with the staff to get everything ready. You headed to the couch where you rummaged through your bag and pulled out a small package. It was a handmade lanyard which you hoped would be useful for Diluc with his new rank as captain. You were thrilled when Diluc shared the news and you immediately went to work on this as your way to say congratulations.
You smiled to yourself and placed the present on the table, waiting with the rest of the staff for the masters of the house. But all of you would have never guessed the horrible incident which would change everything which seemed normal.
.........*current year*.........
It was late at night in the Angel Share and the red hair bartender was cleaning the last of the glasses for the day. He had gotten a good amount of information for his personal mission and was ready to head back home to prepare for his quest. He heard the door opened and was about to remark about the tavern being closed when he saw who was standing by the door and his eyes widened slightly.
“Diluc. I’m glad to catch you before you left.” You said as you pulled down your hood and walked over to the bar seat.
“You know the bar is open during the day, right?” Diluc remarked, placing the glass on the tabletop.
“There’s too many people during that time. This is the only time I can talk to you without anyone bothering us.” You said. Diluc hummed in response and went to the bottle shelf. Meanwhile you quietly observed him, smiling softly. It had been three years since the unfortunate incident and it changed your lives.
Obviously Diluc became more distant and somewhat cold, an irony of his Pyro vision. The death of his father and his leave from the Knights of Favonius made you see him less, sometimes not at all. You tried to reach out to him but something told you to keep your distance for the time being, only showing your silent support on the sides.
It was only when Diluc needed help with a commission and he knew that you usually travelled across lands for your job. He trusted you and let you in on private affairs of his, including his persona as the Darknight Hero. You jumped at the chance to help him in any way you could, which included gathering intel from people of different cities and bringing new materials back to the Dawn Winery.
Because of that, the two of you begun to spend more time together. Your more optimistic nature and light talk of what you’ve seen in your travels slowly broke the walls of Diluc’s heart and the man started to become himself around you. You counted the times he managed a small smile in front of you, being happy with yourself every time he did.
“How was your trip to Liyue?” Diluc asked as he passed you a glass of your favourite drink.
“It was great. Working with the jewellers there was inspirational. Plus the experience of their culture was a nice refresher.” You answered and took a sip of your drink. “Also, I got some good information about the Abyss.”
“Sounds good. We’ll talk about more about it back in the Winery.” Diluc nodded and said. You both shared a silent moment with short chats for a while before you remembered something.
“I almost forgot. I got you something.” You went through your bag before pulling out a parcel. “It’s a speciality tea from Liyue. I know you don’t like alcohol so I thought you might like to try this.” Diluc took the parcel and a nice natural aroma wafted into his nose.
“It smells good. I’ll have someone make tea for us when we return.” You nodded and hopped over the counter to wash your empty glass. As you were, you jumped a little when strong arms wrapped around your waist and a warm breath hit the crook of your neck. You couldn’t help but smile, knowing how touchy Diluc actually is when in private. And judging by his action, it would seem that someone missed you.
“You know, I only managed to come back this quickly because it’s your birthday tomorrow. I know you don’t see the need to celebrate it but do you think you want to do something special? Just the two of us.” A small smile formed on Diluc’s face and he lifted his head to place a feather-like kiss on your forehead.
“I would really enjoy that.”

Armor -Oberyn Martell x Reader x Ellaria Sand - Part 7
Author’s Note: Hey sorry this is so late. I’ve had some personal stuff come up, but this fic has become somewhat of a comfort project for me. I actually had a question for you all though! Would any of you be interested in me posting chapters of my Ezra and Frankie fics between chapters of this? Feel free to comment, ask, or ask anonymously! I am so excited! King’s Landing is so exciting, but I’ve been looking forward for all of them to be in Dorne. Hope you enjoy!
Summary: The journey to Dorne does not go as you planned.
Word Count: 3k
Warnings: mention of death
————————————————————
You hadn’t left your cabin in three days. The motion of the ship upon the waves was enough to relieve you of any food you may have had prior to boarding. The last thing you were going to do was let anyone on board see you so sick and weak. To your surprise, they hadn’t bothered you. Not a knock, not a visit, nothing.
Perhaps they knew you better than you thought.
But you were not yourself. Sitting still was never your strong suit, and still, you wanted to do nothing else. You felt like you were grieving though you knew Tyrion, Shae, and Bronn were alive. You felt like you were going mad.
Mad and sick...what a sight I’d make if anyone saw me.
The gods must have thought you were praying, because as soon as the thought entered your brain, Ellaria entered your cabin with the fury of a hundred kings.
“Up.”
“Ellaria-“
“Did I fucking stutter?”
Oberyn entered behind, uncharacteristically disheveled. “You must forgive me. I forget how quick my lover is, and how stubborn she can be.” Oberyn retorted, shooting her a disapproving glare.
It was as if they were having a contest to see who could state the other into submission.
Ellaria broke, but you wish she hadn’t. Her sharp gaze transfixed on you. “Three days. You have been in here three days. We help you escape Kings Landing and you ignore us for three days?!”
“Ellaria.” Oberyn’s voice was intimidating, the kind of intimidating that unnerved you more than the loud kind did. “Look.”
Oberyn kicked out your waste bucket that served as evidence of your sickness. “She has not been well. I take it you are not fond of the sea?”
“I have no quarrels with the sea. Traveling upon it is another matter.” You groaned. The abrupt entrance into your chambers combined with the hostile nature sent your head spinning. “I’ve never traveled by ship, I’ve never had any reason to. I don’t think my stomach agrees with my change in transportation.”
Oberyn seemed to show you understanding, but Ellaria would have none of it.
“And you chose not to tell us why exactly?” She bit. “We helped you escape, why do you think we would not help you through a little sickness?”
“Maybe because I don’t need your help with everything.” You bit back. “I ran from my best friend, I ran from my duty, and I ran from my family, and here I am vomiting in a bed, unable to use my bow or do much of anything anyway, so excuse me if I was not in any sort of mood to receive guests.” You were still weak from seasickness, but whatever you had left in you you propelled in Ellaria’s face. You were tired, and if you were being honest with yourself, you were scared now more than ever.
Ellaria gritted her teeth and opened her mouth, prepared to send a volley of rebuttals your way, but Oberyn was quicker.
“Ellaria, my love, perhaps a cool cloth will calm our guest down. Would you be so kind as to fetch one?” Even when asking his paramour to leave and give you some space he sounded charming.
“I am not a maid.” Ellaria snapped.
“That you are not, forgive me for making you feel otherwise.” Oberyn apologized, taking her hand and cradling it in both of his larger ones. “But perhaps our guest will be more comfortable and willing to let us help her.”
Ellaria glared at both of you before grudgingly exiting your cabin.
The Prince of Dorne sighed and returned his attention back to you. “You must forgive both Ellaria and I. She is only mad because she was so looking forward to spending time with you, and you have been away. We were not aware you were ill.” Oberyn placed a gentle hand on your forehead. Out of instinct, you recoiled, but the prince was patient. When you understood what he was doing, you nodded and gave him permission.
“But Ellaria is somewhat right. We could have helped you. You’ve been through much already, we know, but being ill on top of everything does not make anything better.” Oberyn reasoned, his voice surprisingly calm.
When you were young, your father told you stories of people who were born with magic inside them. They were charming people who were destined for greatness. You wondered if Oberyn’s magic was calming you down, a talent that seemed rare and commendable all in its own.
“The last time I was this sick I was only a child.” You admitted. Being an assassin meant you had to be in peak health. You took care of yourself as best as you could, but as a child, you didn’t know any better, and you weren’t an assassin. “I’ve never left the mainland, I’m not used to the sea. I’m also not used to receiving help...or asking for it.” You admitted.
Oberyn gave a small, sad smile. And removed his hand from your forehead. “I understand. You are a stranger heading towards a strange land. I’ve traveled all over the world. When I first left home I felt much the same. But what I learned is that you can find people to rely on wherever you are, whether that be Kings Landing or Dorne.” Oberyn smiled. “If you serve as an archer for Dorne until we return you to Tyrion, you will be protecting me and my family. In return, we promise to help and protect you. But you have to learn to trust us.” Oberyn’s deep brown eyes bore into yours. He looked so sad, so desperate and you could not for the life of you understand why. You also could not understand why you still had so many doubts. Surely their commitment to helping you escape King’s Landing was enough proof, so why did it still feel so hard?
But before you could give your answer, Ellaria returned with the washcloth. It seemed she had calmed down as well. The paramour gently brushed away a few of your stray locks to place the cloth on your forehead. Her hand strayed on your skin for a tad longer than necessary, but she didn’t dare linger any longer. Her touch felt like flames across your skin, and you wanted to snatch her hand right back and just hold it for a while, but you released it. “There, now if you need anything else you tell us this time, yes?”
“Deal.” You relented, sighing, but deep down you knew this might be good for you. You were going to a strange land without any friends other than the ones you were now traveling with. If you wanted to survive, you would have to learn how to rely on them to help you and open yourself to helping them. “It’s not fair to either of you for me to hide in here, I apologize. I owe you both so much and I don’t know where to begin to repay you both. I-“
“Stop.” Oberyn cut sharply. He was usually so calm and understanding with you that you forgot how much rage could compel him as easily as passion. He sighed and took your hand. “You do not owe us anything. If we wanted this to be an exchange I would have asked you for something in return. I only offered you a position as archer because I thought you would prefer that over doing nothing, not because I felt you owed me or my family anything.”
You didn’t understand it, and maybe that’s why your heart felt light in your chest. How two people could be so caring was beyond you, but you were nothing if not curious. You wanted to know them more than you ever wanted to know anyone else. The feelings you kept bubbling in your chest threatened to overflow if you didn’t do something, but words of gratitude didn’t seem to come.
So you took one of each of their hands and gently placed a single kiss to their knuckles.
Both of them looked at you with a mixture of shock and absolute adoration. Ellaria’s hand came to rest on your cheek, her fingers brushing more hair from your face. “Get some rest beautiful girl. You can’t very well meet the king of Dorne if you are vomiting all over the throne room.” Ellaria teased.
Oberyn gave your hand a small squeeze as he offered a small, sweet smile. “We will be in our own cabin. If you should need anything only tell a servant and we will do what we can to help you feel better.”
You smiled softly. “Thank you.”
—————-
The next morning you awoke to the sound of your cabin door opening. On instinct you reached for your dagger on your bed stand, causing the small woman in your doorway to gasp.
“Wait!” She begged. “I am your chambermaid. My name is Syrene. I was sent by Prince Oberyn to assist you before we arrive in Dorne. I was instructed to assist you in whatever way I can before we arrive in Dorne.” The girl explained, her eyes never leaving the dagger.
Feeling a bit guilty, you lowered the dagger and forced the tension in your shoulders to leave. “Sorry, I’m used to waking myself up...and waking up alone.”
Syrene nodded. She was not a very intimidating person, but she seemed kind, too kind to deserve being threatened with a knife. She was a Dornish woman, her accent was very thick and the style of her dress very much resembled her cultural attire. Her hair was dark like Oberyn and Ellaria's, but her eyes were a much lighter shade of brown than their’s, and her features were much softer. Her nature reminded you of Sansa in many ways, young, but still growing, still learning.
You were quiet for a moment before you realized she was waiting for further instruction. “Oh....um, actually I can manage.”
The girl stood still, still not sure what to do, then it dawned on you. How would it look to Oberyn if she just returned so quickly? As if she didn’t do anything at all. You had to wonder if maybe she wanted to help.
“Actually, would you mind helping me make my bed?”
“I can do it, my lady.”
You couldn’t help but laugh. Everything about the reply humored you, and you tried your best not to seem rude. “First of all, I’m not a lady. I’m not above anyone, you can call me by my name.” Syrene smiled bashfully and gave a small chuckle, but nodded in understanding. “And secondly, I bet we can get things done much faster if we make it a team effort, wouldn’t you say?”
The girl nodded once more and began helping you with the sheets. It was quiet for a moment, neither of you knowing what to say, but more so, neither of you being much for conversation. Still, if this girl was to be helping you, you wanted to make her feel comfortable and appreciated. “So, do you also assist Ellaria?” you asked curiously.
“No. Ellaria has her own chambermaid. I was training under her chambermaid which is why I was brought aboard this ship. Ellaria thought I was ready to finally assist someone and instructed me to help you.”
Poor thing.
“Well...your help is much appreciated, though I’m sorry to say I won’t give you much work. I like doing things on my own.” You explained, and suddenly the girl seemed so lost as to what to do. This was her job, this was what she had been told to do. “But,” you continued, “some company would be nice. And I don’t know anything about Dorne. Maybe you could help me?” You offered, more excited about having an ally than a maid.
Syrene smiled and nodded. “I would like that very much. I’m sure it’ll be strange to live in a land you have never been to before, but I think you’ll like Dorne. I think the gods made Dorne their favorite land. The sun is always shining, the water gardens are always in full bloom, and the people are welcoming of everyone...as long as they aren’t Lanisters.”
You smiled at the other, knowing that Ellaria must have informed the young handmaiden of your hostility towards the “golden lions”.
You nodded, but a saddened expression overtook your face. “That is understandable...but you must make an exception for the youngest of the Lannisters, Tyrion. He’s not so bad.”
Syrene nodded with an air of understanding. “In Dorne, I have a younger brother. I work to provide for him. Our parents are gone and he is only a child, he cannot work, he needs to be a child. I would give anything to see him more...I’m sure you would do anything to see your friend, even if he is a Lannister.” She sat in silence for a moment, but you could tell she was deep in thought. “No one is inherently evil and no one is inherently good, the Lannisters are no exception. If you say Tyrion is better-natured than his siblings...I believe you.”
No, Syrene wasn’t strong, she wasn’t intimidating, but she was something much more impressive. She was wise.
She was also young, too young to have such responsibility. You didn’t doubt her capabilities, but you were sure raising your own brother wasn’t easy. “Do you see your brother often?” You asked curiously.
Syrene’s smile faltered. “Not as much as I’d like, but the Martell’s pay me well and my brother doesn’t go hungry.” She shrugged.
As much as you were relieved to hear that she was being treated fairly by the Martell’s, you couldn’t help but feel her sorrow and longing for her brother, especially after losing your own family. You made a mental note to have a word with Oberyn to try and give her more time off.
“Come on, lets get this bed made before Ellaria thinks you're sleeping on the job.” - - -
It was midday when you finally willed yourself out of your room. You still weren’t feeling the best, but after Syrene had forced you to eat a few bites of bread, you at least felt some energy return to your body.
The fresh air did you more good than you thought it might. The rocking of the ship had subsided considerably, allowing you to stand without wobbling like a baby deer. The cool sea breeze gently brushed your face and you welcomed it with a soft smile.
“I’m delighted to find The Silver Hawk more like herself.” Oberyn stood next to you and rested his forearms against the edge of the ship. He looked like he belonged on the sea as much as he belonged in Dorne. “I think you will at least appreciated Sunspear’s geography. It is true that we are so near the sea, but on land it is hot and the desert-like climate makes it feel like there is no sea for miles.”
You only shrugged. The prince still had much to learn about you. “I already told you, I have no quarrel with the sea. I just prefer to be swimming in it than to be sailing upon it.”
“You swim?” Oberyn asked, for some reason surprised at this revelation.
“Yes. I swam a lot as a child. I moved around a lot, but when we would have time to rest, I passed time by swimming and playing in the ocean.”
“We?”
You silently cursed yourself when you realized your mistake. “My father.”
Oberyn was quiet a moment. He could tell that you did not discuss him often. You didn’t think you even told Tyrion much about him.
“And here I was thinking you were just a beautiful gift from the Gods.”
You rolled your eyes and chuckled. For a man as smooth as Oberyn, it was comical to hear such a cheesy line come from him. He must have known it too. The laugh that was born of sunshine flooded your ears and only made you smile more.
“You have a father. Why would you not choose to return to him? Why did you leave your father in the first place?”
“Had a father.” You corrected. “He died...he left me.”
Oberyn’s expression softened, looking away in shame. “I apologize, I did not know or I wouldn’t have asked.”
“No one knows.” You shrugged. “I don’t tell many people about my past, so I’d appreciate it if this was kept between us.”
“Of course, you can say what you wish to me and keep to yourself what you wish not to share. You are of house Dorne now, even if you are a guest. That means we are together in all things. But I should hope that if something does trouble you, you will come to trust Ellaria and I to help you.”
You nodded and conceded. They had helped both a poor man and yourself escape death simply because they cared for you. And now you were their guest in a foreign land. All efforts to keep them at arm's length had to be abandoned, even if you still struggled with the idea.
“I would be grateful for the help. I love traveling, but I must admit, your land sounds like another world. I expect I’ll need all the help I can get.”
“Well, then we’ll be happy for the excuse to come see you.” Ellaria chimed in, sneaking an arm around you and smiling. “We’re happy that you’re here, even if I gave you a less than peaceful awakening.” She teased, and you figured that was the closest thing to an apology that the Dornish woman was capable of.
“We’ll forget the whole affair.” You smiled softly. “I was less than civil myself. Dorne can be a new beginning for all of us I expect.”
“Speak of which…” Oberyn offered his hand to you. “Come.”
You took it (liking the feeling of his strong hand encapsulating yours more than you’d like to admit) and let him lead you to the top deck of the ship, Ellaria trailing not far behind.
Your breath was almost taken back by the sight.
“This is your home?” You asked breathlessly, more enamored by this city more than you thought you could be so quickly.
“Welcome to Sunspear.”

Previously:
Your shoulder brushes against him as you walk past Bucky and he turns his body around, following you with his gaze. He takes a long sip of his drink and places a hand inside his pocket, watching as you approach your ex-boyfriend.
He tries hard to bury deep down inside him the tug on his chest.
“Oh, fuck…”
Natasha’s curse makes him turn to her and he realizes she’s been watching him, with a dumbfounded expression he’s not used to see on her face.
“What?”
She scoffs and shakes her head, seeming in an estate of disbelief, “This whole time I’d been worried with the wrong person.”
No point. Bucky sees absolutely no point in trying to make it like there isn’t turmoil twisting inside of him. Not for Natasha, anyway, it would be to no avail. Also, he’s pretty sure there’s a kicked puppy look on his face to make it harder for him to put on any kind of façade.
“Fuck,” he sighs and run his hand harshly over his face, “What the hell is this, Natasha?” He whines, failing at trying to not sound as helpless as he does.
“You tell me, buddy.” She points at him with her glass of vodka, tilting her head with interest.
“Shit,” he exhales, looking down, before his face snaps up at her, “I’m … just weird, I’m not myself these days.” Bucky bites his lower lip as if trying to somehow refrain from spilling the words, but he just can’t, he’s dying to let it all out. He steps closer to her and lowers his voice as much as he can with the loud music beating around them, “I’ve spent almost every day of the last month with her. I have absolutely no desire to see or think of another woman and I have to restrain myself constantly, cause if I had it my way I would call her every five minutes to check in on her, and… and when I’m thinking about her - which is all the time, I fucking swear - I wonder if she’s thinking of me, and now? I mean, right now? I feel like snatching the blade right now on my ankle and shooting it right on that fella’s throat.” Finally taking a breath after his rambling, he points in your direction, before turning to see you right when you’re letting out a small laugh at something the punk has said.
“Wow…” Natasha lets out a whistle.
“A few days ago,” he turns back to his friend, “I snuck into her closet to find out the name of her perfume. And you know what I did next? I bought a large bottle for myself, like a fucking creep,” sheer frustration plasters on his tone.
“Oh my…,” Natasha snorts at the same time a mix of incredulity and amusement shines on her eyes, “That’s definitely creepy and it’s even worse than I imagined. The almighty Bucky Barnes, the I’m a whore and proud,” she thickens her voice playfully, moving her arms in a mimicking way, “The I don’t do romance and attachments king is a tiny lost puppy with big blue heart eyes, aww,” she inclines her head as if she’s thinking of him as exactly how she’s just described him.
Bucky tries but he can’t actually find the amusement in all of that. The fact one single woman is making him feel that way is entirely new, unpredictable and… scary as hell. He has no clue where to go from there.
Natasha seems to swiftly catch on his little inner self torment and, after letting out a deep sigh, she puts on a small smile and shakes her head, “Don’t worry Bucky, it’s probably a crush. A big one. But only a crush,” she places her hand on his arm, giving it a squeeze, “Y/n is one of my best friends and I know how delightful it is to be beside her. Maybe you’re just infatuated…”
“Maybe…” he exhales and shrugs, “I wouldn’t know… all I know is I’ve never felt this way about anyone before. Not that I remember…. but I’m pretty sure I would.” He looks at you again while you’re still talking to the Eddie guy.
“They have history,” Natasha says in a kind voice, following your gaze.
“I know.”
“He was her first and only boyfriend.”
“I know.”
“She thought she was going to marry him.”
“Damn Nat…” he breathes out his frustration, dropping his head for a moment, before raising his downcast gaze at her again, “Yeah, I know that, too.”
“But you’re Bucky fucking Barnes,” she snaps in a more cheerful voice shaking his arm with a enthusiastic force, “Don’t forget that, buddy,” she shoots him a warning glare, “Also, I’ve never seen a brighter smile on that woman than when she’s talking about you,” she beams.
Bucky’s heart jumps and a quick breathy smile surges on his lips before he takes in a shuddering breath, “I’m not sure what I should do, though.”
“Well, figure it out,” she lets go of his arm and taps on it, “My advice for the night if you should accept it is let it flow,” she shrugs. “Go on with your thing and see what happens. Just try not to hurt you or her on your way, though,” Nat warns.
“I’m not even sure I-Wait,” he frowns after his gaze is drawn to the spot where you are again, “Did that fucker just leave her alone?”
He instantly struts towards you, ignoring Nat’s snicker.
~~~
“Hey,” you smile, gulping down the nervousness down your throat as you approach your ex-boyfriend. The one you haven’t seen ever since he broke up with you months ago.
“Hey,” he offers you a tight but kind smile back.
You halt on your way, the awkwardness building up a barrier on your way as you’re not sure what to do next. Should you give him your hand to shake? Hug him? Do nothing at all? Not once before you had thought that moment would play out between you and Eddie.
But he seems a bit more resolved than you and shrugs, leaning forward and wrapping an arm around your shoulders, “Congratulations again,” he says, still holding you, “You’re the best and most hard working person I know, you deserve it.”
The small smile in your lips grows wider and you accept the compliment, relieved that the awkwardness seems to be tamed. While you’re so close to him after all that time, you notice he’s wearing the same perfume he’s been wearing for years, the one which would make you sneeze all the time, but you never really said anything.
“Thank you,” you lean back, sniffing discreetly to suppress the sneeze threatening to come out, “I’m happy you could make it,” you add. The fact he’s arrived all by himself grasps your interest, considering how everyone around you would tell you he was probably seeing someone else… however, if he did have someone, he wouldn’t bring them to your party, would he?
“Of course. I wouldn’t miss it,” he says with a gentle tone, but the formality is still there, you notice.
You two engage in some small conversation and you can’t help but to take him in and realize that, just like the perfume, Eddie looks exactly the same with everything else. The same hairstyle, same grey t-shirt you gifted him on your last Christmas together, the same constant half smile while he talks… he still speaks quietly, letting out just a few small words, which has always forced you to be the one to push on the conversations…
It’s… familiar… even comfortable, you dare say. But if you’re going to be honest with your own feelings, ever since he walked away, you thought you would be yearning to feel that familiarity again, that it would lead you to a sense of… home.
Why it isn’t quite like that, though?
“You look different,” he says as the subjects of small talk seem to come to an ending point.
You put your previous thoughts aside for later consideration.
“Oh…Different good or bad?” you ask, tilting your head with a small pull in the corner of your lips.
“I don’t know... just…different, I guess,” he frowns and quickly puts on that half smile of his.
“Oh, well… it’s been a while…“
“Yeah… I guess you’re right,” he says, regarding you with a wondering look in his eyes that makes you shift on your knees, “Listen,” he clears his throat, “I was wondering if we could meet to talk one of these days.”
“Oh,” you draw in a breath. Talking to him, having a real conversation, is something you’ve been wanting to do for a long time. It still feels like you don’t fully understand why you’re broken-up. Regardless the time it’s passed, you still feel attached to him somehow, like, no matter how exciting and new, you’re now living someone else’s life and not the one you had planned for you years ago.
“I mean,” he adds before you can give him a proper answer, “We still need to figure out what to do about the condo.”
The words are like cold water thrown at your face. There you are, thinking he wanted to talk about your relationship, but what’s really on his mind is the condo you’ve bought together. Swiftly, you work on putting a small smile on your face, “Yeah… sure, you’re right,” you nod.
“Hey! Eddie!”
Both of you look towards the female voice and your eyes fall upon a beautiful young woman you recognize as one of the members of SHIELD’s tech team. You’ve worked with her on a joined project of the two organizations before. Chloe… you believe her name is Chloe.
She’s waving at Eddie excitedly, calling him over the little group she’s with. She doesn’t seem to notice you’re standing next to him until her gaze meets yours. The wide grin on her face drops into a quick cringe before she nods in a respectful manner and shifts her look away, whispering something at one of the guys in the group.
When you set your attention back on Eddie, you tighten your lips just as you notice how the bone on his throat bobs right before his flustered eyes meet yours again.
“I-I, ahm, gotta go,” he runs his hand on the nape of his neck, “Can I call you later?”
“Yeah, sure.” Your voice comes out calm and controlled.
“It was good to see you,” he says, before placing his hand on your shoulder, “Congratulations again.”
After you give him a small nod as a thank you, keeping the tight smile on your face matching his, he walks away towards the group and the woman. The one your friends kept warning you about, apparently, given how uncomfortable he seemed to be in front of you after you saw her. As soon as he gets there, you see the two of them talking in hushed words. He keeps a safe distance from her, but his hand on her arm is where your gaze sticks on.
You don’t have the slightest idea of what’s happening with your feelings right now. Minutes ago you were realizing the familiarity of Eddie wasn’t what you expected it to be anymore, but now, seeing him so close to someone else… a beautiful woman, to be more specific, with her long black straightened hair and fancy blue dress holding each one of her beautiful curves…It just crushes you. A lump grows in your throat and while your gaze flicks around, you feel small… lost… picturing ways you could flee away from your own party at the same time ten years of your life flash in your mind.
The cold, yet gentle touch of metal in your elbow is what takes you out of your own head, “Hey, everything alright?” says the silky and soothing voice.
Your gaze meets Bucky’s while he stares at you with concerned eyes. Those gorgeous blue eyes of his…There’s already a bit less turbulence inside your chest and mind. You think nothing of it, though.
“Yeah, yeah…” you smile, “He, ahm… Some friends called him. He had to go.”
Bucky just lets out a hum – which sounds more like a groan – staring over your shoulder to where the little group stands.
“He said he wants to talk…“ you start, and don’t see when Bucky’s breath hatches catches on his throat, his eyes back on you, “About the condo,” you press your lips, “He said he’ll call me.”
While your gaze gets lost ahead, you have no idea that the sadness in them pinches deep inside Bucky’s chest. If you could read Bucky’s mind at that moment, you would find out that the fact your reencounter with your ex-boyfriend hadn’t ended up in some sort of hope for reconciliation hasn’t left him sad at all, but the lost look in your eyes… makes him wanna hold you in his arms and never let go. Not before punching a douche in the face, of course.
“Oh, come on, sweetheart,” he wraps his arm around your shoulder, side hugging and pulling you closer to him, “You’re the fucking boss now and, look around, ” he gestures with his glass of whiskey to the crowded and jazzing place, ”You have a damn Stark party just for you. We’re all here to celebrate the badass motherfucker you are. You’re not just going to let anything ruin your night, will you?” The corner of his eyes crinkle as he grins at you.
You let out a small laugh, the heaviness inside you slowly slipping out of your body as you allow yourself to synchronize with Bucky’s vibe. You can always trust the upbeat way he presents the world to you to lift whatever mood of yours up. You look down at your empty glass and shrugs, “I might need a refill, though…or two,” you shoot him a warning look.
Bucky’s smile stretches even wider and he lets go of your shoulders to offer his arm, nodding towards the bar, “Shall we?”
You gladly accept his suggestion by wrapping your hand around his elbow and walking with him, not even noticing that Eddie’s gaze follows you with piqued interest.
~~~
Quite a few more drinks later and after listening to Tony’s very nice and very Tony speech on his toast to honor you, you’re already fully invested in your party again. Bucky stays by your side most of the time, but you also come across with a lot of your friends from work and a few others, who are all more than happy to put you high on a pedestal for your promotion and party with you. It stings a bit when Camilla, your friend from work, tells you she heard Eddie and Chole are really together, but two or three more drinks after, you end up hitting the dance floor with a few friends by your side, not even seeing when Eddie leaves the party early, right before Chloe.
You’re happy to see that Amanda, one of Bucky’s friends you met that night in the club, has made it to the party, but you’re already too tipsy and it slips from your attention when she comments on how Bucky has been quite distant from her and the other girls for almost a month now.
If you’re going to be honest, you end up not truly noticing a lot of stuff since you’ve been drinking a great deal more than you’re used to, probably due the drill of having a kickass party thrown for you mixed with the unexpected sight of Eddie with a potential new girl - after months without seeing him. As the alcohol does its thing in your senses, you don’t notice the way Bucky looks at you, the way he holds you a little bit stronger when you’re dancing together, how he glares at the guys who tries to approach you or the fact he only leaves your side when he knows you’re comfortable and safe.
All you see and feel now is the music and the lights as you sway your hips to the beats. The party is almost coming to an end, but there’s still a small crowd of people enjoying their last moments there. The alcohol, the music and your friends, more precisely Camilla, Olivia, Amanda and Nat – the last two in the middle of a flirting contest you fail to notice, as well – are the ones around you. The buzz clouds your mind in a delicious way until your back bumps into a hard wall. Your weakened knees give in but before you hit the floor the wall wraps around you and holds you still.
Oh, you know that hard wall of muscles… You know it pretty well.
“Hey, there.” A foolish smile plasters on your lips at the same time the back of your head leans against the wall so you can see his face. His gorgeous and ungodly sexy face, “Your face is sexy,” you decide it is a very good idea to tell him that now.
“That right?” Bucky smirks, holding your gaze.
“Oh, yeah,” you clumsily turn around to face him, prompting him to grab you tighter since you stumble a bit on your toes. You curl the hand holding your glass around his neck, “And you’re big, too,” you don’t even notice but you’re a slurring mess as you speak and look to see your running hand down his broad chest, roughly probing his muscles, “Very, very big,” you exaggerate a sultry tone, the alcohol erasing any kind of subtleness or refinement in you or the notion that there are people around you, while your hand explores further down his body to say it’s not just about his muscles you’re talking about.
“Sweetheart.” Not making a big fuss about it, he gently grabs your wrist over his lower stomach to place it around his neck along with the other one, ”I’m very flattered to hear that, you’re one very nice piece of ass yourself, too,” he engages with you, keeping the playful tone.
You let out a girlish giggle, turning your face towards your friends, the trio now whispering and laughing among themselves as they watch the both of you, “He said I have a nice ass,” you shout, not realizing how loud you actually are as you lift and shake your hips, making your friends laugh harder and causing you to trip on your toes once again. But of course Bucky catches you before you fall.
“How many drinks, so far, huh?” Bucky chuckles, keeping the hold of his arms and eyes on you.
“Three or four,” you answer with nonchalance, bringing the glass to your lips as you hold yourself on his neck, only to pout when you notice it’s empty.
Your friends scoff at your lie behind you, “You can add at least ten more to that count, sweetheart,” Natasha shouts from behind you, punctuating the word sweetheart with a teasing pull on her mouth.
You make a dismissive face only Bucky can see, “Nonsense, check out what I can do,“ You step back from Bucky with the intention to put on a yoga pose you’re sure will convince your friends of how ok and steady you are and as soon as you lift your leg, you trip again and this time Bucky is not fast enough to catch you before your ass hit the floor.
The four of them rush to help you out as tears fall down from your eyes at how much you’re laughing, holding your glass up. It’s Bucky who ends up picking you up, though.
He and your friends shower you with questions to check if you’re ok but it all falls like a blur sound to your years.
“Ok, I guess it was a bit more than three or five,” ignoring the curious eyes around your group, you laugh making an ok sign with your hands before your stomach churns and you grimace, placing your hand over it, “Oh…” your face drops.
“Alright, come one, let’s go,” Bucky supports you with his hands and urges you to walk with him.
“Where are you taking me?” You frown, sounding almost offended as he takes your glass from you and hands it to Natasha, gently pulling you along.
“My place… let’s freshen up, come on,” Bucky patiently says, nodding at the girls to say goodbye, who just nod back, knowing you would be in good hands.
“Ooooo, bye girls, we’re going to his place to freshen up,” you wink exaggeratedly and make air quotations with your fingers, addressing your friends as you clumsily walk away with Bucky.
~~~
“Bridal style,” you loudly announce stretching your hands and legs to the air as soon as he steps inside his living room with you in his arms.
Bucky can’t help but laugh as a snorting giggle follows your words. If he had his way he would’ve carried you from the party, but he didn’t want to attract even more attention to your state. So, on the second trip on your own feet inside the elevator he picked you up. It would be easier that way.
Bucky carefully puts you standing on the floor and, as soon as he’s convinced you can stand on your feet without stumbling or falling, he turns to shut the door, only to have you jumping on him as soon as he faces you.
“Hey, hey,” he manages to say softly, placing his hands on your hips as you shower his mouth and face with sloppy kisses which taste strongly like fancy champagne.
“What? Let’s freshen up,” you answer in a log slur, dragging your lips on anything of him you can reach.
Bucky laughs, pushing you away with a gentle yet steady touch, looking deep into your eyes, “That’s not what I meant… not when you had so much to drink, sweetheart.” He flicks his thumb on your chin.
It takes a moment or two, but realization – and disappointment- finally dawns on your face, “Oh… you meant freshen up for real…” You shut your eyes and tap your hand on your forehead.
Bucky thinks you’re too damn cute for your own good.
You focus on him again, “Are you sure, though?” You insist, shoving a finger in your mouth and tilting your hips, putting on before him the unsexist pose Bucky has ever seen.
Yet, it’s the most adorable thing and his annoying heart swells inside his chest for you as you keep your attempts of seducing him, “Yeah, I’m sure,” he nods unrelentingly, holding back a laugh and waiting to see the follow up of your shenanigans.
“But I’m horny and I wanted to suck your big dick,” you pout, crossing your arms and thumping your foot against the floor.
Bucky takes in a deep breath. He is only human and can’t help that his poor cock twitches at your bratty whine. But your glossy half open eyes and dragged voice reminds him he’s the only one sober enough to make decisions in the room and therefore, his buddy down there needs to chill, “I’ll be more than happy to allow you to do so,” he’s amused when your face light up, “But not tonight, sweetheart,” he puts his hands on your shoulders and turns you towards the kitchen, not without spotting the dirty look you give him.
“You’re no fun,” you complain, barely able to put one foot in front of the other before you stop and swirl around, trusting on his strong hold to not let you fall wearing a devilish little smirk on your face.
Bucky cocks an eyebrow, waiting for whatever mischievous pearl will come out of your lips now.
“What if…” you start before a hiccup interrupts you, “I show you my boobies?” You offer, leaning over and pressing your breasts together through your dress, “You looove my boobies,” you wiggle your eyebrows suggestively even if your eyelids can’t even remain wide open.
“I do love your boobies,” Bucky can’t deny, not hiding his amusement.
Apparently, that’s all you need to hear before you throw yourself on him again. Bucky swiftly catches you with a huff, but you can’t do much more than circle your arms around his neck and rest your head on him.
“Love your muscles,” you mumble quietly against him, “There are so many of them.”
“Come on, sweetheart,” Bucky tries, “As much as I love your boobies and you love my muscles, now it’s not the time. Now it’s time to get you some water, maybe a sandwich, huh? Then I can prepare you a shower and you can rest a bit and… Y/N?” Bucky calls when you’re too quiet- not even making a sex innuendo when he mentions a shower.
He listens a not so soft snore as a response and looks down to see you completely dozed, with your mouth agape against his chest. He sighs… still the most beautiful thing he’s ever seen, goddammit.
“Guess we can skip right to the resting, then,” he whispers through a fond smile.
Taking you in his arms he walks towards his bedroom and places you on his bed. You only stir a bit when he gently removes your shimmery and apparently uncomfortable dress and unties your heels. He dresses you in a t-shirt of his so you can rest comfortably. He manages to make you drink a little bit of water, to which you whine graciously enough, and, after covering you with a thin blanket – because he knows you’re never really that cold at night, no matter the temperature in the room – he moves to get up and maybe take a shower for himself.
“Bucky,” you mumble and, without opening your eyes, you move yourself to nuzzle against his metal hand sprawled on the mattress, “You’re not going to leave me, are you?”
Bucky is absolutely sure you have no idea of what that question really means to him, how it falls upon the rising tangle of feelings inside him… which is all for you. Wonderful and beautiful and special you, who came unannounced and stirred up something in him he never thought possible. Something he just doesn’t know what to do with.
Moving meticulously slowly not to pull his hand and wake you up again now that you’re deep back into slumber, he lays down beside you. For your question… he doesn’t say anything. Simply because he doesn’t know the right answer yet.
