❝ YOUR DAD'S FRIEND ❞
farmer! toji x succubus! reader ft. gojo
➨ succubus : female sexual demon that feeds on a male sexual desire in their sleep.
your parents were divorced. so it was normal for you to spend the whole summer with your dad, back in the village he lives in. but what wasn't normal is getting fucked by the farmer next door who happens to be your father's friend, fushiguro.
warning : heavy smut, kinky, breeding, a lot of cum, squirting, daddy kink, dilf kink, anal sex, degrading, public sex, piss kink, a lot of fluid kink, spit kink, wet tongue kissing, toji is obsessed, pussy talk, dirty talk, fat cock, etc...
you were a succubus. a sex demon.
well maybe half demon? since your mother who's a succubus fell in love with your dad who's a human. he never knew what your mom was she kept it a secret. but her little secret was getting to dangerous once she found out that she was pregnant with you, that's when she decided to divorce your dad. breaking her heart and his heart but what was done had to be done.
your mom had full custody over you, but you still visited your dad from time to time. once you hit eighteen it was time for your mom to teach you about her little secret, after all you were just like her a demon.
a demon who feeds of people sexual desire to survive.
at first it was weird, instead of sleeping at night like any normal human do ; you were wide awake creeping in their dreams. it was weird how lifeless you felt if you didn't absorb energy through sexual dreams. it was weird how high you felt as your pussy suck the life out of a man's cock.
you're 20 now you got used to the way you are. you have a couple of friends who were just like you so you didn't really feel alone, gossiping about how kinky the quiet classmate that you fucked in his dreams was or about how your annoying teacher liked to be pegged in his dreams. college life was fun.
"sooooo you're going to your father's boring ass village this summer?". your friend gojo questions you as he wrap his arm around your shoulder.
you nudge his arm off you in disgust.
"don't put your arm on me! I don't want to touch you after knowing you fucked our old ass lunch lady in her dreams last night!". you shiver in pure disgust while glaring at him. 8shoko laughs next you as she stares at satorus heart broken face.
"hey! it's not my fault she wanted me so bad". he pouts at you before pulling you toward him by the waist and holding you tight.
you sigh before giving into his tight hold.
"do you really have to go to the bum village this summer?". shoko mutters out as she places the cigarette on her wet lips.
"yea I really don't have a choice but I promise I'll be texting you guys". gojo grunts disappointed at the fact you won't be partying with them this summer.
you hear mei mei heels clicking behind you as she makes her way toward the table. "what if I just distracted your dad by fuckin-".
"NO!". you immediately scream out in horror on the average of tears at the idea causing the whole group to laugh out.
"just promise you'll be keeping us updated". gojo firmly says, his hands gripping your waist harder, pulling you closer to him.
you knew satoru cared about you a lot and he would do anything to make sure you're safe and protected.
you node before placing a gentle kiss on his cheek, not noticing the way gojo flushes and his head drops hiding his face behind his white hair.
"i promise".
you take a deep breath in admiring your fathers small house. you were finally here in the village, you miss your friends already but you didn't hate it here. the air was fresher then the city toxic air and the sky was a lot clearer. you were found of the cold breeze that was hitting your body.
"do you like it?". your father nervously ask making your eyes soften, he always wants what's the best for you. you quickly node smiling at him.
"mhm- I love it!".
he let's out a relieved sigh before proudly shoving his hands into his pants pocket causing you to giggle.
"I'm glad you like it, I worked pretty hard on it with a help of a really good friend". he puffs his chest out, causing you to snort.
"oh here he is!". your dad speaks out, you shift your eyes to the truck car that was parking in the house next door. your breath hitch as the man behind the car makes his way out.
the man was tall and broad, his dark hair on display as he looked down pulling at his black tie, his other hand undoing the button of his blazer. his large veiny hands then moved to loosen the top buttons of the white dress shirt underneath, exposing the firm looking skin of his chest. it seemed like he wasn't comfortable or used to dressing like that.
it was only when he closed the door of his truck he looked up that your eyes widened.
Wow.
never had you seen a man so devilishly handsome. he was strong, you could tell that much, and not just in the physical sense. sure his broad frame and muscular physique was eye catching but his presence was utterly dominating and intimidating.
it was enough to have your pussy fluttering.
he had beautiful skin, and high defined cheekbones that complimented his strong jaw.
his striking dark blue eyes were cold and calculating, one of a powerful man who knew what he wanted and knew how to get it. and right now they were staring blankly at you, you could swear you saw a hint of lust behind them before they turned blank.
"i told you office work isn't meant for you fushiguro! you're meant to be a farmer". you hear your father jokingly talking to the man ahead of you.
fushiguro? so that's why he looked so uncomfortable in his cloth.
toji mutters out something to your dad that you couldn't really hear. your dad immediately turn his head toward you.
"oh! this is my daughter that I told you about". your father introduce him to you.
"this is toji fushiguro". toji simply looks at you his jaw clenching so hard likes he's trying to suppress something before he gaze at your dad listening to whatever crap he was telling him.
you sit awkwardly at the dinner table chewing on your food as you sneak a glance at fushiguro who sits across the table his huge forearm muscles flexing each time he takes a bite of his food.
little did you know that toji was fighting to control himself.
TOJI POV ;
fucking hell, toji groans in his thoughts as his fat cock twitch in his pants under the dinner table. how fucking disgusting of him getting hard at the dinner table because of his friends daughter, he doesn't know what you're doing to him. he hasn't been sexually active for years now and he has never experienced what he's feeling right now.
he feels like a pervert whenever the veins on his cock twitch as he take a glance at you. something about you feels so breedable to the point where his cock is itching to pound you, breed your dirty little pussy at the dinner table even while your dad is here.
he excuses himself to the bathroom, growling lowly as soon as he closes the door. he got to be losing his fucking mind toji thought to himself as he cup his raging fat cock through his pants.
he hisses at how sensitive it is as he pulls it out- the thickness of his tip was so red pumping with blood as precum leaks out of it.
he can't believe he's doing this right now, jerking off like a horny teenage boy in the bathroom but he can't go back while his cock is like this.
he takes a deep breath before looking around the bathroom for some sort of toilet paper so he can catch his cum when he finishes.
then his eyes land on something inside the washing machine. his cock press on his abdomen as he stares at the red thong in there.
no no he can't- you'll find out- his friend is going to find out for fuck sake.
but here he was his shirt lifted up holding it by his mouth as he huffs and drools on it while stroking his leaking cock with your thong.
fuck toji can't believe he's doing this but it was to good to resist, so good that it has his thighs shaking as he fuck into your thong. he can see his precum leaking through his tip and soaking the fabric.
oh how he wish he could force you to wear this thong once he fills it with his cum, keeping your little pussy warm. and this throws him off edge as robes of cum start shooting out of his fat cock into your thong.
painting it white just like he wished.
a knock was heard on the door causing toji relaxed body to tense.
"hey is everything alright man? we're going to sleep". toji sighs zipping his pants up and rinsing your thong under water making sure there's no drop of his cum left before placing it back where he found it.
"yea give me a minute". he huskly speaks out.
END OF POV.
you let out a deep sigh as you slam your body into the bed, something about your dads friend toji sleeping here tonight makes you excited for some reason.
you snort at your own thoughts before diving into someone's dream to feed off tonight.
you look around confused as you see yourself in the middle of a field. you can really make out where you were because of the tall grass.
you let out a loud gasp as you two rough hands gripping you by the waist and a warm breath fanning against your sensitive neck.
"caught you". a husky voice speaks out against your neck causing your legs to get weak as your heart beat faster once you feel his fat cock throbbing behind your ass cheeks.
he run his nose up your neck before reaching your ear and sucking on it in the most dirty way soaking it with his spit, his warm tongue peak out and trail your ear before reaching down your neck again but this time he bites on it.
you moan out in pain and pleasure, arching your ass into his cock as a reflex.
"hmmm you dirty fucking slut- rubbing yourself on my cock like that? what is your dad going to think hm?". he growls out, grabbing you by your hair and turning your face around.
your eyes widen once you realize who it is but it was already to late because his tongue was deep down your throat, swirling around every inch of your mouth as his large hands make their way inside your panties before shoving them down your legs.
he doesn't let you catch your breath once he pulls away from the kiss, bending you over on your knees before pushing your sundress over exposing your wet pussy.
"wait- ahhh!". he doesn't let you finish as he shove his finger deep inside your pussy grunting against your ass at how tight you are. toji couldn't help himself as he pull his already leaking cock out of his pants.
stroking his fat cock as his tongue peaks out leaking your clit before sucking it into his mouth. you can't believe this is happening.
you were in the middle of a field. on your knees, hands digging into the dirt as you feel tojis wet tongue swirling around your ass hole before sliding down to your bare pussy. his large rough hands gripping your plumpy ass, holding you in place as he devours your filthy pussy in the openness of this field.
"your dirty little pussy better water this fucking field with your squirt". tojis growls out as he graze his fangs on your clit while fisting his fat cock furiously behind you. you can hear the fapping sloppy filthy sound that tojis cock was making while he strokes, it was making your pussy even wetter to the point you weren't ashamed to mutter out your next words.
"and your cock better sow my fucking pussy with your seeds". and that's when toji lose it, he shoves his face completely into your ass.
you scream as you feel his nose entering your pussy, your eyes roll back you've never felt this before the combination of him sucking your clit while his nose fuck into your pussy was so deliciously dirty.
"yea give it to me". toji moans out his hand working harder on his cock as he feels you riding his nose, pushing back and forward against it. your juice was going everywhere from the force, his whole face was glazed.
"fuck-! too much I feel like I'm going to piss-! no more- ahhhhh". you start sobbing, you lost control over your body the pleasure was to much.
"yes-! yes-! you good fucking girl piss in daddy's mouth- piss in my mouth!". toji whines out his cock was starting to rut against your thighs.
your eyes roll back at his dirty words, not being able to hold it back anymore. you came with a force your clear piss landing in his mouth causing toji to groan in bliss at the feeling of your warm liquid. it was spilling and dripping down your thighs to his sensitive cock.
"i-! mmmmmmm, it's soooo good I can't-! I can't-!". your thighs shake as your hot juice spurt out of your pussy landing everywhere. toji couldn't hold his groaning anymore as he drinks in your squirt, it was so much so much. your hot liquid was dripping down his face while his cum was already spilled on his hand.
you were shaking, your body giving out but toji wasn't done with you. he stands up and hold your face with his cum filled hand smearing it on your red lips.
"does my little baby want daddy to take care of her?". he coo at you shoving a thumb in your mouth and you immediately suck on it, whinning as you taste his salty cum.
"shhhh let daddy do the work". he shushs you picking up your body and holding you into his arms. you place your head into his chest whimpering as you feel his fat cock ripping through your pussy.
"I know I know daddy's cock is to big? hm?". you sob feeling your pussy stretching fully trying to adjust to how thick his cock was.
"i- ahhhhh! mmmmmmmm!" you couldn't form out your words, you could feel every inch of his cock, his throbbing veins, his fat tip finally hitting your cervix. your body shakes against his, his cock was so thick so good.
"here baby? right here?". he grunts rutting his hips up, bouncing you on his dick. you were a mess drooling fucked out of your mind. toji growls before ripping your top off and diving into your bouncing boobs taking one of your fat nipples into his mouth sucking on it hard while his fat tip dive into the gummy walls of your pussy.
"gonna cum-! please". you sob out.
toji halt his movement pulling his hard dick out ripping a whine out of you before placing your body on the ground.
he hold both of your legs giving your ankles a wet kiss before placing them on his board shoulder as he sloppily tap his fat cock on your clit.
"tell me what do you want from daddy hm?". he breaths out trailing kissing on your feets.
"I want you inside- please! please-". you whine wiggling your bottom at him. toji hums before place his rough hand on your belly pressing his hand there as he questions.
"you want daddy here? hm? you want his cock to fill your belly?". you moan out at his dirty words eagerly noding your head.
toji doesn't hesitate as he shoves his cock fully inside in one go, reaching your insides before pulling out and doing the same again. your body was being shoved away by the force of his thrusts but toji growls holding you back into his cock by your feets.
you were so close so close to squirting all over his cock. you were going to-
"having fun without me?". you hear your friends voice gojo.
you gasp as you find yourself in your room again sweat coating your body.
what the fuck just happened.

Imagine a German director wants to make a movie about 911, and it's a musical. It is filmed in Germany or in sets, so you would see geographic errors, like the Twin Towers being surrounded by sakuras trees.
One of the terrorist wants to get the help of a lawyer. A lawyer (famous German singer and "actress", who happens to be black) that just won a case about police brutality! There was a bodycam footage of a police officer beating to death a 14 years old black kid who was coming back home, he thought he was trying you steal his own house, a totally a honest and not racist mistake! And she sangs about how people should forgive and let go, is not like sending the policeman to the jail is gonna change something! So the terrorists kidnaps her and she, WILLLINGLY, helps him get his green card because the implication is that all his bad actions were because he is from Saudi Arabia but like, once he obstains USA citenship, it will magically forgive all this actions and turn him into a good person.
The main cast is mostly german actors, with one Austrialian gay actor as the terrorist. Well of course , there's NO TALENT in Hollywood, so of course they have to hire other people. Oh but you have ONE American actress with a small appearance. She is the mother of a child who got murdered in a school shooting. She is HAPPY that her son died on the shooting, since he was a bad kid who sold drugs. See? Not all victims of gun violence are good people, stop feeling sorry for them! She will fall in love with the gay actor, who is now bisexual.
Everything is bad written, it literally sounds like they translated it with AI or directly with old Google translate, so will constantly see stuff like the lyrics of song saying "I deserve to be happiness, me deserve to be happinees!" and people saying "Welcome" instead of Good morning.
The german singer tríes her best to talk in English, but she just can't. And it doesn't make sense! Her grandparents were American who immigrated to Germany, she should be fluent in English by the magical powers of having american blood! English speakers keep saying it is very difficult to understand her, oh but we know for sure is just the americans who are complaining. Their education system is SO bad they can't even properly talk English, poor people 😭. There has been zero complaints when the movie debuted in China and Russia 👀 They are complaining about her English because they are racists! Good americans would never complain about a black women, be a good american! Good thing her fans are attacking all 911 survivors who said this movie is insensitive and innacurate, I mean, americans need an european to explain them their own problems, americans need to see this film to learn about 911! Oh but like, it will debut in USA last... so we can win some music awards first :3
The fact that absolutely no-one on tumblr is talking about the Emilia Perez movie is just.
It has everything this hellsite loves. The music. The queerness. The Selena Gomez. It has Goncharov vibes but make it Mexican. Wake up y'all.
EDIT : Not gonna delete the post because it's good to let people know of what's wrong with the movie. Look at the tags and notes to learn more about the issues surrounding the movie 👉
(and everyone chill and educate people before you attack them)

Omega Steve is enamored with Cringe Fail Alpha Eddie and everyone in his life knows it and doesn't understand why.
He's watching Eddie with heart eyes in their one shared class, sighing longingly as Eddie, bites the skin off around his nails and eats it while he ignores the teacher and plans his campaign. He's ignoring his friends' attempts to draw his attention when Eddie gets up on the table to give his semi-regular lunch table rants, almost slipping when he steps in someone's sandwich.
He is hands down the most popular Omega in the school even after he ditches his old friend and becomes Pack Omega to a bunch of puppies and band nerd Robin Buckley. He gets a stupid amount of courting gifts and never says yes to anybody, even a good amount of Betas have tried for his hand. The only Alpha that's never offered is Eddie Munson, and it makes Steve feel crazy.
And Steve knows he could just go over there and ask Eddie if he would be interested in courting, but he wants to be wood! He knows it's silly to way for the Alpha to make an offer but Steve is a romantic at heart and he wants to be wanted.
When Eddie starts dealing in his second senior year and Steve's first, Steve sees this as his chance to finally get close to Eddie organically and flirt a little to show Eddie he's interested. That he only smokes when someone buys for him is irrelevant. He'll buy every day if it means Eddie finally notices him. Robin says he's being a dingus. Steve insists he's a genius.
And so he goes to meet Eddie in the woods. To the average outsider, Eddie's hair is all frizzed out and he's probably worn the same pair of jeans every day this week and is overall a little bit of a rat. Steve Vision, however, only sees an extremely handsome, rugged Alpha seemingly waiting for him in the woods.
"Ah, King Steve. To what do I owe the honor?" It's probably meant as a dig, but it makes Steve preen a little anyway.
"Heard you were dealing now. Couldn't miss my chance to buy from the infamous Eddie Munson." Steve replies as he sits, leaning his head on his palm so he can look up at him from under his lashes. Laying it on a little thick? Maybe. But the way Eddie blushes is worth the cringy move.
With an in, Steve slowly starts inserting himself into Eddie's life more and more. He buys at least once a week, flirting all the while. Eventually, he asks if Eddie would like to meet his kids.
"They love that game, the dungeons one, and I think it would be fun if they all got to play while you ran the plays or whatever."
"Stevie, Stevie, Stevie. I know you know what it's called, but hell yeah lets do it! I'm dying to test my skills on some fresh players."
And of course, the kids love him. Well, Max is less than impressed and while Erica recognized him as an adequate DM, she is firm in her belief that Steve could do better. She's been insistent for the last year that he should be looking for a "real Fabio type" and Eddie Munson doesn't really fit the bill.
The real win of the night, however, is that Eddie brings so much stuff directly from his house that carries his scent. He still wears his scent patch like they all have to in school, which is disappointing, but his notes and books carry a distinct smokey, wet earth smell that nearly makes Steve swoon. He didn't get to see Eddie's reaction to walking into his house, another disappointment, but he just knows they're compatible.
After that, Steve gets himself an invite to Hellfire to watch. He loves seeing Eddie in his element, smiling along when Eddie crows with victory when someone in the party dies because of their own hubris. He stays and hangs out while Eddie cleans up chatting away about their days.
But for as much as Steve puts out all the right signals, and as much as Eddie seems to be flirting back, he hasn't made even a hit of a movement toward courtship. Steve doesn't want to give up, but he's starting to resign himself to the idea that he's just going to have to ask Eddie out himself.
Then one day while Steve is loitering around after Hellfire, an Omega cheerleader walks through the door asking for Eddie. She'd been sent this way by Chrissy Cunningham for some kind of anxiety medication since her mom wouldn't let her get a prescription. Steve's not thrilled by the interruption and is glaring daggers at the poor girl, but Eddie doesn't notice. No, Eddie is too busy breaking Steve's heart.
Eddie is doing all the same things he's done with Steve. All the things that gave Steve hope that Eddie was interested despite his lack of courting attempts. He's leaning in, teasing, hiding behind his hair at the slightest bit of attention. Apparently, those weren't reactions to Steve. That's just how Eddie reacts to any available Omega who looks his way.
Suddenly mortified, Steve jumps off the table he had been so happily perched on not five minutes ago. He grunts out some half-assed excuse and bolts for the door, pinching the bridge of his nose to stave off the humiliating tears.
From then on, he avoids Eddie as much as he can. No more weekly buying appointments. No more sitting in on Hellfire nights. He can't avoid him completely with the kids in the mix, but he keeps his distance as much as possible, too embarrassed and heartbroken to reach back out. He doesn't drop, not with Robin being such a stable Alpha figure in his life, but everyone can tell he's in a funk.
Eddie, meanwhile, has been as enamored with Steve as every other Alpha in Hawkins for years but never figured he would ever look his way in a million years.
When the Omega started appearing in his life, it felt a little like an episode of the Twilight Zone. Like he would wake up and it would all be some crazy dream induced by years of unfulfilled pining.
But Steve never disappeared and Eddie never woke up. Eddie still wasn't convinced that Steve would ever entertain the idea of courtship with him, so he simply didn't put himself in a position to be rejected, no matter what the Corroded Coffin boys said about Steve "blatantly and obviously begging you to court him, dude."
So on and on it went. The more time went on the more Eddie's instincts screamed that the Omega was his and the more Eddie forced himself not to think about it until all of a sudden Steve was just...gone.
Not gone gone of course. He sees him in the hallways and every now and then when Steve comes to pick the kids up from group hangouts that used to involve Steve on default. Robin also seems pissed at him which is its own thing, but Eddie would be lying if he said her glare didn't make him nervous.
He doesn't know what happened, but what he does know is that his chest hurts almost permanently now. He misses Steve like crazy and is determined to make them talk about whatever it is he did to make Steve avoid him.
Now if only he could get him alone...
------
Ran out of steam at the end there but in my mind Steve keeps avoiding Eddie with the help of Robin, Max, and Erica while Dustin, El, Will, and Lucas help Eddie. Mike would like for them to never get together, please and thank you.
After a couple of months of successfully avoiding Eddie, Steve decides to take up a beta's offer for a date which makes Eddie more jealous than he ever thought was possible. He's absolutely seething, even if he knows it's irrational to be that mad about an Omega he never had any claim over.
He ends up using the kids to break into Steve's house while he's out on the date to set up a competing date. He's all puffed up and ready to posture against Steve's date when he drops Steve off but instead, Steve walks up the driveway alone, looking defeated.
They argue on the front porch about why Steve has been so absent and eventually, Eddie deflates realizing that he's been hurting Steve with his inability to confront his own feelings.
He shows Steve the date he painstakingly set up for him inside, presenting his first of many courting gifts.

"Fight or fight." Daryl Dixon Imagine.
The Dixon brothers know there are only two options when faced with a problem: fight or fight, but maybe that lesson isn't such a bad one for Marley when she tries to defend her friend.
A/N: I'm not satisfied with this story but it's 4am in Peru and I didn't want to go to sleep without writing something. I hope you like it♥ (I'm sorry if anything Merle said was offensive, I really tried to think like him but I apologize anyway)
The smell of coffee and maple syrup fills the Dixon home.
There’s a faint scent of cigarettes too, permeating Daryl’s clothes as you pass him in the kitchen, (Something Daryl only did when he was very anxious) him grunting a good morning in response as his hands (experts at holding guns, making arrows, and killing walkers and people) clumsily attempt to make the best lion head pancake: scraps of strawberries for the fur and blueberries for the smiley face. When his mom was around and not drowning in alcohol and substances, she used to make Daryl and Merle these breakfasts, (a caress in the middle of the blows, or a show of peace to cushion the fact that there would be more pain) distant but never blurry stories from their childhood, good stories they could count on their fingers—but there’s something about Daryl’s frown, the way his concentration is about to pass the limit of fixation.
“Why are you so grumpy, huh?” You chuckle, playfully slapping his butt.
“I ain't grumpy.”
“Oh, no? Tell that to your brow. Are you like this because Marley’s leaving again?”
The thought makes Daryl’s heart clench.
“She ain't leavin' me. Ma baby’s goin' to preschool.”
You giggle, but you realize you’ve hit the nail on the head about his irritability because you never said leaving him, even though Daryl saw those 3 hours of classes, with a neighbor in the community who used to be a teacher, as she leaving her home, even though Marley was 5 years old and still had trouble tying her sneakers, which prevented her from running very far. But with breakfast ready, you and Daryl walk to the dining room table where Marley is sitting next to Uncle Merle, who, with his vast experience in street fighting and multiple arrests, shares with his niece some street smarts as he calls it.
“And listen, honey, if any of those uptight pricks try to mess with ya, ya clench yer fist and lean back to get some momentum 'fore ya hit 'em. Always go for the nose, ya hear me, lil' bunny?”
Marley smiles, oblivious to all kind of conflicts, the arguments, and the fights outside the walls because she grew up in a close-knit, loving, non-dysfunctional family—quite the opposite to the men’s previous lives in their house.
“Don’t tell her that, you ass—” You press your lips together, just to avoid the torrent of unfiltered words Merle easily earned. “It’s preschool, not a battlefield.”
Daryl shrugs, elbows on the table and hands clasped in front of him.
“I had ma first fight at 6.”
“Me at 4.” Merle replies, not wasting a second to pick up the thread of the conversation, full of pride. “Marley is a Dixon, sweetheart, so s'only a matter of time 'fore she uses those knuckles.”
With a mental slap, you ask Marley to finish her breakfast, but as the minutes tick by, your daughter’s dormant curiosity awakens with every second, asking you if you ever did that, too.
“I’ve never fought anyone.” You try to defend yourself, to create a safe space for her, but you can’t help but narrow your eyes when they scoff, almost in sync like besties.
“Didn’t yer grandfather teach ya how to punch?” Daryl chuckles, one corner of his lip lifting into a smirk.
“And don’ even get me started on that girl who tried to hit on ma baby brother.” Merle lets out a laugh at the memory, tense seconds after that girl said she could handle you when Daryl told her he was married. “Poor soul. Those sugartits of hers must be rottin’ away now.”
He even makes the sign of the cross over his face, almost convincing you that Merle believes in God, even though Merle only believes in Merle. But the table falls into an almost tactile silence when the baby of the house’s gaze saddens, blue eyes turning cold like her world.
“What do we do when someone is bullying someone, mama? Daddy?”
The promise of physical or mental pain in Marley makes Daryl hold his breath, but when silent gazes meet wondering what to do, he manages to let out the air before speaking.
“Is someone bullyin' ya, angel?”
“S'that damn Chinese kid, isn’t it?” Merle leans in toward her, like he’s trying to get information out of her like the bad cop. "Tell me the truth, honey, Uncle Merle will take care of everythin'."
“Uncle Merle, Hersh is Korean!” Marley frowns in frustration, but she shakes her head to ease all your concerns. “No. Miss Elena teaches us about bullying and that it’s bad for self-esteem.”
An hour later, when you open the door to your house, the sun is shining and fluffy clouds adorn the endless horizon, painting everything in beautiful shades of blue like Marley’s eyes, as bright as the idea that awakens her heart, the promise of living a different life outside of home, learning from books like her mom, and enjoying games with other children her age like her dad and uncle when they were kids. Hershel is 6 and walking down the street, accompanied by Matty, a 5-year-old boy with caramel-colored hair like candy, sweet like his shy personality when he sat reading on his porch with his round-framed glasses, but he's a little gentleman, always saying hello and have a nice day.
“Hey, Auntie (Y/N)!” The eyes of Maggie and Glenn’s son narrow adorably as he smiles, happily taking in your greeting and the way Daryl waves back and nudges Merle to make him swallow his racist comments. “Are you ready, Marley?”
Marley takes a few steps toward the porch stairs, but she stops, her mind screaming at her to do what she always does before saying goodbye.
“Bye, Mommy, bye, Daddy, bye, Uncle.” She waves, turning on her heels then to head down the stairs.
Daryl watches her go with a heavy heart, her brown hair like his own blowing in the spring wind and her excited walk, almost jumping with every step, her brown capybara backpack following her movements. Colors have no gender, and neither did the clothes you two dressed Marley in, always neutral because she never liked dresses or tiaras for her unruly hair like her father's.
But the moment Matty and Hershel take his daughter’s hand, Daryl and Merle’s scowls become more prominent with the surprise and the overflowing anger that is born within them in a single second.
“What the fuck?” The brothers say, in unison.
“I knew that damn Chinese boy wanted somethin' with ma bunny.” Merle’s words sour his mouth, but he makes the monumental effort not to spit out.
“Hershel is Korean, you fuc— racist.” You grimace in disgust, free to blurt out those words on an empty street.
“Whatever.” He answers, without a drop of regret, his voice deepening with the confidence in his words. “We have to do somethin' 'fore one of those bandits steals our baby, lil' brother, that Chinese boy or the nerd one.”
You exhale, because your body can’t take any more of the stupidity you hear from him.
“Matty is sweet and he’s not a nerd just because he wears glasses. I wore reading glasses too.”
“Yeah, but ya looked cute, he looks stupid.” Merle scoffs, looking back at Daryl. “What are ya sayin', baby brother? Are we makin' it look like an accident or what?”
You want to roll your eyes at all the nonsense you hear, but alarm bells go off with a panicked expression from you, eyes slightly widened in response to Daryl's silence, who, you can see, is seriously considering the idea.
“You two are damaged, really.” You squint, but annoyance makes you shake your head in disbelief. “Although their names do in fact rhyme, Marley, Matty…”
Your laughter dies when Daryl narrows his eyes at you, because the bile by that confusing feeling in the pit of his stomach makes his mouth sour as well.
“Stop it, woman, I’m warnin' ya.”
You chuckle, tilting your head slightly to look at him sarcastically.
“Or what?”
“Or there is no sex for ya tonight.”
He says it so seriously, normal words that cause a laugh in Merle, so open because time had given Daryl the confidence to joke about your intimacy in front of his brother.
“You know what? It would be better if you slept in Marley's bed or with your dear brother tonight.” With your head, you point to the accused present, although Merle frowns in displeasure. “Leave those children alone, you assholes. And now go do something useful with your lives instead of killing Marley’s friends with your eyes. I have to go back to work so please wait for her for lunch. And I beg you, don’t do anything stupid.”
With a tired sigh, because life had rewarded you with 3 children and not just one, (a titanic task of raising them because the older ones were already programmed with wrong ideas) you go to work at the infirmary. But in the company of their primitive thoughts (although not wrong ones unfortunately), their eyes meet and they come to a revelation.
“We are doin it. Hell yeah.” Merle chuckles. “But if yer dear wife finds out, she’s gonna kick yer ugly ass and mine as well.”
Daryl wants to say no, but that sixth sense of fatherhood that awakened in him when Marley was born is sending too many signals to his body to ignore.
“Whatever, I’m sleepin' in ma kid's bed anyway whether this goes wrong or not.”
“That’s the attitude, brother!" Merle smiles. "Cause I ain't lettin' ya sleep with me, over ma dead body.”
An hour and a half later, the Dixon brothers are standing to one side of Elena’s house, in the shadows of the wall where the sunlight can't reach, while a small group of children are playing in the makeshift playground in the backyard. Marley runs around the place like a free soul, laughing in a world rising from the ashes. She loved to walk barefoot in the dirt outside Alexandria’s walls, exploring and discovering with her body what Mother Nature still had to offer.
But the picture darkens when a boy Marley’s size that Daryl recognizes well, (a ghost of the typical bully Merle used to be), pushes Matty to the ground to take away the toys he was sharing with his daughter.
Beside him, Merle laughs watching the scene.
“The lil’ prick can’t even protect himself.”
Daryl's choice is to intervene now or see the altercation unfold, but his fatherly instincts kick in hard when Marley steps in front of the boy to protect Matty, earning a shove to her fragile body that the green grass receives. As if the world were painted red, as if his little girl's life were in mortal danger, Daryl runs to defend Marley, but he stops short (Merle's body crashing into his) when Marley stands up cleaning her small hands on her pants, only to push the boy as well with a force that is more than physical, the adrenaline that shoots through and makes her stronger than her short 5 years.
“Eat dirt, asshole!” Above his body, Marley pushes his face with her hands towards the ground.
It’s crazy to Daryl, crazier than thinking the dead came back to life when he grabs his daughter by the waist to remove her from the boy, away from the confusion and blurry vision, though her eyes remain fixed on her target—I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, Daryl thinks proudly.
But on the way back home, it’s still absurd to Daryl that he heard his little girl say a bad word after having protected her innocence from anything offensive.
“Marley…” Daryl looks down to meet his daughter’s curious eyes, blue ones that are as deep as her feelings at her young age. “Who taught ya to say asshole, sweetheart?”
Now that the word was free in the wind, he didn’t see why he should not say it, or avoiding. But holding Uncle Merle’s hand, Marley’s innocence leads her to look at the eldest Dixon brother, only to then look at her daddy with a shrug, saying silently: I don't know.
“Ha! That's ma lil’ bunny.” Merle smiles, proud.
But when the men see you sitting on the couch on the porch of the house, Daryl looks down again.
“Good news, angel, daddy's sleepin' in yer room tonight.”
Oblivious to reality, Marley smiles.

MASTERLIST
⚠️SENSITIVE CONTENT⚠️
Oscar Piastri always said that his childhood was peaceful, almost perfect. He grew up in a stable home, surrounded by love, comfort, opportunities and sisters. His parents made a point of supporting him in everything, especially his passion for racing. He never had to worry about what he would have to eat or whether he would have clothes to wear. For Oscar, the difficulties were an abstraction, something he only knew from the news or distant stories.
His wife, on the other hand, grew up in a completely different world. Her mother died the day she was born, leaving a hole that her father tried to fill as best he could. Deciding that he would raise his daughter with love. With two jobs and endless nights of work, he did everything he could to keep food on the table and give Y/n a home, even if it was humble. But financial difficulties were inevitable. She often wore hand-me-downs from cousins or bought at cheap department stores. Toys were rare, and anything new, like shoes or clothes, was a precious gift.
But now everything was fine. She had overcome all obstacles together with her father, she had graduated from a university, she had a job that gave her an excellent salary and she had a husband who gave her love, affection and everything she needed - even what she didn't need.
But then, memories of the past came back when old photos were taken out of the attic.
It was summer vacation, Oscar and Y/n had decided that they would visit the journalist's father in London. Where he currently lived. It was a peaceful afternoon, full of laughter and conversations around the table. Y/n's father - Ben, was excited, talking about how his company was currently going and exchanging ideas with Oscar and Y/n's uncles about races that his son-in-law participates in.
While everyone was busy exchanging ideas, Y/n was in the attic, a space that was rarely visited. She knew that there was a piece of her family history there, memories that her father carefully packed when he moved into that house.
She had an old album on top of her legs, the photos brought a sense of nostalgia. Making her smile and laugh.
Sitting on the cold attic floor, she began flipping through the pages. The journalist smiled when she found a photo from her parents' wedding. His mother was stunning, wearing an elegant dress and a smile so kind it seemed to light up the room. Her father, young and full of hope, looked at her as if the whole world were before his eyes.
Y/n had always heard stories about her mother: a sweet, polite woman with a huge heart. Even though he had never met her, those stories were enough to make Y/n feel like he knew her deeply.
As he flipped through the pages, one particular photo caught his eye.
It was of her, at age five, holding her foot up in the air to show off a pair of bright pink sneakers with beads dangling from them. She was beaming, her smile so big it seemed impossible that it could come from a child who had faced so many hardships. These were the first new sneakers she had ever received, a birthday present her father had gone to great lengths to buy.
She held the photo tightly, remembering what life was like back then.
After his mother left, the family's financial condition changed drastically. His father did everything he could to provide the essentials, but it wasn't easy. Y/n often wore clothes handed down from cousins or cheap department stores. But in that photo, with those new sneakers, the little girl's happiness was genuine. Despite the circumstances, she was happy.
And when she looked in the box in front of her, there was the sneaker. Now quite old because of the time and how much she had used it as a child. She picked it up smiling, but already feeling tears falling.
Y/n began to cry, a cry of pain as she remembered the struggles she and her father faced, but also of gratitude for those precious moments, for that pink sneaker that meant so much more than it seemed.
"Here you are, my girl!! I thought you had run away from me" Oscar said in a light tone, but his voice soon changed when he noticed his wife's tears. He quickly approached, kneeling beside her. "Y/n, my love? What happened? Is everything okay?"
He saw the photo she was holding and the pair of pink sneakers in front of her. The faraway look in her eyes. Without hesitation, he wrapped an arm around her, pulling her close.
Oscar also looked around, seeing the boxes full of old things, each one carrying a piece of his wife's history. His heart sank as he imagined the little girl she had been, facing so many hardships with a smile on her face.
Oscar wiped the tears from Y/n's face carefully, his eyes carrying a mixture of concern and affection. He didn't want to rush her, but he also couldn't bear to see her in pain.
"Honey, tell me... why are you crying?" His voice was low, almost a whisper, as if he was afraid of breaking something delicate in the air between them.
Y/n took a deep breath, trying to contain the tremor in her voice. "I... I was looking at these pictures. My childhood, my father... everything. And it hurts, Oscar. Not a physical pain, but an emotional one. Seeing these pictures reminds me of how hard things were. And as much as you know about my story, there are things I've never been able to tell you."
The McLaren driver looked at her intently, his brown eyes full of understanding. He didn't press her, just waited, holding her hand firmly. Y/n looked down at the album in his lap, running his finger along the worn edges of the pages.
"I... I didn't tell you everything because I felt embarrassed," she confessed quietly, as if the admission itself weighed too much. "The difference between our childhoods... You, your sisters, your parents... always telling such happy, excited stories. Like everything was perfect. I felt so... small. Helpless. Inadequate." Y/n hesitated for a moment, before continuing. "Even when your sisters asked me about my childhood, I lied a little. Not because I didn't trust them, but because... because I didn't want to seem so different from you. So inferior."
His chest tightened at that. He pulled Y/n into a tight hug, resting his chin on her head. "Oh, love..." He closed his eyes, breathing in the familiar scent of her hair as he held her close. "You should never have felt this way. Never."
Y/n held his shirt tightly, as if she needed to anchor herself in that moment. "I know, but it was impossible not to feel."
Oscar leaned in slightly, cupping her face in his hands so she would look at him.
"Y/n, love, listen to me. None of this makes you inferior, small, or inadequate. Nothing. All of this just shows how amazing you are. How strong, persistent, and admirable you were to go through all of this and still become the wonderful woman you are today. I'm so proud of you. SO MUCH." He smiled softly, his eyes brimming with tears. "And one day, when we have children of our own, I hope they'll be at least half as strong as you. Because honestly, that would be more than enough to make them amazing."
Y/n started crying again, but this time, her tears were of relief.
"Thank you, Osc. For always making me feel this way. For loving me so much."
He kissed her on the forehead before whispering, "Always."
As she calmed down in his arms, Y/n began flipping through the album again. She pointed to one photo in particular and, with a shaky smile, began to tell him more about her childhood.
In the photo, a little girl in a simple dress held a doll with a missing leg. "That was my favorite doll," Y/n explained with a light laugh. "I got it from a cousin. It was used, but I loved it so much. My dad sewed its leg back on once, but it didn't hold up very well, so I ended up losing it again."
Y/n at 4 years old.
The doll, which she affectionately called “Lina,” was in her hands as she played in the small dirt yard. The simple dress she wore was already stained with dirt, but she didn’t care. The world around her seemed to disappear as her imagination took over.
"Come on, Lina" she said with conviction, her childish voice carrying a strength that seemed far beyond her years. "You're a warrior! You don't need two legs to be strong. We'll win this battle together!" One of the doll's legs was about to fall off.
With a piece of branch she found in the backyard, Y/n improvised a sword for Lina. In the scenario she created in her head, the doll was facing enormous monsters, creatures that represented everything that seemed unfair in the world.
Lina was invincible, and Y/n wanted to believe that she was too.
Suddenly, the fragile stitching on Lina’s leg gave way again, and the piece her father had attached fell to the ground. Y/n paused for a moment, staring at the loose leg. Her expression hardened, but not in sadness. Instead, she picked Lina up, holding her in front of her face, and said firmly,
"It's okay, Lina. You're still the strongest of them all. Real warriors don't need to be perfect."
She hugged the doll tightly, feeling a kind of comfort in having Lina as her adventure companion. Even without fully knowing why, that small broken object represented something important to her. Lina was resilient, and Y/n wanted to be too.
Later, when he entered the house, her father noticed his daughter's determined look and the doll in her arms.
"What happened, dear?" He asked, pointing to the fallen leg that Y/n was holding along with Lina.
Y/n shrugged, a small smile on her face. "Lina doesn't need this, Daddy. She's still strong. Like us."
The father smiled sadly, but also with pride. He took the doll and said, "Even so, we will try to sew it again, just to make sure it continues in its battles."
Y/n nodded, sitting next to him as he pulled out the needle and thread. And as he worked, she thought that maybe she could be fixed too, every now and then. After all, warriors need help too.
Y/n sighed, a faint smile crossing her lips as she discreetly wiped away a tear that had fallen. "I remember how it felt... so big to me. It was just a doll, but somehow she was all I needed to feel like I wasn't alone."
Oscar smiled, and we ran our hands over his wife's back in comfort. He knew that Y/n had faced many things in her childhood, but hearing this specific story and imagining his wife, so small and already carrying such a heavy burden, made his heart ache.
She picks up another photo. Oscar's journalist wife started crying again, this memory came back every time she had a birthday.
The photo showed Y/n sitting at a wooden table, a small makeshift cake in front of her. The candles were made of matches with small pieces of aluminum foil wrapped around them.
"That was my sixth birthday," she said, her voice cracking. "My dad only had enough money to buy a cake or candles. He apologized so much, but to me, it was one of the best cakes of my life. Because he never let me feel like I was missing out, even when I was."
Oscar ran his hand through her hair, his heart breaking at the thought of it. He began to cry quietly.
Y/n at 6 years old.
It was a simple afternoon, like any other, but for Y/n, that was a special day. She was turning six. The smell of chocolate cake filled the small kitchen, while her father finished setting the table carefully.
Y/n walked into the kitchen, her eyes shining with anticipation. She knew there wouldn't be any expensive gifts or big parties like she saw in her schoolmates' stories, but for her, what mattered was her father's effort.
"It's ready, honey," Ben said, with a tired but warm smile. He placed the cake in the center of the table. It was small and had no elaborate frosting, just a few chocolate shavings on top.
"Wow, Daddy! It's beautiful!" Y/n said, climbing up on a chair to take a closer look.
Ben smiled awkwardly. "Well, there's one thing... I couldn't buy candles, so I improvised." He pulled out a small matchbox and showed off the little candles he'd made by wrapping little pieces of aluminum foil around the matches.
Y/n looked at the makeshift 'candles' and smiled widely. "These are amazing, Daddy! I've never seen candles like this before!"
He laughed, relieved by his daughter's positive reaction. "Let's light it up, then."
He placed the matches on the cake and lit them carefully. The small flames flickered, casting a soft light on Y/n's face. They sang and little Y/n always had a smile on her face.
"Now, make a wish, my warrior," Ben said, bending down to her level.
Y/n closed her eyes tightly, holding her little hands together. In a low voice, she made her wish: "I wish that daddy never gets sad. And that we always have cake on birthdays,"
She opened her eyes, blew out the makeshift candles, and Ben began to clap, cheering her on. "Well done! Happy birthday, sweet Y/n!" He leaned down to kiss her forehead.
Afterwards, they sat down to eat the cake. Each slice felt like a treasure. Ben chatted with Y/n, asking about school stuff, and she excitedly talked about how she had painted a picture for him.
At that moment, Y/n didn't see the difficulties, nor the lack of purchased candles or a bigger party. All she felt was love. And that cake, with its improvised candles, became one of the most precious memories of her life.
Back in the present, Y/n wiped away some tears as she held the photo. "I don't know how he did it, Oscar. How he always made it seem like everything was okay, even when I knew it wasn't."
Oscar wrapped an arm around her, kissing her cheek tenderly. "It's because he loves you! And you deserve every bit of that love and mine. He taught you to be strong, and look where that got you today."
She smiles shyly, feeling warm in her husband's arms, as she always has. Oscar's arms were always a safe haven where she could run whenever something went wrong. It was like that, ever since they started dating. 6 years ago.
The journalist takes another photo. She was sitting around the table with a blanket and in the background, through the window, she could see heavy rain. And that's when she remembered what had happened that day.
Y/n at 7 years old.
The sky was gray and heavy, and the rain fell like a thick curtain as Y/n walked down the street. Her backpack, already a little worn, was soaked, and her school uniform clung to her small body. She held her books against her chest, trying to protect them from the water, but without much success. There was no umbrella, and there was no money for the bus that day, as on so many others.
The walk seemed endless, each step heavy with fatigue and cold. When she finally arrived home, shivering and wet, her father greeted her at the door with a worried look.
"My girl, I was just coming for you!" he exclaimed, looking worried, quickly pulling out a towel to wrap her in. He took her to the bedroom, waiting outside for her to change her clothes and wrap her in a thick blanket. "Come here, I'll make you something warm," he said, as he ran to the kitchen.
A few minutes later, Y/n was sitting at the kitchen table, holding a mug of hot tea in her hands. A plate with rice, salad and egg was in front of them. It was simple but comforting. As she ate, she looked at her father, who was sitting in the living room with his back to her.
He was quiet, but Y/n could hear the small sobs he was trying to hide. He ran his hand over his face, as if he wanted to erase the tiredness and sadness that were taking over him. Even at such a young age, Y/n knew why. She knew he fought every day to give her the best, but sometimes he felt like it wasn't enough.
Y/n finished her food and ran to him, hugging him from behind. "I love you, daddy," she said, her voice sweet and small. He turned around, surprised, wiping his eyes quickly.
"I love you too, my warrior. More than anything in this world."
Y/n was now leaning against Oscar's chest, sobbing with the tears that fell, while he also cried.
"That week I got so sick that I spent a few days in the hospital," she says between sobs and puts away the photo, turning the page of the album.
Y/n at 10 years old.
Y/n was standing in front of the small mirror in her room, adjusting her new school uniform. The clothes were hand-me-downs, but she wore them carefully, running her hands over the fabric to smooth them out. Her hair was impeccably combed, with a clip that she loved. On her wrist, a faint scent of the sweet perfume she had gotten from her grandmother wafted through the air.
She looked in the mirror and smiled at herself. "You look beautiful!" She murmured, as if trying to convince herself of it. She grabbed her backpack and left the house alone, since her father had left for work too early.
The walk to school was long, but she kept going. When she arrived, she saw the playground full of children accompanied by their parents. Some mothers kissed their children goodbye and hugs, adjusting their new backpacks and telling them to 'behave'. The children were impeccably groomed, their clothes and shoes clearly new.
Y/n paused for a moment, taking in the scene. A pang of sadness gripped her heart as she imagined what it would be like if her mother were there. She wondered what it would be like to hear her mother telling her to "Have a nice day" or adjusting her hair before entering school.
A silent tear ran down her face, but she quickly wiped it away with the back of her hand. "Don't cry, Y/n. Today is supposed to be a good day, new school!" She said to herself, straightening her shoulders. With a brave smile, she walked to the school entrance, ready to face the new challenge. She had no one to hold her hand, but she decided that was enough. After all, her father always said: "You are strong, my girl. Stronger than you think."
Back in the present, Y/n held the photo and sighed, the memories as vivid as if they had happened yesterday.
"I'll never forget how he made it seem like everything was okay, even when it wasn't. He always said that even without my mom, I wasn't alone, because he was with me. But sometimes it was so hard..."
Oscar held her close to his chest, kissing her head. His tears fell into her hair.
"You've been through so much, Y/n, and yet you're still the most incredible woman I know. Your father is so proud of who you've become. I know I am too."
Y/n at 15 years old.
Y/n sat in one of the chairs at the back of the classroom during her first week of high school, trying to be as inconspicuous as possible. The school was bigger and more modern than she was used to, but the differences went far beyond the facilities. She soon realized that most of her classmates came from wealthier families, with brand-name backpacks, new cell phones, and stories of vacations in places she only knew from television.
During the break, as she ate what she had managed to bring from home—a chicken, lettuce, and mayonnaise sandwich made on yesterday morning’s bread—she heard whispers around her. “Have you seen her shoes?” one girl whispered to another. “I think they’re from a thrift store.”
Y/n swallowed hard, pretending not to hear, but the words hit her like a punch. It was true that her shoes were used; they had been bought at a second-hand store. She felt the gaze of her classmates as if it were an invisible chain pulling her down, trying to shame her for something she could not change.
But that afternoon, during a history class, the teacher proposed a group presentation. And that's when she met her best friend, the sweet girl who didn't care about Y/n's financial situation and who she still kept in touch with today.
She was also Y/n's maid of honor. She owes Ceci a lot of good things.
Each student had to explain a historical topic to the class. Y/n volunteered to speak, even though she knew it would be the first time her classmates would pay attention to her.
She spent the night studying, reading the old books her father had bought from an old library. Y/n held her head high and presented her topic with confidence. Her passion for learning was clear, and her firm, determined voice made everyone in the room fall silent.
After the presentation, the teacher praised her in front of everyone. "That, my students, is dedication! An example of how, with effort, we can overcome anything." Some of the classmates who had whispered about her before now looked at her with respect, but Y/n knew that the most important thing was how she felt. She had proven that her financial situation did not define her.
She smiled as she told him, but she could hear a sob escaping Oscar. She turned, with that sweet smile she always gave Oscar, placing a hand on his cheek.
"I'm sorry...I didn't mean to cry and make you feel even sadder."
"No, no." She smiles wider. "I'm fine. And do you know why? Because now I have you here, to complete the love my father always gave. I have two such brilliant men in my life, that all the pain I once felt is minuscule compared to the love I receive from you."
Oscar sobs again, kissing his wife's cheek, where tears are slowly streaming down.
The last photo in the album was of a young Y/n, but not too long ago. A little before she met Oscar.
There were several suitcases around her and she smiled excitedly. She was moving to study. She had gotten accepted into the university she had always dreamed of.
Y/n at 17 years old.
The day her college acceptance letter arrived was one of the happiest moments of Y/n's life. The envelope was a little wrinkled, but when she opened it, she felt like her whole world had lit up. She had made it: a place at the college she had always dreamed of.
Her father came home that night exhausted from work, but Y/n ran to him, holding the paper with shaking hands. "Daddy, I did it! I'm going to college!"
His eyes widened, and a huge smile formed on his face. "My girl... I knew you could do it! I always knew!" He hugged her tightly, but when he pulled away, the smile gave way to a worried expression.
"Y/n... I want you to go so much, but..." He sighed, looking away. "I don't know if I can help you with this. I've already taken out so many loans... I don't know if it's possible to take out more. I don't want you to have to give up on your dream because of me."
She took his hands in hers, squeezing them affectionately. "Daddy, it's okay. I've already taken care of this."
He frowned in confusion. "What do you mean?"
“I’ve got a job near the university,” he explained with a determined smile. “It’s a modest salary, but enough to support myself and buy food. And the accommodation I’ll be staying in is free for low-income students. I’ll be fine, I promise.”
His eyes filled with tears, and he pulled Y/n into another hug. "My girl... You're so strong. So incredible. I always knew you were special, but... seeing you grow into this determined woman... I can't describe how proud I am of you."
His words made Y/n cry, but this time it was a cry of relief and love. She knew the path would be difficult, but she was ready to face it. After all, she was the daughter of the strongest man she had ever known.
Y/n laughs softly. "That day was magical," she says, and Oscar smiles, seeing that his wife was calmer now with all the sad feelings that had enveloped her minutes before. "I confess that, even though the years at university were a little difficult, they were easier compared to childhood." She smiles, and then turns to Oscar. "And do you know why? Because in the first year I went to do an internship at F3 and met the love of my life."
Piastri smiles and then the two kiss, sealing their lips in a sweet and comforting kiss.
"I love you so much, my Piastri girl!" She smiles at the nickname.
They were hugging each other, still looking at the various boxes, until the pilot's eyes fell on that bright pink, beaded sneaker. Oscar smiles and leans over to hold it.
"Look, how cute!" He smiles. "And very authentic and original!"
Y/n lets out a sincere and genuine laugh. "Did you like it? I decorated it" she smiles.
She felt freer now, the past didn't haunt her so much, she was fine now. Great house, excellent salary, comfortable vacations, her father had a company that made him earn 100 times more than before and she had Oscar. Her calm, attentive and helpful husband. A man who came out of a fairy tale. And who was hers!
Only hers...and of course, her future children. Because the babies will also be very lucky to have Oscar Piastri as their daddy.
"Do you want to tell me about the history of sneakers?" He holds the small pair of shoes in his hands. "Of course, only if you feel comfortable."
Y/n smiled in agreement. Standing straighter and crossing her legs, she watched Oscar admire her shoes.
"These were my first new sneakers." She smiles. "Really new, in the box and with that brand new leather smell." Y/n laughs. "And I was so excited about them that my dad let me put glitter and beads on them. They were so special to me that when they didn't fit anymore I kept them as a fond memory," she says. "They're worn out from so much use and also from being stored away for so many years, but they're still as shiny as new."
Oscar laughs, still looking at the little boy in pink sneakers.
"I wonder..." he begins, smiling. "Can I keep them?" Oscar asks, a tear falling across the smile on his face.
Y/n frowns a little, but nods. "Sure! But why?"
Oscar held the small pair of sneakers with an almost reverent care, as if they were an heirloom. He ran his fingers over the faded beads, the shine still visible despite the years.
"I want to take you to our home in Monaco." Oscar begins, his voice slightly cracking.
Y/n tilted her head in surprise. He looked up at her, his gaze full of love and admiration.
"Because I want to leave them on display there. In a special place, where I can see them every day. Those sneakers aren't just a reminder of your childhood, Y/n. They're a symbol of everything you are. A woman who, from a young age, turned the little she had into something extraordinary. I want to remember that always, and I want anyone who walks into our home to know the incredible story of the person you are."
Y/n felt her eyes well up as she absorbed those words. She took a deep breath, trying to contain her emotion, but a single tear escaped and ran down her cheek. "Osc..."
The pilot placed the sneakers on his lap and leaned over to hold her hands. "I know you treasure them, and if you'd rather they stay here, I'll understand. But to me, they represent everything I admire about you. Your strength, your resilience... and the fact that even with so little, you found ways to shine." She smiled, feeling her heart overflow with love for this man who always knew the right words to say.
“You can take them,” she said, her voice breaking. “To know that you want them on display, that they mean as much to you as they do to me… it makes me so happy, Oscar.”
He smiled and pulled her into a warm hug. "Thank you, my love. I promise to take care of them as well as you did."
As Oscar carefully put away the sneakers, Y/n watched, feeling grateful to have someone who saw beauty and strength in even the simplest objects in her story.
For her, those sneakers were a reminder of her difficult childhood, but for Oscar, they were a celebration of everything she had achieved.
She didn't know how to react, but her tears continued to fall, this time accompanied by a shy smile.
"I... I never imagined that one day I could have someone like you, Osc," she said, her voice breaking again. "Someone who truly understood me, who would be there for me no matter what. Someone who would look at me and see the good in me, even when I couldn't see it myself."
Oscar pulled her closer, cuddling her against his chest again, as if he wanted to protect her from the world and the past, now so distant, but still so vivid in her memory.
"I will give you the best, Y/n. I want you to know that now you will never be alone. You have me. And of course, your father. And together we will build something better. Not only for us, but for future children. I promise they will never know the struggle you went through. They will grow up with the love, security and opportunities they deserve. Just like you, because you deserve the world and so much more!"
Those words broke the last shred of restraint in Y/n. She hugged Oscar tighter, pain and relief mixing together. But the happiness of being with him for the rest of her life outweighed the pain.
For the first time, she felt that her story no longer needed to be one of solitary struggles. Now, she had someone to share her scars and heal her pain, and most importantly, to build a different future with. And this made her cry, but with happiness, knowing that her future children would have a much more peaceful life full of love.
That love she received from Oscar and her father. Because she never doubted that Oscar would be an excellent father and Ben a great grandfather.
Author: Sorry about this, I know it's heavy. I cried writing it and when I was revising it😭

Both of the above are true.
Glinda is absolutely talking to Elphaba when she delivers that line. As soon as she sees her, Glinda is rushing into her arms squealing with glee. She is just thrilled to see her best friend; she is the only person in the room who is not able to notice the tension because she is the only person who is able to completely ignore unpleasantness until it directly impacts her.
And then it does.
It is not Fiyero who has betrayed her. Glinda sees in black and white. Fiyero is her prize and I am not entirely convinced Glinda believes him to be capable of an independent thought, despite all of the evidence piling up in front of her throughout both the end of their time at Shiz (told to us by Galinda at the train station) and Thank Goodness direct from the horse's mouth. (Pun not intended for movie Fiyero, but inevitable.)
Glinda is a complex character and when we analyse Popular, we can absolutely know that she is going to be an intelligent politician. However, she is far too embedded in the propaganda machine and two possibilities emerge - either Glinda has been genuinely suckered in, or Glinda does not realise how her own actions can be interpreted. What is absolutely clear is that Glinda thinks all three of them have a singular vision in mind and does not understand why Elphaba and Fiyero are not fully on board with it. She can't see that she has veered off the agreed path. Poor, misguided, brainless Fiyero has been lured away by this wicked witch. There is no nuance; there is no grey.
Fiyero could have run off with anybody and it would hurt her pride, but Elphaba has broken her heart. "I thought you loved me" is not directed at Fiyero and anybody who thinks it is, to be truthful, anyone who thinks it refers to romantic love, regardless of who and how you ship, would be missing the point of Wicked. Glinda's love for Elphaba as a friend runs far deeper than anything she could ever have felt for Fiyero, even for Elphaba as a lover.
Which brings me onto the next point. Glinda is so blindsided by what has happened precisely because "Why, Miss Elphaba, you're beautiful" is nothing more than a parody of Old Hollywood movies when the hero removes the heroine's glasses, unpins her almost voluptuous curls, and sees her as an object of desire for the first time.
Glinda does not believe Elphaba to be beautiful and Fiyero does not need her to be. When Elphaba is tossing her hair -
"Toss, toss. What?!"
"Nothing. It's just you've been Galindafied. You don't need to do that, you know."
- we realise that he has never seen her as someone who needs to be "improved" to be desired. And even if we, the audience, don't recognise this for what it is at the time, Elphaba does. Subconsciously, at least. Elphaba's magic cannot touch him in the following scene because more than anything else, she desires the person who can see this; the person who thinks like her.
"It's looking at things another way" comes after Elphaba desperately wishing she could be beautiful for him, which must devastate him. She tells him not to lie to her and he reassures her that he's not lying, he's looking at things another way. Superficially, you're right. This is an awful thing to say to someone and would perhaps, in Act 1 - if said post "toss, toss", have got a laugh. But Act 2 Fiyero is not a superficial character.
"It's looking at things another way" has many, many meanings. On the surface, it means this person isn't beautiful unless you're wearing sunglasses indoors at night time and maybe, you squint. But it also means I see you for who you are, which when she's has been on the run for years, and the world is casting back a reflection of the most odious creature they can think of with extra eyes, the ability to shed her skin, must be an enormous weight from her shoulders.
Crucially, it it means, I don't think like everybody else; I think like you. I always have done.
"Elphaba, we are going to be together always. You can see houses flying through the sky. Can't you see that?"
Cutesy line, but it does double duty. It means, can't you think like me too? And that's when he gets his kiss. Then, of course, as @deeplyshalllow has said above, it's repeated back for him at the end of the musical and the answer is yes, she can and she does.
my favourite wicked headcanon is that, in the scene in act two when Glinda is like “you mean… all this time? The two of you? Behind my back?” She’s actually mainly talking to Elphie and is like “I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME” but fiyero is like “oh no she is obviously talking about me bc I’m more important than my gf”
also can we just talk about how when Elphaba is having her moment whne she’s like “I wish I could be beautiful for you” and fiyeros like “u r” AND THEN HES LIKE “nah man ur not ugly well you are but IF YOU LOOK AT IT A DIFFERENT WAY-“ LIKE BESTIE WTF
BUT GLINDA JUST STRAIGHT UP TOLD HER SHE WAS PRETTY AFTER LITERALLY GIVING HER A HAIRCLIP. THATS IT. omfg fiyero we love you man but REALLY??? REALLY?

One thing I absolutely love about Bradley and Smart Aleck is how whenever she rides his thigh, he bounces her a little, and that just makes her lose it 🫠
Like, I can see Smart Aleck sitting on his lap while in front of his friends, and him just randomly bouncing his lap and she has to take a moment before saying or doing anything. She would be a mess by the end of the night.
Also, in your Christmas party fic, Bradley mentioned using the Theragun as a vibrator. Imagine him bringing it out and just surprising Smart Aleck with it (I've never used a Theragun, I have only seen it online so I'm not sure if this is completely correct)
this took me a minute to reply to because i wanted to actually write something for you! i was actually in a meeting at work when i first saw the message preview on my lock screen and i stg i was blushinggg so hard 🤭 because my god what a delicious thought!
yes! he’d bounce her just a little, like just enough to get a reaction out of her and get a little whimper out of her. to your point i could picture them in the hard deck and it’s a big deal that she came out with them? more below!
but also the theragun would actually hurt which is something bradley would realize the second he turned his on to even the lowest setting haha. though i do think that he’d randomly be like ‘gun me’ and have her do his back/shoulders 🤭
—————-
“well, look who decided to grace us with her presence this fine evening.”
jake looked even more smarmy than usual as you and bradley approached the group of pilots and partners holding court at a corner table. at the comment, bradley’s hands tightened where they were on your shoulders. it was a bit of a crush in the bar tonight, but he had guided you over without issue.
you completely ignored jake’s comment and his follow up about slumming it that night and greeted everyone - bob, callie, and natasha, as well as sarah costigan, whom jake had presumably dragged along. sarah even tossed you a kind smile in return. granted, she was still annoying and slightly condescending, but she wasn’t that bad. at least she didn’t head off to the jukebox and queue up hall & oates’ rich girl like jake did.
you let bradley slide into the circular booth before you and then sat on the end. being mr protective, bradley normally wouldn’t like having you sit at the end of the booth, but he knew you liked the space and ease of a quick getaway with a lot of people.
and it wasn’t that you didn’t like going to the hard deck. you just didn’t like how crowded and loud it could get on fridays and saturdays, which was when bradley’s friends tended to go. normally, the group would get together at the beach or go for a hike or even to another bar or someone’s house to hang out - and you always tried to attend - but their old standby was the hard deck and those were the nights you typically skipped.
you had been there about an hour when everything took a different turn. everyone was chatting and the music wasn’t too loud yet, and you were in a good mood, which was probably helped by the fact that you were on your third cosmo and bradley his fourth beer.
but then mickey and his girlfriend, cielo, showed up, which meant there were even more people crammed into the already crowded circular booth. you got up to give both cielo and mickey a hug and then the two of them sat down on the other side of the booth. which in turn meant everyone scooted down further towards your side.
scratch that - your side was gone.
all that was left was a sliver of space for maybe one of your bare thighs to find itself plastered against the warm vinyl upholstery. bradley quickly noticed your distress and pulled you half onto his lap. he barely broke his stride, so focused was he on his conversation with bob and callie. or so you thought.
the way he had manhandled you onto his lap was done with little consideration to your pink dress - the same pink dress from your first date some eighteen months ago - and it bunched up between your ass and bradley’s jeans. you sucked in a breath.
oh.
you were still covered, still safe from any risk of indecent exposure, but oh it felt nice having your bare skin brush against bradley’s jeans. the jeans that were stretched across his big, strong, broad thighs. did he realize? did he know?
it was nice sitting on his lap; you were content, happy, warm. safe. it wasn’t something you’d ever done in front of other people before; normally, neither of you were this bold, but you weren’t yourself, it was too loud, too warm, too overwhelming in the hard deck. and bradley knew that. he knew you were fussy. he always knew when you needed to get out of your head.
a few minutes went by and you tuned into various conversations and groups, but you eventually focused back on your little group at the end of the booth with bradley, bob, and callie. they were talking about one of the the college football games on earlier because bob was a big sec fan. at one point, the boys got so animated and bradley got so into gesturing with his hands that you slipped a little in his lap. and then -
and then bradley bounced you.
oh.
he bounced you on his thigh and tightened his arms around you to keep a better hold on you.
“sorry, kid,” he muttered in your ear and then went back to his conversation, completely unaware of the whimper you let out.
oh.
that felt nice. that felt good.
you loved when he bounced you on his thighs.
you loved when he let you ride his thighs.
see bradley liked when you’d have to work hard to get yourself off. sometimes, he made it a punishment. it was torture - he wouldn’t touch you and you’d have to work for your orgasm. you’d get so frustrated.
and once you’d finally reach your peak and your cum would streak across his thigh, he’d sink his fingers - his big, strong fingers - inside your cunt and you’d ride them for another round until you’d get rewarded with his cock.
this time the whimper you let out was a little louder, but still for bradley’s ears only.
“you okay, kid?” he bounced you again.
this time your legs spread a little wider under the table and you shifted in his lap. you were getting flustered, warm. surely the sweat was building at the back of your neck, between your thighs -
“mmhmm, just slipped.” you took a huge sip of your cosmo, hoping to cool yourself down. god, this was so embarrassing. why were you getting like this? it was just a bounce. he hadn’t even meant to do it.
please don’t let him find out.
“yeah?” bradley bounced you again and your breath caught. “can’t have that - here.”
his thumbs dug into the tender flesh by your hips, anchoring you to him. you tried to shift, tried to squirm, but he wouldn’t budge.
“th-thanks.”
you took another sip of your cosmo. it was almost done, that had to be why you were reacting this way. three drinks normally made you tipsy, but not drunk, so it had to explain your flustered state and your heightened sense of arousal.
he knew. he had to know. he had to know how wet you were. how your pussy was clenching on nothing. how you wanted him to take you out of here and let you ride him in the car. maybe he’d finger you against the bronco like he did that night all those months ago?
bradley turned back to the group. “hey, why don’t you tell bob and callie about that project you’re kicking off at work?”
“oh. it’s not - it’s not really that exciting -”
“she’s lying,” bradley squeezed your hip, “come on, tell them about the projecting you’re presenting in london.”
callie gasped. “london? again? oh, i’m so jealous! how long are you going to be gone?”
“just a - a couple days. they’re scaling this project i did in the US for the EMEA market. just a - a presentation.”
somehow, when bob asked where you were staying and if you were doing anything fun while you were there, you managed to give an almost coherent answer. almost coherent.
but then you turned the tables back on the two of them and asked if they were excited for their trip to see callie’s parents in bryn mawr. you didn’t know much about the area baring the fact that mary once went out there to interview for a teaching position, but that wouldn’t have mattered anyway since you could barely focus on the last minute details for callie’s sister’s wedding because of bradley’s stupid hands.
the first time he did it, you didn’t think much of it. okay so he took a sip of his beer and fiddled with the glass before he put his hand on your thigh. it was cold, no big deal.
but then he did it again when callie mentioned the gorgeous bridesmaids’ dresses. and again when bob praised callie’s speech draft. and again when they mentioned the welcome party on thursday was scheduled around the eagles’ game.
it was cold and you could feel your nipples hardening and your breath coming in faster and god - could everyone tell? did they notice? you didn’t want them to notice, you just wanted bradley to notice.
feeling bold, you tried to trap his cold hands between your thighs, but when bradley yanked his hand away, you almost lost your balance. and what else was he supposed to do but bounce you and get you settled back on his lap. he growled a warning in your ear.
oh god. you wanted it louder, you wanted it just for you. you weren’t wearing a bra, could anyone tell? you hoped bradley could tell.
you hoped bradley bradley knew.
(you hoped daddy knew.)
the promise of what was to come was getting to be too much. you could have blamed it on the cosmos, the noise, the heat, the number of people, but it really was just one thing - bradley.
bob and callie were talking to natasha now, so it was just you and bradley at your end of the table.
“bubs?” you looked over your shoulder to meet bradley’s eyes and knew he was just as wrecked for you as you were him. “please?”
he cocked an eyebrow, looking entirely too smug. “aww sweetheart, why didn’t you just say you wanted to leave?” all the condescension did was make you want him more.
before you could respond, before you could try and say something clever, he cleared his throat and directed his next words to the entire table.
“‘think the kid and i are gonna head out.”
it only took a few moments to say your goodbyes - hugs from those who were easily able, waves to those who were not - and then you and bradley started meandering your way to the bar.
once again, after he paid your tab, bradley guided you out of the bar with a his hands on your shoulders and a broad presence at your back. you whimpered at the thought of him inside you, your big, broad, beautiful boyfriend inside you, telling you that you were a good girl for him. such a good slut for him. for daddy.
it had been a couple months since you’d first said it - said daddy - but it still made your pussy clench and your heart beat wildly.
the moment you were out in the cool parking lot, you sighed back against his chest. the pulsating music that once felt too loud was not a calming presence away from the chaos.
“atta girl, you did such a good job with my teasing.” his arms wrapped around your waist and pulled you close so you could feel how much he wanted you. “you ready for your reward?”
“yes, daddy.”
———————
half an hour later, on their way way out, bob, callie, and natasha didn’t even notice that bradley’s car was still in the parking lot even after the two of you supposedly left.
they also didn’t notice that the windows were fogged up. or that one of your sandals was on the ground by the driver’s seat door. 🤭

hola! I really like your writing! Súper skibidi, i was wondering if you could make a shadow x female mobian!reader where the reader was forced into war for 2 and a half years but finally shows up to shadow’s house where he lived along side omega and rouge and now the reader is stoic,mature,a bit more apathetic and on guard, this part is a bit unneeded but she would wear a black/brow winter trapper hat,a comfy black/light brown eyepatch covering one dead eye that got that way from war, black solider boots, and a general army outfit but with more armor better suited for snowy,winter areas and also it’s black too *AGAIN* this is needed at all but it would be nice…..(´∀`) (Also shadow and reader were dating before reader was sent to war)
“Home at Last”
Pairing: Shadow the Hedgehog x Female Mobian Veteran Reader
Requested: Yes (by an anon).
Description: You had been gone for a long time. A lot of people presumed you were dead. But he never did. He always held on that somehow, you were alive. He’s glad he never lost hope.
Notes: Ooh, this one could be an equal amount angsty and happy, so I hope I do this well! Enjoy! And sorry for not posting in a few days!
(Reader will use She/Her pronouns.)
(Not proof-read/beta-read.)
– – – – – – – – – – – –
He hadn’t seen you in ages.
Two years, six months, three days, three hours, fifty-six minutes, and forty seconds to be exact.
…Not that he was keeping count.
Oh, who was he kidding.
He missed you to bits.
Little did he know, though…
That you were on your way home.
Of course, you were nervous.
You had sustained a few bad injuries from the war, and you had changed drastically.
Your left eye was straight-up gone, you were more jumpy, you walked with a limp, and you still looked like you were in a war.
Your clothes were horrendous, but you wanted to see them.
Your best friend, Rouge the Bat, and most importantly, your boyfriend, Shadow the Hedgehog.
He had practically begged you not to go, but you had no choice. You had been drafted.
Raising your hand, you knock on the door three times before stepping back one step.
Someone opens the door and immediately gasps seeing you, covering her mouth as you wave awkwardly.
It was her; Rouge the Bat. Shadow wasn’t anywhere in the house from where you could see.
“[NAME]!” Rouge yells happily, hugging you tightly, causing you to flinch, but you return the hug, hearing her start to sniffle, getting your army clothing wet, but you couldn’t care less.
You were hugging your best friend for the first time in years.
“Hey, Rouge…It’s been a long time, huh?” you ask, holding back your own tears.
“WAY too long! What happened to you?!” she asks, pulling away enough from the hug to look at you. You notice her makeup has been smudged, but you don’t say anything about it. You’re just happy to see her.
“Long story,” you tell her. “Where are Shadow and Omega?”
“Shadow’s out babysitting Cream, and Omega’s in the living room,” Rouge states.
“GOOD TO SEE YOU AGAIN, [NAME],” Omega says, waving at you.
“Good to see you too, big guy,” you tell him.
“Oh! Where are my manners, come on in, hun!” Rouge says, leading you inside.
Once in, things really haven’t changed that much since you left. Even the old picture of you and Team Dark before you were drafted is in its same spot, untouched.
You were so much happier back then…
…
Would Shadow still love you for the way you were now?
You really hoped he would…
You suddenly jump, looking around panicked as popcorn starts popping in the microwave.
“Omega! Turn that off! You’re frightening her!” Rouge says.
Omega turns off the microwave.
“SORRY,” Omega says.
“Are you alright, hun?” Rouge asks you.
Your breath is heavy, and your pupils are dilated, but you take a deep breath, exhaling.
“Yeah,” you start. “I’m okay.”
The doorknob starts moving and Rouge quickly ushers you behind the couch.
You hear the door click closed.
“Hey hun! How did it go?” Rouge asks.
“As it usually does,” Shadow says. “Cream’s been fine.”
“Good to hear,” Rouge states. “Anyway, I have a surprise for you!~”
She pulls you out from behind the couch, and Shadow’s eyes immediately widen. His ears lower and he approaches you, holding your cheek in his hand.
“[Name]? Is it really you?” he asks, his voice trembling slightly.
Giving him a smile, something you haven’t done in a while, you nuzzle your cheek into his hand.
“Yeah,” you start. “It’s me. I’m finally back.”
He cups your other cheek with his other hand, his thumb lightly grazing over your eyepatch.
“I’m sorry I wasn’t there,” Shadow mutters.
“It’s not your fault, Shadow. You were needed here,” you tell him. “Besides, I’m fine. I’m here now, aren’t I?”
“But you were hurt,” he mutters. “You were hurt, and I couldn’t protect you.”
You kiss him on the nose before resting your forehead against his.
“I’m just glad to be home, Shadow,” you murmur. “I’m just glad I get to see you again.”
“You’re not leaving my arms again. Not if I can help it,” Shadow mutters.
You let out a chuckle.
“I wouldn’t have it any other way,” you tell him. “I love you, my moonlight.”
“I love you too, sunshine,” Shadow says with a small smile. “It’s good to have you home.”

Dates with Nam-Gyu
a drabble about what dates w/ Nam-Gyu would be like
Warnings: weed / smoking weed mentioned otherwise sfw
A/N: I literally can’t get this man out of my head yall…it’s BAYYDDDDD. Im sorry to those of yall who are wanting the next part of the smut fic I promise im still hard at work on the 3rd/last part of Third Times a Charm but just took a lil break to just rant about my love <3
Dates with Nam-Gyu are spur of the moment. Coming out of no where but are always an adventure. As sporadic as they seem, they’re always strangely thought out.
It’s like he knows you inside out. Like you’re a book he’s read front to back more times than he can count. You’re sure he knows things about you that you’ve long since forgotten about. That one drink you loved from that one pop up six months ago? Yeah you couldn’t even remember the name of it now but he somehow knows the ingredients and gathers them to make it again for you at home randomly.
The dates come out of nowhere and are surprisingly almost always his idea.
You guys are walking home from picking up his work check and see a new aquarium open? He’s immediately pulling you across the street by the wrist, taking you the entire wrong way from where you need to be to go home to pull you into the aquarium and navigate it strategically to find your favorite sea creature.
You mention a new flower shop that opened in town your friend told you about while you guys are pulling up to the plugs house to get some weed? He’s skipping the road you turn down to get home to drive to the shop, pull into shops parking lot and take you inside so you can pick out whatever flowers you want.
You look a little too long at the beach while your guys are walking home from dinner in the middle of the night? He’s throwing you over his shoulder and running down the wooden steps to the beach. The smile on his face widening as you giggle and pound your fists on his back. When you get put down you quickly kick off your shoes to sink your feet into the sand- you’re immediately pushing at his chest with a yell of ‘you’re it!’ before sprinting off down the beach. He darts after you with a loud laugh. You think you guys were on that beach for three hours before you went home.
You look a little too bored by the TV show you guys are watching on a rainy night? He’s pulling you up off the couch with a laugh and tugging you out the apartment door into the raining outdoors to splash in the puddles and twirl you around in the rain. He also makes sure to snap pictures of you as you dance around the empty streets, loving the candid pictures he gets of you the most.
He really does adore you. Looks at you like you hung the moon!! He has a note in his phone about everything about you. Anything you like, all your favorites, your birthday- including the time you were born, all special dates involving your relationship- he’s devoted.
As for planned dates- they’re always on dates that mean something in your relationship. And they are ALWAYS perfect. He honestly tries so hard that he overdoes himself sometimes, getting anxious that you won’t like it and spilling the surprise days before it happens because he’s worried he did something wrong and you wouldn’t like it- you never hate it though. It’s always more than you could have asked for.
6 month anniversary? He takes you out of town to a place that he saw you like multiple times on instagram. A cute air bnb out in the woods with a private infinity pool that over looked the mountains. He even got there a day earlier to set up flowers on the dining table surrounded by various gifts he got you, including a stuffed animal he saw you pick up multiple times at the mall weeks ago and never bought because you talked yourself out of it.
Anniversary of the first time you guys hung out and smoked together? He sets up the house before you come back from errands, TV set on the old show you guys watched then, he somehow found the old ass rolling tray you used years ago and set it up on the table with the same snacks you guys ate that day and the weed he bought just for this occasion. You genuinely didn’t even know what the occasion was until he told you- and it damn near had you sobbing at how cute he was.
1 year anniversary? Fuck he’s going all out. He’s planning a trip that lasts a week that starts the day far y’all’s anniversary. The day of, he’s taking you shopping telling you to pick out a new outfit for dinner- dress, shoes, jewelry, makeup everything. He’s buying it for you. Even stupid little plushies you find cute along the way, he’s telling you to pick it up so he can get it for you. He takes you to a fancy restaurant you talked about wanting to try, full course five star meal. He gifts you a necklace at dinner, one that you have been talking about- one you never asked him to buy because it’s so expensive, even going the extra mile to get a small ‘N’ engraved on the back. When you go on the trip the next day you find you’re flying first class- he really loves spoiling you.

movies i’d pair with the blue lock guys
how to lose a guy in 10 days - oliver
i just think how to lose a guy in 10 days fits oliver so much. i can imagine him making a bet with his friends about how he can get any woman he wants to fall in love with him. he meets you, and coincidentally, you’ve made the same bet with your friends. the difference? you need to drive him away in 10 days.
he’s kind and charming, planning dates he knows you’ll love. you, on the other hand, show up to his practice with a cute lunchbox covered in cartoon characters and a smoothie in a hello kitty bottle. as if that isn’t enough, you yell, “go for it, sugar booger!” every time he needs to concentrate, throwing him off completely and causing him to make mistake after mistake.
you take things further, showing up while he’s out with his friends, carrying an album of “your future kids together,” complete with photoshopped pictures of your faces. when he gets home from that hangout, he finds his house decorated with flowers, pictures of you, and stuffed animals, along with a note on the table: “take care of them as if they were our babies. i’m going to check on them! — your honey bunny :)”
he’s already at his wit’s end with your antics. but then comes the moment. you know the one—when ben saw andie in that yellow dress and placed his hand on his heart? that’s him when he sees you wearing that exact dress, standing as his plus-one at the gala he was invited to.
you find out about his bet first, and you’re furious—even though you were doing the same thing. when he finds out about yours, he’s just as angry. but after the heat of the argument dies down, neither of you can deny the truth: somewhere along the way, it stopped being about winning and became about each other.
and maybe, just maybe, neither of you want the game to end.
13 going on 30 - rin
i always imagined that the person rin would end up with would be someone he knew as a kid. with this one, there’s a little twist—besides the whole waking up in the body of a 30-year-old. rin is the one who finds himself successful, with the football career he always wanted, finally stepping out of his brother’s shadow. he had everything he ever worked for, so why did it still feel like something was missing?
one night, while scrolling on his phone, he came across a post from a mutual friend. they mentioned that you were in the same city as him, and without thinking, he tracked you down, looking for some kind of closure.
when he saw you again, he couldn’t believe his eyes—how much you’d changed, how much you’d grown, and yet, how you were still just as beautiful as he remembered. you, on the other hand, didn’t recognize him at first. it had been years since you’d last seen each other, and while you weren’t holding a grudge against him for leaving, you hadn’t forgotten that he chose his dream over you. and the years that followed? he never checked in, never reached out—not even once. so when he showed up, you weren’t exactly keen on welcoming him back into your life.
still, something in his eyes made you pause. despite the hurt, you decided to hear him out, agreeing to spend the afternoon catching up. the two of you wandered the city, sharing recommendations and reliving bits of the past. you even ended up at a sports bar, where they were replaying a match rin had played in just a week ago.
“you’re a star now. why are you hanging out with someone like me after all these years?” you teased, a light smile on your face. but the words hit rin differently, pulling him deeper into thoughts he wasn’t ready to face.
by the end of the day, he finally found out why you were in the city—the reason you were here in the first place. your engagement.
the word hung in the air, cutting through the quiet between you. you said it casually, like it wasn’t earth-shattering, like it didn’t crack something deep inside him. you smiled as you mentioned your fiancé, your plans for the future, and rin felt something cold settle into his chest.
he didn’t know why it hurt this much. after all, he was the one who left. he was the one who chose football, who walked away from everything that could’ve been. but standing there, looking at you and the happiness in your eyes, it hit him—he hadn’t just left you behind. he’d left behind a part of himself.
and now it was too late.
the proposal - sae
honestly, while writing rin’s part, i couldn’t help but feel how well it would fit sae too. but i had another idea in mind, something a little more fun, and somehow, the theme of the proposal came into play. imagine this: you’re the intern to his manager, always being looked down on by him, ridiculed for your “stupid” wardrobe, and treated like you’re invisible.
things take a wild turn when, through a series of unfortunate events, sae almost finds himself getting deported back to japan. the reason? his visa wasn’t sorted out in time, and his team just couldn’t get everything in order. in a desperate attempt to solve the issue, his manager hatches a plan—you two are engaged and about to be married.
you hated the idea. absolutely disgusted by it. and sae? well, he couldn’t care less, as long as it got him out of the mess. before long, he found himself sitting at your family’s table in the middle of nowhere, in a tiny village with almost no phone signal. the plan was simple—tell your family the engagement is real and keep up the charade for a while.
before that though, there was the immigration officer incident. sae, in his usual overconfident way, tried bribing the officer to smooth things over, but instead almost landed himself in jail. somehow, that’s how he ended up stuck at your family’s house, with no way out of this ridiculous engagement ruse.
things started to go awry right away. sleeping on the floor, waking up at the crack of dawn because of him, and having to endure his morning yoga routine like it was some kind of ritual. you really couldn’t imagine how anyone could fall for someone like him.
but your family? they were determined to make the best of the situation. they dragged him to the bar, took him fishing, and tried to include him in everything else. sae grumbled through it all, but he didn’t hold back on his frustration. he even ended up reluctantly playing football with them, but everything else? no chance. he hated it. the awkward family dinners, the endless chatter, the ridiculous games—he was done with it all.
and then there was your ex-boyfriend. perfect in every way, smiling at things like tree branches, wearing ridiculous clothes, and seemingly so happy in ways sae could never understand. he watched you together, his mind racing with thoughts he couldn’t explain.
the whole situation was supposed to be temporary. sae just had to play along, pretend to be the future husband, and somehow make it through without drawing attention to how forced everything was. but somewhere between the early mornings, the family outings, and the odd moments of silence, something started to change.
by the time everything was sorted and sae was on his way back, you weren’t sure what to make of it all.
the door closed behind him, but somehow, you knew things weren’t as simple as they seemed. something had shifted, and you couldn’t tell if it was just the act or something more.
ೃ༄ i wanted to leave the endings open, to give room for interpretation. what do you guys think? :)
ೃ༄ i’m going to do a part 2 with different characters, but this time the movies won’t be rom-coms !

“Pads,” said a tiny voice coming from the bedside drawer. Sirius startled, but then slowly relaxed back into the pillows when he remembered the two-way mirror.
“Please, Pads, it’s been days. You didn’t sit with us on the train, which I understand, but then you disappeared so quickly from the platform. You never said goodbye, and I don’t even know where you are. You mentioned your uncle’s old house but I have no idea if we’re on opposite ends of the country right now. My parents are asking a hundred questions and I have no answers for them.”
Sirius turned out the lamp. He could feel his eyes stinging as he lay there in darkness.
“Are you and Regulus doing well? I hate to think of you having to cook for yourselves. Please don’t die from food poisoning,” said James.
Despite the circumstances, Sirius had to fight off a smile.
There was a long pause, and Sirius thought James had given up, before the other boy pleaded, “You don’t have to keep punishing yourself.”
Sirius felt the tears fall. It wasn’t true. He did have to keep it up because if he didn’t, he’d do something horrible again, for it was in his blood. He was fighting his very nature every day. And he’d do it gladly if it meant he didn’t hurt anyone else he cared for.
“I hope you get some sleep tonight,” James sighed after a while, seeming to accept that he wasn’t going to get a response. “Take care of yourself, Padfoot.”
Sirius wiped his eyes as he tried not to make any noise while crying. Not being able to use magic in the summers meant that he had to be careful that his brother couldn’t hear him down the hall.
Nobody should care if Sirius took care of himself or not. He didn’t understand why James still checked in. For a while after that horrible night at the Shrieking Shack, none of his friends could even look at him, including James. But some time after what must’ve been his twentieth apology, James took pity and started talking to him again. That’s what it was, though. Pity. Because even while James would talk to him in the dorm and the Great Hall, he’d still chosen to sit with Remus in classes. As he should have. Thankfully, they hadn’t had much of the year left and they’d all had O.W.L.s to focus on.
He didn’t sleep much that night.
~~~
Snippet from a jegulus and wolfstar fic I’ll probably never finish, because I’ve been stuck for months and I have no one to talk about it with, which means I’ve unfortunately lost steam. In this au there’s no Voldemort but the prank still happens and Sirius and Regulus run away to Alphard’s house in Brighton. I may have fallen in love with that seaside town while on holiday there
Find Me Part One
Pairing: Daryl x reader
Rating: So far fluff
Warnings: Angst, fluff
Aaron returned to Alexandria along with Kelly and Jerry. Anxious to see your now husband again, you came out from the house you shared together. But there was several people missing—Carol, Connie, Magna, and Daryl. Aaron could see your face scrunched up for miles it seemed like, your brain running a hundred miles a minute. It was trying to rationalize why your husband hadn’t returned. It was surreal to call him your husband. You both hadn’t been married a long time—just a few weeks. Gabriel had officiated a small ceremony for you both at the church in Alexandria, the whole thing being intimate. Just you and Daryl.
“Aaron.”, you immediately began, heading towards him.
“Y/N, wait—I can explain—.”
“Where the hell is my husband?”
Daryl had found an old wedding band, just his size. It was important to you that you both wore rings as a symbol of your love for one another. That’s why Daryl did it. He did it for you. Had he gotten married before the apocalypse (which he wouldn’t have), he wouldn’t have worn one at all. If something happened to Daryl, at least someone knew he was married and belonged to someone. Someone would be missing him.
Aaron sighed. “Y/N, hear me out—”
“Aaron, where the hell is he?!”, you repeated, gritting your teeth.
“Y/N.”, Aaron responded calmly.
“Is he dead?”, you repeated, softer this time as your voice was beginning to break.
“No.”, Aaron responded, quickly. “He’s not dead.”
The look on your face told Aaron you wanted more answers. The kids began coming outside, including Gracie, Judith, and RJ.
“He’s out searching for another way into a cave. We were led into a cave by Alpha. She tried to kill us—Connie and Magna are still stuck. The cave—Carol was—I don’t know—all I know is she accidentally set off some dynamite and the cave collapsed just as we got out.”
“So my husband is out there searching for another way into this cave? Again, cleaning up someone else’s mess?”
Aaron sighed as Gracie ran over to him, calling for her daddy. “I’m sorry Y/N.”
You knew that Daryl and Carol’s friendship was taking a turn for the worst. Daryl was tired of talking some sense into her. There had been no reasoning or rationalizing with her. Things had became difficult for her and Ezekiel since Henry was killed. Their marriage was clearly strained, them seeming to avoid one another. One stayed in Alexandria and the other at the Hilltop. All Carol was focused on was getting revenge, killing Alpha.
Aaron gave you a sympathetic look as he walked off with Gracie. You were trying to give him some grace. You had a feeling who was at fault here and it wasn’t Aaron.
“Where’s Uncle Daryl?”, Judith questioned, coming up beside you.
“Trying to help some of our friends, Jude.”
Judith pursed her lips, clearly not pleased with the answer. “Why don’t you go look for him? I can go too.”
Michonne was on a trip to take someone who had invaded Oceanside back to their home. She said she would keep in contact with Judith, but it had been days since you all had heard anything. Michonne made you and Daryl promise that you both would look after Judith and RJ, keeping them safe no matter what.
“No.”, you said firmly.
“Why not?”, she whined, just like a normal child. “I’m a good shot and I need more practice.”
It almost caused you to smile.
“No Judith—I told your mom I would keep you safe and that’s what I’m going to do.”
Judith frowned, beginning to storm away. She was having a normal childhood temper tantrum, something you never knew you would miss until now. It made life seem somewhat normal. She had Michonne’s determination even if she wasn’t biologically hers. Once she had an idea in her head, she was going to do it come hell or high water, something she got from Rick. You began to follow after Judith, bending down to pick up RJ.
“Judith.”, you called after her, but she ignored you.
“Judith!”, you repeated.
She still ignored you, walking into their home. She stormed up the stairs, slamming her bedroom door shut. You sighed, holding RJ. Life was simpler when Judith was younger. You closed the door, smiling softly at RJ.
“At least you still like me.”
“Yes, I love you.”, RJ smiled before you kissed his head, going into the kitchen to make them something for lunch. You were also going to try and get your mind off what your husband might be getting himself into.
______________________________________________________________
As RJ was finishing up lunch, Judith’s plate was left full. She was still visibly upset with you but you had good reason. She just didn’t know it yet.
Suddenly, you heard footsteps racing down the stairs. You perked up, hoping they were Judith’s. Of course they were hers, silly. Who else’s would they have been? But this world had taught you to always keep one eye open. You could never be too sure.
“Is this why we can’t go?”, Judith held up the white stick.
The white stick you had apparently left in the bathroom on the sink. Dammit.
“Where did you find that?”
“You left it on the sink.”, she crossed her arms. “Not a very good hiding place.”
You sighed.
“And I know this isn’t mom’s.”
You nodded in agreement, trying to think of what to say next. “No, it’s not.”
“You’re pregnant.”, Judith stated matter-of-factly.
“You know what that means, huh?”
Judith came over to sit down at the table, laying your very positive pregnancy test on the table in front of you. “Does Uncle Daryl know?”
“Not yet.”, you sighed. “I wanted to tell him when he got home today but he didn’t come home yet.”
A knock came to the door, interrupting your conversation with Judith. You got up from the table, heading towards the door. Slowly opening it, you found Aaron standing at the door.
“Hey.”
“Hey Aaron.”
“Look, I’m sorry about Daryl. If you want, we can both head out and look for him together.”
“She can’t.”, Judith chimed in from behind you, causing you to look back at her and give her the ‘hush’ look.
As you turned back around, Aaron wore a confused expression on his face.
“She’s pregnant.”
“Judith!”, you looked back at her.
“You’re pregnant?”, Aaron asked. “Does Daryl know?”
You sighed, closing your eyes. “No. I was going to tell him when he got back today.”
Aaron sighed, closing his eyes and rubbing his face. “I’ll go find him.”
“I want to go too.”, Judith stated.
TO BE CONTINUED....
This is a very interesting AU, I haven’t developed it much, but I really like it. Basically, the premise is: what would happen if 30-year-old Stan, on his way to Oregon, unexpectedly died along the road?
It’s hard to explain the inspiration, but I refer to this AU as "American Liaozhai." Liaozhai is an ancient Chinese book, and since it was written by a poor scholar, many of its stories are about scholars or monks accidentally encountering beautiful female demons. These demons fall in love at first sight and try to tempt the scholars to sleep with them. Faced with this test of desire and reason, they must resist temptation, or failing to do so means their downfall. Most of the stories are borderline adult content.
I think it’s fascinating. Imagine if Stan died at 30 due to an accident and never made it to meet Ford. Ford would be left alone in that house, slowly going mad, accidentally falling into the portal. But this time, no one would be there to bring him back. Thirty years later, maybe Ford would return to Earth through his own efforts, but when he gets back, he would step out of a desolate, decaying cabin, with no one waiting for him, and no one living there—not to mention the kids. By then, Ford would have regained his sanity. He would try to figure out why Stan never showed up and realize that Stan might have died in an accident.
In this version of Ford, he becomes like a ghost hunter, exploring various monster legends around Oregon and nearby areas. People start to see him as a hero who helps others, but in reality, he’s just trying to find his brother.
When he finally finds Stan, Stan has turned into a monster, wandering along a highway and scaring many people. Ford takes him back to the cabin, hoping to find a way to save him. As Ford tries to clean Stan, he checks all the wounds on Stan’s body, realizing what Stan must have gone through all those years, aimlessly wandering the road. At first, Stan tries to attack him, but as Ford cleans him, Stan starts to unconsciously respond to and seek Ford's touch.
Stan doesn’t seem to recognize him as either a familiar person or an enemy. Everything Stan does is purely instinctual, and to Stan, Ford means nothing.
After the cleaning is done, Ford tries to take Stan’s jacket, but this causes Stan to react violently. During the struggle, a piece of paper falls from the jacket pocket. Ford lets go to grab the paper, and Stan immediately retrieves his jacket, not caring about Ford’s actions.
It’s a folded postcard, and on the back, Ford’s handwriting is almost illegible. Stan looks at Ford blankly, not remembering what he was protecting anymore.
my curse is that i keep falling in love with peacock shows that a) people forgot they have a subscription to, or b) keep getting cancelled- but if you DO have peacock and you want 20+ recs hit a stitchy up, yooooo
NUMBER ONE please watch The Resort. It’s about love and grief and going on a magical realism vacation in the mayan riviera and playing detective on some missing teen’s old ass pre smartphone cell phone 🤳🏼🌴
(definitely serves as a stand alone miniseries, but i’d love more)
Look at this cast and tell me you’re not like “ohh.” THE RESORT. NOW.
2!!!! WE ARE LADY PARTS
a comedy about a British punk rock band named Lady Parts, which consists entirely of Muslim women. One of whom is obsessed with Don McLean, which speaks di-fucking-rectly to teenage stitchy
threeeeee is BRILLIANT MINDS, the medical drama show i would make if you held me hostage. I would say “there are too many doctor shows already!!!” And youd’d say, “make one anyway!!! I have a weapon!!” But this doctor show is Special. It’s based on the work and character of neurologist Oliver Sacks, who i’ve been fascinated by since doing the opera adaption of The Man Who Mistook His Wife For A Hat in college (brag). It’s kinda like if House had old school Quantum Leap levels of empathy and 🏳️🌈
gif by @pedro-reed THIS SHOW IS LIKE A HUG. Did i MENTION mandy patinkin cameo that rocked my world??? Btw???!
shuttup i fucking loved the treasure of foggy mountain. Its number 4. i said what i said
FIVE! Speaking of films on peacock, you know Conclave is on there right? RIGHT?! It’s the Mean Girls of pope movies. It’s everything to me, a cradle catholic who thinks canon Jesus was pretty lit, its the fandom I can’t gel with. And Ralph Fiennes has to care for his dead boss’s army of turtles need i say more
Okay back to tv series… MR MERCEDES! It’s stephen king doing some hardboiled detective shit that only baaaarely steps out of reality. Like. One toe. One and a half. Shout out to all my Brendan Gleeson fuckers, i know you’re out there.
Everyone else… You might not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like.
are we on 7? We’re on 7. It’s MRS DAVIS. Betty Gilpin is a nun raised by shady Las Vegas magicians who is Hot For Jesus and on a mission to destroy Artificial Intelligence and her mommy issues. My flabbers were gasted by this perfection.
(Complete narrative btw!)
EIGHT. Do you love Stephanie Hsu??? Do you enjoy Nahnatchka Khan’s other work? Check out LAID. A sex comedy that is very preposterous and if we do not get a s2 I will be haunted forever. my Number 1 nepo baby Zosia Mamet is also here and she is not playing around
NINE is a total left field premise. Claudia O’Doherty and Craig Robinson go into business hunting exotic pythons for cash. This might be the peak hustle culture show about a Tenuous Job. I have never touched a snake in my life and i’m gripping my guts from laughing like “so tru bestie!!”
TEN is a P.S.A. Friends, i need you to know Peacock has some golden oldies. Is Little House On The Prairie your show when you’re sick on the couch? Did you dad raise you on old Quantum Leap? Have you been meaning to meet my best friend Mr. Detective Columbo!? They are HERE!
awoooo!! 11 is WOLF LIKE ME. Josh Gad is an american dad living in australia for some illusive reason… idk… anyway his daughter has a serious anxiety disorder he is carefully managing, and uhhhhh guess what his new girlfriend Isla Fisher is a werewolf. LET GIRLS BE MONSTERS.
Uhm i think I’m gonna have to stop here and re blog to add more. Too many images! 😅
I'm not great at these introduction posts, and this one feels extra strange because it's a bit late coming. Still, I've been remiss, and I felt like it was important to have this somewhere, so here we are!
Hullo!
I'm Lola, I live in the UK, and I'm a writer. I love books, films, music, art, food, and flowers, and if I could disappear into the woods to live like a little cottage witch or a hobbit, I would absolutely do that.
I enjoy simple things. I have my own garden for the first time in my life, and I'm slowly learning how to look after that, moving things about, pruning, and growing veggies from seed. The word of Monty Don is law, and I watch Gardener's World quite religiously.
I have a lot of houseplants, which I'm more knowledgeable about, but only because it was the closest I could get to a garden for many years. I was renting for a long time, so I moved practically every other year, and my houseplants have accumulated to become something like an indoor jungle.
I also like to cook - and to eat! I'm a home cook, I was taught largely by my grandma and by watching various cooking shows over the years. I love how food brings people together, how it varies culturally, and I have a talent for tasting a dish and being able to replicate flavours without a recipe, which is neat.
I do a bit of crafting, though not as much as I used to. I make candles, soap, wax melts and such. I also knit and sew, but only very basically, and I'd like to get better at both, but I never seem to make any time for it. I'm not a particularly organised person, except by necessity, and this often shows itself in such areas.
I love nature and being outside. I walk a lot, usually with my dog, Wilfred, and we visit rivers, forests, beaches, and the occasional marsh together at weekends. There's nothing like fresh air and a good walk to clear your head a bit, I think. That said, I don't like being cold much, and wet socks horrify me on a very primal level, and if it was up to me I wouldn't ever leave the house when it's raining.
I love the sun. You will never hear me complain about it being too hot, I guarantee it. I wait for summertime all year long, and it's fairly short here in England, so I spend as much of the season outside as I can, basking like a lizard.
I'm in my late thirties and coming up fast on middle-age, and I noticed my first grey hairs about a year ago - just a few bright, silvery strands at my temples and around my ears. I feel like I've mentally been a fifty year old since I was ten, so ageing doesn't concern me too much. Also I feel like I won some kind of battle by getting to this point? Sometimes I think about the lonely teenager I was, convinced I wouldn't see twenty-five, and wish I could find a way back to her to tell her she's going to be okay.
I'm short and fat, my nose is a little crooked, my eyes are blue, and my hands are oddly small. I dress like an elderly librarian, and I know I'm winning at the female-gaze when other women compliment my tweed skirts and flowery dresses. I have a vast collection of cardigans.
I'm autistic, I'm queer, and I'm partially deaf. I ought to wear a hearing aid, but honestly? I've heard enough.
Yes, I do think I'm funny.
I love art, classic or new, and I seem to have somehow assimilated a working knowledge of Impressionism. I blame my mother for this.
I once went to the Tate for a school trip and sat in front of a painting by Monet for two hours without moving, and got into trouble for not sticking with the group. I'm obsessed with the idea that Degas was Jack The Ripper, and I wish more people knew about Berthe Morisot.
Books. Stories. Fiction. My true love, and the very core of who I am. I read The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien when I was about eleven years old, and fell head over heels with the fantasy genre. Later that same year, I read Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, and little did I know, became heavily invested in slow-burn romance. Then, I read Little Women by Louisa May Alcott, and I knew I wanted to write, just as Jo March did.
I've been scribbling away ever since, trying always to improve, to find my voice and craft interesting stories. I've written a huge amount of fanfiction over the years, and even though much of it has been lost to time and various platforms, I learned a lot from those stories. I did publish two books about a decade ago, under a pen name and with a small press, but I had a pretty bad experience with it, and I stopped writing for a long while afterwards.
It was fanfiction that brought back my love for writing again, and I've been dabbling off and on with some original work for the past three years or so. People are weird about fanfiction, I find, but there's nothing like writing for the simple joy of it, with no expectations, to rekindle your love for the craft. It's only through the encouragement and kindness of the folk who were reading those works that I'm here today, trying again to write and publish my original stories.
Anyway, that's me in a nutshell! I probably waffled on a bit, but thank you for reading anyway!
