last week i thought he died. he was sleeping all curled up in his lil oivanest and didnt react to me rustling around or gently touching him, so i panicked and sent my friend a sad "OIVA IS DEAD" message

then i went to pick up his "dead body" and he uncurled and started clicking his teeth at me, all annoyed.

he was just having a real good nap. fucking old man making me go through all the stages of grief in 2 minutes.

#i was bamboozled #he is 2yrs and almost 8months so hes oldman hamster #i think his hearing is getting pretty bad #and hes most definitely blind #his lost a lot of flexibility so he cant clean his back fur very well so i try to brush him with a soft toothbrush to help him out a bit #but hes SUPER skrunkly #he sleeps a lot but he does ask for a daily freeroam time during which he runs around my room and begs for little treats...#his current favorite treat is beetroot -b #ramblings #hamster
