Been cleaning up and rearranging stuff a lot lately in preparation for moving, and I'm getting a bit emotional about my first TF figure/toy...

I've had this Jazz for like, 10+ years, and I used to take this guy everywhere. He's so scuffed from being dragged across driveways and playgrounds, and he sits and stands a bit wonky because the plastic cracked along one arm, and both his legs tend to pop off, and he doesn't really transform well anymore because of that. I forgot him in a drawer some years back, but nowadays he gets to sit front and center atop my bookcase ;-;

listen i like robert whumping chris as much as the next guy but i don't like when people treat it as evil villain robert enacting torture on a hapless victim chris that's not their relationship.........the push and pull is vital to their dynamic.......robert pushes too far sometimes yes but chris usually is able to push back in some capacity and even get some jabs back in sometimes that's what makes their dynamic so compelling.........chris is also an Asshole they're two Assholes in love and the Beef is how they express that

The way Astral develops emotions through the show is one of my favourite aspects of Zexal (if not my favourite, because I love him). At first, he didn't know what emotions were. He observed them without even considering that he might feel something like that. Yet, the more he experienced on Earth, the more he changed, slowly, but he changed: he learned to smile, to fear, to cry and to hope, all the types of emotions he felt have combine into his essence, without completely changing it.

Because Astral never becomes particularly open with his emotions, his personality remains calm and collected, like at the start of the show, yet developing into something more than that as all the emotions he had collected had made him grown.

His growth is slow and sometimes subtle, but you can see how much he had changed just by looking at him: the way he moves, his tone of voice, his eyes (that are very expressive most of the time, it's like they could speak for themselves), little details that can bet missed, but are very dear to me.

He has been paralyzed by the fear, he has been happy to be considered a friend, he lost himself to the pain and anger, he cried for sadness and happiness, and he learned to love with all himself.

And he did all this in his own way. He made those emotions really his own.

I do think it's [hesitates to use the word 'cute'] interesting to thnk that Trev might've been like kind of a young uncle. For example I went to highschool w a pair of girls tht were niece and aunt but were only like. Three years apart in age. I don't think Redd and him are THAT close in age lmao but if Trev was like sixteen and forced to babysit i think that's great. For me. Not either of them
