People against piracy fail to realize that no, I can’t just ‘buy it.’ They stopped making DVDs and Blu-Rays. They’re barely offering digital copies for download. I am not spending money I could use for food or bills to pay for a subscription service just so I can always have access to a beloved piece of media. Especially not when the service will remove media on a whim without concern for how the loss of access to that piece will make its artistic conservation nigh impossible.

For example, I recently learned that Disney+ had an original film called Crater. It’s scifi, family friendly, and seems cool - I would love to buy it as a holiday gift for my little brother! But: it’s exclusive to D+ and THEY REMOVED IT LITERALLY MONTHS AFTER ITS RELEASE.

The ONLY way I can directly access this film is through piracy. The ONLY available ‘copies’ of this film are hosted on piracy websites. Disney will NEVER release it in theaters, or as something to buy, and it may NEVER return to the streaming service. It will be LOST because we aren’t allowed to purchase it for personal viewing. If I can’t pay to own it, I won’t pay for the privilege of losing it when corporate decides to put it in a vault.

So yes, I’m going to pirate and support piracy.

I just know Crocodile brought on Mihawk because he thought he would be sensible, calm and collected, low maintenance. He thought it was going to be them against the idiocy that is buggy. And it is to a degree.

What he failed to calculate is that Mihawk is just as bad as buggy.

Worse even because at least Buggy can be bullied into doing paperwork. I just know everyday Crocodile is astonished by the absolute commitment Mihawk has to his aesthetic. Walks into his tent just to find that he has somehow converted this circus ass tent into a mid century gothic castle. Somehow carpeted the whole thing end to end is burning more that a 100 candles for “mood lighting”, has a fully open fire pit and a sewing machine in the corner.

Like Crocodiles essentially a mafioso he can appreciate the wanting nice things. Still won’t prepare him for the day Mihawk’s brings him a wine budget, a tailoring budget and an embroidery budget all painstakingly itemized.

Won’t prepare him for having to replace every single wine glass because buggy drank out of one and he can’t break up a set but refuses to use a cup that buggy’s put his mouth on.

He’s starting to think that the real reason the Warlords were disbanded was because they simply could not afford to pay for Mihawk’s upkeep anymore and decided they’d rather pay in cadet lives than see one more wine budget.

He is essentially being held hostage, in his own guild, by the whims of a bored middle aged vampire, and a fucking clown.

It just occurred to me that none of the rest of Roger Pirates had seen Buggy in over 20 years.

I knew it, but I haven´t actually thought any further about it. But with that in mind, now I think that when Rayleigh asked this:

He was not only telling them that our favorite pirate clown was part of the Oro Jackson´s crew, but was asking if they could give him any information other than "he is a pirate". Maybe, he wanted to know how he was.

I think he misses Buggy. it would be undertandable ifhe hasn´t seen eachother for so long.

it seems like Rayleigh has been keeping tabs on him, but never actually reached to him, likely because he knows he didn´t wanted to be found, besides, if the world goverment learns that the Star Clown of the East Blue knows the Dark King, it would put Buggy on their radar, and he is not particulary strong, not like the others.

Rayleigh knows he is alive, and that seems to be enough for now.

I hope one day he learns that Buggy misses him too

(*Also, It is possible that it was Rayleigh who told Shanks Buggy was a pirate or it could have been the other way around, we have seen Shanks would gather information about rival pirates, he could as well do the same for long lost friends).

chip doesnt say "i love you" when he really means it because he constantly carries that soul deep fear that everyone he loves either Dies or Leaves Him, and saying it out loud makes it feel Too Real Too Scary Too Dangerous, so he shows it instead of saying it because its easier and it means more because hes putting effort in to bridge the gap instead of just giving up.

and then in episode 115 he says "i love you" to jay out loud.

he says "i love you" when he says goodbye.

he says "i love you" when he wishes her luck.

he says "i love you" when she leaves him headed for certain death

zoro and luffy got married a while back and never bothered to tell anyone. nami knows because she was there but hasnt told anyone because theyre both insufferable. usopp found out when he saw them makeout in a closet or something on the merry (he shut the door and ran to nami looking for answers). by the time they reach wano almost everyone on the crew knows that theyre married except sanji who found out after zoro and luffy kissed at the celebration party.
