I hc that just like melenor had a special lullaby for malleus, lilia has a special lullaby he sings just for silver that he still sings to him to this day whenever he isn't feeling well or just needs a pick me up. I also like to hc that it's a version of A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes, just because I find that really comforting and uplifting song that's all about believing someday there are bright dreamlike days ahead no matter the sorrows of the past

the thought of lilia having a special song that he shares with silver, one that he can start humming under his breath if silver isn't feeling well or is frustrated with how his sleepiness is affecting his coursework is so good aaaaa just these additional affirmations that the bond between them is so special and unique, that lilia doesn't just view him as some foundling he picked up and feels obligated to care for in spite of his family's history— his father loves him, thinks of him as his own, allows silver to see a side of him that so few, if any, are privy to over the years.

just the idea that silver is struggling with his exam reviews in the diasomnia common room, and the students blink in surprise to see the tension in his shoulders melt away as their vice housewarden drifts by and leans over his chair, humming an odd melody that none of them find familiar. odder still is the way that silver glances at vanrouge with a grateful, tiny smile, and the way that the third-year pats his cheek and allows the touch to linger there briefly, a silent encouragement and promise.

if silver gets through these next few study sheets, he can come nap in lilia's room, where his father will play his handheld games and hum quietly above his head, erasing the stress and frustrations of the day in a peaceful moment all their own.
