Young Arafinwë and his brother let the day come to a peaceful close outdoors for @morweneledhwen

Well, it's been a hot minute since I last drew Finarfin! And I don't think he ever left the WIP stage, so this is a first. What a shame! Thank god Morwen reminded me to give him some love again. Also, I've really grown to love Finarfin ever since I read Morwen's take on him. "All his sons" is basically canon to me at this point.

Thinking about these two spending a day or two out and about together really sparked my inspiration. Now that I think about it, I love imagining Nolofinwë as a closet adrenaline junkie. Climbing is such a mental game, of course Nolo would love it! And it just so happens to align perfectly with his brother's request to go searching for rare herbs and flowers.

The requested trope for this was transferring qi, so I imagined Arafinwë having the ability to channel light to some extent, using it to form a connection with another person for healing or relaxation like easing his brother's fatigue after an exhausting climb.

I was watching Bdubs’ storage room moving day stream yesterday and one of my favorite interactions with other hermits was him revealing to Doc that you can’t do anything with calcite. Like the amount of disbelief in Doc’s voice was amazing.

I also liked Etho’s suggestion that you should be able to make stairs and slabs (and vertical slabs! And essentially mini blocks!) of any full block in the base game, especially since that one April Fool’s update had it with the cheese block (where you clicked on it to cycle through the options) so we know that it is technically feasible.

I'm all for killing characters when the plot demands it. And like. They could have killed Desmond in a satisfying way if they had tried to. If they'd done more lead up to the ending, instead of how rushed it felt. If they'd like. Put in effort.

They didn't though.

So an easy way to make Desmond survive imo is for his dad to take his place.

1. He shares all of Desmond's notable ancestors except Altaïr.

2. He continually goes "no Desmond I'm not getting in the Animus :/ shut up and get back in" and having him decide, at the end, to take the fall himself would be. Idk mildly satisfying.

3. This would probably result in Mentor Desmond. I don't even think that's a good idea, but the game world would because of his "decades of experience condensed into a few weeks/months".

I mean yeah, that is the first thing I looked for when I came back from the movie yesterday, but still
