I just need to rant here for a second because OH MY GOD-

Stars Align is so fucking incredible. By the end, tears were streaming down my face and i just screeched, “What the actual fuck?!” Because this anime sent me through the five stages of grief within the span of one season. These boys need new parents and hugs, and fucking everything. I would give them my soul, okay, that’s how much these boys need it.

The worst part is that no one and their fucking mother talks about this anime because the fandom is practically dead, but i want to rant to someone about this so badly. You have no idea the inner workings of my brain that go absolutely feral when someone even mutters, “stars align.”

YES. TELL ME ALL ABOUT WHAT YOU THOUGHT OF IT AND I WILL BREAK DOWN EVERY CHARACTER EVEN IF THEY ARE A PATHETIC EXCUSE OF A HUMAN BEING.

I will pull an Oliver Wood and try to drown myself in the shower if someone supports certain behaviors from the characters here.

They are literally one of the sweetest fucking characters in stars align and i would hand them the goddamn universe if i could.

So, if you haven’t watched Stars Align(available on Hulu and Crunchyroll if we’re talking main streaming services) please invest your time to do so because you will not be disappointed.

There’s only one season because of budget issues(not enough streams was the problem I’m pretty sure), but holy fuck you will not be disappointed i swear.

Something about the trans experience that I experience a lot is the feeling of having missed out on being fem during your childhood and being taught a lot of things about femininity that usually go unspoken cuz everyone's taught about them by their families.

Maybe this is because I'm first-gen biracial and come from two heavily community-based cultures. In both of them, there's a lot of things that you learn from the women in the family, because raising kids is very much a communal thing. And I feel really down whenever I realize I didn't get to experience that. Stuff that no one tells you as a boy in those cultures, cuz you Don't Need To Know About That. Makeup is one, but there are plenty others that I don't see talked about often.

I was talking to my gf about getting piercings and I realized no one had ever told me how any of it actually works. And if I'd been afab, the women in my family would've walked me through it and it would've been a big coming of age moment. It's hard enough trying to connect to your peoples' cultures while being foreign born, and it's even harder when the parts that you desperately want a connection to are the ones that your traditions say you're Not Supposed To Have.

It just gets to me sometimes, and it's definitely a bigger component about my dysphoria than anything having to do with my body.

Lately I’ve had an obsession with Deidara? Kinda weird but hear me out.

Imagine Itachi and Sasuke sister. She’s the middle child, around 18 or 19 during shippuden so similar to Deidara’s age. Get this, Sasuke leaves the village after the sister (who were gonna call Uchiha sister bc idk what else) raises him since the massacre to the best of her abilities.

She was very upset and instead of seeking help, the akatsuki members seek her.

I could see hidan and kakazu going to recruit her since I don’t think Itachi would appreciate his little sister (whom he wanted to protect along with his brother) joining a criminal organization, especially the one he’s in.

I also don’t see Deidara and sasori getting her js bc I want Deidara to be the love interest and stuff.

Anyway hidan and kakazu retrieve her and threaten her to join but she was like

“I… have nothing left for me here anyway.” She pauses, pursing her lips before continuing, “I’ll join your organization.”

And then she joins or whatever and becomes a rouge ninja.

When she’s first introduced to the members, obviously Itachi was extremely shocked (mind you she knew he was in the akatsuki) and was seething with anger at her sight.

He was extremely mad but didn’t do anything since Yknow he’s all cool and stuff he would deal with his sister later.

So after uchiha sister introduced herself Deidara was like

“Hey.. so you’re 19 right? Heh.. yeah I’m 19 too.”

He would be interested in uchiha sister since she was his age and he showed her his clay creations explaining how “Art is an explosion, un!”
