i think the playlist got deleted bc it’s no longer in my likes, but i want you to know that rocked my world. like, absolutely. you are SO RIGHT Steve “The Hair” Harrington would vibe with that song. you’re so right. Look I know most of the world disagrees with me on this one, but caves are so good. I love being in caves. Unfortunately the few times I've gone caving were in guided groups and therefore wasn't quite as peaceful as I know it could be, but it was still so nice. I had the opportunity to turn off my headlamp and push my way through one of the tighter squeezes in that area and god do I want to do that again. Beyond just the fact that it's fun (it's extremely fun), it's like... it's like the Earth is giving you a hug. It's a perfect temperature, the cool mud a reprieve from the hot summer sun, no wind to chill you. It's so quiet, so still, so peaceful, and it feels like if you just sit there long enough, listen closely enough, find a way to embrace the Earth back, you can ask her anything you want, and she'll find a way to answer. She loves you, and you'll feel it in the cave. And it's beautiful, so beautiful. Incredible rock shapes, water in colors you've never seen it. The secrets, too, they're so full of secrets... I found bones in a cave once, a ways from the entrance. Some sort of small mammal, but there weren't enough to be certain. I never did quite shake the feeling that the cave would know what it had been, if I only knew how to ask. And I want to ask, I want to know what the cave has to tell me, but maybe it's said all it has to say: "You are loved here, by the Earth. Allow yourself peace."
