from what i can tell these two have no interactions and no dialogue about each other but every once in a while you see them sitting together on this (very big, might i add) bench so i like to think they're friends and i REALLY like to think they're going out but keeping it on the down low for multiple reasons (Penny is SUPER unused to being attracted to women and is working through some stuff, Maru is very much a "ah but i must focus on my work..." type). once they get all that sorted out it would be very sweet and cute
