Another page from the Loop Being Emo In The Woods WIP! The aftermath of the little episode from the previous page I posted. This one’s finished, and I need to think long and hard abt whether this level of detail is like, sustainable for something 15 pages long 😅

This comic originated from wanting to see more straight up sifloop romance, with pining and sad eyes and angsty internal monologues and tropey romcom bits and a healthy mix of drama/comedy. I plotted out a couple funny little one page comics, then got into thinking about character motivations and emotional beats, and now we’re like, maybe 15 comics/scenes/chaoters plotted and storyboarded in this universe? But because I hate keeping things simple, every one of those fucking comics is between 6-15 pages long and dialogue heavy, and I’m getting mired in the characterization of it all (not even counting getting mired in the visual storytelling and the plot progression of it all! And not even getting started on the “still very new to digital art, how does one use procreate” of it all!) Soooo haha I’m in danger :3

If anyone wants to talk in dms or on discord abt this comic and the greater sifloop shipping trash story it’s part of, hit me up! Especially if you know your way around plotting out a story a lil bit. I don’t know how to start conversations online 🙈 but I like to think I bring a lot to the table talking meta, trading wips and other art that I can’t post here, making lil comics from discord bits, and exchanging help with plotting/storyboarding/dialogue/character interpretations.

Avengers crossover Ford— my man installed an anti-mind control metal plate in his head for THIS?!? I just know that as soon as he is unmindcontrolled Stanley has to hold him down from preforming one-man brain surgery on himself to update it.

POOR FORD. He thought he was safe from mind control but it turns out the metal plate only shields him from Bill-related shenaniganary. If I recall correctly, Loki’s scepter was blocked by Tony’s arc reactor, but only because Loki tried to get Tony in the chest and he just couldn’t make contact with Tony’s body. So if Loki had gone for Ford’s head the guy probably would have been completely fine. Unfortunately for him his mind-control plate is only an anti-demon plate and not a “anti-infinity-stone-on-a-big-stick” plate.

And yes, 100% after the events of the Avengers movie, Ford is This Close to cracking his skull open to add some sort of Anti-Infinity-Stone-On-A-Big-Stick technology to the metal plate in his head. Stan has to forcibly restrain him from just going at it with No Plan No Anesthesia No Sterilization Fuck It We Ball

It’s been long enough and we’ve all collectively spiraled enough about Jace that he can never be mentioned in the fh canon again without me going “who’s that?” If he shows up in senior year. But on the flip side part of me wants him tapped back in for fan service alone lmao.

BLeeM isn’t reading or interacting with any of this at all, and with how niche starbreaker and general Jace loving freaks (affectionate) are across all social media platforms it’ll never happen. But it would be VERY funny if initially the one thing Bleem did see was the overwhelming collective fandom response back in May of “why was Jace working for Porter? They must be fucking.” And that’s the Jace we get in senior year. Freshly resurrected by Ankarna, rage crystal-less when the bad kids rock up and ask him if he was evil just for him to say “no, but if your hot coworker/situationship asks you to help him become god you try to be supportive c:”
