quite literally levitating out the bathtub here…totally normal behaviour

would talk a mile a minute and then try to convince you that’s how he’s like all the time

i commend him for covering his dick though like thanks vince i didn’t need to see that and somehow you got the memo

mf you are asleep wake tf up you are in the middle of a photoshoot my guy

like he’s actually asleep i refuse to believe he’s awake rn (at least in this photo)

mf is so faded if you nudge him he’d fall right into the water and drown

the guys take turns waking him up to do different poses but he gets upset if you wake him up so it’s just a game of “will he bite me if i wake him up” between the rest of the guys

will say “nah i’m good i was awake the whole time!” everytime someone calls him out on it

final ranking: 10/10 my guy go sleep this off pls

although nikki did seem like the type to lie and most of not everyone would believe him because he’s so coherent and on top of his game that they think he’s actually sober

and to bring this back around, wanna know what this all reminds me of? the satanic panic. think of tipper gore and her album labels, or the evangelical freaks talking about dungeons and dragons. did they know what was contained in the media they rallied against? did they take the time to sit down and learn about these things before publicly declaring them to be evil perverted tools of the devil? hint: no! they took a cursory glance, convinced themselves they knew everything there was to know, and then tried to get them banned. and what's more, they immediately began fostering a culture which encouraged consumers to also not ask those questions, to also assume they knew everything, and, significantly, to *trust those who asserted themselves as authorities.* tipper gore never listened to a twisted sister record, and i can guarantee you that none of the "concerned parents" who stood with her did either. they didn't want to, and they didn't need to, because they had tipper to tell them what was contained in the music.

the average tumblr user doesn't have anywhere near the kind of power that classic fuckheads like gore or jack chick or whoever had in their day (thank fuck), but with the rise of the weird fake woke neo-puritan ideas that are spreading around these days, it seems likely that a lot of people, especially kids, are gonna start internalizing this idea that horror (or anything that dares to explore the human experience in a way that isn't conventional and cutesy) is part of the evil demonic sex death cult 666 that hangs out on lucifer's nutsack. what i wish people who say this type of shit would consider is 1. where are you getting your info about this stuff? is it from someone who claims to know all? how likely is it that they actually do? and 2. when you think back on all the aforementioned fuckheads in whose footsteps you follow, do you think they're remembered as being on the right side of history?
