quite literally levitating out the bathtub here…totally normal behaviour

would talk a mile a minute and then try to convince you that’s how he’s like all the time

you can see those pinpoint pupils a mile away

i commend him for covering his dick though like thanks vince i didn’t need to see that and somehow you got the memo

mf you are asleep wake tf up you are in the middle of a photoshoot my guy

like he’s actually asleep i refuse to believe he’s awake rn (at least in this photo)

mf is so faded if you nudge him he’d fall right into the water and drown

the guys take turns waking him up to do different poses but he gets upset if you wake him up so it’s just a game of “will he bite me if i wake him up” between the rest of the guys

will say “nah i’m good i was awake the whole time!” everytime someone calls him out on it

although nikki did seem like the type to lie and most of not everyone would believe him because he’s so coherent and on top of his game that they think he’s actually sober

Loving Avowed but I do low-key wish wizards could use staves instead of wands. Maybe it’s because I unconsciously associate wands with Harry Potter but I’ve always thought they seemed sort of silly and childish, whereas a staff seems much more dignified and mature. Graceful, even. Elegant. A wizard with a wand is having a mid-life crisis; a wizard with a staff is confident and powerful and almost always an archmage. Plus if magic fails it’s easier to beat someone to death with a staff than a puny little wand. But perhaps the world isn’t ready for my hot takes on wizard apparatus.

Anyone else ever cut their hair really short (like pixie cut) and get the “compliment” that you were so brave?

My autistic ass really thought people meant it when they said that to me

But apparently that’s like… not a compliment. That’s people’s way to be nice without actually being nice

But the thing is, I’m autistic and trans, so whether it’s intended to be or not, I think it’s a compliment. Getting a haircut is brave, especially a drastic one, cuz you don’t know if you’ll like it, and you can’t really undo it if you don’t like it, and it can have massive effects on your confidence or sense of self

So yeah. Weird that it’s actually not a compliment

Thanks, local NPR station. But god help anyone who gets their news exclusively via your mythical centrist, IDF-propaganda cozy, "how will this directly impact my mortgage" perspective.

Also if someone is too busy or self-centered to handle the basic acquisition of factual information from the Internet in 2025, NPR is not equipped to manage what their bad parents couldn't. And they certainly shouldn't be allowed to handle children or money.

This seems like a petty gripe. But this kind of soft-focus dinner party prattle approach to news is how a lot of white women consume it (via NPR or elsewhere), and that stuff is specifically engineered to not ever call things like fascists fascists, for fear of making everyone too depressed to buy these products and services from our corporate underwriters.

Trump got where he is partly because this kind of "gentle news" STILL won't be honest about what evil looks like, or why we should care. And if journalism isn't about pointing out potential threats, what the fuck is the point?

We don't need you acting as our shield from the inconveniences of reality. Especially when our tax dollars are paying for this.

Having lived most of my life here I’m pretty sure I could teach pretty much any Great Plains resident how to ride a horse in two minutes flat. I am also pretty sure that our driver’s licenses are given out in cereal boxes and it would take me three years to teach any of them how to drive a car without it having to be registered as a deadly weapon.

*kicks down your door* It might seem like a plot hole that no one thought about the possibility of Dracula being invited into the asylum by Renfield (or any other patient) but actually it speaks to the way Renfield’s personhood is being denied mainly by Jack Seward, but also the rest of the crew in part through their reliance on Seward’s expertise. Which also ties into the way they have decided to shut out Mina at the very same time. It literally just did not occur to them that the patients living in the same building as them would have any claim to the residency that allows someone to grant the permission a vampire needs to enter a home. But of course the asylum is the patients’ home just as much as it is Jack’s! They live there! In short this fatal blow dealt to the heroes at this crucial juncture comes about through both their sexism and their ableism. Good night. *puts your door back on its hinges again and leaves*

Sylus's mind raced with anything he could think of to help you feel better - he'd thought of preparing the shooting range to let out all your frustrations or cook your favourite dishes or even coaxing you to go out to get some fresh air together.

But no, you didn't want any of that, with your arms wrapped tightly around his middle as you buried your tear-streaked face into his shoulder, your voice a pained whisper as he listened to your small plea -

"Stay, please." Your voice cracked slightly from all the crying, your body trembling from the intense emotions you were feeling as you slowly lifted your face to look up at him, your expression utterly distraught and exhausted. "I don't want anything else. Just you, please."

You didn't need to tell him twice as Sylus's arms instinctively pulled you closer to him, one hand moved up to cup your cheek as he gently wiped away the tears. "Shh. Its okay."

He pressed a soft kiss on your forehead before holding you firmer in his arms, the warmth of his body and his soothing reassurance made you melt against his hold. "Everything will be okay. I won't ever leave you alone."

A single tear rolled down your cheek as you closed your eyes, letting out a shaky sigh, you rested comfortably against him. His hand caressing your back to soothe you more, his calm voice echoing in your mind before the fatigue finally settled in as you fell asleep in his embrace.

"Rest, my beloved. I'll be here when you wake up."
