Everything I know about these two is from fanart, and from that I have deduced that these two engage in very Tom & Jerry antics. They are also Divorced.

I was stricken by a vision a couple hours ago to do this, so it’s here now

So in canon for my AU, Megatron technically was never a sparkling, or at the very least, he never consciously experienced childhood because he was grown in a lab and in a stasis pod for centuries. But I think about a what if scenario where he did sometimes

Also a note, due to the new lore, Optimus also didn’t have a childhood, he was created as an adult. I’ve been meaning to mention it, I just forgot to. I guess this only really amounts to parallels between the two, and also they’re some of the most ill-equipped bots to raise a child

Anyways, back to baby Megs. The scenario here is after Liege Maximo is defeated, and also The Fallen didn’t die and was probably found out to be Megatronus, whoever was fighting Liege encounters the unfinished Megatron, and The Fallen manages to convince them to instead let him have a chance at life, since he is not at fault for whatever Liege’s plans for him were going to be. So he gets to experience childhood

The problem is, due to him not having the virus now to make him normal, he is an evil little baby, a dastardly creature. I mean, he can’t actually do that much, but he’s a little bastard. Maybe he can learn morality, but at this point in his life, not so much

Also the other person in the picture is supposed to be Terminus, who is now here. I wanted Megatron to have Terminus, but the problem is that in my main story, there’s nowhere for him to fit in to fill that role. But he can be here

My new lore for him is that he and Megatronus used to be a couple back during his gladiator days, while Terminus was a miner. However one day, Megatronus disappeared and never came back, and Terminus assumed that his revolutionary ideals must have finally caught up to him. The Fallen, new into his new state of being, did try to find Terminus, in hopes of him maybe being able to help him, but Terminus didn’t recognize him, nor did any of the other miners who thought he was a monster there to attack them. This alteration may have also, accidentally, led to Terminus losing his leg. And then they never saw each other again and Terminus never learned of Megatronus’ ultimate fate, though he did manage to outlive him

But in this version of events, Terminus does end up learning about Megatronus after it all, and goes to meet him again since he never fully got over him (and he’s now put two and two together over that incident with The Fallen which he feels horribly guilty over), to at least try and apologize and reconnect with him. Which sort of leads to a semi-reformatted Megatronus out of his living prison and Terminus basically raising evil baby Megatron. Mostly Terminus because Megatronus is dealing with a lot of trauma right now

So basically, Terminus is his non-canon stepdad or something

But yeah, that’s the explanation for all this

I originally drew him with his normal look, but most of the way through coloring I realized that it didn’t line up with my AU sparkling lore I’ve half thought up, so I had to somewhat change it. But I won’t explain that lore here, that’s for another day, but they are all generic white, black and grey when very young, the colors come in later, along with other features

I really don’t have that many other notes on this honestly. I think the image is fine; nothing spectacular but it gets the job done well enough

And yeah, just this. Maybe it’d get the job done better if I didn’t lore dump, but like I have to explain the context and that this is not canon. And also, it’s not as bad as other posts of mine I think
