(and that reaction is a little too relatable, as someone who's neurodivergent... 😔🤨) - this is probably an english-only thing, but his little 'haha' in stressful circumstances is him masking/coping with the situation and doing a brain reset, or just his default 'how the fuck am i meant to react to that' response (citation: I DO THAT!!) - somehow masks and unmasks at the same time, like how he's wearing his literal mask on his head - will just come out with the most profound and deep truths, this jumpscares people (especially ones who think he's a total dumbass) - childe unmasking is just him with no expression, doing things in almost complete silence, even before the abyss he brought the vibe to the function that neurotypicals hate - ^ he'll never unmask around his fellow harbingers because he doesn't like them but also he likes annoying them hyperfixations/special interests - easy 'he's obsessed with battle' connection, c'mannn - and easy 'he's got an interest in weaponry', duhhhh - but imagine him just being able to identify any fish, too. - hyperfixated on liyue history, cuisine and culture during his stay there, probably kept getting zhongli to talk about whatever he was hyperfixating on that week (btw zhongli's autistic too, it's because he's hot, sorry i don't make the rules) - picks up 1 million hobbies and hyperfixates on them either for a week or until he's mastered them (the one week ones get shelved until he masters them) nerfed by celestia, AKA idk what to title this section - i just can't see childe being able to sit there and finish paperwork like a regular guy - northland bank managers fear him (he hands in paperwork one minute before the deadline) - pulcinella probably handles his important harbinger documents because childe lost too many of them - exchanged his quick moving and dodging in battle for a weekly sacrifice (he trips over something or breaks things through clumsiness; him and lynette are comrades in arms for breaking machines) - his sleep schedule is that he doesn't have one - he turns into some hunter-gatherer eater, unless someone with a normal routine is around, then he follows them and has regular meals at regular times (as opposed to him cooking borscht at 11AM

twomp week : day 7

NOSTALGIC MEDIA CROSSOVER TIME!!! I have been so looking forward to this prompt. as I first put it on the list I knew that I’d be doing the first one of these, but upon sitting down to draw it I decided to do some more for the fun of it which is why im so late lmao

so, here’s Argos and Mr Plant drawn in my best approximation of the artstyles of shows I grew up on. all of these meant so much to me at one point or another and I still hold so much fondness for them :)

Monster High

I cannot hazard a guess at how many times I watched Monster High growing up. I adored the webseries so much even though the episodes were only, what, two minutes long? and I watched pretty much all those original movies. you will never catch me watching the remakes cause you cannot improve on perfection.

anyway wouldn’t it be fun to see these guys at Monster High? I think Argos would thrive there. Mr Plant would probably murder so many of them for being overly friendly though. I also find the idea of him being Venus’ cousin or something so funny for no real reason.

Winx Club

it is an unfortunate truth that the guys in winx club just did not look as good. the girls all had their stunning fairy designs and each went through so many iterations of their powers and designs as they reached new levels and the specialists were just… the specialists. but i still had to draw Argos and Mr Plant in their style cause I was BESOTTED with this show for so so long.

I was so dedicated to watching this series that I woke up early on school mornings and annoyed my parents into letting me eat my soggy coco pops sitting on the sofa so that I could watch the episodes when they came on the telly. it was definitely worth it <3

X-Men

the abrupt shift from pretty cartoons aimed at preteen girls to X-Men is kinda funny to me but I was also in love with this series too. I’d watch it before bed most nights and I just loved it so much. I wanted to be Jubilee so badly (looking back on it now, as I am currently rewatching the series, uh… girlie was not having the best time but I just wanted to be around the X-Men who I adored and idolised) and had the BIGGEST crushes on Gambit, Storm and Wolverine (in that order). I’ve been saying Spiderman is my favourite superhero for years but I may have to change my mind to Wolverine looking back on things…

but yeah. Argos and Mr Plant. I can see them as mutants. I know the low-hanging fruit for Argos’ abilities is enhanced vision cause of all his eyes but I’m actually thinking he gives people visions or dreams (that can become obsessive) like the dream plant. as for Mr Plant, I am gonna be boring and just say plant-based powers cause it feels right for him.

Y/n stood on the sideline as she watched her mother saying her vows with her new man. She wondered how long this marriage would last. Don’t get her wrong, Greg was a very nice guy and he was head over heels in love with her mother and treated her like a Queen, the problem wasn’t Greg it was her mother. She changed her mind like y/n changed her jewellery, she was actually surprised when both of them announced they were getting married. The only upside of this whole thing was Greg’s son, Timothée, they didn’t like each other at first in fact they hated each other. They constantly riled each other up to the point she would turn and throw something, anything at him, an ashtray, a glass. They were always arguing and fighting, but each parent eventually ignored them saying they would get used to being around each other at some point.

But over the past few weeks something was different, they didn’t argue as much. In fact it was their parents who had began arguing more and more and they had been spending more time together usually in each other’s rooms so as not to have to listen to the fighting alone. One night something happened, during the wedding preparations both parents were arguing downstairs again and y/n was in her bed listening to the raised muffled voices when her door opened and Timothée came in shutting the door behind him. ‘Hey you okay?’

‘Yeah I’m fine, just bored of this bullshit.’ She sighed sitting up slightly.

‘The fuck are they arguing about this time?’

‘Apparently your dad invited someone called Kerry or Carrie?’

‘Terri? All this noise because of Terri?’ She nodded.

‘Who is she anyway?’

‘She’s the daughter of an old friend of my dad’s. He’s known her since she was a baby. She used to babysit me. Jesus Christ!’

Y/n sighed hearing a glass break downstairs. ‘Can you stay? I don’t want my mother crawling in beside me when she’s drunk and crying.’

Timmy looked at her before nodding in beside her and draping his arm lazily around her waist. The room was still in complete darkness so they couldn’t see each other very well but they could hear each other’s breathing.

‘I’m sorry for throwing that ashtray at you, I was just in one of my bad moods’

‘It’s fine, I deserved it. I shouldn’t have handled you like that.’

‘I don’t, I was just as pissed off as you when Stacey asked it.’

‘She’s not as soft as you are’ he mumbled in reply before he pulled her closer getting more comfortable around her and she sighed shuffling down against her bed to get comfortable with him and ended up tangled with him and wrapped her arms around his shoulders. ‘True I am built more softly than Stacey whereas she’s all muscle and hard and… manish.’ She made a face and began playing with his hair ‘What the hell is she training for’

‘Maybe she’s training to kick your ass’ he mumbled against her chest sniggering

She glared at his head in the dark and moved her knee between his legs but before she could reach her target he grabbed her throat and pushed her head back into the pillow ‘Don’t even think about it little girl’

‘Ow, Timmy fuck off, fine you win.’

She grabbed his wrist and struggled against him before he let her go ‘Good. And I always win.’

He smirked and wrapped his around again and she did the same mumbling ‘Dick’

She felt his smirk grow wider and sat up slightly pulling him up by his hair and licked a trail from his chin to his top lip hearing the noise in the back of his throat and smirked hearing him grumble ‘Fuck you’re such a bitch y/n.’

She chuckled at him laying back again. They started playing this game of having the last word, only it had become more physical although this was the first time she had done that. He lay down again this time on top of her and rested his chin on her chest between her breasts.

‘It’s gone quiet, who do you think walked out first this time?’ He asked as she listened too ‘Hmm sounds like both of them. It’s too quiet if that makes sense?’ He nodded agreeing with her.

She listens to his breathing calmly and continues to rub his back under his shirt before he sits up and removes it laying back on top of her. ‘Better.’ She instantly moves to run her fingers over his back when he lifts her pyjama top up mumbling ‘More skin’

She nods and pulls it off tossing it aside letting him bury his face in her chest.

They broke the kiss and y/n buried her head against his neck and rode him harder panting as he gripped onto her skin damp with sweat and he rammed his hips upwards to meet hers feeling his eyes roll back into his head from the joint force and heard her squealing against his neck and felt her nails drag down his back as they came together as their orgasms exploded around them. They were both sticking together on their skin with perspiration panting against each other heavily.

Y/n lifted her head and he pushed her hair from her face and kissed her sloppily which she returned with tongue. They broke away still licking each other trying to catch their breathes before rolling her over and laying on her chest.

I’m so sorry our visit got cut short. I was so fucking pissed. When I first got in here, I would cause trouble all the time. I don’t really have a life outside so I didn’t care if I got extra time. I haven’t really been rolling like that for a while because I’m fucking tired of doing time. I wanna drink and fuck and be outside. Do whatever I want, you know? But one of my bunkies allegedly got in a fight on the yard and the cops assumed I orchestrated it which is fucking stupid. They suspended my mail privileges “as a precaution.” Pendejos. Coco walked into the clubhouse, looking around quietly. Taza walked out from the bathroom, “Hermano,” he smiled, “You good?”

He nodded, “Yeah, man. You?”

Taza squeezed his shoulder, “All good. You looking for someone?”

“Hank?” he asked.

“He’s in the office,” Taza told him before heading to the bar.

Coco walked back outside, lighting a cigarette as he headed up to the office. When he opened the door, Hank was standing over Chucky’s shoulder with a stack of papers in his hand.

Chucky looked up and grinned, “Coco.”

Coco nodded, “Chucky. Hank.”

Hank glanced back at him through a pair of black rimmed glasses, “Bishop need me?”

“No, I uh…wanted to ask you something. Alone,” he added after a pause.

“I’ll be there in a minute,” Hank said and turned his attention back to the computer.

Coco went back outside but stayed close to the building, hiding from the harsh sun. He listened to Hank and Chucky go back and forth, a fond smile on his face. The door pushed open to reveal Hank, glasses off and no papers.

“Sorry, this customer keeps calling in, wanting impossible shit. Next time he starts demanding, I’m telling him to deal or I’m gonna beat his ass,” he shook his head as he lit a cigarette, “What’s up?” 

“I just had a favor to ask,” Coco murmured, “I have this…friend. She’s a dope artist and she wants to learn to tattoo.”

Hank smiled, “Have her come in, I’ll teach her.”

Coco put out his cigarette, “She can’t yet. She’s uh…she’s serving time.”

“This the girl I keep hearing about from the other guys?” Hank asked, “Why you were so upset a while back?”

He glanced over Hank’s shoulder at Gilly and Angel, cracking jokes and fixing a bike together. He nodded, “Yeah, she wrote me again. She’s alright.”

Hank followed his gaze and looked back at Coco, “You like this girl?“

Coco was smiling before he realized it, “Yeah. I do.”

“Good for you,” he pat Coco’s back, “Bring her in when she gets out. Teach her everything I know.”

“Thanks man,” Coco smiled, “I appreciate it.”

Hank nodded and went back in the office.

Coco felt much different as he went through the motions for their second visit. He knew her better. He knew she felt something too. Something more. He sat down at the table, his eyes trained on the door. They swung open and he leaned back when a different inmate walked in. He heard a loud laugh from around the corner and his heart skipped. He stood up as Nyx walked in, a huge smile on her face as she joked with the woman in front of her. Her eyes found his while she was being uncuffed and her face lit up even more. 

“There you are,” she rubbed her wrists as she walked over.

“You okay?” he asked, stumbling when she threw herself into his arms.

Coco pulled her into a tight hug, smiling softly when he felt her tremble. He rubbed her back and closed his eyes, holding her close until a CO called her name. She sat down and looked away, bringing a hand up to her eyes.

“You okay?” he asked again, a little softer as he took her hand. He felt remnants of tears on her fingers, still watching her intently.

“Even your concerned stare makes me feel squirmy,” she joked, squeezing his hand, “I’m okay. I’m happy to see you. How was your trip?”

He smiled softly, “Long, too hot. Boring. Missed you.”

Nyx pushed some loose hair out of her eyes, “I missed you too. Now tell me why you put money on my books.”

“Cause I want you to call me,” he smirked, “Don’t wanna just hear your voice when I can make it over here.”

“You’re a secret romantic,” Nyx grinned.

He held up a finger to his lips and winked. She laughed and reached into her pocket. She set a folded piece of paper on the table.

“For me?” he asked, glancing at a curious CO.

“The drawing, remember?” she murmured, “I finished it. I mean, this one’s not really a tattoo. I just…started thinking about you and this came out.”

“Really?” Coco took the paper, “Should I look now?”

She nodded, “I didn’t get to see your reaction to the first one.”

He let her hand go and unfolded the paper, his eyes wide. It was a drawing of the two of them, Nyx in a bikini, Coco in swim trunks. It looked like a photo from a beach day. He looked up to see her fidgeting nervously with her id bracelet.

“This is crazy, baby,” he murmured, “You did all this from memory?”

“Yeah,” she smiled softly, “I kinda guessed on your tattoos and shit since I’ve only seen you dressed. So far,” Coco smirked, “But yeah.”

“Good enough till we get a real one,” he smiled and folded it back up, “I love it,” he tried to play it cool but it felt like his heart was about to fly out of his chest.

Her eyes lit up, “Really?”

He nodded, “Hell yeah,” he put it in his shirt pocket, “Thank you.”

“It was inspired by your offer on my first day out,” she admitted, lacing their fingers together when he reached out again.

“Just let me know the date and I’ll be here,” he said, squeezing her hand.

“I still have a while to go,” she told him, “I get it if you don’t want to wait.”

Coco watched her body language change as she offered him an out. He tightened his grip on her hand, “Hey, what’d I say?” he murmured, “I got you. I’m not letting you rot in here. Not anymore.”

Nyx looked away before he saw the tears pooling in her eyes. He squeezed her hand again and she smiled uneasily.

“You gotta stop saying all the right things,” she joked.

“So I shouldn’t ask if you want me to hold your stuff again?” he smiled.

She laughed and wiped her eyes, “I can’t even help you move it, so no. It’ll be fine.”

He shook his head, “Nah, I didn’t ask for help. I don’t want him to pull some shit but if you don’t want to, I won’t.”

She frowned, “I just don’t wanna be a - “

“You aren’t a burden, baby,” he murmured, “I offered. And I got a team of brothers ready to help.”

“It would be nice to be done with him,” she admitted, “I just…what if something bad happens to us?”

Coco laced their fingers together, “I won’t take it out on your stuff, I swear,” he crossed his heart with his free hand.

Nyx smiled, “Cross your heart?”

“Hope to die,” he winked, grinning when she laughed.

I like Swallowed Whole content, that is what a good amount of this blog is about. I like reading other people's posts on the internet about it. I also have a comfort character for it that I have had for years. I have loved swwh stuff my entire life, but obviously I didn't know what it was throughout most of it.

I have autism and over all one of the biggest things I have been obsessed with my entire life is monsters eating people. I love dragons and sharks and aliens and dinosaurs and a bunch of others because of that. I find the idea of predators and monsters eating people just really cool and I always have

I love mouths and teeth and bellies and anatomy and biology and I think one of the main reasons is because of my fascination with swwh

I love chubby bellies the most, I think they are adorable. And I still love them even outside of a swwh context. I love chubby little puppies and hippos and a bunch of other things. Most people I know in real life know about that one because it is a lot less embarrassing to explain.

I also like stomach growls, along with utero white noise. They go hand in hand with me. Although I don't talk about it a whole lot, it is still embarrassing to me

Venom from Sony/Marvel- I am Obsessed with Venom. I have a DVD player and watch the movie and the sequel almost every day at some point. I know pretty much all of it word for word and will randomly quote the movies to my friends. My room is covered in Venom images/posters/drawings, including a huge one my friend got me for my birthday last year. I am still waiting to watch the 3rd movie

Jurassic Park/World- I also love dinosaurs. I have all the movies if those as well and many friends and I all know the most random stuff about them

Subnautica- Subnautica has to be my favorite videogame of all time. I have completed the game multiple times. I feel like a god when it comes to Subnautica lore. I still hope that they will eventually make good quality plushies so I can have them.

No Man's Sky- This is one I got recently. I have watched a lot of videos about the game and finally decided to get it. Sadly it takes my computer 30 minutes to start up the game, and my attention span can't handle that, so I only have 4 hours in the game itself.

SpongeBob SquarePants- Do I need to explain why I love this show? It's SpongeBob!

My Little Pony- I used to be obsessed with this show, but I stoped watching it when I was 12. I was embarrassed for a long time but decided to finally watch it again, and honestly I don't care if it's "for kids", it's good!

How To Train Your Dragon- Again? Must I explain myself? It's Toothless!

RainWorld- Another of my favorite videogames! My favorite character is Gourmand, and yes it is because he is chonky, but also he is just a great character and I love him. I have his plushie along with the original 3 lizards, and I sleep with them and they are my best friends. Also the game is God Tier in so many ways. It would be my favorite, but I constantly die and lose motivation, so it got beat by Subnautica.

Minecraft- It's Minecraft. I can play it with my friends, and also it's Minecraft

Animal Crossing- Ok so I may be too obsessed with Animal Crossing. Maybe. I have over 2,000 hours in the game... Stitches, Coco and Tangy are my favorites, although I love Stitches and Coco, Tangy is my best friend ever and I love her with all my being.

Hobbies:

Of course I love drawing. I also love world building and lore and characters. I have many, but my favorite is Famine, which is the monster that I draw and post about. He consumes my ever waking thought. Basically I took all my favorite things and mashed it into a creature, and then decided I was going to dedicate every waking moment of myself to him for at least 5 years. He is the perfect being.

I also am a furry and build fursuits. I have made a fursuit of Famine already, but he is a few years old now so I will soon be making a new one for him. Because if this is also know how to sew and I will sometimes make stuffed animals

I am also obsessed with plushies. They are the best

Playing video games and watching movies are also something that I love.

I also will roleplay with my friends. I don't do it with others though, I wouldn't even know how and I would be very uncomfortable.

(not to mention essentialist as hell.) boys have pussies, girls have dicks, people of all genders are intersex, etc. some of us notgirls and failguys just want to vicariously experience our fave getting his clit sucked or her prostate massaged. i personally hate fics that go "but what if these [cis] dudes were [cis] GIRLS" and then proceed to strip the characters of everything that makes them compelling, that makes THEM, because at that point you might as well just flesh out your OCs and maybe interrogate your internalized misogyny and transphobia while you're at it.

in the case of sandman, i am (transparently, obviously) curious about what happens if the Corinthian is not designed to be (read as) a man. in the comix, he very much embodies the fears and risks associated with gayness in the 90s (the AIDS epidemic, the dual violence of the closet and/or being outed, the culture around cruising, intersections of race and class with queerness in U.S. urban areas, etc). in the show that's subtly shifted to be a broader umbrella of queerness as well as a very 21st century anxiety around surveillance/public vs private that also taps into a cultural fascination with serial killers. in both cases, him reading as white, middle-aged U.S. man is a CRUCIAL part of what he signifies. he looks like (and takes advantage of being) someone with a lot of social privilege, across multiple categories. no one is going to question why he's in a fancy hotel, a conference room, a seedy bar, a suburb. OBVIOUSLY that changes if any one of these categories changes. i'm thinking about how and also what that means.

(the dreaming spinoff comix tried to do a Thing with a female Corinthian: while Coco spends a year as a real boy, a trans woman named Echo takes his place in the Dreaming. the spinoff handles Echo...really poorly. on some level i'm not sure the Corinthian could ever be anything besides the Corinthian, if that makes sense. as in, if you change anything about him, maybe then he ceases to be the Corinthian and becomes something else entirely. Dream can take different forms (and Overture has a femme!Dream) because stories can take different forms across cultures and times and species. but the Corinthian is intrinsically tied up in humanity and its biomythic nature. and what we think of as Human, as Sylvia Wynter reminds us, is very much tied up in narratives around identity including race, gender, and class.

at the same time my id absolutely wants a butch lesbian Corinthian who uses he/him pronouns. mostly because lesbian and wlw sex STILL gets dismissed or sanitized or erased or pathologized, even though queer women remain subject to state, police, and domestic violence at higher rates than their straight and/or cis counterparts. (also yes i'm counting my trans hermanas y primas, t*rfs can fuck right off.) but also because i'm a fagdyke with religious trauma who relates very hard to god's failed masterpiece.

~Kitchen Chaos~

lee! Seungmin, ler! Hyunjin (a bit of ler! Hyunjin too)

Seungmin and Hyunjin were in the kitchen helping felix make his amazing and delicious brownies. Cookracha were also recording a vlive, which meant they showed stay every step of how to make Felix’s special. Felix knew what he was doing and so did Hyunjin, but seungmin had no clue where to start.

“Hyung, where do I start?” Seungmin gave Hyunjin the puppy dog eyes because he really wanted to help. Felix gave him some instructions:

115g melted unsalted butter

30g coco power

100g brown sugar

100g caster sugar

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp espresso

2 eggs

The puppy looked completely stunned by the list if instructions he had to follow in order to create a batch of the brownies. He started by weighing out all the ingredients from the recipe using a weighing scale and measuring spoons. “I hope I’m doing this right, I don’t want to mess up” the puppy thought to himself as he struggled. But to his dismay, he got half of the measurements wrong from the recipe felix gave him. What was he going to do now? He couldn’t just throw away all the ingredients, it would be a waste

“How’s it going? You seem to be okay, right?” Hyunjin laughed sarcastically as he put his arm around the vocalists shoulder who was trying to concentrate on trying to cover up the mistake he made. “can I see what you’ve done?” He tried to grab ahold of the bowl but Seungmin’s hands caught his wrists.

“Wait! It’s…uhm…not finished yet!” the puppy thought of an excuse as he yelped to his hyung. Hyunjin knew that his member had accidentally messed up the recipe but he played it off cool and pretended he didn’t suspect a thing. He tried to get himself out of Minnie’s firm grip but he was too strong. Seungmin knew what he was trying to do so he started to poke and jab his sides.

“Hehehey, lehehet gohohoho!” Hyunjin wailed as seungmin kept continuing to poke him. The vocalist stopped and trotted over to the sofa in a bit of a mood. His hyun followed him and the next second, Hyunjin had him pinned on the sofa with his hands above his head.

“wait! plehehehease don’t!” he cried as Hyunjin started to tease him with air tickling him. “I’ll doho anythihing~” the puppy giggled nervously because he didn’t want to think about being tickled

His hyung laughed “Are you going to tell me what happened? Or am I just going to tickle it out of you?” he jolted his fingers into his collarbones and Minnie tried to hold in his laugh

“mhmhmhmhmhmmhm” he giggled as he felt the ticklish sensations all over his sides. Felix laughed and observed from the kitchen as he carried on cooking. Jinnie started to get bored of seungmin holding in his laugh.

“what if I do this?” the vocalist knew what was coming next; it was one of hyunjins tactics to make his members tell him anything. He started massage his under arms, because that’s where one of his weak spot are (like some of the members: Minho, felix, han) he began to slowly move his finger in the puppies axillary and it was enough to make him laugh out loud.

“YAHAHAHAHA, PLEHEHEHEASE STOHOHOHOHP, YOUR SOHOHOH MEAN” the puppy s reached at the top of his lungs but Hyunjin wasn’t having it. Who dares to call him mean? Of course it’s going to be seungmin. He jammed his fingers all over his stomach and laughed along with Minnie.

“This is what you get for calling your hyung mean, you would never do it again Minnie, should you?” He hated being teased, especially if it was being teased by Hyunjin because he over exaggerates everything. “Just one more place and I should be done!” He smirked at him and Seungmin’s eyes were fixed in his hands.

Jinnie went to his worst spot: his sides. He attacked the sides of the younger and it was more than enough to drive him insane - he arched his back and threw his head back onto his hyungs lap, trying to get out of this tickly mess. He managed to set his arms free and he sat on top of Jinnie’s waist.

“WAIT- THATS NOHOT FAIR, FELIX HELP ME PLEASE!” felix watched from a distance because he didn’t want to get involved with the tickling, still knowing Hyunjin would get his revenge in him for sure later. The puppy started to drill his fingers into the older’s sides as revenge for what he did to him earlier. “NAHAHAHAHAHA, AHAHAHAHA~”

“Your so cute!” he laughed but couldn’t continue because he was still weak from before, instead he got off him and he hugged Hyunjin.

oki oki oki anywayyy back to your ask, i just had to address that - for my general lore, i used to selfship with blade and so in my mind, that takes place in the same universe ヘ(^_^ヘ) in a summed up version, i grow up in penacony but i get bored so i try and travel but i'm struggling to find a place and i want to feel like i belong and kafka takes me in like a stray kitten so i follow the stellaron hunters along (blade happens during that time) but then sometimes i struggle with how they carry things out so as much as i love them, i do eventually take my leave, which is when blade and i end things, but i do keep in touch with them & i have a little reference to them in my next veris selfhip art !!

now this is where ratio comes in !! i think after leaving, i go back to penacony and i try and find my place there again. i think i jump into the first job i see, which ends up being a bartender & i come across aventurine a lot & sometimes veritas tags along so we've made a little bit of small talk there, but mostly it's with aventurine.

but then i notice veritas popping in more and without company. he doesn't talk too much at first and when he does, he's a little off with me, so i'm a bit snarky back and then we just develop this sarcastic annoying relationship where every time he comes in, we try and rile each other and make stupid remarks about one another, but it's clear there's no malicious intent behind it

he pisses me off a little but i love it and i can also deal with it because i get happy whenever i'm working a shift and his handsome face enters (but ofc i cannot show that)

i think aventurine catches on very easily when they're both at the bar together so he becomes a matchmaker of sorts and starts inviting me to hang out with their little circle so now he really has no escape from me *insert evil laugh*

& then later we both come to the realisation that we're annoying with each other because we like one another. ♡(ˆ⌣ˆԅ)

& then we become super awkward around each other and nervous and i mentioned it here but we talk our feelings out to stop the whole being flustered 24/7 in each other's presence situation and then have this little moment before we share our first kiss.....& then i think we take it slow, once we've moved past our initial dynamic, we actually take on healthy habits with how we approach whatever it is that we have & he's not the best at voicing love and care at times but he has his moments and does want to take me out on dates and stuff because he knows i'd appreciate that ꒰⑅ᵕ༚ᵕ꒱˖♡

for first impressions....well after we seem to be getting closer, i find out that he was off with me at first because i wear a stellaron hunter badge (despite leaving it, i wear it because the group is family) and he's a natural sceptic so he's wary of me at first before learning i'm harmless buuut despite that initial cautiousness, he was drawn to me and definitely intrigued by me, which is why he kept coming back and then after interacting a little, that intrigue turned to him finding me a little enchanting and endearing :')

my first impression of him is just holy shit this man is beautiful, i am 100% heart eyes from the get go, even if i try and (fail to) hide it....at first i'm nervous though that he does not like me because initially i couldn't read him and he was a bit distant at first but then when he kept coming back i'm like hmm i see you buddy, maybe you don't mind me......

being soft on main isn’t either of our strongest suits but i won’t lie, i’ve been in my feelings a lot these past couple of days thinking about celebrating you. since i met you, my entire life has changed for the better. i feel like you’ve been a catalyst for a lot of change in my life. you’ve given me freedom, security, family, unconditional love, the best friendship i’ve ever had and a lot, a lot, a lot and i mean a lot of headaches. but they’re worth it because i love you, even when you do the dumbest things.

like when you feel like you get beer wings and you can fly or when you put the utensils in the wrong way and not to mention unorganized in the dishwasher or when you get bored and raid my skincare fridge just to stick your (probably) dirty hands in them to see what each serum or cream each feels like. and don’t even get me started on the way you somehow manage to leave socks in every room of the house. it’s like a treasure hunt, except the treasure is always finding just one sock. the other one? lost in a mysterious void~. omg ok, why did my blood pressure just rise? lemme back on track.

i love you more than anything. truly. you are everything to me and i’m just grateful you’ve chosen me to do life with. i don’t think i’ve ever had a truly bad day since i met you, you make all the most hard and worst things easy to get through. you’re my home, you know? sometimes i catch myself thinking how wild it is that out of everyone in this world, we found each other. it’s kind of crazy when you think about it. all the things that had to line up, all the moments that had to happen just so we could end up here. the heartbreak, the walls we both had to knock down for each other and all the bullshit we had to get through to find our happy ending. together we defeated our egos, our fears, trauma and so much more.

it’s also crazy to even think we don’t have an anniversary. we just became us over time. was it quick? no. i can remember the many long months it took for us to even say ‘i like you’ let alone decide this is it for the each of us and don’t get me started on allowing ourselves to fall in love. we bought our house, got our kids and just have always lived our lives on our own terms and i appreciate that. i wouldn’t trade any of it. even with all the little annoyances, you make my life fuller and brighter in every way. i never imagined i’d find someone who could make me laugh, make me crazy and make me feel this loved all at the same time. i’m not perfect and neither are you but together, we make a great team.

so yeah, you drive me up the wall sometimes. but at the end of the day, there’s no one else i’d rather have beside me when the world gets tough or when it’s 2 am and we’re just lying in bed talking about nothing and everything or like sharing tiktoks about the craziest conspiracies or those ones of people getting spooked and we’re dying laughing with tears in our eyes. our dogs think we’re fucking insane but that’s a different story all together. thank you for all that you do for me, for us and our life together. i love you for all of it, the good, the bad, the messy middle. for working so much, putting yourself and your body through it so we have somewhat of a security and for making sure i never want or need for anything. thanks for being my person.
