Donald Duck gets fired - Quack Pack and The Legend of The Three Caballeros - Video Clip

Donald Duck has worked many jobs in many cartoons and comics, but whenever bad things happen to him, he gets fired. So in Quack Pack and The Legend of The Three Caballeros. In Quack Pack, Donald was a cameraman working for Kent Powers, but in the episode "Pride Goeth Before the Fall Guy", he is fired under sabotage by Nigel Nightshade. Although Daisy defended him, Kent Powers still fired him.

In the episode "Dope-A Cabana", Donald is a hairdresser and barber who works for Mr. Macklemore, but unfortunately because he couldn't give Pete's son Pete Junior a good haircut (Pete is actually a woman in The Legend of the Three Caballeros), he angered Pete and Mr. Macklemore fires Donald with "You're fired!". And on Donald's birthday, unfortunately.

You can freely compare, but you can see a big similarity that Donald worked for blondes who are very awkward towards him. If you want justice for Donald, feel free to like and reblog this!

i've been meaning to ask whats up with your pete and minnie?

You said your pete is inspired by the three musketers version (great movie) but also alot of your things in your ver are inspired by old-old cartoons so I wanted to ask

does your pete still have crush on minnie or does he just run after power, or is it like in some comics (I think) where pete still has a crush on her but is following "pull your crush's hair to get her to notice you" rule book?

I feel like these 2 are rarely seen as a villian vs hero duo but more so trio bc of mickey always popping up out the corner, a bit of unused dynamic in mu opinion but then again i have only seen the comics on other people's blogs so-

Well my Pete's inspired mainly by that version, but its more so multiple versions as it's mainly Off Screen, because this world takes place in a Who Framed Roger Rabbit World I call Off the Animation Table,

I've never seen a reality where he ever had a crush on Minnie. Maybe you are thinking of Mortimer Mouse? Pete did have a wife named Peg in the 90s cartoons and even a son and daughter PJ and Pistol,

Again you got to remember in Off the animation table it takes place in a reality where cartoons are actually living in our reality, walking alongside Humans.

Mickey Mouse is not just a Cartoon on paper he actually walks around, actually owns the Disney company as CEO and owner and former Heir taking over after after Walt Disney died and even has the titling of Walt Disney's son, every other character is the exact same the population as of 2024 in their reality is upwards of 3 million Disney Toons, each one has an on-screen personality just like any actor,

Each one has on-screen lore as a result but they're off screen selves can be just as twisted as on-screen,

Pete is a good example of this his known body count was upwards of 20 by the time his streak was ended after Pete ended the life of Detective Roger Rabbit during a raid on Petes bootlegging operations, ( based on the book who censored Roger Rabbit lore Roger initially was not a major player he was a catalyst)

Post 2024 Pete the Cat who was reanimated after the original was executed, is a very introverted individual who's finding his confidence since everyone's still glaring and treating him like crap, Mickey though offers a hand to keep him from going down the wrong path once more.

the 7-questions-ask: Goofy

Three facts about them from my personal headcanons.

His original name, Dippy Dawg, was a screen name, because people told him the name "Goofy" would get him laughed out of Hollywood. But Mickey convinced him to start using his real name.

His love triangle with Clarabelle Cow and Horace Horsecollar is a lot like the Norman/Hannah/Mike love triangle in Joanne Fluke's Hannah Swenson mystery novels (a guilty pleasure of mine). Clarabelle can't choose between Goofy and Horace, so she dates them both. Even though they would both like to be her only boyfriend, they accept this arrangement with minimal jealousy, are still friends with each other, and sometimes date other women too (e.g. Sylvia in An Extremely Goofy Movie).

His two favorite foods are pancakes and homegrown tomatoes. Sometimes he combines them by making pancakes with tomato sauce, or BLT sandwiches with pancakes as the bread – both of which are surprisingly good.

Five things that never happened to the character that I believe should have happened:

There should have been more cartoons showing Goofy with Max outside of the Goof Troop/Goofy Movie universe (besides Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas and Twice Upon a Christmas), letting Max interact with Mickey, Minnie, et al.

We should have learned what happened to Max's mother.

There should have been a cartoon explaining why anthropomorphic dogs like Goofy and non-anthropomorphic dogs like Pluto exist in the same cartoons.

He should have shared more cartoons with Dolores the Elephant besides The Big Wash.

There should have been a cartoon about the "making of" Mickey's Christmas Carol, showing how he came to be cast against type as Jacob Marley, of all characters.

He should have attended the premiere of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs with Mickey, Minnie, and Donald. He probably would have looked hideous, as Mickey and Minnie did (only the Donald costume looked good back then), but he deserved to be there.

Minnie Mouse. She's too "perfect" – he needs to be with someone who's a little clumsy and silly like himself.

Daisy Duck. Ditto.

Minnie's dog Fifi. Even though she's the same species as he is, she's non-anthropomorphic, and he doesn't go for that.

Snow White. She's his favorite Disney Princess (because his original voice actor, Pinto Colvig, also voiced Grumpy and Sleepy), but she's human.

💗 Yay! I am finally posting something that isn't a gif! During my 'gif making break' I went back to watching a childhood cartoon, that the power puff girls, after watching a video that featured a familiar face (that being Fuzzy Lumpkins) and immediately fell in love (especially given the fact that he's voiced by Jim Cummings, the one who voices Peg Leg Pete!). And just with nearly every character I adore, I create a character to be either paired with or just exist and be left in the back burner for all eternity :)

💗 I've been journaling down an PPG AU based on my head canon on Fuzzy Lumpkins. It focuses on the lives of the two pink fluffy creatures, and eventually became a happy married couple blah, blah, blah, happy ever after. The title of the AU is called Raised in Townsville. Basically, this lovely lady floof was raised by a human couple, because she was abandoned in the middle of the woods during a storm, and the couple escaped from ruthless animals. Allegedly. There's a twist with her parents, (mostly her mother) planned to kidnap a baby lumpkin and raise her to despise her own kind while her father genuinely loved Lummiea as his daughter. There's a lot I've written down, but I think you've gotten enough to get the idea with this character. 💖

Note: It's canon universe, but it is set in late 1933. It is my first attempt at writing this pairing, but trying to get the personalities to mesh was amusing. There is a small, subtle nod to another fic of mine hidden inside!

The morning sun was rising over the horizon as Zorran was steaming through Dem Der Rocks. With a slew of news coming out of Cuba, Captain Zero was having Zorran work overtime to assist his mafia connections. In return for his continued loyalty, Zorran and the other Zero Tugs had to smuggle a powdered white drug into Bigg City. Besides, Zero remarked, it was more subtle than alcohol.

Zorran was secretly wishing for those days of rum running as he sailed towards the harbor. There was a lot of risk involved, but he loved the thrill of running barrels of alcohol without being caught. That was just a mere decade ago, and now he had pester humans to scrub the remnants of heroin off of his deck so that the police wouldn't notice. The harbor tug was so deep into his train of thought when he heard the distinct shrill of a whistle. And it was the one that made his frame go stiff.

Immediately to his starboard side, he could see Hercules steaming right up to him. Although times were changing, one could tell that the tension between the two tugs still lingered. Mostly, it was Hercules making jabs at Zero's business ethics. This time though, the smell of cleaning chemicals and dead fish gave Zorran a chance for payback.

"Smells like you had a good time." Zorran scoffed, glancing to see Hercules sail up to him at an unusually slow pace. He quickly noticed that the larger tug's golden sunglasses were missing, and he snorted loudly. "And it looks like you had a good time too!"

Hercules simply rolled his eyes. "You know how much I love it rough m'dear." He sarcastically remarked, motioning Zorran to steam up to him. Even just a few short years ago, Hercules would have never even dreamed of calling Zorran that. "But not too rough. A freak wave washed away my glasses, and I barely got out of there."

Zorran couldn't blame Hercules. Both Captain Zero and Captain Star were struggling financially, and a beaching was the last thing Star needed. "Fine fine, I'll help you out. Normally I'd charge ya, but I'm feeling..." His mind went blank, and his cheeks went a bright pink. "I guess I'm feeling generous. It's on me!"

"Is something on your mind son?" The ocean tug replied, pressing a comforting bump. "Or you're just a bit... excited to put me in my place?"

Zorran's pink face now went ruby red, and he swore butterflies were building up in his stomach. It took a year of trying to treat Hercules as an equal to realize how and why Lillie loved him. It then took another year to confess his feelings for both. The relationship was kept a secret, and for good reason. Both Captains would nail all three ships to crosses and send them down to Davy Jones should word ever get out. And right now, Hercules's teasing was making it particularly difficult for that secret to be kept.

"Lillie's gonna peg yer keel if she sees ya like this." Zorran grunted, starting his engine back up to push forward through Dem Der Rocks. The sun was rising above the trees at the inlet, and he stole a glance at Hercules to see if he kept mum. "Looking forward to it to be honest."

Hercules let out a rather loud snicker. Thank Neptune Izzy or even Scuttlebutt Pete were not morning people. "You're giving me ideas son. Plenty of ideas." He mused, not minding the large crow that landed on his cap. When they sailed past a snoozing marker buoy, he then asked, "Care to take me to Lucky's? I might ask the man to see if I can squeeze a day off out of Star."

"A date at Lucky's? Zero's gonna send me down with the fishes!" Zorran feigned annoyance and laughed. "Star's likely gonna give ya the time off after the wave anyway. And maybe see if he can squeeze one out of Zero too!"

Hercules gave a bemused smile as Zorran changed course for Lucky's Yard. Lucky paid no mind to it, owing to the fact that he was well aware of the relationship and kept his silence. With the sun now shining into Bigg City proper, he closed his eyes and drifted to sleep.

Zorran cocked his wheelhouse back, and gave a cheeky huffed as he pressed on. Perhaps their banter and shenanigans would have to wait.

If your activism starts with, stops at, or EVER even INVOLVES seeking an acceptable target to be a shithead to, you've lost the plot and started culturing a shit idiot brain fungus that will bleed into the rest of your politics and your personality and it will make both worse and more insufferable.

Look. Punch a fucking nazi. Make the fucker bleed. But you will always, ALWAYS do more good by spending your energy constructively helping the oppressed instead of hunting down a target. Yes, the structures of power that perpetuate oppression need to be destroyed. But you won't actually pull that off by firing off unprovoked shots at every [oppressor class] person you see. Pete Smith over here is not the reason why women are oppressed, even if he benefits from their oppression. And you'll do more good donating to an ethical abuse shelter than sending Pete anon hate ever could.

I hesitate to make the sweeping generalization of "we all," but most of us want some amount of fucking revenge on the ones that are keeping us down, perpetuating our loss and lack of human rights. Of course we fucking do. But that revenge needs to go to the right target, not the easiest ones. Because, like it or not, the easiest targets are gonna be other oppressed folks. Even if they're whatever oppressor class you've made it a personal crusade of yours to destroy, you need to look at this shit intersectionally.

And even then. Even if you find the perfect target, the mythical allocishet neurotypical middle class white man who has never once seen a day of struggle based on the circumstances of his birth? Giving him hell for no reason is still stupid. Adding unprovoked negativity to the world is still adding negativity. Feel free to block his ass on the basis of all that alone, whatever, but there are women, nonbinary kids, jewish autistics, poor black folks, homeless/unhoused that are all in much more desperate need of uplifting than Pete is of being taken down a peg.

Hate your oppressors all you like. But choose battles that actually make a difference, not just the ones you can reach, not just the ones that feel good. If that means you can't choose a battle at all, then find something else to do. Your life and the lives of others will be better for it.

ok, sure, i guess theres nothing wrong with "hating your oppressors," but if hating your oppressors means treating 50% of the people around you like human garbage cuz of something they cant help, then youre being kind of an asshole
