I'd just like to point out some stuff: we know the earth is Alecto's original body. We also know every planet has a soul that is affected by necromancy (not just Jod but the lyctor veing able to kill planets) and goes into the river (ressurection beasts, ect) , same as human souls.

Now, affecting souls is a known part of necromancy every necromancer can theoretically do. But so are bodies. So it's not out of the realm of possibility that ANY necromancer can affect planets the same way (though it probably requires a much, MUCH larger amount of energy, probably only viable for lyctors and such).

Now you might wonder, "So how come no one knows about it?" And the answer would, of course, be that Jod is an asshole who doesn't want people to have that much autonomy.

Think about New Rho. Conditions there were so harsh, everyone had to wear protective suits just to go outside.

Now look at the nine houses (or to be more accurate, the second to ninth houses): we KNOW that irl, humans can't live on any other planet in our solar system. And yet, they do, and they seem to not have to constantly wear space suits. So what gives? I'd wager that when he started settling the other planets, jod tweaked the state of each plant to make it more inhabitable. Maybe he quelled storms on some of the gas giants, or created plants that can grow on a planet closer to the sun. It wouldn't surprise me if he's still maintaining stuff on the planets from a distance (since these conditionsare based on things like the placement of the planets, which he could'vealso changed ig) , like he's doing with the sun.

One example is the ninth house; it's mentined as far back as gtn that there are snow leek growing OUTSIDE on the surface of the planet. We know that's not possible on pluto rn, just based on the distance from the sun if nothing else. That means Jod either moved the planet closer to the sun (less likely, in my opinion), or changed both the leeks and the planet itself to such an extent that it'd be possible.

However! We know that the ninth is particularly inhospitable compared to the other houses (the fact that anyone from outside coming in is considered a pilgrim). I'd wager that the reason for that is Jod's plan for the ninth to die out, and leave the tomb forgotten, which meant he WANTED conditions there to be especially harsh

Ortus is gideon nav or gideon the ninth or gideon the first except for when its ortus nigenad. ortus the ninth is only kind of real. kiriona gaia is, in fact, also gideon. no the other one.
